Speaker 3 (00:30):
Good morning, Happy Saturday. Welcome to another edition of Invite
Health Radio. I'll be your host. My name is Jerry Hickey.
I'm a nutritional pharmacist. I've been doing this program for
a long long time. Invite Health creates very pure, very clean,
very solidly manufactured nutritional supplements that have proven benefits according

(00:52):
to human clinical trials, that are very safe, and we
know how much to give because a lot of these
ingredients have been used in human clinical trials. So let's
get on with it. I want to talk about krill oil.
There's three really good ways to get your fish oils.
One is eating fish, two is taking fish oils, which

(01:12):
we have on special today, and three is taking krill oil,
which is exactly what I do, because krill has other
benefits and advantages above and beyond a fish oil supplement. Now,
don't get me wrong, I love fish oil supplements. I
think they're great. I just think krill is a step above.

(01:33):
So because I treat myself well and my family and
my friends, I want them to take krill oil. So
krill has a number of benefits. We're not going to
go into all of them because I only have about
a half an hour. I started off the program for
Invite this morning. Krill has benefits for the brain, and
krill has benefits for the heart. So for the heart,

(01:57):
krill dramatically lowers inflammation in the heart. Krill lowers triglycerides,
and krill also cleans up a fatty liver. By the way,
so let's talk about this. I have something tested every
year called hs CRP that stands for highly sensitive c
reactive protein. It's a proxy for inflammation in the heart.

(02:23):
So one is a normal figure. Mine is generally way
below one, like it might be zero point three five typically.
So if one is normal, I have less inflammation than typical.
If your HSCRP and your blood test it's from a
blood test is two. That signifies that you're actively clogging

(02:45):
the blood vessels in your heart. You're developing coronary heart disease,
which is very dangerous. And if your HSCRP is three
or more, that's downright dangerous. Not only are you blocking
the arteries in your heart, but the lockages are very
inflamed and they're prone to breaking off and causing a

(03:06):
stroke or a heart attack. So one thing Krill does
solidly better than fischioles. Now, fichios does it, but Krill
does it better. And this is exactly why I'm using
Krill is because it lowers inflammation in the heart and
in the arteries of the heart substantially better than anything else. Two,
it lowers triglycerides. Triglycerides are used for energy. But if

(03:31):
you have a big belly, if you eat a lot
of shitary foods, so a lot of carbohydrates, if you
drink a lot of alcohol, if you have pre diabetes
or diabetes, generally you have very high triglycerides and these
can damage your liver, inflame the heart, and also lead
to strokes. So your Stanton drug, like you're a lipitore,

(03:53):
your zokre. You know, simbastat and atobstat, et cetera. They
don't lower triglycerides. You need something else to lower triglyss rids.
So a good diet, exercise, and krill oil lower triglyss rides.
So that's another reason why I take krill. And because
the fish oils and krill help prevent you from help

(04:14):
prevent you from suffering from a fatal arrhythmia or sudden
cardiac death. So let's go into some of these studies.
So once again, you could do this by eating fish
three or four times a week, by taking fish oil capsules,
make sure their pharmaceutical quality and they're really clean and fresh,
or by taking krill, which is our krill is unbelievably fresh.

(04:35):
So this is the center for arrhythmia Prevention up in Boston.
It's in the journal Circulation, Arrhythmias and Electrophysiology. Circulation is
a general in the American Heart Association. Fish oils, such
as in krill, or such as in eating salmon, protect
us from lethal ventricular arrhythmias. Now, lethal ventricular arrhythmias kill

(04:58):
about seven thousand Americans every week. In fact, somebody just
died since the start of this show from a fatal
ventricular arrhythmia. That's how frequently it occurs, seven thousand Americans
a week. So what is that Your ventrical pumps oxygen
rich blood. It's left out of your heart at pumps

(05:18):
oxygen rich blood throughout the body. If you have a
ventricular arrhythmia where the ventricle is beating inappropriately, this can
block the flow of blood and you die. So that's
what a fatal ventricular arrhythmia is. And they're rather They
kill about three hundred and thirty thousand Americans each year
on average, sometimes more, sometimes less. So here's four separate

(05:43):
studies in Journal of the American Medical Association and in Circulation,
two studies in each. When you get en officials in
your blood, you have a significant, unbelievable up to fifty
percent reduction and your risk a sudden cardiac So once again,
sudden cardiac death kills about seven thousand Americans each week.

(06:06):
Having enough fish oils lowers your risk by fifty percent.
I would say it's really worth taking official supplement, eating fish,
or taking krill, or doing all three. Now, this is
the Journal Landset, which is the English version of the
New England Journal Medicine, but also the New England Journal Medicine,
and also the Journal in the American Medical Association, and

(06:27):
several studies. Fish oils actually reduce the risk of sudden
cardiac death by up to ninety percent in some people.
Up to ninety percent. So here's the journal Circulation and
a study of eleven three hundred and twenty four patients
after a heart attack. After a heart attack, taking fish

(06:48):
wills and having a high level officials and a blood
reduce the risk of sudden cardiac death by forty five percent.
Somebody with a heart attack is the person most likely
to have sudden cardiac death. So that's unbelievable. Now let's
talk about the brain. Let's talk about krill. Krill in
the brain because krill has edition. Oh wait, I have

(07:09):
to read this study first. I'm sorry I skipped over
of this. That's a new study published in the journal Stroke.
People with the highest level of fish oils have a
lower risk of having a stroke. It's conducted by researchers
from very high quality academic research institutions from Australia, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Japan.

(07:33):
The Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, England, Ireland, and the United States.
It's looking at twenty nine perspective studies analyze one one
hundred and eighty three thousand people. This is very important.
The incidence of stroke is increasing. But they found if
you had fish wels in the highest level officials, you

(07:56):
had a big reduction and your risk of having a
stroke reduction in risk are having a stroke. Strokes affect
someone in the US every forty seconds, so since the
start of this show, about ten Americans or twelve Americans
have already had a stroke since the start of this show.
So krill oil or fish oils or eating fish all

(08:19):
reduce your risk of sudden cardiac death, fatal ventricular arrhythmias,
and strokes. I'll take that, Okay, I will take that,
But what about the brain. First, let me give you
some info on what krill oil specifically and fish oils
change into in your brain. Eating fish or taking fish

(08:43):
oils or taking krill oil creates efoxins in your brain.
These block inflammatory components from damaging your brain cells, so
in essence, it's slowing down aging your brain. The ingredients
and krill also create plasmaalagins that coat your brain cells

(09:07):
and prevent them from being damaged, resolvings and protectings that
protect the brain from inflammation. These are all different things
protective prostac lands, and they also create in our brain
specialized pro resolving mediators. This is frontiers and aging neuroscience.
This strongly protects your brain from inflammation. They also create
something called P par gamma. So I'm just giving you

