Speaker 1 (00:00):
Six oh eight on this Friday, June thirteenth, Cubby and
Nina del Rio and for Christine producer Kristen. We'll talk
a lot about Friday the thirteenth today. In fact, there
some special deals going on we'll get into. Oh, I
feel like Krispy Kreme is always doing something, and they
have a deal going on today. We'll tay all about
that a little bit later.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Good for them giving away more donuts. That's some good
luck right there, not bad luck, right, that's solid.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
Hey, how are you feeling, Nina, Because almost every night
your home and in bed by nine like we are.
But you had an event last night.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
I went to my eyes are a little tired. I
went to go see the opening of I Call Me
Izzy on Broadway with Jeane Smart, which was a great show.
By the way, my eyes are a little tired. Got
home at eleven. It wasn't so bad. My friend Sarah,
Thank you Sarah, who hooked me up. We went to
the opening and then we went to the after party.
I never been to a Broadway after party. Oh, it
seemed like everybody who went to the theater, which is

(00:49):
Studio fifty four, it's huge, was at the after party.
After party was everybody. It was at a hotel on
thirty fifth Street on the rooftop rooftop bar nice and
they had catering and like pastors, they had a band
play and that was pretty good. They played some like
Doobie Brothers and stuff like that. I don't know what
they had to do with the play, but uh, it was.
It was a really nice time. Thank god for nice weather.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
Yeah you got there, didn't you get there early to
like do some red carpet watching.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
Yeah, Sarah wanted to get there early to see some
famous people. We really only only saw I saw like
two or three people. I recognized a couple of people
from the cast of English. I saw if anybody watched
mad Men, I saw Brian Batt, who played sal On
mad Men. That was kind of it. But uh, yeah,
we didn't. We didn't get to do the red carpet.
We just like shuttled up to the balcony.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
It sounds to me, if you didn't have the show
today you be at the after party still might have
might have I can tell yeah, yeah, but you got
out there kind of you got out kind of early.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
I got out on time to do this show. I
came back for you. Thank everybody here. We love you. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
And while you were having fun, Christain and I were
we were just talking off the air. We were putting
our kids to bed. It was a very hellish night.
It was a hellish night.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
Both of our kid I mean, Miles and Naomi, they
were you know, they were good, but they had their
moments where they were in a mood. And I was
all by them myself because Coco and my wife had
a night out with the girls. Oh, so I was
watching both kids, and it's always I'm like the substitute
teacher with them. I think I'm the good cop and
mom's the bad cop. I think that's why you're the
nice one. Yeah, so they walk all over me. But
I had I had to yell a couple of times,

(02:15):
which is unlike me. Oh, I try. I try to
avoid yelling, but when when I yell, you know, that
comes across.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
When nice Dad's yell. Though, it's very scary, right, like, yeah,
tipped dad over.

Speaker 1 (02:25):
I still don't do it very much, but that's sometimes
the only way to get their attention. Kristin, how are
you feeling, because you had a rough night too. I
did well.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
Friday the thirteen started early. Yeah, the kids were just
they were in a mood that maybe it was the
full moon the night before. Here's something with that, Like
your four year old was like, you know, doude, Yeah,
you know, we're day two, this is technically day three
of summer break, and it's that it's not going well.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
So four guys, I don't.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
Know if I'm gonna make it back in school. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (02:56):
We were having dinner last night and and and had
chicken nuggets for nail me and she bit in. I said,
I you gotta finish your dinner and she bit into
her nugget and just said finished. Like that. That kind
of stuff was going on last night. So yeah, but
we ended on a good note, so you put the
exactly all right. We got three pretty cool things coming
