Alrighty, so we're gonna jump intosome email questions to start with since we
don't have calls yet, but thelines are open and ready to go.
So seven one three two one twofive eight seven four. This one actually

(03:23):
just came in late yesterday, HiJim. This came from Lane and Grandberry.
Actually, Hi Jim. When roofgets replaced, they're going to lift
off enough decking to shoot new fiberglassin this mobile home attic space. It's
approximately two foot high area at highestpoint. Can I have them just lay

(03:49):
radiant barrier down over the new fiberglass, not anchoring radiant barrier at all,
just laying it down. If yes, please say again which barrier to buy?
Thanks Lena. Well, actually youcan. That's the energy Que Radiant
barrier. But because you're putting ona new roof, you actually have two

(04:10):
choices. You can when you gotit opened up, you can just lay
the insulation or the radiant barrier inthere on top of the insulation, and
that's actually the way you install itin the attic. Or you can put
the radiant barrier underneath the shingles. The energy QUE Radiant barrier is a multi

(04:32):
layer barrier. It's still just realthin, but it's five layers thick.
Get a thermal brake in the middle, and so it can be sandwiched in
building materials and you can put itdirectly under the shingles. Won't affect the
shingles at all, but it basicallystops the heat from going into the attic.

(04:54):
Your other choice would be to layit on the insulation in the attic.
In the the heat that does getin the attic doesn't go down into
the installations. So you can doit either way and have a great result
from it. So, yes,you have two two options there. Energy
Q Radiant Barrier. You can goto th chi pro dot com and find

(05:19):
the link there. But their websiteis Energy the letter q dot com.
Or you can call them at oneeight hundred nine hundred sixty two twenty and
uh, you know, talk withthem about it. They'll they'll they'll be
more than happy to help you outwith where to put it in, how
to put it in again. Ifyou got a question seven one three two

(05:43):
one two five eight seven four. That's seven one three, two, one
two five eight seven four. Anyhome improvement question you have, feel free
to pick up phone, give mea call and I'll see what I can
do to help you out here onTexas home improvement. And let's see this
one came in from Mark in Woodville. He's asking about flooring in the lake

(06:09):
house. Part on concrete slavin theother parts on rotting wood foundation. Looking
for a good contractor for replacement ofwood foundation in part of my lake house
located in Woodville. It's within thecity of Ivanhoe. Well, I happen
to know where that's out because ourhunting lease is out in Woodville, Texas

(06:30):
and we go there all the time. We can do work there for you
with no problem at all. Sogive due West Foundation Repair call at seven
one three four seven, three seven, one five six be more than happy
to get that taken care of.And since we're up there all the time,
you know, it's easy for usto swing by, take a look

(06:53):
and see what it's gonna take asfar as cost wise for you. So
yes, dust can definitely help youout with that. And let's see,
this is from Mark in Kennadale andhe wants to replace the subfloor remodeling.

(07:15):
I think my subfloor needs to betaken out of my living room, kitchen
and laundry room. Then the flooringneeds to be replaced. Well, if
you're taking out the subfloor, you'regonna have to take out the flooring first
to do that. So yeah,I've got no question that your sub your

(07:36):
flooring will have to be replaced.I'm not sure why you feel that the
subfloor needs to be replaced, Andtypically if you're having to get into replacing
subfloor, you may be having anissue with some of the floor joists as
well, so that needs to bechecked also. And if it depends on

(08:00):
what all needs to be done, will actually depend on who you need to
contact, because truly, if you'rejust doing the subfloor, really a carpenter
or even the flooring company should beable to do that. Definitely, a
carpenter can. If you're getting intohaving to replace the floor joist and the
subfloor, then typically you're getting intoa foundation repair company because most of the

(08:24):
time the carpenters they don't want toreplace the floor joist and stuff. And
I'm not sure why because it's usuallynot that difficult, but they just don't
like getting into the structural part ofit, I guess. But this again,
if you want to give Due Westto call the Dallas number is nine

(08:45):
seven two four zero six zero nineone two and they'd be more than happy
to take care of that for you. And again our phone number seven one
three two one two eight seven four. That seven one three two one two
five eight seven four in the homeimprovement question you have feel free to pick

(09:09):
up the phone, give me acall and I'll see what I can do
to help you out. Ah Shaunain Garland as an attached sunroom. It's
sinking. We've jacked it up severaltimes over thirty years. However, we
need a permanent solution. Not surewho to call foundation expert or someone else?

