got to do the traffic so silly?
Speaker 7 (00:53):
Okay.
Speaker 5 (00:53):
I could say that we have a ramp closure on
I six ' ten, the north Loop six ten westbound
at the ramp to I forty five, the North Freeway southbound.
Now your head's fins, or I could just say it's
loopy at the squeeze. They've shut down the ramp that
goes from LBJ to downtown. I don't know how long
it's going to be like this, but it also looks
like they've shut down the ramp that goes from the
(01:14):
heights to downtown. We'll keep an eye on see what
the hell's going on here. I'm in your Generator Supercenter

for the news. Here's Sheriff Fryer and.
Speaker 8 (01:38):
Good morning everyone.
Speaker 9 (01:39):
It is now five oh one on news radio seven
forty k t RH and our top story this hour,
Houston Mayor John Whitmeyer picking Katie's chief of police, no
ideas to be the new chief of HPD. Former city
council member Mike Knox tells KGRH this is a good hire.
Speaker 10 (02:00):
Is a former Texas Ranger, former DPS trooper, has been
a chief of police in a small agency. But I
think We're in good shape. I think the mayor made
a good choice on this.
Speaker 9 (02:08):
One, and Chief Diaz will be introduced to all of
us at eleven am. Breaking over night, Pasadena police shoot
and wound a man who fired at them while responding
to a domestic assault call. The man in the hospital
in unknown condition. He was hit in the abdomen. In Austin,
Texas Governor Greg Abbott met with Centerpoint officials yesterday gives
(02:28):
the company an ultimatum after its botched Hurricane Beryl response.
Speaker 11 (02:34):
Center Points set August fifteenth as the deadline for many
of the resolutions on communications and retraining call center agents,
but the governor wants those issues addressed by next Friday.
Speaker 9 (02:47):
Bryce Newberry, with our TV partner Channel two. Center Point
had asked as well the PUC for a raid hike
to recoup its barrel cleanup costs. Because of public and
political outrage, The company now withdrawing that request. It is
five three Democrats have started the virtual roll call to
nominate their only candidate, Kamala Harris for president. She already
(03:10):
gave herself the job, though, during yesterday's eulogy here in
Houston for Congress Room Woman Sheila Jackson Lee.
Speaker 12 (03:19):
It was Sheila Jackson Lee who's bill made Juneteenth of
federal holiday, which as a United States Senator I was
proud to co sponsor, and then as President's vice president,
it was my honor with the president.
Speaker 13 (03:34):
With the president mmmmm.
Speaker 9 (03:37):
Role call will conclude on Monday. She has yet to
hold a news conference though, or take any questions. So
what really is her economic platform?
Speaker 14 (03:48):
Sure, it's a question that I asked the former director
of the Congressional Budget Office, Douglas Holtz Aiken.
Speaker 15 (03:56):
I think the easiest answer is it is the Biden
administration economic record.
Speaker 16 (04:00):
She has defended it at every turn.
Speaker 15 (04:01):
She is part of the administration and she owns this record.
Speaker 14 (04:05):
So how will her record compare with Biden's?
Speaker 15 (04:08):
If we judge her by her history, she would be
the Biden administration somewhat on steroids, bigger, spending, more taxes.
Speaker 14 (04:15):
Juff Biggs, News Radio seven katrh.
Speaker 9 (04:18):
Yeah, she's already bragging, just as Joe Biden did, about
letting the Trump tax cuts expire next year. That's when
they're scheduled to expire if she gets elected. Now, Americans
for Tax Reform President Grover Norquo says that's just the
start of common gnomics.
Speaker 17 (04:36):
She wants to tax energy. She wants another payroll tax.
She wants to attacks on growing small businesses. She wants
to have attacks every time you have a transaction with event.
She wants to tax the increase in property values if
people's assets go up.
Speaker 9 (04:50):
He says, Harris's policies would take money out of private
hands and give it to the government to give out
to their friends by amount of about three to four
trillion dollars.
Speaker 8 (05:04):
It is now five to oh five.
Speaker 9 (05:06):
She tried to mask a radical views these last two
weeks the Associated Press, though instead of calling it lying
like we do, they've labeled it calibrating. Yet another example
of how mainstream media and the now radical leftist Democrat
Party are in lockstep.
Speaker 18 (05:23):
These institutions are all being ran by the same elite leftists.
Speaker 6 (05:27):
When they get into positions of power, they employ those
ideologies in the way that they do their jobs.
Speaker 18 (05:34):
Political analyst Vladavidik says this ideological unity gives the Democrats
the exact fuel that they need.
Speaker 19 (05:41):
Democrats in the left depend on distraction, misinformation, and crisis
in order succeed.
Speaker 18 (05:47):
Ethan Buchannan News Radio seven forty KRH.
Speaker 9 (05:50):
It's now five oh six. President Donald Trump expected to
sit down with the FBI yesterday for an interview about
the July thirteenth assassination attempt. Don't know if he did
or not. They're keeping quiet on that, even as a
whistleblower has accused the now acting Secret Service director who's
actually Deputy Director, Ronald Rowe, of reducing all that counter
(06:13):
surveillance before the murderous attack.
Speaker 8 (06:18):
Why we don't know.
Speaker 9 (06:20):
And as you heard on KTRH, Trump made a promise
after an Italian boxer, Angelakarini stopped her Olympic match after
just forty six seconds with her opponent, a transgender who
was disqualified from the World Championships last year after failing
to meet gender requirements.
Speaker 20 (06:40):
We will not allow men to play in women's sports.
They've gone into the whole thing with men can do
anything they want.
Speaker 9 (06:48):
Trump on with Clay Travis and Buck Sexton, also on
the international front iron threatening retaliation against Israel directly for
the killing of top Hamas leaders.
Speaker 21 (07:00):
The New York Times reports that Ismael Haniel killed from
an explosive device planted in an Iranian guesthouse two months prior.
Israeli officials confirmed for the first time they killed another
top Hamas leader, Mohammed Diff in an airstrike three weeks ago.
Speaker 9 (07:16):
As Fox's Trey yinst is five oh seven. Now, you
know that American kids are ditching college and enrolling in
trade schools in ever larger numbers.
Speaker 22 (07:26):
It is someplace where they can get great jobs, not
have a huge debt. And it's something that our society
has been missing for a long time. We've had been
so focused on sending everybody to college, we've let the
trades drop.
Speaker 9 (07:40):
Jim Dutton of kgih's Texas Home Improvement show, he says
trade school hires are also more productive, and they're more
on time than college grads. You know that, Well, those
employees are show up another.
Speaker 4 (07:56):
Word, They wake up before twelve now, yeah, and they.
Speaker 8 (07:59):

