Speaker 24 (07:42):
Use doesn't care what KTRH keeps you in form. There's
a lot going on US radio seven forty KTRH.
Speaker 4 (07:51):
Well, then today's the day for that. Today is Veteran Today,
So yes, please do remember the heroes. I didn't serve myself.
I have a son who served in I had a
dad who served in the Navy. I think that was
kind of their common ground, the two of them having
that naval experience. So certainly our family has served. I mean,
we all know people in our families who have served.
(08:13):
We've all many of you have served. I know that
it's a shame that we don't put more emphasis on
Veterans Day. It's a bank holiday, it is a post
office holiday. Chances are it's not a holiday where you work.
Chances are it's not a holiday for people who are
(08:33):
in other businesses, retail and all those types of things.
So it's kind of up to us to keep it
alive into make sure that we at least take a
moment out of our day to say thank you. Great
day to buy a veteran to dinner. If you see
somebody at a restaurant you got deat today and you
see a veteran there, Great day to do something like that.
I know, I always try to. It makes me feel good.
(08:55):
Do you know the origins of Veterans Day? You remember
learning that in school? Do they still teach it? I
asked that all the time because I wonder. I wonder
anymore what passes for American history. It goes back to
November the eleventh, nineteen eighteen. That is the armistice between
the Allied Nations in Germany that went into effect of
(09:16):
the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month.
That is where Veterans Day comes from. That's why they
picked that day. Of course, we've had many wars since
World War One. Nineteen eighteen is a long long time ago,
but that's how it all began.
Speaker 5 (09:30):
Five ten.
Speaker 4 (09:31):
Time for traffic and weather together. Skymike's out there is
looting veterans?
Speaker 7 (09:35):
All right, let's do that.
Speaker 6 (09:36):
And one very important hero to remember today also as
Marcelo Garcia, firefighter who fell the fallen firefighter. We're going
to have a funeral procession for him today and if
I remember, that's right over by my old neighborhood, it's
going to start out of ost and go over Londale.
I'm pretty sure they're burying him in Forest Park, so
(09:59):
that'll be right off. I think they're going to take
up some lanes today on two eighty eight northbound and
forty five the Golf Freeway, so keep it here. We'll
actually be keeping up with that while that's happening live
for now. Our freeways are okay, they're a little slick.
I've got to turn your snooze off because they're slicking
spots here.
Speaker 7 (10:16):
So I guess with just.
Speaker 6 (10:18):
The humidity or something that's condensing on here. Terry can
tell you about that. But Uber Mike did give me
a wreck Lee Road. Those of you to take the
back channel to Bush Airport Lee Road off of nineteen
sixty pretty gnarly wrecked there, So let's go a different
way like Willie Cee will Clayton Parkway Skymike on the
classic Buick GMC Traffic Center.
Speaker 4 (10:35):
From r KTRH top Tax Defenders twenty four hour Weather Center.
Actually Jeff mars in for Terry this morning. I think
those slect roads might be a we've kind of got
a patchy fog situation thing, so that I know there's
a lot of moisture in there this morning. That must
be what's doing in.
Speaker 5 (10:49):
Yeah, you're right about that.
Speaker 25 (10:50):
Do that dense fog and the National Weather Service has
issued a dense fog advisory. It' hit effect until nine
this morning, so you may allow a little bit extra
time as you head out, with visibility times down under
a quarter of a mile. After we get through the
middle portion of the morning. That fog listened during the
after you will see some sun breaking through the clouds
on this Veterans Day as the high worms up to
eighty two tonight, clear the low down to sixty. Plenty
(11:10):
of sun tomorrow up to seventy nine. A slide chance
for a shower thadersturn developing Wedday. Otherwise we will be
party cloudy as the high eventually reaches eighty two.
Speaker 4 (11:17):
Degrees bright now sixty five at your official severe weather station.
News Radio seven forty k TRH.
Speaker 3 (11:24):
It's Houston's Morning News, brought to you by New South
Windows Solutions.
Speaker 24 (11:28):
Now back to Jimmy and Sherah with the info you
need to take.
Speaker 5 (11:32):
On the day.
Speaker 4 (11:34):
All, we're already getting resistance. Not that this surprises us.
Right where, we're not surprised that there's resistance. Five to
eighteen our time here on Houston's Morning News. The resistance
seems to becoming right now from Democrat governors who are
not real happy with the way the election turned out.
I've got Gavin Newsman in California calling a special session
(11:57):
of the California State Legislature. He wants to say down
and figure out how he can quote unquote trump proof
the state. Has he looked at that map? By the way,
did he look at that congressional map? It looks really,
really red. Even in California outside of you San Francisco
and in Los Angeles, the rest of the state looks
(12:19):
pretty red. Is he bothered to look at that?
Speaker 5 (12:23):
Now?
Speaker 4 (12:23):
They're still resisting Illinois. Illinois governor's resisting. New York's governor
is resisting. They're all they're not talking unity. That's for
dog On Sure, I mean unity would be nice, but
it sure looks like a lot of resistance to me.
Here's Jesse Waters on the Five talking about it.
Speaker 26 (12:39):
The resistance is coming into focus that. Remember the first
Trump ternament was like Scheff Komi Mueller. Now it looks
like it's the blue state governors and the twenty twenty
eight presidential races started. So the best way to raise
your profile if you're a Democrat is.
Speaker 2 (12:55):
To clash with Trump. Now does that help the people
you represent?
Speaker 27 (12:58):
Know?
Speaker 2 (12:58):
But they don't care. It's not about that. It's just
about politics.
Speaker 26 (13:01):
So the big battle is going to be energy at first,
and Trump might not win every battle there because the
states control their own energy, electricity, and water and all that,
but you can definitely jawbone the hell out of him
from the White House podium and make them look stupid
and make them change their ways.
Speaker 2 (13:18):
There also homelessness.
Speaker 26 (13:20):
Remember they're going to have the Olympics in LA in
four years.
Speaker 2 (13:24):
Trump's going to be.
Speaker 26 (13:25):
President and there's what fifty thousand homeless people per block
in LA. So they're going to have to get that together,
and I think he'll be effective in that because everybody
doesn't want to embarrass the country.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
And then deportation. They're going to.
Speaker 26 (13:39):
Lose the states on this because that is a federal
issue and there will be massive clashes because you're going
to have cameras out there making sure that they capture
the images of ice coming along and taking these people away,
and they deserve to be taken away.
Speaker 2 (13:55):
Sometimes you have to do tough stuff.
Speaker 26 (13:57):
But AOC is going to be there tying herself to Migro.
Speaker 2 (14:00):
It's going to be hysterical.
Speaker 26 (14:01):
But sometimes dad has to do the tough thing. Doesn't
make it always look great, but it's the right.
Speaker 2 (14:09):
Thing to do, and that's what we expect.
Speaker 4 (14:11):
Okay, Trump as dad. I wouldn't mind Trump as a dad,
especially if I could have got my allowance from him.
Time for traffic and weather together, Daddy, who's your daddy's guy, Mike?
Speaker 7 (14:22):
All right, we've got so far, we got wet freeway.
Speaker 6 (14:24):
So if you're just getting up to let's knock this
snooze off for sure.
Speaker 7 (14:28):
Let's get an early start.
Speaker 6 (14:29):
And so far, I've got some pretty wet freeways on
the north side.
Speaker 7 (14:34):
Got to look at this.
Speaker 6 (14:34):
I'm looking the Kadie Freeway here round Pinoak and that's
a nice foggy shot. If you're playing the home game
hit three forty two. I miss spoke while ago the
funeral for Houston Fire Department hft's Marcelo Garcia, who passed
to who was killed Thursday in that warehouse fire, is
actually Wednesday. They're moving his body today, though that will
(14:55):
be a formal procession. It'll be around Ost and Fannin
where the court where the medical Examiner's offices. They'll go
up to eighty eight, down forty five and they'll head
down to Waystside at Lindale.
Speaker 7 (15:06):
That starts at nine o'clock.
Speaker 6 (15:07):
I'll be watching that very closely today Skymike and the
Generator Supercenter dot Com traffic Center.
Speaker 4 (15:12):
From our KTRH top tax Defenders twenty four hour weather center.
Part of cloudy today looks like about eighty three for
the high, sunny, warm, right about eighty four tomorrow and
then Wednesday partly Cloudi's lang chance for rainshower in the

