She is my granddaughter's mother, yourgranddaughter's mother. Okay, gotcha. And
a lot of time, the waythis works is people go through life and

cannot be completed. Let's try itthis way. Okay. Oh no,
(02:39):
that's not a good time. Okay, do you want to write write down
the number that you have for her, just in case I've got a wrong
number, because sometimes in the transcription, and this is all live, sometimes
we get the wrong number. Kyleis writing down a number for Christmas wish
(03:01):
to call down to Savage. Okay, here we go. Let's try it
again. Okay, so the firstthere was a wrong number in there.
Okay, I'll take that. Herewe go, hopefully crossing my fingers.
(03:21):
Get a hold of my news. That's a good sign. Hello, I'm
calling for Aubrey, Please, Aubrey. I hate to bother you this early
in the morning. It's Dave Ryanover at KDWB Radio. I am here
with Kyle. Say Hi, Kyle, Hi Abba Hi. Do you have
(03:46):
any idea why a radio station andyour friend Kyle would be calling you this
morning? Yeah, have some ideas? Okay, well we do. Christmas
Wish here on KATWB and that iswhere we ask people who listen to the
show to tell us about somebody who'sstruggled a little bit this year, either
health wise, financially wise, familywise, something that happened. And so
(04:09):
Kyle wrote in to tell us alittle bit about your story. If you've
got a minute, Aubrey, thisis Christmas Wish, and this is her
Christmas wish for you. And rightnow Kyle is going to read the letter
that she wrote to us. KyleKyle, good morning Abba Tano, and
(04:29):
nice Christmas wish for you is letme start. It's okay. It's okay
because Kyle said a little while agoshe said I might get emotional. I
said, well, you would notbe the first to get emotional on Christmas
Wish. It's totally fine. I'mjust going to read what I wrote and
go from there. Sure, goahead, of course. Good morning Abba
Tano, and nice Christmas wish isfor you. My granddaughter's mother and your
(04:50):
fiance, Zach. The two ofyou are raising my granddaughter Nyla and your
daughter Lyra, along with your twoyounger sisters. I've known you since you
were sixteen yearsyears old. I've watchedyou grow and become a strong young woman
as well as a wonderful mother. You were a single mom at eighteen and
have made it happen ever since sincethen. You have met Zach when Nyla
was ten months old. I'm happythat you found each other and making it
(05:13):
happen for your little family. Abry, you have a heart of gold.
You're hardworking, loving, and alwayshelping people at trying times, even when
you are in trying times yourself.I have never heard you say no to
anyone that asks for help. Zachhas been an amazing partner for you and
your family. He is hardworking, kind, and also willing to do what
he can to keep things afloat.Recently, Abba, you and Zach made
(05:33):
an addition to your family with babyZaiah. Zaiah was born on October fifth,
and sadly, Ziah suddenly passed awayin the morning of November twenty fifth,
at just fifty one days into herbirth. This is a heartbreaking loss
for the both of you, asI never imagined you would experience such a
thing just two days after Thanksgiving andright before Christmas. I couldn't imagine having
(05:53):
to put aside the grief as wellas put on a smile and keep moving
to prepare for Christmas for the youngerkids and your sisters, at the same
time planning a funeral and having tolay your baby girl to rest, not
to mention to juggle all these expenses. Aubrey and Zach have had financial issues
as they recently moved into their homethat accommodates their new little family. Zach
has had to return back to workjust after week of losing Zia to make
(06:15):
sure all the bills are paid andstill trying to provide for the family as
making as well as pay and payfor funeral and making Christmas happen for everyone.
Aubrey, he has been your rockthrough all this, and I'm so
happy he's there to go through thatwith you. While Aubrey, you are
trying to keep a normal schedule withgetting all the girls to where they need
to be, putting on a smile, and still preparing yourself to go back
to work, I'm not sure whenyou too will have time to properly grieve
(06:40):
the loss of your daughter, asyou all had to jump right back into
everyday life so quickly. Our wishis to hope you relieve some Our hope
is to relieve some stress on youfor this Christmas as your eyes are only
twenty three years old and having todo all this at such a young age.
Aubrey, I'm so sorry to hearabout Zia. And she was only
Ziah and Saiah was only fifty onedays old. My gosh, I can't
(07:05):
even imagine. And now you've,while grieving the loss of your little baby,
you need to make Christmas Christmas foryour other kids. That's got to
be tough, right, the hardestthing I've ever gone through. We can't
(07:27):
even imagine. I mean, nearlyall of us have babies, and if
they have like a little you know, a little problem or whatever, they
usually do just fine. And weraise them until they're adults and they go
off and do their own thing. And it makes me so sad that that
is something that you won't get toexperience with her, and that she won't
get to experience. But you haveto. You have to go through.
(07:51):
You have to keep you have tokeep doing it. How are the other
kids doing? All this? Isstarting to act up a little bit.
I think she's really missing her sister. Yeah, my second oldest. She's
still just happy and chippers. Shedoesn't really understand, like what happened.
(08:11):
She's only one, so she doesn'tsure of course, no, she you
know, knows that one day herbaby wasn't there. And on top of
all this, I mean, whilethere's grieving, Hey, let's face it,
you're a young couple, you're ayoung family, and with a lot
of young people, you don't reallyhave a lot of extra money and finances
have been kind of a struggle forthe last few months or so. Yeah,
(08:33):
okay, Well there is something wecan do to help, and that
is financially and make things a littlebit easier. So that's why we do
Christmas wish. Let's start off withsome things for the family and the things,
some things for the kids. Olivia, tell me about Olivia. How
old is Olivia? Olivia? Okay? And Olivia is to Who is Olivia
(08:58):

cups to some toys, to aradio flyer tricycle, some activity sets,
things like that. Tell me aboutNyla Nilo. She's the sassiest four year
(10:09):
old you'll ever meet. I thinkyou're talking to a teenager when you talk
to her. Oh is that right? She's four? Okay, Well,
we want to get her. Wewant to get her something too. We
got her a kid's bike, Wegot her a bracelet making kid, a
Crayola Imagination art set. And theseare all just things so the kids will
have things. But that doesn't solveyour financial problems. That doesn't help your
(10:31):
financial problems. It helps a littlebit, add some cheer in that type
of thing. But we want tohelp for you and Zach. Here's where
the big stuff comes in, andlet's get started with a five hundred dollars
Cub Foods gift card. Do youthink that will help out around the house.
Five hundred dollars some Cub Foods.Yeah, I haven't gone grocery shopping
yet, so that definitely helped. We got a two hundred dollars Target gift

trying to get through all of this. Thank you. No, it does
(12:54):
happen. I'm so glad we foundyou. You know, there's just certain
things that are just we can't evenwrap our minds around and losing a baby
anytime, and around Christmas is andwhen you've got other kids you had to
take care of and make happy, and also make yourself happy and take care
of yourself and take care of Zachtoo. And I hope this Christmas Wish