(09:29):
background scientific reasons why fisch olds protect your brain. They
create P part gammon in your brain. This blocks damage
to your brain cell. It slows aging your brain. But
they also do something else. They create in your brain
the cellular membrane of your brain cell. In other words,

(09:51):
your brain cell is in a housing called its membrane,
and the membrane is made up of fish oils, phosphatitl coling, phosphatitle, ethanolamine, phosphatylinocetol,
and phosphatyle serine. That's what your brain cell is made
out of. These are all in krill oil. They're not

(10:12):
all in fissils. The only thing in fischials is fish
oils EPA DHA. But in the krill well you also
have phosphattle colin, phosphatylinocetol, phosphatyle cerrien, phosphatatyle ethanolamine. This is
amazing because this creates protective coatings on your brain cell
and the housing of your brain cell and allows your

(10:33):
brain cells to function and allows your brain cell to
convert food into energy in the brain. But there's more
to it than that, because krill has something in it
called colin. Coline is nominally a B vitamin. Most Americans,
almost all Americans, are low and coaling. If coline can
get into your brain, it creates acetyl coline. So let

(10:55):
me tell you what acetyl coline is. Acetyl Colin is
a neurochemical, a neurotransmitter that you release to solve problems,
that you release to learn, but especially that you release
to remember, and that you release to repair the brain
to create more memory cells. So a style colin protects

(11:18):
the brain, improves memory and problem solving abilities. The problem
is acetyl coline declines with age. And the problem is
most forms of coline cannot readily get into your brain.
So in krill, there's a special kind of coline called
phosphatyle coling. Phosphatyitle coling easily gets into your brain and

(11:42):
creates a setyle coling. The acetyl coline allows you to
remember things. Because acetyal colin levels drop with age, it
gets harder to remember things. You get a little absent minded,
you get a little confused, to get a little forgetful.
This helps reverse that by restoring coling concentrations in the brain,

(12:03):
which the brain converts to acetyl cone. Now, the acetyl
coling also does something else. When you rest or when
you exercise, the acetyl coling creates brain derived neurotrophic factor
and nerve growth factor. So what's that all about. Well,
these create new memory cells. This is a really important concept.

(12:27):
With age, we create fewer and fewer new memory cells
every day. A young person can create like six hundred
new memory cells every day, but an older person far less.
If you could restore the creation of memory cells, you
create something called cognitive reserve, which is very important because
cognitive reserve is new memory cells that have not been

(12:49):
damaged by plaques like the plaque in Alzheimer's or a
plaque Parkinson or with depression. So when you take krill
and you get the phosphatyl coling into your brain and
you create a sea coaling. When you're doing a good walk,
or when you're exercising, or when you're sleeping at night,
you're releasing your settle, coaling and creating these nerve growth

(13:10):
factors that will create hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of
new memory cells that work. So even if you have
plaque in your brain, if you have enough cognitive reserve,
your brain will go on working. So here's like kind
of studies on that. This is approximately twenty two hundred
elderly people aged seventy to seventy four. Those with sufficient

(13:31):
coaling intake had better brain function, better cognitive function, better memory.
Another study found out a good intake of coaling reduced
your risk of dementia by twenty five percent on average.
Now seventy percent of all dementias are Alzheimer's type dementia.
So crill oil does two really well, three things really

(13:53):
that are very very important. It does more than that,
but we're touching the three major things. One, it gets
fat out of your liver. A lot of people have
faty Like if you have a big belly or pre
diabetes or diabetes, you have a fatty liver. So krill
gets fat out of a liver. Krill creates your brain
cells and makes them work better and helps give you
the nutrients your brain needs for memory. And krill like

(14:17):
fish swalls, and like eating fish, lowers your risk of
stroke and sudden cardiac death. This is all and creating
plaqu in the audies. So the Invite Krill has been
used in menum clinical trials. It's the real thing. It's
easy to swallow. You don't get fish purps. It's loaded
with very bioavailable fish walls and foster title calling. It's
a great supplement. I take it every morning. I take

(14:39):
two with my breakfast. Let's go to a break Cherry
Hickey Invite Health.

Okay, welcome back, Happy shoty onning Jerry Hickey for Invite Health.
My coach guard Jewelery Flittilla, has a party today. The
whole division as a party, so I'll be going to
that to shift and that's pretty cool. And tomorrow is
Cayl Harbor Day out here in Northport. I'll be marching

(16:29):
as your code as your promo code and get an
extra ten percent off any product, any invite product that
you buy. Okay, So Krill is the first product I
told you about. It's great for your brain. It's great
for your heart as low as your risk of stroke
and sudden cardiac death, and that's well good. It gets
fat out of your liver, and it's really good for
your memory. Now, the second product on special is biocircumin

(16:51):
five lox and biocurcumen is turmeric, but it's ninety five
percent active ingredients, you know, curcuminoid, and it's absorbed at
least ten times better than other curcumens. The five loxin
is Frankinson's and when it's high in something called appa,
it's great for joint pain. It's just great for joint pain.

(17:14):
So this review just came out. Now we know that
five loxin inhibits gene that breakdown your knee tissue, your
joint tissue, genes that stimulated inflammation that break down your
joint lied to aarthriatis. So this is the Journal Nutrients
it's the University of Canberra, which is in Australia and
it's in the oh. What was it, the Royal Melbourne
Institute of Technology, And they said, hey, listen, this five

(17:37):
loxin is proven. They did a meta analysis. They looked
at existing studies, existing human studies. Five lox in reduces
knee stiffness, five locks in strongly reduces knee pain, and
five locks in restores your ability to bend your knee.
Knee function we call that range of motion. When people
have barthritis, it's hard to bend the knee. So they

(18:00):
found that the five loxin is great for true pain
relief in uthread to sufferers. It's stronger than almost all
other pain relievers. But here's the thing. Biocurcumen and the
same review also work very well for knee pain. Now
I put them together. They both restored knee function, They

(18:20):
both improved your ability to bend your knee, your range
of fotion. They were both excellent for knee stiffness. They
were both excellent for knee pain. So why would I
mix these two together? Why don't I just use more
one than the other. Because they come at pain in
the knee from different directions. The biocurcum inhibits the COX

(18:42):
two pathway and the five loxin inhibits the five lapoxygenation pathway,
and this strongly reduces pain and inflammation. So here's the study.
This is using biocurcumen. Okay, pure biocurcumen. It's one hundred
percent natural, it's one hundred percent pure, twenty five percent
active constituents, and it's incredibly well absorbed. So if you

(19:04):
take one of our biocurcumen two fifty milligram, it equals
two thousand, five hundred milligram of regular kurcumen. So here
to comparing it to a powerful drug called diklo finac.
Diklho Finac is called an enzid an enz aid would
be like celebrates advil a leave. This one is super strong,

(19:30):
Okay diklofinac. The problem is it's also dangerous, So it's
one hundred and forty patients with arthritic needs biokurcumen versus diclofenac.
The biokercumen worked as well as this powerful drug, but
it lacked the drug's toxicity and it lacked the drug
side effects. None of the patients on biokurcumen had to

(19:53):
drop out of the study, but several patients under diclofenac
dropped out of study because they had like stomach pain,
intestinal pain. They were getting side effecttions. So the side
effects the toxicity of these drugs like advil, like diclofenac,
are ulcers, heart problems including strokes and heart failure and bleeding.