(09:35):
Well, and look, I knowthese are most of these are foundation
related. I am reading them rightin order as how they're coming in.
If you're questioning what the droughts doingright now to the soils and the foundations,
this ought to be answering your questionfor it. The two most prominent
emails and questions we're getting are eitherair conditioning or foundation right now out and

(10:00):
it's all tied back to the heatand the drought. As the soils are
drying out, they're shrinking. Youget them wet, they'll expand again,
but not quite as much as theywere. So Shauna, let's take a
look here. You've jacked it upseveral times over thirty years. However,
you need a permanent solution. Youknow, it's really going to depend on

(10:24):
the foundation itself. And I saythat because a lot of these rooms were
built on patios, and if it'sjust built on a patio, there is
no permanent solution because it's just fourinches of concrete and it's going to be
moving with the soil. If ithas a perimeter beam, then there should

(10:46):
be ways to install either. It'sprobably too light for a concrete press pile,
so you probably be looking at eitherputting in a steel pile or a
helical or a drilled pier, andone of those methods. As long as
there's a beam, there can beput in to stabilize it. Now,

(11:07):
you mentioned it's been jacked up severaltimes over the last thirty years. If
it's only been adjusted on the existingpiers, then you have options to do
something else. However, you gotto keep in mind on foundation repair,
you've got three tries and then there'sno space left to put in new piers.

(11:28):
So if this thing's been messed withseveral times, and each time they
put in a new set of peers, you may be stuck with whatever's been
done to it. So regardless, give to West to call again. You're
in the Dallas Fort Worth area,so it's nine seven two four zero six
zero nine one two and again sevenone three, two, one two five

(11:50):
eight seven fours our number. Let'ssee Carol. This is Jim. How
can I help you? How canI help you? This is Carol and
Cyprus. I have a plumbing question. I have a twenty year old one
handle faucet in the master bath andit's leaking. Unless you turn it to

(12:15):
one particular position, any other positionit leaks. So am I right that
I need to replace the faucet. It's not just a washer or some part
of the faucet. The whole faucetneeds to be replaced. No, very
well, maybe just a cartridge thatgoes inside the faucet when it's a one
handle that way, it is thatcartridge stem that sticks out. That whole

(12:37):
assembly is replaceable. Usually the housingis still good. And so by replacing
that cartridge that goes in, andthat's what it's called, is a cartridge
okay, that replaces everything and andtakes care of that. Now, one
other question I'm thinking that I'm meantaking advantage of because the fella is telling

(13:03):
me, because the PVC underneath thesink is twenty years old, that there's
a high chance it will leak, even though it's not leaking now. And
they're wanting to charge over four hundreddollars to replace the faucet, the drain
and all of the PVC underneath. And I'm smelling a sales pitch. Well,

(13:30):
the drain, you know, asfar as the pea trap and stuff,
is that what they're talking about onthe PC? Yes, all the
stuff underneath underneath a sink. Escorthim to the door and find another plumber.
That's what I thought, and Itrust you, Jim Dutton. Thank
you for being there for us onthe weekend. Oh not a problem.
If you need a plumber you cantrust call my company do Us Total Plumbing.

(13:52):
They'll take care of you. I'lldo it. Thank you so much.
Byeye welcome bye. Yeah, they'rejust because the p trap is twenty
years old definitely does not mean itneeds to be replaced now. If it's
got where on it or something likethat, hey yeah, then you start
taking a look at it. Butthe unfortunate thing is there are a lot

(14:18):
of scam artists when it comes toall the service traits, whether it's plumbing,
air conditioning, foundation repair, electricalroofing. I mean, there's just
a lot of bad actors out there, and you know, finding the right
contractors can be difficult, and thatreally is what the thhi website's all about.

(14:41):
When you're looking for contractors, goto thhipro dot com and you will
find contractors that I have checked outand know we're going to do a good
job for you. So again that'stipro dot com. One of the contractors
you'll find on there obviously is doWest and whether it's air conditioning, plumbing
or foundation repair. When you wantthe best, you call due West.