We're thankful for you, thank you for everything you do,
for joining the conversation.
Speaker 5 (16:11):
I love you.
Speaker 1 (16:11):
Guys on news radio seven kg r H.
Speaker 28 (16:18):
President in the same train handling first administration, you concentrate
on the public.
Speaker 4 (16:24):
Dress and then hang on Tom hol hang on.
Speaker 5 (16:28):
Tom Holman is very eager. Did you hear he got
the border is our job?
Speaker 4 (16:31):
You did so, We've already got some uh positions have
been filled. You've got at least Afonik, who's going to
be the ambassador to the u N. You've got Tom
Holman who's been named as the borders are He was
on Fox over the weekend.
Speaker 5 (16:47):
You got a little sneak peak there. Now you'll be
able to hear it a little bit better. Here he is.
Speaker 4 (16:54):
With uh with with another gentleman who wants to talk
about the economics of They want to talk the mass deportation.
Everybody's trying to imagine how this whole mass deportation thing works.
I don't think we concentrate on the word mass. Mass
just means big numbers. It doesn't mean that there's going
to be around up. You know, all of a sudden,
(17:16):
there's gonna be knocking on door to door and people
are going to be rounded up from one quarter of
the country to the next. But there is going to
be an effort to get rid of the worst of
the worst, the criminals, the Venezuelan gangs, those people here,
there's gonna be Tom Holmans part of Tom Holmes's job
in order to be able to make that happen. So
here he is talking about mass deportations and also gets
(17:36):
a little help from Scott Messett. Scott Messett is Key
Square Coastal Management CEO who handles the cost of mass deportation.
Speaker 28 (17:46):
Well, look, I agree the president's plan on this.
Speaker 7 (17:49):
In the same plan hand during.
Speaker 28 (17:50):
The first administration, you concentrate on the public safety threats
and the national security threats first, So those the worst
are the worst. So it's gonna be the worst first,
That's how it has to be. And we know a
recog number of people a terrorists watches and process border.
We know recon numbered terrorists has been released in this country.
We've already arrested some planning attacks. So look, the President
(18:11):
is dead on when he says criminal threats, national security
threats are going to be prioritized.
Speaker 2 (18:16):
And that's the way it's want to be.
Speaker 29 (18:18):
Scott Bessant, the Wall Street Journal this morning is writing
about the cost of this deportation and it's going to
be hefty. So you've got the cost of rounding up
people who may have committed crimes for deportation at a
time that President Trump wants to have no tax on tips,
no tax on overtime, no tax on social security.
Speaker 2 (18:40):
How will we afford all of this?
Speaker 30 (18:42):
Well, Maria, first of all, let's talk about the human cost.
We have one hundred thousand fentanyl deaths a year because
of the poorest border. We have the increased crime, we
have the underlying fear that the American people have.
Speaker 2 (18:57):
You can't put a price on that.
Speaker 30 (19:00):
I'll tell you too that what we are going to
do here.
Speaker 2 (19:04):
Donald Trump.
Speaker 30 (19:07):
Has saved the biggest political comeback in history. And I
think that we are on the verge of a golden
age in the economy for the next four years where
we can have a growth agenda, where we deregulate, get
energy prices down and get interest rates down, and that
will drive growth like we have not seen for years.
(19:31):
And you know, the cost of this deportation will be
arounding her. But I keep going back to the human costs,
and you can't put a price on that.
Speaker 5 (19:39):
Well, actually can you could put a price on it?
Speaker 4 (19:43):
What was that bill that the state education director what
was it Oklahoma? Saint Cublaar's like four hundred and seventy
four million dollars. That's one state for the cost of
educating illegal aliens. So yeah, you can put a price
tag on it. It's a significantly less expensive to have
(20:04):
a mass deportation than it is to pay for all
the benefits and everything else that go along with having
such a high population of illegal aliens five p. Twenty seven.
It is time to take a look at your money.
Jeff vellagers in this morning, good morning, and Jimmy, good
morning to you.
Speaker 31 (20:22):
Wall Street's coming off its best week so far this year.

settled at record highs on Friday, and the futures are
higher this morning, suggesting we could see more gains today.
Now it may be a slower than normal day for

after winning the election and thirty one states last week.
Meets with Joe Biden in the White House on Wednesday. Now,
Biden's promising a peaceful transfer of power, but will he
be the one transferring the power. We warned you last
week about a possible short term Kamala presidency and how
(23:20):
some Democrats are pushing for it.
Speaker 34 (23:22):
Joe Biden's been a phenomenal president. He's lived up to
so many of the promises he's made as one promise
left that he could fulfill being a transitional figure. He
could resign the presidency in the next thirty days, make
Kamala Harris the president of United States.
Speaker 5 (23:33):
Will give it absolved wow.
Speaker 12 (23:35):
Former Harris communications director Jamal Simmons on CNN that clip
is evidence that the left learned nothing from last week
and will continue to push their agenda.
Speaker 11 (23:46):
Democrats are going to have to suffer defeat after defeat
until those people who are pushing this radical, extreme agenda
are no longer seen as viable leaders.
Speaker 12 (23:58):
Political strategists Lad davidia tel ktrh that this will require
a complete change in Democrat party leadership. And as the
dust settles on last week, some people are already speculating
about twenty twenty eight.
Speaker 35 (24:12):
Donald Trump will become a lame duck president on January twentieth,
setting the stage for a wide open White House race
in four years. Rice political science professor Bob Stein says
Republicans could see a contested primary.
Speaker 8 (24:23):
I don't think that.
Speaker 36 (24:23):
An Evans is going to get a free pass to
the nomination in twenty twenty eight. I think here too
many Republicans crews Cotton Fawley and Oersverator dessaives who are
looking for twenty twenty eight is hard to figure out
which is a.
Speaker 8 (24:35):
Time for me to make a run now.
Speaker 35 (24:36):
As for Democrats, possible candidates include California Governor Gavin Newsom,
Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, and Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer. Cory

