Speaker 1 (00:02):
Well, seapack turned out pretty good for the Republicans. They're
trying to grow too. I get the seeking suspicion that
they the things are growing. You know, there's at least
some anecdotal evidence that on college campuses, even women might
be looking to become a little bit more conservative. The
message seems to be resonating, so that to me, that
seems to be That would be like the first thing
(00:23):
you need to do right is to is to get
the message right and get the message to the right
people joining us to talk about it is a Jacob Blaine,
GOP strategist and newsmac's contributor. Welcome to the programs, sir.
Seapack was was pretty special. It always is. I mean,
but you're preaching to the choired seapack. How do you
how do you grow from seapack into something that brings
(00:45):
more people into the tent?
Speaker 2 (00:48):
Well, first, thanks for having me on this morning. I
think it's easy. I think you have to keep your word.
And Republicans ran on a platform of bettering the economy,
campering down inflation, securing the border, and making us once
again respected on the world stage. And I think they're
doing all three of those things, and I think they're
(01:08):
doing them pretty well.
Speaker 1 (01:09):
Okay, do you think that the message is getting through
to your average citizen that maybe doesn't pay that much
attention to the news, because, after all, the mainstream media
is still doing what they do best.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
Yeah. Absolutely, But I think I think Republicans are doing
one thing saying they're staying united, and I think voters
are seeing that. They're seeing a united front, and what
they're seeing on the Democratic side is just utter confusion.
If you just look at last week with the debacle
of the Democrats and the fight over the Continuing Resolution. First,
you know, Senator Schumer was going to close down the
(01:41):
government and then he gave. And so what they're seeing
on the Republican side is a united front. They're seeing
a party that has goals and that is achieving those
goals and they're united in that front. And on the
Democratic side, they're just not seeing that. So yeah, I
think voters are starting to see this is not your
mom and Dad's Republican party. This is a new Republican party.
(02:02):
And Republicans have Donald Trump to think for that.
Speaker 1 (02:04):
Well, but there's going to have to be a life
after Donald Trump, isn't there, because he can only unless
we change the constitution, which is not likely to happen,
or they find some incredible loophole, which as far as
I can tell, does not exist. You know, in another
you know, three and a half four years, it'll be
time for somebody else. Is there a somebody else in
the Republican Party who will continue what Trump is trying
(02:25):
to do now?
Speaker 2 (02:28):
Absolutely, but I think it's I think it's too early.
And look, Trump has asked this question about a month
ago if JD. Vance was his anointed successor, and I
think he was smart and saying he doesn't have any
answer yet. Because the one thing that I think the
Republicans have going to Democrats don't is the Republicans have
a pretty deep bench. There are a number of qualified governors, senators, now,
(02:52):
cabinet members of the Trump administration, including the Vice President,
that I think can carry the mantle of the Maga legacy.
I just don't see Democrats having that side on their side.
I don't see them having that kind of a bench.
Speaker 1 (03:07):
Well, they'd have a bench for this election, so no,
I think you're right, Well they don't. He'd run this
last time.
Speaker 2 (03:17):
Well, hey, they tried it. You know, Look they tried
a three month campaign. It didn't work out that well,
but hey, she might be becoming the new governor of California.
I'm just glad I don't live in California.
Speaker 1 (03:25):
No kidd out out of the frying pan into the
fire if that were to happen. All right, sir, I
hope you're right about all this. Appreciate it. Jacob Blaine,
GOP strategist in NEWSBAX contributor. It's by fifty six