Speaker 1 (08:23):
Youth Radio seventy forty KTRH.
Speaker 3 (08:27):
I started thinking about this about the eighth phone call
I got yesterday from a spoof number from area code
eight zero four. I still have my eight zero four phone,
and the number one reason why I kept it is
because everybody I know in the eight zero four area code,
their name will pop up. So if a call comes
from eight zero four, I know it's somebody trying to
(08:48):
sell me something. Eight of them yesterday. I suspect that
the Great State of Texas has been the one that
has been providing my name and number to people. So
I'm going to introduce a piece of legislation on I'm
going to try to find somebody in the state legislature
to sponsor a bill that would make it illegal for
any government entity in the Great State of Texas to
(09:10):
sell your personal information.
Speaker 4 (09:12):
Boom.
Speaker 8 (09:13):
I'll also just attribute it to some sort of hack.
Speaker 3 (09:16):
Yeah, well, I think I'm gonna make this a personal crusade.
What got me started on all this actually was a
best of story. The Taco bell is making the transition
and all of it's drive ins, it's drive throughs for
ordering purposes to artificial intelligence. Pretty soon, you won't be
talking to a person when you push that button to
(09:37):
place your order. You'll be talking to AI. In AI
will place the order for you. And I was thinking,
would I rather talk to a real person or would
I rather talk to a call center real person? Or
would I rather talk to AI? And I decided I
think I'd rather talk to AI because I think AI
will be easier for me to understand when I go
through drive through speakers are notoriously bad to begin with.
(10:00):
Most of the people who work in the in the
drive through section, A lot of these restaurants are foreign born,
and they have accents. So you add the accent to
the bad speaker quality, and your hearing is going and you're, well,
you had to bring that up, didn't you share it?
And you throw you throw all that together, and it's like,
excuse me, what? So I've decided why so I think
(10:24):
I'd rather talk to artificial intelligence. Also, I don't artificial
intelligence will not be upset with me, but I tell
them to f off when when when I accidentally answered
the phone, it's something that.
Speaker 9 (10:35):
You would blame the government. You use your phone in
your car, do you talk to your phone in the car.
Speaker 3 (10:44):
Reason why I blame the government is because I get
these rash of phone calls every time I do a
piece of government business like registered by vehicle, apply for
a driver's license. That's that's when I get all these
rash of phone calls. That's when it always starts in
and it gradually fades away because I won't answer the phone,
and then it'll come back again after I've done a
(11:05):
transaction with the state of state government. So that's why
I think there's a correlation there. I'll get to the
bottom of it, though. I'm gonna find out what's going
on five eleven High for traffic and weather together. At least,
don't any crank calls from USKA.
Speaker 5 (11:18):
Well, I don't hold your bread there, And I'll tell
you we beat the pants off of AI here because
we bring you information you just can't input into some
kind of digital thing.
Speaker 4 (11:28):
I don't know where it comes from. In some places, we've.
Speaker 5 (11:30):
Got I forty five North Freeway. Let's go downtown. First
of all, you know, Jimmy, I know how tall I am.
Why don't some of these it's not very much. You
don't even need the two yardsticks, But why don't some
of these drivers know their height when they go under
the Houston Avenue Bridge on the Katie Freeway inbound.
Speaker 4 (11:46):
There we go. We've hit the bottom of the bridge.
Speaker 5 (11:48):
Now we've got to check it out and make sure
the bridge is stable and all that. Here's the tech
dot cruise. Here's the construction. Here's HPD flashing lights to
right lanes. This is inbound. You get up this early,
you can get right around it and get to the President's.
It's interesting, but it's not a big backup yet. This
is both interesting and a big backup. It's North Freeway southbound.
(12:08):
I've got a drag here. Do you have Russ from
Spring again? Russ Spring Dude?
Speaker 23 (12:12):
Hey, Sky Mike Hey.
Speaker 10 (12:13):
Here at forty five and Cavalcade.
Speaker 24 (12:15):
Looks like there's some roade construction going on.
Speaker 10 (12:18):
Everything squeezed down and we already stopped all right.
Speaker 5 (12:21):
The North Freeway both ways looking bad. And also that
interchange ramp that goes from the north loop six '
to ten westbound. We call it to squeeze because it's
two lanes both ways. You can't get on the ramp
to go downtown. I don't know what's special about this.
We'll find out at five twenty the Generator Supercenter, dot
Com Traffic.
Speaker 3 (12:39):
Center from r KTRH top Tax Defenders twenty four hour

you know, storm path of this latest probable tropical system,
and this one seems to be jogging to the left.
Speaker 4 (12:55):

Speaker 25 (12:58):
Well, okay, So any of our listeners that haven't been
watching the Atlantic, like Ahawk, it's a little tropical wave

tropical depression or even a tropical storm.
Speaker 14 (13:12):

big time controversy at the Olympics yesterday were a trans
athlete competing in women's boxing beat the crap out of
an actual woman boxer for about forty six seconds.
Speaker 4 (14:34):
They had to stop the fight. The Italian quit she
was getting beat up.
Speaker 9 (14:38):
She was getting Yeah, they've made an Olympic sport now
to beat up women.
Speaker 3 (14:42):

Both of all the sports you can participate in where
the difference between a man and a woman is couldn't
be any more obvious than the world of fighting and boxing.
I mean, we're talking about somebody getting hurt here, We're
talking about a man beating up a woman. Is that
what this has come to? Evidently, here is the International
(17:20):
Olympic Committee explaining why they're allowing not one, but two
trans athletes compete in women's boxing, and some response on
the other end from turning points Charlie Kirk.
Speaker 27 (17:32):
Or women in their passports, and it stated that that
is the case that they are female.
Speaker 7 (17:39):
They're competing women's category. Again.
Speaker 27 (17:42):
I don't want to mention the names or whatever, but
these athletes have competed many times before for many years.
Speaker 7 (17:49):
It's a total injustice.
Speaker 28 (17:51):
I was just reading a USA Today piece right right
when I was preparing for this, and in the USA
Today piece, it's very confusing if you don't.
Speaker 7 (17:57):
Actually know the story.
Speaker 28 (17:57):
It says woman from Algeria wins decisive bouts with woman
with it from Italy. They refuse to even now say
transgender woman, which is a fake term. But they don't
even say transgender woman anymore. They just say woman. The
New York Times.
Speaker 7 (18:14):
Has a has a title they say.
Speaker 28 (18:16):
At the center of the chromosoon dispute, that's what they
now call it the chromosoone dispute. What they're trying to
do is confuse readers so that people don't get animated
and get upset about this. And people say, well, that
does make a lot of sense. I'm just gonna move
on to the next story. Or there must be more
to this, or maybe it was somebody that has is
intersects or has some sort of a chromosomal an extra
(18:39):
chromosome er.
Speaker 4 (18:40):
I don't know.
Speaker 28 (18:41):
Instead, this is a biological man from Algeria, which is
it's an interesting part of the story because that is
a Muslim country and why they're also supporting this is
kind of bizarre and strange, but that's that's a side
issue at the IOC. But we should expect this. This
is the next logical step of America is influence in
the world.
Speaker 7 (19:02):
We are the leaders of the world.
Speaker 28 (19:04):
We have workshops trans ideology and men in female sports.
And it started here and now it's in the Olympic
boxing and the Olympic platform.
Speaker 3 (19:16):
Unreal, unreal, And do you think by the way that
the network who covers the Olympics, who has the Olympics, NBC,
do you think that they are in any way covering
this story. No, no, there is woke as any network
could possibly be, and even if they weren't, it's woke
as you could humanly possibly be. They're not going to
(19:38):
do anything to upset the Olympic Committee because they have
the rights to the Olympics and they don't want to
jeopardize that.
Speaker 4 (19:45):
Five.
Speaker 3 (19:46):
Time to take a look at your money, Hordy Donahoe's here.

right now, down three hundred and seventy points.
Speaker 29 (19:58):
It continues to move lower in the lead up to
this morning's July jobs report. The data is expected to
show a softening in the labor market. Economists estimate about
one hundred and seventy five thousand workers were added to
the payrolls last month. Amazon also reported earning, said disappointed investors.
The company says that profits for now we'll take a

start to like Kamala.
Speaker 4 (24:22):
I think we're seeing the media machine.
Speaker 23 (24:25):
Has done a very good job for Kamala to make
her seem halfway likable, which is the only reason why
to me, there's still a race.
Speaker 9 (24:32):
He believes is really an election of those who like

Speaker 32 (25:23):
However, and the deal's very complex because it just came out,
so nobody understands the deal iet and they make it complex,
so you can't understand how bad the deal is for US.
Speaker 9 (25:33):
Yeah, other nations, dissidents, et cetera. They are about sixteen
released in a trade for a bunch of Russian killers
and assassins. Gerskevich had been held in Russia for sixteen months,
Wheeland since twenty eighteen, and of course that swap led
to the rare Joe Biden siding and more of his lies.
Speaker 33 (25:56):
Said repeat age that.
Speaker 26 (25:57):
He could have gotten that hostages out without giving anything
in exchange.
Speaker 5 (26:02):
What do you say to that, what do you say
to President Trump?
Speaker 7 (26:04):
Now to former president why.
Speaker 23 (26:06):
Didn't he do?
Speaker 7 (26:07):
Who is president?
Speaker 9 (26:08):
Well, actually two of those Americans freed by Russia were
taken on Joe Biden's watch.
Speaker 8 (26:15):
It is now five thirty five.
Speaker 9 (26:17):
Biden Harris administration canceling an offshore wind energy project that

say that would have produced thirty gigawatts annually by twenty thirty.
Speaker 23 (26:40):
Oh.
Speaker 9 (26:41):
Yeah, power system of wind turbines. Something to consider when
you buy your next car. Here, GM, Honda, Hyundai have
all been accused of selling customer vehicle data to third parties,
including data brokers. Privacy expert David Malicote not surprised.
Speaker 34 (27:03):
Anytime that you have data collected anywhere, you know, you
become the product. So in this case, it's interesting that
this is called out specifically.
Speaker 7 (27:11):
So overall happens all the time.
Speaker 34 (27:13):
I think it's I think it's just people don't realize
when it's happening.
Speaker 9 (27:16):
Honestly, Malaco says, a US government buys this sort of
data all the time, using it, they say, mostly for
law enforcement purposes. No, it's surveillance. It's spying on Americans.
The July jobs report will be released at seven thirty
this morning. It's expected to show further cooling in the
(27:37):
labor market. We're going to get revised numbers for June
as well. That's what they do, you know. Apparently allegedly
the economy added two hundred and six thousand jobs in June,
but they're going to revise it. Rural towns have been
fighting to stay economically sound. Under this president's and administration's watch.
Speaker 35 (28:00):
Rural areas across the country are falling behind due to
high cost of living and people moving to other cities
in towns.
Speaker 36 (28:07):
I think that rural areas are going to need to
think about what are our property taxes, how much worse spinning,
and what the regulations and restrictions are.