Republican skins or four seats away from winning the House
of Representatives. They already clenched Senate control, and Montana's Tim
Sheehy says the GOP must hit the ground running.
Speaker 37 (25:09):
Historically, he might have two years of the United Government
the way we have it now, so that means we've
got to secure that border day one.
Speaker 2 (25:15):
President Trump will probably do that.
Speaker 12 (25:16):
In the executive order, Republicans will have fifty three seats
in the Senate. Democrat majority leader Chuck ms Schumer is
not allowing Pennsylvania Republican Dave McCormick to attend Senate orientation
this week. That's because the incumbent Democrat, Bob Casey has
refused to concede the race. Schumer is going to be
replaced as majority leader by one of three Republicans Texas
(25:39):
John Cornyn, John Doone of South Dakota, or Florida's Rick Scott.
Speaker 38 (25:44):
We can't keep doing what we're doing. We have to
be the change. That's what Donald Trump got elected to do.
To be a change, that's what business guys do.
Speaker 12 (25:52):
Missouri Senator Josh Hawley endorsed Cornyn over the weekend. Republicans
elect their new leader on Wednesday thirty five. According to reports,
President Elec. Trump is told Russia's Vladimir Putin not to
escalate the war with Ukraine, but the Biden administration plans
to pressure Trump and to continue funding the Ukrainians. We'll
(26:13):
have more on this at six o'clock. And then there
is the question of America's relationship with China and how
things change after January twentieth. Cliff We asked China expert
Gordon Chang.
Speaker 27 (26:26):
At least in the initial period, Chinese leaders are going
to be very cautious and they are not going to
engage in as provocative behavior as they otherwise would have
with a president.
Speaker 7 (26:36):
Harris, and what about the future.
Speaker 27 (26:38):
I don't foresee military provocations like we otherwise might have
with Trump. They are scared of what he might do,
and they're worried about tariffs. They're worried about other things
as well.
Speaker 39 (26:49):

While Wall Street is closed today to observe Veterans day,
oil futures did drop overnight to below seventy dollars barrel,

American energy sector.
Speaker 40 (27:13):
Reducing inflation and fixing the economy. All starts with sensible
energy policies.
Speaker 41 (27:17):
Reducing the red tape and the regulatory onslought that we've
seen in the last several years, getting back to kind
of opportunities in offshore.
Speaker 40 (27:25):
David Holt of the American Energy Alliance says we'll see
more pragmatism and in turn that'll open up new waves
of economic prosperity.
Speaker 41 (27:33):
Energy drives the whole economy, and if you have a

how to communicate older ways.

This is Houston's morning News.
Speaker 5 (28:51):
Bell game day yesterday in the National Football League.
Speaker 4 (28:54):
Right, too bad about too bad about the Texans and
they have a sixteen point lead. Yeah, I'm not giving
any blow a sixteen point lead, but it's we're better
than the Dallas Cowboys, I would join. I mean, I
know we have some I know there's Cowboys fans everywhere,
(29:14):
but you've got to be uh wow, you've got to
really be hurting. Did you see that game yesterday with
the Cowboys. Kind of a microcosm of everything that's gone
wrong for the Cowboys this year was when Ceedee Lamb
blamed the sun for not being able to catch a ball.
And I have to say, I don't know why they
(29:37):
positioned the stadium the way they did, but the afternoon
sun comes straight in those windows and if you are
going I believe that's the north end zone. If you
are if you are looking back trying to catch a
pass from your quarterback and you're going into the north
end zone, you get blinded by the sun. And I
guess Ceedee Lamb was blaming the sun for not being
(29:58):
able to catch the ball, and I made Jerry Jones,
who's already very angry about his football team, even angrier.
Speaker 5 (30:04):
What do you want me to turn down of the stadium?
Speaker 4 (30:07):
Evidently they're talking about whether they should put up some curtains.
Maybe they should have thought about how they were positioning
that stadium before they did it. Anyway, Nick Bosa for
the forty nine ers officially find eleven two d and
fifty five dollars. Where did they come up with these
fines there? Somebody's said, somebody sat down said, well, you know,
(30:29):
if somebody violences somebody wears a mega hat, that should
be an eleven two hundred and fifty five dollars fine.
That's what he has to pay for violenting the NFL's
uniform and equipment rules by wearing that make America Great
Again hat on the field in uniform after the game
and showing up on camera for a rock party who's
(30:49):
their quarterback interview. He was on camera for maybe all
of ten seconds at the most. But I guess for
somebody who plays in the National Football League in particular,
I'm pretty sure that he can afford eleven thousand, jordan
fifty five dollars find in fact, he said, was worth
every penny five forty time for traffic, and whether it's
for the toll lanes on two eighty eight, he could
(31:10):
he probably has a butler if he lived in Tomboll

Speaker 7 (31:13):
That's the way it is. Let's check out first.
Speaker 6 (31:15):
Hey, if I would like to say thank you for
the Houston firefighters, reminding me that the funeral for fallen
firefighter Marcillo Garcia is actually Wednesday, So it's Wednesday.
Speaker 7 (31:26):
Things are happening fast in here this morning.
Speaker 6 (31:28):
Thanks for your patients, when the firefighters, and you know
we love you, and we love all our police officers too.
Let's go to League City here. Who is this League
City tip line guy, Mike?
Speaker 1 (31:36):
That wreck on FM five eighteen between bay Area Boulevard
and the landing in front of the Christian School.
Speaker 5 (31:43):
It's got all four lanes blocked. The rerouting YouTube ninety.
Speaker 1 (31:46):
Six four at the road one through Bay Area.
Speaker 18 (31:49):
Thank you ever, brother, All.
Speaker 7 (31:50):
Right, thank you so much.
Speaker 6 (31:51):
That cross street is Oak Creek and I was looking
on the on the the Sea Brooks side or the
Chema side. This is on the Friendswood side. Eighteen's completely
shut down, just east of Bay Area so there you are.
Your reroutes are Leak City Parkway, NASA one. You don't
have a choice. They've shut the whole thing down, Mateo,
Leak City dude, got.
Speaker 11 (32:10):
Mike, Mateo, you're asking about fog.
Speaker 39 (32:13):
If you like driving in a cloud, come on down

Speaker 6 (32:16):
You'll get you with all right, Thanks so much for that,
and we'll take a look on your north side at
the five point fifty break in the classic Buick GMC

Speaker 4 (32:24):
Brom R kat our Age Generators Super Center, twenty four

few spots today on some slick roads as a result
of that, at least in a few spots, but generally
we're gonna see plenty of some shine at some point
in time today, aren't we, Juffmar.
Speaker 7 (32:38):
Yeah, we sure are. As we head towards the afternoon.
Speaker 25 (32:40):
In the meantime, you ride about that fog though, it's
going to reduce visibility times down close to a quarter
of a mile, so slow down if you can counter
to that.
Speaker 5 (32:46):
And then as we.
Speaker 25 (32:47):
Head towards the afternoon, we'll see a clearing trend and
once again some above the average temperatures on this veterans
day up to eighty two later today for the high
overnight clear of the load, down to sixty sunny tomorrow
after seventy nine and a warmer Wednesday, with a slight
chance for a shower thunder, otherwise a mix of clouds
and son with the high eighty two. We will cool