(20:19):
Not to mention that they affect your hearing and lead
to ringing in the year is what we quote tonight
is and increase the risk of cataracts. Now, biocercumen was
also competed to thailand wall, but tiln was a lot
weaker than advil or celebrates. I remember there was this
review by Toughts University and also Johns Hopkins did a

(20:40):
review when you mixed bio curcument with five loxin, they
worked as well as advil, a leave celebrates, any of
these drugs without the side effection, without the toxicity. Now
to bio curcument five loxin were compared together, we're compared

(21:03):
to generic celebrates. Generic Celebrates is called selocoxib. And it's
important to mention in all these studies that they used
to write dosage to the drugs. So they used one
hundred milligrams of celi cooxib twice a day in the study,
and they used biocurricument five oxin or celebrs. Now, this
is published by the Ostearthritis Research Society. The biocurricument five

(21:29):
ox mixture actually outperformed celi cooxip, actually outperformed generic celebrates
and they were totally safe. They worked better for pain
and n function, range of motion, and they were equal
for stiffness. I mean that's saying an awful awful lot.

(21:54):
These supplements really have an impact and they're really safe.
So so far today, what's on special is biocur in
five lox and for your arthritic knees, and the krill
oil for your heart and your brain. Now I want
to add two other things. I hope I have time
to explain them, both elthionine and melotonin. The envite melatonin

(22:17):
is a super high quality melatonin. It's the real thing.
It's the right structure. You release melatonin when it's starting
to get dark at night. Age reduces melotonin release and
sodas like bright light and blue lights. So if you're
on your cell phone or watching a high definition TV
or on your computer before bed. This reduces your melotonin release.

(22:40):
So here's the problem. Melotonin is needed for pain. When
you release meltonin at night, it helps you manage daytime pain,
chronic pain. Melatonin repairs your bones. You need melotonin for
bone formation. Melatonin repair is a digestive tract. So if

(23:01):
you have reflux like gerd or an ulcer or something,
melatonin aids the healing of that. But melatonin is also
very important for your immune system. And since we're heading
towards flu season, it's important to have a well functioning
immune system. So there's actual receptor sites in your immune cells,
many of them for melatonin, and they won't work well

(23:23):
unless they have sufficient melatonin, So you need melatonin to
fight with. There is some evidence for cancer, but what
I really have to say is viral infections and we're
going into like coff and cold and covid and flu season,
so you might as well not get sick if you
can help it. So melatonin is one way to help that.

(23:47):
Not to mention that when you get a good night's sleep,
you build bone, you repair your body, you store memories,
and you grow new memory cells. So melatonin has an
effect on all these things. The second thing to pair
up with that or take a loan is called el theanine.
Althenine comes from a green tea plant. And what althenine does,

(24:08):
it's like a moment of zen. It calms you down.
It gets all the noise and all the craziness out
of your brain. So let's say you drive a car
in the city. Well, let's say you have to drive
your kids to soccer practice and the school, and you
still have a job and everything that can cause tremendous stress.

(24:29):
If you take one of our el theanine, it'll calm
you down without making you sleepy. You could still go
to work, you could still use a para tool, you
could still drive your car. It just relaxes you. It
improves alpha wave production, so you have this focused, sharp
brain that's clear of like stress and nervousness and all

(24:51):
that noise and craziness that goes on. Now, I use
it sometimes when I'm switching what I'm doing, like I'm
if I'm writing and an I have to do a
radio show, I'll take an althenine. It makes it easier
to switch over. When I was working all the time,
I had to take it before bedtime. Because I was
so stressed out from work. Now, the other thing about althenine,

(25:13):
so how much do you take if you're nervous in
a daytime? One capsule did me for the whole day.
Some people need to take one capsule two or three
times a day, like every four to six hours or something.
So it depends on a person. But it's not happen
for me. It doesn't make you drowsy, and you don't
need any more than you already take it. It's not

(25:34):
like you have to take more and more as time
goes on. It's not like that. It's not like valuum
da azepam where you need more and more to go
to sleep or relax. So you take one of our althenine.
It calms you down. But if you want help sleeping,
you might have to take two or three. Like if
you're really nervous at night and your brain won't stop
and you're all upset and depressed and anxious, and we'll

(25:56):
take two or three. It's unbelievable. It really worked. If
you have to wake up, it's no problem. You won't
have any kind of hangover sleepy kind of effect. So
when you need to wake up, you can wake up
with Althenian it's not a problem whatsoever. So here's what's
on spress and I'll do a quick review. Krill oil
the envy krill oil has been used in many human

(26:17):
clinical trials. Are to publish the medical Journalskrill oil reduces
inflammation in the heart. It lowers it's called HSCRP. HSCRP
when elevated clocks the arteries of the heart and also
leads to strokes and heart attacks because it causes plaqu
vulnerability where the plaque can break off from curse blockages. Now,
it also lowers your risk of arrhythmias even after a

(26:41):
heart attack. According to the research, arrhythmias can be fatal,
so lowers your risk is sudden cardiac death dramatically. Like
I said before, there is about seven thousand Americans per
week at die of sudden cardiac death did ventricular arrhythmius.
So it lowers that risk pretty strongly. Now, it also
is great for your brain because it creates the outside

(27:03):
of your brain cell to cellular membrane. It creates all
these things in the brain. It's changed all these things
that protect the brain from inflammation and damage. It slows
edging in the brain, and it's used to create a
seedyle colon because Kriyllo has phospho title coling. It's used
to create a seedle coling something that decreases with age
that you need from memory focus, problem solving, and to

(27:25):
create new memory cells when you exercise it and go
to sleep at night. So krill is great for the brain,
it's great for the heart. The second thing is biocurcumin
five loxin, which is very safe to use daily for
your arthritis pain. It's very safe to use daily for
your arthritis pain, and it's also lacking the toxicity and
the side effects of the drugs. Then I added melatonin.

