You see, the Democrats yesterday attempted and I will say
somewhat successfully to change the subject from the government being reopened.
Last night, President Donald Trump did sign in the Oval
Office the document necessary to reopen the government again. And

the Democrats, so desperate to change the subject, launch did
this over the top smear campaign against Trump and these
newly discovered doing that thing with my fingers emails from
Jeffrey Epstein.

As a bit of a preview, though I'm here to
tell you that as of this morning, it's gone.

And I knew this was going to happen.

I was talking with Melinda about it yesterday when it
all broke, and we were breaking it down in the
middle of watching a holiday baking championship on HBO. I
like my cooking shows, especially the holiday thing. Once but
I told her, I said, listen, this is going to
be gone in the morning.

It was wal to walk cover yesterday afternoon on all
of the media outlets. And it was nothing more than
an attempt to want to continue to smear Trump. That's
a given. That's the only thing that Democrats really have
right now. It's the only campaign is just to go
after Trump on everything.

But it was just a feudal attempt. Well, I shouldn't
say futile.

It was successful in going and drawing attention at least
temporarily away from the fact that they did they caved.
According to Democrat supporters, they caved on the budget shutdown,
got nothing for the forty days, the longest shutdown in history.

And in order to change the subject, look over here,
we've got fted emails.

Hey, you talk about Trump and we're retacting names to
make it more confusing. So focus on that right now.
And then of no surprise, on social media yesterday, you
name your prominent member of Congress that likes to post online,
and they had some sort of commentary hypocritical as they

were on so many different angles yesterday regarding the issue.
Also on today's show, we'll talk about crime a lot
of crime stories it took place, some horrific tales from
the past twenty four hours we'll dive into. We do
have more fraud talk students raised regarding Governor Tim Walls
and his response to the snap payments over the course

of a few years that balloon some one and seventy
four percent.

Krispy Kreme reopened for the first time since the last
door closed in two thousand and eight, not two thousand late.

Were all the individuals who lined up outside the new
friendly store yesterday. This is the thing we still do.
People still get this excited over Krispy Kreme. Listen, I
love me some doughnuts too when I'm not watching my waistline.
But I didn't realize that we were still lining up
for things like this.

Dozens of Minnesotans did so, though camped out overnight.

I guess you got double the show because you got
to camp out for Krispy Kreme, and then if you're
doing it overnight, you got to take in the Aurora Borealis, which.

My son Logan ended up driving up to Duluth sent
me some photos this morning.

The opening of the new Krispy Kreme at the plaza
of University Avenue at fifty seventh Avenue Northeast and Fridley
was so anticipated that the City of Fridley was warning
drivers to avoid the area on Tuesday, Oh beware of
flying glades to doughnuts, probably more concerned about the traffic.

Fox nine was on the scene when the store opened
at eight am. They found cars lined up through the
plaza onto the street, with a long line of customers
who waited outside the store. Speaking to the first people
in line, Michael Kaplan told Fox nine that he got
to the store at one pm on Tuesday. I showed
up seven hours, eight hours before everybody else, said Kaplan.

Good for you, man, it's good to have goals. It
was joined by his daughter Izzy for the overnight camp out.
Oh that's nice.

I played some bags, they got yard games, and they
got these amazing heaters. So it really was just hanging

anybody would trust anything that Democrats have to say right

of all people like the biggest scum of the earth.

Aurora borealis that I've seen never looks like it does
when it's portrayed in the movies. And I asked the
question of whether or not this was just because I haven't,
you know, been farther, you know, further enough north to
see it that way. I'm watching the video footage that
they shot on Tuesday night, and it was incredible, Like

there's a there's there's a shot of Melinda next to
the car, and the car it is just bathed in
the most gorgeous green and.

I mean it just it made the ground glow, just
absolutely in incredible. I mean bummed that I keep the
hours that I do, because I would have liked to
have seen that firsthand. And it looks like from what
Logan got last night, it was even more more spectacular.
All right, let's get to a few more of your
talkbacks as we dive into the fact that President Donald

Trump did sign the legislation last night to reopen the
federal government and end the longest shutdown in US history.
Members of the House of Representatives got back to d
C last night. It passed the bill earlier passed by
the Senate to reopen the government the hemp potency restrictions
that were included in the bill. My understanding is that

they did go through with the bill, as we talked
about at length with Lawyer extraordinaire Jeffrey O'Brien yesterday. Jeff O'Brien,
he was on the show in the seven and then
also eight o'clock hours, so we shouldn't check out that conversation.
So this is something that is going to have to
be dealt with down the line, even though it was
passed yesterday, because if this remains and isn't undone at

the DC level, it will end up a year from
now decimating those businesses that are currently selling the lower
potency THC products. And this was before the legalization of
recreational marijuana. And again we got into all of this yesterday,
so be sure to go and check out the podcast.