seventies their time were on Houston's morning news. All right,
if you heard the latest about FEMA, I know what now?
What now?
Speaker 5 (33:24):
Jimmy a FEMA.
Speaker 4 (33:27):
Well I'm not sure if it's just a FEMA worker
or a crew of FEMA workers or who all is
involved in this, But it turns out in Florida after Milton,
a FEMA director on the ground there, told the people
going door to door to assess damage to skip the
houses with MAGA signs or with Trump signs. That's right,
(33:52):
Federal Emergency Management purposely skipped Trump supporters' homes after a
hurricane Wow Nancy Mace got asked about that and a
few other things.
Speaker 7 (34:05):
FEMA was very.
Speaker 23 (34:06):
Quick to say this was an isolated incident, but I
am quite a bit skeptical of that. I want to
know how they can affirm that it was isolated and
didn't happen anywhere else. I've heard from people throughout the
Southeast who applied for that seven hundred and fifty dollars
FEMA relief check and we're denied within an hour of
applying for it. And so I have many questions for
(34:26):
FEMA and how we literally clean up this mess.
Speaker 2 (34:30):
It appears you're on track.
Speaker 15 (34:31):
Do have a majority in the House to go with
a majority in the Senate, and also a Republican in
the White House.
Speaker 4 (34:37):
So what are your expectations for what can get done
over the next two years.
Speaker 23 (34:41):
First thing I want to say is I have such
great pride in my fellow countrymen. This was an absolute
mandate to cut taxes, to deport those who are here illegally,
and to protect women. My biggest concern right now is
to make sure that we as Republicans that have will
have a super majority, that we we don't swindle this,
that we don't that we do a better job this
(35:03):
time than last time. And we put Trump's agenda first.
And that means we need to ensure that cabinet members
who are confirmed, those who are going into the administration,
those are leaders of the party in both chambers have
his agenda first and won't thwart it, won't try to
subvert it. That we have people who will put the
American people first, no matter.
Speaker 4 (35:22):
What right that's representative Nancy Mace. Back to FEMA here
for just a second. I'm shaking my head over this
because this never happens. Evidently, a Federal Emergency Management Agency
employee who ordered those workers to bypass the homes with
the art signs. According to FEMA administrator Dian chris Well,
she called it quote reprehensible, and she fired the guy.
(35:47):
What they fired somebody? The FEMA fired somebody. Now that's
news five fifty. Time for traffic and Wether together. We're
going to talk about drill here, drill now in just

Us Radio seven forty KTRH.
Speaker 4 (37:12):
All right, we're kind of assuming, right, they're starting on
day one, that's going to be the Trump administration policy.
Joining us to talk about David Whole, President of Consumer
Energy Alliance, I guess, David, we know where President Trump
stands on this. But there are going to be states
that are probably going to be fighting back with lawsuits,
don't you think.
Speaker 8 (37:31):
Oh?
Speaker 41 (37:31):
I think so states and local jurisdictions. But you know,
the President of elect has been very clear that energy
is the cornerstone, the first thing he wants to do
to really get the economy going again. Lower inflation, drive jobs,
just drive economic growth and put more money in americans pockets.
Speaker 4 (37:51):
So what you expect to see happen on day one?
Do you think he's going to reopen up some of
these areas that were shut down by the Biden administration,
some of these federal lands that we're not allowed to
drill on on right now.
Speaker 8 (38:01):
Yeah, I think that's going to be part of it.
Speaker 41 (38:03):
He's going to go through and look at all the
you know, the really the regulatory red tape and over
regulation that's occurred in the last several years. That's probably
something he can do fairly quickly. Things that the previous
administration did with the executive order, things that he can
do and undo with executive order. He'll look at ways
to get the Gulf of Mexico going again that's really
(38:24):
effectively been shut down. He'll look at ways to you know,
kind of streamline the process for pipelines and transmission lines,
things that you know. Frankly, the States and these anti energy,
anti industry industrial growth groups continue to sue over and
litigate and just slow down and raise prices.
Speaker 5 (38:43):
So every time you see somebody suing.
Speaker 41 (38:45):
To prevent an energy project, what you're really seeing as
someone that's trying to raise prices.
Speaker 4 (38:49):
I thought it was really interesting that some of the
European leaders and even the President of China are talking
about buying American energy now. They'd be evidently, we're going
to get back in the energy game in the big way, you.
Speaker 5 (39:02):
Know, exactly right.
Speaker 41 (39:02):
So this LG, this liquefied natural gas slow down that
the Biden administration has done has really been one of
the more confusing things. Because clean natural gas produced here
in the United States that we can send to our
friends in Europe, that we can send to Asian markets,
one reduces emissions because you're not relying on Russian oil
(39:23):
or natural gas, which is higher emitting and worse there
in the environment, but it also helps that, you know,
it's a kind of global security. And it was great
to hear the European Union say we were ready to
buy American natural gas. And that's really one of the
things that the President Trump could do very quickly to
roll back to slow down in LNG exports with the
(39:44):
United States.
Speaker 4 (39:44):
David Holts with US he's president of the Consumer Energy Alliance.
Let me ask you about, you know, some of the
tax incentives that the federal government has put out there
for things like electric vehicles, for solar energy. You know,
certainly here in Texas we've seen our fair share of
wind farms that have gone up, win you know, turbines
(40:06):
because there's there's tax credits for doing that. Do you
think some of those some of those philosophies, some of
those programs may be reversed, as we may bee tradition
back to a more traditional source of power.
Speaker 5 (40:18):
Absolutely.
Speaker 41 (40:18):
I think the President elect has said a couple of
times that this ev mandate that the Biden administration has
done with an executive order will be one of the
first things he rolls back. So, you know, electric vehicles.
They should be a choice. If if drivers want an
electric vehicle, they should be able to buy electric vehicle.
But this, the mandate that this administration has put down
(40:40):
is really draconian, and the grid can't support it. There
are not enough charging stations. The evs are very expensive,
so you know, for the average American, EV's is really
maybe not the right choice. So it's good to see
that choice brought back in. So all these all these
types of regulations are things that this administration is going
toat are the upcoming administration is going to look out
(41:02):
very hard, and there's things that they.
Speaker 5 (41:03):
Could do very quickly.
Speaker 4 (41:04):
Yeah, all the things the Trump administration does that we've
learned that they can do things very very quickly. And
I'm sure that they are already sitting down writing legislation,
writing executive orders as we speak. To go into a factor, say,
as he takes office, how quickly would you expect to
see some of these changes in energy?
Speaker 5 (41:21):
You know, I think very quickly.
Speaker 8 (41:22):
It is.
Speaker 41 (41:23):
It is, like I said, it's been one of the
main things that he's talked about on the campaign trail
as the main driver to lowering bread prices, to lowering
egg prices, to lowering this inflation that we're seeing across
the board. But I mean, if you just think about eggs,
for example, there are four or five different places along
(41:43):
the distribution from the time the egg is hatched to
the time it gets to the grocery store that require energy.
If energy prices are higher, then five different places that
distribution from eggs to the farm to the grocery store
is more. So if you lower energy prices, you lower
egg prices. So they're gonna they're gonna move very quickly.
(42:05):
And I think he's made that very clear.
Speaker 4 (42:06):
All right, David Holt, thank you as always, Sir, appreciated.