(27:46):
Melatonin is needed for healing, it's needed for building bone,
it's needed for the immune system. It's needed to control
chronic daily pain. And I added althenine that comes out
of green tea plant. Don't forget when you all these things,
you buy one bottle, it suggested retail, you get the

Speaker 4 (29:46):
Hello and welcome to Invite Health Radio. I am doctor
Amanda Williams, Chief Science Officer at Invite Health, and happy
Saturday morning to everyone. I have many things that I
would like to discuss with you today, starting off with ragweed.
I have been checking the pollen counts there in New
York and I see that they are on the rise.

(30:09):
And it's that time of the year, as we are
transitioning out of summer and into fall, that ragweed becomes problematic.
I fully understand this because I too was affected by
ragweed for so many years living in Michigan and never failed.
Every September I would be kind of just a mess,

(30:32):
carrying around my box of Kleenex and sneezing and have
the runny eyes and blowing my nose. Just oh, I
do not miss that. I don't deal with ragweed here
in Florida. I know here in Florida, many people deal
with different tree pollen and grass pollen allergies, but certainly
throughout the Midwest and the Northeast, we know that ragweed

(30:54):
season is fully upon you. So I want to give
you some solutions that you can turn too, because anyone
who has dealt with seasonal allergies knows that the common
way of kind of addressing this can lead down a
path of kind of just more or less blunting the symptoms,

(31:15):
never getting full resolve of those. And we know that
there's many different factors that we need to address. We
need to look at our immune system and why is
our immune system being overly sensitive to a particular you know,
grass or tree pollen or weed pollen in the case
of ragweed, what's our diet like it is our diet

(31:36):
playing a role into this? And then if you're taking
the traditional over the counter medications, you know that those
come with their own laundry list of side effects. And
I mean most folks who have tried using some type
of over the counter anahistamines see the warning on there.
You know, don't operate heavy machinery while taking this. You know,

(31:58):
they have a tendency to really give you kind of
a groggy effect. And then of course there's the prescription
medications that you can seek out as well. But what
if we actually just go to the root of the problem.
What if we start to work on our diet and
we work on getting our microbiome, getting the bacterial, natural, happy,

(32:19):
healthy bacterial environment in our gut to start to create
a much higher level of protection for us. This is
when we turn to formulations such as the probiotic HX.
We have our probiotic immune as well. You can take
the two in combination. We certainly have so many testimonials
on probatic HX and the success that that has brought

(32:41):
to folks who deal with seasonal allergies. Jerry Hickey being
one of those testimonials. Jerry said, as soon as he
formulated that product and started using it, he could see
a noticeable difference in his seasonal allergies. So you can
take the probotic HX along with the probiotic AI immune.
So the difference between the two is the proatic HX

(33:04):
immune has some added vitamin D and zinc into that,
so it's giving you a little extra immune system support.
But certainly, if you're already using our probatic HX. You
can add in an additional capsule of that HX immune
to your routine. But this is a big area, especially
during September, October, and even into November, as temperatures oftentimes

(33:29):
are warm enough throughout November that people can be affected
by ragweed and other pollens as well. And it's not
just things that are outside. Remember, indoor air quality can
play a significant role too in exacerbating some of these
symptoms that people can experience during the fall season. So

(33:51):
these are always the times that you want to kind
of have that little self reflection, say, have I changed
my air filter in my furnace, because before you know it,
you'll be kicking on the old heat. So you always
want to make sure that your air filters are a
good quality. That's where you want to invest. Make sure
that you're using a good HEPA filter so that it

(34:16):
can filter through as many of those allergens and pollutants
as possible. For myself, I know that I have sensitivities
to mold, which clearly went way off the rails many
years ago when I was working in a building and
my office actually was kind of overrun with black mold

(34:39):
and I was getting sicker and sicker and sicker and
couldn't figure out why. And then sure enough, they ripped
out all the carpet and found out, Yeah, yes, sitting
you know underneath where I sat, so under my desk
was just full black mold and it created a whole

(35:00):
list of symptoms for me. So you know, at this
point in time, I was already into the world of nutraceuticals.
So once I recognized that this was coming from a mold,

(35:21):
I turned to black seed and I started to use
black seed extract. I was using probiotics, was making sure
I was getting vitamin C to help regulate histamine in
my system. So you've got all these different options for
you available at Invite Health. We have our probiotic line

(35:41):
which are incredibly comprehensive, so not just for thinking of
digestive health or general immune health, we can also look
at those probiotics as being a tool in our little
arsenal when it comes to targeting seasonal allergies, So always
keep that in mind. And then our black seed formulation,

(36:03):
this is going to be a go to for me
on anyone who comes to me via email or they
call me or I meet with them in person and
they say, hey, a man, I'm dealing with seasonal allergies.
Black seed is going to be on that list. So
we have this excellent formulation that Jerry put together many
years ago, and it has the black Kuman extract which

(36:27):
is nogellous sativa, along with rosemary extract and cordyceps mushroom,
so it's kind of this triple nutrient all in one capsule.
And what it's doing is the black seed really helps
to regulate the inflammatory response when you have that kind
of that tightness and the swelling within your sinuses, within

(36:49):
your airways. It helps to kind of lessen all of
that inflammation so you can breathe easier. Has the rosemary
extract in that which does a marvelous at regulating your
histamine response. So instead of having to go to the
store like your Dwyane reads and get your anti histamine
which has that warning of don't operate heavy machinery, you

(37:12):
can use rosemary extract and rosemary helps the body regulate
the histamine, so it lowers that histamine. And that's key
because your mass sells release histamine and that's a normal response.
But when we have an overabundance. Too much of that
is not a good thing. I always say you can
look at things in the body in kind of a

(37:33):
simple way. You either have too much of something or
not enough of something. So we have too much of something,
we want to tamper that down. If we don't have
enough of something, we want to build that up. And
you know, certainly there's you know, different reasons why we
can fall into one of those categories. You know, an
overexposure of something which creates a toxicity, that's one issue.

(37:56):
And then we can look at the other side of
that coin, and that's when we don't have enough, if
we're technically deficient or have an inadequate exposure to something.
So that's what we want to build upon that. Now,
natural immunosinescence can occur. That's a big technical word, but
what does that actually means. As we get older, our
immune system becomes less efficient, and we know that this happens.