Some agencies had already begun sending out emails telling government employees,
the furloughed workers to expect to return to work on Thursday.

down enough.

The legislation does include a reversal of the firing of
federal workers by the Trump administration since the shutdown began.
It also protects federal workers against further layoffs January through
January and guarantees they are paid once the shutdown is over.
So that's pretty much the only thing the Democrats ended
up getting out of this bar from a handshake agreement

that Republicans will revisit the Obamacare subsidies sometime before or
in December.

Hey, John, I don't understand why every single television station
I turn on at every single radio station every twenty
minute news break, I'm here in Hakem Jeffries, and I
don't see any Republicans. I don't hear any Republicans talking
about the reasons why all this stuff is happening and

that Democrats are to blame for it.

Now, Tim has left a couple of different talkbacks this
morning relating to the same issue. Another one saying, here,
can you answer the question of why Republicans are not
telling the public wall to wall that the subsidies the
Democrats want to save are the COVID subsidies. And this
is a criticism I hear a lot. I've addressed it
a lot on the show. This is not on Republicans.

This is on the outlets of which you're watching. This
not on you for watching those outlets. Is just to
say that the majority of them are bias outlets.

The Republicans do talk about these things.

There are quotes available, and I see commentary online on
social media all the time that of Republicans making those
very statements and claims.

But it doesn't matter.

I guess I want to approach it a different way
and just and ask the question going back the other way,
what does it matter you think that's really going to go?
And this isn't on Tim It sounds like I'm directing him.

I'm not. I'm just more of a broader you know.

Do you are you under the impression that this is
going to change the hearts and minds of a majority
of voters that already hate Donald Trump and that are Democrats.
It's not changing anything.

Perhaps if you did see equal coverage and you did
see the commentary from Republicans that they do give during
numerous press conferences or their time spent on the floor
of Congress, then maybe you be able to reach some
individuals who keep an open enough mind. But that's not

happening anytime soon. The same thing happens at the local level.
I hear people complaining all the time about how why
aren't Republicans saying ABC and D Well, they do. There's
press conferences that get held. They simply do not get
the attention that they deserve. Now in the middle of
all this, yesterday came these Jeffrey Epstein emails and the

allegations that Trump knew about what was going on. One
redacted email saying that from Epstein to Helene saying that
Trump spent several hours with this one particular woman, this
one particular girl, and the name was redacted. Well, the
name was redacted, and I'm just kind of jumping and
we're going to get into more of this coming up

in just a moment. That name was redacted though, because
it was Virginia Giuffrey who threw oh legal depositions and
her own memoir She's no longer with us. Had stated
numerous times that President Donald Trump did not do any

bad behavior, cleared him of any wrongdoing, saying that he
did not act inappropriately. But those emails was all that
it took yesterday for Democrats to shotgun their commentary all across.

The internet, evoke the twenty fifth amendments, get him out
of office.

Mega is over, this is it, This is the smoking gun,
and yet this morning nowhere to be found because it
was just a distraction smear campaign and the Democrats knew it. Also,
they could have individuals on the left to go and
make ridiculous statements like this one that came into the
iHeartRadio app.

Never thought I'd here the day that Jahn Justice would
cover up for a pedophile, But here we are.

so keen to go and agree with or believe commentary
if you even believe these emails are real? Why is
everybody so quick to go and believe an actual pedophile

of the show and those suffering from Trumps arrangement syndrome
to leave ridiculous comments like that claiming that I'm going

so they have these headlines that pop up and they
usually have the smattering of all the lead, stories and
as news stories, arrive the lead stories end up moving

down the page to where you can still find them
for at least a day or. Two they experienced this
this morning When i'm going through, prep AND i have
to be aware of that BECAUSE i don't want to
grab redundant. Stories and typically it's easy BECAUSE i, go, oh,