(15:05):
You can find us again at thethhipro dot com web site or just call
us seven one three four seven threeseven one five six and that number will
get you in touch with the callcenter at our office. And it's not
an outside call center. It isour office during business hours anyways, and

(15:28):
for us, that's from seven am. Till five pm. Then it
will roll to an answering service whowill guide your call. But you know,
taking care of the customers is reallywhat it's about. Anybody can have
issues with a project, including dueWest. It's how you take care of
your customers when there is a problemthat makes a difference between a fair contractor

(15:52):
and a great contractor. And whenyou want the best, you called due
West. All right, we're justtalking about pad actors in different trades.
That can happen in any trade.Well, let me tell you about a
window company who's going to take greatcare of you. It's Texas Remodel Teams
Window Division. Yeah, we knowhow well Texas Remodel Team takes care of

(16:14):
their clients because they've been on theshow for ten years doing remodeling what we
haven't talked about is the fact thatthey also have a window division. That's
all that division does is replacement windows. And if you're looking for maybe you're

tells you they're going to take greatcare of you as well. So if
you need new windows, called TexasRemodel Team Division today at two eight one
six one two fifty nine ninety one. That's two eight one six one two

(16:59):
five nine one, or just goto th chi pro dot com and click
on the link for Texas Remodel Team. To all you folks who like to
vent on social media, shut upand vent your atom. It's probably one
hundred and fifty degrees in that. We're back to Texas Home Improvement with Jimmy

(17:22):
Duck. Hey, welcome back toTexas Home Improvement. Seven one three,
two one two five eight seven four. This portion of Texas Home Improvement is
made possible by Sunburst shutters. Again, if you're looking for replacement windows,
that is the company to call.Let's get ready to head out on a

(17:44):
call. Here seven one three twoone two five eight seven four We're headed
to Kingwood and Tom, welcome toseven forty KTRH. How can I help
you? Yes, her, Thankyou. I've got a house in Baytown
and I hear you talking about, you know, watering around the house.
But it's literally it's the soil andthe fountain or the dirt and everything is

(18:12):
about all the way around the houseis like two or three inches from the
foundation. So I'm afraid to water. Now do I What do I do?
Do I put some soil in thereor something first? Or what?
No? Because if you do,as the soil starts expand, now you've

(18:32):
got something in the way. SoI'll tell you what, Tom, we
got to take a break for news, traffic and weather. When I come
back, I'll come back to youand we'll take care of addressing that,
because yeah, that's happening to alot of people right now. Let's talk

(18:53):
about American standard. You know alot of air conditioners are having problems right
now as well, and if you'rethinking about a new one, you need
to consider American standard. You know, American standard is my choice I've been
using their system since nineteen ninety nineand they're nationally recognized for excellence for performance,
reliability, and customer satisfaction. Takecare of your family all year long

(19:18):
with American Standard Air American Standard technology. It meets the ever changing Texas weather
head on so you can keep yourhome cool and humidity free or be ready
for a little heat when you needit. Invest wisely and invest in the
home comfort system that will last youa long, long time. Comfort the
way you like it. American StandardAir dot Com. And you know,

(19:41):
in ninety nine when I bought myfirst American Standard system, I went with
the single speed. Since then,I pretty much have been buying the variable
speeds. Love the humidity control ofthe variable speed. Do you think it's
hot now? We're just getting warm. We're back to Jim Duncan Texas Home

(20:04):
Improvement. Hey, welcome back toTexas Home Improvement seven one three, two,
one two, five eight seven four. When we left, I was
talking with Tom and Kingwood. He'sgot a rent house in Baytown and the
soils pulled away from the foundation asit's dried, and he's concerned by just
watering that may not be enough thathe needs to put some soil in there.

(20:27):
Is that pretty much accurate? Tom, Yes, sir, Okay.
The thing is the soil will expandagain. Now, it will not expand
quite as much as it was thetime before, but as far as closing
up that gap by watering, itwill close that gap up. Now,

(20:47):
I'm gonna tell you up front,we are so far into this drought right
now. Watering itself isn't going toclose it all the way. But when
we start getting rain again, andsomeday we will, it will close it
up again. And if you puta bunch of soil in there, whether
it's sand or top soil or whatever, it acts as a wedge and it

(21:10):
starts making the soils then kind kindof pushing funny directions that it wouldn't have
done had you not put soil inthere. That same yard, if you
walk out across that yard, you'veprobably got cracks in the soil that are
two and three inches wide going throughthat yard. And you know it's it's

(21:30):
the same thing. The water willclose all that up. You know,
if you if we go back tothe drought of like eighty eighty one,
I can remember walking across the yardand literally having my foot fall into a
crack in the soil, and onceit started raining, all of that closed

