Speaker 1 (00:01):
Time now for Fantasy Football Weekly from iHeartRadio, your weekly
source for the nation's best fantasy speculation and advice.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
Now here's your host, Paul Chargian.

Speaker 1 (00:17):
Hello and welcome to a week six edition of Fantasy
Football Weekly. I am Paul charge and my co hosts
today are Thorne eiserm and Matt Harrison. Hey, guys, great, Yeah,
it's been a little long. I like the ahwaii. That's
a callback to Christian Peterson.

Speaker 3 (00:33):
Yeah, just time.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
Uh yeah, longtime Fantasy Football Weekly co host.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
We still adore Christian Peterson and and hope he's doing okay.

Speaker 1 (00:44):
He just rejected a trade offer, so I guess I
shouldn't be sending a lot of love.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
I send him a very fair trade offer in our
Empire League.

Speaker 4 (00:50):
He said, no, it's a.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
Little bit than me one. So I'm now but hurt
about this.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
Yeah, as you should be. Uh, it's it's a London game.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Do you think we might hear from Colin mccockney today.

Speaker 5 (01:04):
We didn't hear from him last week. I have a
feeling it might have been arrested. Maybe outside of the game.
That is a possibility.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
There was rumors we had heard that Colin McCartney arrested
outside of the Ireland no the London game last week.

Speaker 5 (01:18):
Right, maybe he'll uses one phone call to call us
from prison.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
That would be awesome. That would be awesome.

Speaker 1 (01:24):
I didn't know that the British legal system only allowed
to one phone call, but that's perfect. We'll see if
we can get in touch with Colin mccockney later in
this show. Also, later in the show, we'll give you
nine players upon whom you can take a chance. We'll
answer three tough questions and we'll give you some premature speculation.
It's been super helpful this year, and thor I've got
a guy coming up that I think you're going to

(01:47):
like love that to be able to Yeah, we'll talk
more about that when we get there. First, let's start
diving into some matchups, including the Arizona Cardinals taking on
the Indianapolis Colts.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
The Cardinals with an epic historic last.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
Week, destroying survivor leagues all over the place. And now
we're not even sure that Kyler Murray is gonna play
in this game.

Speaker 5 (02:10):
Matt, Yeah, he did not practice on Thursday with a
foot injury. Limited on Friday is a game time decision
and if he doesn't go. It's Jacoby Brissett in a
revenge game.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
Ooh, they're all revenge games for Jacoby Brissett.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
That's most of the league. Yeah, that's pretty much correct.

Speaker 5 (02:26):
The Colts did hold to cam Ward and Gino to
pretty bad fantasy games, and they gave up good games
to bo Nix and Matthew Stafford. So which group of
these players is a one footed Kyler Murray in? I
think a two footed Kyler Murray's in that bad group.
Two hund twenty yards is a high water mark for

(02:48):
passing this year, and he's only thrown six touchdown passes
in five games. If it's Kyler, I leave him on
the bench. If it's Brisset, I leave him on the bench.
So it's easy enough there. Marvin Harrison looks like a
better opponent grade than he actually does against the Colts.
The Colts have allowed the third most receptions and fourth
most yards to wide receivers, but it was an addition

(03:08):
by subtraction when Xavi and Howard retired after Week four.
He was the big hole in their secondary. And other
than that, Charvarius Ward has been really good and Makai
Blackman has been serviceable. Ward will probably end up in
shadow coverage against Marvin this weekend, and advantage goes to
Ward in that matchup, even the homecoming game where his
pop played. I'm not willing to go higher than a

(03:29):
C grade on Marvin Harrison, Trey McBride and A grade
in this one. The Colts have faced no one at
tight end this year. Chiga Konkwo was the best tight
end they faced. He got five catches for sixty six yards.
Michael Carter saw twenty three touches last week, including five receptions,
and the receiving back job was Amari de Marcado's but

(03:50):
five receptions to Michael Carter, and I don't know if Marcado.

Speaker 3 (03:54):
Is gonna play.

Speaker 5 (03:55):
Colts are pretty good against the run, but it's a
scott Fish patent did volume sea As The Colts allow
twenty two touches and one hundred and seven combo yards
per game. Most of that's going to Carter. On the
other side, Jonathan Taylor obvious a grade. We don't need
to spend any time on him. Daniel Jones is a
solid B grade. The Cardinals have been passed on a
lot this year. They've seen the most pass attempts and

(04:17):
the fourth most passing yards at two hundred and sixty
seven per game. But get this, these are the quarterbacks
they've faced, Spencer Rattler, Bryce Young, Mac Jones, Sam Darnold,
and Cam Ward. The Cardinals pass defense might be really,
really bad, like horrifically bad. Michael Pittman, He's a B

(04:37):
grade in this one. Cards are bottom eight in receptions
and yards allowed to wide receivers. Wide receiver ones against
the Cardinals are averaging a stat line of ten targets,
six catches and ninety six yards against them. And then
Tyler Warren, he gets an A grade. The Cards have
allowed the fourth most receptions and fifth most yards to
tight ends, and the list of tight ends they faced

(04:58):
isn't much better. Jon Johnson, Jatavian Sanders, Jake Tanjas, aj Barner.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
And Chiga kon Quo.

Speaker 3 (05:05):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (05:06):
I think Tyler Warren destroys the Cardinals absolutely A easy
A grade for Tyler Warren, Yeah for sure. All right,
let's go over to the brown Sake and the Steelers store.
What did you think of Dylan Gabriel's initial performance last
week and do you like him any more or less
against the Steelers here.

Speaker 6 (05:27):
It was pretty solid for being on like the pup
putt mini golf course.

Speaker 4 (05:31):
You know, that was the game plan they had for him.

Speaker 6 (05:33):
It was Dylan, you get the ball out immediately after
getting it and then throw it short.

Speaker 4 (05:38):
And you know, he did fine with that game plan.

Speaker 6 (05:41):
It's something that we have seen work against Brian Flores
at defenses in the past, and he did fine. He
was actually finished that game QB nineteen in Fantasy. Obviously
it's his job going forward after that Joe Flacco trade,
but this week I think he's only startable in super
flex leagues against the Steelers, so I'm gonna give him
a bench for standard leagues. Quinch On Junkins, on the
other hand, is an A and the only other grade

(06:03):
I considered was must start. Well, maybe for one more
week we'll give him the A as opposed to the
must start, but he's moving closer to that status. Quinn
John Jenkins has averaged ninety five point three rushing yards
seventeen point three Fantasy points per game in the last
three weeks, and since Week three when he came back.
He leads the NFL in carries and he's second in
rushing yards. He's going to get the belcow usage going forward.

(06:24):
They're going to give him the ball plenty here a
great for Judkins the pass catchers. It gets obviously more
difficult Jerry Judy. I did give him a C. You know,
Cedric Tillman being sidelined, you know, obviously helps him. But
judy ceiling has been low this season, and I think
it remains low. He's reached double digit fantasy points just
once this season and currently sits wide receiver seventy two

(06:46):
in fantasy points per game. It's tough to trust him overall,
but this is a decent matchup against Pittsburgh's pass defense.
The Steelers have allowed the third most yards per attempt
this season. But obviously it's going to be the paper
cut thing here and then they're to try to force
the Steelers to tackle them in space. But Judy might
be able to break one off. We'll give him a
SE grade. I also give Isjia Bond a C grade.

(07:09):
Isjia Bond the rookie UDFA. He had more targets than
Judy last week, working with the fellow rookie and Dylan Gabriel.
Last two weeks for Isaia Bond forty three point five
receiving yards per game and nearly eighteen percent first red
target share. The Steelers are an aggressive, single high coverage
secondary just like Cleveland is, and the Steelers give up bombs.

(07:30):
The Steelers have allowed the third highest deep completion rate
in the NFL so far this season. Could Ijaa Bond
hit a dinger this weekend? I think that the odds
are at least sufficient to give him a C grade
and not just an automatic bench, so I also give
him a seed.

Speaker 4 (07:44):
I upgraded David and Joku to a BEE this week.

Speaker 6 (07:47):
And Djoku entered that Vikings game last weekend averaging only
six point seven fantasy points per game, no touchdowns. But
then he goes out and catches six balls for sixty
seven yards and a touchdown on eight targets against the
Vikings and again Dylan Gabriel's first start there, the Steelers
have allowed a tight end to score a touchdown two
of their past three games. Steelers have allowed the third
most fantasy points per game to the tight end position.

(08:10):
And I figure I'll just toss this one in out
at the door and Djoku the last time against the
Steelers Week fourteen of last season, seven catches forty two
yards one touchdown on thirteen targets. You know when they
were punting him with targets there. But I'll given Joko
a b. The rookie tight end, Harold Fannin, I'm going
to give him a see here. He had four catches
for thirteen yards only on five targets against the Vikings,

(08:32):
but one of them was a touchdown. That was his
first career touchdown and its salvaged Harold Fannin's day for
his fantasy owners. He has not gotten six targets since
Week one, and he's fallen short at thirty yards receiving
in three straight games. But he's still on the field
a ton seventy two percent snapshare and he does get
the opportunities. So for people that need him, I'm going

(08:53):
to give Harold Fannin a sea. Moving over to the Steelers,
keep Aaron Rodgers on the bench. He scored thirteen or
fewer fans points each of the last three games, and
this is not a great matchup for him obviously. Jalen
Warren coming back, returning to the lineup since Week four
he had the knee injury and then they had a
bye last week Week five, I'm gonna give him a C.
This isn't a great matchup, and we don't know what

(09:15):
the usage distribution will be for the Pittsburgh running backs
in this game. Cleveland has the best run defense in
the league. They've given up the second fewest rushing yards
and fantasy points per game to opposing running backs, and
the Browns have not given up many receptions either to
opposing receiving backs, so that could cut in for both
Warren and Kenneth Gainwell. And again we don't know how
much Gainwell is going to eat into Warren's volume here.

(09:38):
DK Metcalf, I'm gonna give him a B wide receiver
eighteen fantasy points per game. He's averaging about sixty five
receiving yards per game. The Browns pass defense is top
five in single high coverage rate. DK metcalf is really
good against single coverage because of his ability to go
down town and win. His target share end first reach
share have both spiked more than five percent against single

(09:59):
high as a po to double high in his short
time with the Steelers so far, so I think he
could be in line for a good game, and then
John new Smith pap Friarmouth keep them both on the bench.
Those guys have combined for only ten point two Fantasy
points per game. You don't want any part of them.

Speaker 1 (10:15):
That is such a frustrating trade with John news Smith
because you know he's so good when he actually gets
the ball, and now we've watered it down and you
can't do timeshare tight ends very often except on the
other side of your matchup with the Cleveland Browns, one
of the few teams that has actually got two tight
ends who've been producing serviceable numbers very quickly. Thor I'm
looking for a five second answer. If Isaiah Bond had

(10:38):
zero character concerns, what round would he have been selected
in in the draft? Late third to early fourth? All right,
all right, Rams take on the Ravens. Ravens defense has
been among the league's worst. But I'm gonna note that
the Ravens defense getting healthier. Kyle Hamilton, their safety is back.
All three starting quarterbacks might actually play in a game
for the first time in a long time. Roquon's Smith

(11:00):
might play, So there's reasons to think the Ravens might
get better. But it's a grades for everybody on the
Rams in this one. We rarely have an all a distribution,
but this is it go is Devonte Adams. The Ravens
have allowed the most wide receiver touchdowns ten already, including
four last week to Houston, and the Ravens have got those.

