Speaker 1 (00:00):
Chubby and Nina De Rio and for Christine producer Kristen
Light FM. So it's that time again, Time for the
Great French fry Debate. I feel like this comes up
at least once a year. Specifically, who has the best
fast food fries? According to a new nationwide ranking from
Seating Masters based on more than forty thousand yelp reviews,

(00:21):
the title goes to In and Out Burger. The California
based chain scored the highest points for their fresh cut fries,
which are made in store daily. So number one In
and Out Burger, number two, Shake Shack, number three, Freddy's
Frozen Custard and Steakburgers. I went to my first Freddy's
last year. I loved it. Oh Bojangles at number four,

(00:42):
Chick fil A number five, Raising Canes, Number six, Zaxby's
I never heard of Zaxby's.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
They're around.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
Never be the ax Bys. Zaxby's, RB's at number eight,
Harty's number nine, Checkers Slash Rallies. I guess they're kind
of the same. They're number ten or Checkers and Rallies
tied for ten. It says Checkers slash Rallies.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
I think they're two different things.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
Yeah, but I guess they're tied for ten. But anything missing?
Are you noticing one particular restaurant missing?

Speaker 2 (01:14):
For sure? For fast food fries fries McDonald.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
McDonald's at the bottom of the list KFC, followed by
McDonald's and Burger King. That's that's I mean, I thought
McDonalds would be in the top five.

Speaker 2 (01:25):
When you get them hot, they're really really good.

Speaker 1 (01:27):
I agree.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
The list says best fast food fries and right in
an out Burger though, scored the top because it's considered
fresh cut fries. Do you think that's why McDonald's is.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
There's gotta be a reason, right, There's gotta be And
I like all these fries. I mean I never had,
like I said, Zaxby's. But I know, Christian, you're not
a fan of the Chick fil A fries, but I
like the waffle fries.

Speaker 3 (01:49):
Yeah. Yeah, Chick fil A in general, I think, I
don't know why, but not a fan, but yeah, it's different.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
Right, they're waffle fries. Yeah, huh okay. I like a
sweet potato fry. Oh oh.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
Trying to be healthy. Every time I eat a swoopsinn
A fry, I'm like, well, at least it's somewhat healthy.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
It feels it feels less bad. Who knows who it is,
It just feels a little less bad.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
I do want to clarify one thing. Checkers and Rallies
are the same restaurant.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
They are the same. Okay, So if you see a
Rallies and then five miles down the road you see
a Checkers, you're going to the same thing.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
Huh, what's the difference? We don't know the difference, right,
I don't know. I don't know. Five dollars dollars.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
A couple of bucks difference, I don't know. And by
the way, one life hack I learned. I don't know
if this is true or not, but if you want
fresh McDonald's fries, you know, maybe you're fearful you're gonna
get some that have been under the light for too long.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
I heard. If you at the drive through, if you
ask for fries with no salt.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Oh, apparently they have to make those.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
They have to make those separately, and that will get
you fresh fries. Don't know if that's true. I think
I saw it on TikTok or something. But if it's true,
let me know.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
And then you put your own salt on because they
need salt.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
And then you put your own salt on, right, or
no salt at all if you just can't do salt,
but if you ask for no salt fries apparently rumor
has it that they have to make a new batch,
and then you get that batch and it's fresh, but
in your mind, your favorite fast food fries are hit
us up at four four three, six three, Cobby and
Christine back in a moment on one oh six point seven,

(03:17):
light at them.
