I lead Vikes Bites at the Friday Football Feast puts
on Nordo on a spot to analyze at least one
time during the week.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
And we're going to begin here with a JJ McCarthy.
All right.

Speaker 1 (01:35):
JJ McCarthy, quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings, came up limited
on the practice report on Wednesday. He went full yesterday.
We have some healing hand related terrorism with the twenty
two year old quarterback. Alec Lewis is the reporter of
the bunch. He's been monitoring this very closely, even during

(01:56):
the Friday football feast, Aleck, what can you tell us?

Speaker 4 (02:00):
Uh?

Speaker 5 (02:00):
Yeah, I think JJ McCarthy he'll be full today in
practice and then ready to rock for Sunday. And we'll
see how much that affects him from an accuracy perspective.
I mean, that's the one thing is I watch JJ
this weekend? It is it's gonna be accuracy. Can't you
play some ball on time in rhythm? How well is
he's seeing the field? Those have been the things that

(02:20):
have been important to see. And this Bears defense, Just
for the record, this Bears defense has been atrocious.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
Like they are.

Speaker 5 (02:27):
Giving up some of the most yards in the NFL,
some of the highest explosive play rate. It is not
like if the Vikings can't run and throw against this defense,
the problems are greater.

Speaker 4 (02:39):
So yeah, well, I'm glad you mentioned that because when
we open the show, we're trying to pump it up.
We got a freaking marching band, we got an anthem,
and then you hit us with a hand in grenard
probably not playing. You were so negative in the opening segments.
One of the things you mentioned, I believe, were that
the Bears were one of the better third and long
defenses they are in the NFL. They've played in the

(03:00):
six wins teams with a combined record of fifteen forty
one in one. It's not good not to mention the
fact as part of these six wins, these guys have
had to scratch, claw and rely on bad teams making
huge mistakes at the worst moments to find their way
into the end zone to get ahead. You got the
disaster with the Bengals and onside kick Flacco does his thing,

(03:20):
Colston Lovelin comes out of nowhere and bounces off of safety.
You got Russell Wilson coming in for Jackson Dart, awful
punter who should be cut, leaves the Bears at midfield,
and plenty of time to get into the end zone
for the game winner. This team can be run up
and freaking down on and they should be at us
Bank Stadium on Sunday.

Speaker 1 (03:38):
All right, This is the create your own bike bite
portion of the equation.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
What's your name and where are you from? This is
Casey from Lakeville.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
Casey from Lakeville, Ay for going on the microphone. Casey,
Ladies and gentlemen, how about that? Who?

Speaker 2 (03:53):
How about that? Praise God? Hell Louis? How about that?
What's up? What's your bike bite? All right?

Speaker 6 (04:00):
So, Pa, this is a picture of you, me and
Pete Bursich in the booth two thousand and seven, Soldier
feld yep.

Speaker 1 (04:05):
I have black hair and only one chin with two eyebrows,
so that has to be a long time ago.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
Do you remember this?

Speaker 6 (04:12):
Two thousand and seven Adrian ran for two twenty four
and three touchdowns and we won. Which current Viking was
at this game? And it was his first NFL game ever.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
Two thousand and seven, what year two thousand and seven?
Added or in it at the game. It was his
first game he ever attended.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
Oh yeah, uh oh, Carson wentz jj oh that was
at Chicago.

Speaker 6 (04:40):
McCarthy's first game he ever attended.

Speaker 2 (04:42):
He watched the Vikings beat the Bears.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
How about that, ladies and gentlemen, praise God, Hall Louis.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
How about that for that Viking? How about that? Alright?

Speaker 1 (04:51):
Anybody have any Vikes bites related questions? Put your hand
in the air waving like you just don't care. I want,
don't be afraid. What's your name?

Speaker 2 (05:01):
Ashley?

Speaker 1 (05:03):
Your question is, oh boy, oh you got it written
down there?

Speaker 2 (05:06):
Okay, your handwritings. What's your name again? Ashley? Where are
you from? Lakeville? Okay? You ready? Sure? Oh?

Speaker 5 (05:14):
No?

Speaker 2 (05:14):
Oh goodness?