(11:23):
This injured secondary again might be coming back healthy er,
but not necessarily so. Pukan Au, Devonte Adams super obvious
as and so Stafford. If we love, If we love
Stafford's opportunities with Puka and Davonte Adams, Ravens allowing the
third most passing yards to quarterbacks and the most passing touchdowns,
Stafford multiple touchdowns in four straight games. And then Kyron

(11:47):
Williams also an A grade. You know he's got He's
gonna be running angry. He effectively he was a key
part to the lost last week in the upset uh
to the forty nine ers. He's had ten days to
stu on that goal line fumble and his inability to
get one yard on the final play of last week's game.
So hopefully he's angry here. It's a great matchup. Baltimore's

(12:10):
allowed running back touchdowns in every game and only the
Titans have allowed more total running back scores. They're also
giving up the fifth most yards, the fifth most yards
before contact and they're dead last in run defense EPA.
Kyron Williams A grade for the Ravens. It's pretty much
the opposite story here. Cooper Rush expected to be at

(12:31):
the helm. Lamar is out this is he was frankly
bad last week Cooper Rush, including zero scores and three picks.

Speaker 2 (12:39):
In the second half of the game alone.

Speaker 1 (12:41):
So I've only got a couple of startuble players here,
beginning with Derrick Henry. Henry has been bad since week one.
We're gonna talk more about it later in the show.
I'm not going to spend a ton of time here.
Ravens are a very good run defense. They rank number
one in running back fantasy points allowed. LA's the only
team that hasn't allowed a rushing touchdown. They rank eighth

(13:03):
in run defense success rate and fourth best in run
stuff win rate. Derrick Henry A rare C grade for
Derrick Henry and the only other startable player on Baltimore
is A Flowers. In Cooper Rush's game last week, he
managed just one long pass to Flowers last week, and

(13:24):
that one pass was fifty six yards. Otherwise, if he
hadn't caught that, Flowers was sitting on a sixteen yard
game from Cooper Rush, and that gives you the kind
of downside that Jay Flowers might have Rams middle of
the pack pass defense. Kendrick Born just ate him alive
last week, so that gives you a little bit of
hope for Jay Flowers here. But again, Cooper Rush at
the helm. Flowers only a C grade in this game.

(13:47):
Mark Andrews, It's been all over the board, but last
week a major downtick in usage that again could be
Cooper Rush.

Speaker 2 (13:55):
We talked about this last week.

Speaker 1 (13:57):
Cooper Rush didn't use Jake Ferguson at all last year,
and Jake Ferguson has turned out to be awesome. We'll
talk about him more later in the show too. For Andrews,
he has failed to top thirty yards in four of
five games, which tells you how touchdown dependent he is.
Last week the Rams did give up a touchdown to
Jake Tongas for a score, but otherwise it only give

(14:18):
it up one score on the season. I think with
Cooper Rush, I'm benching Mark Andrews. All right, let's take
a break when we come back. It's a it's a
bye week. There's tons of injuries. You need somebody to
pick up here.

Speaker 7 (14:32):
Here to help me.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
Nine players upon you, James Mini, the players on the
play fire.

Speaker 4 (14:38):
Find out who they are in the back of the mast.

Speaker 1 (14:56):
You are guaranteed to smile at these nine players. You
can start that you normally would not, but this week,
special circumstances exist for players that you could pick up off.

Speaker 2 (15:06):
The waiver wire.

Speaker 1 (15:07):
In many cases, we begin at the quarterback position, and
Matt Harrison, who is your take a chance on me quarterback?

Speaker 5 (15:13):
I'm gonna use my little soundboard here and put some
crickets on there because I'm thin it's in cam Ward
this week and I don't feel very good about it.
It sounds horrible to me because he's not been very
good at all yet. But we've seen the Titans pass
more in the last few weeks. In the last four
he's had two games where he's had pass totals of

(15:33):
thirty eight and thirty nine attempts per game. And the
Raiders defense is kind of weird bad. They've allowed the
third most receptions and receiving yards to wide receivers and
over sixty two percent awards passes have gone to his
wide receivers this season. He targeted his wide receivers twenty
three times last week, and I think that this is
just a really dumb and insane play by me. But

(15:54):
I do have to do it in a league or so,
so if you you have to start them with me,
if I'm gonna have.

Speaker 1 (15:59):
To start camp Ward in a league or two, All right,
cam Ward thor who is you take a chance on me?

Speaker 3 (16:04):
Quarterback?

Speaker 6 (16:05):
My take a chance on me quarterback is forty nine
Ers quarterback Mac Jones against the Tampa Bay Bucks this week.
Last last week, mac Jones lights up the Rams for
three hundred and forty two yards and two touchdowns, win
thirty three of forty nine. Brock Perty looks like he's
going to be out again.

Speaker 4 (16:19):
He did not practice all week.

Speaker 6 (16:21):
He has not practiced late in the week that toe
injury expected to sideline him again. The forty nine Ers
are three to zero this year with mac Jones. Mac
Jones leads the NFL with an average of three hundred
and one point seven passing yards per game. He also
has at least twenty six point two Fantasy points in
two of his three starts, again all wins. This is
also a decent matchup for mac Jones and the forty

(16:42):
nine Ers. The Bucks have allowed the eighth most fantasy
points to opposing quarterbacks.

Speaker 4 (16:46):
I like Mac Jones this week.

Speaker 1 (16:49):
I'm gonna go with the Bryce Young against Dallas. And
Young's been a disappointment after really being pretty darn good
in the second half of last year. This year it
hasn't come together. He's failed to top two hundred yards
in four or five games. But good opportunity for Young
against Dallas, a team with out a pass rush. They
ranked twenty fifth and pass rush win rate, so Bryce
Young finally gets some time in the pocket. Dallas has

(17:11):
allowed the most passing yards, the second most passing touchdowns.
They've also seen the third most quarterback rushes. And Bryce
Young's got some decent wheels on him and we're always
surprised when Bryce Young ends up running. It's got some mobility.
Bryce Young taking on Dallas. Matt Let's go to the
running back position. Who is your take a chance on
me runner?

Speaker 3 (17:30):
I've got RJ.

Speaker 5 (17:31):
Harvey the Broncos seven and a half point favorites against
the Jets this week, and they won one game this
year in blowout fashion. Denver did that was Week four
against Cincinnati. They won twenty eight to three. In that game,
they leaned on RJ. Harvey a ton and often in
garbage time. He had eighteen touches for ninety eight total

(17:52):
yards in a touchdown. If you're staring down RJ. Harvey's
last week's box score of seven touches and thirty total
yards against the Eagles, that's a completely different situation than
this week. And I believe the Broncos are going to
run it up. Harvey could be sitting on a ton
of touches today.

Speaker 1 (18:07):
Yeah, two weeks ago, Broncos got up big and they
used Harvey a lot. That could be the scenario here
in that one sided game. Or your take a chance
at me runner.

Speaker 6 (18:15):
Is Hassan Haskins of the Chargers going up against the Dolphins.
Omari and Hampton is joining Naje Harris on injured reserve
following Hampton's departure from last Sunday's game. Haskins played the
first seven snaps. Kamani Vadal did take over that game
at the end, and we're gonna talk a little bit
more about Kamani Vidal here in a little bit. But
Hassan Haskins played for Jim Harbaugh at Michigan. He could

(18:38):
get the first crack here. Either way, we are expecting
split work between Haskins and Vandal in a very advantageous situation.
This is a great matchup here that Dolphins have given
up the six most fantasy points to opposing running backs.
So I would get Hassan Haskins in your starting lineup
if you got him.

Speaker 1 (18:55):
I'm gonna go with Kendre Miller as he goes up
against the Patriots and first timing acknowledge the Patriots running
has been shockingly good. They ranked number two and fantasy
points allowed to runners. They just held James Cook and
check last week. And I tried Kendrey Miller in this
segment last week, Thorn Matt, you weren't here for that show.

Speaker 2 (19:12):
We tried him last week.

Speaker 1 (19:13):
Didn't go as we had hoped, but Alvin Kamara GIMPI
with a bad ankle. They might try to keep him
fresh for a possible trade down the road. Miller's utilization
score has increased every week, along with his snaps and
his touches that have increased every week, and Kendry Miller
looks really good. His PFF score seventh highest graded runner

(19:36):
by Pro Football Focus Kendra Miller among players with Kendray
Miller's thirty eight carries. He ranks number one in broken
tackle rate at forty percent. Kendray Miller, I don't know
whatever happened to him, but he's been terrific. It's not
an easy matchup with the Patriots, but we're gonna give
him a try here.

Speaker 2 (19:55):
I'm starting Kendrick Miller a couple of leaves.

Speaker 1 (19:58):
All right, let's go to the receiver position, and matt
who are you giving us?

Speaker 5 (20:03):
I've got a tight end this week, Evan Ingram, who
scored his first touchdown as a Bronco last week. But
the important thing is we've seen his target totals go
from six total in the first two games to six
and seven in the past two weeks. It seems like
he's healthy again. The Jets have allowed the most tight
end touchdowns in the league this year, with five. That
includes two to Jake Ferguson last week and two to

(20:25):
Darren Waller the week before. Evan Ingram to score a touchdown,
I like that one on one of those parlay bets
this week.

Speaker 1 (20:32):
All right, thor you taking chance on me? Receiver is
actually going to be a tight end.

Speaker 6 (20:37):
I like Hunter Long in this one as a replacement
tight end option against the Seahawks here, so Breton Strange
has gone on the ir for Jacksonville, which means that
Hunter Long is going to assume the starting duties at
that position for the Jaguars. Last week, in the second
half of the game with Brenton Strange on the sideline,
Hunter Long had seventy point six percent routes here almost

(21:00):
nine percent target share. This is a great matchup for
streaming here against the Seahawks. Seattle has given up the
most scheduled adjusted fantasy points per game to the tight
end position in the entire NFL.

Speaker 4 (21:13):
I like Hunter Long.

Speaker 6 (21:14):
If you need a tight end this week to start,
pick up Hunter Long off the free agent wire.

Speaker 4 (21:18):
Stick them right into your starting lineup.

Speaker 1 (21:21):
Hunter Long available in every single league, everyone, cross across
the country.

Speaker 4 (21:26):
Everyone all right.

Speaker 1 (21:27):
Our final take a chance to be player is Juju
Smith Schuster against Detroit. The Lions secondary all kinds of
beat up. The starting cornerbacks Terry and Arnold DJ Reader
out both safeties questionable. Juju lines up all over the field,
but he also lines up in the slot sometimes, and
there he's going to face Eagles cast off slot corner
of Vonte maddox In limited action, Avonte Maddox is allowed

(21:51):
a one hundred catch right. And last week the Bengals
slot receiver Andre Josebash hosted five catches for eighty two
yards against Detroit. We're gonna give him a try here
with a C grade and an opportunity for Jujus a shoestrip.

Speaker 2 (22:04):
You're looking for.

Speaker 1 (22:05):
Wide receiver help. All right, let's get back to our matchups.
And that brings us to the Chargers taking on the Dolphins.
Store you just told us about Hassan Haskins, gave us
a preview.

Speaker 2 (22:16):
You also like Kamani Vidal. I believe in this game.

Speaker 6 (22:19):
Yeah, we're gonna be talking about Kamani Vidal a lot
more in prospect, so I'll leave some of my comments
for that. But I'm gonna have him startable and with
a C grade. Very advantageous match up here, and Kamani
Vidal is a guy that's gonna for sure get all
the passing down work.

Speaker 4 (22:35):
Kamani Vidal coming out in the.

