Speaker 1 (00:00):
We got a couple of moms that belonged to the
people on the show. Let's see who we got here. Hello,
Mama Ronda. Hey, uh, Mama Randa, infamous here in the
Twin Cities for soaking your sore feet in hotel room toilets. Now,
that's the first thing we learned about Mama Ronda was
that she would sit on the side of the bathtub
at the holiday inn and soak her sore feet in

(00:22):
the toilet because it felt good in the water. Was cool. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
Yes, if it wasn't a holiday inn, I would only
say it like a.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
S helton o.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
Welcome to the program, Mam Rnda all the way from
fon du Lac, Wisconsin. Let's welcome Mamma Cindy. Hi, Cindy,
Hey Hi. We hear so much about you, how hard
working you are, and you are out there in the
landscaping business and doing your own thing and a woman owned,
woman run business, pushing around a will will barrow full
of gravel. Is that kind of your day, pushing around

(00:56):
will barrows full of gravel?

Speaker 2 (00:59):
Yeah? And a sweep nights.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
Last night we dipped to thirty six degrees and I
have thousands of dollars of annual sitting in my drug
way and they all made it. Oh good, Yeah, she
kind of hordes plans. Yeah, and so they all sit
either in the yard or in her driveway. So as
you know, when it gets really cold that night, that's
not great for plans.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
No, absolutely, I'm glad they made it. Okay, now you've
known these girls, Bailey and Jenny your entire lives, moms, right, Yeah,
dumb questions meant to be dumb, meant to be dumb.
So we're going to start off with you, Mamma Cindy.
I'm going to give you some questions, and you will
try to figure out if Jenny would answer these questions
the same way or how you would answer them. We'll

(01:41):
start off with an easy one. What was when Jenny
was a little girl, her favorite breakfast cereal Lucky Charm Jenny.

Speaker 3 (01:52):
Okay, I mean close, but I would say Captain Crunch. Okay, God,
I did love Lucky terms, so I'd always eat the marshmallows. Auto.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
You guys were lucky because we were Poe and we
didn't get anything besides cheerios and grape nuts.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
Oh trust me, we usually those were a special treat.
When we got those kind of cereals.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
Okay, Jenny, question or Mama, Cindy, what was Jenny's friend
that you didn't like? Everybody has a friend that's a
bad influence, and you were not crazy about this person?
You said, Jenny, you got to choose your friend. Who
was that friend of Jenny's you didn't like, Cindy? Oh, Carissa,
Carrissa Lloyd? Why yes?

Speaker 2 (02:24):
Mom?

Speaker 1 (02:25):
Why? Why would Why did you think that?

Speaker 2 (02:28):
I didn't believe that was true? But that was last
year's question.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
Oh was it last year's question? It was, well, wait
to strategize. I mean, whatever works, right, I think you
had that one last year, right, smart ass. Here's the question,
Cindy that I didn't ask you last year. But color
was jennifer first Jennifer's first bicycle.

Speaker 2 (02:48):
That's really tough. I'm gonna say blue.

Speaker 3 (02:51):
I think it was pink and white. I want to
say it was pink and white.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
I'm going pink and white. It's your bike. You get
the you get the win on that one.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
Okay, Yeah, sorry mom?

Speaker 1 (03:03):
Okay? Uh, what was Jenny's favorite pets name? Growing up?
She probably had several pents. I know you had a
ton of hamsters. She had a hamster farm in the house.
But what was Jenny's favorite pets name, Cindy, was it
a dog?

Speaker 2 (03:19):
A dog name?

Speaker 1 (03:20):
I don't know, Scuber?

Speaker 3 (03:26):
I don't know what do you mean?

Speaker 1 (03:28):
Who's Scuber?