Texas Public Policy Foundation CEO Greg Sindelar says that we

part of the remembrance that's on display in sugar Land
(48:17):
this morning. Thousands of flags are up in the Field
of Honor at the UH campus there for Veterans Day.
Speaker 21 (48:24):
Every flag has a name on it. These flags were
purchased to honor different individuals. It's just an example. I
honored my dad, who is a Navy veteran.
Speaker 12 (48:33):
Paul Barnett with the Exchange Club of Sugarland says this
year's display is double from last year with two thousand flags. Finally,
the Texans lose to Detroit on a last second field
goal last night, twenty six to twenty three.
Speaker 43 (48:48):
Like this game was on me, you know, definitely got
to make plays, gotta make throws, counting the ball over
and when we're in scorn position. So as a I
blame this on me. You know, I gotta be.
Speaker 12 (48:59):

Speaker 3 (49:14):
This is Houston's Morning News with Jimmy Barrett and Sheriff Fryar.
Speaker 4 (49:19):
Six eight is our time here in Houston's Morning News.
I've heard of fried rice, but I'd never heard of
fried rice syndrome. You ever heard of that? Ride rice syndrome.
It's a food borne illness. They can be fatal, causing
severe gastro intestinal symptoms after consuming cooked pasta or rice.
(49:40):
It's here's evidently what happens. Let's take Chinese takeout for example.
You know they cook, they cook it, and when it's
done cooking, they put it in a bag, right, and
then they will have it at the restaurant and either
they will you'll have it delivered by somebody, or you
(50:02):
will go and pick it up yourself and you'll take
it home, and maybe it'll sit on the counter a
while longer before you get around to actually eating it.
Because fried rice is one of those things that it
does have to be piping hot. I mean it's better
if it is, but it doesn't have to be piping
hot right out of the walk before you eat it.
Then sometimes it sits around for too long, and if
(50:22):
it sits around for too long, then it can pick
up well, if it's left out of room temperature, it
can get pick up contamination. Symptoms of fried rice syndrome
include diarrhea, bonding fever, nausea, stomach paint, and cramping, the
usual stuff. If you are healthy and you have a
healthy immune system, then that's probably the worst that will
(50:45):
happen to you, is you'll just be food poisoning symptoms
for a little while and then you'll be okay. But
for people with compromised immune systems, it is a potential problem.
So the way to avoid it is to return it
to a safe temperature. Whether you're talking about microwaving it
(51:05):
or putting in the oven or air fryer or whatever
it is you want to do, return it to a
safe temperature so that whatever may have had a chance
to get in there while it's been sending a room
temperature is eliminated once again. Six ' ten Time for

it means for the energy sector. But what about education,
state sovereignty, a whole variety of other issues. We'll talk
about that coming up next first though, at six twenty

Speaker 4 (55:00):
Two is our time here on Houston's morning News. Well,
the winner was now Jay Trump, and he did take
them all. He took all seven battleground states. Was it
three hundred and twelve electoral votes? I don't know if
I added, and that includes Arizona or not, which was
finally finalized yesterday. Of course, we have to wait and
see how it works out with the House. But that
looks good. Send it in Republican control. All that means
(55:23):
that's some stuff is going to get done for a change.
At least we hope Greg Sidelar joins US the CEO
of the Texas Public Policy Foundation. Let's start with this
greg before we get it specifically into Texas. How critical
is it for the Republicans to seize upon this massive
win and get things done, including a budget.
Speaker 12 (55:43):
Well, it's extremely critical.
Speaker 44 (55:45):
You know, there's a reason that they were kind of
swept into the office. There absolutely seems to be a
mandate not only around the president but around his agenda.
You know, there's a lot of people looking for a
lot of things here here in Texas. Obviously number one
the border, and so I think getting a budget done
that matters, and that is fiscally responsible, getting.
Speaker 12 (56:07):
The border figured out.
Speaker 44 (56:08):
These are all things that Americans are expecting them to
act on and act on quickly.
Speaker 4 (56:12):
I think in the when it comes to the border,
I think they probably already have a plan, and they're
probably already in the process of writing the executive orders
necessary no or to be able to make the plan
go into effect on day one, don't you.
Speaker 7 (56:24):
Yeah, absolutely.
Speaker 44 (56:25):
I think a lot of it is just putting a
lot of those executive orders back in action that President
Biden took out on his first day in office, and
getting Mexico's cooperation, which you know, we have to remember
Mexico is not a good partner and is at this
point really just a failed narco state. But I think
more importantly, what you need Congress to do is actually
(56:45):
codify a lot of this. And so you know the
houses already passed HR two, Well they need to go
back and pass it, and this new Congress get.
Speaker 2 (56:52):
It to the Senate, and the Senate needs to move
it out as well.
Speaker 4 (56:54):
Are there new immigration laws that need to be written,
If so, what do you think they ought to be?
Speaker 44 (57:00):
Well, I think, first and foremost, I think that law
if you can get the strong board Security bill that
the House already passed in in I think that gets
you way down the road. And then once you kind
of turn off this pigot per se and actually start
controlling the border, then you can You also need to
look at reforming asylum laws, and you need to then
also eventually start looking at how do you reform the
(57:22):
immigration system at large, which is also incentivizing people to
come across illegally.
Speaker 4 (57:27):
Yeah, and that's always been the problem, right, even when
Republicans have had controlled they have been very reticent, you know,
to put new laws into effect regarding immigration. Sometimes they
say we don't need new laws, but the fact of
the matter is we probably do at this point.
Speaker 5 (57:43):
Don't you think.
Speaker 44 (57:45):
Yeah, I think most of it is already covered under
current law, but there are some things that we can strengthen,
and so you do need a few things.
Speaker 12 (57:52):
Absolutely, I agree.
Speaker 4 (57:53):
Okay, let's get into education here for a second. Donald
Trump talked about removing the Department of Education. Do you
think he will make good on that?
Speaker 44 (58:03):
You know, his last administration, his whole campaign is on
promises may promises delivered, right, and so I think he
will do everything he can. You have to remember, you know,
Department of Educations on the around what forty fifty years,
we waste a lot of money and.
Speaker 12 (58:20):
Through that department.
Speaker 44 (58:21):
So I think absolutely there's been a long time concerned
effort within the conservative movement to that we don't need
a Department of Education.
Speaker 12 (58:28):
So I think I think by the end of his
term he probably will have it gone.
Speaker 5 (58:33):
Okay, I would like to see that too.
Speaker 4 (58:35):
I would also like to see and I don't know
if he could do this by executive order or not,
but I would I love And this kind of relates
as well to illegal immigration. I love what I think
it was Oklahoma's head of education did by sending a
bill to Kamala Harris for four hundred and forty seven
million dollars that they determined was the cost of their
state alone for educating illegal alien children. Can you imagine
(58:58):
if if President Trump or to every state to supply
him with the number of illegal immigrant children that they
are educating and how much it's costing.
Speaker 44 (59:08):
Yeah, well, I think he should, and I think you
would make the American people blush to know that. And
I think beyond that, the states that Texas included should
also be sending an invoice for how much we've been
spending on the border as well when the federal governments
failed to do so. So I think there's probably billions
of dollars though to the state of Texas and ode
to states around the country based on the field policies
(59:31):
of the buidadman.
Speaker 4 (59:32):
I think you're probably right. And there's healthcare and energy,
a whole lot of other things we can get into
some other time. But great, great, always a pleasure, sir.
Thank you. CEO of the Texas Public Policy Validation Greg Sindelar,
it's six twenty six, Okay, it's time to take a
look at your money. Jeff Bellinger is in again this morning.

to what a second Trump administration means for our relationship
with the Chinese.
Speaker 27 (01:05:50):
The Chinese leaders didn't want Trump anywhere near the Oval Office,
and that's because President Trump is unpredictable and they have
no idea and so therefore I think they're going to
give him a very wide growst because they don't want
to find out what he will do.
Speaker 12 (01:06:03):

Speaker 41 (01:06:37):
The new Trump administration is really going to have to
come up with plans that provide that consistency, that understanding
and reduces the overall regulatory burden on industry. That is
the best thing that can happen that helps American and
that helps the industry.
Speaker 12 (01:06:51):

The resistance fighters on the progressive left, the female resistance fighters,
are feeling betrayed by the fifty three percent of white
women who voted for Donald Trump, and they don't feel safe,
so they are either wearing or tattooing a blue bracelet
(01:08:40):
around their wrist so they can identify each other as
anti fascist, pro abortion Kamala Harris supporters. They want to
make sure that they don't you know, pollute themselves by
being of the presence of people who voted for Trump.
This is this is their reality. This is this is
(01:09:03):
how emotional, emotionally wrought some of these people are. They're
also encouraging people to not make their own bracelets. If
you're not going to get the tattooed and you're going

buy it from a black owned jewelry company. I'm saying
(01:09:24):
that that we need to we need to have a
unity bracelet, and we need to make sure that we're
you know, covering ourselves as far as you know, diversity, equity,
and inclusion. So it's it's safe to say that there
is a percentage of the population that, regardless of how
the election turned out, that they are fully committed to
(01:09:45):
their belief system and they're not going to change. The
good news is now they can identify themselves and we
can identify them too, and we can choose not to

going to choose evidently not to spend any time talking
to us. Six four the time for traffic and weather together.