Speaker 6 (22:37):
Draft, I thought he was the best pass blocking back
in that class. And he's also a better receiver than
Hassan Haskins. So well, I do think we're gonna get
the even distribution here. I like Vodal to get all
the passing down work, and I think he can. He
can jump into Haskins's running stuff as well.

Speaker 4 (22:53):
So more on on Vidal a little bit later.

Speaker 6 (22:56):
Justin Herbert's obviously a must start, and he can be
carrying a bigger load without Omari and Hampton in this game.
Going to his receiver is always sort of hard this
season to parts that the Chargers pass catching corps.

Speaker 4 (23:07):
I'll start with.

Speaker 6 (23:08):
The guy that's been the toughest in Ladd McConkie. I'm
gonna give him a B grade. He's coming off the
best game of his season, had almost fifteen PPR points,
and he scored his first touchdown in that game. He also,
funny enough, had another touchdown wiped off the board on
a roughing the kicker punt return touchdown. So for whatever
it's worth McConkie, He of course still has to compete
for touches with Quinton Johnson and Keenan Allen. But the Dolphins,

(23:31):
as you guys know, are amongst the worst defenses in
the NFL, and they have an abysmal secondary. So I'm
gonna give Ladd McConkie a B in a game where
I think the Chargers are going to keep the ball
in the air quite a bit. Quinton Johnston, I'm gonna
give him a B as well. He had a quiet
game against the Commanders with only four targets. He's still
wide receiver nine in fantasy points per game. The Dolphins

(23:51):
play the sixth highest too high rate in the NFL,
and that's something that is slightly concerning for me with
Quinton Johnson in this matchup, because he is not as
good against two I safeties taking away the explosive plays. Miami, though,
even though they played the two I safeties, I do
have to say their pass defense has allowed to deepen
the highest deep ball completion rate in the entire NFL anyway,

(24:13):
so it's sort of a weird matchup. And of course
QJ leads the team in deep targets, so I'm gonna
give him a bee. I also settled on a BEE
for Keenan Allen, and I think this matchup is better
for Keenan Allen, currently wide receiver fifteen fantasy points per game.
Allen has been the Chargers his best wide receiver against
two I coverage looks because he kills people in the

(24:34):
intermediate sector, so I think you're gonna see that here
against the Dolphins.

Speaker 4 (24:38):
More of the paper cut thing coming.

Speaker 6 (24:40):
From Keenan Allen moving over to the Dolphins to I
gave him a greatest see. He had the best game
of a season last week against Carolina with twenty eight
points seven Fantasy points. Obviously, despite being without Tyreek Kill,
this is a tougher matchup here though for Tua. The
Charges have allowed the seventh fewest fantasy points to opposing quarterback.

(25:00):
Devona Chain is an obvious must start. As long as
he's getting targets in the passing game, the floor remains
very high for him. Jalen Wattle is a must start
as well. Last week, without Tyreek Hill in the lineup,
nine targets for Wattle twenty six percent target share, had
a season high twenty three fantasy points.

Speaker 4 (25:17):
And then lastly, Darren Waller.

Speaker 6 (25:19):
I went back and forth between a B and a
C here I ended up settling on See, even though
I really like what we've seen from him so far.
He had five catches for seventy eight yards and a
touchdown on five targets in his last game, one week
after his debut this season, where of course, he had
the two touchdown catches in two touchdowns on three catches.
First game back in Week four, he had he played

(25:41):
twenty five percent of the snaps. Encouragingly, last week Week five,
sixty percent of the snaps played for Darren Waller. He's
averaged eighteen point three fantasy points per game with those
three touchdowns over two games, and the Chargers defense in
this one not quite as good of a matchup, but
the volume has been there. The Chargers defense has allowed
the fifth fewest fantasy point to opposing tight ends this year.

Speaker 1 (26:02):
I'm not sure you gave us a letter grade for
a Chan and Waddle just hit him with letter grades
on those just to be sure. A for both those guys,
a's for both of them. You know, this is a
big chance for Jayalen Waddle to redefine his career with
Hill out and prove that he can be a number
one wide receiver, something that you know he's been playing
in the long shadow cast by Tyreek Hill hasn't really

(26:25):
booked the role.

Speaker 2 (26:26):
But this is an all new opportunity for Jalen Wattle.

Speaker 1 (26:29):
When we come back, the Cowboys taking on the Panthers
Cowboys offense in the passing Gaven has been sizzling, but
the Panthers are a sneaky good pass defense. Find out
who you can trust when we come back. Welcome back

(27:02):
Fantasy Football Weekly. I I don't can't say I'm talking
to Robbie Rosenhaus are our producer and engineer.

Speaker 2 (27:09):
I can't say I know this song.

Speaker 1 (27:11):
It could be British and origin, and that could suggest.

Speaker 2 (27:16):
Colin mc cockney he's back. Colin, Are you in fact
in jail?

Speaker 1 (27:20):
There were rumors that you were calling from a London
a London police nation.

Speaker 7 (27:26):
II coating bad Allen Blarnie.

Speaker 5 (27:29):
I'm a freemason, h and coke, bees and honey, cheese
and kisses.

Speaker 2 (27:36):
Hallo Govnor Hello, Colin. Take Cockney on backstreets.

Speaker 5 (27:42):
Back all right, Charchy boy, gotta bag a few apples and.

Speaker 3 (27:46):
Pears with them. Strike us to.

Speaker 5 (27:48):
Get y'all started for Fantasy Footie. The Flying Metal Birds
be rock so solid with the weird old Horses as
the battle cattle in Old York this week.

Speaker 4 (27:59):
I think I can do some translating here.

Speaker 6 (28:00):
Cheargy please you need a yeah, con said hellow, And
he's about to do the matchup between the Jets and
Broncos and Old York on Sunday.

Speaker 4 (28:07):
I think everyone probably knew that.

Speaker 5 (28:09):
Oh yeah, go Thundy thor he's a gypsy's kissed low
sticks and orange Chisco clever mic with a pair of
Jimmy choosers.

Speaker 4 (28:21):
Yeah, he obviously just said.

Speaker 6 (28:22):
Bonex gets a B grade here with Nix's volume all
over the place this season, but he has thrown a
touchdown pass in every game and the Jets are a
break but don't ben pass defense. They've allowed eleven passing scores,
fifth most in the league, but have no interceptions on
the season. They've randomly held opponents to an eleventh best
two hundred fourteen passing yards per game.

Speaker 5 (28:41):
Apples and Pears, Alfredo and Marinera. Mutton chops on a
pig and they looked like a base and a gravy
smurfs and flying lions like a dumpster diver.

Speaker 6 (28:52):
He said that Corland and Sutton gets a B grade
and it's not an A only because of Sas Gardner.
According to Colin, Sutton has topped eight yards in three
straight games in a scored in three of five games
this season, but SAS's all opponent's only ten catches this
season on twenty targets allowed two touchdowns in coverage twenty percent.
That means Sutton needs five receptions to find a touchdown here.

(29:14):
But we're leaving Troy Franklin and the rest of the
receivers on the bench.

Speaker 5 (29:18):
Ah Chance, a fancy and my Nancy cause, Ralph John,
Dana Carvey and easy. He says, one, two, three, Greasie
fleece and a Mickey Mouse.

Speaker 3 (29:28):
In your blouse.

Speaker 4 (29:29):
Did he just say, did you say, Dana?

Speaker 2 (29:32):
I think Carvey got worked into that.

Speaker 4 (29:34):
But I'm pretty sure.

Speaker 6 (29:36):
I'm pretty sure that what he's saying was Evan Ingram
was Matt's take a chance on me tight end, and R. J.
Harvey was Matt's take a chance on me runner. So
Colin doesn't really have to talk endlessly about those two.

Speaker 5 (29:46):
Oh, Dobby the house, Delf on the shelf, and a
Jammy Dodger ready for a pint oggy underwearing a proper
belting for him.

Speaker 4 (29:55):
He did mention in there that JK.

Speaker 6 (29:57):
Dobbins is an eight great starter who is averaging sixteen
touches per game. There have been four running backs who
have had at least sixteen touches this.

Speaker 4 (30:05):
Year against the Jets.

Speaker 6 (30:06):
They have an average stat line of one hundred and
nineteen total yards and one point twenty five touchdowns per game.

Speaker 5 (30:13):
All y'all give the ball to Paul all fall tough
to jim Tart on those nobbies because Jimmy the lemon
merchant is selling pairs.

Speaker 6 (30:22):
Yeah he obviously there said that Breeze Hall gets a
B grade. With Braylen Allen injured, Hall has average nineteen
touches and one hundred and twenty eight combo yards per game.
Still hasn't scored a touchdown this year, but volume is
good and the Broncos allow four point six yards per
carry and have also given up the six most receiving
yards to opposing running backs.

Speaker 4 (30:40):
So Colin believes that Breeze Hall is a pretty safe
B grade.

Speaker 5 (30:43):
Yeah, trust in your submarine Capa and Maccopp and Oily
Rag on Sheffield Wednesday. But blimey no otter brothers ken
de I when that girl walks in win on anybody waste.

Speaker 6 (30:55):
Yeah he's talking about justin fields of course, averaging fifty
one yards per game on the ground this year, but
the Broncos have allowed rushing yardage totals to opposing quarterbacks
of respectively zero yards, two yards, six yards, four yards,
and three yards, and they did have to face Daniel
Jones and Jalen Hurts in two of those games. Fields
threw for two hundred and eighty three yards last week

(31:16):
against Dallas, and the Broncos have allowed three different quarterbacks
at top two hundred and eighty yards this year.

Speaker 4 (31:21):
Colin believes that Justin Fields will.

Speaker 6 (31:23):
Do enough in the passing game is scandalous take by
Colin mccagney.

Speaker 4 (31:27):
He'll do enough in the pass game and with some offscript.

Speaker 6 (31:29):
Running to maintain at least a C grade against the Broncos.

Speaker 5 (31:33):
Y Thundy Thaw, get out your dustbin lids and grab
a lump of ice. There's a fisherman's daughter for an
old volleyball in the bathtub. Indiana pacing his racing, but
not enough for Paddy poop poo on a monkey's back
with bells on.

Speaker 6 (31:48):
He said that Fields has two targets, Garrett Wilson, who
is third in the NFL and targets for wide receivers,
and the rookie tight end Mason Taylor, who is tenth
in targets amongst tight Ends. Patrick Certan is set to
shadow Garrett Wilson in this one. Certan did give up
seven catchers on nine targets in coverage against Michael Pittman
and the Colts earlier this year. The volume shoot keep

(32:09):
Wilson out of seed this week, but it's.

Speaker 4 (32:11):
Up to fining yards against Sertan obviously.

Speaker 6 (32:13):
Then the other thing Colin was talking about, of course,
was about Mason Taylor, who has seen nineteen targets the
last two weeks. Tight Ends who have seen at least
seven targets and games against the Broncos have averaged four
catches in forty eight yards so far. That's probably not
good enough for his starting grade. So Colin is advising
people to keep Mason Taylor on the Bengers.

Speaker 5 (32:31):
Leak the Revolutionary DRUMA boy smashing good time Charchie pretty
pony is in a Scottish misted, funky Parliament and a
roast dig eating pigs rubbing up down.

Speaker 1 (32:45):
Thank you, calling mccockney checking in from London with an
excellent breakdown of the Broncos taking.

Speaker 4 (32:50):
On the Jets.

Speaker 1 (32:51):
And you know, only given the one phone call from
jail still drunk from last week, I believe Colin mccockney
knocking it out.

Speaker 2 (32:58):
Of the park.

