Speaker 2 (00:08):
My macas rewards.

Speaker 3 (00:10):
Welcome to a little bit of Pod.

Speaker 1 (00:12):
As we have discussed, Vaughan Smith was hired by the
courtesy Spra Household to assist us with some outdoor work and.

Speaker 3 (00:20):
Still I hadn't been asked.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
I actually informed Earon of your you know, distaste for
the fact that I didn't ask you to you as well,
and he said, I'm sure we could find a couple
of jobs for him to do.

Speaker 2 (00:32):
Little jobs.

Speaker 3 (00:33):
Actually busy now, yeah, actually busy now. Yeah. So you've
missed your window.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Yeah, well that's such a shame, such a shame.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
But you were a rain yesterday borne, Yes, helping out? Yep, yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
What do we do? A bit of moving mulch and soil.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
We filled up some garden beds, some weed matting, some malch,
some stapling, and some chopping of wood and loading of
the yurt.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
Wow, tell you I could have done all of that.
That sounds easy.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
I actually don't think you could have.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
Here was my thing, like I come, I go home
at the end of the work day. At the moment
because Aaron's been working very hard on the house and
I've really come last late to the party.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
But here we are.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
I finished radio and I honed straight home and then
I worked till eight pm and then we got a bed, right.
And I find it so hard to get motivated and
get going when I'm working on my own, I'm just like,
oh yeah, I'm tired. I want it to be over,
and I bitching moment the whole time. Yesterday one came
an energy.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
Wow, okay, because I'm the opposite. I struggle here because
I hate it.

Speaker 4 (01:35):
Early morning and I work were very painful, Yeah, socially,
and I feel that comes across genuine French something.

Speaker 3 (01:43):
It's coming across on you.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
How much you just stay in our company.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
It's a genuine distantia. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:49):
But when I get home, that's when I'm like, let's
get into this kicking to gear.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
Well, why didn't you just do that in the morning?
You can too long? Yeez, this guy, I'm rolling the
Christmas man.

Speaker 4 (02:04):
I mean, I've worked afternoons with you and you still
act that way.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
I feel like I'm in prison, a glass quarium prison. Yeah,
give me outside.

Speaker 4 (02:14):
You hate work, but you love the money, say yesterday,
I might start doing landscaping in the afternoon.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Yes and Aaron was talking about wanting to do landscaping
as well as like he's the two guys with the
most broken fucked backs that I've ever met in my
life were.

Speaker 3 (02:26):
The sort of landscoping business.

Speaker 1 (02:28):
Push it anyway, So we Vaughn really came and hustled
and brought a new energy to the property because Aaron
was working on his projects and I was working with
Vaughn a lot of energy. He moves fast, and so
I was heave holding dirt at a rate in which
I wouldn't usually I would have gone slow and really
dragged my heels. God, we've got things done. We got
lots done. We were moving at a great pace.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
I wondered, and I did say to you at the time,
I was like, are we going too quick for Aaron? Like,
because Aaron's very particular iCal but just like takes his
time and whereas I'm just like fucking go he said.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
At one point he was like God, he said, oh,
you were doing something. God, I hope we're doing all
right because on Rip Smith he's here.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
We were in the weed mat and I was just
like it, that'll do dang dang dang dan dang dang, dang, dang,
dang dang dang.

Speaker 4 (03:13):
And it was fine, but I was like, I know
Aaron's very particular.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
Let him see it. Let's get the mulch on top
before our weed mat can be.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
Well, I have weed metted with Aaron before, and yes
he does, he does talk to it.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
It does a particularly seem I'm just like, crack.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
His soul sees it. His soul sees it.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
It's like the house. You should see it's a work
of art. And I'm like, but no one ever sees.
He's like, I know it's there, So that's a thing. Anyway,
So we got so much done and at the end
Varney had to take off. Just was perfect right, And.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
Then how did he find the the ute load? Because
I always overloaded. Okay, here's a little review.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
We have so much in the back of our youth
like it was loaded, and then Vaughan just strapped on
a bit apply on top one x cross and then
we loaded.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
Crank, crank, crank, and the ply folded down like a lead.
And then I was like the rest of the pie
is going on the roof racks.

Speaker 4 (04:07):
Put that on and just fucking crank crank, crank crank
until it can't move.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
Then for he had to leave, and so Aaron gone
on the truck with me to offload where we were
taking it, and we offloaded it and.

Speaker 2 (04:18):
Met he was like, shit, you guys got a lot
on here.

Speaker 1 (04:19):
And then as he took off the top of the
stuff that was on the roof racks, the one thing
he said was I'll sit down here. And I said, oh,
he strapped it that way so that if I was
to break, it wouldn't slip forward.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
He's like, nah, I wouldn't have done it like that.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
That's all good.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
I wouldn't have done it like that. It was only only.

Speaker 1 (04:35):
Because the roof racks run there and he goes around
and then does like a kind of a cross crow.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
Anyway, I don't give a ship.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
It didn't fall off, made it to the pile. Then
at the end we were discussing the day, being like, man,
we got a lot done today, and he said, he said,
you and Vaughn are such a great team.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
That was we were having fun.

Speaker 4 (04:55):
Is that the genuine friendship that not only comes out
on air, but also in the garden.

Speaker 1 (04:59):
I think in the guard, I think the authentic and
genuine friendship was really coming across in the gun. He
was like, I think as well, because he knows what
I worked like on my own, and he was marveling
that I really dragged me out.

Speaker 3 (05:10):
See, you've fucked yourself now, because they're gonna want you
around all the time, going around today. Yeah, I'm going
up a ladder today. I like ladders. I've just been
told cleaning the gutters on the garages a two person job.
How have I been doing it by myself for fucking
ten years?

Speaker 1 (05:25):
Because to fucking nap, Because there's two gutters one side.
Aaron and I have cleaned together, Aaron doing the predominant cleaning.
So that would have been that would be perfection. You'd
be able to eat your dinner off that one and
the other side of you slap.

Speaker 4 (05:38):
Slop, slap on a bucket, slap on a bucket, and
then just go back later and hose down any slop.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
Well, that's fine, I'm happy for you to slap my
my slops.

Speaker 3 (05:47):
Got to slop until your Bookay that sounds rude, Yeah,
it does.