Speaker 1 (05:16):
By how many points do we think the Vikings are
gonna win on Sunday?

Speaker 2 (05:20):
What a Vike bite? That is?

Speaker 1 (05:21):
Al Why don't you handle that one?

Speaker 2 (05:25):
By?

Speaker 5 (05:25):
How many points are the Vikings gonna win on Sunday?

Speaker 2 (05:29):
Look for me?

Speaker 5 (05:30):
It comes down really to turnovers and penalties. We mentioned
the Bears defense. They give up yards left and right. Yep,
But they have created more turnovers than any other defense
in the NFL nineteen.

Speaker 4 (05:43):
In their six wins, just one in their three losses.

Speaker 5 (05:47):
So can the Vikings prevent from turning the football over?
And then to the third down point that I mentioned earlier?
And how good they are on third down defense. Yeah,
the Vikings have to avoid penalties to where they are
backing themselves up into those situations. We saw eight false starts.
It was making Pete Bursich go crazy in the press box.

(06:09):
So avoiding the penalties, the false starts, the cadence issues,
whatever that was, that cannot happen ever again because it
hadn't happened in sixteen.

Speaker 2 (06:18):
Years for a home team. So yeah, great question, Ashley, Yep,
excellent question. Thank you, Ashley my Man. Right here. What's
your name?

Speaker 1 (06:26):
Where are you from? Hunter from Northfield? Hunter from Northfield.
Ladies and gentlemen around him applause. He's going on the
radio taking that lead. Raise God, all Louis.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
How about that? What's your question?

Speaker 1 (06:39):
How do you think daris osben since he's been back,
oh seventy one?

Speaker 2 (06:44):
How's he played since he returned? Or don't you well?

Speaker 4 (06:46):
I think we've seen stability and you can see it,
and it's tough because not every category fits in the
Pro Football focus sphere or universe. I think there's a
lot of information that's not on the table when you
see various raids and things.

Speaker 2 (07:01):
I think from a pass protection standpoint, we.

Speaker 4 (07:04):
Are about what would you call it, ninety ish percent
alec in terms of what we're seeing. We don't have
to deal with the snap count anymore, thank goodness. I
wonder how much having the rookie Donovan Jackson next to
him matters. I also in some ways I wonder game
flow and what we're doing.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
Or not doing in the run game.

Speaker 4 (07:21):
I think I think Darrisol has stood out as being
really the anchor of that line. He's kind of returning
and mostly has returned to high form.

Speaker 5 (07:28):
Yeah, I mean he's been huge rewatching the Bears Vikings
Week one game justin school. Was beat multiple times in
that game, and it was a major role in the
offensive struggles.

Speaker 2 (07:39):
In that game for those first three quarters.

Speaker 5 (07:41):
So to have Darrisol massive obviously him, Brian O'Neal, Donovan Jackson,
Will Fries. You just gotta think that the more these
guys are together, the better this group is gonna operate.

Speaker 2 (07:52):
Vike's bits provided.

Speaker 4 (07:54):
By thousand hiels, Lifetime, Grays grass fed.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
All right, Buffalo, Wow, Williams Lakeville. Look, who has the
next question is the little buddy? What's your name and
where are you from?

Speaker 2 (08:06):
My name is Crosby and I'm from Fairbolt, Minnesota. Well,
it's great.

Speaker 1 (08:11):
What's your question for Nordo who we call the con
and Alex from the athletic.

Speaker 4 (08:18):
How many sacks did Jonathan Gernard get in his first season?

Speaker 2 (08:22):
How many sacks first season with the Bikings?

Speaker 1 (08:24):
How many sacks did Jonathan Bernard have in his first
season with the old Minnesota Vikings.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
I'll take a crack. If you guys don't know, well.

Speaker 4 (08:31):
I'm gonna I'm gonna take it's either eleven or eleven
and a half.

Speaker 1 (08:35):
Okay, you have a guest ten and a half. I
was gonna say ten and a half. What's the answer
eleven and a half? We paid the can great question,
Thank you, little brother.

