deadly helicopter crash. It happened last night in Houston's Second
Ward just before eight pm, A private touring helicopter crash
into a rate tower, killing all four people on board,

(02:02):
including a child.

Speaker 6 (02:05):
Houston, literally a block away were the first responders knew

the DPS, the federal government, Houston Fire Police are doing
their job.

Speaker 5 (02:18):

Speaker 5 (02:52):
And that's just based on what she's heard around her neighborhood.

Speaker 8 (02:55):
They're really excited to get out and vote. They're wanting
to contact me about.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
Where to go early vote.

Speaker 8 (03:01):
They want to get it.

Speaker 5 (03:02):
Done as soon as possible.

Speaker 7 (03:04):
Polls are open until seven pm. Early voting runs through
November first, and remember you need your photo ID to vote.
Cliff Saunders News Radio seven forty KTRH.

Speaker 5 (03:13):
Meantime, millions of Americans have already cast their ballots. Early
voting has been underway in many states. As of Sunday
morning yesterday, only over thirteen million voters have cast ballots,
either in person or by mail. More than forty one
million mail in and early person votes have been requested
nationally fifteen days until election Day. Donald Trump seizing huge

(03:36):
crowds in the battleground state of Pennsylvania. At the Steelers
Jets game in Pittsburgh, the stadium erupted in chance of USA. Earlier,
he drew hundreds lining the streets at a neighborhood McDonald's
just outside Philadelphia, where he talked fries with employees frying
and serving up containers himself.

Speaker 9 (03:56):
Frank Vince talk.

Speaker 10 (03:57):
So for our first word that is going out the window,
We're gonna need three medium fries. So would you like
to add put the media prize in the bag.

Speaker 11 (04:04):
I think.

Speaker 5 (04:06):
She was a little nervous there. He worked the drive
of window two, giving out meals, telling folks it's quote
compliments of Trump. Earlier, at the town hall with some
eight thousand supporters, Trump drew the endorsement of three union
locals representing steel workers who gifted him with a hard
hat and he messed up his Harry put it on.

(04:28):
VP Kamala Harris mocked a couple of pro life protesters
at whatever rallies in Wisconsin. She was speaking to a
crowd of about three thousand, mostly pro abortion supporters when
the two protesters shouted Christ is Lord, Jesus is King.
Harris said, oh, you guys are at the wrong rally
the right. Vice President will make stops in three so

(04:49):
called blue Wall states on today with former Republican Congresswoman
Liz Cheney for what's being called a moderated conversation, kind
of like that at Jay six Committee. Democrats trying to
lock down power by putting in place a new rule
right now to make it harder for conservatives to file
appeals with friendly federal judges and courts, you know, like

(05:12):
the Democrats do.

Speaker 12 (05:14):
One of the things I know about the left, they're
not going to let up. They're in a titanic battle
to control this country and to shove conservatives to the side.

Speaker 5 (05:23):
Gary Pollin with a Texas Conservative Review, He says it
shows Democrats are starting to get a little nervous about
Harris's chances, so they're preparing for another four years of
lawfare to keep Trump from being effective. US investigating the
leak of two top secret documents that showed apparently American

(05:44):
intel is recording possible Israeli plans for carrying out an
attack on Iran. Two US officials say those leak documents
look real, but that national security damage has been confined.
It is now five oh six, so called scientists now
predicting a cooler than average oncoming La Nina climate for US. Well,

(06:04):
how does that fit with their planet heating up narrative?

Speaker 13 (06:09):
Shara mark Morano with the Climate Depot says, this is
just more of the climate hoax.

Speaker 14 (06:15):
This is a campaign cause doesn't really matter what's true
and what's not. It's supposed to be science, but this
is about a narrative and it's about activists.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
And what about the narrative of warming oceans.

Speaker 14 (06:26):
The claims that they're claiming for record heat in the
oceans are a temperature change of three and a half
thousands of one degree. They're not even measurable in real
world data.

Speaker 13 (06:36):
The reality is the climate change narrative is melting. Jeff
Biggs News Radio seven forty kh.

Speaker 5 (06:44):
We've got the growth of artificial intelligence. It's a boon
apparently for progress in the economy, but a major drag
on the power grid. Microsoft already warning it's AI data
centers are just about out a power. AI consultant Matt
Rosen says the industry's going to have to look for
new sources.

Speaker 15 (07:02):
Microsoft is bought in the old Three Mile Islands. They're
bringing nuclear plants back online, so I think you're going
to see nuclear power make a comeback. So it's really
pulling on a lot of different levers, from more energy production,
the more efficient energy usage.

Speaker 5 (07:14):
He says, companies are going to have to get faster microchips,
which they will in smaller data centers in the future
in order to advance the technology. Texas came up short
in Green Bay Sunday. Yeah, in the last second of
the game. They fell to the Packers with a field
goal twenty four to twenty two. The five to two
Texas now will host the four to three Indianapolis Colds

(07:35):
at Energy this Sunday at noon. I'm Sheber Fryer on
news radio seven forty KTRH.

Speaker 2 (07:42):
You like free stuff, We all like free stuff.

Speaker 3 (07:46):
Guess what our iHeartRadio app is free and free never.

Speaker 2 (07:51):
Sounded so good. Five o eight is our time here
in Houston's warning news. USPS has reached a tentative agreement
with the mail carrier union. They haven't had a contract
since May of twenty twenty three. By the way, they
don't get paid a bunch mail carriers. Average Texas mail
carrier makes about thirty seven thousand dollars a year.

Speaker 5 (08:12):
Yeah, I think that union has about two hundred thousand employees. Yes,
but also they take care of retirees too, So I.

Speaker 2 (08:20):
Mean, yeah, that's where the big expense.

Speaker 5 (08:22):
Where the money is. But I mean there's seven unions,
five hundred thousand US Postal workers overall being represented by
seven different unions.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
We privatize, this is a big one. Yeah, if we privatize,
we could really find that hurd good way anyway, that
aside here, I mean, this is not a this is
not a big raise. In fact, it's interesting to me
what the most important thing in this was. Uh, the
carriers will get three one point three percent raises, two
of them will be applied retroactively. They've been negotiating for

(08:52):
almost twenty months. Contract covers city mail carriers as to
be ratified by union members of a deadline for the
vote by mail process. In that ironic vote by mail
on the mail carrier union was not announced. The most
important non salary item, what do you suppose that was
for the mail carriers? Give you a clute? Has something

(09:14):
to do with the delivery vehicles that they use. They're
number one reform. Yeah, the number one requirement going forward
must have a c All the new ones do. But
if you if they want to get them to use
a vehicle without air conditioning, they have to renegotiate with
the union to do it. I don't blame them for that.

(09:35):
You're out there at the Texas heat in Texas all
summer long.

Speaker 5 (09:39):
Do those vehicles have heat in the wine?

Speaker 2 (09:42):
I think they do if it's working. I mean, some
of those some of those old you know, mail carrier
I don't know what they call them, you know, I'm
sure the special name for the vehicles that kind of
look a little leg a g.

Speaker 5 (09:52):
It's rare though, I mean, at least in my neighborhood.
I rarely see one broken down. I mean it's been
it's been years since somebody had to say, yeah, I've
seen to haul off a postal.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
I've seen a feel in the back of a tow truck,
but I've never seen them broken down in the libbhood.

