Speaker 2 (00:31):
Hello, and welcome to Invite Health Radio. I am doctor
Amanda Williams, chief Science Officer at Invite Health, here with
you today on this wonderful Saturday morning to talk about
energy and nutrients that support our cardiovascular system and our brain.
So I have some different products on special that I'm
(00:53):
going to cover in this first half hour before I
turn the microphone over to the wonderful Jerry Hickey at
eight o'clo. So, this morning, I want to talk about ubiquinol.
I want to talk about grape seed extract, how beneficial
both of these can be for helping to support blood
pressure as well as for brain health and the Purple's hax.
(01:15):
This is a really nice product to consider for overall
circulatory health. It's packed with all of those wonderful deep
dark blue, red, purple pigmented fruits and vegetables, so it's
a very powerful antioxidant. Helps to enhance the way in
which the blood makes its way around the body, including
(01:39):
into the brain, so it's a wonderful brain booster. It
has blueberry extract. We know blueberry has been studied extensively
for being able to enhance the cognitive function. So not
only does the blueberry extract seem to have quite an
affinity for targeting free radical and oxidative stress and neuroinflammation
(02:02):
and toxins in the brain, it just really does a
lovely job at helping to really protect the lining of
your blood vessels. So that's the endothelial cells, so the
purple's achex. I'm going to get into all of that,
but I do want to start with COQ ten. This
is such a critical molecule in the human body. And
(02:28):
I actually attended a webinar last week that was hosted
by our provider of our ubiquen al, which is Conica,
And you've heard myself as well as Jerry Hicky talk
about Conica and the reason why Invite Health uses the
conica ubiquenol. This is a registered trademark form. It's been
(02:49):
in over eighty five research studies. It is bioidentical to
what the body naturally makes. And when you're looking at
taking a powerful, high absorption form of ubiquinl, this hands
down is your best option. And so this is why
(03:11):
we make the coq ten ubiquinol at invite Health, because
this is what we're providing you is that over eighty
five research studies on this particular nutrient. Now we have
two different ubiquinals. We have our UBIQUINL that's just by itself,
and then we have our ubikinol that's enhanced with NADH. Now,
(03:31):
nadh is kind of a super booster for that co
q ten. So the coq ten by itself is wonderful,
but when we add that nadh into it, it makes
it even stronger. And the nadh is actually a substrate
of vitamin B three, which is niosin. And certainly we
know nyasin has been shown time and time again to
(03:54):
have a very unique ability to raise your good cholesterol,
so your HDL. So we want to make sure that
we have good, healthy HDL, which is your high density lipoprotein.
I want to make sure that we have good HDL levels,
and this is what nyasin can do. So when we're
taking NADH, not only do we get that side benefit
(04:16):
of having support for our good cholesterol, we're also helping
to really enhance the way that the ubiquenol is working.
And the whole point of ubiquinol is to drive up
cell energy. So we know that ubiquenol with inside of
the cell, so inside of the core of the cell,
(04:39):
ubiquinol helps the body make ATP or denisen triphosphate. That's
very important because without that, the cell basically is kind
of devoid of its natural function. So this is why
we look at ubiquenol as being the powerhouse or the
gasoline that fuels all of our cells. And when you're
(05:02):
looking at plasma levels or blood levels of coenzyme q
ten in the body, we know that over ninety five
percent of that coenzyme q ten is in that antioxidant form,
which is ubiquinol. So if you go in you have
your blood test done for coq ten, what we're looking
at is the ubiquinl because coq ten comes in two
(05:24):
different forms. You have ubiquinon which ends in one, and
then you have ubiquinyl ending in ol. So what's the difference. Well,
the ubiquinol, which is what we have in our products,
that conica form that's been used in eighty five plus
clinical trials, This is in its reduced antioxidant form, and
(05:49):
the ubiquinol itself is geared towards not only facilitating and
pushing that energy through, but because an antioxidant, it's protecting
the cells at the same time. So we use the
conic of form which is a liquid So if you've
(06:10):
used the Invite Health coke ten before, you know it
comes in a liquid filled capsule. So it's a very
powerful liquid antioxidant and it really allows for the regeneration
of other antioxidants in the body, including vitamin E. And
(06:31):
we certainly can see when someone's on particular medications statins
for example, this is kind of the most common one,
but we also know that a lot of the high
blood pressure medications can lower your coke ten, especially beta
blocker drugs, So it's always just something to notate if
you're on a beta blocker drug or if you are
(06:52):
on a stat and you for surely need to be
taking ubiquin al and ubiquenol has been shown to effectively
replenish the depleted levels of co q ten when someone
is on one of these medications like a statin drug
for cholesterol lowering. So we look at the way in
which coenzyme q ten has been studying. We know initially
(07:15):
when they first kind of stumbled upon this molecule in
the body, that they recognized its benefit when it came
to cardiovascular health. Well, we've gone far beyond that now
and we see all of the many ways in which
coenzyme q ten is really working in our system. So
the webinar that I attended this week that was hosted
(07:36):
by Konica and their presenters were really diving into this
is looking at how co q ten itself is found
in almost every single cell in the body. And this
is hence why the research has expanded through the years
to look at it as being a very powerful driver
(07:56):
for cell energy production in that form of ATP generation
and realizing that ubiquenol is required for the energy production
in all of these cells, looking at it as this
very powerful antioxidant and this is really the only known
lipid soluble antioxidant that's made within the body, so we
(08:22):
can see how it's even more so important because it's
leading to a greater level of protection for all of
our cells because of its lipid solubility. And I said,
we know all of the heart health benefits of someone