Speaker 2 (08:45):
That's awesome this week A factor that would be huge. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (08:50):
If they don't have Jonathan Garnard in this, dou wo
be we've lost them. Yeah, I mean all right, you
never know he's out. The different shows happening, right, Yeah,
I mean this is not it's hard to it's hard
to you know, go through this with a run through.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
We don't know what's gonna happen.

Speaker 1 (09:06):
We uh, we are testing not only the the uh,
the lengths of the wits Oh boy, w I t
s of the engineer Jared Wells by being all the
way back here at the back of Buffalo Wild Wings.

Speaker 2 (09:22):
Uh, but I think everything's working okay.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
But we also are uh testing the knowledge of Minnesota
Vikings fans because we have a bike bite from my
man here?

Speaker 2 (09:31):
What's your name? Where you're from? Joe Vasha Island, Washington State? Hello?

Speaker 1 (09:36):
Wow, Joe, Washington State? Right on MANU. Dispensaries, right, they
have those? I hear did you have do you have
to sweat? T s A.

Speaker 2 (09:44):
I'm past that, thank you?

Speaker 5 (09:46):
What's your what dispensaries?

Speaker 2 (09:49):
Rights? What's your bike bite? Well? What's the over under?
On koc's first pressure question three.

Speaker 1 (09:55):
Minutes answers response over three minutes, Alex, you attend all
the press conferences up, Kevin O'Connell, I attend most. I'm
gonna leave this to you, Kevin O'Connell and the over
under on his response time with his first question at
today's presser, it'll.

Speaker 5 (10:15):
Be definitely under today. He's quick on Fridays, Yeah, and
I mean it's tough.

Speaker 4 (10:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (10:19):
If Kevin O'Connell doesn't give a long answer, then it's
like is he is everything? Okay, and then if he
gives a short answer like there's no winning with that.
Press conferences in many ways can be so performative, and
that's why it's my least favorite part of the job.

Speaker 2 (10:34):
I think it was a great question.

Speaker 4 (10:36):
But I just think the number was a bit high
because three is a lot. You can't put a quarter
in that slot machine, and you're guaranteed sixty seconds, Like
you just ask whatever you want. You've signed up for
a minute, and then, as he said, based on the mood,
based on the question, maybe specifically, that's where you get
closer to ninety seconds or two minutes.

Speaker 5 (10:54):
Well, the funny thing about the questions is like you
could start one way and then a minute and a
half later we're talking about something though way, but no,
I Kevin and how he answers those questions. When you
do the job that I do, you appreciate the thought,
the intent that he puts behind him.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
So that's what I'd say. Okay, may I ask you
a question? Yes? Why did you ask that question? Because
koc is so long winded?

Speaker 1 (11:21):
Okay, do you prefer listening to his press conferences or not?
I actually do, yeah, because and the reason I brought
it up was because there are one of two ways
to go about it. Like, we can get onto Cincinnati,
onto Cincinnati, onto Cincinnati, I mean, great past performances, wonderful resume, right,

(11:41):
nobody wants anything to do with him anymore. Or you
can have people who work in the journalism business like Alec,
where they are going to appreciate the elongated nature of
the answers because they realize their bruton's being laid out
along the way.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
Hey, they get us to the chef's stay, you know
what I mean?

Speaker 1 (12:03):
Yep, A round up applause from my man, save travel,
Praise God, al Louis.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
How about that? How about that? All right?

Speaker 1 (12:10):
Anybody have a question last chance? Alrighty, what is your
name and where are you from?

Speaker 2 (12:17):
I'm Janelle, I'm from Stuartville, Minnesota. Hello.

Speaker 1 (12:20):
My question is who from the Vikings should I put
on my DraftKings lineup this week? Okay, Well, what we're
gonna do here is we're going to eliminate Draft Kings
from the equation, and we're gonna say prize picks because
Prize Picks is on sports and it's also a proud
DraftKings may advertise with k F A M. But whatever,

(12:43):
not everybody can get to DraftKings, you know, for from
an illegality standpoint, but nevertheless, everybody can get the prize pick.
So from a prize pick standpoint, if you put two
players together, you get yourself a nice little parlay there.
Janelle is it? Yes, Janelle wants to make a little money.
Let's go to Nordo.