Speaker 5 (10:07):
They must maintain the.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
I think I think they were made to last. I
think they know. You can't say you didn't get your
money's worth out of them. But the new ones are
all going to have AC five eleven time for traffic
and whether yet used to driving on the wrong tree.
I'm buried. Hold on, we're buried under an avalanche of traffic. Sounder, No,
it happens.

Speaker 5 (10:27):
That's all right, We're good, all right, let's go.

Speaker 4 (10:30):
First of all, we cleared that roadwork on two twenty five.

Speaker 2 (10:33):
You know I probably needed that. Here's a shovel.

Speaker 4 (10:35):
Dig yourself out two twenty five inbound at six ' ten.
That road work is finished out from the weekend. They
picked all that business up, so don't worry. You're going
you all the way on the working side this morning.
Also on the East tex northbound at six ' ten
the ramp they had, remember that wreck we had about
a week ago where the truck had that big tanker
thing that was hanging over. They had to fix the

(10:57):
rail and the wall and all that. It looks like
we're done. I don't know if they're going to do
any more of that. We'll of course keep you abreast here.
Let's go downtown.

Speaker 2 (11:04):
What up, dude, guy Mike Old broken down semi as
a dark bowl ramp and I four five and I kid,
all right, that's that curve where everybody freaks out.

Speaker 4 (11:15):
We'll assume that gets some exact lineage had seven at
five twenty.

Speaker 2 (11:18):
Do you have time for Northwest?

Speaker 8 (11:19):

Speaker 16 (11:20):

(11:58):
of the same, only a little bit warmer.

Speaker 5 (12:01):
Oh my goodness, it's like summer is back. Not so
much today.

Speaker 17 (12:06):
Well, listen, we are sunny and dry all week long,
and the temperatures are going to warm up. Today will
be very similar to yesterday, in the low to mid eighties,
and that's close to what the temperatures usually are here
in this part of October. But then we get a
little bit of a southeasterly breeze, so a little more heat,

(12:26):
little more humidity. Mid to upper eighties Tomorrow, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.

Speaker 5 (12:32):
I went looking for some rain. We're gonna have to
wait till sometime next week for some rain.

Speaker 2 (12:36):
I'm here in Halloween. Is that true?

Speaker 5 (12:38):
Yeah, somewhere right like just before Halloween shows that.

Speaker 3 (12:47):
It's Houston's morning News, brought to you by New South
Windows Solutions. Now back to Jimmy and Scherah with the
info you need to.

Speaker 2 (12:56):
Take on the day, five nineteen. Now Here in Houston's
Warning News, we have another recall for this steria Serrah
frozen waffles. This time frozen waffles. Here's what I figured
out too about food supply. The food supply reminds me
of where we're at with appliances. It doesn't matter what
the brand name is on the appliance. You don't know

(13:18):
who made it. A lot of the appliances are all
made by the same company, they just slap a different
name on it. Evidently, most of the frozen waffles made
in America actually come from Canada, and they're all coming
from the same manufacturer. They just slap a different name
on them. Food Lion, Great Value, HB Higher, Heart of
His Publics. The list goes on and on and on

(13:41):
of these brands that are all impacted by this frozen
waffle sold at Public's, Target, Walmart, and many other stores
for listeria comes out of a manufacturing facility in Brantford, Ontario, Canada.
FDA said as recall alert says that it contaminated with
Listeria A can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in

(14:02):
young children, frail, or elderly people. So if you have
frozen waffles in your freezer, check and make sure that
they're not on this list. Five twenty time for traffic
and weather together at what up, Sky Mike, Let go
my e go that's not on the list.

Speaker 4 (14:18):
Oh okay, we're looking at you know what. Put on
your hard hat here and we're going to the east side.
Let's check out this problem. Got some kind of road construction.
This is on six to ten East coming down from
the truck stops at Wallaceville. That ramp that takes you
to iten to Baytown. They're doing some kind of roadwork.
Don't get stuck in that mess. What should you do?
You know what you should do? Get off at wayside

(14:40):
and then take your roll your way in and you
can get around that business, especially if you're a big
old eight team wheeler or your hazardous I'm Skymichael the

Speaker 2 (16:06):
Headquarters is Youth Radio seven ktrh. By twenty two. Sorry,
time I beg to differ, sir. The former president and
perhaps the next president of the United States did work
at McDonald's, although he did not accept any pay. Now
he did. He not accept any pay for working his
shift at McDonald's making fries, but he also picked up

(16:29):
the tab for the McDonald's that was being served. One
of the reasons I think is because he contaminated the
fries with extra salt, because he likes some salty. No surprise,
he put some extra salt on the fries. But they
taught him how to make the fries, how to bag
the fries, and then of course serve some fries up

(16:51):
at the drive through window to some of his fans
who were there to get a little something ease.

Speaker 5 (16:56):
They were lined up down the street once.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
They found out, once they found out he was there,
they sure were. Here's here's a little sound from President
Trump working at McDonald's.

Speaker 10 (17:07):
So for our first word that going out the window,
we're gonna need three media fries. So would you like
to put the media prize in the bag?

Speaker 18 (17:14):
I think so yeah, we'll do that because you know
who's taking these right mine. Do they ever ask for
more salt? Supposing we want some extra salt? Can we
just go like that?

Speaker 2 (17:25):
We will give them salt, paggas.

Speaker 18 (17:29):
I love salt. Wait a minute, I spilled some. I'm
very superstitious. It's over the left. Should and now I'm okay,
let's go.

Speaker 19 (17:38):
All right, yeah, start from this side.

Speaker 20 (17:45):
Okay, put him in standing up right correct, you know
Joe expert of this. Huh yes, how long have you
done done this?

Speaker 21 (17:54):
How long have you done effort?

Speaker 20 (17:57):
Ten plus one of all different jobs.

Speaker 18 (18:00):
She's doing a good job, excell she better right, she's beautiful.

How many?

Speaker 5 (18:12):
How many would you put in a bag like this?

Speaker 3 (18:14):
Like six?

Speaker 2 (18:15):
You fine?

Then he goes to a rally with a bunch of
steel workers and they give him he's got a suit
back all together. He didn't have his apron there, but
they give him a hard hat. They want him to
put the hard hat on. Drink and I'll pose with.

Speaker 2 (20:00):
For it, right, I thought, man, just don't take it off.

Speaker 5 (20:03):
Takes some tips from Milania on modeling.

Speaker 2 (20:06):
Okay, if you're gonna put the hat on, though with
that with the hair that the Trump asked, do not
take the hat off because you know it's not going
to be in the same position as it was when

a Texas House committee today. Robert Roberson was convicted of
killing his two year old daughter in two thousand and

(23:20):
two and would have become the first person executed for
a death resulting from shaken baby syndrome. After attempts to
stop his execution were shut down, there was a group
of Texas lawmakers who subpoened him to testify about his case.
Back and forth it went all the way to the
State Supreme Court at testimony today. State and federal investigators

(23:41):
are still on the scene of a deadly helicopter crash
in Houston's Second Ward last night as a private touring
helicopter out of Ellington Field. It hit a radio tower
just before eight last night, and it killed all four
people on board, including a child. No one on the
ground was injured. The lights on the radio tower were
reported out last year. Week a seventy year old woman

(24:02):
grazed by a bullet sitting in her home in northeast
Harris County, ed Gonzalez's sheriff said it seems to be
random gunfire. The woman was not targeted. She was taken
to the hospital said to be in good condition. And
early voting starts today in Texas for the November fifth election.
Record numbers at Texans registered to vote this time around.
Jane Nelson, the Secretary of State, says more than eighteen million,

(24:25):
six hundred thousand Texas have registered to cast ballots, a
million more than in November of twenty twenty two. It's
an increase of five percent. Donald Trump participating in a
town hall in Lancaster, Pennsylvania yesterday and vowed to ensure
two things for this country.