Speaker 5 (01:11:25):
If you pick them right, you'll have to worry about that.
Speaker 4 (01:11:26):
For Mark atrh Generator Supercenter, twenty four hour weather Center
partly Claude with the high temperature about eighty three today, sunny,
warm around eighty tomorrow. In the Wednesday, partly Claudia's light
chance of a rain shower. With the high temperature of
eighty four, it is still sixty five at your official
severe weather station, News Radio seven forty k TRH. Time
to get you well, Oh, I forgot where I am
(01:11:49):
in the clock here this morning. Are you still there,
Jeff mar I am. But you handle that well. I
did well, thank you. I'm just gonna whip right through it.
So I'm gonna let you do me a favor and
give me it kind of a long look. What do
you think is going to be happening towards the tail
end of the week. Are we ever going to see
these fall temperatures show up?
Speaker 25 (01:12:05):
We're gonna cool a little bit, but we're talking about
some mid to upper sixties. So that's a little bit
below average force for this portion of November, but certainly
above that on this Veterans Day. The main challenge this
morning the dense fog, as you just heard building down
at our corp of a mile mini location, So use
some caution heading out. We've got a dense fog advisory
until nine am. After the fog lifts, we'll see a
lot of sun. It hit eighty two for an afternoon
(01:12:26):
high clear over night down to sixty seventy nine with
sunshine tomorrow's side. Chance for a threaders from Wednesday after
eighty two, then a little bit cooler with sunshine Thursday
and Friday's highest at the midw upper seventies.
Speaker 4 (01:12:35):
Each day, it is sixty five at your official severe
weather station, News radio seven forty k TRH. You are commute,
you are forecast your news. It's Houston's Morning News, brought
to you buying new South Windows solutions. So the progressive
left meltdown is continuing unobated. I just wonder what's going
(01:12:57):
to be left of the media when the dust finally
clears here, Because certainly the ladies on the view haven't
been backed off at all. MSNBC hasn't changed their tune
at all, especially joy Read. We'll share little joy Read
audio and get some reaction to it coming up next.
But at what point do they just kind of have
to say, we can't afford to continue to do this anymore.
(01:13:17):
Will they ever realize that or will it just you know,
will they just be heading up their own parade of
demise at some point in time. You have to think
it's going to come to that, isn't it. I mean,
when you don't have any ratings left and you can't
sell any advertising, and the people who are advertising with
you decide, yeah, that's enough of that, We're not going
to do this anymore. I would think it would get
(01:13:39):
their atention at some point. We'll see right now those
six fifty times four traffic and whether it's together. I
guess she could go on hunger strike. That wouldn't be
a problem.
Speaker 6 (01:13:49):
Can cat her on a metro bus Southwest Freeway outbound.
Speaker 7 (01:13:53):
See that's a double beach nut. They cleared it.
Speaker 6 (01:13:55):
It was an accident and it involved a metro bus outbound.
We still have the backups now from the West Park Curve.
Let's chump on the West Park itself or all ninety
the most city Expressway. Look at all that fog out
to the west. I want you to be super careful,
give yourself an early start if you're coming in from Berkshire, Seay, Columbus,
anywhere out to the west. And also, it looks like
(01:14:16):
we just cleared whatever that was on the south with
six tenn at Colin that was westbound.
Speaker 5 (01:14:21):
It's out of your way.
Speaker 6 (01:14:22):
I'm Skymike in the Classic Buick GMC Traffic Center from
r KTRH Generator Supercenter, twenty four hour Weather Center party
Claude today with the high temperature about eighty three.
Speaker 5 (01:14:32):
That's after the fog lifts.
Speaker 4 (01:14:33):
If you're happening to be in a spot that's getting
a lot of fog right now, sunny and warm, about
eighty four tomorrow and then Wednesday partly claude with alight,
chance for rain showering a high temperature of eighty four.
Current temperature is sixty five at your official severe weather station,
News Radio seven forty k TRAH. I'm going to get
you an update on some of our top stories. Here's Cliff,
Thank you, Jimmy.
Speaker 12 (01:14:52):
After winning Nevada and Arizona, Donald Trump can claim victories
in all seventh battleground states. Several popular decongestions, including pseudo
fed pe and Dayquill, are being affected by an FDA
proposal to remove punks with feneleprin, saying it's ineffective, And
hundreds of national parks across the US have free entry
today to celebrate Veterans Day. At the latest news anytime

Speaker 7 (01:15:25):
Ten as well.
Speaker 4 (01:15:29):
As they're still point the finger of blame, let's point
the finger of blame at Hispanic males, Latino men, whatever
description you want to go with. That's who Joy read
over on MSNBC says, is to blame for what happened
to Kamala Harrison the election. So here she is making
her complaint. Greg Guttfeld reacts at the other end.
Speaker 46 (01:15:48):
Latino men, who, despite the utter disrespect shown by Trump
and his promised and to port some of your mixed class,
mixed status families, most of them voted in a big
majority to make the deportations happen. Y'all voted with Steven
Miller and David Duke and against your own sisters and
chose Kamala who chose Kamala Harris with sixty percent of
(01:16:11):
their votes. So you own everything that happens to your
mixed status families.
Speaker 47 (01:16:16):
It's like you know, when your parents go away over
the weekend, so you throw a kegger, But when the
adults come home, you better start cleaning up the mess,
because if you don't, there.
Speaker 2 (01:16:23):
Will be hell to pay.
Speaker 47 (01:16:25):
And I think that's the way Trump, the Trump effect is.
I think after Trump won, the EU just said they're
buying oil from America over Russia. I wonder why, the
moment the guy wins, all of a sudden, mysteriously, the
bad stuff starts going away. You know, the Latino district
that voted for Trump by seventy five percent also voted
for Clinton by a huge margin.
Speaker 7 (01:16:44):
I guess that's misogyny too.
Speaker 5 (01:16:45):
I don't know.
Speaker 48 (01:16:46):
I think Joy Reid has completely lost her crap. The
Latino vote is a great example again of a media
narrative failing to have any effect on an inoculated population.
Speaker 47 (01:16:58):
The narrative stip related that this joke by Tony Hinchcliff was.
Speaker 48 (01:17:02):
Going to turn Latinos against Trump.
Speaker 47 (01:17:05):
You get the Trump gets what, forty five percent of
the Latino vote, the.
Speaker 7 (01:17:09):
Majority of men, largest in recent history.
Speaker 47 (01:17:12):
The Democrats somehow assume that Latinos they can't take a joke, right.
They also assume people had no other concerns.
Speaker 7 (01:17:19):
You know, besides a joke.
Speaker 47 (01:17:20):
Maybe for elite Latinos on X you know, who don't
have to worry about crime or inflation or the ecotomy
or immigration.
Speaker 2 (01:17:29):
They can get.
Speaker 48 (01:17:30):
Upset about a joke, but nobody bought that narrative.
Speaker 2 (01:17:33):
And I go back to what I said before. It's
not about left or right anymore.
Speaker 47 (01:17:36):
It's about how the news creates narratives to brainwash you.
Speaker 2 (01:17:40):
And it's not happening.
Speaker 4 (01:17:42):
Yeah, brainwashing is over, at least for now. Six fifty four.