Speaker 4 (13:03):
What do you think get your eighteen jerseys out this weekend?
Because Justin Jefferson, what was it twelve thirteen targets last week?
Four receptions between him and Addison it was seven catches
on twenty three targets. That's disastrous whole thing. When South
team loses the game, Justin Jefferson is going, what does
he get?

Speaker 2 (13:22):
Savage mode? Savage mode, you call it whatever you want.

Speaker 4 (13:25):
Weird alter egos that I don't even want to try
and keep up with. Justin Jefferson will be double digit targets.
Justin Jefferson will not have four catches. He will have seven,
eight nine you count that up.

Speaker 2 (13:36):
He will find his way into the end zone this weekend.

Speaker 4 (13:38):
Priority one, I believe for this offense is getting eighteen
to do what he does.

Speaker 5 (13:42):
You also got to imagine that the head coach is
back there as the designing plays like, how can we
make sure Justin exits this game with a much happier
look on his face than he did last week?

Speaker 2 (13:53):
So that's where I would go to.

Speaker 5 (13:55):
The Other one would be Aaron Jones, like, I just
think he's come back from the hamstring injury last two
weeks and looked fresh and looked like the player that
you know, people who root for the team here did
not probably enjoy watching Green Bay like he has looked
that good the last couple of weeks.

Speaker 2 (14:11):
So those two are the two I'd say, Hey, Janelle,
I'm gonna give you a sneaky one.

Speaker 1 (14:17):
Jalen Naylor should have seven touchdowns this year.

Speaker 2 (14:19):
He only has two.

Speaker 1 (14:21):
At least seven, and Naylor is generally a pretty good
price here. Consider Jalen Naylor every game the rest of
the way as kind of a spot up, you know,
middling longer shot. Okay, thank you, Janelle, last Onelajjah. What
is your name and where are you from?

Speaker 2 (14:39):
Janna from Farmington? I love Janet? Hello, round of applause here, Janet?
Thank god? How about that? How about that? How about that?
All right? What's the question?

Speaker 1 (14:50):
I know they opened up Brian Kelly's twenty one day
practice window.

Speaker 2 (14:53):
Where the odds do you think that he plays on Sunday?

Speaker 1 (14:56):
Look at that Ryan Kelly the center out with multiple CONTs.
A great question right here, and he's been limited limited
at practice. Let's go back to the legitimate reporting desk
and journalistic excellence. Bengette, Dane Mitt, Kevin sitt Well, it's
Alec Lewis.

Speaker 2 (15:16):
Yeah, one of the odds he plays Sunday. I'm not
there yet.

Speaker 5 (15:20):
Like, if it happens, I'm not gonna be crazy surprised,
but I would not predict that to be the case.
I you know, if he does when he does play,
if he does play, he's gonna play with a new helmet.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
He's gonna be using a Guardian cap.

Speaker 5 (15:34):
They've done a lot of work behind the scenes just
to be as smart as possible with this thing. So
I will say that, and then I I, you know,
Ryan Kelly really wants to play, like I think that's
the thing that's been abundantly clear. He's in the building
every day, he has been for weeks. So it feels
to me like this week is a ramp up, and
then maybe next week in Green Bay that would be

(15:56):
the spot, I'd be more likely probably to expect to
see him.

Speaker 4 (16:01):
Of everything you said is totally right. But the ramp
up part I think is important here because he's got
to get back in the mix. It's a timing thing.
I don't need Ryan Kelly with a couple of false
starts on Sunday after what happened last week, just because
he's still finding his way into the mix. Is he
better when fully healthy than mister Jurgens or excuse me,
mister Brandell. Absolutely, but he's got to find his way

(16:21):
from a health, a rhythm or rep perspective. I would
anticipate it's another week or two before he plays.

Speaker 2 (16:27):
Yeah, i'd predict Lambeau.

Speaker 5 (16:28):
Yeah, that would be safer. I'd like to see how
he gets through this week. And it just feels to
me like there is a there's a plan internally for it,
but it's a day to day evaluation kind of adaptation.

Speaker 1 (16:40):
All right, We have a bonus bike bite here moment
gerially once again bike spice provided by.

Speaker 4 (16:45):
Thousand Hills Lifetime grazed grass fed Beef.