Speaker 20 (24:42):
We need strong borders. We need great elections. If we
don't have great elections and strong borders, then we don't
have a country.

Speaker 5 (24:49):
A new poll from Atlas Intel showing Trump leading Harris
fifty one forty eight percent in five key swing states.
A group of Democrats in Congress sent a letters of
the largest US companies asking them to hold on to
their DEI programs, you know, diversity Equity Inclusion Shara.

Speaker 13 (25:08):
Basically, they don't want DEI to die.

Speaker 22 (25:12):
Absolutely ridiculous. It is once again proving that the Congressional
Democrats do not understand what the oaths they took to
the American people or their job actually is.

Speaker 13 (25:22):
That's political commentator Raven Harrison, who says the Dems like
to make up the rules except for themselves.

Speaker 22 (25:30):
Why don't we talk about AOC being in Congress for
seven years and being worth twenty nine million dollars on
a salary of one hundred and fifty five thousand a year.

Speaker 13 (25:38):
The move comes after several major corporations announced they are
scrapping Dei, Chuff Biggs News Radio seven forty kt.

Speaker 5 (25:48):
H Well Texas, A and M's continuing ins Awoke and
is now offering a new course connecting gender and race
to societal inequalities. Conservative active as Christian Collins says this
marksism is central to the Democrat plan to radicalize the
next generation.

Speaker 29 (26:05):
This is the time to reach them and the Democrats,
the far left. They're doing an excellent job of infiltrating
our universities and doing exactly what they're doing with their
young people, because that's going to change our country for
a generation.

Speaker 5 (26:20):
He says, parents better thank hard before spending their money
on colleges and university educations. Shouldn't come as any surprise
to any of us. According to a new gallupol a
third of all Americans don't trust mainstream media at all.

Speaker 30 (26:37):
That's probably because they aren't even trying to hide their
left wing bias anymore.

Speaker 31 (26:41):
It's not particularly surprising. We still see evidence of it
all the time right now. I mean, you have CBS
editing a sixty minutes interview to make Kamala Harris look better.

Speaker 30 (26:50):
Jeff McCall with DePaul University told KGOH, this is leading
to many people just tuning out completely.

Speaker 31 (26:55):
Which I guess is fine that if the news is
going to be biased, But on the other hand, then
we have a lot of Americans who really don't even
want to become informed about the issues of the day.

Speaker 30 (27:04):
Unsurprisingly, Gallip reports that fifty four percent of Democrats still
have a great deal of trust in the media. Ethan
beginning news Radio seven forty ke tr each looking at
our money five thirty six.

Speaker 5 (27:14):
Now, healthcare premiums have risen twenty percent just this year.
The Biden Harris regime is accused now of trying to
disguise what's coming next year by siphoning money from the
Medicare trust The.

Speaker 32 (27:30):
Biden Harris administration saw this trend in premiums up by
double digits. They launched a demo which took money out
of the Medicare Trust Fund and gave it to health
insurance plans to buy down some of the premium increase.

Speaker 5 (27:47):
Yeah, gave it to the insurance companies. Republicans Strategist CEO
of Horizon Government Affairs Joel White. He says the plan
didn't work as premiums they are going to be going
up again next year, you know, right after the alle
action by about twenty three percent. Oh yeah. Another effect
of that Biden here is economy. More Americans underwater on

(28:08):
their car loans. Ivan Drury with Edmunds says, they're being
forced to come to different terms.

Speaker 33 (28:14):
Now, if you have a negative equity, average APR is
closer to eight percent, muntly payment eight hundred and ninety
four dollars, terms closer to seventy six months, So you
can see how this dramatically changes your layout.

Speaker 5 (28:28):
Seventy six average amount ode on upside down loans now
an all time high of over sixty four hundred dollars.
The game, well, it's changed leads seven times yesterday and
in the last second or so, the Texas lost to
Green Bay twenty four to twenty two. It was the
last second field goal by the Packers. They fell fall

(28:50):
now to five and two. Ready for this Sunday's matchup
at home against Indianapolis. I'm Sherby Friar on News Radio
seven forty KTRH.

Speaker 2 (29:02):
Fight Fight, Fight.

Speaker 1 (29:03):
This is where you get the very latest the presidential
election Youth Radio.

Speaker 2 (29:07):
Seven k t r H. It's five point thirty eight
now here in Houston's Born News. Early voting starts today.
I think we're going today, so I'll have a report
for you tomorrow. How busy it was where I am?
I'm I'll be voting at Lone Star College, which is
we're in uh. I think it's in the Woodlands technically,
kind of that borderline between tom Ball and the Woodlands

(29:30):
right around Kirkandall.

Speaker 8 (29:32):
You don't have to.

Speaker 5 (29:32):
Vote in your neighborhood. You can vote at any poll
that's open.

Speaker 2 (29:35):
I think that's where we'd only vote anyway.

Speaker 5 (29:37):
Yeah, you know, you can vote anywhere in Harris County.

Speaker 2 (29:38):
But here's one of the things I was wondering, because
you know, one of the areas where I pride myself on.

Speaker 5 (29:43):
If you're a Harris County resident, other y you vote
in another one.

Speaker 2 (29:46):
Yeah. One of one of the areas I was concerned
about though going into this is that is the is
the judicial races, because they don't they don't really tell
you who the Republicans are and who the Democrats are.

Speaker 5 (29:58):
Oh, there's a bunch where it's just Democrat. I look
at the sample ballot. No, they do tell you Democrat
and Republican at least on the sample ballot.

Speaker 2 (30:05):
Well that's good to hear, ye In case you don't
know who some of these people are though, if you
go to the Harris County GOP website here's kind of
Republican party website, they will list for you all the
judges that are running and what district and what seat
they're in. So if you want to go ahead and
fill that out ahead of time or have that handy
with you, you can take that with you. You can take

(30:27):
a sample ballot with you that's already filled out, so
you know exactly how it is you want to vote.
You know, if you're not planning to vote either a
straight party or you're not sure what the deal is
with the judges, and that's something that can come in
kind of handy. Among the things you cannot bring, however, Well,
first of all, let's do this. You have to bring
an ID. Yes, you have to show that you who

(30:49):
are you are who you say you are to vote
here in Texas, they would prefer if you bring a
registration card. But to be honest with you, I've never
been asked for one vote a registration card. So they
normally if you have like a either a driver's license,
passport or military idea, that's enough. You can bring a
sample ballot. As I said, you cannot bring a gun.

(31:11):
You cannot you cannot use your cell phone at any
point in time.

Speaker 5 (31:16):
You can't electioneer, You can't try to tell other people
what you do.

