Speaker 1 (00:00):
Yeah, we're down here on the field with Ryan Daniels.
A couple more home runs, but first we'll talk about
the team's effort. It's not doesn't always have to be pretty,
but got the win today. So what did you make
of the guy's effort.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Yeah, I wouldn't say it was pretty.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
At first.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
We couldn't really hit, including myself. First, I beout was rough,
and then I saw some guys string it together and
that gives you confidence. And then I just want to
pick our teammates up. I know that first home run,
Robbie put a great swing on it the other way,
and Cale was battling a hand injury. After you dove
in the second base, I just wanted to pick them up.
So that was really important to me, and I think

(00:34):
playing for each other's the most important thing.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
Get a couple of home runs today. So with the
way you've been swinging the bat lately, what are you
seeing when you're in the box that you're just having
all this success.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
We made the smallest tweak of my hands, me and
Coach Horgan. So my dad also saw it. A couple
other people saw it, but I'll give it to coach Horgan.
He saw something with my hand. That was causing me
to drop my barrel a little bit. Me fix that up.
We've been working really hard on it for the last
few days and he's been really confident in what's going on,
and I'm confident in him. So it's been working out.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
When you fall down between second and third to bait
the catcher into the throw. How often are you working
on that as a group, because that's something that needs
to be corety. That doesn't just pop up. You have
to actually work on that in practice.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
No, that wasn't intentional. That wasn't intentional. So just tripped
over my shoelaces.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
That's all on consecutive pitches because you did it before
on the foul ball.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
Well, I didn't retie them, so it was still untied.
But now you do have to work on stuff like that,
I will say, but my shoes were.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
Untied and moving ahead with Saint John's looming, I mean,
where is the confidence of this team now having won
ten in a row.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
I mean the confidence is as high as ever. But
I will say our confidence was as high as ever
even when we were I don't know what a record was,
five and ten, five and fifteen. It was the same people.
Probably weren't as confident in us, but the players on
the field were just as confident. Everyone's confident in their
game no matter what's going on, so I trust everybody,
even the guys coming off the bench, to do their job.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Fran, congrats on the win. Go get him in Saint
John's thank you