This is Houston's Morning News with Jimmy Parent and Sheriff Fryer.
Speaker 3 (29:32):
Five thirty nine is our time. The Wayfair jingle one
of those things that Cutty's like an earworm. It gets
in your head a little bit. Of course, Kelly Clarkson
does their commercials now, but anyway, their big thing is
home furnishings. That's kind of their claim to favor in China. Yeah,
of course, cheap, cheaper prices for cheaper goods made in China.
(29:52):
But they've been a very successful company. However, their CEO
is sending out a warning. He says he is seeing
quote an alarming chain and consumer behavior. These things I
think are kind of important because sometimes the way we
are behaving with our credit and the things that we're
buying or not buying kind of give you a clue
as to what's really going on with the economy. And
(30:16):
he says that he's seeing behavior very similar to two
thousand and eight, two thousand and nine, when we had
the financial crisis going on and unemployment was going up
and people stopped buying houses for a while. See, buying
homes and buying home furnishings kind of go hand in
hand with each other. And when the economy gets kind
(30:37):
of bad, I ask anybody, I'm sure if you were
to ask Mattress Mac for example, you know what their
sales look like during really strong economic times versus economic
times that aren't so strong. Especially when it comes to
home sales. He probably would tell you that there's a
hit that usually goes in the home furnishing business because
that's one of the first things people cut back on buying,
are things like new furniture. So I don't know if
(30:59):
this means that we're headed to sort of sort of
a two thousand and eight two thousand and nine financial
crisis scenario or not, but our buying habits are kind
of going that way. The good news is is that
the thing we did back in two thousand and eight
two thousand and nine that we have not done since
the pandemic is we were put money in our savings accounts.
We were putting money away. We're taking our cautious approach,
(31:20):
preparing for something that might be coming, or concerned that
things could get worse. Therefore, we're preparing for that brainy
so called rainy day, and that's a good thing to
be prepared for any day. Five forty time for traffic
and weather. Together, we're checking out the drive once again.
Here's sky Mike.
Speaker 4 (31:35):
I'm typing here, Jimmy.
Speaker 5 (31:36):
So we're struggling to get this North thing into your
end car navigation. Here me and my work wife, Christina Kruz.
Here's the deal. Six point ten North is closed. The
ramps are closed both ways that take you downtown. Now,
of course, you could still go through if you're trying
to go around, if you're trying to go from the
East tex over toward the heights, or if you're going
through the heights heading back toward the truck stops at Wallaceville.
Speaker 4 (31:58):
You're good to go.
Speaker 5 (31:59):
The trick is you can't do the REMP that goes downtown.
You can go northbound and then bust a U turn,
put on your bulletproof vest and take cross timbers. But
you can go back around this way. Also North Freeway.
Let me check camera two one four for those of
you play in the home game. Two right lanes, two
left lanes look to be getting by then it squeezes
down to one lane at the loop.
Speaker 4 (32:20):
All right, either way, let's don't do the North Freeway.
Speaker 5 (32:23):
At the North Loop, they're telling me it's gonna be
like that till six Mark from Springs.
Speaker 4 (32:27):

I know West Lake Houston Parkway. Also it in downtown.
Speaker 5 (32:43):
We're missing two lanes at Houston Avenue Northwest.
Speaker 4 (32:47):
Oh, no, no way.
Speaker 15 (32:49):
Here, two nine coming in.
Speaker 7 (32:52):

Speaker 14 (33:13):

Speaker 8 (33:14):
The National Hurricane Center has been watching this.
Speaker 25 (33:16):
We have been as well. It's a tropical wave approaching Cuba,
headed into the eastern Gulf of Mexico, and the National
Hurricane Center is saying that there's an eighty percent chance
of formation in the next seven days. Now here's the deal.
In the next couple of days, it's making its way
into Florida and then we'll be moving inland, so we'll
see how organized it gets. But Florida is on alert
(33:40):
for the potential for some sort of tropical system and
obviously some heavy rain. That's going to be the main
concern at the moment for us, we hardly have any
rain at all. We have plenty of heat and humidity though,
and a heat advisory today and through tomorrow. Temperatures today
generally in the low to upper nineties are heat and
disease of course, will be in the triple digits, generally
(34:01):
between one oh five to one ten tomorrow at twenty
percent chants of thunderstorms, thirty percent chance of rain Sunday,
twenty percent chance of rain Monday, no rain Tuesday.
Speaker 7 (34:12):
You get the idea.

You know, we'd like to think that when it comes
time in November to vote, we're going to vote for
the candidate who we believe is on the right side
of the issues, and that we know what the issues
are and which issues are important to us. But at
the end of the day, is it issues or is
it more about who do you like the candidate's personality more?
(34:53):
For a lot of people, unfortunately, it's about their personality.
More on that story coming up next. First, though, traffic
and whether togethers. We check out the drive again her
sky mine. We're Katie downtown. How do they fix that
so fast? I guess the truck didn't hit the bridge
that hard.
Speaker 5 (35:06):
It's Katie Freeway inbound at Houston Avenue. Now we've got
kind of a smash from Heights Boulevard coming in. They
had to reopen those two right lanes over. It was
a too tall truck, but that's clear. Northwest side looks
good to ninety. I got my caller in a moment ago.

Speaker 6 (37:29):

Speaker 7 (37:31):
So is it really about personality?
Speaker 3 (37:33):
Maybe it is? Maybe it is. You know, for people
who don't like Donald Trump, it usually is his personality
that turns them off. But you'd like to think that
I don't need to like personally the president of the
United States. I need to respect him, and I need
to like where he stands on the issues. But that's
just me. Anthony Russo joins this political commentator. If you
(37:53):
had to put a percentage on and Anthony, how many
people do you think vote based on personality more than
on the issues?
Speaker 23 (38:00):
A man in today's day and age, would I would
go eighty percent or more, Wow.
Speaker 4 (38:05):
Possibly even higher. That's why I think the most important
voting block.
Speaker 23 (38:09):
Is that five to ten percent that each election goes
either direction based on the issues. The rest I mean,
I'd have to say, the cult personality when it comes
to the president, specifically the president, I think is higher
than any other voting voting a stage or block.
Speaker 9 (38:26):
Okay, So we have a very interesting situation right now
in that Kamala Harris prior to her coronation this week
was the most disliked vice president basically since polls were taken.
Speaker 8 (38:42):
And now all of a sudden, is this going to
affect the.
Speaker 23 (38:45):
Vote in terms of you know, the cult personality theory
I think is an interesting one to look at specifically
with Kamala Harris, because it's still the reason why I
think it's so high specifically going into this election is
because of Trump, because of Harris.
Speaker 7 (39:03):
People that somehow.
Speaker 23 (39:06):
In the last two weeks, the mainstream media has found
a way to make Kamala Harris likable enough to actually
be a candidate. They'll say, here's our choice, here's Kamala Harris.
But the true cult personality in this case is whether
you do like or dislike Donald Trump. So the culture.
Personality is very true, just more specifically to Donald Trump
(39:30):
in this case. But what they've done to polish up
that bag of whatever of Kamala Harris last two weeks
shows that they have actually created kind of this weird
cult following for a woman that two and a half
weeks ago is number ten on the list of potential
candidates for VP or for a fight or I'm sorry
to replace Joe Biden's president.
Speaker 4 (39:49):
All right, well what happens If you don't like the
personality of either candidate.
Speaker 23 (39:54):
Well then you got you can look at RFK. But honestly,
I think that one always outweighs the other. You can
have a conversation with somebody like, I know you don't
like your who's your lesser of two evils? And whenever
the word evil comes up, you're starting to typically in
today's world, you're gonna hear Trump is the more evil,
which is which is painful? And I'm gonna be honest,
this is what I've noticed, This is what this is
(40:15):
what I had an epiphany in the last couple of days.
The reason why Kamala Harris is a dangerous candidate is
because of something we don't ever see. She didn't have
to primary. And I know that sounds simple on the surface,
but what happens when you primary is you have to
take platform issues that are that are far towards your
(40:37):
side's base. So it's like Donald Trump did an impressive
job to try to avoid the abortion pro life issue,
But if you're going to be a candidate for the
conservative side, you're gonna have to talk about stuff like that.
If you are a pro choice candidate, most likely you're
not going to be able to get the denomination from
the right, whereas from the left, you go through the
whole process and you have to put all these far
(40:58):
left ideas out there, like you know, gun buybacks, which
is something mandatory gun buybacks, which is something Kamala Harris
has talked about in the past.
Speaker 4 (41:05):
She didn't have to primary on it, and then now.
Speaker 23 (41:07):
She could just say that's an old issue for her,
she doesn't agree anymore. Getting rid of ice doesn't have
to I don't feel that way anymore. So all these
things are something that her campaign has come out with
in the last five to seven days that essentially shows
the fact that if you don't primary, you get to
look like a moderate candidate. If you want to It's
a very dangerous position for somebody to be in when
(41:29):
they never had to actually set up a platform for
the last year in order to get their party nomination.
Speaker 9 (41:35):
With the ass from the mainstream media who are all
on her camp ap saying she's calibrating, She's not lying,
she's calibrating.
Speaker 3 (41:44):