Speaker 2 (16:49):
What is your name and where are you from? Scott Fish? Wait?

Speaker 1 (16:53):
Scott Fish from the Fantasy Football Weekly Show on Kavana. Yep, bro,
why are you back away from the microphone like you're
afraid of it when you do radio every single week.

Speaker 2 (17:05):
I'm not afraid of it. I'm good.

Speaker 1 (17:06):
Okay, Well, let me ask you a question. When you
guys do x amount hard questions, five hard five tough
questions whatever, three tough questions and and you and who else?
Who would the other person be?

Speaker 7 (17:17):
Well, today might be our last FFW for a little
bit here, so we have Charge on today and we
have Matt Harrison.

Speaker 1 (17:24):
Okay, Matt Harrison was the name of was looking forward
with Scott Fish. How come Charge asked the questions? You
guys answer them and then he gets to say whoa
whoa whoa whoa? Well, actually, here's the reality. Why does
he always get to have the right answer?

Speaker 2 (17:41):
We let him have that.

Speaker 7 (17:42):
He's got a hubrisk we need to do.

Speaker 2 (17:45):
We need defeat at times.

Speaker 4 (17:47):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (17:47):
By the way, you're the bomb on the show.

Speaker 1 (17:49):
And in closing, since you've poured over all the numbers
the fantasy wherewithal and everything for this week for the
fantasy football loving crowd at Buffalo Wild Wings, give them
one sneaky player doesn't have to be Viking or bear.
But I mean, let's not go. I hop on it
and go like Hurts Allan Herbert, the best of the best. Like,

(18:10):
give them one sneaky offensive player from any team that
can help them find fantasy freedom.

Speaker 7 (18:17):
I'm gonna give you two, Gona, I'm gonna give you
the extra Mike Wilson from Arizona Cardinals. With Marvin Harrison out,
the ball's gotta go somewhere and that's a great matchup
for him. Also, Pat Firemouth against the Bengals. They've allowed
twelve touchdowns to tight ends this week. He had two
touchdowns against this same Bengals team just a few weeks ago.

Speaker 1 (18:35):
Scott Fish, Nice job, brother, Hey Scott Fish, Fantasy Football Weekly,
About that?

Speaker 2 (18:43):
All right?

Speaker 1 (18:44):
Those are Vike spikes. There comes Devin Ward with the
cash Baby.

Speaker 2 (18:49):
What's up?

Speaker 1 (19:06):
Marcers Buffalo Wild Wing's Lakeville Listen very closely, Listen very closely.

(19:41):
Minnesota Vikings immortality is here, Henry Thomas, Keith Millard, and
Tommy Kramer right over there.

Speaker 2 (19:50):
What's going on? What's going on?

Speaker 1 (19:52):
That's Vikings immortality? Who Brian can't read lips?

Speaker 2 (19:56):
Just yell it? What Harley and Carl Lee, Ladies and gentlemen. Wow,
I've got some immortality over there.

Speaker 1 (20:04):
God bless you guys, and thanks for coming out to
the phase you guys right on.

Speaker 2 (20:08):
All right, So let's let's think about the doc.

Speaker 1 (20:11):
List doc for a second doc list doc generally prepared
by Alex Lewis. But I guess we'll just throw caution
to the win on this one. When it comes to
the Minnesota Vikings tell us about running effectively?

Speaker 5 (20:23):
Yeah, I mean, it just feels like running the football
is a possibility in this game against this Bears defense.
They have an interior guy Andrew Billings, who they did
not have in Week one, but Jervon Dexter. None of
these guys are exceptional, exceptional and real imposing from a
run defense standpoint. So Aaron Joes Jordan Mason should be

(20:46):
able to run the ball to be able to stay
out a third and long in this game. And I
just if you can have a level of balance moving
the football against this defense is doable.

Speaker 2 (20:56):
How much?

Speaker 4 (20:56):
How much can you pull from Week one with the
way the Bears have changed, with the way maybe we're
different into this game.

Speaker 2 (21:02):
Yeah, I think you can pull some.

Speaker 5 (21:05):
I would say that the Bears don't have Jalen Johnson
in this game. Their cornerbacks are Nayshan Wright, Tyreek Stevenson.