has any concerns with heart disease, whether that be high
blood pressure, congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease. We know
(08:47):
the effectiveness of replenishing the body's natural co q ten
with the invite health ubiquenol formulation. We've seen it time
and time again, and we certainly can see how co
q ten is also been shown to be very very
important in longevity. And when you look at ubiquenol supporting
(09:11):
healthy aging and protecting the cells from premature aging, these
are all very key. Looking at muscle mass, this is
a very interesting wing of research right now at Knica's
looking at how the coenz im q ten, this ubiquenol
is actually able to protect muscle cells from degradation or
(09:32):
from the loss of muscle mass and muscle strength, also
known as sycopenia, which we of course always want to
avoid at all costs because that is certainly problematic. So
they really got into the absorption and why supplementation with
this conica form of ubiquinol is superior. And we clearly
(09:56):
can see this just from looking at you know, all
of the last test and if you go and you
do blood testing and you can see it has the
superior bioavailability because it is bioidentical. So the delivery form
to which we use at Invite Health makes it even
that much better because not only is it the liquid ubiquinol,
(10:18):
but then we have it protected with the addition of
things like the mct oil. We know mct oil is
a medium chain triglysride so important for cell energy production,
for overall brain health and another one of those really
powerful side benefits that goes along with supplementation with the
Invite Health COQ ten ubiquinol. Now I advise the ubiquenol
(10:43):
with NADH because I think the NADH is such a
lovely enhancement to this, and the one hundred and twenty
milligrams of the ubiquinol itself very high amount for overall
support for long JEB. Now are the reasons why someone
would take more than one caps a day. Of course,
(11:04):
you know if we're dealing with underlying cardiovascular conditions. If
we're dealing with different neurodegenerative conditions, like if someone is
dealing with Parkinson's disease, for example, we would be going
with a higher amount. If someone has heart disease, as
I mentioned, of course you'd be taking a higher amount.
This is when you want to talk to one of
the Invite Health nutritional advisors and ask those questions. You know,
(11:28):
if you're on a medication that we know depletes coens
i'm Q ten, would that warrant you then taking maybe
two of the ubiquanol with NADH per day perhaps, But
everyone is different, and we also, you know, if we
knew a starting point of where your coke ten is,
which we never do because doctors don't test your coke
(11:49):
ten levels unfortunately. So this is the reason why, you know,
we just kind of go with that standard amount. So
one capsle a day for overall wellness for LONGEVI. But
if we're really zeroing in and targeting different conditions, whether
that's cardiovascular high blood pressure related, then we maybe bumping
(12:09):
that up and saying you have two capsules a day
would certainly be beneficial. Now a lot of times we
get the question of you know, coq ten makes energy,
So is this problematic if I take this product later
in the day. No, it's not.
Speaker 3 (12:21):
So.
Speaker 2 (12:22):
You know, if you take your Coen's i'm q ten
first thing in the morning with your breakfast, is that fine. Yes?
If you find it easier to take it at lunchtime
or dinner, is that fine too. Yes. It's not like
the coq ten is going to somehow keep you up
at night. That's not the case with Cohen's i'm q ten.
But it's such a just a wonderful formula that we offer.
(12:42):
And you know, I love learning anything about the conica
that we're using in this, which is why I attended
this wonderful event this week, this webinar, just to hear
their latest research and really looking at how it's amplifying
healthy aging and the way in which it plays such
(13:05):
a key role in that cell protection and encouraging the
sell energy to be produced throughout our life.
Speaker 4 (13:14):
And this is.
Speaker 2 (13:14):
Something that for me on a scientific side, I think
is really incredibly important to to walk away. And they
were looking at this as far as the way in
which the ubiquinol is working its way in to the
(13:35):
cell and you know, the more enhanced testing that they
do with the Konica UBIQUINL, the more impressive this form
that we're using, that we've been using at Invite Health
for so many years. It just continues to reinforce that
we know when someone comes into our one of our stores,
(13:57):
or if you give us a call, you go to
our website and Invite Health and you're looking for coke ten,
that when you are using our ubiquinyl, whether the sixty
milligram or the one twenty with that NADH, that you
are getting the most potent, most bioavailable, the best absorption
COQ ten out there. And you know, I like to
(14:23):
always let people know that, you know, we stay in
contact with Conicat. This is why you know I went
to this updated webinar to hear the latest scientific research
that's been occurring with our ubiquinyl formulation because to me,
I want to be able to share that with you.
I want to be able to say, yes, you know what,
they just looked at it in this study in athletes
(14:46):
and showing how it can really improve all of these
different biomarkers when it comes to exercise performance. I want
to be able to talk to you about how coq
ten has been shown to mediate inflammation, the way in
which Coen's i'm q ten is shown as a player
now when it comes to the development of diabetes, and
(15:08):
if you don't have adequate coq ten, how you are
more prone to potentially developing diabetes. We can see its
protective role to the liver and every single day our
livers are exposed to so many different problematic things, and
how coq ten is really working to allow for liver repair, regeneration,
(15:33):
and for the overall wellness of our entire detoxification process
each and every single day. So I do need to
squeeze in a quick break. Remember any of the products
that I talk about today, So the ubiquinyl coq ten,
whether it's the sixty miligram or the one twenty with
the nadh, along with the Purple's ahax and that grapesiat

Speaker 2 (17:13):
And welcome back to Invite Health Radio. I am doctor
Amanda Williams talking about COQ ten You biquinol, all of
the different ways that coq ten is working in our body.