The office for work, and therefore they are trying to
get away with anything they can to be.

Road KTRH, time saving traffic. Connext on the ten love
the Southern accent.
Speaker 3 (49:29):
I don't really care much for a fake one, especially
especially when it comes from a Democratic candidate. Why do
they all like to fake a Southern accent or pretend
there's somebody they're not. Are they ashamed of who they
really are? Anyway? If you haven't heard Kamala trying to
sound like she's from Atlanta, Georgia, yet, here's a little
clip of that in some reaction they were talking about
(49:50):
on The Gutville Show Comedium. Jim Norton reacted to it
on The Gutville Show last night.
Speaker 12 (49:55):
You will help this win in twenty twenty and we
won't do it again in twenty twenty four.
Speaker 38 (50:05):
I remember Hillary, and she was doing some speech and
it was and she and it was in front of
a black audience, and she changed her accent.
Speaker 4 (50:12):
I don't feel no ways tie.
Speaker 38 (50:14):
It was a really awful And I don't understand what
it is about people who want to rule the free world.
Speaker 14 (50:20):
They have such a weird sense of self.
Speaker 38 (50:22):
Yeah, they use a fitting in technique that I use
when I was a freshman in high school. How do
you not have any idea of your own identity enough
to be comfortable?
Speaker 4 (50:31):
Like?
Speaker 38 (50:32):
And I don't mind if people hate Trump, but the
bottom line is he is the same guy e free room.
Speaker 29 (50:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 14 (50:37):
Can you picture him doing this?
Speaker 7 (50:38):
You know, yell it?
Speaker 3 (50:44):
At least if he did, I think he'd be smart
enough to say y'all instead of you all. Just what
Kamala did and you can focused on an accent. He
was like you all six ' ten type of traffic
and weather together show with my southern accent, Jimmy. I mean,
you know, when I DJ for our Sister's Day in St.
Louis and Minneapolis, I know they're like, yo, text, what'd
you do with the radio hesitancy to take the accent
(51:05):
out of all of us. We're trying, I mean, we're
trying here. I've got your North Freeway side.
Speaker 5 (51:10):
This is still down to looking at camera two one four, Yeah,
still down to one lane.
Speaker 4 (51:15):
That's getting messier.
Speaker 5 (51:16):
If they don't get this up sooner, it's going to
get ugly on the North Freeway. Let's go ahead and
skip over to the east text for now. If you're
trying to come inbound, backups all the way from Little
York southbound. Also, as Mark from Spring reminded me, a
Taska city, a Taskasonians. If you're trying to come down
the Beltway to get around that, you've got the roadwork
at west Lake Houston Parkway.
Speaker 4 (51:37):
For now, you can get through that. It is two lanes.
Speaker 5 (51:40):
We've got the north sam westbound all Dean Westfield that
is two lanes closed here it's roadwork and that back
up around Imperial Valley starting again this morning.
Speaker 4 (51:50):
That's left lane. We did clear.
Speaker 5 (51:52):
If you just woke up that road work they had
from the overnight. It in downtown Houston Avenue. It was
a two tall truck hit the bridge. That's out of
the way. Katie's looking really good for now. Toll bridge
suckage about an extra six minutes on the southbound for now,
I'm going to yield to the general lady from Georgia
on the Generator Supercenter dot Com traffic Center, I do declare.
Speaker 3 (52:12):

what could become DEBI.
Speaker 7 (52:23):
And fiddle d D. We are watching trouble.
Speaker 4 (52:28):
I have the vapors.
Speaker 25 (52:32):
Ah, well, it's just a wave. That's the good thing
right now. And it's approaching Cuba, headed toward the Gulf
of Mexico. Looks like it's going to stay on the
eastern side of the Gulf of Mexico. Whatever it becomes,
it could develop into a tropical depression, or it may
strengthen further. The Hurricane Center is watching it closely. In fact,
they're going to go flying around inside of that sometime
(52:54):
later on today. But heavy rain, that's the main concern
at this point with whatever that tropical wave does do.
Now we're on the back side of that wave, so
we've got the dry air in place, and our chances
of rain are limited. In fact, no rain today, just
heat and humidity. Temperatures in the nineties one eight to
one twelve. The heat indecks heat advisory today and heat
(53:15):
advisory tomorrow. There is a twenty percent chance of rain tomorrow,
thirty percent chance of thunder store of Sunday. Expect the
temperatures mainly in the nineties, but some places close to
one hundred.

So the mayor has appointed a new chief of Police.
I guess we'll get a chance to meet him today,
although he won't have much of a drive to get
into town because he was the KD police chief Noids.
We'll find out more about NOE and see if Mike Knox,
the former HPD officer and city council member, agrees with
the mayor's decision to hire Knowing first though traffic and

sky Mike.
Speaker 5 (54:07):
Okay, so mister DZ is a visor. We'll check his
side of the world. Here Katie Freeway. You look nice.
We did clear that problem downtown with the two tall
truck it hit the Houston Avenue bridge. Apparently they think
it's okay, so the lanes are open. I bet they
come back in a week or so and do a
big closure. For now, just twenty six minutes and North
side's a mess. You've got North Freeway down to one
lane at the loops. Some overnight roadwork. Also, the ramps
(54:30):
both ways from six to ten that take you downtown,
those are closed now.
Speaker 4 (54:34):
You have to go up to cross Timbers bus to you.