Speaker 2 (31:19):
Right. If you and if you bring somebody with you
for whatever reason, they that person is going to have
to test the fact that they did not unduly influence
you or your decisions or they're not voting on your behalf.
In order for you to have somebody with you, and
that's the rules. Polls open. I have to look up
the hours here seven am, seven am to what's six, no,

(31:41):
seven to seven throughout early proud early voting. Okay, good,
Why you chances to get out there and do it?
Five forty one? Traffic and weather together. Can you bring
your dog? I don't think you can bring your dogs.
Put about your slinking. I don't know what they would
do with a slinky, but you would stand the risk
of it having it confiscated, and I know you don't
want to help kill it.

Speaker 4 (32:00):
I can't live without my slinky. Let's go to the
Katie Freeway side of the world. Bizer's check your drive
on the way in as well. We're coming in from
Seeley and coming in from Katie. We're in good shape
here Grhanam park Way. Nothing doing to the belt to
the loop rock and along and inside the loop. You're
making an easy cruise around the President's Heads for now.
On the north Belt eastbound Imperial Valley. That's road construction

(32:24):
where it's kind of a lifestyle. It's going to be
around for a while. Left lane on the eastbound Imperial
Valley and north Sam on the westbound at all the Westfield.
We're missing two left lanes here. Let's check out I
forty five north. I got Aiden from the Woodlands.

Speaker 19 (32:38):

Intoun from Belwait Grandpagway.

Speaker 27 (32:43):
It's free clear, all right.

Speaker 4 (32:45):
Get this banana sticker here, Aiden, and we'll check out
your south side at the fifty at the fifty break
in the classic bew at GMC Traffic Center from r.

Speaker 2 (32:55):
Ktr H Generator Supercenter twenty four hour with the centator.
Terry Smith is here. No rain insight until we get
to around Halloween, and that's a that's still a ways
off there, Terry.

Speaker 5 (33:04):
That's still a way so off.

Speaker 17 (33:06):
You're right, plenty of time for that part of the
forecast to change. What's not going to change is a
staying dry this week. We've got nothing but sunshine, high pressure,
no little storms heading our way. There is an area
of low pressure in the plains, but that's going to
stay so far to the north it'll have no impact
on us. Today's a warm day similar to yesterday, low

(33:29):
to mid eighties, and then it gets even warmer mid
to upper eighties Tomorrow, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and.

Speaker 5 (33:36):
Saturday as well.

Speaker 2 (33:37):
Yeah, but you're right now fifty nine at your officials,
Severe Weather Station, News Radio seven forty KRH. Just eager
to get to work here. Oh five pointy nine er
time here in Houston's borning due, all right, coming up
in just a moment here. After the break, we'll spend
a little time in the battleground states, I think this morning. Obviously,
we've been to the McDonald's that President Trump was at

(33:58):
in Pennsylvania also on Friday, and he's been getting around. Friday,
he was back in Michigan. We have a US Senate
candidate Mike Rogers talking about some of the campaign ads
that have been airing in Michigan, which had been very
very strange. These are don ballad races for Senate House

(34:19):
of Representatives where you've got Democrats who are agreeing that
that have clips of Trump in their ads and they're
agreeing with him. What does that tell you they're vulnerable?
What does that tell you about how worried they are
about the direction that Michigan is going in? And uh

(34:39):
and having Kamala Harrison happening in Pennsylvania.

Speaker 5 (34:42):
Casey, isn't that Pennsylvania?

Speaker 2 (34:45):
Bob Casey think you're right?

Speaker 5 (34:46):
The Senator, I can't remember. He's not Michigan.

Speaker 2 (34:49):
No, it's not Michigan. I mean yeah, What does that
tell you when you've got you know, progressive so we're
using Trump in their campaign ads? Anyway, More than that
coming up in just a moment the vote. Uh huh.
First though, we've got traffic and weather together Trump McDonald's video.
Did you what that's just hilarious? Did you ever work
at McDonald's. I'm not. I've never actually did fast food.

Speaker 4 (35:13):
Surprisingly did I used to make fudge at San Jacino Mall,
and I was horrible at it anyway.

Speaker 2 (35:19):
Longs can't see you with the fudge paddle, I really can.

Speaker 5 (35:22):
People would ask you questions while you're working.

Speaker 4 (35:24):
Drove me crazy Southwest Freeway outbound at He'll crop?

Speaker 2 (35:27):
What is that guy's problem?

Speaker 5 (35:28):
Or he's good as I'm pretty sure.

Speaker 2 (35:30):
That's what's wrong with that big truck.

Speaker 4 (35:32):
Just watch out for other stations listeners if you're leaving
after the loop six y ten. And also we cleared
the pavement repair off the East Loop at Iten.

Speaker 2 (35:40):
Let's do some two eighty eight at the.

attempt on his life by a Hesblo drone was a mistake.
Officials say the Prime Minister and his wife weren't in

was their apartment on Saturday. No casualties. There. A man

out the y Yeah, you didn't.

Speaker 5 (37:41):
Well, I knew there was going to be a wire

Speaker 2 (37:43):
Something in there.

Speaker 5 (37:44):
You but that t I didn't hear.

Speaker 2 (37:46):
You didn't selent.

Speaker 5 (37:47):
You didn't say it that way. You said epsilany.

Speaker 2 (37:50):
Let's they say it ppsilany the you did not You
did not une. So you're saying it's my fault that
you don't have a million.

Speaker 5 (37:59):
Dollars spelling base. They enunciate anyway.

Speaker 2 (38:03):
It's a little town. It's right next to an Arbert's
this today. I was born in technically, oh really, yes,
you're place of birth. There are many other infamous things
about Ipsilent and people go into at any rate. It's
a city of Michigan, and Michigan is in play. And
Mike Rodgers Senate candidates says, this is crazy. What's going
on with all these progressive candidates borrowing Donald Trump's programs

(38:27):
and even using clips of him in their ads, you.

Speaker 34 (38:30):
Know, and What's the interesting thing is we're seeing this
in other Senate races. Wisconsin, they're coming out showing Trump's
Trump's face in a Democrat ad.

Speaker 2 (38:38):
Same with Casey in Pennsylvania.

Speaker 34 (38:41):
I think this tells you their candidate, Kamala Harris is imploding.
People are starting to understand that she just really doesn't
know what in the heck she's doing, and that progressive
agenda is going to kill states like Michigan, banning gas
cars and gas stoves, and allowing biological mails to compete
against our daughters, all of those things they've been promoting

(39:03):
and voting on until election season.

Speaker 5 (39:05):
Now they have.

Speaker 34 (39:07):
I call it campaign conversion where they think, well, we've
got to go a different direction, and they're the ones
to get it done. So, I mean, our rice is
right where we need them to be. If they're starting
to talk about Donald Trump, I think we're going to win.
The EV mandate is going to kill the auto company.
Just think about the EV mandates that have already happened,
and remember there's a five year planning cycle for these automobiles.

(39:31):
Stellantis just announced twenty four hundred layoffs General Motors one
thousand layoffs. Ford said they had a charge off, which
means they lost five billion dollars in their ev division.
People don't want to buy the car that Kamala Harris
and my opponent Alyssa slock and are trying to make
you have to buy.

Speaker 2 (39:49):
And so that is having a tremendous negative impact here.

