(00:20):
ready for tomorrow's nutritional science today righthere, right now, Happy Saturday,
everybody. Welcome to another edition ofInvite Health Radio. I'm going to be
your host. My name is JerryHicky. I'm a nutritional pharmacist and it's
always an honor and a privilege tobe speaking with you early on the Saturday
mornings. We're going to talk aboutnutrition. And it's a good day for

(00:41):
it, you know, springs hereReally it's kind of here St Patrick's Day,
Sat Patrick's Day. That's a niceday for me. I went to
a Celtic festal last week, soI did my Saint Patrick's Day thing already.
But I'm going to a party tonight. But what's really good is we're
having a bogo. Bogo means youbuy one, you get one free,

(01:03):
so Invite lowered every price. Idon't know about six months ago. I
didn't write it down, but it'sabout six months ago. And now it's
even lower because if you buy oneit suggested retail, you get the second
bottle of the same supplement for free. For all the supplements. It starts
this morning. It starts right now, so get on board. We have

(01:25):
some very good supplements. I'm goingto ask you kind of a crazy question,
would you rather never need a cardiologist? Well, I mean, cardiologists
are amazing doctors. They know somuch they keep people alive. But it
would be nice not to need one. In other words, maintain your heart

(01:48):
health, you know, And yeah, you know certain things to do.
Get enough sleep, get your exercise, eat your vegetables and your nuts and
seeds and beans and things like that, fresh fruits. But fish or fish
oils or krill oil will keep yourheart really healthy. It'll really help maintain
the healthier heart. So with fishoils or with krill oil, or with

(02:14):
eating fish. But don't fry it. When you fry it, you kind
of ruin it. You take goodthings and you tournament to bad things.
So you know, broil it orbake it with fish. When you have
enough fish oils in your blood, and you can actually measure it. They
take a blood test and they lookat something called the Omega three index.
And if you have an Omega threeindex over eight, that means there's enough

(02:36):
fish oils in your blood. Fewerheart attacks. I mean, there's a
lot of data. Fewer heart attacks. Who wants a heart attack? Okay,
fewer heart attacks, fewer cases ofarrhythmias, and even calming down arrhythmias.
You know, arrhythmias is one ofthe heart is beating weirdly inappropriately,

(02:57):
and that could throw off a bloodclot or it could stop beating. And
this is the next one, andthis is right now, This one thing
it makes it worth eating fish ortaking crill oil, or taking fish oils.
I take crow oil, but anyone of those three is great.
Fish oils, crill oil, oreating fish right, Because there's fewer heart
seizures. Almost four hundred thousand Americanseach year have a heart seizure where the

(03:22):
heart suddenly stops beating. But here'sthe problem. In most of them,
it never starts up again, andyou wind up with something called sudden cardiac
death. So whose heart will startbeating again? Usually somebody who has some
kind of medical doctor right there. You know, maybe they're in an ambulance,
maybe they're in a hospital, maybethey're on a football field. Case

(03:45):
the doctor saved them, or thepeople in the ambulance, the EMT saved
them. But for most of us, not happening. So only about ten
percent of people who have heart seizuresrecover. So three hundred and fifty thousand
Americans have a heart seizure, aboutthree hundred and fifteen thousand will die.
So that's horrible. It's a horriblestatistic. And it's sudden. I mean

(04:09):
it's very sudden. So Fishels andmany, many, many studies helps prevent
sudden cardiac death. Now here's thething. They've done meta analyzes of these
studies. What does that mean. They took a whole bunch of these studies
from different journals, done by differentresearchers at different academic research institutions, and
different hospitals and different clinics, andthey bundled these studies together, which usually

(04:32):
weakens the results. When you bundlestudies together, it usually weakens the outcome.
And it's still remained. There wasa definite benefit for Fishel's keeping you
alive, reducing a number of heartattacks and helping prevent sudden cardiac death.
It cuts to risk of sudden cardiacdeath over twenty five percent, something like

(04:54):
thirty percent. That's amazing. Thatalone makes it worthwhile taking a fish oil,
but also less plaque and your arteries. For instance, there's a major
artery and the left side of yourheart. The left side of your heart
is what receives the oxygen rich bloodfrom your lungs and pumps the oxygen rich

(05:14):
blood all around the by to thebrain, into your organs and muscles,
et cetera. So that artery isamazing. That artery is so supreme for
your health. Right so it's calledthe widow maker because if it's clogged,
it's incredibly dangerous. When you dofish oils or if you take krill oil
or if you eat fish, there'sless plaque and your widow maker artery.

(05:35):
That's a real bonus because the fishoils help reduce inflammation and the blood vessels.
When you reduce inflammation, you reducethe ability of the cholesterol to clog
the arteries and close heartening of thearteries. Arterious chlorosis, athoschlorosis et cetera.
That is a bonus brain health.Fish oils, krill oil. Eating

(05:57):
fish, they keep your brolls, your brain cells plastic. They improved neuroplasticity,
the ability to learn, the abilityto remember. But they also keep
the membranes young and supple. Themembranes of the brain cell can harden with
age, and the FIS shows keepthem elastic. So here's a recent study.