Speaker 4 (55:54):
No, we have a new police chief.
Speaker 3 (55:55):
It's No Das, the former chief of police in Katie
joining us to talk about Mike not former HBD officer
and city council member. You think the mayor made a
good decision here? What do you think I do?
Speaker 10 (56:07):
I think he did just fine with this one. You know,
most mayors will do this large hunt and go all
over the place and you know, bring chiefs in from
Timbato to do their their work for him. But he
found this guy real close by sore. It's going to
cost us less to move him back to Houston, probably
won't have to move it all. The other thing is that,
(56:29):
you know, he's a Texas Ranger. I mean, oh, my goodness,
that's great. You know, the Texas Rangers are the epitome
of integrity and the standard of law enforcement in the
state of Texas. And although he's retired, he still carries
that with him as part of his genetic code.
Speaker 24 (56:46):
I'm sure.
Speaker 10 (56:47):
So that's going to bring some some i think, good
professionalism and integrity back to the Houston Police Department, which
will help a lot with the problems we're having with
these two hundred and six dollars two hundred and sixty
thousand cases that were basically shoved in a drawer and
forgotten about.
Speaker 9 (57:06):
Yeah, so this is it was a difficult time of
the choosing one because of the politics that are involved
right now with police and the police department. And yet
he was able to kind of thread that needle very quickly.
Someone who is known noble, has a record and has
(57:28):
this reputation of integrity.
Speaker 10 (57:31):
And he where's a hat. I mean, my goodness, that's great,
big old cowboy hat, that's great.
Speaker 7 (57:38):
You know me, I wear a hat all the time
all the other well, that would be the ranger.
Speaker 8 (57:41):
Look, you know, wouldn't it.
Speaker 10 (57:44):
No, But he's a you know, as far as I
can tell, I don't know him personally, but as far
as I can tell, he's got a great tremendous record.
The troops that worked under him over in Katie Police Department,
the ones that I've talked to, seemed to like him
a lot. They in fact, the uh, they put a
little thing on their Facebook page. I'm going to misshief
so that you don't see that very often. A lot
(58:05):
of times, you'll, you know, we glad to see him
go kind of approach. But but yeah, they're they're the
troops of that he works with right now, considering to
be fair minded and uh, you know, steady, you know,
just a really good guy. So hopefully that'll translate into
the department. It'll lend some of his credibility to the
(58:26):
department and help with some of our community relations in
the neighborhood.
Speaker 3 (58:30):
Well, and hopefully it helps him recruiting too, Mike, because
obviously that's a that's a big issue for the HBDS
to get get more officers in there, and you got
to like where you're going, and you gotta like who
you're going to work for.
Speaker 4 (58:39):
Right, Yeah, that's right.
Speaker 10 (58:42):
Maybe we'll be able to bring some of those Katie
officers over with him. Who knows, but the But yeah,
that's a big problem that The recruiting effort in Houston
is a pretty good one. But you know, every law
enforcement agency in the state is trying to steal from
each other. And you're right, it's about who you work for,
(59:03):
the quality of you know, backup that you get from
your administration, and the pay and benefits. So I think
it's going to overall, it's a really good decision. I'm
happy that he did that, although you know I would
you know, satter White would have been a fine chief too,
but he was too close to the to the problem.
And I think that's that was a good decision on
(59:26):
the mayor's part to pick someone who's at least from
Texas and and with that kind of reputation, I think
it's going to be a good thing for HPD.
Speaker 3 (59:36):
Fresh start, Fresh starts. What you're saying, all right, Mike,
always good to talk to you. Sir, thank you former

That's visit.
Speaker 9 (01:02:56):
The actual border vance was in Arizona yesterday. Three suspected
terrors by the way, recently caught crossing the border into California.
But what about all those terrors we aren't catching.
Speaker 18 (01:03:10):
With so many gotaways. Chances are terrists are already in America.
Speaker 16 (01:03:14):
These are people that are completely trying to get away
from law enforcement authorities at every level. And so yeah,
the risk they're higher now than they've ever been.
Speaker 18 (01:03:22):
Former Acting ICE Director Ron Vittello told KTRH American citizens

some from China, people who are intent to do harm
to the United States in our way of life, terrorists.
Speaker 18 (01:03:36):
Vittello says that to fix this, we're going to need

Texas did get another couple legal wins on our border protection.
A New State judge has thrown out a lawsuit from
the Mayor of New York City, Eric Adams, and will
continue to allow buses with the illegals to go to
that sanctuary from Texas. The state also won a lawsuit
(01:04:04):
against the Biden Harris administration, forcing it to use the
one point four billion dollars already earmarked by Congress to
continue building the wall. Elections heating up. Yeah, it is
because the media and the re working of Kamala Harris.
There's a lot of talk about issues, but does it
(01:04:27):
really even matter at this point?
Speaker 8 (01:04:29):
Some think not.
Speaker 10 (01:04:35):
Sure.
Speaker 14 (01:04:35):
Political commentator Anthony Russo doesn't think so.
Speaker 23 (01:04:40):
As we head into November, what policy play a role,
I highly doubt it. I think the most important thing
is the way people feel about each candidate right now
is going to be very hard to change.
Speaker 14 (01:04:50):
And while most people vote for who they like, Russo says,
not many people like Harris.
Speaker 7 (01:04:56):
It's not even a I like her.
Speaker 4 (01:04:58):
It's not even a her policies are great.
Speaker 7 (01:05:00):
It is a purely an instance up. It's somebody that
is not Donald.
Speaker 14 (01:05:03):
Trump, which is what we are seeing play out with
the mainstream media. Jeff Biggs News Radio seven forty ktr H.
Speaker 9 (01:05:12):
It's six thirty four White House taking a victory lamp
over the prisoners swap with Russia that brings Evan Gerskovich,
Paul Whelan and other Americans back home. Donald Trump says,
you better look closely at what we gave in return.
Speaker 32 (01:05:26):
As usual, it was a win for Putin or any
other country that deals with us, but we got somebody back.
Speaker 7 (01:05:32):
So I'm never going to be challenging that.
Speaker 9 (01:05:35):
Yeah, Trump was on Fox Business. Gerskovich had been held
in Russia for sixteen months, Wheeland since twenty eighteen. And
it all, this whole deal led Biden to come out
of hiding and to take a victory lap, having lost.
Speaker 39 (01:05:50):
Family, not a different way, not in almost happening or
circumstance from their accent health.
Speaker 23 (01:05:57):
That it's a.
Speaker 9 (01:06:01):
Yeah, Biden referencing that uncle who died when his plane
was ditched in World War Two. He claimed he was cannibalized.
You can't make it up. Six thirty five. General Motors
one of three automakers accused of selling consumer data to
third parties. You know, the data they get from the
(01:06:22):
automobiles himself. Some of this information winding up in the
hands of actual data brokers. Privacy expert David Malancot says,
selling data like this it's nothing new.
Speaker 34 (01:06:37):
The US government buys us data all the time, particularly
in the intelligence and law enforcement space, so this is
also not new. It's interesting to me that you have
a couple senators that are kind of going out and
being sensational about with automakers.
Speaker 8 (01:06:51):
GM, Honda, Hyundai.
Speaker 9 (01:06:53):
They sold driver information to a data broker, Virusk, which
has clients in the insurance sector. They're letting your insurance
agents know how you drive. July jobs report will come
out in an hour, and we're looking for revisions from
June as well, when the economy added about two hundred
(01:07:14):
thousand jobs. Market in advance is already tanking again this morning.
Rural towns with older workers, they're losing out on a
young labor force thanks mainly to you guessed it, the economy.
Speaker 36 (01:07:28):
The number of workers who have decided to move other places,
along with the higher cost of living, has made it
more difficult for you know, people to live in a
lot of these communities, and so they've been moving to
other places where it's cheaper, and it's really hollowed out
a lot of the rural communities.
Speaker 9 (01:07:44):
Economists Van skin. He says these areas should consider property
taxes and other ways to attract more people to work,
and they're really pleasant communities. It's now six thirty seven.
We have words now that the Secret Serve is called
a news conference for one o'clock Houston time today under
(01:08:05):
a lot of fire after a whistleblower came forth, and
the Senate is also Senators are also highlighting the fact
that a whistleblower claims that the Secret Service, the acting
director personally pulled the threat assessment agents out.
Speaker 4 (01:08:25):
I think that last video might have done them in too, Sheriff.
Speaker 9 (01:08:27):
Yeah, and that video, so there's a lot that he's
going to have to respond to in this news conference.
We'll see six point thirty seven and has said is