Speaker 4 (32:58):
That was cool with this one call.

Speaker 1 (33:01):
I know it's an honor, real that's dedication to this show.
Robbie might be his lawyer.

Speaker 2 (33:09):
Maybe that's it. Maybe that's it.

Speaker 1 (33:11):
It's the kind of dedication we could only hope for
it from Matt Harrison, I can tell you that much. Yeah,
Cowboys taking on the Panthers. I've got a grades for
Javonte Williams and Jake Ferguson, b grades for George Pickens
and Dak Prescott. See a conditional C grade on Ryan Flournoy,
in a bench grade on Jalen Tolder. Let's talk it
through for Javonte Williams. An amazing bounce back season happening

(33:33):
right now. Personal highs and yards per carry, yards after contact,
breakaway rate, and the way you beat the Panthers is
on the ground. They're giving up almost five yards per carry.
Alltho a little better. Lately, every opposing number one runner
against Carolina has either scored a touchdown or top to
one hundred and ten combo yards. And the only time
that Williams hasn't seen at least fifteen carries was in

(33:54):
a blowout lost Chicago, and it seems unlikely that the
Panthers are going to have a huge lead, So Javonte
Williams in a grade.

Speaker 2 (34:02):
Let's talk about George Pickens.

Speaker 1 (34:03):
He has scored in every game without Ceedee Lamb, but
this is a deceptively tough matchup against two excellent young
cornerbacks Mike Jackson and j. C.

Speaker 2 (34:12):
Horn Combined.

Speaker 1 (34:14):
They're giving up barely a fifty percent catch rate and
just one score all year. Plus they're both bigger cornerbacks
six foot one over two hundred pounds, so Pickens can't
automatically win the contested catches he normally does. The Panthers
allowing the third fewest Fantasy points and the fourth fewest
receptions to receivers. Just to b grade on George Pickens,

(34:37):
Jalen Tolbert last week held catchless and a tougher matchup
this week against the two cornerbacks they just mentioned, Mike
Jackson and j. C. Horn, so he's nothing more than
a dart throw at best. I can't give him more
than a bench grade in this game. Then, working from
the slot last week out of nowhere, Ryan Flournoy, and

(34:59):
it's possible he could do a little something here if
two things happen again. If Cavante Turpin misses this game
and that's expected, and if Carolina slot cornerback Chole smith
Wade is a game, he's a game time decision right now.

Speaker 2 (35:13):
If he doesn't go as well, then okay, maybe Ryan.

Speaker 1 (35:16):
Florino, who piled up one hundred and fourteen yards last week,
could be startable with a C grade. If Turpin doesn't
go and Carolina is short, their slot cornerback Jake Ferguson
is the most targeted tight end by ten targets, nobody
else close. He's scored three touchdowns in the last two games.

(35:37):
He's turned into a weekly no brainer starter, and the
Panthers have allowed the most tight end yards of the
most fantasy points per game. Easy A grade for Jake Ferguson,
and that leaves us with Dak Prescott on the Dallas side.
He's played really well seventy one percent completion rate, He's
second in passing yards. He's thrown ten touchdowns in his

(35:57):
last four games, and his this bad defense is actually
helping because Prescott has thrown the most passes per game,
almost forty per game. And as I keep mentioning Panther's
sneaky good pass defense, but they yielded three passing touchdowns
last week when Tua through thirty six times, So perhaps
through sheer volume, Prescott's going to be fine here and

(36:19):
he comes in with a B grade, Let's go over
to the Carolina side. I've got B grades for Bryce Young,
who I already gave you a it was might take
a chance at me quarterback, and then a B grade
on the Dowdler, and then a C grade for Titavian Sanders,
and bench trades for everybody else. So Ricos suave the
Dowbdlers we like to call him now Tubahaber ruled out.

(36:41):
Rico went berserk last week out of nowhere with two
hundred and six yards, posting his best game ever by
orders of magnitude. Miami was the opponent last week, and
somehow he's drawing an even easier opponent this week, Dallas.
Four out of five opposing backfields have had gigantic days
again Dallas, including last week, where he's hall one hundred

(37:02):
and fifty five total yards. Cowboys rank dead last in
run defense success rate. I don't believe Rico Dowdell is
particularly good, but it probably doesn't matter because he's gonna
get a lot of carries and Dallas is a bad defense.

Speaker 2 (37:15):
And I give you ap grade on ric O'Donnell.

Speaker 1 (37:17):
I do not expect another two hundred and six yard
game for the dowdler. Let's go to the passing game.
I told you Bryce Young was might take a chance
on me. Quarterback Ted McMillan comes in with an A grade.
No scores yet this year. I think that changes this week.
We're gonna call our first touchdown for Teed McMillan. He's
had eight or more targets in every game. The Cowboys

(37:39):
secondary is healthy, they're stabilizing, they're playing a little better
of late. But it's still a great opportunity for Teed McMillan.
The Cowboys have allowed the most wide receiver scores ten already,
they've allowed the most wide receiver yards one hundred and
eighty nine per game, and they've allowed the most completions
over twenty yards. So it's all lined up for a

(38:00):
big Tech McMillan game.

Speaker 2 (38:01):
Here. As for the.

Speaker 1 (38:03):
Rest of the recent wide receivers for Carolina, Jalen Cocher
four may come back, and I know you're optimistic about
what he could do here. Ou unite Coke ads unite he.
It's the concern here, and he's a game time decision.
You're probably going to wait on this. The concern here
is that when he comes back, you've got him, Xavier Lygette,
and Hunter Renfro.

Speaker 2 (38:23):
They can all run from the slot.

Speaker 1 (38:25):
They can all end up being a three man cluster
boink for the number two role. So I don't love
any of them here because I worry they're going to
cannibalize each other. And they have a tricky matchup against
Deron Blant cornerback for the Cowboys. Who's their best cornerback?
Last week, Renfro and Laget cannibalized each other. Yeah, Jalen
cocher into that now in time, Coker's gonna end up

(38:46):
being the best out of these receivers by a margin.
But I don't know that it all comes together here
in his first game back off his IR stint. So
I've got a bench grade on all of them. Jatavian
Sanders is the tight end. He's a game time decision
with an ankle injury. With a bunch of tight end
injuries this year, Sanders is a viable low floor play

(39:06):
against the Dallas defense. Ha's lot five different tight ends
the top thirty one yards, So people are getting a
little something done here. If Sanders doesn't go and you're desperate,
you could try Tommy Tremble, but that did not work
out last week, and I don't.

Speaker 2 (39:18):
Know that it would necessarily work out here.

Speaker 1 (39:20):
All right, let's go to let's see Thor. You are
next up with Seattle taking on the Jacksonville Jaguars. For Seattle,
this has been a Sam Donald an outstanding season for
Sam Donald. What do you think of the passing game
here against a Jaguars secondary that can be good?

Speaker 6 (39:38):
Yeah, this is gonna be a tougher matchup here for
Sam Donald, who completed twenty eight to thirty four of
his passes last week for three hund and forty one yards,
four touchdowns in an interception. That was good for twenty
seven point six fantasy points, which finished from QB three
for the week. But that was his first top eight
fantasy outing of the season, Sam Donald. Keep in mind,
this is still a run first offense here. Sam Donald

(40:00):
the NFL twenty first in pass attempts right now, and
he doesn't give you anything with his legs against a
tougher defense here, I'm gonna give Sam Darnold a seed
grade for this game. I'm also giving both of his
running backs seed grades. Kenneth Walker. Starting with him last
two weeks, Kenneth Walker RB thirty four in Fantasy points
per game, despite in those games averaging fifteen point five

(40:21):
touches per game. Obviously, he has not been getting into
the end zone and to that point, only four red
zone rushing attempts this season for Kenneth Walker against Zach
Charboney seven, Walker number three in explosive run rate in
the NFL. However, he's also number ten and miss tackles
for US per attempt. But this is not a great
matchup against a very solid Jaguars defense, so I'm giving

(40:42):
him a seed split. In the baby given Charboney a
C two. Charbonney has been the RB twenty nine and
Fantasy points per game. He's averaging twelve touches and forty
six total yards per game. He's probably gonna need a
touchdown to return value in this game. But again, very
tough defense, very tough matchup against a very solid Jacksonville defense.
Jackson Smith and Jigbaw weekly must start. Obviously a top

(41:05):
five fantasy receiver, Cooper Cup. I'm gonna give him a C.
He's wide receiver fifty three in fantasy points per game.
He has only he has got two top thirty six
weekly finishes this year and none in the top twenty.

Speaker 4 (41:18):
This is a weird matchup for him.

Speaker 6 (41:19):
He faces a Jacksonville pass defense that is that runs
the tenth highest too high rate in the NFL, but
the Jaguars allowed the second fewest PPR points per target
to opposing wide receivers. Cooper Cup is better against the
too high because of his work in the intermediate So
but you know, I end up factoring all those things in.
I gave him a CE. I'm not starting Tory Horton

(41:40):
this week. This is not the matchup to start him.
Will I will give a J. Barner a se Ajent
Barner opening eyes, you know, I mean at Michigan he
was a third offensive tackle. AJ Barner was just a
tremendous blocker. But he's been doing stuff as a receiver
this year. In fact, tight end fifteen in fantasy points
per game with five reds own targets and four touchdowns.

(42:02):
He already has three tight end one finishes in Fantasy
so far this year, including a tight end one finish,
Jacksonville has allowed the twelfth most receiving yards to opposing
tight ends. I'm still kind of trepidacious about Barnard. It's
like a block first tight end in a run first offense.
But he never leaves the field because of how good
he is as a blocker, and he doesn't drop balls,

(42:22):
so that's sort of.

Speaker 4 (42:23):
What you get from.

Speaker 6 (42:24):
He's shown to be a red zone threat this year
so far. And moving over to the Jaguars, I give
Trevor Lawrence a be he went off last week.

Speaker 1 (42:31):
And yeah, or let's just let's hold Jacksonville for next
segment because we're gonna running short a little bit on
time right here.

Speaker 2 (42:39):
We'll pick up.

Speaker 1 (42:39):

(43:18):
with Thorn Eistrom and Matt Harrison. I'm Paul Chargion. Thanks
for listening, everybody, doc to you in moment, Welcome back

(43:59):
Fantasy football. We our number two, Thank you for listening, everybody.
Matt Harrison, Thorn Eistrom with you. We encourage you to
follow us on X. Matt is at explosive output, Thor
is at thor Hey you.

Speaker 2 (44:14):
Rock chalk baby.

Speaker 1 (44:15):
This is a game we call three tough questions, and
we begin here.

Speaker 7 (44:19):
Tough Question number one.

Speaker 1 (44:21):
Is Baltimore running back Derek Henry cooked or is he
just medium?

Speaker 2 (44:26):
Well? We begin with Matt Harrison.

Speaker 5 (44:30):
I've got medium well here. He has had sixty four
rushing attempts this year and he's only had four missed
tackles forced. And that's not a good thing for Derrick
Henry to do. But he's still getting five yards per
attempt five point zero yards per carry, So there's so
many injuries on Baltimore right now, it seems like it's

(44:52):
just the season from hell from them. So I think
Derrick Henry's gonna be fine. You have a good chance
of buying low right now. I think he's just medium
well all right?

Speaker 2 (45:01):
Thor is Derrick Henry cooked or just medium well.

Speaker 6 (45:05):
I'm also gonna go with medium well on this one.
And Matt went into some of the stuff about the
poor season, so I won't get into all that. I
will say though, Derrick Henry on a team with Cooper
Rush playing quarterback, is still averaging five yards per carry,
so it's tough to judge him.