(06:17):
This is a very interesting study. It's done three different Boston hospitals.
A little over three hundred and sixtypeople who had a heart attack and they
were admitted to one of these threeBoston hospitals. It's in the International Journal
of Cardiology and it's the University ofSouth Dakota that led to study. They
have the Sandford School of Medicine, and they took three hundred and sixty people

(06:39):
who had heart attacks and they gavethem fish oil supplements for six months after
the heart attack, and they lookedat their blood and saw who did the
fish walls really increase in the blood. And they found that in the people
who took fish wails where the bloodlevel officials really climbed. It really got
rich in fish oils. Way fewerheart attacks over the next six years,

(07:01):
way fewer heart attacks, way fewerrhythmias. I mean, it was literally
protecting these people from drastic outcomes. So they only took the ficials for six
months. So imagine if it's likeme and you take it every day.
So if the amount of ficials intheir blood jumped dramatically, it really made
a big difference. So let's talkabout the brain very quickly. Your brain

(07:25):
is about sixty percent fat, andthat fat does a whole bunch of things.
So you don't want that fat comingfrom butter and margarine. You want
that fat coming from healthy oils likefish wails. They're the healthiest oils for
the brain. Now, when youget krill, it's actually a bonus because
there's other constituents in krill that aregreat for your brain. For instance,

(07:45):
krill has phosphatidyle coaling. Coaling isa B vitamin that if you could get
it into your brain, it's responsiblefor your memory. It becomes a seedyl
coling and the thing is that acetylcoling levels drop with age, and very
few coalings get into the brain efficiently. A little bit will get in,

(08:05):
but not a lot. The colingthat's specific to krill oil loves the brain.
It gets into the brain, thebrain soaks it up and it gets
accetylated, It gets tagged with asmall group of carbons and hydrogens, and
it comes a setal colin and nowlets you learn things. And that lets
you remember things better, like whowrote the book you're reading, or what's

(08:26):
name of the restaurant you went tolast night, or you're in a hardware
store and you forgot what you hadto buy. If you have a setal
coling, it's easier to remember, yeah, things like that. But also
a sealal colon helps you solve issuesand gets started on things. It works
with other neurotransmitters, these biochemicals ofthe brain that are natural to the brain
to make the brain work properly. So when you do krill oil, you

(08:48):
can make the setl colin. Asetal colin levels drop in the brain of
all of us, even the smartestthe astrophysicist, But in people with sick
brains it drops much more dramatically, people with Alzheimer's or people with mild cognitive
impairment. It really has dropped. So you want to bring the acelo coling
back because it's also regenerative in thebrain. Acelo colin helps regenerate memory cells

(09:11):
so you can give birth the newmemory cells at night when you're sleeping.
So it's really important to have acelo colin in the brain, and kryl
oil gives you aceloiconing, but krilloil also makes plasmalagens. As you grow
older, the protective mechanisms in yourbrain decline. They really start the un
decline in your fifties. They're prettymuch gone by the time you're sixty five.

(09:31):
So I'm seventy, I know I'mlacking them, so I put them
back in the brain. One wayto do that is with krill oil because
krill oil has phosphatyle syrian phosphatyle, ethanolamine phosphatyl andnocetol phosphatyl colin and fish oils
and these things make a bullet proofvest on your brain cell. To shield

(09:52):
your brain cell, it's very importantin older people are antioxidant protective mechanisms have
declined, things like suproxidi tasting, gludethine proxidase to these things that would normally
protect a younger brain, they're prettymuch gone. And people who are about
sixty five, getting the krill makesup for it in an alternate fashion by
creating bulletproof vests that then coat yourbrain cell and prevent it from dying,

(10:18):
so you can retain brain function wellinto old age and be a superagent like
I'm going to be. Hopefully that'sreally what I want. Yeah, you
want to be one of those peoplethat's eighty five or ninety years old and
still cracking jokes, you know. But the krill also creates a couple of
things in the brain that shield thebrain. Besides plasmalogins and besides creating cetocholon,

(10:41):
and besides giving you fissuols, itcreates neuroprotectings and resolvins that shield the
brain from inflammation, which is importantbecause inflammation increases in an aging brain.
So the krill pushes way back onthat and helps maintain brain health. And
the krill can help with depression, anxiety, insomnia, memory logic, all

(11:05):
those cognitive skills like the ability tolearn and remember things, all of those
things. But it can also clickyour mood up a couple of levels.
If you're depressed and you don't dowell with antidepressants, so you'd rather not
try them or they're not effective enough. Add krill oil to the antidepressants,
and I'll tell you a couple ofother things to add later, like alcohol

(11:26):
with ala and bio Curricutman five blocks. It will really help you with your
depression. It really help click upyour mood. Okay, we have to
go to a break. We're havingour Spring Bogo, our spring sale.

Stay healthy, Okay, welcome back. I had a friend recently. I

(13:00):
was walking with him. We weretaking a walk. We were actually taking
a walk in the woods, andwe were on this four mile long trail.
We were about two miles into it, and he goes, you know,
Jerry A I was just diagnosed withdiabetes. And I won't say his
name. He's a dear friend ofmine. We palle around a lot,

(13:20):
and I said, you know,it happens. I mean, the guy's
in shape. He each right,It's just one of those things. So
he asked me, you know,he knows I know a lot about drugs,
and I know a lot about nutritionalsupplements and lifestyle factors. So we
discussed all the things like you know, taking a walk after each meal.