(21:52):
up. But we always talk aboutthe fact that the moisture the active zone
of the soil is five to sevenfoot deep. Everything beyond that is held
down by the weight of the soilitself. So if we dug a pit,
say seven foot deep, we nowmade the new active zone five to

(22:14):
seven foot down from that, andsome of these cracks that we see in
the soil they will go fifteen twentyfeet deep into the ground. So the
moisture change can be quite deep, but the movement of the soil is limited
to the top five or seven footsimply just for the weight of the soil

(22:36):
itself. So if you'll start wateringit now, what you'll do is maintain
it from getting worse, and itmay help correct it some. But once
it starts raining, it'll correct thesoil back the way it was. Won't
necessarily raise a foundation back the wayit was, but it'll definitely close up
the cracks again in the soil.Okay, how should you water it with

(23:00):
a soaker hose or what kind ofa sprinkler should you use? Don't use
a sprinkler, because you lose abouttwenty percent to evaporation when you're using sprinklers,
and that includes yard irrigation systems andstuff. And that's also the reason
when they start doing water rashing, that's the first thing that they start cutting

(23:22):
off. But if you'll use asoaker hose or drip irrigation either one,
those are typically exempt from the waterrashing until you get up to some areas
stage four. Most areas at stagefive that you can no longer water for
the foundation and stuff. But thelast thing is by putting that soaker hose

(23:45):
or drip irrigation around the foundation,it's also taking care of the bushes and
you know, the flowers and stuff, because you want to keep it twelve
to eighteen inches away from the foundation. And what you're trying to do is
just make a moist ring all theway around the foundation. Okay, should

(24:06):
you work like a soaker hose, like thirty minutes at a time in a
certain area or what do the wholehouse twice a day? And I typically
tell people start at fifteen minutes, but because we're so far into this drought
right now, I'm telling people twentytwenty five minutes twice a day, and

(24:27):
you really need to put it ona timer because you're not going to turn
it on and off twice a day. And if you're using soaker hoses,
make sure you get a pressure reduceror regulator. City pressure comes in at
fifty to eighty psi and you wantto drop that down to fifteen to twenty

(24:48):
psi. Take that little plug outof the soaker hose that comes with it.
You know it's got the little holedrilled in right, Get rid of
that. Put that pressure regulator onthere and you'll get even water dispersal through
the whole soaker hose. Okay, thank you so much, you Bet and

(25:10):
and Tom. If you go toour website thhipro dot com, we do
have a video there that shows youhow to set it up and install it
do it yourself system. Okay, thank you you Bet, take care and
for anybody who doesn't want to doit yourself, because truthfully, what we

(25:30):
tell you in the video is diga trench a couple inches deep and bury
the hose around the foundation and thatthat does get into a lot of work.
Du West does install irrigation systems forwatering the foundation. It's you know
one that we pull permits for andeverything else. But basically the drip irrigation

(25:56):
system that we install has the backflowpreventers and everything to make it all state
legal and stuff. So you cancall to do West office and they'd be
more than happy to take care ofyou with with those needs. Again,
if you've got a question seven onethree, two one two five eight seven
four. I mean, we've beentalking a lot of foundation questions here.

(26:18):
Doesn't have to be foundation related.Any question from the ground on up through
the roof. I'll be more thanhappy to help you out here. On
Texas Home Improvement seven one three, two one two, five eight seven fours
the number to call, and Richardand Plano sent an email about bathroom and

(26:41):
kitchen remodel. Can the countertops beremoved without damaging the cabinets? In almost
every case the answer is yes. Now, most countertops, depending on what
the countertop is. If you gotthe plywood down and then for micah over
the top of it, those aretypically screwed in and you just remove the

(27:03):
screws and the plywood can come off. Some of the others they use a
silicone or a glue to glue themdown. To the top of the cabinets
either way, that can be brokenloose and the countertops come off. So
the answer is yes, it definitelycan be done. A lot of times,

(27:26):
the question I get from people iscan I remove the countertops and reuse
them with new cabinets. That's alittle tougher. They can try, but
I will tell you that you sanda fifty fifty chance of the countertop breaking
when it's being removed again, itdepends on the material that it's made out

(27:48):
of. Got a question seven onethree, two one two five eight seven
four. Let's go down to LeagueCity, which mark? I was just
down in League City. I wentto the German restaurant down there for lunch
before the show today. How canI help you great? I've been meaning
to go there the last two years, so I hope it was good.

