Speaker 1 (00:00):
Thursdays at this time, we make some money on pro
and college football with our guy Lee Sterling from Paramount Sports.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
Check out ParamountSports.com. Hello, Lee.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
I'm good.

Speaker 4 (00:11):
Wasn't too excited about hearing that news about Lamar Jackson.

Speaker 3 (00:14):
I see you've got to rest him at least one
more week. Exactly. Yes.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
Yeah, just give him another week.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
In fact, tell him not even to come to the stadium.
Really just go and get away for a weekend.

Speaker 3 (00:24):
No, no, no. Put them in the box.

Speaker 4 (00:27):
Tell him he can eat all he wants, you know,
enjoy himself. Even maybe even a cocktail or two also.

Speaker 3 (00:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
Now you're, now you're speaking my language.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
All right.

Speaker 1 (00:35):
We'll get to that game in just a second. Let's
start though with homecoming Saturday at the university of Cincinnati.
Not a lot of times where homecoming features a team
coming in that's ranked in the top 10, but here
we are with Texas tech, a 10 and a half
point favorite against the Bearcats.

Speaker 4 (00:52):
Yeah, and Cincinnati's defense has not been good. But you
know what? They're not facing a real good offense here.
And Will Hammond, they have had trouble with dual-threat quarterbacks.
Will Hammond just 187 yards rushing this year on the road,

(01:12):
six touchdown passes, five interceptions here. So I know Texas Tech,
you know, is a top-ten team. You know, they score
38.8 points. Just don't let the defense, you know, have
to play on the field here with short fields. I
think that's the key here. So, yeah, Cincinnati's defense is

(01:34):
a problem. 132nd in opponents' yards per game. But I
have a feeling they're going to come to play. If
they were on the road, I'd be worried. I think
this game's going down to the wire. I think Tech
wins the game 31-24. I'm taking the double-digit points.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
All right, Lee Sterling with Paramount Sports. Let's go to
the NFL, the Seattle Seahawks with a rest advantage.

Speaker 2 (01:56):
Actually, not a rest advantage. Kansas City was off last.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
No, Kansas City played against the Chargers. What am I doing, Lee?
Seattle does have a rest advantage. My initial instinct was
the correct one, the Seahawks laying two and a half
against KC.

Speaker 4 (02:09):
And I think home field advantage is big here. I mean,
you see so many games where you go to Seattle
and three, four or five illegal procedures and, you know,
guys just lose their mind. And I think Kansas city actually.

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Has some problems here.

Speaker 4 (02:23):
I don't think they have a receiving core.

Speaker 3 (02:25):
That's going to do much damage on Seattle. So what
are they going to do?

Speaker 4 (02:29):
They're going to crowd the line and say, Patrick Mahomes is,
beat us here.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
So that's a real problem.

Speaker 4 (02:35):
I mean, they could score what 22 points last week
against the LA chargers who are handing the ball. So yeah,
I think Kenneth Walker is going to have trouble. We play,
we do player props here also at paramount sports and
had some incredible seasons, some incredible weeks so far this year,
Kenneth Walker, I like under 84 and a half rushing

(02:55):
yards in this game. I just think they're going to
bottle them up. They know what he likes to do
and a bad match up here for Casey. And also
Sam Darnold got to think that he's kicking, throwing two
or three interceptions, the game here. So at home, it's
a little bit easier to feel more comfortable. So I
think we're going to see the good Sam Darnold. I

(03:16):
like Seattle.

Speaker 3 (03:17):
I think they win this game 27, 20. All right.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
Handing Casey it's first loss. The Bengals go on the road,
slight dogs against Baltimore.

Speaker 4 (03:27):
Yeah, and it looks now, if we had to guess,
I mean, the line was two and a half, the Ravens.
Then it switched yesterday to the Bengals being a one-point favorite.
Now back to the Ravens, a one-and-a-half-point favorite. But I
don't think Lamar Jackson is even close to 100%. I
think he's going to play and try to gut it

(03:49):
out here.

Speaker 3 (03:49):
So I think they know.

Speaker 4 (03:52):
What they have to do. They've got to put pressure
on him. but the key is first and second downs.
They're going to try to run the football early and often,
and they do not want to put this game on
Lamar's shoulder here. So I think Baltimore can be had here.
So I would try to run the football also and
mix it up, maybe throw it on first, run it
on second, maybe do some hurry up here. But I

(04:15):
think Cincinnati's offensive.

Speaker 3 (04:16):
Line is going to have a big day here.

Speaker 4 (04:18):
Yep, third team is favored.

Speaker 3 (04:21):
Cincinnati straight up. Speaker 0 4 30 to 24. Speaker
1 4.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
Lee Sterling, my man paramount sports.com. Speaking, speaking my language.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
All right.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
Your game of the week is the one taking place tonight.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
Speaker 4 4 Yeah. Love this game here.

Speaker 4 (04:36):
And I think there's a clear right side winner bears
and Patriots.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
What a great.

Speaker 4 (04:40):
Thursday night game on paper. I think there's one clear
right side winner here. You want to get it for
free call 800-400-9741. Give you the bears and Patriots on me.

Speaker 3 (04:47):
And how about this? I came up with, I think,
one of the greatest ideas ever.

Speaker 4 (04:55):
I know there's people that subscribe to football. They also
subscribe maybe also for UFC, but not many other sports.
I'm going to put together what's called the Super 7.
Seven days of football selections, NBA basketball, hockey.

Speaker 3 (05:13):
Baseball in the World Series, UFC card. It's UFC from
Abu Dhabi. We have seven.

Speaker 4 (05:20):
Selections, including a 40 and a 50-unit max wager. We're
56 and 29 on these big plays in the UFC,
and also player props, college football, NFL, and the World Series.
Seven days, if you bought it individually, it'd be over $ 750,
just $ 157.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
How do you hop on board?

Speaker 4 (05:43):
Look for the Super 7, one place, ParamountSports.com.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
The Super 7, available at ParamountSports.com. Lee Sterling joins us
every single Thursday. Awesome as always, man. We'll talk next week.

Speaker 3 (05:55):
Okay. See you tomorrow.