(13:43):
Like if you're diabetic, take awalk after each meal. It'll really help
lower your blood sugar. It'll reallyhelp dramatically. It'll help dramatically, and
I mean your blood sugar. Youcould drop twenty five percent just by taking
a walk after each meal. Takea ten minute walk after each meal.
It's amazing. And it's good foryour brain, it's good for your heart,

(14:05):
it's good for your muscles. Andthen he you know, I told
him, I said, listen,I'm going to tell you three supplements to
take right now. Our multi energypowder. It's a powdered multi because there's
enough magnesium in there, enough vitaminD, enough zinc, enough vitamin B
one, and enough chromium and vanadiumto really help you control your blood sugar.

(14:28):
You need vitamin B one for thetransket a lace pathway. You need
chromium to hold insulin onto the cell. You need magnesium to activate vitamin D
to control your blood sugar. Youneed the vitamin D. You need the
zinc because the zinc works in yourpancreas to control your blood sugar and your
pancreas releases hormones to control your bloodsugar level. So you need all those

(14:50):
things to control your blood sugar. So if you just take a scoop of
the multi energy powder every morning withyour breakfast or even on an empty stomach,
you mix it any liquid, ittaste delicious, that will help you
control your sugar. I said. And then we have some supplements that are
made for diabetics, specifically sea bedicsand gluco HX. They have things in

(15:13):
them that the human body uses tocontrol blood sugar, that it has to
have to control blood sugar. Butthey also have herbs in them that help
control blood sugar, like bitter melon. You know, you go into the
pantry of people from like Trinidad andTobago and they probably a bitter melon in
their in their pantry closet, andit's very good for controlling blood sugar.

(15:35):
So the sea betics in the glucoahx, you know, if you're pre diabetic,
those will help prevent your from goinginto diabetes. They'll help restore your
blood sugar back towards normal. Yeah, diet's important, you know, what
you eat, Exercise really important,it's getting sleep really important. But these
things help. But then there's ubiquenool. You know, most people know

(15:58):
you bickuen ool for the heart andfor energy, but it's also really good
for diabetics and diabetics you bit well, what is you bick one? All?
Well? You biq when all issomething that humans make. It's the
active form of coke ten. Andwhen you're young, you make a lot

(16:22):
of it, but certain things preventyou from making it aging Like I'm seventy.
I turn seventy in February. Whenyou're seventy years old, you're making
a lot less. You bick whenall than somebody who's fifty. So that
can affect your heart, that canaffect your endurance, That can affect your
eyes, your brain, your kidneys, your blood sugar. Because you bick
when all controls the ability to convertsugar into energy, because that's what the

(16:48):
body runs on. The body runson sugar. It converts sugar into energy.
So when you eat something like beansor peas or a sweet potato and
you're getting the sugar out of it, it's the ubiqu when all that it
takes that sugar and process it intoenergy, something called ATP. But ubiquinoal
also cleans out the inside of thecells. There's a party of cell where
aging takes place that few things workin to protect it. It's called the

(17:12):
mitochondria. It's the power planet. It's the batteries in your cell, and
you have to clean it out otherwiseit accelerates aging dramatically and you get really
fatigued and cranky, et cetera. So you like what my older brother,
and you take the ubiquen will andit cleans out this inner party of each

(17:32):
cell you made out of trallions ofcells. It cleans out the inner part
of the cells, and it keepsyou youthful, keeps you younger and more
energetic and more spry. And youreverything's working better. Your brains working better,
your heart's working better, your muscles, your kidneys, your liver,
everything's working better. But diabetics can'tcome just like older people like me,
a diabetic, even a thirty yearold diabetic, can't convert coke ten into

(17:55):
u biquen all, so it doesn'treally help them. So when you give
a diabetic ubiquin will, it helpsprotect the high energy parts of their body.
So what's a high energy organ inthe body. Your retina. Your
retina has the highest energy cells inthe body, and then the brain and
then the heart. Right, Sodo ubiqueno all protects the retina of diabetics.

(18:19):
You biq when all protects the heart, the hearts of high energy organ
you biqhene all protects the kidneys. The kidneys get shot in diabetics. But
in thirty two human clinical trials thirtytwo human clinical trials, you biquene all
helped control blood sugar and diabetics andpre diabetics it helped lower their HbA one

(18:40):
seed. HbA one c is somethingthey take in a blood test and it
gives you a three month panoramic viewof your average blood sugar. So if
the HbA one c is high, like over six, it's a really bad
sign. So ubiquine helps lower theHbA one sea of diabets. So it's
a really good supplement for diabet Right. Now, here's the next thing I

(19:03):
told you. You ubiquhenoal cleans upthe inside of the cell. It also
helps prevent your bad cholesterol from damagingthe heart. Bad cholesterol is not truly
bad cholesterol. It's ld O.It's really a delivery mechanism. It delivers
nutrients throughout the body and it chooseto make things in the body. It's

(19:25):
when the LDL is too much andit goes bad. It gets oxidized and
goes rancid. Then it inflames thearteries and you develop athosclerosis. Athosclerosis is
the technical name for hardening of thearteries. The biggest killer on planet Earth
because you can't get blood to yourheart muscle and you die coronary heart disease.