Speaker 2 (21:14):
Just Stevenson's very iffy for this one. Oh and he's
They're using CJ.

Speaker 1 (21:18):
Gardner Johnson mostly as corner, some as safety.

Speaker 5 (21:22):
And even Tyreek Stevenson, he's iffy when he's not playing,
and he's iffy when he's on the field.

Speaker 2 (21:26):
And that's just it. Like Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison. The
Vikings didn't have Jordan Addison.

Speaker 5 (21:32):
In Week one, or darisaw or Darisol, So there's a
lot of there's a lot of differences with this one.

Speaker 2 (21:38):
My question really is, if I'm.

Speaker 5 (21:39):
Dennis Allen, the Bears defensive coordinator, what is preventing me
from just letting it rip from a blitz standpoint? Because
they don't get quick pressure and they can't really cover
on the back end, So why not junk it up?

Speaker 2 (21:51):
If I was him? All right.

Speaker 1 (21:52):
Roman Dunza has like six touchdowns. Dj Moore is run
for one, caught one and thrown one. Colston leveland tenth
overall pick in the most recent draft. A couple of touchdowns.
They think he's catching fire. And then you got DeAndre
Swift and those running backs all all orchestrated by Kandlon Williams.
So the Bears passing game, it's it's I've said nor

(22:16):
no shared and and you've emphasized, you know, the the
Bears are gonna come in here and run one eighty
five per of the last five. What if they come
in here pass heavy. What do you think of the
Bear's passing game.

Speaker 5 (22:27):
Well, the Vikings have done a great job really for
the most part the last two weeks stopping the runs.
So you know, if that, if that continues, then they're
gonna have to throw. The one guy you didn't mention
with the skill players is Luther Burden. Yeah, and he's
a rookie from Miszou Myoma mater with the ball in
his hands is a special player.

Speaker 2 (22:47):
Think he had a nice touchdown last game.

Speaker 5 (22:48):
I don't know if he had a I don't know touchdown,
but I know he had a couple of really impressive catches.
So tackling on the edge from Byron Murphy, Isaiah Rodgers
Josh mattelis if it's THEO Jackson, a deep safety like
yards after catch is a focal point of Ben Johnson's offense,
limiting that as much as possible. It's critical how exotic

(23:09):
I they've gotten. I've seen them getting a little gadgety
in recent weeks. Is this a lineup and we're just
gonna do this well or did they try to trick
you a little bit? They definitely try to trick you. Mean,
Ben Johnson has a little like smartest in the room.
Sometimes it borders on genius. Sometimes it borders on your
overthinking this. I mean he has some of that too.
The but they will they will go heavy personnel with Jumbo,

(23:33):
they will go with two tight ends and have Cole
Comett as the fullback. They'll do a lot of different things,
and their run game is very creative. They'll pull guys,
they'll move guys, They'll they'll deek you in many ways.

Speaker 2 (23:45):
It's it's a creative offense.

Speaker 1 (23:46):
Final segment today Friday Football Fees Style from Buffalo Wild
Wings Lakeville is Natt all right, thank you very much

(24:10):
for coming out to Buffalo Wild Wings Lakeville today, and
special bank us to Emma White with Faith Family Church
for singing the Star Spangled Banner to kick things off
for us. Round of applause for missy Emma White. Not
here anymore, but maybe she's listening. Great great job with that, terrific.
And also the Lakeville South High School marching band or

(24:37):
just the band, how about that? Yeah, I mean we
show up and we hear a tuba and it's like.

Speaker 2 (24:43):
Whoa, we hear Boro Pop.

Speaker 1 (24:47):
So they're working on street Beater by Quincy Jones, the
Sanford and Son theme. They played the opening song for
nine to Noon. They played a bumper song. They entertained
you between segments and round of applause for the Lakeville
South High School Band, Ladies and gentlemen.

Speaker 2 (25:03):
Football team's got a big one tonight.

Speaker 1 (25:05):
I believe football team seven thirty against Morehead seven thirty
against Morehead at US Bank Stadium.

Speaker 4 (25:12):
Buds might have a hockey squad, but maybe Lakeville South
handles it on the Gridirons.