Speaker 34 (39:54):
We've lost twenty nine thousand manufacturing jobs just in the
last four years here in the state of Michigan. It's
been brutal. And so I know they come back at
election time and say no, no, no, we're the moderate
And oh, by the way, I talked to Donald Trump
on an occasion, this is about a serious and economic
problem for our people here in Michigan, who are having

(40:14):
a hard time buying groceries than I've ever seen.

Speaker 2 (40:17):
And so people get it.

Speaker 34 (40:18):
The Autoworker coalition for the Democrats falling apart, the air
of Muslim coalition for the Democrats falling apart, and black
mails are coming over to the Republican Party in numbers
we just haven't ever seen before.

Speaker 2 (40:28):
And again that's a big story. If Silientis is talking
to Governor Gretchen Whimer about moving their headquarters out of Detroit,
out of Michigan and leaving for another state because things
have gotten so bad there with taxes and what have you.
Then that's a that's a huge, huge story. Five fifty six.

are kind of swerving here. I don't see any kind
of lane protection just yet. I'm sure our Harris County
Deputies will be there to keep everybody safer.

Speaker 2 (41:45):
For now.

Speaker 4 (41:46):
Watch out inbound before Cypress Rose Hill and jump in.

It's six oh one in news Radio seven forty k

dead after a private tour helicopter crash into a radio
tower just south of downtown Houston. Let me just emphasize
that the scene is secure.

Speaker 6 (42:42):
Multiple finalities fairly, there's a child and it's a horrible
thing to witness.

Speaker 5 (42:49):
As Houston Mayor John Widmeyer was shortly after eight pm.
He said the flight originated from Ellington Field. No one
on the ground was injured. A report was filed last
Wednesday about that tower light not working. The early voting
period in Texas begins at seven this morning, and Republican
election Judge Felicia Cravens says there's going to be a

(43:10):
big turnout and actually a more smoothly run election this
time around.

Speaker 35 (43:15):
She believes Clark Hudspeth and her team have been working
very hard to correct any issues, to find any weaknesses
ahead of time before and I am much more confident
in this election is going to be run well now
that we're not using election administrators anymore and voting.

Speaker 5 (43:32):
Hours seven am seven pm. You need FETO ID to vote,
and the early voting period will run through November. First.
Speaking to reporters through at McDonald's drive through window in Pennsylvania,

Speaker 20 (43:54):
Now I have worked with I've now worked four fifteen
minutes more than Kamala. She never worked here.

Speaker 18 (44:01):
I did that worked fifteen minutes more than Cabala.

Speaker 5 (44:04):
Yeah, Harris had claimed that she once worked at McDonald's.
Trump will begin a two day campaign sweep across central
North Carolina today. Three rallies scheduled there. House Speaker Mike
Johnson also negating the Democrat Net narrative that Donald Trump
would use military against his political enemies if he's elected.
In a contentious interview on CNN of course State of

(44:26):
the Union, Johnson explained Trump's plan to use the National
Guard and even military if necessary, to rid America of
criminal illegal aliens. Yes, it's an invasion. As poles worsened
for the Democrats, they're now trying to lock in power
in the judiciary, the judicial system, and the federal judges.

Speaker 30 (44:48):
They want to make it harder to file appeals with
conservative judges.

Speaker 12 (44:52):
They're not satisfied now to try to find a friendly judge.
They want to be able to stack the deck so
they can ensure they get a friendly judge who will
hams the Trump agenda.

Speaker 30 (45:01):
Gary Polland with the Texas Conservative Review says this just
goes to show you where their real priorities are.

Speaker 12 (45:06):
They're interested in power and they want totally complete power
in the country and send the rest of us who
are moderates or conservatives, I guess packing.

Speaker 30 (45:14):
Pauland says this is a good indicator that if Trump

a prime minister and his wife weren't in the building
and there were no casualties. Reports that were in store
for a cooler than average Lanina later this year, and
Mark Morana with a climate depot says, well, just more

(46:05):
evidence that the climate change narrative is falling apart.

Speaker 14 (46:09):
This is part of this game where basically they use
these ocean cycles to weaponize the climate debate. It's worse
that we taught or they try to ignore it if
it's a Latina and it's cooler.

Speaker 5 (46:20):
Yeah, He notes climate changes cyclically and naturally. Oceans actually
were much warmer during the medieval warm period. Six oh
five is our time. AI is rapidly sucking up the
power on our grid.

Speaker 36 (46:38):
Microsoft warning the data centers that produce artificial intelligence products
will soon reach their capacity and require new power sources.
AI consultant Matt Rosen says the tech industry is already
looking at solutions like faster chips and smaller data centers.

Speaker 15 (46:51):
Figure out how do we make these models more energy efficient,
but there probably is going to be a need for
more power. So for the average American, I think it's
going to be incumbent upon government company to like to
kind of pull the levers where they can so we
don't have ground outs blockouts every years to come.

Speaker 36 (47:05):
Nuclear power is another solution. Microsoft recently signed a deal
to reopen the three Mile Island plant. Corey Yelson, he's

Speaker 37 (47:30):
Only about seventy three percent of workers have access to
a workplace based retirement plan. Also, demographics not exactly in
our favor either. As the population ages, we're shifting toward
more retirees and fewer workers per retiree.

Speaker 5 (47:48):
Bank Great Chief financial analyst Greg mcbridey says the contributions
fall heavily on individuals. If you want to have a retirement,
you get to look after yourself. Here in the US

led to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. It was Kamala
Harris the borders are that opened up our border to

decision to stop energy production, making US more energy independent.

I know, for example, my lower teeth were very very
crooked in the front and I'd get tarder built up

I mean they used to. I used to spend a
lot of time in the dentist office getting those teeth cleaned,

Hi, this is Chris Wootin with your clear direction for

Of course not yet. One of the biggest retirement mistakes
we see is that folks are more focused on products
than they are financial planning. It's important to remember that
financial products are the tools utilized to execute a sound
financial plan. A hammer becomes pretty useless to build a

house if there are no blueprints to work from. Financial
product shouldn't begin the conversation with your advisor. They should
be the natural byproduct of the financial planning process and

How did all of this happen?

Speaker 46 (59:22):
The chaos of open borders, communities filled with violent gainings,
drug dealers and criminals, inflation in groceries, gasoline, even a
night out with a family, and devisive politics with boys
in girls' locker rooms, boys and girls, sports and schools
keeping parents in the dark. Now for our left, Democrats
including Colin Alright, are demanding taxpayers pay for sex change

Speaker 47 (59:49):

because of radical liberal Democrats like Colin Allred. Alred claims

Speaker 2 (01:03:05):
So the sixty Minutes interview has got a lot of attention.
Can't wait to talk to our next guest about that.
His name is Jeff TheCall. He's the Media Stuce professor
to Paul University. There have been calls for the license
of CBS over this. There have been calls for at
the very least a release of the original interview. Jeff
that they did so that can they can see exactly

(01:03:26):
how much editing went into, in some cases completely changing
her answers to questions, is this something just blows over
for sixty minutes or is this just another thing that
we're going to look back on it as the ultimate
you know, ultimately led to the demise of the mainstream media.