(19:45):
It's the biggest killer on the planet. So the ubiquenol helps prevent the
LDL from going bad. It helpsprevent the LDL from closing cording to the
artery, so that's really really good. But most people use ubiquenol. It's
the more active form of co qten because it cleans out yourselves and it

(20:07):
improves heart health. There's studies ofpeople with really sick hearts, something called
heart failure, where the heart hasgenerally stretched out and it's kind of flabby
and flaccid and it's not pumping enoughblood. So these people are it's hard
for them to breathe, they haveno energy. They're horrible. Okay,
when they give you, you bick. When all the people with damaged hearts,

(20:30):
it keeps them alive, fewer die, fewer wind up in the hospital,
fewer of them have heart attacks. It shows you how impressive ubiquenol is
now. When they did studies inSweden, they did a series of studies
in Sweden and Finland and Norway UHand they gave older people ubiquenol. A
they had more energy. A theyhad just more energy to go outside and

(20:52):
enjoy their life and have a goodtime. B. It was keeping them
out of hospital. C. Itwas keeping them alive. Fewer of them
were dying because of their heart dfewer heart attacks. Ubiqu with all helps
prevent heart attacks. So why wouldit do that. Ubiquin all strengthens your
heart in an aging heart or asick heart, you biq would all restore

(21:15):
some youth and some energy and somedynamism and some health to the heart.
It makes the heart have more staminabecause it allows the heart to use sugar
for energy. Again, an olderheart has trouble using sugar for energy,
and you get things like heart attacksand sudden cardiac death, and a rhythm

(21:37):
is like atrial fibrillation and heart failureand all these horrible things blood clots and
strokes, et cetera. So theheart has to beat a little bit over
one hundred thousand times a day formost hearts, so it needs a lot
of energy. So if it isand the highest level of ubiquhen all in
the body is in the heart, the highest concentration of ubiquene all body is

(22:00):
in the heart. But by thetime you're seventy five, the amount of
ubiqwenal in the heart could have droppedseventy percent, which is a disaster because
then the heart's always under stress. It's hard for it to do its job.
It's hard for it to be competentand pumping oxygen rich blood to the
brain and the muscles as needed rightand the organs and systems. I just
can't keep up with it with thebody's needs. So the heart gets stressed

(22:22):
and you can have a heart attackor heart failure. So when you give
you big onen all, it's restoringthe stamina and the strength and the energy
to the heart, and the hearthas enough energy to pump, so it
really helps keep you alive. Now, several things lower ubick When all aging

(22:42):
lowers you bickwen all. By thetime you're fifty, it's already dropping.
That accelerates in your sixties and it'spretty much a disaster in your seventies.
I take you bickwenoal every day. It's just one of those things. I'm
seventy years old. I have tohave it if I want to be strong.
So aging lowers ubiquin all. Diabeteslowers ubiquinal because the diabetic can't take

(23:06):
co q ten and change it intoubiquinal. That's called metabolized. They can't
metabolize it unto ubiquinal. But stantonsalso lower ubiquinal. So if you're on
a stettin and you're a diabetic andyou're older, you really need ubiquinl And
those people should take one hundred andtwenty milligrams with food, two of them

(23:26):
a day with food. A regularhealthy seventy year old might get away with
sixty milligrams once a day with food. But ubiquin aal also gets rid of
fatigue. There's been quite a fewstudies. Sometimes they've done what was that,
you know, the people in operationdoes it Storm. They had that

(23:48):
condition, a gulfer syndrome, peoplewith cull four syndrome. When they gave
them a ubiquenol and helped every symptomother than insomnia, but it helped fatigue,
confusion, depression, it helped allthe heart health. It was amazing.
And people with fibromyalergy, which isa body pain inflammation syndrome, ubiquin

(24:10):
all helps them. And people withdiabetes it helps them, and aging people
it helps them, and heart diseasepeople it helps them. So if you're
on a stanton, you need ubiquone all, If you diabetic, you
need ubique all. If you're older, you need ubique all. And we
have the ubiquenol that's made in Texas, the Great State of Texas where my

(24:32):
family's down in Dallas, actually aplace called grape Vine. If my family
is down in Texas, the otherHIFs in Pennsylvania, and of course I'm
in New York, so I'm alone. And they make the ubiquin in Texas,
and then we bottle it in NewJersey and we encapsulate it and bottle

(24:56):
it in these great capsules that areprotected from oxygen because oxygen condemns the ubiquinol.
But the capsules also improve the absorptionof the ubiquinel. These are from
vegetables to these capsules, so youcan't get a better ubiquinal and right now,
you get a big deal on ubikrool. So ubikrol is going to give
you more energy. You're going toenjoy your life more. You're going to

(25:17):
have more energy to go outside anddo things. And Ubiquinoal is going to
help protect your heart, make yourheart younger, and you're just going to
feel better on it. So it'snot special because we're having our Spring sale.
You buy a bottle of ubiquinal, you get the second bottle free.
You buy that suggested retail, youget the second bottle free. So it's
fifty percent of suggested retail And ofcourse with shipping, any order of thirty

(25:38):
five dollars or more, Invite coversthe shipping. So that's a big deal.
So that's the deal. I'm goingto go to a break. Jerry

Or go to invite health dot comInvite health, Get healthy, Stay
healthy. Okay, Happy Saturday morning, Jerry Hickey here for Invite Health them
of course to Marris Saint Patrick's day. So I have a great time.
Well, let's see, now we'rehaving our cell. I could talk about

(27:06):
anything. So where am I goingto go with this? Well, we're
in that time of the whatever. We're in that time where we elect a
new president and everybody gets angry andupset and twisted and obsessed with it.
So I'm going to tell you twosupplements that can help you with that,