Why it's important this is not something that's made up
by invite health. When it comes to a supplement to take,
coq ten naturally occurs in the body. It's naturally made
(17:36):
in the body. And as we get older, our natural
production of coq ten in its reduced antioxant form known
as you biquenol, can really start to diminish. Then you
add insult to injury. If we're dealing with other conditions,
if we're dealing outside of just the normal aging process,
if we're dealing with diabetes, if we're dealing with pre diabetes,
(17:58):
heart disease, any of these conditions, fatty liver disease, that
can really set that fast track of depleting your body's
coenz ime q ten. And then if you're on a
medication that disrupts the way coq ten is made, that's
a problem too. So this is why daily supplementation with
ubiquenol for anyone basically over the age of thirty five
(18:19):
is a very very good idea. Such fascinating research on
ubiquenol when it comes to headaches, and you know they
have been assessing the utilization of ubiquenol for individuals who
suffer from migraine headaches, and the clinical studies on this
(18:42):
are incredibly impressive showing how taking the ubiquenol on a
regular basis can actually reduce the frequency, duration, severity of migraines.
And what they have found is that coq ten intake
actually lowers the level of a particular peptide that is
(19:03):
known for driving migraines in many individuals, so it's called
kelctonin gene related peptide, Not that you necessarily need to
know that, but what they can see from the clinical
studies in individuals who have migraines is if they have
high levels of this peptide in their system, they're going
to be more frequent, more severe migraine suffer. But when
(19:27):
they gave them coq ten, that peptide level went down,
So the coq ten level went up and that bad
peptide went down, and so hence they had improvement overall
in how often they were having a migraine. So just
some really incredibly impressive research out there when it comes
to to coq ten beyond heart health, and we clearly
(19:51):
know that coq ten and cardiovascul their health to go
hand in hand. You have to have coke ten for
your heart muscles. Heart muscles we want to keep nice
and strong throughout our life. We don't want the heart
to overwork, so hence it starts to hypertrophy. That's not good.
We don't want that muscle to enlarge. That's not the goal.
(20:11):
But what we want is we want to have a nice, strong,
tone heart muscle. And this is what the ubiquinol plus
that NADH is really great at doing. And so study
after study, like I said, what we use in our
product has over eighty five clinical trials done on it.
Hands down, I'm not being biased about this. The science
(20:33):
speaks for itself when it comes to the ubiquenol that
we are using in our products. So you can rest
assured that when you were taking the Invite Health COQ ten,
you are getting the strongest, most powerful bioavailable high absorption
COQ ten out there. And you know, I always say
(20:55):
if you if you don't believe that, go have your
COQ ten level tested, then start to supplement with the
invite elth coke ten ubiquenall then retest your coke U
ten and then you will see you will see the difference.
You will see how much of that cokey ten has
actually made its way into your system. So next I
(21:15):
want to switch over and talk about the grape seed extract.
I oftentimes go into an enormous amount of detail on
our grape seed extract that we offer at invite because
it is such a unique source and the power of
(21:37):
the OPCs, that's the actual antioxidant that the grape seed
itself has, which is called OPC for olegomeric pro anthocygnod in.
So we use a registered trademark form of grape seed extracts,
so it's not just a random run of the mill
grape seed extract. We use what is known as n Ovidavida.
(22:00):
Is a particularly sourced This is kind of its claim
to fame and the reason why we use this the
way in which it's sourced, the sustainability, the area in
France to which it's sourced from, and we have this
direct trace stability, we can tell exactly which of the
(22:22):
vineyards that our grape extract is coming from, so we
know exactly where it was selected, we know in which
how the the power of the OPCs from the novida
that we're using. How much of a difference that will
make in your overall health. And once again, study after
(22:46):
study show it's effective in not only supporting the cardiovascular
parameters that we know grape seed extract can do. By
improvement of blood pressure. As an example, a lot of
folks use our grape seed extract as an add on
to maybe their already current blood pressure routine that they're doing,
(23:07):
and you know, maybe they're taking one capsule a day,
sometimes they take two capsules per day. I have a
lot of women who turn to the grape seed extract
for hormone support, mood support, overall cardiovascular support. Once again,
rightfully so because the way in which that grape seed
astract is actually working. So the studies on the novida
(23:29):
that we are using have shown how it can improve
overall mood, it can help with stress, overall quality of
life improvement when people are utilizing the enovida form of
grape seed extract. So it's it's probably the most powerful
grape seed extract that I have ever seen. And the traceability,
(23:57):
the sourcing method, and just the natural way in which
this grape seed extract that we offer, the way in
which it's working and for many individuals when they hear
us talk about this product on this program. So if
I'm talking about it or Jerry's talking about a lot
(24:17):
of times we'll get follow up. Like so, grape seed
extract can do all of these different things. And you know,
it's really great for supporting my blood pressure, but I
can also utilize it for brain health and to fight
ox stative stress within the brain. It's wonderful for overall
stress management. A lot of times people turn to healthy inning.
(24:39):
We also know that grape seed extract can be very
helpful for helping the body with that regulation of the
stress response, and you know, for cellular health, for liver health,
once again for kidney health. We can see how the
ollegomeric pro anthocynodins within the grat seed extract really hone
(25:02):
in on protection for the renal tubules and the way
in which the kidneys itself go through the filtration. Now,
another fun fact about our you know Vida grape seed
extract that we offer at Invite Health is the beauty
(25:23):
from within. So the way in which our grape seed
extract can actually help to enhance overall skin health through
working the inside out And this is always such a
fascinating wing of research for me because it's really kind
of taken hold in the past ten years. Is looking
(25:45):
at the nutritional benefit of certain nutrients and the way
in which these nutrients are able to help, not only
what the original intended use is. So say someone's using
the grape seed extract for blood pressure support and they're
using it for two months and then they say, wow,
(26:08):
you know, I feel like my skin health has improved.