Speaker 3 (01:09:09):
Gordon Shang was on Fox yesterday the Fox Business actually
with Ray and Barbiromo, and they were talking about They
start by talking about whether or not a Kamala Harris
has any real interest in foreign policy, and then Gordon
gives his assessment of where we are at as far
as our US military are we prepared for a global conflict?
Speaker 4 (01:09:28):
Let's listen, Well, we only.
Speaker 40 (01:09:30):
Have fleeting glimpses because she's not really that interested. We
know that from Seymour Hirsch's reporting that she ordered the
Office of the Director of National Intelligence not to deliver
to her the President's daily brief that's the morning intelligence
briefing that the president gets every single morning.
Speaker 8 (01:09:47):
Why does she say don't deliver it?
Speaker 40 (01:09:48):
I understand because I guess she's just not that interested
in it, which means that if she's going to get
that three am proverbial call, you know, the one of
a crisis someplace in the world, she's I'm not going
to know how to answer it. I mean, she has
been just mouthing talking points there are no talking points
for a three am call. And by the way, there
will be a three am call early on our presidency
(01:10:11):
because China almost always tests a new American president. You know,
at the end of the Cold War, we had a
doctrine of basically being able to fight two major wars
and a minor insurgency. Now we can't fight even one
major war. We have a military which is under investor
during the Biden years because budgets have been going down
(01:10:31):
when you take into account inflation, and they're not training
war fighting, they're training DEI. I mean, we've got a
Navy which is just in calamitous condition. Air Force lacks management.
The only branch of the US military that's doing well
is the Marine Corps, and they are not going to
be a major factor in a war with China.
Speaker 4 (01:10:50):
Well, there you go.
Speaker 3 (01:10:51):
That doesn't sound like a very good assessment for either
Kalia Harris's interest in China or our ability to fight
a war against them if it ever came to that
time for traffic and weather together, as you discovered, something's
kind of mine.
Speaker 4 (01:11:05):
Linda from Spring gave me. She was like, well, this guy, Mike,
why is it so slow on the.
Speaker 5 (01:11:09):
North Loop six ten, and I thought, you know, because
we've been talking about that ramp construction on six to
ten northwestbound at forty five, because Linda talks like that westbound.
Speaker 4 (01:11:18):
That's a big pack up.
Speaker 5 (01:11:20):
We've got another problem hidden in there, and that's what's
making this so big. There's a wreck at the Hearty
Austin from Cyprus just rolled by it. It's two left lanes.
I'm letting the rest of the media know right now.
I'll let the ladies on TV know the backups from
East text.
Speaker 13 (01:11:33):
You know.
Speaker 5 (01:11:33):
At first here they're clearing something clear North Freeway, Little York.
There was a minor accident there that was southbound North Freeway.
They have now reopened, double checked that real quick North
Loop six ten. I'm under pressure, scrambling here. Looks like
they've cleared the roadwork at the north Loop six ten,
so we're good to go. Stay the course there North
Sam roadwork at Aldean Westfield. I'm gonna throw a tip
(01:11:55):
line in here. I've got John from Sebastopol.
Speaker 10 (01:11:58):

Kamala wanting compare her record to his record, which he
would be more than happy to do. They'll follow up

Speaker 39 (01:16:05):
In one of the most astoundingly phony moments in her
speech last night, Kamala Harris Bragg did quote, I will
proudly put my record against Donald Trump's. Any day of
the week, I will put it against Donald Trump. This
got one of the worst records in anywhere.
Speaker 7 (01:16:26):
Well, Kamala, let's go. Challenge accepted.
Speaker 39 (01:16:28):
Are you ready?
Speaker 7 (01:16:29):
On the one hand, you have a radical.
Speaker 39 (01:16:32):
Left puppet candidate who is fake, fake fake.
Speaker 7 (01:16:36):
And on the other.
Speaker 39 (01:16:36):

Has a record that says I want to.
Speaker 41 (01:16:49):
Get rid of vice, private health care, guns, and then says, actually,
I don't believe any of that. It's like Trump coming
out tomorrow and saying We're not gonna do the wall
and we're gonna raise taxes.
Speaker 13 (01:17:05):
What.
Speaker 41 (01:17:05):
No, And so the media usually would be curious, why
what happened here? No, they're scrubbing the internet from this stuff.
And then they're censoring pictures of Donald Trump and searches
for Donald Trump. And the Democratic Party doesn't even care.
Speaker 7 (01:17:22):
The Democratic Party.
Speaker 41 (01:17:23):
Doesn't care what her beliefs were, what she believes now,
they don't even know her record.

To see these.

Interviews of these people that go to the rallies. Don't

You can't afford rent, you can't afford house pies, illegals,

Speaker 4 (01:17:45):
It's a mess.
Speaker 41 (01:17:46):
You look at Trump's record, guys, an American hero, you
had peace and prosperity. People are like long for the
days of four years to go Donald Trump.
Speaker 7 (01:17:55):
They were better off four years.
Speaker 41 (01:17:56):
Ago and he just dodged an assassin's bullet and he

it is because we are so corrupt and stupid as
a country.
Speaker 3 (01:18:10):
And as we discovered earlier, maybe eighty percent or more
of us vote based on personality. Do we like that
person or not?
Speaker 8 (01:18:17):
Yeah, but you know.
Speaker 9 (01:18:17):
There there are stupid people who get fooled by all
of this media stuff. One of the things we you
point out every appearance she's made has not been Kamala alone,
has been on behalf of something. Sure, she's gone to
a DEI group, Dei groups, even the big ones she
had in Atlanta. People weren't going to see Kamala Harris.
(01:18:38):
They were going to see the rock group, the band,
you know, the musicians, the female musicians. A lot of
people left once some music was over. There you go,

Who wants the men and women's sports policy? Who wants
to quadruple the taxes? The whole thing is weird, And
the way they do elections is weird.

Now they're the weird ones.
Speaker 9 (01:22:16):
President Donald Trump on KTRH exposing Kamala Harris for her
radical policies. Now, Democrats have started their virtual Role Call
now to nominate their only candidate, Kamala Harris for president.
The role call concludes on Monday at Harris yet to
hold a news conference or take any questions. So what
(01:22:37):
exactly is her economic platform?
Speaker 14 (01:22:42):
Sure, it's a question that I ask the former director
of the Congressional Budget Office, Douglas Holtz Aiken.
Speaker 15 (01:22:49):
I think the easiest answer is it is the Biden
administration economic record.
Speaker 16 (01:22:53):
She has defended it at every turn.
Speaker 15 (01:22:55):
She has part of the administration, and she owns this record.
Speaker 14 (01:22:58):
So how will her record compare with Biden's?
Speaker 6 (01:23:02):
If we judge her by.
Speaker 15 (01:23:03):
Her history, she would be the Biden administration somewhat on steroids,
bigger spending, more taxes.
Speaker 14 (01:23:08):
Jeff Biggs, News Radio seven, katrh.
Speaker 9 (01:23:12):
Yeah, Harris, just like Joe Biden, is bragging about letting
the Trump tax cuts expire. Trump's tax cuts expire next year.
America's for Tax Reform President Gorvern Grover Norquist says it's
just the start of commonnomics.
Speaker 17 (01:23:30):
She wants to tax energy, she wants another payroll tax.
She wants to have attacks on growing small businesses. She
wants to have attacks every time you have a transaction
with the bank. She wants to tax the increase in
property values if people's assets go up.
Speaker 9 (01:23:44):
He says, Harris's policies are going to take another three
to four trillion dollars out of American's hands and place
them at the behest of the government. It is now
seven oh four. Harris has trying to mask her radical
views these last two weeks. Associated Press, instead of calling
it lying as we do, has labeled it calibrating. Another
(01:24:08):
example of how mainstream media and the now radical leftist
Democrat Party are in lockstep.
Speaker 18 (01:24:14):
These institutions are all being ran by the same elite leftists.
Speaker 6 (01:24:18):
When they get into positions of power, they employ those
ideologies in the way that they do their jobs.
Speaker 18 (01:24:25):
Political analyst Vladavidik says this ideological unity gives the Democrats
the exact fuel that they need.

even happened, even as a whistleblower has accused the now
acting Secret Service director he was deputy director, Ronald Rowe,
of reducing all of the counter surveillance before the murderous attack.
(01:25:06):
Not only that, you now have calls that he personally
called that Secret Services called a news conference for one
pm hour time this afternoon. Do not know the subject
of that. Here at home, Houston Mayor John Whitmyer picking

Speaker 4 (01:28:29):
Nothing.
Speaker 3 (01:28:30):
How about that. You know, we talked a little bit
earlier about it certain categories when things start to go
a little soft in the economy and people start worrying
about spending money, you know, some of the first places
where they stop spending money or things like furniture and
TVs and you know, those those items that they feel
like they can put off or they don't need to buy.
Speaker 8 (01:28:47):
Don't have much choice when the appliance is start going out.