Trump's personality.

Republican Congress to work with the gops two hundred and
fourteen House seats, four away from the majority. Trump meets
with President Joe Biden at the White House on Wednesday.
(01:21:30):
Expect Biden to try and pressure Trump and to continue
spending billions on Ukraine.
Speaker 14 (01:21:35):
The United States should not walk away from Ukraine. That
walking away from Ukraine means more instability in.

and they should be fired immediately.
Speaker 12 (01:22:15):
Florida Congressman Byron Donald's state of Texas has been fighting

Texas will now be able to work with the federal

Texas Public Policy Foundation CEO Greg Sindelar told KTRH, Texas

Speaker 17 (01:22:43):
I'm really excited about that because I think there's a
lot of things that Texas has wanted to do that
they haven't been able to do due to the federal
government or at least of feil government trying to stop them.

Well, Bruce Springsty was one of those celebrities who came
out for Kambla Hairs that did he get paid? I
don't know. I haven't seen anything about whether or not
he got paid. I did see that Oprah Winfrey, or
at least in this case, Well, it wasn't me, it
was my production company, Harpo Productions, which is the production
company showns, was paid one million dollars. I'm guessing that
(01:27:11):
the excuse for that would be if you were to
ask Oprah, she would probably say, well, it wasn't for me,
it was for the production company, and we had expenses,
you know, for that interview thing, town hall thing that
we did, and blah blah blah blah blah. But Oprah
could afford to do for free if she really wanted
to do it for free. And as it turns out,
(01:27:32):
a lot of the celebrities who made appearances or did
concerts were charging for their services, and over twenty million
dollars evidently was spent in the last days of the
Harris campaign producing and doing these concerts as a way
(01:27:53):
to try to turn the vote around, and clearly that
didn't work very well. You know, the days of celebrity
endorsements as it relates to politics, I think they're they're
they're long gone. I don't think that people really care
who George Clooney supports or anybody else, as far as
(01:28:13):
that goes by the same token. Maybe, well I take
that back, maybe it would count a little bit more
if it was a celebrity endorsing Trump only because there's
so few that were willing to do it. Some of
them are very high profile. At Kid Rock, I can
I feel pretty confident in saying that the Trump campaign
(01:28:34):
didn't have to pay Kid Rock a penny in order
to come out and endorse Donald Trump for President of
the United States. But word has it that the Hairs campaign,
you know it, has not paid all of their bills,
and there are some worries by some of the people
they owe money to whether or not they will pay
them back. Seven to ten time for traffic and weather. Together,

All right, that's southbound.
Speaker 6 (01:29:15):
This is gonna scutch up your east text elevated worse
than it normally is. So I see those backups from quipment.
This will also cause iten inbound. Those backups will be
connected like your neebone from Lockwood, So that's going to
mess you up there. I think it's going to mess
up iten going the other way eastbound around the Saint
Arnold plant because that's connected like your newbone with that
connector rimp if it makes sense.

On the day.
Speaker 4 (01:31:12):
So, one of the items on the Trump agenda, the
mass deportation item, has a lot of people going, what
does he mean by mass deportation? Can we really define
what that means? And I don't think I've ever heard
the president himself in this case, the President elect himself
say exactly what he means by mass deportation, I think,
(01:31:37):
although I will say he's I think made it very
very clear that the priority here are criminals, the Venezuelan gangs,
that people bring fentanyl into the country. That's the number one,
top priority. But at the end of the day, can
we define what is meant by mass deportation if we're
no other reason than to alleviate some of the worry
(01:31:58):
that some people have that there's gonna be I'm sort
of a big roundup of people in something akin to
concentration camps, which of course is ridiculous. Barn that story.
Coming up next, we'll talk to a guy by the
name of Dan Stein, president of the Federation for American
Immigration Reform. Coming up in just a couple of minutes,

Speaker 3 (01:33:39):
This is the greatest political comeback of all time.
Speaker 2 (01:33:43):
This has ever been two three, four times.
Speaker 7 (01:33:45):
Today News Radio seven forty.
Speaker 4 (01:33:47):
KTRH seven twenty two start time here on Houston's Warning News.
So mass deportation, what does that look like? Everybody keeps
asking that question, Dan Stein, joins, US President of the
Federation for American Immigration Reform. In your mind, Dan, what
does mass deportation look like?
Speaker 8 (01:34:06):
Well, mass deportation follows mass illegal immigration, and corollary, of course,
is as you said, administration's going to establish tiered priorities, right,
because in the end you have to rationalize resources. But
with Tom Home and his borders are now in the
White House, nobody really understands better than him the role
(01:34:27):
that immigration Customs enforcement plays in prioritizing resources, how you
decide to go after people. So clearly, you know you
have to pick and choose, but you know, the common
sense position is that you've got you know, several hundred
thousand aliens in the country with who've basically been ordered deported,
They've had their process in court, and they've never left
(01:34:48):
the country. So they're obviously going to be an easy priority,
minimum amount of procedural process to remove them. You're going
to go find them and to get them out of
the country. Secondly, of course, American people obviously in this
election said they're concerned about criminal gangs like Trandoga from
Venezuela MS thirteen, I mean establishing themselves in this country.
(01:35:11):
A lot of these folks are here either illegally or
they were parolled in without proper criminal vetting by the
Biden administration. Clearly, they're going to be a priority for
removal aliens of criminal convictions, and you're likely to see,
of course, the reimposition of the Trump executive orders that
Biden repealed in his first one hundred days on things
like mandatory detention for asylum seekers remain in Mexico, using
(01:35:35):
trade leverage to get cooperation from or chalcetson countries down
in South America, Latin America, Central America. And then of
course you know with home and there you're going to
see a very aggressive stance against these so called sanctuary
jurisdictions states and cities and getting the cooperation of state
and local police to hand over criminal aliens as they're
(01:35:59):
released from prison. And after that, of course, then you're
going to start looking at and this is probably maybe
next year twenty twenty six, looking at all these aliens
who are parolled into the country on mirror asylum claims
when the law is perfectly clear that that's not lawful.
It's abuse of parole, and which is why we have
millions and millions of people here effectively illegally because parole
(01:36:21):
is not legally being admitted into the country. You're still
basically here illegally under parole. This kind of stuff can
be accelerated because you know, making an asylum claim knowing
that you're not going.
Speaker 7 (01:36:33):
To get a hearing for years in advance means.
Speaker 8 (01:36:36):
That most of these folks really don't have legitimate asylum claims.
Speaker 4 (01:36:39):
Well, you just brought them down the road. You just
brought up a great point though about waiting for years
to hear the cases. That's one of the big issues, right,
How are you going to make sure we have enough
immigration judges and people involved in the system to get
those days in court.
Speaker 8 (01:36:53):
Well, the advantage of having a Republican Congress is they
can you ask for kind of budget increase is to
do that. There's no reason why silent claim has to
be decided by an immigration judge. But even so, you
can increase the number of administrative adjudication officers to handle
these asylum claims quickly. In most cases, you start by
the first claims, the last claims coming in to adjudicate
(01:37:15):
those first, get them out of the country. Then you
start working your way through through the backlog. But there's
no question about it, this is going to be a
full resource operation. And the fact that he's appointed home
and to direct this thing from the White House to
try to coordinate the multi agency process, you know, means
that this is going to be, you know, a full
court proposition.
Speaker 4 (01:37:36):
Let me but try let me ask you this before
we run out of time here, because we're rapidly doing that.
And one of the big problems, obviously it has been illustrated,
is the cartel trade, not only in human trafficking and smuggling,
but also in infentanol. How do we get what resources
might a Trump administration put to work? Do you think
as far as taking care of the cartel and the
(01:37:58):
and the drug problems.
Speaker 8 (01:38:01):
Well, you know what he did so effectively in Trump
won was to leverage trade relations with Mexican government to
help them take on the cartels. I mean, the cartels
have been using the Biden administration's policies to accelerate the
introduction of fentanyl because by trafficking in mass aliens coming
across the border, the border patrol was distracted through processing.
(01:38:23):
That's when the cartels bringing the fentanyl. So once you
shut down the flow come across the border, you know,
that takes the cartels out of the smuggling business, and
then you have a better opportunity to control the border
and then getting the cooperation of the Mexican military and
perhaps even working cooperatively with our military, we can start
taking these cartels and getting them out of business. Because
(01:38:45):
you know this is going to require strong bilateral cooperation,
and this is something Trump has shown himself to be
very effective at night CERTA.
Speaker 4 (01:38:52):
We have to leave it at that for today, But
thank you, appreciated, President of the Federation for American Immigration Reform.
Speaker 5 (01:38:58):
That is Dan Stein.