Speaker 31 (01:03:46):
I think sixty minutes has stepped on a landmine here.
You know, sixty minutes over the years has had a
great reputation as a as a you know, a bastion
of journalistic excellence, and of course it's quite in favor
of the the kind of liberal audience that it appeals to.
But I must say, you know, when you think about
Kamala Harris and her campaign, one of the key issues

(01:04:08):
has been can she explain her policies? You know, do
her policies make sense? You know, she has a reputation
as somebody who comes off as rather ambiguous in public
speaking and is famous for her word salads. So I
think when CBS started editing this sixty minutes interview, they
made a big mistake because really one of the issues

(01:04:30):
is can she be coherent? And when they get into
editing her to try to make her look better, they're
clearly trying to adjust the campaign rhetoric in her favor.

Speaker 2 (01:04:40):
And so I'm not.

Speaker 31 (01:04:41):
Sure this is going to blow over very quickly for
sixty minutes. And one thing they could easily do was
just release the entire video that they've got to let
everybody see how they edited it, because I think, you know,
when one of the campaign issues is can Kamala Harris
actually express herself? I think they owe it to us
to let us be able to see how she answered

(01:05:03):
the questions. But you know, I must say I'm going
to back up just a second. It is common in
media interviews, you know, on radio and television to edit
you know, the people you talk to. That's usually done
for time and to try to you know, try to provide,
you know, some structure to the interview. But this is

(01:05:23):
not the case for Kamala Harris. Sixty Minutes edited this
to try to help her campaign sound yes, and it
goes to show that the media is activist in nature
these days, that they've moved away from their professional standards
of yesteryear. And that explains why, you know, in the

(01:05:43):
Gallop polling, media credibility is tanking and has declined a
great deal over the years because people don't trust them.
And well, the sad thing is when the audience can't
trust sixty minutes anymore, the media as a whole, I
think is in disrepair.

Speaker 5 (01:06:00):
It has been a long slow slide and certainly has
happened as cable and other non license so to speak,
I mean the FCC they have to be licensed to
broadcast in the public interest, and how is that in
the public interest? And that's why it is such a
big and hard fall for somebody like CBS.

Speaker 31 (01:06:19):
Yeah, it's a real problem. And you know, you look
at the decline in media trust. In nineteen eighty, seventy
five percent of Americans said that they trusted the establishment media.
That number is now down to thirty one percent. I
mean that that is a huge fall. And another study
by Rasmuss and Reports now shows that only twenty eight

(01:06:39):
percent of Americans think the media even try to be
fair in their political reporting. So, I mean, you know,
when you get down to twenty eight percent of Americans
we even think the media even tries to be fair
in reporting, you know, that's a really bad number. And
you know, you go back to the you know, the
nineteen seventies and nineteen eighties, when the Gallup studies showed
that media confidence with seventy five percent. You know, you had,

(01:07:03):
you know, prominent journalists like Walter Cronkite and Chet Huntley
and Frank Reynolds anchoring news broadcasts and people had confidence
in them. And by the way, keep in mind, in
the seventies we had a very polarized time as well,
coming out of the Vietnam era and whatnot. So when
people say, oh, the world is just polarized now, so
nobody trusts the media. Well, the world was polarized in
the seventies as well, and people still trusted the media

(01:07:26):
because the media tried to be professional and tried to
adhere to a standard of fairness. And that is out
the window because they're totally into activism now and the
people who run the media are not at all like
the people that they're trying to broadcast.

Speaker 2 (01:07:39):
Too well, And I have to wonder, you know what
the push point is here as far as the advertisers
go to if you were if only thirty one percent
of the people trust you, at what point do you
lose the advertising that allows you to continue to broadcast.
Jeff got to leave it at that for today, but
thank you so much. Jeff McCall beni a stuce professor
at De Paul University. At six twenty seven, time to
take a look at your money, Courtney done ho here.

Speaker 26 (01:08:01):

I think the number one threat that we have, and
I actually think the thing that people are going to
be voting on most is what's happening on our southern

the number one thing that people want to talk about.

Speaker 5 (01:11:29):
Latest Fox News poll has Trump two points ahead of
Kamala Harris across the popular vote. Major corporations of the
US are learning the costs of their bottom line of
getting political with DEI. And now you've got forty nine
congressional Democrats sending them letters pleading with these CEOs to

This type of ideology.

It's now six thirty five. Well, two thirds of Americans
do not trust the old media establishment legacy media mainstream

percent of Democrats do.

Speaker 31 (01:13:13):
Trust the old professional standard of fairness and objectivity and
journalism has really gone out the window, and we now
have a professional media establishment that is engaged in activism.

Speaker 5 (01:13:26):
Professor Jeff McCall with DePaul University told KGRH, a lot
of Americas are just ignoring the news altogether, and that
means we're uninformed about important issues. Six thirty five is
our time. Premiums, they're a disaster for senior citizens. And
the Inflation Reduction Act is the reason why.

Speaker 11 (01:13:48):
The Biden Harris White House is facing criticism over allegedly
taking money from the Medicare Trust Fund and putting it
towards a demo project trying to bring down premiums.

Speaker 32 (01:13:56):
Premiums this year twenty twenty four went up. By twenty
next year, they're going up by twenty three percent.

Speaker 11 (01:14:04):
Republican strategists and CEO of Horizon Government Affairs Joel White
says this all stems from the disastrous Inflation Reduction Act.

What a mess if you roll it over it.

Speaker 33 (01:14:34):
That's where negative equity comes into the equation. And now
that you're packaging it into your next vehicle, you are
essentially paying for something you don't even own anymore for
that term that you're signing up for today.

Speaker 10 (01:14:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (01:14:45):
I'van dreury with Edmunds there. He says negative equity is

the Bahamas. It's Hurricane Oscar. It's already swept into the Bahamas,
made landfall first on the Big Island there, then went
into Cuba. Now as making a right hook and off
it goes back towards the Bahamas again. Really strange. It's
a Category one storm. Eighty mile an hour winds. Eastern
Cuba is where it's making landfall today. Forecast to gradually

(01:15:31):
weakened tonight and early tomorrow. No impact on the Florida
coast again. It's taking that little hook. It's going back
out after it does this little loop. It's weird game.
We saw seven changes in the lead. Houston, Texas lost

A right used to be you've got to have a
job if you want to be with me. Now it's
you got to vote for her. New ad put up
by the Harris campaign evidently is offending black men all
across the country. It is a campaign ad depicting women
turning them down for dates because of their voting record.

(01:16:43):
It's like a dating game style video. The women in
the video are holding balloons that they pop once they
eliminate somebody from contention for a date, and they're asking
questions of this guy in the video of black man
walk of the studio before several women introduces himself and
they start asking questions. First question, what do you do

(01:17:06):
and how much do you make? He replies, that's always
a nice question. Now that's a nice icebreaker. He replies,
I work in finance and I make six figures. Oh,
the ladies are interested. One of the women in line
ask him how tall he is, which he says six

(01:17:27):
foot five. Yeah. They like that again, and then they
go on to other questions. They finally get to you know,
who did you vote? Who are you voting for in
the presidential election, and he kind of hymns and halls
and intimates that he might be a Trump guy, in

(01:17:49):
which case they all pop their balloons. I'm sorry, I
can't vote for you based on who you would vote
for for president of the United States of America. The
message being.

Speaker 5 (01:18:01):
To black men that hell, he escaped, didn't he.

Speaker 2 (01:18:04):
Yeah, that you're not going to be able to get

Yeah, would you really want to take the map?

Speaker 2 (01:18:28):
Well, politics makes bad bedfellows.

