Speaker 1 (00:00):
Ezy back out here in Harford, and what a performance
your team put together. What do you think guys saying
this son general like yourself, you went nineteen points, had
seven assists. I think that might be close to a
ger high. But on on all, pretty good offensive performance.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
Yeah. I think we started off a little slow. Actually
we didn't start off slow. We started off doing well.
Ohio States are off on fire, but we started to
get our rhythm a little bit defensively and we got
turned into defensive turned into offensive points for us. I
mean to see Sarah Strong do what Sarah Strong does,
Blanca come in and dominate. It was a lot of
fun today just to see people come in and feel comfortable.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
Yeah, And I think you pretty much summarized the game
right there and saying that it was a track meet
in the first quarter and you kind matching Ohio State.
It didn't wondering if they were going to co op.
What do you think was the change that brought that
on to the second quarter that was different?

Speaker 2 (00:50):
Yeah. I mean, like I said, they started off on fire,
but I thought our defensive pressure and intensity wasn't quite
where it needed to be. And that second that second
quarter was when we turned it up a notch. They
were still getting shot, but they were more contested, they
were more we were We were in their in their pants,
whatever that crazy is. We were making it harder for them.
So I thought that we just ramped it up and
we stayed consistent the second, third and fourth quarter, and it.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Seemed at first that inside the paint, I mean, the
while they have sized, did not seem to be a
factor at all, whether it was Williams or Strong or
even our guards. Download.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Yeah, we knew that this was a game for our
big guys. They're big guys, could not guard our big guys.
They were on fire to I our big guys, and
then when they did their their small lineup, it was
trying to get the big bigs of touch because if
they're not getting an open layup, that means people are doubling,
tripling and people are gonna be wide open for shots.
And our bigs are as good as they are at scoring,
they're super good at passing. So they went to work tonight.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
And there's something to be said about the passing of
this team as well. Great assists by you, but the
pressure that Ohio State put on it. You were scoring
in two passes maybe three paces at the most to
get the transition baskets.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
Yeah. I mean we knew going into this game that
Ohio State loves the pressure. They loved the press, so
that was a big These last couple days in practice
was working on pressburg, working on being calm, working on
taking care of the ball, working on you know, continuing
to play ukomb bass one no matter what they throw
at us.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
And one thing that you mentioned seemed to be a
lot of fun out there this afternoon with everyone.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
It was a lot of fun. It felt good to
be back here, all right.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
Well, congratulations on the victory and we'll see it the
next game.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
Thank you.

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