Is this possible? So this is the fascinating double effect here.
Instead of prescription medications which come with side effects, I
always say, these supplements come with side benefits. So this
is one of those really unique side benefits that goes
along with grape seed extract is you may be using
(26:28):
it for one thing, but then you're yielding these benefits
across the board. And for individuals who maybe have concerns
with fatty livergencies, they start using the grape seed extract
once again made for blood pressure support, and the next
thing they know, they go in and their liver enzyme
profiles have improved and they go, well, Hm, how is
(26:49):
this happening. It's that grape seed extract the power of
those oleegomeric pro anto sign events really pack such a powerful,
powerful punch. I cannot speak enough on the potency and
the quality of which we are actually providing you with
this formulation. And it's not only that we have this
(27:13):
you know, trace ability of this product, but it's the
potency of which is in every single capsule. So two
hundred and fifty milligrams of the grape polyphenols is a
remarkably high amount. And the fact that the form that
we're using has been clinically shown to improve all of
(27:36):
these different metrics, all of these different parameters, including for
regulation of blood sugar control. So that was a fascinating
study that came out many years ago on the Enovida
is for individuals who you know, fell into that category
of metabolic syndrome, and these folks were dealing with, you know,
(27:56):
problems with blood pressure, problems with their blood sugar. Giving
them the Enalvita grape seed extract and seeing not only
the improvement in their blood pressure readings, but seeing an
improvement in their blood glucose control. So this is once
again one of those areas where I just really like
(28:18):
to impress upon if we are looking for comprehensive support
for circulatory system for our brain, looking at formulations like
the coke ten ubiquinyl, looking at products like the grape
seed extract, looking at that Purple's HX that packs that
powerful punch of antioxidants with every single scoop that you take,
(28:41):
partnered up with powerful amino acids in that Purple's CHAX
that can enhance overall cardiovascular function and encourage healthy cell
energy and at the same time gives you this really
high amount of cell production. So this is part of
what I wanted to cover today is energy and cellular protection.
(29:03):
What can we turn to? We know we can turn
to the invite health you biquen all with NADH. We
know we can turn to the power of the purples AHAX,
and we certainly can turn to grape seed extract. Do
make sure that you stick around. We've got Jerry Hickey
coming up.

changing information on health and nutrition. You'll hear from Invite
professionals who are leaders and targeted and anti aging nutrition.
Get ready for tomorrow's nutritional science today right here, right now.
Good morning, Happy Saturday. Welcome to another edition of Invite Health.
I'll be your host for the next hour. My name
(30:41):
is Jerry Hickey. I'm a pharmacist, a licensed pharmacist who
has always specialized in nutrition. I mean, I'm going way
back to the nineteen seventies when this started. Okay, so
i have quite a bit of nutritional information under my belt.
I'm really I know what is real and what isn't
according to the data, and I'm very careful about that.
(31:06):
So we talk about the best of the best of
the best supplements on this program. Now. Oh, one thing, though,
when you place the order, say Jerry wor, you get
an extra ten percent off. It doesn't matter if you're
go into the store or if you call on the phone,
or you order on the website, say Jerry Woor get
an extra ten percent off your purchase. Now of invite supplements,
(31:30):
there is a single best drink for your brain health.
I mean, this is absolutely my belief that if you
all the drinks. You know, we have about ten drinks
a day, okay, water, coffee, tea, you name it, sometimes, beer, wine,
(31:52):
you know. Not me, No, I don't really drink. I
have very little. But let's get this, so you have
about ten glasses of liquid a day on average. So
you can either opt for something that helps your brain
health or something that hurts your brain health. So, in
(32:15):
my opinion, based on reading numerous studies over decades. There
is a single best drink for you to consume for
your memory and brain health. And it's simple. It's called
green tea. And I do believe green tea works better
than all the other tea plant ingredients like black tea,
oolong tea, white tea. I really believe green tea is
(32:38):
the best thing. It has these polyphenols in it. They're
kind of greenish yellow, and they super support brain health
in many different ways. Now, in February twenty twenty five,
a really cool study came out. It was just about
sixty thousand people and the people who can and some
(33:00):
of the most green tea had really great results for
their brain. Now, green tea helps more in the brain.
We'll get into some of that. We'll get into the
stuff that really has some data the people who drank
the most green tea. And you don't have to have
a huge amount three or four cups a day. Do
(33:21):
I do that? Yeah? But I do that with a trick.
I don't actually brew three or four cups a day.
I brew one or two and I add squirts today
invite green tea drops to it. Each squirt of the
invite green tea drop gives you a full American sized
cup of green tea. Polyphenoals. These are the things that
(33:43):
are really good for your brain, so it's guaranteed. So
I brew green tea from my wife and myself once
or twice a day. I actually love the flavor, and
I find it very soothing and comforting. You know, it's
just a great thing to have. I generally do it
when I'm sitting there reading a book. I read a
lot of books, and I put a squirt or two
(34:04):
of the green tea into our cups, depending on how
much we're having that day, because I want to bring
our total accumulated green tea and take to four cups
a day. That's kind of like the magic level. That's
really where you get the optimal benefit. So I'll brew
a cup twice a day and a later square to
the green TTX. So that's a cup brood plus a
(34:25):
square to green TTX is two cups worth of polyfunerals.
