Speaker 1 (00:00):
Iran's nuclear sites have been obliterated, according to President Trump,
making the announcement after the bombing run concluded on Saturday night.
Now everyone is trying to pick up the pieces, literally
in Iran, figuratively here in the United States. Let's welcome
Congressman Troy Nell's to the program with his thoughts and
analysis of where we are. Congressman, good morning, Good morning, Bob.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Good to be with you.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
Good to be with you, Sir, thank you. I want
to talk about the constitutionality of the decision in a moment.
Some of your colleagues, including at least one on your side,
are complaining about that. But let's talk about the mission
and the success. What does this do for the region.
What does this do to Iran's capabilities of waging war
on Israel and continuing to destabilize the Middle East?

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Well, great question, but certainly degrades, if not totally destroyed,
Iran's any capability to build a weapon. We know they
were getting close. Now a lot of questions about how
close were Was it a week, two weeks, was it months?
Was it years? You know, enriching uranium, you know you

(01:06):
need about that sixty percent to build that weapon, and
there's a lot of questions how close were they, but
we have made it very clear. And it's just not
President Trump, but former presidents, whether it's Bush, whether it's Obama,
they said they cannot have a weapon. You cannot let
Iran get a nuclear weapon with their religious mulahs and

(01:28):
their radical leaders over there saying death to America, and
they wanted to wipe Israel off the map. So this
was decisive action with precision focused effort to make sure
Iran was not going to have the capability to build
that weapon. And we did so what forty eight hours ago?

(01:50):
And I applaud this administration for their efforts to attack
those nuclear facilities.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
Yeah, I concur Congressman Nel's And as expected, the next
attack is coming from the left, and they're attacking President
Trump and suggesting that he just got us into war.
I heard that question asked of Marco Rubio yesterday on TV.
I saw it asked of Vice President of Vance. They're saying,
are we now at war with Iron? How do you

(02:17):
answer that?

Speaker 2 (02:19):
Well, I don't know Iran. First off, there wasn't a
single shot fired. I applaud Israel for what they have
been able to do over the last two weeks with
the their Michel defense system over there. Obviously not one
Iranian jet entered the airspace to try to intercept our

(02:39):
package with those B two bombers, with those seven B
two bombers, and so I don't know. You look at
some of their proxies, obviously they have been degraded over
the past several years with the who thies and Hamas Hezballah,
all of the proxies with Iran, they've been degraded. So
I don't really feel Iran, in my opinion, is too

(03:01):
much of a concern other than you've got issues related
to the Strait of Horn Moves, which delivers obviously a
lot of energy moves through a third of our LNG
across the globe, as well as about twenty five percent
of global oil consumption, with a lot of that going
to China. So I think the Strait of Horror moves
may be the next major concern we would have as

(03:26):
it relates to Iran, and then of course maybe some
of the lone wolf attacks, maybe our infrastructure. We've got
to be concerned about some of the act as it
relates to individual sleeper cells in our country because of
what Joe Biden did over four years with an open Southern.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
War spot on Congressman Chory Nell's because that's what borders ar.
Tom Homan was asked about yesterday and he said he's
not worried about an attack from Iron, but he is
worried about what is in his purview, which is, you know,
security here in the United States. He works for national
for the Department of Homeland Security, and he's concerned about
that too. Because there were at least fifteen hundred known

(04:04):
Iranians who were allowed into the United States over the
course of Biden's four years. Everybody thinks that these were
all just migrant farm workers who came in, fifteen to
twenty million of them, but no, a lot of Iranian
nationals are here and he's concerned about the activation of
potential sleeper cells. What do you think the administration is
going to do to ease the concerns of the American
people about that, Congressman, Well.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
I think we've done everything. If this administration has done
one hell of a job as it relates to trying
to identify and capture these bad ombres that are in
our country illegally, and with many of them obviously they
weren't vented. They came across our southern border because they
were invited. Believe it or not, they were invited by

(04:47):
Joe Biden to come across their southern border and not
they're causing nothing but havoc and destruction, and they're killing
They're killing our people. So the administration has identified tens
of thousands of them, and they're doing the best they
can to remove these individuals from our country. But it's
going to take a lot of time because so many
millions of them entered our southern border. So I think

(05:10):
the administration has done a good job identifying whether it's
sleeper cells from Iran everywhere hamas individuals has all of them, Trendiagua,
the violent gains from Venezuela. But you know, you get
one or two car bombs going off in New York
City or in a major metropolitan area the United States,

(05:30):
that could be very, very devastating to our economy. You
could scare the American people and we could be like
the Middle East if we're not careful.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
Briefly, Congressman Troynelle's on the constitutionality of the strike, most
and I should say most many on the left, including
Alexandro Acossio Cortes, and even some on our side, your side,
Thomas Massey saying this was unconstitutional. The President shouldn't have
done this and couldn't do this without congressional authority. How
do you respond to them?

Speaker 2 (05:59):
Yeah, he's I think it's a bipartisan resolution. I think
Representative Massy out of Kentucky's going to lead it on
our side. But I don't think it reaches the floor.
I think the Speaker has an opportunity to say it
doesn't even reach the floor. Nobody was talking about this.
The Democrats weren't talking about this one. Obama and others
have to make decisive actions. So President Trump is obviously

(06:23):
the leader we need in the White House. When you
have conflict with a country like Iran, who has continued
to thumb their nose at the globe, at the world,
and specifically our dear friends in Israel, they cannot have
a nuclear bomb. I don't understand what the argument gets here.

(06:44):
You know, could you imagine whether to take eight nine minutes,
ten minutes to fly a missile from Iran over into Israel,
and if there was a nuclear warhead, how could we
ever justify not doing something to prevent that from ever
taking place. It could be total destruction for the globe.
I'm glad and I applaud this president and those that

(07:04):
want to say this is impeachable. This and then let's
just go back to Obama and see what they were
saying when he made unilateral decisions related to the use
of force.

Speaker 1 (07:15):
Very well, said Congressman Troy Nell's with thoughts on national
security this morning after the extraordinarily successful strike on Iran's
nuclear capabilities on Saturday. Congressman nells, thanks for the time, sir,
We appreciate it.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
Thank you, Bob, God bless