Speaker 3 (03:30):
No, we didn't really have pets, honestly, because we had
a dog when I was very young. But I wasn't
like old enough to even remember. Cheater was her name. Okay,
so I put Cheater because that's the only real pet
I had. I don't know my hamster's names. The five
hundred I got they were breeding in the cage.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
And one more, one more quick one, Cindy, young Jennifer
had a favorite subject at school? What was Jennifer's favorite
subject in school?

Speaker 3 (03:56):
Mom?

Speaker 1 (03:56):
Come on, what was I really good at?

Speaker 2 (04:00):
Well, you were good at writing. So it's it's either ngolish.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
Or math, English or math. Math is the correct one.
You'll come to like math competitions and watch me. I
loved math.

Speaker 2 (04:14):
Yeah, I know.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
Yeah, Cindy, you did fine. You know it's been a
long time. She you know you did fine. No, well
there's that, but you did fine. All right, Now take
a breather, Cindy just relaxed and let's see how Mam
Rnda does. Here we go, Mam Randa, You still with me? Okay,
Mam Miranda. What was Bailey's favorite breakfast cereal as a girl?

Speaker 4 (04:39):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (04:39):
God, probably we had usually healthy breakfast cereals. I would
say Crackling Oak brand.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 4 (04:52):
Okay, I put oatmeal squares, but because I forgot about
Kracklin oat brand. But now that you say, Cracklin oat
Brand one percent delicious?

Speaker 1 (04:59):
Okay, good, all right, all right, we'll give you that one. Okay, okay,
next one. What was Bailey's friend that you didn't like?

Speaker 2 (05:06):
Oh that's that's a nasty question to ask me because
they could be listening.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
I don't care, I do m.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
M Jenny Jenny?

Speaker 1 (05:19):
Okay, j there was a Jenny. Mam Miranda. Why did
you not like Jenny?

Speaker 4 (05:25):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (05:26):
Well, Jenny encouraged Bailey to steal her brother's underwear all that.

Speaker 1 (05:33):
Yeah, yeah, you tell me the quick, quick story.

Speaker 4 (05:36):
Yeah, I stole Jenny's brother's underwear because I had a
crush on him. And I was like, I have a
crush on your brother. She's like to steal his underwear
And I was like okay, and then I did, and
I got in a.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
Lot of trouble. How old were you?

Speaker 4 (05:48):
I was in fourth grade?

Speaker 1 (05:49):
Good Lord? Okay. What color was Bailey's first bicycle? Mam Miranda.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
I don't remember, but I'll say red.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
Oh I said purple. I have no idea either. I
don't remember either. I wasn't a huge bicyclist. Oh. Okay, yeah,
I understand them.

Speaker 3 (06:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
And what was Bailey's favorite class in school? Ronda?

Speaker 2 (06:11):
What not? Man?

Speaker 1 (06:13):
Nope?

Speaker 2 (06:14):
I would say English?

Speaker 4 (06:15):
Yes? English?

Speaker 1 (06:16):
Was it English?

Speaker 4 (06:16):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (06:17):
Pretty good. Okay. Now you've each got like a few
seconds to say something nice to your mom for Mother's Day. Bailey,
you go first, Okay, Mama.

Speaker 4 (06:23):
During my whole toilet debacle, getting to talk to you
every day on the phone has been really lovely because
it's been really hard dealing with it, and also being
on the in the church choir this whole season has
been really great because I love to get to snuggle
you during church and I.

Speaker 1 (06:39):
Love you so much. Ah, you gotta get a little
emotional during that. I just love my mama. I know
you do. Okay, Cindy, here is Jenny with a little
message for you for Mother's Day. Mother.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
You're the hardest working human I know, and I really
equate most of the things that I do in life
from learning from you and having you as such an
amazing role model growing up. And now that I am
a single lady just like you again, I still look
to you as like a mentor because you really helped
raise three girls on a single income, and you worked

(07:10):
your ass off and I saw you do it, so
I know that I can do it although I don't
have three girls.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
Happy Mother's Day, Cindy and Ronda.

Speaker 2 (07:21):
Thank you.