(28:08):
My question, please is kind ofa roll off from two questions ago.
My one section in my driveway ishas dropped about an inch obviously from the
drought, and would you recommend waitinguntil we have a good rain to see
where it kind of re level soto speak, before I would consider you
know, us using either do askor somebody like y'all to to raise it

(28:30):
up a tad you know, ifit's only down an inch, I absolutely
would recommend waiting because what's going tohappen is, you know, like you
were just alluding to, when whenit starts raining, it's gonna swell,
and so it would end up pickingit up higher than you have it right

(28:52):
now, or then higher than youpossibly want it. And yes, I
do that kind of work, butdepending on how far down it is right
now, because you know, ifyou're down, we do a lot of
them where they're down four or five, six inches. There's no point in
waiting on that. Go ahead andpick it up. But when you're only

(29:14):
dealing with that like an inch orso, yeah it's about an inch.
Yeah, unless it's causing you insome type of problem right now, I
would wait. Okay, that's kindof what I thought. All right,
Well, hey, that was it, just a quick question. I really
appreciate the answer, and thank youfor the review on the German restaurant.
It's just down the road for me, so I'll make sure to stop by.
You have a good day, sir. It's it's been there, what

(29:36):
three years? You gotta make sometime. Yeah, And you know I'm
half German. I actually speak German, so I don't know why I haven't
been there. So okay, well, thank you sir, you bet take
care all right, goodbye bye.Yeah, my mom's from Germany and so
we go to the different places andyeah, it's all. It's always fun.

(29:57):
In fact, mom and dad,my brother, his wife, my
wife, we were all down theretoday for lunch before doing the show.
Anyways, we've been talking about dous foundation repair, and you know,
do us foundation repair. We cantake care of the eurothine stuff like the
driveways and patios and that. Nowwe don't eure athane house foundations, and

(30:19):
we don't for a reason. You'reputting a house right back on the active
soil, and so you level withpeers and then you some people will try
to level the middle of the houseusing eurothane or fill the voids when these
soils start swelling when it rains again. You're going to see all kinds of

(30:40):
problems from doing that. Do yourleveling with the peers, Let the peers
support the foundation and let the soilsexpand up and down without anything that's going
to move the foundation and that warehouseswe do with eurothane all the time,
because that go up and down withoutdamaging sheet rock and stuff. But in

(31:02):
your home it doesn't work that way. And you know years ago everything used
to be mud pumped and they gotaway from it because of the problems.
The eurothane is just a different wayof mud pumping. You're simply filling the
void. And I can't stress toyou enough. Don't destroy your home by
doing the living area of your homewith eurothane. I would love to keep

(31:23):
my trucks busy doing it eurothane allthe time, but you know, you
got to know what it's good forand what it's not. But whether it's
foundation repair, plumbing or air conditioning. When you want the best called due
West, that's seven one three fourseven three seven one five six. Well,
you know those new windows. They'llinsulate your windows as far as the

(31:47):
airs or temperature transfers from outside in. But what about your walls. For
that you need to call USA Insulation. Yeah, you've heard me talk about
them for a long time already. They use a proprietary non expansive foam that
they can inject into the walls tofill the cavity even if you have existing

(32:08):
fiberglass insulation in the walls. Youknow, a newer home only has our
thirteen. But when you have thisfoam injected into the walls, it's going
to raise it up to like anR twenty four to R twenty six.
Doesn't that sound a whole lot betterfor your energy bills. Plus it's going
to stop all that air transfer. And you know what I'm talking about.

(32:30):
You go to plug something in onan outside wall on a cold day and
you feel that cool breeze coming infrom outside. The foam insulation is going
to seal all that up. I'mtelling you you want to make your house
energy efficient, you need to takea look at USA Insulation three four six,
two nine seven twenty eight hundred deathsthree four six two nine seven two

(32:53):
eight zero zero, or just goto thhipro dot com and click on the
link to US installation. Some placesput up with dishonest corrupt contractors. Don't
try that. Here here's more withJim Dotton on Texas Home Improvement. Hey,

(33:15):
welcome back to Texas Home Improvement.Your total home improvements. So we're
seven one three two one two fiveeight seven four let's head to the woodlands.
Andrew, Welcome to Texas Home improvement. Hey Jim, thanks for having
me on today. I appreciate everythingyou do for us on the weekends.
Oh my pleasure. I had aquick question for you. I bought a