(27:30):
Rodiola and althen. Now, Rodeolais a plant and it's great for burnout
syndrome. So if you have likethis job and it's crushing you and you're
all stressed out and you get aggravatedfor no reason and he can't sleep at
night, et cetera, start takingrodeola in the daytime and you'll see after

(27:52):
two or three days your energy isrestored. Now it's not like a stimulant.
It's not an upper brings back regular, good, wholesome core energy,
just regular, everyday wonderful energy. And it helps get rid of daytime stress.
So that's rodeola very safe. Now, we have it in our Envi

(28:15):
Performance Multi. It's one of thethings in the Envy Performance Multi that gives
you more endurance and energy and strength. It's really good. It even helps
the immune system. It helps thebody get rid of toxins. I mean,
it's a good herb. So whatabout at night. You don't want
to take rodeol at night? TakeL theanine. L. Theanine comes out
of the tea plant, the Camelliasinensu's plant, and EL theanine relaxes you.

(28:41):
It doesn't make you dopey, butit gets rid of the stress in
your brain, so you could sleep. So all that noise in your brain
and all that aggravation and all goesaway and you start thinking gentle thoughts and
wonderful thoughts, you know, maybesailing or walking on the beach. I
mean really, l theanine is likehaving a glass of wine on the beach

(29:02):
with a great friend without without thealcohol. It's without the alcohol. Elthanine
makes you feel fantastic and calm. You could take it in the daytime.
You could take althene in the daytimeand still drive your car. It's not
going to make you loopy or dopey. But if you take it at night
because you're stressed out and you can'tsleep, it'll help you sleep. So
those are two herbs that you know, we're going into electing and president.

(29:25):
Everybody gets upset. I do too. It's just the way it is lately.
What are you gonna do? Youknow, Uh, there's all kinds
of controversies. But you take therodeola in the daytime, you're not stressed
out, You're not beeping your hornat people, and you know, doing
crazy things, and you'll have moreenergy, you'll enjoy yourself a lot more.

(29:45):
And then you take the uh,you take the theenine at bedtime.
I mean, and like you know, I used to have when I worked
in Manhattan a lot as you geta lot of cab drivers and they come
in and they say, Jerry,I'm so stressed out. What do I
take? I said, take altheanine. You can still drive your cab.
You'll be fine, you won't beangry, you won't be stressed,
you won't be aggravated, you won'tbe nervous. I mean, it's just

(30:07):
amazing. It really is so energyand stress for the energy you can do
the invite performance multi It's just amazingbecause there's rodeola and suproxidtas mutation there and
all these wonderful things to enhance yourenergy, like methical balment. And then
at night, if you need it, take one or two elthianine, or
if you wake up prematurely, likeI fall asleep easily, but I have

(30:30):
this tendency to wake up at threein the morning and start thinking about things.
So if it's really hard for meto get back to sleep, I'll
take one or two elthionine. Andlater on when I want to wake up
like six or seven o'clock, Ihave no problem. It doesn't give you
any hangover. There's no loopy hangover. So we can do these wonderful things
with nutrition, and we're trained inthat. We have all these great people

(30:52):
working at an invite to help youwith your selection of nutrients. So you
know, you deal with a manystores or companies and you're not getting somebody
who really studied nutrition. You mightget somebody who read a book, but
books are biased. People who writebooks there's always a slant in the book.
You know, they're always pushing theenvelope to make the book sexier and

(31:14):
sell more books. The people atInvite actually went to school and earned their
degree, Like John Ajay. JohnAJ's fantastic. He went to school,
he earned his degree. He reallyknows nutrition. You call the guy like
that, you get a real goodopinion on what's going to help you.
I mean that makes a difference. That's why a lot of people love Invite.

(31:36):
They get they want to pick outa supplement and it's not some hack
who doesn't know what they're talking about. That lift weights, and because they
lift weights, they think they knownutrition. You don't know nutrition because you
lift weights. You know nutrition becauseyou went to school and study nutrition like
I did, or like John AJdid. So deal with Invite. We're
having our sale. It's a bogo. You buy one, you get one

(31:56):
free. These are super high qualitysupplements. They're really clean. Inspect them,
We inspect them, We inspect them, we test them. They're really
clean, they don't have intoxins inthem or anything. They're really safe,
and they really work, and wereally know how much to give you.
So that's why people love Invite. How we have these wonderful giving people who
know nutrition that will help you out. Now, let's say, uh,

(32:20):
you want to get rid of tenpounds of fat and you want to gain
ten pounds of muscle. There's actuallya supplement that does that. It's crazy,
right, but it's for people whoslow down their metabolism. Their metabolisms
slow down, sit they're gaining fat, they're losing muscle. You see this
in people in their forties and fifties. You get sluggish, you get belly

(32:42):
fat, you're losing your muscle onyour shoulders and arms, et cetera.
It's called alcohol with ala. Alcoholwith ala helped create energy and help place
the energy in the body so youcan function. So what happens because they
help you take calorie and burn itfor energy. Simply taking alcohol with ALA,

(33:04):
you could burn ten pounds of fatand gain ten pounds of muscle.
So for somebody who's in their fortiesand fifties, that's an unbelievable gift because
just the opposite you're losing the muscle, you're gaining a fat so that reverses
that tendency. Imagine taking a supplementevery day for brain energy and for your