You know, we've got a big problem on the west Sam, y'all,

it just looked like, you know, nothing big and this

Kind of ugly.

on her behalf. But yeah, deferred adjudication. There is nobody
around here who has the list of court cases that
you have, Sky Michael. It's like traffic parole. In other words,
you better watch your next step. Yeah, exactly, he's on.

(01:19:56):
He's on his own RECOGNI sense, which I don't think
is very smart idea. But okay, huh oh, put an

Speaker 5 (01:20:06):
Okay, let's move on and avoid this crash site.

Speaker 2 (01:20:11):
So we're dry.

Speaker 17 (01:20:14):
Not a lot of change in our weather that makes

Six fifty two. Our time here in Houston's for news
all right? That the Al Smith dinner which the President
bothered to show up for. President Trump bothered to show
up for. He told some jokes. Sometimes he kind of
me entered into, you know, a little bit of meanness.
But hey, I thought I can understand. I'm surprised you
could even joke about some of the things that have
happened to him. Evidently, though progressives don't share his sense

(01:23:39):
of humor. Here they are reacting to what he said
at the Al Smith dinner, and then some reaction to
their reaction from Greg Guttfeld.

Speaker 39 (01:23:45):
Yes, his appearance at the alfredy Smith dinner was ridiculous.

Speaker 2 (01:23:50):
It was offensive, and it was way off to maw.

Speaker 5 (01:23:52):
I thought that Donald Trump misread the room.

Speaker 21 (01:23:56):
I thought that he was undisciplined and mostly unfunnyed just
missed the market.

Speaker 2 (01:24:01):
It was cringe worthy and it was unnecessarily.

Speaker 3 (01:24:04):
Nasty, was nasty in his comments and frankly not very funny.

So is this Catholic church event normalizing a guy who's

And got darker and darker where even some of his supporters,
I'm not sure found it all quite that funny.

Speaker 50 (01:24:24):
I think it's just hilarious how they all sound exactly
the same, the critics, It's incredible. It's like you'd think
they get the talking points from one person. I mean,
true to a Catholic event. Donald Trump gave Harris last rights.
My favorite part though, is.

So clearly Schumer doesn't really believe Trump is a Nazi,
or he wouldn't be there laughing.

Speaker 2 (01:25:07):
And talking to him. So think about it.

Speaker 50 (01:25:10):
All this Trump rhetoric is just a political show, and
their willingness to foment division across a country. To get
Pete to demonize Trump's supporters because you're supporting a Nazi
is all based on a lie, and it tells you
the division is never ever left versus right. The division
is supposed to be left versus right, when it's really

(01:25:32):
the elitist against everyone else.

Speaker 3 (01:25:34):
They want you to believe it's left versus right, but
it really isn't.

Speaker 50 (01:25:37):
I love the Kamala video because she says it's so

what they figured out. When you want to buy something

(01:35:49):
and the first card comes up as decline, what will
you do? Generally speaking, you will put in a second
card with a whole new set of numbers, a whole
different card than the one you put in the first time.
So now instead of having one credit card number, they've
got two. It's really quite smart. So the key here,

(01:36:15):
I guess is if you get that message and you
know good and well that there's nothing wrong with the card,
and most of us keep up with our balances and
all that, and you know whether not your card is
good or not, don't fall prey to the idea that
you should put in a different card and make note

(01:36:35):
of the fact that that site did decline your first card,
which you know to be perfectly good, in which case
you may want to call your credit card company and
make sure that nothing comes through from that company on
that card. Yeah, unfortunately, that's part of the deal. The
crooks are just as busy during holiday season, pact. It's
their busiest time of the year compared to any other time.

sell big mature trees. They can have an immediate impact

percent off on many of their different trees and shrubs,
and some of them even have free planting, so all
you have to do is pick what you want, get
half off, and enjoy your new tree. We got a
big palm tree for our backyard that kind of just
filled in that last spot in our landscaping that needed something.

Speaker 46 (01:42:19):
The chaos of open borders, communities filled with violent gainings,
drug dealers and criminals, inflation in groceries, gasoline even a
night out with a family, and devisive politics with boys
in girls' locker rooms, boys and girls' sports, and schools
keeping parents in the dark. Now for our left, democrats

On the first day of early voting here in Texas,
Cindy Siegal joins US Harris County GOP chair. I know
it's early, Sidney, but I'm wondering if you've heard any
reports about what's looking like at the early voting polls

(01:49:22):
this morning. Are we seeing a pretty good crowd?

Speaker 25 (01:49:25):
Yes, we actually are. My own husbands went to and
he said there was a line of fifty people outside.
And we've heard from a couple vote badges around the
county that said they had people in all of our
other gym for the polls to open, So good sign.
We've been telling line waitings. Although a lot of Republicans

(01:49:48):
went away to election. Republicans for encouraging everyone, like President Trump,
get out and vote early day.

Speaker 2 (01:49:55):
We're still there and she's gone. That didn't last long.
He's okay, you're cutting out there Sunday, So that's okay.
We'll try this again.

So we're encouraging Republicans to get out and vote. Really,
don't wait till election day. You don't know what if
there's bad weather, et cetera. It helps our candidates so
they don't waste the text or trying to chase your

Again, sorry, when challenge for attorneys that are litigating, it's

(01:51:42):
they know that the Democrat judges are going to take
it out on them.

Speaker 2 (01:51:47):
Let me let me ask you about that. It is
the justice system in Harris County so skewed to the
left that they actually will hold it against an attorney
who ran for that position, who has managed to go
ahead and say they are a Republican. Yes, seriously, wow, Yes,
and I.

Speaker 25 (01:52:08):
Backed you know, some of our election challenging for the
attorneys that were representing them for the November twenty two

left wing bias anymore.

Speaker 31 (01:59:27):
It's not particularly surprising. We still see evidence of it
all the time right now. I mean, you have CBS
editing a sixty minutes interview to make Kamala Harris look better.

Speaker 30 (01:59:36):
Jeff McCall with Dapai University told KTRH this is leading
to many people just tuning out completely.

Speaker 31 (01:59:41):
Which I guess is fine that if the news is
going to be biased. But on the other hand, then
we have a lot of Americans who really don't even
want to become informed about the issues of the day.

Speaker 30 (01:59:50):
Unsurprisingly, Gallup reports that fifty four percent of Democrats still
have a great deal of trust in the media. Ethan
Beginning News Radio seven forty KTRH.

Speaker 5 (02:00:00):
Now Well, healthcare premiums you know, overall up over twenty
percent this year, and the Biden Harris regime accused of
trying to disguise it. They're sivening money from the Medicare
trust at least temporarily.

Speaker 32 (02:00:16):
The Biden Harris administration saw this trend in premiums up
by double digits. They launched a demo which took money
out of the Medicare Trust Fund and gave it to
health insurance plans to buy down some of the premium increase.

Speaker 5 (02:00:33):
Yeah, Republican Strategies CEO of Horizon Government Affairs Joel White
He says the plan didn't work as premiums well temporarily,
maybe they got hidden, but they're going to go up
again next year after the election by about twenty three percent.
Another effect of the Biden Here's economy. More Americans underwater

(02:00:54):
in their car loans. Ivan Drury with Edmunds says they're
being forced to come to different terms.

