people leave their bosses. I mean, more money is great.
But the other thing is they're claiming it's an emergency
like a disaster, and therefore they have to raise our taxes.
This is so freaking wrong. And next year the're gonna

have another problem with the budget with this too. So
tell me how is this even legal?

Is it? Okay? Look, we checked and unfortunately it's legal.
But it is preposterous. It is unnecessary, and Ford bend
Id should be ashamed of themselves. Here's what they're doing.
Do you using last year's disaster of barrel and claiming
that they have to now pay for a disaster which

they didn't really have, but they have already paid for it,
whatever their problem is. And they're going to raise taxes
by as much as the state is cutting them. And
so it really really irks me badly. And the Superintendent
Smith and this SIFA financial officer again should be just
you know, they should be shamed of themselves because basically

they're coming back down and saying, wherever you are and
for ben isd, we're going to tax you by seven pennies.
The state's only cutting it by six and they're just
tax and smash. This is just you know, activism. They're
just spending money that they don't need to. Because here's
the real big news, Chris. The state's given all isds

wherever they are eight and a half billion dollars for
teacher pay.

And so so these it's just smashing grab on taxpayers

I'm speaking out about it because you know, the trustees
should have never voted to approve this. Now the folks
have got a shot at this because they're gonna have
hearings in August when they get a chance to actually

vote on tax rates. And look, we need businesses down there,
we need homeowners down there because they don't need to
be doing this. But hey, if you're a liberal tax
and span, that's what you that's what you see. Taxpayers
are just cows to be milked.

One of the trustees says that the she felt like
the decision was too rushed. I felt like I'm pinning
a corner like a gun to your head.

That's how we want to run things. That's how we
run our household, the gun to our heads. This is
ridiculous in that regard too.

You know I saw that too, and actually I you know,

You just can't. You had to say no. You get elected.
And if some superintendent who's this guy's name is white
apparently comes up with this crazy idea, say no, because

the public doesn't want their tax decrease. That is cost
of a state, by the way, ten billion dollars just
to be evaporated like that because you've got some tax
and spend superintendent, say no. And that's what the public
needs to do when they go these heroes is tell
them no because because this is you know, this is
going to cost every homeowner down there, I don't know,

one hundred and fifty bucks for no reason, because we're
shoveling money into the school right now. And that's why
I'm just my head's blown off. I'm just, you know,
madder than you know ht double hockey sticks about it.
I had to stop these guys two years ago. Chris
and Jimmy would remember this when they wanted to do
the same thing. Every time we recut taxes. These people

figure out a way to raise it and they backdraft
the state when we chopped the tax rate down for schools.
