But the guy who made the defensive play of the game,
Brian param is downstairs with that. Thank you very much, Bob. Yes,
we are doined by Brian Parham and normally Brian I
try to lead in with, you know, talking about some
other guys and some other But there was no bigger
play in this game down the stretch than what you
were able to do. Describe what you saw on how
that play unfolded. Were you able to come up with

It was just fill back on my training. We worked
this all the time.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
Man.

Speaker 1 (00:28):
We did a little adjustment on the sideline. I just
communicated with my teammate saying, what an opportunity to present itself.
I just just got to go do my job. That's
all I wanted to do, was the basics say. It
worked out. So I'm just happy that that happened. I'm
not dreamed of doing many a time, so I'm just
glad I was able to get it done.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
And this was a duke offense that through most of
the second half they were able to drive the ball
and score. How were you able to collect yourself as
a defensive unit before that last drive and say, hey,
three point lead, let's get a stop.

Speaker 1 (00:56):
Me personally, I read in like my first drive come
out of have so I just wanted to get back
to like I was saying earlier, the basics. We just
stayed together, stayed up beat, and we went out there
and did our jobs. That's all it took was our jobs.
We know when we do our jobs, we can be
one of the best teams in the country.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
Thirty seven points for the offense. How reassuring is it
to know that you've got that group operating at such
a high level next year.

Speaker 1 (01:17):
It's great to know that. I know, I know Joey
gonna do his thing, I know Kim gonna do his thing.
I know Skyt and others gonna do their thing. So
it's just great. They're gonna make a play. So and
then we got to go make a play after that.
It's just good to have no office to have our
back if we're not on the top of our game.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
Lastly, first year in a Hutski's uniform, didn't really get
to play college football last year. How extra special is
it that all of this is coming together this season?

Speaker 1 (01:37):
It's great, man, They told me. They basically told me
I couldn't play last year. I went home in September
after the fourth game, and I never lost faith though.
I always knew who I was and I knew God
had a plan for me. So I just stuck it out,
came over here with Coach Moore, and I've developed I
was able to do what I do, So I'm glad
I knew what was gonna work out like this. I
never lost faith, and I'm just happy I am able
to showcase it.