But you know, I just kind of have to wonder,
you know, the ways we start to see more and
more of these types of businesses that specialize in those
types of items starting to have problems, financial problems or
going out of business. If that's just not to yet
another sign of where we're kind of going with this

By the way, I'm super easy to find Baker to

it is causing a lot of squash monkery. If you're

And if you could do stuff via the Hartman Bridge,
go through Old Baytown and that's a way to get

weather event that could be impacting the United States. Run
What Monday, Well.
Speaker 8 (01:30:50):
It could be as early as Saturday.
Speaker 25 (01:30:53):
Actually, Jimmy's talking about this tropical wave that the National
Hurricane Center has been monitoring for a while. It's at
the far eastern end of Cuba at the moment and
is likely to develop in or get better organized. Could
be a tropical depression, maybe even a storm. So everybody's
(01:31:13):
got a close eye on it, regardless of what it
does or whatever they call it. It's making its way
into the eastern Gulf of Mexico, and so it looks
like Florida is going to get the brunt of this
for probably an extended period of time.
Speaker 8 (01:31:26):
So very heavy rain is the main issue.
Speaker 25 (01:31:29):
Flooding obviously a concern, and that's on the west coast
of Florida and even up toward the Panhandle.
Speaker 7 (01:31:34):
So we're watching it for us.
Speaker 25 (01:31:36):
It kind of just reinforces this very dry weather pattern
that we do have. There's hardly any rain over the weekend,
but we've got plenty of heat and humidity. So heat
advisory today through tomorrow. Evening temperatures today in the nineties,
tomorrow low nineties to near one hundred. There's a twenty
percent chance of a thunderstorm tomorrow, thirty percent chance of
(01:31:56):
more rain on Sunday. Will be in the nineties on Sunday,

you look at the whole variety of MSNBC, NBC, ABC, CBS.
Speaker 3 (01:32:36):

Speaker 1 (01:34:28):
Keeping you women know all the information in real time
and again the now right now News Radio seven JTRH.
Speaker 3 (01:34:38):
Problem is is the media is picking the winners and
the losers these days. Lad Davidiak joins us political analyst.
You know the politics of the mainstream media. I don't
think there's any better examples, not just candidate is running
for office flat. I think what happened at the Olympics
yesterday is a perfect example of a biological male participating
in the Olympics in women's boxing being the snot out
(01:34:59):
of the poor woman from Italy for about forty six
seconds so that she had to withdraw. And the only
people reporting it are people like Fox. Nobody on the
left is reporting, and certainly NBC is not going to report.
Speaker 4 (01:35:10):
It, are they.
Speaker 6 (01:35:12):
No, the left doesn't ever report on miserable, abject failures
of its agenda. We didn't hear about a company like
Solindra going under after they've got five hundred billion dollars
in a federal government from NBC or the major networks.
We heard about it first from Fox and other conservative outlets.
(01:35:33):
The truth always emerges from that side because it's contrary
to their agenda. It's contrary to what they want to propose,
and it makes them look bad. So they understand that
it's not going to be say anyone to highlight.
Speaker 9 (01:35:45):
Meantime, Biden's Title nine rules allowing this to go on
in the United States went into effect on Thursday.
Speaker 8 (01:35:53):
Kind of bad timing for him.
Speaker 9 (01:35:55):
Of course, we have what is it twenty three or
twenty six states that have already stop that they've got
they've got a ban on the ban and so I
mean they've banned it. Uh so texted one of them.
But this is all just the narrative, isn't it.
Speaker 6 (01:36:13):
Well, Yeah, the look the left pushes an unconstitutional agenda,
and they're working to undermine free speech, and they're pushing
to support government control over all of these aspects, especially
political discourse. They're trying to socially engineer American society to
fit into their worldview. They're not content with reality, they're
(01:36:36):
not content with natural human development, and based on our
values and based on timeless principles, they want to socially
engineer us to fit into the mold that they have
in mind. That that's that's one thing that the Left
have consistently done. They've used power to corral people and
(01:36:57):
force people and force our society to align with their goals,
which is to advance their political agenda.
Speaker 3 (01:37:04):
You know, Glad I used to naively think that advertisers
would rise up and they would protest against all this,
and these networks would change their minds because they realized
that it was costing them too much money. But the
reality is, corporate America has become about as woke as
the networks god become it. It feels like a snowball
rolling downhill and there's just no way to stop it.
Speaker 6 (01:37:26):
Well, what we have seen over time, especially over the
last thirty years or so, is that the left controls
mainstream media. The left controls Hollywood, academia, the federal bureaucracy,
and that's not enough. They want complete control. There's an
effort now underway to control the Internet, which is the
last Romanian bastion of American freedom. By expanding regulation on communication,
(01:37:51):
they want to silence opposition. They want to control dissenting views.
The left does not view the Constitution as a governing
principle that limits control of government by of the people.
They view the Constitution as an impediment to their agenda.
Speaker 9 (01:38:10):
The FBI is holding regular meetings now the DOJ with
all the big tech companies in order to censor any
speech that they think might threaten the election.
Speaker 7 (01:38:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (01:38:21):
No, it's a vast amount of hypocrisy and media regulation.
The left avoids rules applied to conservative entities while protecting
outlets like The New York Times Washington Posts, the same
rules don't apply. There is a two tier system of
justice in America when it comes to policing speech and
speech that aligns with the left agendas that allowed speech
(01:38:43):
that is obstructive must be silenced. That's what they're doing actively.
Speaker 4 (01:38:47):
Okay, glad, it's always good to hear from you. Thanks.
Speaker 3 (01:38:49):
Political analyst Ladavidiak. It is seven twenty six. It is
time to take a look at your money. Hardy Donajo

Speaker 5 (01:40:41):
I rarely have anything here but southbound right before Grand Parkway.
That is a burned out little work truck. Everybody's fine.
We're missing two right lanes. There's a pretty good squish
going southbound. You've got the roadwork on the north sam
that's westbound Alding Westfield two ninety inbound right at the

Speaker 4 (01:40:59):
Not a good spot for an accent. They're just about

It is time now for the news. Here's Sheriff Ryer.
Speaker 9 (01:41:32):
Good Morning, seven thirty two on news radio seven forty KTRH.
Our tough story this hour.
Speaker 31 (01:41:37):
They stop deportations on day one, They stopped construction of
the border wall on day one.
Speaker 4 (01:41:42):
We see the border wall sitting here ready to.
Speaker 31 (01:41:44):
Be completed behind us, and that can't happen because of
Kamala Harris's administration.
Speaker 8 (01:41:49):
Yep, it won't happen.
Speaker 17 (01:41:50):
JD.
Speaker 9 (01:41:51):
Vans, Donald Trump's running mate, talking about what has to
be done to fix the border crisis created by Joe
Biden and Kamala Harris. Just don't elect them. Senator Advance
was in Arizona yesterday. More people on the FBI terror
watch lists are invading, to the alarm of the former
ICE director Ron Vittello.
Speaker 16 (01:42:10):
The Biden administration has encouraged the third world, including gangsters,
including terrorists, including people who are a real threat to
public safety all over the nation. Come to the country.
Speaker 9 (01:42:19):
Now, the telltelling ktr Age that Americans, besides the criminal
risk that we are facing now, we also have the
added terrorism list risk. Another pair of legal victories, however,
for Texas and trying to protect the border, the state
has won a lawsuit against the Biden Harris administration forcing
(01:42:41):
it to use that one point four billion dollars that
was earmarked by Congress to continue building the wall. New
York State Supreme Court has also rejected a lawsuit that
was brought by the New York City Mayor Eric Adams.
That move allows Texas to keep bussing illegal aliens into
that particular sanctuary city. But the Kamala cover up continues.
(01:43:04):
Mainstream media wants us all to believe that she was
never really the borders are political analyst Anthony Russo says, well,
this election has really become a thing about a cult
of personality and that those people are going to vote
for whom they like.
Speaker 23 (01:43:21):
Ultimately, people aren't going to all of a sudden magically
start to like Kamala. I think we're seeing the media
machine has done a very good job for Kamala to
make her seem halfway likable, which is the only reason
why to me, there's still a race.
Speaker 9 (01:43:34):
But they may vote for her anyway, he says, because
it's really an election of who likes or doesn't like
Donald Trump. It's really all about him. Houston Mayor John
Whitmeyer introduces No Ideas as the new HPD chief this
morning at eleven. He was chief at the police department
in Katie and a retired Texas ranger. Now he places
(01:43:55):
Troy Finner, who retired after the department's suspended case scandal broke.
It is now seven thirty four. The Americans freed from
Russian prison, including Wall Street Journal reporter Evan Gershkovitz and
Marine veteran Paul Wheeland, back on US soil.
Speaker 10 (01:44:10):
Now.
Speaker 9 (01:44:10):
They landed in Kelly Field in San Antonio, Texas overnight.
Speaker 32 (01:44:16):
When you start paying money or when you start making deals,
will you give you know the kind of people these
there's really some tough people that they got back, the toughest,
the toughest in the world.
Speaker 9 (01:44:27):
He's talking about what happened with this multi country exchange
to get these sixteen prisoners of Russia released in return
for what, But Trump would not say that it was
a bad thing to do, because we did get our
Americans home. Gerskovich had been held in Russia for sixteen months,
Wheeland since twenty eighteen, all under of course, it's just
(01:44:54):
a mess. It did lead to a rare Joe Biden
sidning though, and more lies from him.
Speaker 40 (01:45:00):
President Trump has said repeatedly that he could have gotten
that hostages out without giving anything in exchange.
Speaker 36 (01:45:07):
What do you say to that?
Speaker 13 (01:45:08):
What do you say to President Trump now too?
Speaker 35 (01:45:10):
Former president?
Speaker 23 (01:45:11):
Why didn't he do?
Speaker 20 (01:45:11):
His?
Speaker 13 (01:45:12):
President?
Speaker 9 (01:45:14):
Yeah, well, two of those Americans freed by Russia were
actually taken on Joe Biden's watch.
Speaker 8 (01:45:18):
It's now seven thirty six.
Speaker 9 (01:45:20):
Biden Harris administration has canceled an offshore wind energy project
that was planned for Port Arthur and Lake Charles here
part of a larger Noah Plan government plan to turn
seven hundred and thirty thousand aquatic acres into a power
system of wind turbines that would have produced thirty gigawatts
they say annually by twenty thirty. Meantime, Exxon had greater
(01:45:46):
than expected returns on its money and income because of
its huge play in West Texas and producing oil at
unprecedented levels. And we have Chevron now moving its headquarters
to Houston, getting out of California.
Speaker 8 (01:46:05):
But this is where the oil action is. Don't worry.
Speaker 9 (01:46:09):
Something to consider when you buy your next car. General Motors, Honda,
and Hyundai have all been accused of selling customer vehicle
data to third parties, including data brokers OG. We know
that the US government buys this sort of data all
the time, using it, they say, mostly for law enforcement purposes,
(01:46:32):
but a lot of these data brokers are selling it
to insurance companies too, folks. July jobs report is about out,
should be out. Don't know what the numbers are yet,
but we will get those to you in an update.
But they're also revising the numbers from June. The market