(33:37):
house two years ago. It wasbuilt in nineteen eighty seven. It's still
got the original galvanized steel water pipes, and about eighteen months ago I had
a penhole leak that I patched andit's holding. The patch is holding.
But my question to you is,at this point the pipes are thirty six
years old and I've already had onepen whole leak, would you recommend a

(34:00):
whole house repipe or just replacing thesection that just has a patch on it
for right now. Yeah, thetypical age on the galvan ice pipes where
people are having to replace them issome are forty fifty years old. Okay,
once they get beyond that, that'swhen people are having to really pay

(34:22):
attention over one pin hole. Iprobably wouldn't be replacing it yet as long
as you still got good water flowand everything, because if there was any
like a nail head that was leaningagainst it, or any type of metal
touching that pipe through electrolysis, itwould have gotten a hole there. So
that makes sense. Yeah, soone little hole I wouldn't worry about.

(34:45):
You start getting a couple of them. It's now time to replace all the
pipes. Okay. Now, thepatch that I did was high pressure hydraulic
line tape, which is not apermanent fix. And the line that I
taked up is a feet a feedermain. It's a one inch main going
across the middle of the attic.Would you recommend going ahead and replace in
that section with another piece of gallonizer? Should I patch in a piece of

(35:09):
pecks? How long? Would youdo this? About eighteen months ago?
You like living dangerously, don't you? Yes, sir. They actually make
a clamp that you can put onthat, okay, and that would probably
be the easiest to do. Butif you want to go ahead and cut

(35:32):
it and try to put in apiece of pecks, that's fine. But
what you're gonna find when you tryto thread it. You're gonna know for
sure if that pipe is any goodor not. Yeah, okay, it's
like opening up a can of worms. Yes, sir, that's kind of
what I was getting at. Soif it was me, I would probably

(35:53):
get one of the clamp type patchkits. For it and put that on
and then just keep an eye onthings for two. You're ready to do
something, But like I said overone league, I wouldn't worry about it.
Okay. Now as far as contractorsgo, when I get ready to
do a whole house reepipe, doyou have any recommendations for contractors? If

(36:13):
you don't call due West, I'mgoing to be highly insulted. Okay,
and y'all will come out to theWoodlands, I'm assuming. Oh yes,
sir, absolutely, okay, soundsgood. Thank you, Jim, I

one five seven, six, eightfour five nine year five. You see,

(39:08):
all right, let's add them.Michael in Dickinson. Michael, you're
gonna be the last call of theday. How can I help you?
Yes, sir, I had aguardian roof put a new roof of my
house last year, and I havea cathedral ceiling, and so basically it's
had the office of the Energy QRadio Barry put in and so it's it's

(39:30):
the singles felt paper Energy Q andthen there's two by six roofling days and
then from there it's the open ceilingsof my living room. So they bring
the temperature down in the room fromlike a hundred and twenty on reading it
with a gun on the ceiling,to like a hundred and four now,

(39:52):
but you still got a hunt andforward degree temperatures. That's you know,
definitely warming up that room. Isthere something what can I put on the
inside? Is there any insulation inthat ceiling at all. There's no insulation.
It's it's literally you see the board, and then on the other side
of that it's the energy queue. Then yeah, and so the energy queue

(40:15):
did exactly what it's supposed to do. But now if you'll call USA insulation,
they can inject that foam into thatcathedral ceiling and you'll have a very
temperature controlled environment. Then there's noplace to inject it literally is the wood,

(40:36):
and then the wood that's outside isthe next layer. Okay, so
you don't have anything. Okay, then there's not really a whole heck of
a lot you can do with that. Maybe putting in just another layer of
that ceiling. That's kind of whatI was thinking. Yeah, I mean,

(40:57):
yeah, that's if there's not acavity that can be filled with some
insulation. Yeah, you're you're stuckwith putting another layer of something something there.
Okay, Yeah, it's kind ofwhat I'm thinking. But I was
like, maybe there's some magic magicthat in the seventies, I mean,
they've had to dealt with this, you know, all the ways from way
back then. Yeah, I wouldthink that there should be if it built

(41:17):
in the seventies, it should havea cavity up there. But and I
hate to do this to you,but I'm gonna have to let you go
because we are out of time. Thanks for listening to Texas Home Improvement.