I do that twice a day, and that's four cups worth.
So the people who had three to four cups of
green tea every day a thirty seven percent lower rate
of cognitive decline. Their brain worked better than other people
(34:45):
in their age group, and this included people in their
seventies and eighties, a twenty six percent lowered risk of dementia.
I mean, if you look at the things that lowered dementia,
besides your lifestyle, you know, getting enough, being social, challenging
your brain with information like you know, learning a language
or something, eating your vegetables and things like that. The
(35:10):
two things that really seem to cut back on your
risk of Alzheimer's and other dementias are fish oils That's
why I take my krill every day and green tea.
So they had a thirty seven percent lower risk of
developing cognitive decline, a twenty six percent lowered risk of
developing dementia any kind of dementia, and a thirty six
(35:33):
percent lower risk of developing mouth cognitive impairment. Now, some
things look like mold cognitive impairment, like people who can't
get out of bed and they're in a darkened room
and they don't know if it's the night or date.
I can look like mild cognitive impairment, or people on
a whole you know, cocktail of drugs that's impacting their brain.
But true mild cognitive impairment. Your brain has sunk in function.
(35:57):
I mean your memory just is not there it used
to be, and your ability to learn and reason figure
things out not happening. The problem is true cognitive decline
to that level called mild cognitive impairment really is the
gateway to Alzheimer's. So a thirty six percent lowered risk
(36:18):
of developing mild cognitive impayment a thirty seven percent lowered
risk of cognitive decline. I'm telling you, so if you
don't want to make liquids or take liquids, we have
a green te HX capsule and every capsule is equal
to about three cups of green tea polyphenols. So let's
read some of the data I gave you. One study
(36:41):
on almost sixty thousand people from February twenty twenty five.
Here's a study for Japan. It's nine thousand people grater
than the age of sixty five. There was a strong
association between drinking green tea and not having white matter
(37:01):
lesions in the brain. That's really important. White metal your
brain is fifty white matter approximately, and that's how information
flows through the brain, and that also cushions the brain.
When you have damage in the white matter, It travels,
it spreads, it grows, So a lowered incidence of white
(37:22):
matter lesions in the brain soars in the brain. That's
really fantastic. Now his the UK. I just spent a
week over in London. That was fun. This is almost
four hundred thousand people in the UK over a ten
year period. Green tea helped prevent Alzheimer's disease. Green tea
(37:49):
helped prevent vascular dementia. The effect was strong for three
to four cups a day. This had the strongest protective
effect against dementia. They're really is something to this. And
here's one last study, the Study of Alzheimer's Disease, the
(38:10):
Journal of Alzheimer's Disease. This is January twenty twenty five.
They started looking at almost two thousand older people in
nineteen ninety five. So these people are at between the
edge of forty four to sixty six and nineteen ninety five. Now,
they just finished a study in January twenty twenty five.
They just published it. Two to three cups of green
(38:32):
tea today strongly cut the risk of cognitive decline by
almost fifty percent. But you get a lot more than
a reduction in brain function loss. With green tea, you
also get protection from infection. There are many studies looking
(38:53):
at green tea, green tea and animals including monkeys and
gerbils and hamsters and rabbits, green tea and plates versus
viruses and bacteria. That's really interesting because when you add
the green tea the viruses in a dish, in a
petri dish, they get this gel, they grow the virus,
they kill it with the well, they grow bacteria. They
(39:15):
see that green tea impedes a very wide spectrum of viruses,
including the winter viruses we get up here in the Northeast,
the viruses we get in Boston and Brooklyn and Jersey
City in the winter. So there are studies green tea
(39:36):
SLOs covid viruses, you know, coronaviruses. There are studies green
tea SLOs cold viruses, which is important because there's hundreds
of cold viruses and different families, and green tea seems
to affect every one of these families as slowing them down.
And green tea slows in fluenza flu viruses. Even if
(39:57):
you get a flu shot, you can still get the flu.
So there's studies in all different age groups. There's studies
and kids. There's studies in kids in daycare, studies in
kids in kindergarten, studies and kids in grammar school studies
and kids in high school and college. Well, they're not
really kids anymore in college. Right When they give them
(40:19):
green tea to either gargle, swish around their mouth, or drink,
it cuts way back on flu infections diagnosed by medical doctors.
So the kids get a sore throat or the kids
get a you know, a fever or something they bring
into the doctor induct say hey, it's not the flu.
Far fewer fevers, far fewer sore throats, far fewer colds,
(40:42):
far fewer flu viruses in kids and adults. They did
a study in nursing homes. All of these people were
given influids of shots. They were giving a flu shot.
But the problem is after you've had a stroke, or
if you have Alzheimer's, or you broke your hip, or
you have severe heart disease, is something your immune system
doesn't work well. So even though you got the flu immunization,
(41:04):
you could still get the flu. So when they gave
them green tea in addition to the flu shot, it
was much better. Than the flu shot alone, seventy six
percent lowered rate of the flu and very elderly, weak people,
fragile people, and nursing homes if they were given green tea.
(41:28):
We've seen this in healthcare workers. Healthcare workers are exposed
to all kinds of infections in the winter in New
York and when they gave people in New York City
who were healthcare workers green tea strongly cut back on
their risk of a cold, sore throat, running nose, and
(41:48):
the flu. There's data after data after data, and the
elderly and healthcare workers and everybody, if you do green
tea in the winter, it cuts your risk of infection.