(33:27):
mood and for your metabolism, andyou burn ten pounds of fat over like
six months, and you gain tenpounds of muscle. That's an unbelievable deal.
You got to look better in yourT shirt. But you go to
if you take alcohol with ALA,simply by taking it, you're less likely
to fall or break your hip becauseyou're likus also be stronger. But the
real reason to take alcohol with ALAis for the benefits for the brain because

(33:52):
it's super active in the brain. The brain creates carnotine out of protein peptide,
and then it shuns the carnatine tosomething called alcore a setyl helcrnitine,
and you acetyl al carnotine does awhole bundle of things in the brain.
It prevents apoptosis. What's the deathof brain cells? Alco keeps your brain

(34:15):
cells alive. Well, that's reallyimportant. If you got hitting ahead a
bunch of times, like a soccerplayer or a football player or a boxer.
That's really important as you grow olderbecause brain cells diet an accelerated rate
as you age. I know I'mseventy, so I take alcohol with ala
because I want to hold onto mybrain cells. The research shows that alcohol

(34:36):
with ala improves your memory. Youremember things better. Why because the brain
is working more effectively. It's moreefficient at using calories for energy because alcol
with ala restores metabolism. And anaging brain or a sluggish brain, the
brain uses sugar for energy, notfat, not protein. It uses sugar.

(34:57):
It uses fat and protein for otherthings, but for energy you use
it sugar. And with age orif you're diabetic, or if you're depressed,
it gets harder and harder to usethe sugar for energy in the brain,
and the brain starts to collapse onitself and your mood drops. You
get sour you get maybe anxious, you get depressed. So the alcohol with

(35:19):
Ala makes it easier once again foryour brain to use your for energy,
and it helps prevent the brain cellsfrom dying. So what comes out of
that your memory improves, because allof a sudden, the brain is more
efficient. You can remember things easier, your thinking ability is better, problem
solving improves, logic is coming back. Your mood clicks up many levels.

(35:42):
That's one of the supplements I helppeople. There are some people that take
antidepressant drugs like fluoxetine, and it'sstill not helping their depression. If you
add alcohol with ala to the drug, you add fiss shawls to the drug,
all of a sudden, the drugstarts to work. But even people
who won't take a drug, alot of people don't want to take a

(36:04):
drug, alcohol with ala will clickyour mood up. You'll have a much
better mood. You'll love your lifea lot more. It really is important.
It increases brain energy. It restoresbrain energy, It restores brain metabolism.
In older adults like me, orin diabetics, it restores brain energy,

(36:25):
but it increases physical energy also.I told you that, and patients
with Alzheimer's disease. Alcohol and ALAis so good for the brain that in
patients with Alzheimer's disease, the alcoholwith ALA slows the development and the progression
and the worsening of the disease. That's how good it is for the brain.

(36:45):
Even in people with Alzheimer's, itslows it down. It helps with
nerve pain. So if you havenerve pain from shingles, you know shingles
the chicken pox virus, or ifyou have nerve pain from diabetes, diabetic
polyneuropathy or powerful neuropathy, or ifyou have psiatica, alcohol with ALI will

(37:07):
help nerve pain. It's very goodfor nerve pain. It does help ringing
in the ears a little bit. It's hard to help ringing in the years.
The best thing for ringing in theyears generally is hearing age and retraining
the brain. They can they coulddo a feedback mechanism in the brain to
get rid of the uh the thenoise in the brain called sinaitis, and

(37:34):
it's hearing noise. When there's nonoise most of the time, it's it's
like a whistle. It could soundlike it could sound like like a hiss.
It could sound like like waves, but it's all the same thing.
It's phantom noise. It's not realnoise. So that's why it's worse at
night when you're laying in bed.Right, alcohol with ala, you do
that with with res veritul, that'swhat they're using, and and and the

(37:58):
Henry Ford Health System and a seriesof hospitals and clinics in Detroit. The
soldiers coming back from the Middle East. The number one injury was rigging in
the years. That was the numberone injury, you know, from the
rifles and the machine guns and thehand grenades and all that stuff. They
were giving them alcohol with ala andres veratul to treat the tonightis and it

(38:22):
was helping get rid of tonight's.So if you have ringing in the airs,
do the alcohol with Ala and therest verritual and talk to what about
nutritis. They'll guide you on howto use it. You don't have to
guess. These people are there foryou. You can walk in and meet
them, you can call them onthe phone. You could go on the
internet and talk with them over theinternet. So alcohol with Ala, I'm

(38:43):
older, I take it every day. I mean, it's just a very
very important supplement. Now I takea bunch of powders, especially after I
exercise. I know what I'm doing. I know what i'm doing. So
I'm not going to tackle that yet. We're going to go to a break

(39:04):
first, and then when I comeback, I'll tackle that. I'm going
to tell you what I take afterI exercise. Now, I exercise every
day because I'm either riding my bike, or I'm lifting weights, or I'm
playing pickle ball, or I'm hiking. I'm doing every day, I'm doing
something. There's not a day whereI'm not getting where I'm not challenging my
body physically. I just love it. I thrive on. I thrive on
kayaking and hiking and riding my bike. I just love it. Always been

(39:29):
like that. So when I comeback, I'm going to tell you what
I take after it that nourishes myentire body, reinvigorates my brain, my
muscles, my bones, my skin, my joints, everything everything. So
let's go to a break. Cheery, here, can you Invite health.

Bogo our spring sale. It's ahuge seale. You get great discounts.