Speaker 4 (45:21):
Without Lamar Jackson.

Speaker 6 (45:22):
When the offense gets better, the production than Henry has
is going to lead right back into fantasy production. This
is a tough matchup though, coming up here against the Rams.
They're allowing the second fewest fantasy points to opposing running backs.
The idea that Matt had about buying low, I like
it and maybe save that one for next week because
it doesn't set up to be the greatest game for
Derek Henry in this one either.

Speaker 2 (45:42):
Derek Henry's cooked.

Speaker 3 (45:44):
Now.

Speaker 1 (45:44):
It's not to say that Derek Henry will have no
fantasy value because through sheer volume, Derrick Henry is still
going to have some good games left, and he had
that good Week one. But let's talk about what's happened
to Derrick Henry since Week one. Get these stats, because
it's nuts. Since Week one, Henry second to last in

(46:04):
yards per carry among starting running backs at three point
two yards per carry. He is dead last in yards
after contact. Derrick Henry is dead last in yards after
contact since the opener. He's last in avoided tackle rate.
Matt I think mentioned that he has had I think
four or five broken tackles. He has had one broken

(46:27):
tackle since that opening game one in four games. Nobody
else has less than seven. No other starting running back
is less than seven over that time frame. He hasn't
top fifty yards. Derrick Henry is cooked. It is not
necessarily again mean that he's never going to score another
fantasy point and that he won't be fantasy viable.

Speaker 2 (46:46):
But the days of the old Derrick Henry are over.

Speaker 1 (46:51):
I hate pounding nails and doing great players coffin, but
I think I'm right on this one.

Speaker 2 (46:55):
The data suggests it. All right, Let's go to question
number two.

Speaker 7 (46:58):
Tough question number two.

Speaker 1 (47:00):
Detroit wide receiver Jamison Williams. Are you buying low?

Speaker 2 (47:05):
Are you? Or are you just glad you don't have them?
Or what do you think?

Speaker 6 (47:10):
I'm just glad that I don't have them. You know,
this was a guy I was a little bit lower
on in the summer coming into the season, and we've
seen some of those concerns come to the four. So far,
he's averaging seven point nine Fantasy points per game. It's
about half of what he did last year, failed the
top fifty yards receiving in four of his five games played,
but he still plays for the awesome offense. The Lion's

(47:32):
averaging the league best almost thirty five points per game.
Williams at this point he's a boom er bus guy,
and so if you bought the ticket, that's the ride
you're on the rest of the season, You're You're gonna
have to guess, right, And I'm happy he's not in.

Speaker 1 (47:43):
My roster, all right, Matt for Jamison Williams, Detroit wide receiver,
Are you buying low?

Speaker 2 (47:48):
Or are you just glad you don't have him?

Speaker 5 (47:51):
Since it's Detroit, I'm gonna put this into car terms
that they can understand, like it when you have two
rolls Royces, a BMW, a Mercedes, and one of those
big crab walking electric hummers already parked in your garage.

Speaker 3 (48:03):
It is nice to have a.

Speaker 5 (48:04):
Corvette too, but you're not always gonna drive it. And
that's Jamison Williams. He's the Corvette. You're just not always
gonna drive him. It's exactly what thor said. He's so
dependent on the long ball, and you don't know when
you're gonna choose the right spots to put him in.

Speaker 3 (48:18):
I'm glad I don't have.

Speaker 1 (48:19):
Him my across the street neighbor as a pickup truck
and a Corvette.

Speaker 2 (48:23):
That's the two for a couple. They never drive the
corvette church.

Speaker 4 (48:28):
To tell people about that. I told you shake out.

Speaker 1 (48:30):
That's right, Thorsch, and you moved in across the street.
I hope you're loving Utah. I hope you're loving it.
I've always been uncomfortable rostering low volume, all or nothing players.
You guys hit all my key talking points here. Five weeks,
one good game, and it's been this way for most
of his career with Jamison Williams. And you can't predict
the one game very easily or at least we can
on this show. The weird part is Williams was trending

(48:54):
better last year, so there was some optimism that that
would continue. It really hasn't worked out that way at all,
and Isaac Teslaw is starting to happen. We're gonna talk
more about Teslaw later in this show. Let's go to
our third and final.

Speaker 7 (49:09):
Question, tough Question number three.

Speaker 1 (49:15):
Dallas tight end Jake Ferguson is the highest scoring tight
end in most scoring systems. Will he finish the season
as a top three tight end? So canny cling to
the top of the tight end productivity charts.

Speaker 2 (49:28):
We begin with Matt Harrison.

Speaker 5 (49:30):
So, Ferguson has forty one receptions this year. Do you
know how many other teams in the NFL have forty
one tight end receptions.

Speaker 2 (49:41):
I'm gonna guess it's like five one.

Speaker 5 (49:44):
There's one other team that's got forty one right end receptions,
and it's Cleveland. He has twice as many receptions as
eight different teams tight end rooms. He has more receiving
yards than twenty other teams tight end groups in the league.
He's going to be a top three tight end to

(50:04):
the rest of the year just on volume. Alone, Dak
Prescott's healthy, Jake Ferguson's healthy, They're both healthy together.

Speaker 3 (50:10):
All systems go all right.

Speaker 1 (50:12):
Thor is Dallas tight end Jake Ferguson going to finish
the season as a top three tight end.

Speaker 4 (50:17):
Yeah, I'll also toss in there.

Speaker 6 (50:19):
Ferguson number one tight end the league this year in
utilization score. Shout out Dwayne McFarland our fabulous colleague and
Fantasy life all Right. Ferguson obviously has been helped out
with Ceedee Lamb not playing. Lamb likely to miss one
more game at least. The arrow is going to point
down for Ferguson when Lamb comes back. As far as
its targets going down, this is a tough one for me.

(50:42):
I'm gonna shade it though too. He does not finish
as a top three tight end Ferguson.

Speaker 1 (50:47):
It's been a perfect storm for Jake Ferguson. The defense
is awful, allowing the most yards per game in the
fourth most points per game, so the game script is
constantly tilted towards Dak Prescott in the passing game, and
as I mentioned early in this show, Dak Prescott leads
the league in pass attempts almost forty per game. Ferguson
has been amazing without ceed Lamb. In the three games

(51:09):
without Ceede Lamb, He's had a thirteen catch game, a
touchdown game, and a two touchdown game. I don't know
that Ceedee Lamb comes back and then Ferguson continues at
this pace, at such a high pace that he suddenly
because that he is able to maintain this top three
tight end level. If this answer, if the question was
top five, I would say yes. I just worry that

(51:32):
Ceedee Lamb is going who's awesome over the middle of
the field, is going to take some of that work away,
and enough of it away from Jake Ferguson, who's never
sniffed anywhere close to this level of productivity. I don't
know that he can cling on to a top three spot,
and we're gonna.

Speaker 2 (51:48):
Start the answers.

Speaker 5 (51:49):
No, Yes, who's gonna take over in the top three
for him? That's the question?

Speaker 2 (51:54):
Well, that and that is that is a fair question.

Speaker 1 (51:56):
Brock Bauers is on ir George Kittle can't get there
anymore because he's already missed a month. That is a
fair question. Maybe we'll save that for next week's three
tough questions is who's gonna bypass Jake Ferguson's that's a
fair call out, Matt, fair call out. Let's go back
to our matchups, Matt, speaking of you, the Patriots taking

(52:18):
on the Saints. Drake May has been a revelation at
quarterback currently, depending on your scoring system, almost any scoring
system top five fantasy quarterback, including a big game last
week with a win in Buffalo.

Speaker 5 (52:30):
Yeah, I'll talk Drake May, but we got to make
sure that Thor does the Jaguars after this because I
need to know how to set my Lineupaguars too, So
Drake May will get an A grade in this one.
We all know the Saints defense bottom half of the league,
but I really like the rushing upside for May.

Speaker 3 (52:46):
Here.

Speaker 5 (52:46):
He's eighth amongst quarterbacks and rush attempts this year, and
the Saints have seen the sixth most rush attempts by
quarterbacks and the seventh most rushing yards. But they're also
giving up over two passing scores per game, so it's
a nice a grade for May. Jefon Diggs, you can
start with a C. I'm gonna leave Kaishon Butte on
the bench though, Diggs coming off back to back one

(53:07):
hundred yard games, But the Saints haven't allowed a ton
of pass yards to wide receivers this year, only one
hundred and twenty eight to the position group per game.
But Diggs does have a history of making the Saints
life miserable, so he is very startable.

Speaker 2 (53:21):
True Minneapolis miracle Heya Hunter.

Speaker 5 (53:25):
Henry gets a B grade in this one. His targets
and receptions fluctuate a lot, but he's had three touchdof
games and the ninth most yards to the tight end position.
Ramandre Stevenson or Traveon Henderson, Which one do you pick?
Last week's snaps were thirty one for Stevenson and thirty
for Henderson. They both saw nine opportunities. Stevenson just did

(53:48):
a little bit more with his He converted two short
touchdown runs. Now, Antonio Gibson was also lost for the
season with a torn acl and he was basically getting
a third of the rush attempts. That probably increased the
touch totals for both. And the Saints are bottom ten
in receptions and receiving touchdowns allowed to running back, So
who's the better pass catcher? It's about the same, so

(54:10):
I'm gonna give them twin C grades, although if I
had to pick one over the other and give like
a plus grade to somebody, I think Stevens.

Speaker 1 (54:17):
There would be no way to do that though there
are no letters. There are no letters.

Speaker 2 (54:21):
Between B and C, so that you can't possibly do that.

Speaker 5 (54:26):
Isn't there like a like a chay or something like
that in the Spanish alphabet?

Speaker 3 (54:31):
I don't know.

Speaker 5 (54:33):
Stevenson seems to be trusted near the stripe again, so
he gets a little bit of an edge there. Kendra
Miller was charged to take a chance on me runner,
So let's talk Alvin Kamara. Rushing attempts of dipped from
twenty one to eighteen to fifteen to eight in the
last four weeks. He hasn't scored a touchdown since Week one.
He does have that ankle injury that's kind of hampering
him a little bit. Are the Saints keeping him under

(54:54):
plastic for a possible trade though Kamara is still involved
as a pass catcher though he's getting close to four
receptions per game, and Kendra Miller really doesn't chip in
in that department.

Speaker 3 (55:04):
So that's why Kamara is still startable to see.

Speaker 5 (55:07):
Because the Pats have allowed the twelfth most receiving yards
to opposing backs the wide receivers. Rashid Shahed a completely
dependent long touchdown play, but the Pats have allowed a
league high twenty one passing plays of over twenty yards.
So I got to give Rashid Shaid a C grade
in this one. And Chris o'lave second in the league

(55:27):
in receiving targets behind only Puka Nakua who's averaging and
Olave is averaging eleven per game. He hasn't done a
lot with it yet, only one touchdown and he hasn't
topped fifty nine yards yet in PPR. He's still a
B grade though, and it gets more intriguing with the
injury to Christian Gonzalez, the stud Pats corner who missed
the first three games of the year with a hamstring

(55:48):
injury and was limited on Thursday with what else a
hamstring injury. So that's trending the wrong way for New England.
So B grade for Olave. Juan Johnson fended off the
return of Foster Moreau and take some hill last week,
was still on the field for eighty five percent of
the snaps. The problem is he had eight or more
targets in each of the first three weeks and the
last two combined, he's only seen seven total targets. The

(56:11):
Pats have allowed the eighth most receptions and the second
most receiving yards to the tight end position. So I
think we can squeeze one more C grade out of
him and see if this ticket can But I'm nervous,
and finally, Spencer Rattler, I'm giving him a weird C grade.
He's kind of a bonus to take a chance on
me quarterback. He's a better start than a lot of
the backups people are forced into using. He's had a

(56:32):
touchdown pass and four straight. The Pats allowed or are
allowing two hundred and fifty five passing yards per game,
and that includes three hundred yard days to Gino Smith
and Tua Tagavioloa. Plus I started all of his receiver
So I gotta give him a seat.