Now you can still get infected, but it'll be milder,
and milder means not as dangerous. So that's pretty cool.
(42:10):
So Invite has two green teas that both really clean products.
There's no spray in them. We check it to make
sure that there's no pesticides or herbicides or fungicides or
any of that crazy stuff. There's the green tea liquid
and every squirt is like a cup of brood green tea.
As far as the polyphenol aspect, it doesn't have the stimulant.
(42:33):
It has the polyphenol to help with the brain health
and to help with the immune system because green tea
directly on contact weakens flu viruses. Flu viruses use different
enzymes to infect you hema, glutenin and uramenidase and others
other protease related enzymes, and green tea inhibits all these
(42:56):
enzymes that weakens the flu. Somebody sneezes or coughs on you,
you're drinking green tea, that flu is less likely to
infect you. But green tea also helps your immune cells
that fight viruses work a little bit better, which is
good for diabetics where the immune system doesn't work well.
That's good for older people where the immune system is
(43:17):
broken down. It's weekend, it's slowed down. The green tea
brings it a little bit more up to snuff. Gambadelta
T cells to affect the flu. They work better when
you drink green tea. So there's the green tea capsule.
Every capsule is like three and a half cups of
green tea, so one a day's all you need. Or
the green tea drops three squirts four squirts a day,
(43:40):
that's like three or four cups of green tea. Okay,

Oh.
Speaker 4 (45:05):
Okay, welcome back, Jerry Hickey here for Invite Health. It's
always an honor and a privilege to be speaking with you,
So it's great to be here with you. You know,
I did something cool as I went out and I
bought some bang and olives and speakers. I have to
tell you, I'm streaming my music through Spotify through these
(45:26):
bang and olives and speakers. It is so good. Oh man,
who needs a concert? I have concerts at home. Okay. Collagen,
you know, uh, we feel like we're getting chipped away
at as we get older. There's like less of us,
less muscle, less skin less bone. It's real, and it's
(45:49):
largely due to a decline in the production of collagen.
We make collagen out of protein, and in turn, collagen
makes us. Collagen is the second most common ingredient in
the human body. The only more common ingredient is water.
So we're water and collagen. That's what we are, And
(46:13):
the problem is collagen production starts to decline when you
finish developing. So your brain finishes developing at about the
age of twenty seven, so collagen starts to decline in
production there, and every decade it's worse and worse and worse.
So by the time you're in your fifties and sixties,
you're making a lot less collagen, which is a problem
(46:35):
since collagen makes up about forty percent of you. It
makes everything from your blood vessel walls, to brain tissue,
to bone, to scan hair, nails, joints, and all of
these are affected when you're making less collagen. But research
shows if you take a high quality and I must
(46:57):
emphasize that a high quality collagen, because there are some
collagens coming out of China that are really subparter they're
pretty much crap, that's the technical term for them. That
if you take a high quality collagen, it triggers the body.
Not only are you getting to collagen as a supplement,
but it signals to the body, hey, wake up, start
(47:19):
making me again, and you get like a double value
out of it. The body once again starts to make
collagen out of the food you're eating, so here's Nutrition
in the Hospital. Taking collagen stimulates further collagen production and
the production of glucosamine, chondrot and and highaluronic acid. It
(47:41):
reduces joint pain and prevents bone loss and helps rebuild strong,
healthy bone. It also reverses the effects of aging on
your skin. That's looking at sixty human clinical trials. The
journal is called Nutrition in the Hospital. So why would
they make a statement like that. It's a great journal.
I look at it all the time. I'm for healing,
(48:01):
for trauma, for aging, you name it for illness and health.
Great journal. Well, collagen makes your bone, and there's study
after study that taking collagen creates the bone matrix. That's
the template to which the calcium and other minerals and
(48:22):
vitamins adhere to to make bone. So collagen makes the
matrix of your bone, and then the calcium attaches to
the collagen and hardens it into bone. So if there's
no collagen, there's no place for the calcium to go to.
So if you really have to rebuild your bone you've
lost a bone, or you really want to maintain bone
(48:44):
like I do, because I'd rather not have a broken
hip or a broken spine or a broken wrist or
a broken ankle. I take the collagen. Collagen is really
worth taking. Just like green tea is really worth consuming.
Collagen is really worth taking. It's one of those supplements
that when you're older, it's just magnificent for your health.
(49:06):
Your bone is thirty six percent collagen. You need collagen
for calcium and vitamin D and vitamin K and magnesium
and phosphorus to have a place to go, a home,
a nest where they can further strengthen it into bone.
So take collagen for your bones. But collagen also makes
(49:27):
your joint. So thirty six percent of your bone approximately
is collagen. Sixty seven percent of your joint cartilage is collagen.
Your joint is like a hinge. You know, you can't
open a door without a hinge, So you can't bend
your knee or your rebel without a hinge, which is
your joint. And on the end of the bones, they
have to be prevented from knocking together, otherwise they're going
(49:49):
to break down and you're going to feel like there's
shards of glass in your joint. What prevents the bones
from breaking down is cartilage. Cartilage is made out of glucosamine, writing,
and collagen. When you take collagen, it allows the body
to make all of these ingredients. You eat good food,
you take the collagen, you make joint tissue. It's been
(50:11):
proven like MIT did some really cool studies going back
like a couple of decades. They gave a group of
people with joint pain with arthritis in their knee collagen,
and they followed them for a couple of years. They
saw them here and there, and they found that the
pain went away. And the second part of the study
(50:33):
they found that the joint didn't get any worse, the
arthritis didn't go anywhere. And in the third part of
the study they found that the joint was actually healing
a little bit. So it was just the opposite of
what happens. Usually people get arthritis in the knee and
they're taking things to gaidevilla and a leave and things
like that, and it just gets worse and worse. With
(50:53):
the collagen, not only did the pain go away, and
was it safe, Yes, it was safe, but you didn't
have the side effects of the drugs. But not only
did the pain go away, but the knee was actually
repairing itself. And there's a number of studies that show this.
