Speaker 1 (00:01):
It's twenty five from for This is ESPN fifteen thirty.
Im o Enger Sports headlines are a service of Kelsey Chevrolet,
home of lifetime powertrain protection and guaranteed credit approval from
their family to yours for life at kelseyshev dot com.
I don't think there's any major sports headlines here in
the greater Cincinnati area. Nobody has gotten hurt, nobody has

(00:23):
gotten traded. Joe Flacco is doing some throwing at Bengals
practice today Bengals and Steelers one o'clock Sunday Live on
ESPN fifteen thirty. Let's not make up other sports headlines
because our guy, Lee Sterling is waiting. Lee Sterling is
the greatest handicapper working in the United States of America.
His website is Paramount sports dot com. He's on Twitter

(00:44):
at Paramount Sports, and he joined us every single Thursday. Hi, Lee,
how are we doing?

Speaker 2 (00:49):
I'm doing good. I can't complain. So a lot of
close games last week. I don't think I've ever seen
more games, specially in college football, that ended on one
side a half a point either way or the other.
So blnes makers are pretty sharp these days.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
They are. I think this line is a little hefty.
I'm worried about this game you see hosting Arizona on
Saturday at noon. I worry about how the Bearcats played
against Utah. I worry about a slight look ahead factor
with BYU come into town. How do we feel about
the Bearcats being nearly a touchdown favorite against the Wildcats.

Speaker 2 (01:27):
And you're right, I think that Arizona is more dangerous
as an underdog. I mean they had to come back,
I mean a last second drive to come back to
win that game last week. And they're a team that
the only thing that has me on pause and maybe
releasing it to my clients is they are in their
sixth win beating Kansas last week to achieve bull eligibility.

(01:50):
They just seem like the urgency sometimes isn't there. So
they usually play down to the level of their competition
when they're the favorite, play up when they're the underdog.
And I do think that the look ahead factor is
going to be there a little bit for Cincinnati. So
Cincinnati has a couple guys. The running back Bodie Dangerous
to transfer from Texas State. They just don't run him enough.

(02:13):
Sometimes I think Cincinnati wins the game, but it's going
to be close here, something like thirty three thirty one.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Right, Well, I'll take the victory. I understand what you're
doing with the points. Let's talk about the NFL. We've
got a couple of AFC North games. Baltimore rolling right now,
three straight wins. The defense has turned it around. Heavy
favorites against the Browns.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
Yeah, and I think that the Browns have got a
problem because they can't stretch the defenses here. So until
Dylan Gabriel can push the ball down the field, they're
going to load the box here. Jets, Wow, what did
they do last week? They traded their top two defensive
players for that, and Brown's only averaged four yards not

(02:58):
per carry, four yards per play. Browns already lost forty
one to seventeen to the Ravens. These are, you know, game,
second game in a series here, and you would think
that the underdog would have the psychological edge, know what
they're gonna do. But I think Baltimore is just getting
better and better. Look out here, the four and five
Ravens is going to be a five hundred. I think
they win this game here thirty four to eighteen.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
Yeah, and odds on favorites to win the AFC North
after starting one in five. Lee Sterling is where this
Paramount sports dot com. All right, the Bengals have beaten
the Steelers once. Now they go to Pittsburgh as five
and a half point dogs. What do we think about Sunday?

Speaker 2 (03:35):
Yeah, you know, if Joe Flacco can go, playing through
that spained ac joint here in his shoulder makes him
even more fragile than your average forty year old quarterback
playing well, But the team is one and three in
the starts now sole win and cover coming against du Steelers,
and you know, usually the second game in the series,
team that lost the first game has that edge here.

(03:56):
They know what to expect here. I just don't expect
to strike twice here. So, uh, Steelers losing as he
did to the Chargers should serve as a wake up call.
They're one of these teams, are mediocre, middle of the road,
and they win one week and they lose one week.
Aaron Rodgers some of the worst football I've seen him
play since he came into the NFL. Here and what's

(04:18):
going on with Chamar's Stewart. This could be if he
didn't get a sack eleven straight games. I mean, he
is a dog here, and I'm not talking about a
junkyard dog, a sleeping dog. I like Pittsburgh here twenty
eight to twenty.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
Well, and add to that the fact that he's been
doubtful all. I don't know that Chamar is going to
be sacking anybody anytime soon. Let's talk about your talk
about your game of the week, big battle in the
AFC West. This feels like a must win for Casey
Chiefs and three and a half point favorites against Denver.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
YEP, they want to get this game for free? Just
call eight hundred, four hundred nine to seven, four to one.
Again the number, eight hundred four hundred nine to seven,
four to one. Give you the game for free. I
love one side of this great game, the Chiefs and Broncos.
What a schedule we have going on NFL games, other
great games, the Rams in Seattle, Philly, in Detroit. Uh,

(05:10):
you want to get this game. Be one of the
first five callers eight hundred four hundred nine seven four
to one. And how about this. We are now thirty
one and nine in the NFL last eight weeks. You
can get what's called Lee's NFL Sunday Golden ticket five
selections every single Sunday for four weeks, just one hundred

Speaker 1 (05:32):

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