and now some Democrats are pushing for it.
Speaker 34 (01:41:37):
Joe Biden's been a phenomenal president. He's lived up to
so many of the promises he's made. Is one promise
left that he could fulfill, being a transitional figure. He
could resign the presidency in the next thirty days, make
Kamala Harris the President of the United States will give
it absolved.
Speaker 11 (01:41:49):
Wow.
Speaker 12 (01:41:50):
Former Harris communications director Jamal Simmons there on CNN that
clip is evidence that the left may not have learned
anything from last week's election. And we'll continue and you're
pushing their radical agenda.
Speaker 11 (01:42:02):
Democrats are going to have to left for defeat after
defeat until those people who are pushing this radical, extreme
agenda are no longer seen as viable leaders.
Speaker 12 (01:42:13):
Political strategist lad Davidiak telling KTRH that this will require
a complete change in Democrat party leadership. And as the
dust settles on last week's vote, some people are already
starting to look ahead to twenty twenty eight. Donald Trump
will become a lame duck president on January twentieth, setting
the stage for a wide open White House race in

could see a contested primary.

Speaker 37 (01:43:26):

question of America's relationship with China and how things change
after January twentieth. Cliff We asked China expert Gordon Chang.

Speaker 4 (01:47:25):
Seven thirty eight is our time here on Houston's morning news.
Calls for unity that this, this always happens after an election,
right calls for unity. Let's just all decide that we're
going to talk to each other again and we're gonna
get along. After all, we're all Americans. Well that may be,
(01:47:47):
but we're all Americans with very different vision of what
the country is and what the country should be. Now,
do you think that anybody on the far left, any
of the progressives, really are interested in unity.
Speaker 5 (01:48:01):
No, they're not. They're not.
Speaker 4 (01:48:02):
They're not interested in unity. But the calls continue. Here's
one Joe Rogan. Yep, Joe Rogan. I guess he's hoping
that you know that he had a part, and obviously
he did have a part in how the election turned out.
He's hoping that this will be an opportunity for us
to all get together. But that's kind of naive on
his part. But let's take a listen to what he
(01:48:24):
has to say. We got a real chance to make
real change. He's got to not attack the left and
not attack everybody. Let them all talk there, but unite.
Speaker 8 (01:48:34):
Now.
Speaker 2 (01:48:34):
It's time to unite everybody.
Speaker 23 (01:48:36):
There are a lot of skiptics out there who don't
think President Trump is gonna be about unity.
Speaker 2 (01:48:40):
What do you say to Joe Rogan's point.
Speaker 15 (01:48:41):
I think what Joe Rogan is saying is absolutely correct,
and Donald Trump's going to be focused on those things.
Look at the announcements he's already made. One of the
key things is he wants he wants to support a
constitutional amendment to bring congressional term limits. That is something
that overwhelmingly the American people have supported for a very
long time. Look at what's happening already across the globe.
(01:49:02):
Qatar wants Hamas out of Doha. You have the Chinese
are signaling they want peaceful relations. You have the Russians
and the Ukrainians now saying they're open to talking. The
European Union wants to buy liquid natural gas from the
United States. This caravan that was building below our southern
border is now starting to break up because they know
Donald Trump's going to be the next president of the
(01:49:24):
United States and we are not going to tolerate more
illegal immigration. Those are the things that thenite the American people.
If you have talking heads on the left who still
want to go down the line of their conspiracy theories,
let them. Donald Trump's going to be focused on the
American people.
Speaker 4 (01:49:39):
That's Byron Donald's course. I'm sure he recognized his voice. Yeah,
uniting the American people. I think most of us can,
you know, most of us can maybe once the bitterness
of this election wears off, if it ever does for
people who are progressive and on the far left. But
I'm not seeing any signs. I'm seeing the gaven Dusoms
(01:50:00):
of the world trying to Trump proof their states and
in their states. I believe California is one of those
states where if they were to look at the electoral
map and see how Reddit's become in much of the
state of California, they would realize that they really need
to meet somewhere in the middle.
Speaker 5 (01:50:17):
But they're not.
Speaker 4 (01:50:19):
They're not so if they're not willing to meet in
the middle. Then I think it doesn't make sense for
conservatives to be the only ones who are willing to
meet in the middle.
Speaker 5 (01:50:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:50:30):
Unity, I'd love to see it, But the only time
that's happened in recent history is on nine to eleven.
And let's hope we don't have to have another nine
to eleven in order to get some form of unity.
I'll settle for let's just agree to disagree. Okay, let's
also do a little traffic and whether together. What's it
looking like out there?

Speaker 4 (01:55:33):
So are we gonna have a brand new fucking president
before we have President Trump? It's it's being talked about,
evidently being talked about whether or not Joe Biden should
step down, he should resign and allow Kamala Harris to
fill out with his left of his term, which is
basically what's left of November December and a part of
January before inauguration day. So basically she'd be like, what
(01:55:59):
about aty day President? About six week president? You know,
even if you wanted to do that, if you're Joe Biden,
because you're trying to say, yeah, I want to everybody
to think I'm just a swell guy. I want to
be responsible for us having the first black woman president
of the United States. I mean, we do realize right
that that's not a free thing for one thing, you
(01:56:22):
don't you only have to serve a day in order
to be able to qualify for all the benefits you
get as being a former president of the United States,
Like I don't know, like your salary for the rest