So when you take collagen, it allows you to make
the joint tissue, It allows you to make the glucosamine,
it allows you to make the condroid, and it allows
(51:15):
you to make the collagen, and you knit these things
together and your knee pain goes away. Lots of that
on this, and you'll also see back pain going away
because your spine is mostly collagen, Your spinal bones, the
spinal vertebrae are largely collagen, and then the cushions in
between them, the disks are collagen and water, and the
(51:38):
joints that hold them in place, the fastcet joints the collagen.
So a lot of people take collagen for their bones,
or their skin, hair and nails, or their knee joint
and they find their back pain goes away. Yeah, because
you're stabilizing your spine. So when you take collagen, it's
going to help your bones, it's going to help your
(52:01):
spine and which is a combination of bones and joints,
and it's going to help your knees and your hips.
Your bones are going to be stronger, your joints are
going to be stronger and less painful. Everything's going to
work better. You're going to enjoy your life better. But
you're also going to be safer because if your bones
(52:23):
are stronger, you're less likely to break a hip or
a spine or an ankle or a wrist or a
rib or whatever. But you'll also see the results because
collagen makes your skin. About seventy percent of your skin
is collagen, so let's let's look at that data. Most
of your spine is collagen, and the cushions in between
(52:44):
quote spinal disks. Your joints are mostly collagen sixty seven
percent of your joint, your bone largely collagen thirty six percent,
your skin seventy percent collagen. You will see your skin
look much younger and healthier and smoother and wrinkle free
and free of discolorations. It really means something. But what
(53:08):
tissues are related to your skin? Your hair and nails.
Your nails will grow better, they'll be stronger, they won't break,
and your hair will look thicker and behave like younger hair.
A lot of older people their hair thins out, fly
away hair, it just doesn't look good. You take the
collagen every single strand you hair thickens and it behaves better.
(53:28):
And their hair looks fuller. So collagen you are younger,
you feel younger, you're in less pain, you're more mobile,
you're safer, and you look better. So collagen is a
supplement really worth taking. Now invite as collagen gummies. They
(53:48):
have collagen tablets. But there's two collagen powders. If you
have really bad joint pain, take the collagen HX. But
if it's just like for me, maintenance and regrowing bone
and joint and skin here and nails, take the collagen HA.
Take that one. So you speak to our nutritionist. Is
(54:10):
invite nutritionists seven days a week. You know, that's an
interesting point. Even though this program ends shortly right, half
an hour and gone. All the stores many of them
have nutritionists in place. You could call them on the phone,
you could go in and visit them. You can even
chat with them on the internet. So that's a great thing.
(54:36):
I mean, who else gives you that service where real
bona fide nutritionists are on call to help you with
your selection of nutrients. What's good for you? What should
you avoid? They're both important questions. So the invite collagen
is not the Chinese collagen. It's a French Italian company
(54:56):
it's called Peptan. It's a French Italian company. Because a
lot of collagen coming out of China is not that good.
There are some good collagens coming out of China, but
there's a lot of bad ones. So play it safe,
take the invite collagen. Because collagen makes you. Collagen protects you.
You're less likely to break a hip, right if you
(55:18):
have stronger hip bones and stronger joints, less pain, more mobile,
less likelihood of breaking a bone. But just skin here
and nails all benefit too. And that's not the only
tissue that benefits. Your brain has a lot of collagen
in it, so there's less room literally to store memory
(55:39):
because there's less of the hippocampal tissue. And when you
take collagen, your hippocampus reg grows and there's more storage
for your memory, your day to day memory. I mean,
it's amazing what collagen does. Now. It doesn't make your skin,
hair and nails, bones, joined spine. It makes lighting your
blood vessels, the valves, and your heart and kidney. I
mean it just you need college. You have to have collegen.
(56:01):
It's really key to a long healthy life. It's really
a key to successful aging. So I take these things
I do to green tea. I brew a cup twice
a day, and I add squirts and the green tea
drops to it, and I take to college. And these
are really important supplements. These are really top knock supplements.

Speaker 4 (57:34):
Okay, Welcome back, Happy Saturday, Jerry wr Radio. You know
I spoke about a drink before if you were listening,
that showed that it helped protect your brain from the
devastating effects of aging on your memory. But what if
I could tell you a supplement that actually improves you pray.
(57:58):
It's called creatine monohydrate. Creatine came out of the world
of muscle and the gym, and it's real. Creatine gives
muscles power. It fuels our muscles, including our heart muscle,
and that's a good thing. There's plenty of high quality research.
(58:20):
So during periods of high demand, like running or riding
your bike, or playing pickleball or lifting weights in the
gym or whatever you might be doing, creatine fuels your
muscles and you get a better workout and you're less
likely to get hurt. Because it also hydrates your muscles.
But there is a neuroscience of creatine that's really evolving
(58:44):
at a rapid pace. Neuroscience is the science of the
brain and nervous system, and creatine is good for your
brain and your nerves because it helps the body. It
helps the body create myelin, which is the sheet covering
on your nerves, which is good for people who have
nerve pain. But let's talk about creatine for the brain.
