Speaker 1 (00:00):
Give me a new sharpie. I'll smell it all day
one of sixty seven Light FM Cubby Nina and for
Christine and producer Christen. And that's our question we're throwing
out here. What is a smell you secretly love but
just can't explain it? We were seeing this on Reddit
and I really could talk about this for ten minutes.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Here's the sharpies, sharpies.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
But there's so many other things we remember. The days
of white out.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
Yeah, oh I love.

Speaker 1 (00:25):
The smell of white out. I'm sure it wasn't good
to sniff it, but man, do I love it?

Speaker 2 (00:29):
Were the Xerox things when they came to class and
they were warm and they just.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
The purple ditto, they were a little damp. Great, great, nice?
Give us a text at four four three six three?
What smell do you oddly like? Can't really explain?

Speaker 1 (00:43):
Somebody on Reddit, by the way, I want to go
to Kristin wrote the stinky water on Pirates of the Caribbean.

Speaker 4 (00:50):
Yeah, that's my favorite scent, my favorite disneyme. Oh my goodness, yes, what.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
Is it about the water? I don't know what it is.
It's very hard to explain too.

Speaker 4 (00:59):
It's almost like a like a smoky smell but also
has like a hint of like sweetness to it.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
They use they put something in there's not chlorine.

Speaker 4 (01:09):
Yes, it's like, oh my gosh, like bromine.

Speaker 1 (01:13):
I think it is that.

Speaker 4 (01:14):
That's what you call it.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
Okay, it's like that chemicals like a hot tub smell.

Speaker 4 (01:18):
No, it's better than that.

Speaker 2 (01:19):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
Is it like soment?

Speaker 4 (01:21):
Oh kind of.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
That's a really good smell, that ozone smell. Yeah, they
sell candles.

Speaker 4 (01:28):
I have one that smells like the water.

Speaker 1 (01:31):
They know what they're doing then, yes, like they're trying
to actually make it smell appealing.

Speaker 4 (01:35):
Well, Disney pipes the sense through anywhere you go.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
They know what they're that's interesting.

Speaker 1 (01:39):
Like a casino.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
Yeah, they want to keep you there longer, so they
keep there's no windows and they put a smell in there, right.

Speaker 1 (01:44):
Yeah, how about you, Nina?

Speaker 2 (01:46):
I like the ozone smell of the pavement for sure.
I used to like the glue smell, Like you know,
kids would eat the glue in school. I didn't like
to eat the glue, but I like the glue smell.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
Elmer's glue and rubber cement.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
Rubber cement smelled really good. Yeah, I like the smell
of a pipe to a pipe. It smell smells sign
kind of sweet and like an old folks house smells.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
People are already texting in and we get this a lot.
The smell of gasoline and an old parking garage. The
smell of a brand new textbook. Oh, when I got
a new textbook back in high school or whatever. You
open up, you sniffed it right in the middle.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
Smells so good.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
Someone said. The smell of a basement. Uh, don't know why.
It's just always been a favorite smell of Mine's kind
of a musty basement along with the gasoline smell. Someone
likes that when it when it kind of like mixes
in with just an old garage smell. When you go
into an old garage and you also have a hint
of gasoline.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
Yeah, it smells like oil and pavement and dust.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
Another text here from three four seven. I love the
smell of chlorox.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
Oh, well, don't sniff that.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
You don't do that too much.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
Keep away from that, Okay.

Speaker 3 (02:54):
Somebody texted in crayons that waxy smell.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
Somebody said, I can't explain it, but I love the
smell of a skunk.

Speaker 2 (03:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (03:02):
Good, for you.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
Yeah, and here's my final one, and then we'll keep
the texting going. Do you like plastic smells? Depends on
the plastic, Like you buy a new shower curtain, and
it's like it's something about the new plastic smell that
I really like.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
The off gas, maybe the cancer coming off there.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
Fresh cut grass. The texts keep coming in, keep hitting