Speaker 1 (56:46):
I think you actually like Spencer Rattler is to take
a chance on me quarterback more than you like your
taking a chance on me quarterback.

Speaker 5 (56:52):
You know, as I wrote that up, I was like, yeah,
I probably should have just gone Rattler for taking a
chance on me. That's a better one. But you know,
if cam Ward hits then I'm a legend.

Speaker 1 (57:03):
That's almost what it would take at this point. All right, Thor,
let's pick up where we left off. You had previously
done Seahawks taking on Jaguars. We got to the Seahawks side,
we ran out of time in the last segment. Let's
come back to Jacksonville as they take on Seattle.

Speaker 6 (57:17):
And we'll start with Sunshine. Trevor Lawrence, Jaguars quarterback. I'm
gonna give him a be. He finishes quarterback five in
Fantasy last week. Of course, that came on the strength
of fifty four rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns. That
was the second highest rushing total of Trevor Lawrence's career,
and he came into that game with only thirty two
rushing yards and no rushing touchdowns. I'm not expecting rushing

(57:39):
value this week. However, the Seahawks do have a middle
of the road pass defense, so when it comes out
in the watch, I gave Trevor Lawrence a BE. I
also gave his running back, Travis Etn Junior a bee.
He's etn RB fourteen and Fantasy points per game, he's
averaging about seventeen touches and about ninety seven total yards
per game.

Speaker 4 (57:57):
This is a tougher matchup for him, though.

Speaker 6 (57:59):
Seattle's run defense allows the third fewest rushing yards per game.

Speaker 4 (58:03):
Brian Thomas Junior.

Speaker 6 (58:04):
I'm gonna give him a bee, obviously, this is one
of the hardest guys to grade each week so far
in twenty twenty five, he did have a season nine
twelve Fantasy points. In the last game, four catches for
eighty yards on six targets against the Chiefs. He still
has not caught a touchdown, though, and that was his
first game over fifty receiving yards.

Speaker 4 (58:20):
This year.

Speaker 6 (58:21):
Thomas has the lowest catch rate of any player with
at least twenty targets the entire NFL.

Speaker 4 (58:25):
However, he also has the sixth highest.

Speaker 6 (58:27):
Uncatchable target rate, so Trevor Lawrence isn't doing him any favors.
Tough matchup here for him this Seahawks have yielded the
lowest passer rating on throws to out wide receivers out
there on the boundary this season. Again, I go back
and forth, but I gave Brian Thomas a b I
actually felt a little bit more comfortable, and people will
probably disagree with me here. I felt more comfortable giving

(58:49):
Travis Hunter a B in this game. Did Jaguars finally
using Travis hunters directly last week? And we shout out
Li and Cohen on this. I was on with the
aforementioned Day McFarlane last week on Fantasy Life talking about
how the Jaguars were misusing Travis Hunter at that point
in the season, using him as a manufactured touch slot guy,
like a Deebo Samuel type usage. When Travis Hunter, the

(59:12):
best thing about his game has always been winning downfield.

Speaker 4 (59:14):
That's what he did at Colorado.

Speaker 6 (59:15):
We finally saw it last week, and of course Travis
Hunter gets unlocked. He's best when he goes downtown. Travis
Hunter was under an eight a dot heading into that
game last week, and then the best game of his
NFL career so far last week fifteen point seven a
dot more or less doubled it.

Speaker 4 (59:31):
So just totally different usage. And you see Travis Hunter.

Speaker 6 (59:36):
They thought that they were going to be drafting, so
I'm bullish on him going forward. And the matchup I
think is a little bit better here than maybe it
appears on paper for Travis Hunter. Devin Witherspoon has got
the knee injury. Reek Wallen's got the concussion, Julian Love
has got the hamstring. So a little bit of a
depreciated Seattle secondary. I like Travis Hunter in this game.
And then lastly Hunter Long the tight end was my

(59:57):
take a chance on me in a spot where he's
taken over in the starting lineup for Brenton Strange when
this is an advantageous matchup against the Seattle defense that
allows tight ends to get loose.

Speaker 2 (01:00:09):
Yeah, that is a deep call under Long and there's
a little something to it.

Speaker 1 (01:00:14):
That's that's how you end up shocking somebody with your
pickup and somebody nobody even knows who he is, and
then end up end up getting a victory or staying live.

Speaker 2 (01:00:22):
In the Guiethian League. Is in the case, maybe when we.

Speaker 1 (01:00:24):
Come back to try taking on the Kansas City Chiefs
the high powered Lions is.

Speaker 2 (01:00:29):
The Chiefs are the Chiefs just a speedbump?

Speaker 1 (01:00:31):
Find out when we come back to Fantasy Football Weekly.

Speaker 2 (01:00:45):
Welcome back Fantasy Football.

Speaker 1 (01:00:47):
Weekly, A big blocko matchups for you, beginning with the
Lions taking on the Chiefs. For the Lions side, the
offense is going great right now and the Chiefs are
not a great matchup the way they used to be.
We'll talk more about this, but Jamiir Gibbs obvious a
grade against a run defense that's a lot worse than
last year's excellent unit.

Speaker 2 (01:01:05):
And I'm on.

Speaker 1 (01:01:06):
Rossain Brown also easy a grade, but I'm just gonna
expand on him, just for a second. He runs from
the slot a lot, and he's gonna go up against
Chamari Connor, who is the chief slot cornerback. He's giving
up a one hundred percent completion rate, He's been targeted
seventeen times, and he's allowed seventeen receptions a grade. Jamison Williams,

(01:01:27):
who talked about earlier in the show. We all are
concerned here, and the Chiefs are an excellent deep ball
coverage team, giving up just twenty eight percent completion rate,
zero touchdowns, and the second best passer rating against on
deep balls. And that's all Jamison Williams brings. I prefer
you don't start him.

Speaker 2 (01:01:46):
I've got a.

Speaker 1 (01:01:47):
Bench grade on Jamison Williams. Sam Laporte is coming off
his best game of the year ninety two yards in
a score, but on the full season, underutilized his prior
three games before last week, we're all duds. The Chiefs
have been great against tight ends. Only one tight end
is top two catches and only one is top thirty yards.

Speaker 2 (01:02:07):
None have scored.

Speaker 1 (01:02:08):
I can barely get you to a C grade on
Sam Laporta in this matchup, and that leaves us with
Jared Goff in the passing game is main receivers have
grades of AC and bench. The Chiefs secondary has been
great over the past four games. They're allowing just one
hundred and seventy passing yards and half of one touchdown.

Speaker 2 (01:02:28):
That's it.

Speaker 1 (01:02:29):
Still, this is the best offense the Chiefs have seen
all year by a margin, and because of the depth
depth of Goff's weaponry, I think he's still startable with
a beat right here, David Montgomery's the last line we
haven't hit on yet. It's a neutral matchup. Chiefs run
defense started poorly, getting better. They were great last year.
They shut down Travis Etn and Dereck Henry in consecutive weeks.

Speaker 2 (01:02:49):
If you throw out an.

Speaker 1 (01:02:50):
Odd ball seventy one yard run by Justice Hill against
the Chiefs, they're giving up a very average four point
one yards per carry on the season. Monty can catch
a little bit and the Chiefs have been dinged by
Tier two running backs like Cam Scattabow and Justice Hill
through the air, so maybe Manty helps you there too,
so he'll give him a C grade.

Speaker 2 (01:03:08):
Over on the.

Speaker 1 (01:03:08):
Chief side, I've got a grades for Xavier Worthy, Patrick
Mahomes B grade on Hollywood Brown, C grade for Juju Smith,
Schuster and Travis Kelce, and the running game as usual.

Speaker 2 (01:03:18):
As on the bench, the Detroit secondary is a wreck.

Speaker 1 (01:03:20):
As I mentioned earlier in the show, both starting corners
are out, Both top backup corners are also out.

Speaker 2 (01:03:26):
Both safeties questionable.

Speaker 1 (01:03:28):
This is a really good matchup for Xavier Worthy, who's
resumed being the alpha receiver for the Chiefs, averaging nine
targets since his return from injury two weeks ago. He
is fourth best in air yards over the last two
weeks as well since he came back, So Xavier Worthy
a grade Hollywood Brown. I was nervous about Hollywood Brown.

(01:03:50):
Like Xavier Worthy come back, then Brown would get ignored,
but that hasn't been the case. His role and his
usage has not changed with Worthy back. He's still enjoying
a really hell The twenty six percent target share and
almost seven targets per game since Worthy came back and
as a matchup, as I mentioned, primo matchup against a
battered secondary be great for Hollywood Brown Juju Smith Schuster

(01:04:14):
was my take a chance on me wide receivers explained
earlier C grade for him, and staying with the passing game,
Travis Kelce coming off his best game of the year,
but his upside remains pretty cap due to his short
a dot He's averaging just five yards per catch and
mostly the Lions have been a very good tight end
defense other than Mark Andrews, nobody has top two catches

(01:04:35):
or twenty nine yards against Detroit.

Speaker 2 (01:04:37):
So just a C grade on Travis.

Speaker 1 (01:04:39):
Kelce and how does that all roll together for Patrick Mahomes, Well,
I love him against this injury ravaged Lion secondary and
a game script that figures to be a frantic shootout
for both teams. I've got ABC and C grades on
his receivers. Mahomes gets an A himself here. Lions have
allowed multiple passing touchdown to every opposing quarterback except Joe

(01:04:59):
Flack Go and for the running backs for the Chiefs
Isaiah Pachecko Kareem Hunt, they're both suffering from low usage
and cannibalizing each other. Detroit is an unlikely opponent to
change their fortunes. They are a top ten run defense
in a variety of key run defense areas like run
defense EPA, run defense success rate, yards per carry, yards

(01:05:20):
after contact. No Runners topped eighty two yards against Detroit
and Kansas City's offensive line. They ranked thirtieth in run
block win rate. So I've got bench grades on both
Isaiah Pachecko and Kareem Hunt. All right, Matt, let's turn
to Tennessee taking on the Raiders.

Speaker 2 (01:05:41):
For Tennessee.

Speaker 1 (01:05:41):
You already told us your take a chance on me
quarterback is cam Ward.

Speaker 2 (01:05:46):
That means there should be a receiver here I can use.

Speaker 5 (01:05:48):
Right, yeah, and I apologize for my cam Ward take
a chance on me.

Speaker 2 (01:05:53):
They're already backpedaling.

Speaker 5 (01:05:54):
Elick Iomanner and Calvin Ridley. I got them both startable.
Ridley caught five of his ten targets last week for
one hundred and thirty one yards, and Io Manner as
both of cam Ward's career TD receptions.

Speaker 3 (01:06:06):
I said both because there's only two.

Speaker 5 (01:06:09):
But this is mostly an indictment of how bad the
Raiders corners are, specifically Kayu Blue Kelly who is a
real person and has already allowed a league high three
hundred and forty six yards in his coverage this season.
Both receivers should switch in and out of Kelly's coverage.
I'll throw a B grade on Ridley and a C
on Io Manor Tony Pollard is the only other Titan

(01:06:33):
you'd consider starting.

