Hey, you deserve to be there. I think that's one
of the things about Canton. People think it's just about
the Hall of Famers, but I think it's where our
fans really get to.

it's where you come and you get to see it

in Canton. Yea, they have a call a campus, so
you can go there. You can get with needing food,
needing more education, needing help at home.

But I was excited though five Vikings though. There were
a lot of people who doubted us, say, hey, JJ,
he's not he's not ready, he's not gonna do this,
And I'm like, hey, we're playing Detroit. JJ's going home basically, yeah,

Just because the physicality that the Vikings brought both offensive
line defensive line. Yeah, so impressive in Detroit on the road.
You're coming off of that Chargers game, which it's like

Yeah yeah, you're like, well, guy, I didn't like that
at all.

Oh no, but JJ McCarthy, now he is too and
O on the road and two and oh in the
NFC North and the kid, I know, you can sit
there and look at the numbers, you can kind of
crush those a little bit. And so far in the
three games that he's played, he's averaging like one hundred
and fifty yards. Uh, he's got four touchdowns, he's got
four interceptions to rushing touchdowns. But there's just something different

that we saw in what we wanted to see in JJ.

I think what what I saw is more confidence. And
one of the things that I noticed was when he
was doing this, it's zen moment.

I think for you to because for me personally, when
when I wanted to be myself on the field, it
takes a lot of not see on this, but it
takes a lot of confidence. Ball, but it takes a
lot of confidence to do that. And to watch him

So I'm very proud of him. And uh, you know, hey,
when this is a game when we need it in Detroit,
we're our backs against the ball because everybody nobody from whatever,
from ESPN to the c Bills, whatever, like, yeah, bikes
don't have a chance.

How do you feel about the face paint.

Because you got not only JJ McCarthy or he's got
the face paint thing going on there, Levi Drake Rodriguez,
who I absolutely love that suit.

see that something that I was in the Viking locker

Thomas trying to with his hands tape, no gloves, and
I'm like, I don't know what I can do to me.

there and I'm like, I was telling I think it
was Eddie McDaniel. Somebody's going, man, does he know we're
in Dallas, sexy doing this? They may not let us
get out of here because we're in Cowboys country here,

away from his legs and when you watched because I've
watched him play over the years, everybody goes after his legs,

and get his legs because a car without wheels is
not moving, a running back without his legs is not

And I go, John told me you're the worst golfer

all plenty, And he looked at me.

He's like, what about the worst golfer Mike.

He says he kicks your ass every time, and he goes, well,
I mean he does beat me. You and I did
not discuss this, and you walked over right at that perfect.

Hey, you deserve to be there. I think that's one
of the things about Canton. People think it's just about
the Hall of Famers, but I think it's where our
fans really get to.

The home of a pro football Hall of Fame, and
it's where you come and you get to see it
the you know, the where football was started at excuse me,
and that's where it got started. And I think every
fan needs to go there. And uh I go back

I'm involved with it, it's the Salvation Army down there

in Canton. Yea, they have a call a campus, so
you can go there. You can get with needing food,
needing more education, needing help at home.

They provide that all in Canton, Ohio at the campus.

But I was excited though five Vikings though. There were
a lot of people who doubted us, say, hey, JJ,

oh boy on the other side for Detroit golf.

Just because the physicality that the Vikings brought both offensive
line defensive line. Yeah, so impressive in Detroit on the road.
You're coming off of that Chargers game, which it's like
still a little bit of throw up in my mouth,
like when the roller coaster goes too fast.

Yeah yeah, you're like, well, guy, I didn't like that
at all.
Speaker 6 (08:43):
Oh no, but JJ McCarthy, now he is too and
O on the road and two and oh in the
NFC North and the kid, I know, you can sit
there and look at the numbers, you can kind of
crush those a little bit. And so far in the
three games that he's played, he's averaging like one hundred
and fifty yards. Uh, he's got four touchdowns, he's got
four interceptions to rushing touchdowns. But there's just something different

that we saw in what we wanted to see in JJ.

I think what what I saw is more confidence. And
one of the things that I noticed was when he
was doing this, it's zen moment.

On the sideline.

I think for you to because for me personally, when
when I wanted to be myself on the field, it
takes a lot of not see on this, but it
takes a lot of confidence. Ball, but it takes a
lot of confidence to do that. And to watch him
try to be himself. Dude, he's coming into his own

and uh him and you still gotta look at it.

He's still like a rookie. Yeah, it's a quarterback. It's
just three games.

Yes, But the thing about him though, man, he's I
wanna say he's cocky, but damn, he just man, he's
he's in there and like, hey, you.

Yes, And when I watched him go in the locker
room before the game stem high fiving Koc, it shows
you that he's got that. To me, he's he's got that. Well,
he's Hey, you know what, I'm okay with being on
the pedestal. I'm okay realizing that teams are gonna try
and play me differently by trying to show me stuff

that they're I've never seen or trying to just outwit me.
So I'm very proud of him. And uh, you know, hey,
when this is a game when we need it in Detroit,
we're our backs against the ball because everybody nobody from whatever,
from ESPN to the c Bills, whatever, like, yeah, bikes
don't have a chance.

How do you feel about the face paint.

Because you got not only JJ McCarthy or he's got
the face paint thing going on there, Levi Drake Rodriguez,
who I absolutely love that suit.

him play though, the things that you have to take
away from his legs and when you watched because I've
watched him play over the years, everybody goes after his legs,
and that's where he doesn't want.

To stay high on him, but you go down low
and get his legs because a car without wheels is
not moving, a running back without his legs is not
going anywhere.

that growing up. You and I are like similar in age,
so we do remember having the TV trays? What where