Speaker 33 (02:01:00):
If you have a negative equity, average APR is closer
to eight percent. Multi payment eight hundred and ninety four
dollars terms closer to seventy six months. So you can
see how this dramatically changes your layout.

Speaker 5 (02:01:13):
Yeah, average amount ode on upside down lows is now
an all time high of over sixty four one hundred dollars.
Six to seven thirty seven is our time. Well, the
lead changed seven times. I guess it was a good game.
Don't like it when you lose. Houston, Texas lost to
Green Bay and Lambeau twenty four to twenty two, a
last second field goal by the Packers. They are hosting

(02:01:37):
the Colts next Sunday. I'm surebre Fryar on News Radio

Speaker 3 (02:01:50):
More with Jimmy Barrett and Sheriff Fryar. This is Houston's
morning News.

Speaker 2 (02:01:55):
So while we were spending the weekend doing what we do,
China was busy surrounding Taiwan with one hundred and fifty
three warplanes. Just hey, we're just yeah, we're the same flyover,
just flyover. Nothing to worry about here, I earned fifty
three warplanes. Gordon Chang says, well, here's what Gordon Chang

(02:02:18):
has to say about what China's doing right now.

Speaker 57 (02:02:20):
People in Taiwan and officials say that China probably will
establish a quarantine around the Ain island of Taiwan sometime
within the next six months.

Speaker 2 (02:02:29):
Now, a quarantine is.

Speaker 57 (02:02:30):
Not an active war, but a blockade is, and China
could very well move from a quarantine to a blockade,
especially if the quarantine doesn't work, which means that we
would have a conflict in East Asia. And when you
look at the other conflicts around the world Ukraine, North Africa,
and Middle East, then this starts to look like a
global conflict. And I think the reason why this is

(02:02:52):
happening now is because Cijmping's economy is failing. We see
this from all sorts of indicators, and I believe that
in desperate dictator is going to do desperate things. So
we've got to be extremely concerned because our political system
is talking peace while Cijmping is actually when he speaks
to the Chinese people, he's talking war all the time.

(02:03:13):
And what they're doing is Sijmping is trying to push
out foreign companies because he doesn't want competitors there to
challenge his state industries. So, you know, if Biden would
get off the beach, I think what he should do
is just ban all American chip makers from doing business
in or with China because he's going to see Jimping's
going to push them out anyway. So we should just

(02:03:34):
get this over with, and we should understand that Sigimping
has declared an economic.

Speaker 2 (02:03:39):
War on us.

Speaker 57 (02:03:39):
He did that a long time ago. We need to respond,
and we need to respond with the vigor that he
has shown in attacking our company.

Speaker 2 (02:03:47):
Well, hopefully we will respond in January when there's a
new president at the White House. At least that's what
I'm hoping on. Seven forty time for traffic and weather together,
we're checking it again with sky Bike. It's about all
the west Loop you can stand.

Speaker 4 (02:04:02):
Now, if you're going down to uptown, does that make sense,
Jimmy from two ninety down to Sam Philip. That's an
extra eleven or twelve minutes on the southbound. We're doing
a nice job of not colliding. And then northbound it's
big breaks coming off the ramp from the Southwest Freeway.
That cleared the wreck and the feeder right there on
the golf freeway. Haven't mentioned you much this morning. Some
breaks around waffle House, which sounds good this morning. Two

at least at our airports. It's back in September, Holy
only like the twenty fourth or twenty fifth of September.

Speaker 2 (02:05:28):
I bet it wasn't much back then either.

Speaker 5 (02:05:30):
No, it was underwhelming, is the best way to put it.

Speaker 17 (02:05:34):
So, yeah, we really could use some rain, and mother
Nature is not obliging us here so sunny, dry.

Speaker 5 (02:05:40):

We're gonna need three media fries. So would you like
to edit put the media frize in the bad.

Speaker 18 (02:08:58):
I think sure, yeah, I'll do that free. Because you
know who's taking these right mine? Do they ever ask
for more salt? I'm supposing we want some extra salt?

Speaker 34 (02:09:07):

Speaker 43 (02:09:09):
We will give them salt? Bag what you suffer?

Speaker 18 (02:10:54):
Oh you're going to some extra style? Okay, this is

Speaker 2 (02:10:57):

let's jack to make sure everything it's gonna be the
best you haven't.

Speaker 18 (02:11:05):
I made it myself.

Speaker 2 (02:11:08):
Thank you man, Thank you, thank you.

Speaker 18 (02:11:10):
Have a good time, have a good time.

Speaker 2 (02:11:12):
That's that's great, and it'll be the best best you
ever had.

Speaker 5 (02:11:17):
You know what, I really think he has a good time.

Speaker 2 (02:11:20):
I think so too.

Speaker 5 (02:11:21):
I think I don't think you can fake that.

Speaker 2 (02:11:23):
No, I think he's genuinely interested in people. And it shows,
you know, he didn't have to sit there and make
small talk with you know, the woman who's teaching him
how to serve up the fries.

Speaker 27 (02:11:31):
He was.

Speaker 5 (02:11:32):
He didn't look too happy when his mic suddenly went
dead and a huge rally. I guess it was Friday night.
I was watching. It was Friday or Thursday. Yeah, you know,
twenty minutes, no microphone, Donald Trump up on the stage.

Speaker 2 (02:11:46):
But the brilliance of going to a McDonald's. I mean,
this is the video has been playing all weekend. People
have been reacting to it all weekend. Here's Guy Benson,
by the way, reacting to you know, Trump going to McDonald's.

Speaker 43 (02:11:57):
This is such a smart play I think by the
Trump campaign.

Speaker 58 (02:12:00):
Whether Kamala Harris worked a McDonald's or not, I would
guess she probably did.

Speaker 43 (02:12:05):
It doesn't really matter. He's decided to troll her on this.

Speaker 58 (02:12:08):
And the fact that he got to a McDonald's French
fry friar before she did and sort of in a humanizing,
humorous way, was able to have one of the greatest
presidential photo ops I can remember, just in terms of
entertainment value.

Speaker 43 (02:12:23):
We hear a lot about joy on the campaign.

Speaker 58 (02:12:25):
He seemed to be genuinely enjoying himself today watching him
like actually working the fries, filling the little sleeve, handing
the bags of food to people through the window at
the drive through. He said, I made it myself. I
laughed out loud. And it doesn't matter, like take politics
out of it. This was a home run day for them.

Speaker 2 (02:12:44):
I agree. And by the way, he also went to
a barbershop in the Bronx, sat there in the barber
share and had a conversation with everybody in the barbershop
about what their concerns were.

Speaker 5 (02:12:54):
I mean some of these podcasts he's been doing. Yeah,
I don't know who these podcasters are.

Speaker 2 (02:13:00):
Boy. What what the left can't stand and what they
can't figure out for themselves is how he relates to
people in a very human way that they can't seem
to They can't seem to connect with people the way
he does. I think that drives them insane.

Speaker 5 (02:13:14):
What do they call that retail politics? I forget what
they call that. It's not selling politics, pressing, pressing the flesh.
That used to be the way you do shaking hands babies.
Now media has just made it, you know, digital has
made it so possible to do everything remotely, and people
are used to.

Speaker 2 (02:13:30):
It doing it. He's doing an old school which is
new school again because it hasn't been done their way
in so long. Hey, listen, y'all have a great day
