Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well, it turns out when Joe Biden signed on the
dotted line, he did it with an auto pen. Speaker.
Mike Johnson thinks that's a problem, especially when it comes
to partnering people. There's a story about it in an American
Thinker written by our next guest, Jim Davis. He joins,
us now autopen for those who ever never used an autopen.
Start with that, Jim, What would make an auto pen
(00:24):
signature by Joe Biden potentially problematic?
Speaker 2 (00:28):
Well, the fact that he's mentally incompetent. He's been mentally incompetent,
I think since twenty fifteen when his son died. Jill,
his wife, has admitted that Joe Biden experienced an event
at that time. And those of us who are watching
closely notice that he wasn't making any public appearances that
(00:50):
required more than five seconds of talking. He wasn't giving speeches,
he wasn't giving interviews, And you know, at first I
thought he was just grieving, you know, and I can
relate to that, you know, But then you know his president,
you know, his vice presidency was over, and he withdrew
into private life, and you know, Hillary was a nominee,
(01:13):
so it kind of got swept under the rug for
a while, but then came the twenty twenty campaign and
he was campaigning from his basement and those of us
who were watching closely could notice that he was impaired.
But of course the Democratic Party deep State and it's
propaganda Burero's formerly known as news media just pretended that
(01:38):
he was as sharp as he ever was, And as
recently as February twenty twenty four, Chosecarborough Morning Joe on
MSNBC was saying, he's as sharp as he ever was.
So it was Chris Coon of Maryland, the representative in Congress.
But then came the June debate with Trump and everybody
could see that he was gone. He was a hustle man.
Speaker 1 (02:01):
Let me so that.
Speaker 2 (02:02):
Comp that, combined with the autopen, yeah, raises a lot
of questions.
Speaker 1 (02:07):
Let me let me ask you, Yeah, let me ask
you this from a from a from a legal standpoint,
as far as the autopen goes, I've never used an autopen,
but it would it seems to me be fairly easy
for somebody to sign. Is Joe Biden? Who wasn't Joe Biden?
If you're using an autopen, does that put some of
these signatures into questions whether or not he actually ever
saw what he signed or signed it knowing it then
(02:29):
you signed it.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
There have there have been presidents straighting back to to
Truman who have used the autopen that they've all been
mentally competent. Trump used an auto pen. Obama used an
r pen extensively to sign certain documents, especially when he
was out of count But when you have a competent
president who says, yes, I signed, I've read this, Yes
I know what it's about, and please to fix my
(02:52):
signature chief of staff, that's legal. Uh, When when it's
Treasury secretary says, yes, I've reviewed or I have received
reports that these one point nine million Social Security check
recipients are all eligible and they're getting the right amounts.
Please to fix my signature to all one point nine
million checks, that's fine too. But when you have an
(03:14):
incompetent president who really is not all there, and he
hasn't been all there for ten years for those of
us who have been watching closely, and he's been getting
worse and worse. Certainly by the last few months of
his presidency, he was gone. Yeah.
Speaker 1 (03:33):
Of course, the problem is.
Speaker 2 (03:34):
Even by June twenty twenty four, he was gone, Yeah.
Speaker 1 (03:38):
The problem is you have to go back and be
able to prove that, and that is going to be
very difficult to do. Jim Davis, thank you for your time, Sir.