(38:21):
This is why there's always a concern is you get
older that you don't want to catch a cold or
get the flu because it's harder for your body to
be able to fight that off. So that is due
to the technical term of immunosinessence. So how do we
blunt that, Well, we build up the things that we

(38:42):
know are lacking. So this is where your vitamin d's,
and your zinc and your vitamin C all become incredibly important.
Remember we have our new vitality plus vitamin C, so
that helps to build up that nice, good, steady state
of vitamin C in your system. Immune system relies on
that vitamin C. Now, another point to be made with

(39:06):
vitamin C is vitamin C is nature's most effective way
to combat histamine. So I just mentioned rosemary. Now, if
you're doing the black seed with rosemary plus that vitality
plus beadlet, you're in a win win situation because the
combination of that rosemary extract along with vitamin C do

(39:27):
an amazing job at keeping your histamine levels in check.
So important takeaway. Also important to think about this on
another front is food. You know, when you're looking at
foods to be eating to bolster up or strengthen up
your immune system, especially if we're dealing with seasonal allergies,

(39:48):
then we want to look at foods that have a
higher amount of vitamin C in them. But remember, don't
be turning to your orange juices. What you want to
do is actually eat an orange or a grapefruit, because
the whole fruit is a much better option for you
than just doing the juice or the juice minimal exposure

(40:11):
to the vitamin C, high exposure to sugar, so it's
just sugar water. Basically, if you're eating the fruit, you're
getting the fiber, so it slows that rate of sugar
spikes because of the fiber coming from the fruit naturally,
and you're getting a much greater amount of that vitamin
C coming from a natural source. So always keep that

(40:34):
in mind. Your foods do matter. And if you need
assistance on trying to figure out what you should be eating,
how you should be eating. Maybe you're finding struggles with
this and you're online late at night googling you know,
how to eat healthy, Please reach out to one of
our nutrition experts. They're there to help guide you through

(40:54):
not only selecting the right formulas within the Invite Health
product line for your specific needs, but to go beyond
that and give you guidance as to how you can
shop more efficiently when you're at a grocery store, how
you can build out easy to cook and prepare meals

(41:20):
that are healthy. Sometimes we convince ourselves that we don't
have time to eat healthy, but it is actually easier
than you think, and eating whole foods is a very
easy way to do this. So as I just mentioned,
eating the piece of fruit as opposed to having the
fruit juice, perfect way to look at that. So do

(41:43):
reach out to them if you have those questions, if
you have concerns, if you're not exactly sure if you're
on the right path, if you're dealing with seasonal allergies
and you're listening to me this morning and you say, yeah,
that sounds like me. I'm you know, sneezing and you know,
rubbing my eyes. And usually what I do is I
go off to the pharmacy and I get my over

(42:06):
the counter stuff and it makes me feel groggy, and
maybe it overly dries me out. Then that's an annoyance.
So that was always my case in Michigan. So you know,
I would be so miserable because my nose would be running.
And I remember it was always in the fall. And
that's when I played tennis, especially all through high school
and in college, and the first couple of weeks of

(42:30):
the tennis season was just a kind of a mess
for me, because you know, I'd be like hitting the
ball at the same time I'm sneezing, my eye would
be you know, watering. It's just no fun whatsoever. So
what would I do? Of course, you know, I didn't
know better. So I was going off and I was
taking the over the counter anti hissed me. Well, they

(42:53):
did a great job at making my nose not run anymore,
but then it was too dry, and so you know,
you always have to look at those things. And at
the end of the day, I wasn't doing anything to
actually fix the underlying issue. Now I know better. You
have to build that immune system up. You have to

(43:14):
give your body the nutrients coming from the foods to
get good exposure to those vitamins and minerals to support
the immune system. And then you add in these formulations
such as that black seed extract that really can help
the body with a much more aggressive or targeted way

(43:37):
to control that immune system response. And then it has
that cordyceps mushroom. And so I mentioned that it has
the rosemary extract for the histamine. You have the black
seed to lessen the inflammation within the airways and within
the sinuses and then you get the benefit of courtyceps mushrooms.

(43:58):
So we know that mushrooms are no is immuno modulatory nutrients,
So what does that mean. Means it's helping your immune
system modulate to the needs. And mushrooms also can naturally
contain vitamin D, so it's the plant based form of
vitamin D called ergo calcifhral. So through taking the cordyceps

(44:23):
mushroom extract partnered with that rosemary and the black seed,
you're really getting this triple effect for targeting those seasonal allergies.
And I've had such great success with individuals who have
had decades worth of you know, struggles with seasonal allergies,

(44:45):
and we start working on this with probiotic HX, maybe
adding in that HX immune the black seed extract, and
then many times I'll also add in an acetyl system
is such a power antioxidant has so many different utilizations,
not just for the immune system and for detoxification of

(45:09):
the liver. So if we're dealing with you know, conditions
like fatty liver for example, but also the cardiovascular protective
properties that nictyl cysteine has. I think I've mentioned this
study before on this program for individuals that actually had
heart attacks and survive luckily, but the amount of damage

(45:31):
done to the heart muscle and when they gave them
nictyl cystine, they could see resolution of that heart tissue.
So we know that nictyl cysting is a powerhouse of
an antioxidant and so many different uses for it. But
it's one of those products that I turned to so

(45:51):
frequently when people are dealing with seasonal allergies. So I
do need to squeeze in a quick break when I
get back. I have a lot more ground that I'd
like to cover on the impact of seasonal allergies, things
that we can be turning to, and then of course
stepping outside of that and really looking at other nutrients

(46:15):
that can help our body with the regulation of stress
and controlling inflammation. So I have a lot on tap
for you today, so stick around. I will be right
back just after this. Listening to this radio show makes

scrolling out looking at you know how it looks over
the next few days. Therefore, you doesn't appear like it
gets much better. So if you are listening and you

(48:49):
deal with the old hay fever, or if you know

give us a call. We're happy to patch you through.
So before the break, I had mentioned NAC and how
an acetyl cysteine is very powerful antioxidant. We know it's
a it's a modified version of the amino acid cystin,

(50:19):
and it's very important for allowing the body to generate
up more glutathione. But we also know that it plays
a role in gene regulation. It's very involved with our
immune defenses and certainly has been studied and shown to
be highly effective in fighting off different viruses and bacteria.

(50:43):
And it's just a really nice supplement to add in
during the fall and as we transition through fall and
into winter. It's a nice add on product to put
into your daily routine, even if your taking one a day,
so you know, say you take one every morning after

(51:04):
breakfast or one every evening. For those who have any
type of post nasal drip too. NAC can become your
best friend. I cannot tell you how many folks I
have worked with who they say, I don't know a man,
I've changed different things in my diet, and but I
get up every morning and I'm just hacky and just
I don't know what what the problem is. You know,

(51:24):
I thought maybe it was dairy, and let me tell you,
usually it is. But you know, for some folks it
could be you know, more of like a gluten sensitivity,
not a you know, true gluten intolerance like in Celiac disease,
but maybe a sensitivity that drives up some of the
the inflammation and creates, you know, a higher amount of

(51:45):
mucus production. But in any event, we know that NAC
does a great job because what it does helps to
thin out that mucus. So if you're dealing with you know,
mucus with the sinuses and into the airways, NAC is
certainly a go to. This is why you'll see palmonologists

(52:05):
prescribe NAC to their patients who are dealing with conditions
like COPD. So that's just how powerful and effective NAC is.
But I had mentioned the study that was done over
in Europe many years ago and was published in the
European Journal of Cardiology. They were looking at the use

(52:28):
of NAC in individuals who had heart attacks and seeing
the significant amount of benefit that NAC actually made in
those individuals in protecting the you know, any further damage
done to the heart muscle, but in actually reversing the
existing damage that was brought on by the heart attack itself.