(41:22):
These are really clean, high qualitysupplements. Most of these ingredients have been
used in human clinical trials. Weknow they're safe. We know how much
to give you, we know whatto expect as benefits. We know how
to use these supplements and they're reallysafe. So speak to our nutritionists and
nail down what you need currently foryour help. Because things change. Supplements

(41:43):
that were useful in your forties arestill useful, but unfortunately things change when
you're in your sixties and seventies. You kind of have to nip and tuck
what you're taking, you know,So that's important. So I do a
lot of exercise, and I takethis after I exercise, because when you
exercise, your muscle fibers open up. It's a little easier to get these

(42:07):
nutrients into the muscles, but theywork all over the body, it's not
just in the muscle. So thetruth of the matter is if I wasn't
exercising, I would just take themanyway anytime I wanted, once a day.
It's creatine monohydrate, active HX,and collagen. So let's start with
active HX. Active HX is hydroxymethylbutyrate. That's actually an abbreviation. Hydroxymethyl

(42:37):
butyrate is an abbreviation. It's alsoabbreviated HMB, but this is the research
level HMB. This is the HMBused in human clinical trials. For instance,
older people can lose muscle and strengthwithin two weeks. So if an
older person hurts their leg and they'restuck in bed for two weeks, they

(42:59):
lose muscle in st and it's veryhard to get that muscle and strength back,
very hard. So the active HXprevented those people from losing their muscle
and strength. So it was peoplewho were older that were in bed in
the hospital's type situation for two weeks, very very well controlled studies, double

(43:22):
blinded, placeiver controlled randomized human clinicaltrial and giving them the active HX ingredient
because that was the ingredient used inthe studies let them keep their muscle.
So what does active HX do.Active CHEX is better than protein for your
muscle. I'm not saying protein's bannedfor muscle, but active HX is more
direct. Active HX is better thanbranch chain amino acids bcaa few muscle.

(43:45):
It's the best thing you could takefor your muscle. The number one thing
you can take for your muscle isactivate checks. It's number one thing besides
good food and exercise and water.I mean, of course you need those.
It helps pre vent you from losingmuscle. It helps heal your muscle.

(44:06):
See, that's the thing. Andolder people are muscle the pathway like
the map Kine pathway for building muscleand repairing muscle. After a muscle injury,
it's not working, it's shattered. The activate check steps in and repays
your muscle. So activate checks inolder people especially, it's great for older
people, especially sedentary older people, older people that really don't do any like

(44:30):
weightlifting or tennis or anything. Ithelps repay your muscle, It helps strengthen
your muscle, it helps you gainmuscle, it helps you gain strength.
But what's really important here, you'renot losing muscle. See, it's not
like you're seventy years old and allof a sudden you're going to become a

(44:51):
bodybuilder. I mean, that's notreally happening. That's just not a good
expectation. You know, that's nota sincere expectation. But you don't want
to use the muscle. Okay, the active HX prevents you from losing the
muscle. Now. In a reviewof human clinical trials in twenty twenty two,

(45:12):
so very recent, HMB helped musclehealth in older adults and helped fix
their muscle, help rejuvenate their muscle, helped them keep their muscle. Then
there was another review and the Americanjournalok of Clinical Nutrition, very recent,
ten human clinical trials, same results. HMB, the active HX active HX,

(45:34):
it's the stuff used in these humanclinical trials increase the muscle size and
improve the muscle strength. But onceagain, what's important is you're not losing
muscle. See, we go throughthis atrocious situation of losing muscle. It
really starts after the age of thirtyfive. But you know, if you
lift weights or you're doing some kindof exercise, you prevent that from happening.

(45:55):
But once you hate your fifties,it gets really hard to prevent.
And in your sixties and seventies, you lose a lot of strength, you
lose a lot of muscle. It'sbad thing because then you could fall and
break your hip or hit your head, and terrible things happen when you hit
your head. I don't have totell you that I know of two men.
I don't know them directly, butmy friends know them. Okay,
I have a lot of friends.I know of two men that fell and

(46:21):
hit their head, and they diedas consequences from internal bleeding in their head.
So if you take the active HX, you maintain your leg muscles and
your core muscles, and it's lesslikely that you go to fall and hit
your head or break your hip.So that's really important. The active HX

(46:46):
improves the ability of exercise to burnfat and build muscle, form muscle,
and that's just the opposite of whathappens when you hit your sixties and seventies.
But there's also i evidence that HMBthe active HX helps reverse cognitive decline.

(47:07):
It helps prevent you from losing yourbrain. Now let's go to the
second ingredient. So I put inthat. I put in the active HX
the amount they sand the label.I put that in a shape. I
just water. So I have ashaker, the invite shaker. I put
the active HX in there. ThenI put the scoop of creatine in there.

(47:28):
So what does creatine do? Creatineis the one really good supplement that
came out of the bodybuilding world. Most of the stuff that came out of
the bodybuilding world is nonsense. Alot of it's nonsense. But creatine and
active HX are two things that cameout of the bodybuilding world that really means
something for health. They really meansomething. They're really safe, and they

(47:50):
really work. So when you useyour muscles, you use up something called
phospho creatine phosphor creatin. It allowsyou to generate energy so that you can
walk, so that you can climb, so that you can lift weight,
so that you can play tennis,so you can kayak, so you can
row a boat, so you canyou know, open up a jar.