Speaker 1 (25:16):
Late night, Lakeville South US Bank Stadium, tear it up tonight.
Thank you for all the love the sweatshirts and everything.
And next week we are at Buffalo Wild Wings Blaine,
alec Lewis Nordo, yours truly, J Dubb, Nick Madden Street Team.

Speaker 2 (25:30):
That's our fist.

Speaker 1 (25:32):
And you know, I'm just respectfully going to call out
would be too strong, respectfully request the Blaine High School
band or marching band. You're well, I mean you're welcome
to get there early with a like a single tuba

(25:53):
guy or woman.

Speaker 2 (25:56):
Or a trio or a big, a big production.

Speaker 1 (26:00):
But Lakeville South started this X amount of years ago
they did, and high schools responded week after week.

Speaker 4 (26:07):
I think we had four or five six of them
right around there, kind after Lakeville.

Speaker 1 (26:12):
So Blaine you're next. If you're so inclined, we give
you run on the radio to execute your toil. And
if you're interested in taking part in the opening song,
we call it the Sanford and Sun theme.

Speaker 2 (26:24):
But banot don it uh, It's.

Speaker 1 (26:26):
Technically called street Beater by the great Quincy Jones. So
y'all want to work on that, we will be a
Buffalo Wild Wings Blaine in all of our proud Bengals attire,
and we welcome you to the radio show after so inclined.
Any final thoughts before we say goodbye to Buffalo Wild
Wings Lakeville about this week's Vikings and Bears game, Young Alec, your.

Speaker 5 (26:48):
First, stop the run and run. That's really all I
have to say. Stop the run and run.

Speaker 2 (26:54):
Stop the run and run.

Speaker 4 (26:56):
And that's yeah, I mean, just the absolute basic drill.
It Yet it's the most vital thing, right and through
nine games, what's this team's identity? Well, right now, it's
been mistake prone. It has been undisciplined. Change that even
for a day for a team and the Bears that
feast off of bad teams.

Speaker 2 (27:16):
Feast off of mistakes, beast off of a lack of discipline,
just roll in there. How about one.

Speaker 4 (27:21):
False start instead of eight, instead of three turnovers? How
about none, if only for a day. And I think
it can be that simple, whether it's running and stopping
the run, having a disciplined afternoon. I just I see
the Vikings at five and five as we are in playing.

Speaker 2 (27:36):
A week from today.

Speaker 1 (27:37):
We I mean, you know, Alex, I think we all
kind of see this as a fifty to fifty game?

Speaker 2 (27:43):
Is that fair way to look?

Speaker 1 (27:44):
I mean, I thoroughly and fully expect a Minnesota Vikings
victory this week, and I don't say that every single week,
but off the way things developed in the Baltimore game,
like off the Chargers game, like off the touchdown less
Atlanta Falcons game, there was somebody to pay. The next week,

(28:05):
Cincinnati was won, the Detroit Lions were another. I think
the Bears are going to fit that bill. And then
when we do the blame feast after the Vikings win,
because they should win this game, then it's going to
be Lambeau and it's like, all right, this is big here.

Speaker 2 (28:20):
Man. We've seen this movie man, good bad, good bad.
So what do you what do you do? You guys
think it's a fifty to fifty game this weekend? Yeah,
I truly do. But I think it's fifty to fifty because.

Speaker 4 (28:31):
We've made them stations until again, discipline, lack of mistakes
and it's a w Hey, this was awesome.

Speaker 1 (28:38):
Jared Wells, the master mixer, he had a lot to
deal with today and he came in to uniflate for
the crowd.

Speaker 2 (28:44):
Was great.

Speaker 1 (28:45):
Nick Madden's Street Team, Ladies and Gentlemen. Alec Lewis from
the Athletic Nordo from nine to noon and I'm Paul
Allen Top to you a Sunday when we're together at
noon on PFA in or at US Banks Stadium and
we all are there.

Speaker 2 (29:01):
For the bomb.

Speaker 1 (29:04):
Minnesota Vikings football will be in the air and they're
gonna beat the Bears.

Speaker 2 (29:09):
Have a good weekend.

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