(52:52):
So we know that ncetyl systein has also been shown
to be you know, highly effective for you know, different
stressed sorders, o c D addictions. So across the board
you can find the many different ways that NAC can
be very helpful. So you know, maybe you're listening and

(53:14):
you say, yeah, you know what, I know, I have
some problems going on with PTSD or have you know
O c D. An AC can be your friend. So
I definitely encourage you during the the fall in the

(53:35):
winter is to start adding at least one capsule of
n acetyl systein into your routine. Certainly, we've seen studies
conducted even in the setting like Parkinson's disease with n
acetyl cysteine and many conditions that are kind of in

(54:00):
that spectrum of the unknown, like autism as an example.
You know, what is the true causative reason of autism?
Is it environmental? Is it genetic? You know what is
the I look at it as more than like an
epigenetics environmentally caused change. Is that happen within the genes,

(54:26):
So not like a true gene mutation, but over time,
our genes could be affected through the environment to which
we live in, whether that be you know, you know,
pollutions that we're exposed to, or things you know, that
we're taking in to our system. And certainly an acetyl
systein has been shown to be actually quite helpful in

(54:48):
those different settings in those cases of autism. Stanford University
many years ago started looking into this and it's uh,
you know, quite impressive what they what they found out.
So so NAC, you know, even thinking outside of that
box of seasonal allergies, certainly there's many different benefits that

(55:09):
go along with that. I said, for many folks, they'll
turn to NAC if there's concerns with fatty liver disease,
non alcoholic fatty liver disease, or if you're on statin
medication for cholesterol and your doctor starts to test and
see that your liver enzymes are going up. You know
NAC because we know that ncetyl system can help the

(55:30):
body create additional amounts of glutathione, and that is incredibly
important because we know gluethione is one of the main
indigeness or man made made withinside of the body antioxidants
and it serves a significant purpose and a significant role
for us. So this is why you know NAC definitely

(55:55):
a product that I would I would look to and say,
if you who are struggling with you know, whether it's
a mood disorder, whether you have a history of chronic
viral infections, if you have a history of H. Pylori,
goodness gracious. And this is what's interesting with the Parkinson's

(56:16):
connection to that there's such a strong link between past H.
Pylori infection and exposure, which is a bacterial infection that
occurs within the stomach, which is the causative reason for
peptic ulcers and the main causative reason for stomach cancers.
So there's now also a very strong link between Parkinson's

(56:43):
disease and H. Pylori. So this is why I found
that study that they started to do in patients with
Parkinson's giving them an AC really quite fascinating. So an
acetyl system I cannot say enough about that. I always
advise take it after you've had some food. NAC is

(57:04):
very powerful. If you take it on empty stomach, it
may create some irritation. You never want that to happen.
So it's just kind of a rule of thumb. Take
it after you've had a meal. That's you know, my
my word to the wise. I say the same thing
with you know, multi vitamins. Some people are a little

(57:25):
bit more sensitive to to taking a multi vitamin. So
taking your multi after you've had you know, a small
bit of food in the morning, or you know, if
you take your multi later in the day, that's fine too,
but you know, after you've had a little bit of
food into your system. Certainly, if you're taking zinc as
a standalone, you know, zinc by itself, you always want

(57:47):
to take that after you have a little food in
your system to avoid any type of GI upset. So
back to this world of seasonal allergies, We've got got
a routine. Now we can take our probiotic HX capsule.
If you're dealing with seasonal allergies. I would take probatic
HX in the evening. I would take the probiotic HX

(58:11):
immune in the morning with breakfast, so I'd get that
extra zinc vitamin D on board to carry you through
the day, and then at night take your probiotic HX.
Take your black seed. If you're dealing with a high
amount of sneezing, running nose itchyis take two capsules twice

(58:36):
a day at least for a few days of the
black seed with rosemary and cortesps. Then we can add
in our NAC. We can do one to two caps
of n acetyl systein per day. This is the time
of year two that we have to start forecasting higher
amounts of viral infections going around, so green TTX I

(58:59):
have that on special today. I always look at you know,
as we start to get into the cooler days, we
should start to prepare ourselves. We always want to be
proactive as opposed to reactive when it comes to our
immune defenses, and this is where green TTX can be
such a wonderful thing for you to have on hand.

(59:22):
The way I prefer to use this formula is to
take two full droppers of the green TTX and I
put that in to roughly about six ounces of water.
You can do it based off of your own taste
and you can warm that up. It's not going to
somehow degrade the eg CG content in that. That's the

(59:45):
epigallo catechin gay light. That's the claim to fame of
green Tea. That's the powerful antioxidants contained in that. The
reason why you want to start using your green TTX
now is to avoid problems later. And what do I
mean by that, Say you're out and about, you're on
the subway, you're just around a lot of folks. Maybe
it's in your office building. Someone's going to start coming

(01:00:07):
in with the call and the next thing you know,
you're going to have the cough. So if we're taking
our green Tea TX and we're sipping on that every day,
what that does is it puts us layer of protection.
It coats the throat. And think about the way in
which most viruses are transmitted. They're respiratory, so we breathe
those in. To say, you breathe it in through your

(01:00:29):
nose and it goes down wear your throat. So if
we have that EGCG exposure because we're sipping on our
green TTX that gives us that layer of protection, and
we know this to be the case. I've talked about
the nursing Home study where they had half of the
individuals gargle with green tea and half did not, and

(01:00:52):
they found that the group of people who were gargling
with green tea daily had a much lower likelihood of
getting influenza compared to the group who was not given
any green tea. So point of the story is, get
your green tea TX start using it before it's full

(01:01:17):
blown cold and flu season. Also very helpful too for
seasonal allergies because once again we're getting this immune system
support and regulation that comes from those powerful catkins. And
it's such a nice clean formula. When you look at

(01:01:37):
some of the green teas that are out there, just
like a standard green tea, you know, you go to
the grocery store and you find green tea, they're not
always the cleanest. You know, there's a lot of concerns
with exposure to you know, green tea unless you're using
like an organic green tea like I'm talking about, if
you're gonna be steeping green tea, you're using green tea

(01:01:59):
bags organic is the way to go. Unfortunately, we know
that there's high levels of different chemicals in standard green
tea that you can find at the grocery store. And
you know, even now, the concerns with microplastics, I mean
microplastics goodness gracious are everywhere, and you know you can

