sign him to big money and try to keep him.

the world m HM NFL that you have, Like they
didn't say Ross was an idiot, Well that's that's yeah,

it's kind of implied. There is precedence to say you
pay the quarterbacks. But they're like, if CJ is going
to have a history of missing time for concussions and
it's not just a sore shoulder or a twist and
ankle Ross, you know, concussions are so severe and that
can permanently impact how CJ then dictates the rest of

his career. When you get two concussions in your career,
you mean to tell me you step back on the
field and you don't think about that ever happening to
you again. Now, if you play scared, you're gonna be screwed.
I'm not saying that you don't do it. I don't
think he's gonna do that, but it's got to be
in the back of his mind. I don't think it's
going to affect his play unless it gets to a
severe level to where we were talking about to a

in baseball in a year from now, when the owners
lock out the players because they want to reinvent how

to the Houston Texans. This is what Jacksonville went through
a couple of years ago. This is what the Miami
did it with Tua. Kirk Cousins did it with several teams.

Are these owners and general managers because the value of
the quarterback is so astronomically more than the second best
player on your team? Are you pitcheonholing yourself into being like, Wow,
it's really cool to have this quarterback. And if he
shows any signs of deterioration or not being as good
as he was on day one, are you stuck?

The Chiefs got out there way early and took care
of Pat Mahomes. Maybe you do that, but then you're

one complaint about Alprin Shingoon, it would be a lot
of those easy bunnies and hook shots and put backs

gonna make some of those easy bunnies and hooks, which

we know he can make. He's very good with both hands,

of the burden, and that's the way that it's been,

that's the way that he's gone about his business. So
I'm okay with that. We'll see what happens with the Rockets.
But they're nine to three right now. If you look
at net rating, if you're not aware, it's something I
talk about a lot, especially in pre and post game shows.
It's basically points per possession offense minus defense. Generally the
best teams in basketball have the highest net rating. For example,
last year is a Thunder. Right now, it's the Thunder,

then it's the Nuggets, then it's the Houston Rockets. So
I think we're talking about that's gonna be your top
three in the West. Gut feeling. I gave it a
couple of weeks ago. I think I had the rocketss
top three in the West. I'm feeling confident in that
Oklahoma statey is gonna be one. I think the Rockets
are gonna be two and three, fighting it out with
the Denver Nuggets. But we're very early on in the season.

There's a lot of basketball left to be played, and
we'll see what they do where they go and they
can get even better, and then hopefully at some point
they will get even healthier, Reed Shepherd, I haven't even
mentioned with sixteen points in the last game, I've been
really impressed with them. I'm gonna be honest, and I
said this on air just between you and Mega, you
guys and me. I was a little skeptical of a

breakout of Reed Shepherd, but I did not write him
off because I've been around long enough. And what you
call it old, Jonathan, I've seen bad players, No thank you,
turned like I've seen. I don't even I like Clint
Capella was never a bad play, but if you look
at his progression throughout the years, players can get better.
Their bodies fill in, they get used to it, they

get more confident, and that's worse. That's why I never
write off somebody from one bad season, and Reed Shepherd
it was.

they were giving him, giving him time based on where
he was and where he was drafted.

three point shooter in the league. But I'm extremely encouraged