Since becoming the presumptive Democrat nominee. She this happens virtually
every time she works without a telepri So my guess
is that we try to limit the possibilities of her
working without a teleprompter. She was talking about the prisoner
exchange of between US and Russia and the importance of diplomacy.
Speaker 43 (01:48:13):
This is just an extraordinary testament to the importance of
having a president who understands the power of diplomacy and
understands the strength that rests in understanding the significance of
diplomacy and strengthening alliance.
Speaker 12 (01:48:31):
This is an incredible day.
Speaker 4 (01:48:37):
Yep.
Speaker 3 (01:48:38):
It's importance of diplomacy and understanding the strength of diplomacy
and having the ability to be diplomatic. She could have
varied it a little bit more than what she did. Oh,
by the way, jobs numbers, we were just asking about those,
US has added her in fourteen thousand the month of June.
Speaker 4 (01:48:57):

Speaker 8 (01:49:19):
Wall Street. I don't know, we'll see how they react.
Speaker 3 (01:49:21):
I think the economy is slowing. I think that's you know,

many jobs you're doing them.
Speaker 8 (01:49:47):
Is the jobs created or government jobs?
Speaker 3 (01:49:49):
Oh oh, you're not working for the government taxpayer money
that is driving record.
Speaker 4 (01:49:54):
No way.
Speaker 5 (01:49:55):
All right, here, hold one of my hats here, Terry,
while I'm bring you to to forty nine Parkway southbound.
All right, the fire trucks have left. They've had enough
of this business. That was some little work truck that
caught fire. Everybody's okay. But now he's just sitting there
in the gore point waiting to cool off for a
ninja to pick him up.
Speaker 4 (01:50:12):
What this is doing?
Speaker 5 (01:50:13):
As this has causing a bit of a hubbub on
two forty nine, stay the course that backups about the Goldway.
Once they bring the tow truck there, then they'll have
to take a lane. But don't worry about that Graham Parkway.
Speaker 4 (01:50:23):
Look at that.
Speaker 5 (01:50:24):
You could actually get by even the golf ball terry.
As you're going eastbound toward forty five. Nothing's slowing you
down westbound. You look nice. I'll bet they do that
pavement repair again, maybe after eight o'clock this morning on
the North SAM westbound All Dean Westfield. A lot of
people don't pay attention there. It squeezes down. We lose
two left lanes and we've been having a lot of
(01:50:44):
recks there. For now, we're packed from JFK. The best
way to get around that if you're trying to catch
a plane is will Clayton Parkway off the East Tex Freeway.
Or you could go to the Hardy Toll Road Airport Connector.
But don't tell anybody on the North SAM eastbound Imperial All.

Speaker 25 (01:51:21):
Yeah, lots of sunshine and lots of heat and humidity.
Speaker 7 (01:51:25):
Now that's not unusual.
Speaker 25 (01:51:26):
It's a little more heat and a little more humidity
than the past couple of days. So if you're outside
later today, you'll probably notice it. Heat advisory today through tomorrow.
Evening temperatures generally in the nineties, a lot of mid
to upper nineties though for our listeners, and heat index

chance you'll get wet tomorrow, thirty percent chance of thunderstorms

We're taking out two left lanes. Remember, a lot of

about that little squeeze down it surprises them and boom,
I've got another wreck to talk about. Eastbound Imperial Valley.
You've got a left lane missing. We still have our

Kabala Harris is having her record scrub glean by the
mainstream media. Joe Rogan pointing that out on this podcast.
Dana Breno reacts to what Joe has to say here,
she's going to win.
Speaker 44 (01:54:43):
I feel like we are in this very bizarre time
where people are giving in to the in a way
that I'd never suspected people with before. And this is
one they just want no Trump, no matter what, and
they're willing to gaslight themselves. She's the least popular vice
president of all time, and then in a moment, a
(01:55:07):
moment in time, all of a sudden, she's our solution.
She's our hero. Try googling a negative story on her.
Speaker 14 (01:55:14):
You won't find one.
Speaker 44 (01:55:15):
I thought that Trump getting shot would like that's it,
Election's over.
Speaker 7 (01:55:20):
But it's like they memory hold that so quick.
Speaker 45 (01:55:23):
The left tried to cancel somebody like a Joe Rogan
or an Elon Musk, right, and they are saying, well,
we're going to turn this around, and they have huge platforms.
Let's just talk about Rogan's for a second. But the
things I think it's so interesting about Rogan. His instincts
are very good. Right, He's got his finger on the
pulse of things, and he's like, this is what he's
(01:55:43):
feeling at the moment. There are ninety five days left.
We saw how quickly, just within seven to eight days
We went from the most amazing RNC convention, who how.
Speaker 7 (01:55:54):
Could he possibly lose?
Speaker 45 (01:55:55):
It's going to be a cakewalk to Biden two days
later say I'm pulling out the race, and all of
a sudden, a week later, we're saying, Okay, obviously she's
gonna win. And I know that there's not a ton
of time between now and the election, but I think
that he said could win, can win. Yes, she can.
Speaker 4 (01:56:09):
She could.
Speaker 45 (01:56:11):
It's not a done deal if you look at Nate
Silver too, though these polls are showing as they come
in she's holding her own. But also it's because of
that cotton candy messaging. As soon as she's asked about
things that.
Speaker 7 (01:56:25):
Will reset a little bit.
Speaker 45 (01:56:26):
And President Trump is starting like you did last night,
to focus on issues people care about, energy, the economy,
the border, and crime.
Speaker 3 (01:56:34):
Okay, but is anybody going to ask Kamala Harris about
those things? Probably not the mainstream So I could ask
her any tough questions, at least nothing that she hasn't rehearsed,
are pre prepared for. She might just go into Joe
Biden's basement and hang out with them.
Speaker 8 (01:56:48):
Yeah, but we all have to live it, you know.
Speaker 9 (01:56:51):
The minute they start talking about issues, people's eyes crossed.
They don't want to hear about issues. That's why you
should probably rebranded his policies not issues, because then you've
got social issues. No, it's policies and how it affects
Americans and American people trying to live their lives right.
Speaker 3 (01:57:10):
And this job's report numbers are those things that are
coming in. If that keeps taking along in that direction,
that we're all going to live that.
Speaker 9 (01:57:17):
I mean, do you honestly believe that our economy is
suddenly going to get good under these people?
Speaker 4 (01:57:22):