Speaker 7 (01:06:34):
Ty J.

Speaker 5 (01:06:34):
Spears, still limited this week with an ankle injury, only
saw four rush attempts in his return from ir last week,
so it's probably at least Pollard's majority backfield for one
more week. The Raiders are pretty neutral against the running
back except for one clear blemish. They've allowed the second
most rushing scores this year with seven through the first
five games, and Pollard has both of the rushing touchdowns

(01:06:56):
for the Titans this year. I said both again, so
he's artable with a C grade. Ashton genty easy A grade.
Titans are bottom five and yards per carry, rush yards allowed,
combo yards allowed to running backs, and they're worst in
the league in touchdowns allowed to opposing backs with nine
over the first five. Geno Smith likely playing for his

(01:07:16):
job this week nine nine times. There's already rumors that
Geno could be benched, and if you lose to the
Titans at home, that might be the last straw. From
a fantasy perspective, He's put up two good games, two
bad games, and one mah game. The Titans are easier
to run against than pass, but are still showing a
middle of the pack two hundred and thirty one passing
yards per game, which is about on par with Geno's

(01:07:39):
MA average. If you have to start them, you do
it with a C grade. Trey Tucker and Jacoby Myers.
Fine to start both of these guys this week. I'll
give Tucker the CE with bigger upside, but Myers gets
a safer C grade. The Titans have allowed the fifth
most yards to opposing wide receivers, and Roger McCreary is
really their only good corner according to Pro Football Focus grades.

(01:08:00):
He'll see Myers most often, but he doesn't shadow, and
Myers is still a pretty decent target hog. He's fifteenth
amongst wide receivers in targets this year. He's ahead of
guys in targets like Ameca Agbuca, Brian Thomas, Drake, London, Portland, Sutton.
He's ahead of all those guys, so C grade for Myers. Finally,
Michael Mayer, I think he's startable. With Brock Bauers out

(01:08:24):
this week, it feels like the Raiders are holding him
out again. Uh so Mayor back in play after missing
last week with a concussion. Last week, albert O and
Ian Thomas combined for nine targets, eight catches, and fifty
six yards in relief of Bowers and Mayor. That's mostly
all got to go the way toward Mayor. Now he's
caught six of his seven targets this year before he

(01:08:46):
was concussed in Week three.

Speaker 3 (01:08:47):
So uh dart throw c grade.

Speaker 1 (01:08:50):
All right, Let's go to the Cincinnati Bengals in the
Green Bay Packers store, U Joe Flacco.

Speaker 2 (01:08:55):
This is not gonna end.

Speaker 1 (01:08:57):
Well, the Bengals have the worst offensive line in football.

Speaker 2 (01:09:00):
Well, Joe Flacco.

Speaker 1 (01:09:01):
The Packers just prepped for him three weeks ago and
crushed him. This thing is I'm nervous about every Bengal
in this matchup.

Speaker 4 (01:09:10):
Yeah, but Joe Flacco is the only quarterback who is
beating the Packers this year. Probably because of Joe Flacco.

Speaker 6 (01:09:15):
We are keeping out the bench, of course, in this
game short week facing the pack even though you already
seen him, and then Jamar Chase's status as well. We'll
keep an eye on that. So keep Joe Flacco on
the bench. Chase Brown the running back there, I'm gonna
give him a see. He had ten and eleven Fantasy
points his last two games. The Bengals offensive line huge,
huge problem. Bengals are averaging zero point three yards before contact.

(01:09:39):
That's the second worst in the NFL, and the Packers
defense has allowed the fourth fewest yards before contact to
any opposing running back. But I'll still just based on volume,
give Chase Brown to see. Jamar Chase, who popped up
on the injury report, he's a must start, of course,
anytime that he ends up playing the guy that you're
trepidacious about, T Higgins, I'm gonna give him a sea.
Averaging thirty one point six receiving yards per game, his

(01:10:01):
forty eight percent catchtraight is the fifth worst.

Speaker 4 (01:10:04):
In the entire NFL.

Speaker 6 (01:10:06):
Joe Flacco should improve things, but we're gonna have to
see by how much. I'm just gonna give Ti Higgins
a see for now. Also given Mike Kasiki to see.
Kasiki caught two of five targets for fifteen yards in
a loss against the Lions Week five. Three receptions are
less in each of the first five games for the Bengals.
For Mike Kaziki, he is startable, though in this game.
If you're desperate and Joe Flacco does like his tight ends,

(01:10:26):
you have to say moving over to the Packers.

Speaker 4 (01:10:28):
Jordan Love give him a grade of A.

Speaker 6 (01:10:31):
Last game three hundred thirty seven yards three touchdowns against
the Cowboys that was good for his season best twenty
six fantasy points. He also has a really good matchup here.
The Bengals have given up nineteen plus fantasy points to
three of the past four quarterbacks that they faced. Josh Jacobs,
the Packers running back, a must start. He's coming off
a buye. Very good match up here against the Bengals.
Romeo Dobbs. I'm gonna give him a B. Week four

(01:10:53):
before the buye against Dallas six catches for fifty eight
yards and three touchdowns on eight targets. Great matchup for
him since he's given up the ninth most fantasy points
to opposing wide receivers. Matthew Golden I considered him for
might take a chance on me. I wanted to go
a little bit deeper cut with with Hunter Long there,
but Matthew Golden, I'm gonna give him a solid sea
here with upside for potentially a little bit more. He's

(01:11:16):
yet to clear a seventeen percent target share in the game,
and he has not yet scored a touchdown. But in
the last game he had career at highs and targets
with six receptions with five yards, with fifty eight and
fantasy points he had a little over eleven. And this
is a great matchup for him as well. So I
think Golden is worth using as a sleeper here, and
then Tucker Craft is the weekly must start when he's

(01:11:37):
in the lineup.

Speaker 1 (01:11:39):
Tucker Craft might be the best Fantasy tight end this year. Yeah,
that's you know, to answer Match's question, Familier, who's gonna
who's gonna get past Jake Ferguson, Tucker Craft is gonna.

Speaker 2 (01:11:49):
Be one of those guys. Yeah, he'd be the guy.

Speaker 1 (01:11:52):
I love him here, And just to be clear, a
grades on Josh Jacobs and Tucker Craft.

Speaker 2 (01:11:56):
Correct, yep, yep, correct.

Speaker 1 (01:11:58):
All right, let's uh yeah, let's take a break. We'll
get a break out of the way a little bit
earlier than normal, and we'll come back with three more matchups,
including the Bears taking on the Commanders. This is an
opportunity potentially for Deebo Samuel's but a nice surprise, and
Jacorey krossky Merritt coming off a breakout week.

Speaker 2 (01:12:15):
We'll talk to you about.

Speaker 1 (01:12:16):
That Commander's offense when we come back the Fantasy Football Weekly.
Final segment of Fantasy Football Weekly lots to get to,
including the Fantasy Football Weekly Time Machine. It's premature speculation
where we give you players you'll want to pick up

(01:12:38):
now that other people will be trying to pick up
next week, but they're already on your team before we
get to that. You can get Fantasy Life's complete premium

(01:13:16):
All right, let's start with our premature speculation players. Matt Harrison,
who is work.

Speaker 5 (01:13:23):
I've got Green Bay Packers running back Emmanuel Wilson, and
I think that this week's game against Cincy gets so
out of hand that he might have the whole fourth
quarter to himself. And by the way, he's looked pretty
decent and mop up duty this year. He had eleven
touches for eighty one combo yards the last time we
saw him play a game against Dallas. And if Green

(01:13:44):
Bay wants to keep Josh Jacobs healthy for the playoff run,
I think they start giving Emmanuel Wilson a lot more
target share here and touch share, So pick him up.

Speaker 1 (01:13:53):
I'm I am totally with you. He passes the eye test.
Manuel Wilson looks good. I think that is a rate call.
If God forbid anything happens to Josh Jacobs, you're sitting
on potentially a top ten fantasy running back.

Speaker 2 (01:14:06):
Thor who's your premature speculation.

Speaker 6 (01:14:10):
Player The aforementioned Kamani Vidal of the Chargers, who were
this week taking on the Dolphins. As I mentioned before,
both the mari and Hampton and Nase Harris on injury reserve,
so that means Haasan Haskins and Kamani Vidal are going
to step into the spotlight here I mentioned before Following
Amari and Hampton's departure on Sunday, Haskins comes in plays

(01:14:31):
seven straight snaps, But after those seven snaps, Kamani Vidal
played twelve of the final thirteen plays of the game.
Vodal needs to be rostered everywhere this week. He was
the first running back that Jim Harbaugh picked after taking
over the Chargers. Vadal four point four to six second
forty yard dash, eighty eight percentile size adjusted athlete. His

(01:14:53):
last year in college, he ranked second in the nation
with ninety two broken tackles. Was arguably the best pass
blocking back in his class. As I mentioned before, I
compared him to Jalen Warren coming out. This is an
awesome matchup for both of those Charger running backs with
the Dolphins haven't given up the six most fantasy points
to opposing running backs. Get Kamani Vedal on your rosters

(01:15:13):
all right, thor.

Speaker 2 (01:15:14):
This one's for you. My premature speculation player is Isaac Tesla.

Speaker 4 (01:15:19):
Let's go.

Speaker 1 (01:15:20):
Earlier in the show, we talked about Jamison Williams seeing
declining routes declining snaps in every game. Guess who's seeing
those snaps. It's Isaac Tesla, including last week's seasons high
fifteen routes. Now fifteen routes is not enough where you're
gonna be starting Tesla. But maybe this is the beginning
of a change for the Lions where Tesla is just

(01:15:41):
too good to keep off the field and he's gonna
pay dividends. Maybe it's week ten, maybe it's week eleven,
maybe it's week twelve.

Speaker 2 (01:15:47):
Isaac Tesla.

Speaker 1 (01:15:48):
If he's going to keep getting more work, it's gonna
come out of Jamison Williams, and I think he's better
thor give me your best ten.

Speaker 2 (01:15:55):
Seconds and only ten seconds in Isaac Tesla.

Speaker 4 (01:15:58):
All he does is catch touchdowns.

Speaker 6 (01:16:00):
It's a size speed athleticism freak with tremendous ball skills.
Go up downtown and get it. And they've been manufacturing
him touches close as well.

Speaker 4 (01:16:07):
Love that call.

Speaker 5 (01:16:08):
Charge all right, we're floating as well. That Khalif Raymond,
who was getting about fifty to sixty percent of touches.
He's out now too.

Speaker 2 (01:16:16):
Yeah, great point, great point. Sorry snaps taking, that's okay.

Speaker 1 (01:16:22):
Still, you can't have the touches without the snap, So
totally bears taking on the commanders, and I want to
start on the Let's start on the commander's side. I
want to start with Jacorey Krossky Merrit. He broke out
last week with double the snaps and double the carries
as any other Washington runner. We were waiting for somebody

(01:16:42):
to emerge. We thought it would be him, we didn't
know for sure. He's looked great and last week he
got the team's only goal line carry. Krossky Merit gets
to face the Bears Monday night. And last time we
saw the Bears before last week's bye, they were giving
up two hundred rushing yards to the Raiders. Last year,
Chicago allowed the most fantasy points to opposing runners. This year,

(01:17:03):
Chicago has improved all the way to the fourth.

Speaker 2 (01:17:07):
Most fantasy points to opposing runners.