(48:14):
I love when my wife hands methat tomato sauce jar and she can't open
it. She goes, can youopen it? And I go it just
pops right off and say, well, you're really my guy. That's nice.
We have a great relationship. Wedance in the kitchen, yeah,
and any lots of hugging and youknow, so at any event, creatine

(48:36):
restores the fospho creatine, so youhave stamina and endurance and energy. So
for instance, if you ride abike, you have more endurance and more
power in riding the bike, andyou're less likely to hurt yourself. See
that's an important thing. Creatine helpsprevent you from having a muscle injury.
That's what the research shows. Soit increases your exercise perfer ormance, whether

(49:00):
it's swimming, you swim better, riding a bike, playing pickleball, hitting
a golf ball, walking along thegreen, the fairway, and it also
helps prevent injuries, and it bringsthe muscle back faster. So creatine,
but creatine. This is the interestingthing about creatine. It gives the body

(49:24):
power, It gives the brain energy. There's few things that give your brain
energy. I've covered some of them. I covered the rodeola before Rodiola.
If you're stressed out, rodeola isgreat for stress and it brings back brain
energy. I spoke about alcohol withala gives your brain energy. The other
thing that gives your brain energy iscreatine monohydrate. It's great for brain energy.

(49:45):
And that's the thing. If you'resitting on the couch and saying,
I'm too tired to go see myfriends, it's because your brain is tired.
It's not because your body's tired.Your body's fine, your brain is
tired. The creatine gives your brainenergy. That's that's really worth taking it.
Right there, I have plenty ofbrain energy. I have it from

(50:05):
the moment I wake up to themoment I go to bed. I have
no problem with brain energy. Now. The third ingredient in my shake,
so I do the ACTIVATEHX for mymuscle endurance and my muscle strength and keeping
my muscle. I do the creatinefor endurance, and I'm preventing muscle energies.
But for brain energy, that's reallywhy I'm taking it. And then
I do collagen. I do oneof the invicollagens. We have two different

(50:30):
powders. They're both good. Thenumber two ingredient in your body is collagen.
Number one ingredient is water. Youknow, for your blood and your
brain fluids and all that, andyour spinal fluid and your intracellular fluid.
So the number one ingredient in thebody is water, but the number two
ingredient is collagen. It's not calcium, it's it's not fat, hopefully,

(50:55):
it's collagen. Collagen makes up lessthan forty percent of body, but it's
a really important forty percent because collagenis most of your skin, your nails,
your teeth, your bones. Thirtysix percent of your bone is collagen.
That's what the calcium attaches to.That's what the calcium attaches to.

(51:16):
If you don't have collagen, there'sno place for the calcium to go.
The vitamin D can't do anything becausethe calcium doesn't have a thing to attach
to. So when you take collagen, you build bone and you protect bone.
So if you want to build boneand you're older, you need collagen.
If you want your skin to beyoung and shiny, you know,

(51:38):
and not looking thin, collagen. If you want your nails to grow,
collagen, If you want your hairto behave collagen. But collagen also makes
you spine, and collagen makes youjoint cartilage. So when somebody comes up
with an arthritic near your hip,I want you on collagen. If somebody's

(51:59):
coming in with skin problems, Iwant you on collagen. If somebody's coming
in with bone problems, they're losingbone, I want you on collagen.
So I take collagen after I exercisebecause there's also some collagen in the muscle.
So after I exercise, the collagenis feeding my skin, hair nails,

(52:20):
my bones, my joints, myspine, my ligaments and tendons.
The creatine is giving my brain energyand rejuvenating my muscle. And the active
HX prevents me from losing muscle. So it's a whole body treatment when I
take these things. Okay, I'mjust about out of time. Other important

(52:43):
supplements, because you know we're havingthe spring seal, We're having our spring
cell rest virtual rest. Virtual restoescirculation to an aging brain. It's vaso
active, really important. Circulation toyour brain has dropped about ten to twenty
percent, depending on did you smoke, do you have diabetes, do you
have heart disease, or are youjust older and healthy. Even if you're

(53:05):
older and healthy, your brain isgetting teen percent less circulation. Rest verritual
brings it back. There's a lotof human clinical trials and when you bring
back to circulations of the brain. The brain is health happier, healthier,
sharper, quicker, more precise, more accurate. But the rest ritual also
protects the brain because there's an extracoding in the brain to keep bad things

(53:25):
out of a brain called the bloodbrain barrier. With age, it gets
leaky and bad things are getting intothe brain and infleming it and swelling it,
et cetera. The rest fviritual repairsthe blood brain barrier. See,
so there are things you could doto really like protect you, to really
make you better, to really getyou into aging in a healthy way.

(53:47):
That life is enjoyable. I'm seventyyears old. I enjoy my life now
as much as I did when Iwas in my thirties. I have a
very full life. I'm painting,I'm playing pickleball, I'm hiking, and
my friends at night we're going afterdinner. I'm having a great time.
These are the kind of things thatdo it. So I don't expect you

(54:08):
to know it. You can callup and speak to our nutritionists and say,
well, this is the time forme to get this advice because your
supplements are great and they're clean andthey work. Because they've been used in
new and clinical trials and they're reallypure, and they're really fresh, and
you know what you're doing. SoI could take advantage of the cell and
really treat myself to some health, really bring back my youth. So take

(54:30):
advantage of it. They're having toBongo seal you buy one, you get