(01:02:19):
find us in things like Green Tea that you find
at the grocery store. So the Invite Health Green Tea
TX has this you know, nice high amount of the
E G CG those powerful catkins. It's you know, standardized
out to ninety percent of those power catkins and you're

(01:02:41):
getting a really nice blend of those caatekins from the
Green Tea along with vitamin C. And this is a
product that you know, we we really take such pride
in because the way in which it is sourced and
the way in which which we take painstaking measures to

(01:03:05):
make sure it's organic. And you know, this is decaffeinated.
There's natural lemon in this, so there's nothing artificial. There's
no alcohol or any type of added fillers into this.
So it's incredibly clean and just a really nice product

(01:03:27):
to to have on board as we start to get
into to the big cold and flu season. You know,
we've got so many wonderful testimonials. You know, been using
this product for years. I believe that I benefit from
its daily use. You know, this is a product that
people will continue to seek out. Once they start to

(01:03:49):
use the green TTX, they will keep coming back, and
then they buy it for their friends, and they buy
it for their coworkers, and next thing you know, they
have generation of family members who are using the Green TTX.
So the taste is lovely. Like I said, you can
drink it, you know, room temperature, you can make it cold,

(01:04:10):
or you can have it heated. It's not going to
impact the potency or the effectiveness of those power caatekins.
So I'm looking at the clock, I realized I do
need to squeeze in a quick break. So remember green TTX,
black seed with rosemary and cortesps, that formulation, the probiotic HX,

(01:04:35):
the probiotic immune, the anisetyl cystein. All of these products

Don't wait, call right now eight hundred six three two

(01:06:25):
fever is upon you. I was actually just in Michigan
and luckily wasn't affected. And I think part of it
is because it's been really warm there, so it's not
like that full fall season has really kicked in. So
I was up in I say northern Michigan, but I

(01:06:47):
wasn't up in the up So people who know Michigan
know that northern Michigan means below the Macinobridge. So I
was south of there, not all the way up to
the Upper Peninsula. And then I was down in Detroit
for a few days and wow, that city it is.

(01:07:09):
It is back. It is lovely. I walked along the
river walk and looked across over to Windsor, Ontario, and
it's so so nice. And I must brag because I
love this about Detroit. All four of our sports teams.

(01:07:29):
You can walk from one place to the next, so
it's so neat, you know. I mean, you can be
at Ford Field and literally walk out of the doors
at Ford Field where the Lions play, and go right
to Comerica Park where the Tigers play, and then you
walk down another two blocks and you are at Little
Caesar's Arena where the Red Wings and the Pistons play.

(01:07:52):
So it is such a sports town. I love it.
I love the energy there. It was so much fun.
I was there, you know, right after the the Lions victory,
and then the next day the Tigers, which they lost.
But that's okay, But it's just it's really nice to
see the energy there in the city again. And if

(01:08:15):
you get a chance to go to Detroit, I encourage
you to do so. But I will tell you this.
Along my travels, my husband and I we drove. We
decided to make a little road trip out of it,
and it was really interesting because something just kept coming
up over and over along our travels. And it's something

(01:08:37):
that I used to say many years ago on the radio.
I used to always say, Okay, here's a little tip.
I had one show and every day I would give
people tips and tools for your health and wellness. So
one of my tips was always don't eat where you
get fuel for your car. So what does that mean, like,

(01:09:00):
don't go into the gas station, folks, and get your
food at the gas station. That's like already assigned, like
you're at the gas station to put gas in your car,
not for food for yourself. So that was always my
tip book. Anyways, now as you know, I'm driving through
all these different states, I continue to see these big

(01:09:21):
billboards for this one gas station that their slogan was,
you know, feed the car, feed the kids. And it's like,
oh my goodness, Like, no, this is this is not
what we should be doing. We should not be advertising
and making it an event. I mean, these gas stations,
I'm not gonna name which one it is, but they're

(01:09:43):
becoming quite popular and they're insane, like how huge they are.
It's like an event, like you go there and spend
like a day, you can shop and it's just wild.
But in any event, I'm like, that is completely the
opposite of what I'm always saying. I'm saying, don't eat
where you get your gas, and they're saying, hey, feed

(01:10:05):
your car and feed your kids. So we need to
get right on track your America. We need to get healthier,
we need to start making smarter choices, we need to
pay attention to the foods that we're eating and the
impact that that has on us. You know, I mean,
study after study continue to show these things. Study after study.

(01:10:25):
We know the way in which these ultra processed foods
and the lack of nutrients, how this is having a
detrimental effect on us. So so we definitely know these things.
So I want to talk about some of the other products.

(01:10:46):
One more thing about NAC. This was kind of an
interesting little fun fact on NAC NAC drops. Eye drops
have been used in many different clinical trials to show
their effectiveness for dry eyes and other conditions that people

(01:11:07):
have been impacted with. But there was a study that
was just conducted out of the European Society of Cataract
and Refractive Surgeons where they were looking at how dry
eyes is far more common than previously believed, and they
said that over half of adults in the US and

(01:11:27):
Europe experienced symptoms of dry eyes, yet most remain undiagnosed
for years and years. They said, you know, in this
large scale study that they did, it was called the
Nest Study, they revealed that sufferers often endured daily discomfort
that disrupts their work driving. And this caught my eye

(01:11:52):
because no pun intended, but it caught my eye because
then I started thinking about this and I was like, oh,
you know, I'm gonna be talking about And while yes,
NAC drops have always been shown to be effective, we
also know that oral NAC can be very helpful. So
taking your NAC can actually help with natural tear production.

(01:12:15):
And there was a really fascinating study that was done.
This was a double blind trial that was done all
the way back in the eighties on individuals who had
chojourns and we know with that what is the main
thing is dry eye, and they were looking at giving

(01:12:36):
these individuals and acetyl cysteine versus a placebo. So it
was just a four week trial. These are folks where
this was their you know, their key clinical feature, and
they they found that giving them an acetyl cystine actually
helped with significant improvement when it came to tear production.