Speaker 1 (01:17:09):
It's a great opportunity for Merit and I've got a
B grade on him. Let's go to the passing game.
Deebo Samuel runs from the slot a lot. The Bears
finally have their star slot cornerback Kyler Gordon back from injury.
But what's kind of interesting is since Terry mclaurin's injury
and he's out this week as well, Samuel's getting used
on all parts of the field, and they're using a
more deep down field without McLaurin. Without McLaurin, Deebo's average

(01:17:34):
depth of target has moved from two and a half yards,
which is nothing, to eleven yards. So I love that
they're using Deebo that way. He's sixth and yards after
the catch, where he's always been good. You know, Kyler
Gordon is a good slot receipt slot cornerback, but if
he's rusty at all, Samuel could be sitting on another
big game and a B grade for him. Zach Ertz

(01:17:56):
is the other Washington player you're thinking about. He's coming
off a zero catch game, which was even more baffling
considering there's no other healthy receivers, right, so you thought
Urtz would be super safe.

Speaker 2 (01:18:06):
Didn't work out last week.

Speaker 1 (01:18:08):
He's not injured, but his usage is dwindling for no
reason that I really know of, so that is a
bit of a concern. Bears are a middle of the
pack tight end defense, but other than Jake Ferguson, who
is targeted an observe of fourteen times, nobody has done
much against the Bears. I've got a bench great on
Zach Ertz and this all this weirdness of use right now.
As for Jaden Daniels, for a guy at a knee brace,

(01:18:31):
he ran pretty well last week. It wasn't designed runs,
but he scrambled around. I thought he looked pretty good
on the ground. I'm nervous about Washington's passing offense without
Terry McLaurin, and even if Brown returns from injury, it's
not a huge boost. Even so, with the combination of
modest passing and running, Daniels composed a solid game here.

Speaker 2 (01:18:51):
Be great for Jaden Daniels, all right.

Speaker 1 (01:18:53):
Going over to the Chicago side, DeAndre Swift has been
pretty bad, but he's the only game in town since
Kyle Mnungui hasn't seen any meaningful uptick and workload. Swift
ranks thirty second in yards per carry amongst starting running backs,
thirty second in broken tackle rate, and thirty seventh in
yards after contact. He's only as good as the defense

(01:19:15):
lets him be, and Washington's a really good run defense.
Their top ten and win run stuff win rate, top
ten and run defense EPA yards before contact. It's just
a C grade in a tough matchup for DeAndre Swift.
As for Roma Dunsay touchdowns in every game. He has
dominated the Bear's usage numbers, leading in snaps drowsed, and
he's got an end zone target in every game. I

(01:19:36):
don't know for sure, but I think Roman Dunes is
the only player with an end zone target in every
game this year. Commanders have been a pretty good pass defense,
stept for Trade Tucker.

Speaker 2 (01:19:45):
Going berserk on them.

Speaker 1 (01:19:47):
Number one outside receivers have fared well against Washington, Milik Neighbors,
Trey Tucker, Drake London all standout games.

Speaker 2 (01:19:54):
And that's a Dunesay comes in with Nate Gray.

Speaker 1 (01:19:57):
The guy who's withered with Roman Dunes eight getting all
this extra work is DJ Moore. No more than five
catches in a game, no more than no more than
eighty yards in a game. Non number one receivers haven't
done anything against the Commanders all year.

Speaker 2 (01:20:10):
I can only get you into a C grade on'm
DJ Moore. As for all the.

Speaker 1 (01:20:15):
Other guys like Colson Lovelin, Cole Comet, Luther Burden, Ole,
Media's a chaus.

Speaker 2 (01:20:19):
They all share time, they're all on the bench. Maybe
one of them has a good game, but it is
not possible to know which one out of that group,
it might be. As for Caleb.

Speaker 1 (01:20:28):
Williams, he wrecked the injury depleted Dallas secondary but has
otherwise been inconsistent with some great throws, some not so
good ones. The best time to throw three point two seconds.
That is a promising development for him. I see Caleb
throwing one or two touchdowns here, not getting a lot
of design runs, but he is a good scrambler. And

(01:20:50):
Washington just gave up seventy one yards to Justin Herbert
and Trey Lance last week, so maybe that'll be the
better play here. All right, let's go to our next matchup.
But the San Francisco forty nine ers taking on the
Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Thor ruled out of this game. Ricky
Piersall and uh and Brock Purty. You already told us

(01:21:10):
mac Jones, you're very optimistic.

Speaker 6 (01:21:12):
Yeah, he might take a chance on me quarterback, and
then moving to Christian McCaffrey, he's a must starter churse
with an a here. You mentioned Piersaw is out, so
obviously you're gonna keep him on the bench. Looks like
we're gonna get Juwan Jennings back here, so I'm gonna
give him a c if he indeed does play. He
returned to practice in a limited limited capacity on Thursday. Uh,

(01:21:33):
looks like he has a decent shot to play, like
I said, and it's a good matchup.

Speaker 4 (01:21:36):
If he does. The Bucks will be without.

Speaker 6 (01:21:38):
Their cornerback Zion McCall him and Benjamin Morrison in this game.
Then we move on to the two guys that that
everyone on this panel thought would be the two stars
of the show for the forty nine ers this year,
and Kendrick Bourne and Jake Tongjes exactly. Yes, yeah, just
as just as we called Kendrick Bourne, I give him
a bee. He blew up last week with Ricky Pearsall

(01:21:59):
and Jennings was down in that one. Ten catches for
one hundred and forty two yards on eleven targets for
Kendrick Bourn. Looks like he's going to be the number
one option for Mac Jones again. Tampa Bay has allowed
five receivers to score at least thirteen PPR Fantasy points
this season, so a solid matchup.

Speaker 4 (01:22:14):
And then Tanjas, I'm gonna give him a bee.

Speaker 6 (01:22:16):
George Kittle remains out of the lineup with his hamstring
injury toanj just has touchdowns and back to back games.
Got three red zone targets last week amongst eleven total
targets that tied for the team lead. There good matchup
in this game for Toanjas. Buccaneers defense has allowed twelve
plus fantasy points to Kyle Pitts, Dallas Goddard and the

(01:22:36):
aforementioned AJ Barner so far this year. Moving over to
the Bucks, Baker Mayfield to give him a be quarterback
five and fantasy points per game and he's playing close
to an MVP level. His rushing output has helped him
fantasy so far this year three games at thirty three
plus rushing yards. The forty nine Ers defense from the
passing perspective has allowed the twelve most passing touchdowns, so

(01:22:57):
I give Mayfield to be. I also give Rishaw a bee.
Bucky Irving is out again with his shoulder and foot injuries.
Rashad White last week fourteen carries and four targets against
the Seahawks. He turned them into seventy one scrimmage yards
and two touchdowns. Meanwhile, Sean Tucker got only three targets
and three three carries and three targets on twelve snaps.
The forty nine Ers have allowed three different running backs

(01:23:19):
to score eighteen plus PPR points this year, so this
is a decent mashup for Rashad White, and I give
him a bee.

Speaker 4 (01:23:25):
Chris Godwin and Mike Evans there, they're both going.

Speaker 6 (01:23:28):
To be out, so with a metic buka, he almost
a must start even with them playing, but certainly isn't
with them out a Metaic book one hundred and sixty
three receiving yards, touchdown and a two point conversion last
time out against the Seahawks.

Speaker 4 (01:23:41):
The guy where I think the.

Speaker 6 (01:23:42):
Injury status makes him startable is Sterling Shepard for the Bucks.
Another guy that I considered for might take a chance
on me. I'm gonna give Sterling Shepard a see. He
had the game tying touchdown against Seattle late in the
fourth quarter last week, and his one hundred and ninety
one receiving yards in total second amongst the receivers on
the team. He's gonna be stepping in here, so I
give him see and then lastly Kate Otton and I'm
gonna give him a bee. He had eighty one yards

(01:24:04):
and twelve fantasy points against the Seahawks. San Francisco has
allowed eighty two yards and one touchdown at tight ends
this season, so it's not the easiest matchup, but Tampa
Bay badly needs the production, and I think Baker Mayfield's
gonna be looking Kate Otton's way quite often on Sunday.

Speaker 1 (01:24:19):
All right, Matt, We've got three minutes left in the
show to cover the Bills taking on the Falcons. The
Falcons are a pesky good defense that I think a
lot of people don't realize makes for a tough matchup.

Speaker 5 (01:24:28):
Yeah, it's thorny. Atlanta's defense been awesome this year. Bucky
Irvings the only running back that's topped eleven PPR points
against the Falcons, and he totaled eighteen touches forty five
total yards in a scorer. So James Cook just a
C grade in this one. Josh Allen probably gets his
worst possible grade, and that's a bee. Even though Atlanta's
had the best defense in the league against the past

(01:24:49):
two Allen's just buoyed by multiple passing scores in four
to five and at least twenty five rushing yards in
every game this year. Dalton Kinkaid, a top two scoring
fantasy tight end by most scoring systems, were touchdown receptions
in three of five last week. He didn't score, but
he had six catches in one hundred and eight yards.
The Falcons are the best tight end defense as well.

(01:25:09):
The high water mark for a tight end this year
was zach Ertz's two catches for twenty one yards. I'm
still gonna float a C grade to Kincaid as he's
the best tight end they face so far. Khalil Shakir
and Keon Coleman they both get Sea starts as well.
The Falcons trios of corners haven't lit up the world yet,
but each of them having a Pro Football Focus ranking

(01:25:31):
of sixty third or worse out of one hundred and
six total cornerbacks. Aj Terrell might not go in this
one due to a hamstring injury as well, so Coleman
might get the slight edge here. If I could give
out a plus grade, that's where I'd go. Shakir tends
to stay in the slot against Billy Bowman, though, who's
only allowed a passer rating of fifty three in his coverage.

(01:25:52):
I trust Allen's talent. That's why it's a C grade
against the toughest wide receiver matchup in football. Right now,
As I flip over to the foul side. There's not
much to like besides Bijon Robinson, who gets an A grade.
You don't need a reason to start Bijon, but five
yards per carry and Matt Mulano might not go in
this one. I think it's going to be a run
heavy day for the Falcons. Michael Pennix and the passing game,

(01:26:15):
they're in a tough spot.

Speaker 3 (01:26:16):
The Bills are.

Speaker 5 (01:26:17):
Along the second fewest passing yards on the third fewest completions.
Quarterbacks who can run they've had success, but that's not Pennix.

Speaker 3 (01:26:24):
He doesn't have that game.

Speaker 5 (01:26:26):
He's been under ten rushing yards in three of his
four games this year.

Speaker 3 (01:26:29):
The problem is he's only had.

Speaker 5 (01:26:30):
Three touchdown passes on the year, which has killed as receivers.
So Kyle Pitts he's going to be on the bench too.
Despite averaging fifty yards per game, he's only found the
end zone once. Bills are one of the best tight
end defenses in the league, with opponents averaging just two
catches for twenty two yards per game, and London just
gets a C grade. The Bills are top ten in
receptions and receiving yards allowed to wide receivers, but London's

(01:26:54):
nearly ten targets per game keeps him in lineups.

Speaker 1 (01:26:56):
Drake London with ten targets even he gets a good defense,
that is pretty good opportunity.

Speaker 2 (01:27:01):
Check for Darnold Nooney on your waiver wire. I found
him available in some leads.

Speaker 1 (01:27:05):
He is not going to play this weekend, but he's
going to come back soon and that is an opportunity
for your team in the future. Thanks to Matt Harrison
and Thorne Eistrom and Robbie Rosenhaus for all the help
today on Fantasy Football Weekly, Best of luck in week six.

Speaker 2 (01:27:19):