(01:12:59):
They said, you know, this really could have a truth
therapeutic effect. Now what's interesting this was a study that
was done back in the eighties, Like why are we
not you know, telling people who have this condition, like, hey,
you know, it'd probably be advantagious if you were taking
NAC every day. But I'm telling you, I'm telling you

(01:13:19):
about this study, telling you one of those other side
benefits that goes along with, you know, supplementation. And you know,
maybe you're taking NAC for respiratory health. Maybe you have
a history of asthma, COPD, whatever be the case. Maybe
you have the concerns with patty liver, whatever your reason

(01:13:40):
for wanting to take an acetyl system, think of the
side benefits. So we know that you know, more than
half of Americans are dealing with to some degree, dry eye,
taking your NAC may prove to be quite helpful in
that setting. Now let us move on and let's talk

(01:14:00):
about respiratory HX, because sometimes I feel like I don't
give the you know, the respiratory HX and the mushrooms
HX enough love. So respiratory HX is a nice partner
to go along with the black seed formulation. The respiratory

(01:14:20):
HX has a blend of corsetin and there's nettle leaf
extract in this, there's mango stein, there's vitamin C. So
just based on all of those things, we know that
this is very targeted at histamine. So if histamine is
your problem and you are living on antihistamines, then adding

(01:14:44):
in that respiratory HX would be a very good choice,
especially for seasonal allergies. And once again, vitamin C best
regulator for histamine that we can turn to. Horsetin we
Know is a bioflavonoid that possesses those same properties as
vitamin C. Mango steam extract is just a power super

(01:15:06):
food extract, and there's so many different nutrients and vitamins
and minerals and immune system support that comes from that
mango steam extract. And then nettle we know does a
wonderful job at regulating inflammation, so wanted to mention that
product as well. It's a nice partner product to go
along with the black seed with rosemary and cordyceps. Now

(01:15:31):
mushrooms HX. This is always a fun one to talk
about because the mushroom blend that Jerry put together so
many years ago is what has become incredibly trendy to
today's times. So you keep hearing about mushrooms. You can't
walk basically into a Whole Foods and many other grocery

(01:15:52):
stores without seeing some type of mushroom tea or mushroom.
This mushroom that mushrooms have become very trendy and rightfully
so we know that they're very powerful immuno modulatory nutrients.
You know. We know mushrooms have the ability to you know,
clean river systems. I mean, mushrooms can do so many
different things. But Jerry many years ago came up with

(01:16:14):
this eight mushroom blend and it is the power of
these eight mushrooms all working synergistically together to enhance the
immune defenses that really makes this such an impressive formulation.
And it's a nice product once again, kind of like

(01:16:34):
looking at NAC a nice add on product during the
fall in the winter, mushrooms HX is another one of
those products where you're adding that in and it's going
to help give the immune system that added support. Plus
you get the you know, the ergo calcipherols, you're getting
some of the vitamin D that goes along with the

(01:16:56):
mushrooms themselves. And we know that mushrooms of themselves have
their own active constituents and the variance between you know,
turkey tail and schaitaki and rachi, all the different mushrooms
that are contained in this Lion's main they all have
their own you know, active constituents. You know, Ergothionine is
one of the most probably well known of all of

(01:17:18):
the active constituents contained within these different mushrooms, and we
we certainly can see how they've been studied in the
setting of diabetes. At this point in time, you know
that they can work as you know, like a prebiotic.
So not just when you're eating whole food mushrooms. We
always think, you know, yes, adding mushrooms into our regular

(01:17:38):
diet very beneficial, but also when we're taking it in
the encapsulated form, we are going to be yielding many
of those same benefits, you know, so for boosting the
immune system and at the same time helping with the
regulation of so many other things, including the way in
which the body responds to inflammation as well as the

(01:18:00):
regulation of things like your blood sugar levels. So mushroom
HX really nice add on product to consider during this
time of year. And you know, taking that taking your
black seed which has the cordyceps mushroom in it, really

(01:18:21):
nice partnering of those two products as well. So you
see I'm kind of clipping through many of the different
offerings that we have that are really geared towards enhancing
the immune defenses, but they do so many other things.
So you know, if you're dealing with GI issues, mushrooms
HX would be a really nice product to be taking

(01:18:44):
because even thinking about the beta glucns that go along
with mushrooms, we know mushrooms are a natural source of
beta glucan. Beta glucan can do so many things when
it comes to healing and lowering inflammation within the GI tracks.
If someone's dealing with chronic gastritis, colitis, any of those,

(01:19:04):
you know, irritable bowel, then adding in mushrooms chex obviously,
anyone who has concerns with having any type of immuno
compromised system, maybe a past history of you know, different
viral infections, or you know whatever illnesses that you may
have dealt with in the past. Anyone with an autoimmune

(01:19:26):
condition as an example, you know, rheumatoid arthritis, then adding
in that mushroom chex certainly would be an advisable product
to add in. Do you need to take six of
them a day? No, One a day is usually sufficient,
but there may be times where taking two capsules of
that each day would be advisable. Once again, that's when

(01:19:49):
you want to talk to one of our nutritional experts
and they can give you that guidance. So what I'm

(01:21:37):
hundred six three two zero five seven to two and
welcome back to Invite Health Radio. I am doctor Amanda Williams.
I'm talking about different nutrients that you can turn to
if you are dealing with seasonal allergies or if you're
just looking to support your immune system, so many different options.
I'm running a little short on time, so I want
to cover the last two products for you, one of

(01:22:00):
which is inflammune. So that is our powerhouse Omega three blend.
It has green lip muscle from New Zealand along with
Perilla extract. So the perilla is providing you with an
omega three fatty acid, so it has a LA and
then your green lip muscle actually gives you three different
types of omega three, so you have EPA DHA plus eta,

(01:22:24):
which is really unique just to green lip muscle that
we source from New Zealand. So when you're taking this product,
you're actually getting four different omega threes, which is really
great because it helps to lessen inflammation in the body.
So you're dealing with joint pain, knee pain, if you
got back pain, then this is a great product. But

(01:22:46):
also we know just from the clinical studies done on
both green lip muscle and that parilla extract is they
do a wonderful job at lowering inflammation within the respiratory track.
So if we have any type of airway tightness that
can happen because of seasonal allergies or asthma, chronic bronchitis,

(01:23:08):
adding in that infommune formulation is a nice product to
have on board. Now, the other product that I have
on special is phosphatitle sirene. Now this is always important
when we think about the body's stress response. Phosphatityle seirin
of course great for our brain and for that brain

(01:23:29):
connectivity for keeping us nice and sharp. We need to
have that to maintain the structure of our brain cells.
It's part of the makeup of those brain cells. But
it also does a really fine job at allowing the
body to regulate stress. And we know that stress is
closely affiliated or linked to a weakening of our immune defenses.

(01:23:54):
So this is why I like to add phosphatitle seine
into this mix when it comes to immune systems support,
because if we can better regulate our stress, we in
turn strengthen our immune defenses. So and at the same time,
you're gonna feel sharper because of course you're taking your
phosphatitle searing supporting your liver, which is helping with detoxification.

(01:24:18):
So it's a win win across the board. Best way
to use that phospha title searing is to take two
capsules of that every morning with your breakfast, and it
really can help to offset daily stressors and give that
immune system that added support that you need as we
are turning that corner out of summer and getting into

(01:24:41):
the real heart of fall, but it's also the start
of cold and flu season, So anything we can do
to better equip ourselves for that we should be doing so.