(59:07):
There's consistent data and healthy people. Okay, we're not just
looking at people with memory problems or depression. Consistent data
and healthy people like you and me, along multiple high
quality studies, including people in their sixties and seventies. It
(59:29):
helps your intelligence, It helps your reasoning ability, it helps
your ability to learn, it helps your ability to remember,
it helps your mood, and it gives your brain energy.
So what is creatine. Well, it's important to say what
creatine is not. Creatine is not artificial. It's real. It
(59:52):
belongs in your body, it belongs in your brain. It's
natural to the human body. We make it out of
amino acids that come from the breakdown of protein. It's
not a steroid hormone. It's not a hormone. There's over
six hundred and eighty clinical studies to date that creatine
(01:00:13):
in our body. It's natural to our body, but you're
giving it extra when you take to supplement. And that's
good because in older people you're restoring it. See in
older people there's less in our brain, and there's less
in our body. There's less in our muscles, and you
need to creating to make energy. You need it to
make energy in the heart and in your muscles, possibly
(01:00:34):
even in your bones. That's what the research is starting
to indicate that it kind of aids bone metabolism. But
in the brain it's very important. In the brain effect,
creatine might be more important in the brain. It might
have greater consequences for your brain than your muscles. So creatine,
you swallow it and it very easily gets into the
(01:00:56):
brain because the brain loves it. The brain requires it.
But if you're older, you have less of it, so
you need to restore it in the brain. When it
gets into brain, the brain converts into something called phospho creatine.
And what does that do. It gives you energy. Energy
in the brain is called ATP. In fact, all over
the body it's ATP A denizent triphosphate, So ATP is
(01:01:20):
what gives you energy. Creatine keeps on cycling the ATP
because the brain uses a huge amount of ATP for
your memory, for thinking, for your mood, for regulating the body.
You know, the brain regulates your body temperature. The brain
(01:01:41):
regulates your your blood pressure, and your hormones and your
thyroid and everything. It needs a lot of energy for that.
It needs the brain needs energy to regulate the body,
to regulate your hormones, to regulate your stress hormones, to
regulate your blood pressure, to regulate your circulation, to regulate
your breathing. But the brain also needs the energy for
thinking and solving, so it's a super high energy organ
(01:02:02):
The problem is, as you grow older, there's less of
that source of energy. There's less creatine than the brain.
And you're finding in huge studies, in hundreds of clinical
trials that it's great for your brain. It will easily
get into your brain, but if you're older, you have less,
so you want to put it back there and it
creates energy and metabolism in your brain. You need this
(01:02:27):
to bump up your memory, to restore your ability to learn,
to restore your ability to solve problems for your mood
and for brain energy. Like if you had a bad
night's sleep. Right, let's say you had a wedding on Friday,
but yet you you don't have enough time to get
a good night's sleep Friday night and you have to
go out Saturday. Take the creatine. It will help with
(01:02:52):
a poort night's sleep. In fact, it's fantastic for a
poort nite sleep. Now, the consequences of low creating are
because this happens as we grow older. We have less creatine,
so it's harder for us to maintain the energy cycle
in the brain. The brain uses a lot of energy.
You have to keep the energy going every second. The
creatine does that. So if you have less creatine, you
(01:03:13):
wind up with brain fog, a tired bring just mentally fatigued,
poor concentration. The names this great American study names Nhanes.
People who lack creatine are probably going to be depressed.
Many depressed people lack creatine. And if you lack creatine,
(01:03:34):
you're going to be depressed. Here's the Journal of Alzheimer's Disease.
Now I'm not saying it's a cure for Alzheimer's, but
apparently it's helpful. So it's the Journal Alzheimer's and Dementia,
May nineteenth, twenty twenty five. It's the University of Kansas
Medical Center giving people with Alzheimer's disease. Patients with Alzheimer's
(01:03:56):
disease creatine increased their cognitive function globally, so it's going
in a good direction. Normally, when you have Alzheimer's, very
quickly the brain goes into bad direction. But when they
gave them creating, the brain went in a good direction.
(01:04:17):
So here's researchers from all over Canada. It's in the
journal Nutrients. It's a recent study. Creating gets into your brain.
The brain loves it and accepts it. It gets in there easily,
and it helps attenuate symptoms from maltraumatic brain injuries, depression,
and concussions. I mean, that's how good it is for
(01:04:38):
your brain. Here's the University of Utah. It's the Veterans
Affairs Medical Center in Swalt Lake City. It's in the
General Biomolecules. Growing evidence that depression is due to a
disruption of brain energy. Restores brain energy, it clicks their
(01:05:02):
mood up. And here's another one. Just this I'm gonna
end it here. Maybe there's a whole bunch more. This
is the Journal Nutrients, it's Texas A and M University
and researchers throughout Germany. Creatine helps protect the brain during
periods of eschemia and injury. So injury is hitting your head,
(01:05:24):
But what's a period of aeschemia. Eschemia means lack of
blood flow, lack of oxygen, lack of nutrition. So they're
saying that if you have creatine in your brain, it
helps protect your brain from the ravages of a stroke,
and it helps repair the brain by restoring energy production.
I'm really trying to emphasize that creatine is more than
(01:05:47):
just heart strength, which is good for older people like
myself and muscle endurance. Creatine seems to be a musta
for us older people, for our brain. So whereas I
once said, hey, take creatine, you'll play a better game
of pickleball or golf, now I say you need to
have creatine just like you need to have collagen, and
(01:06:08):
you can mix it together like I do. I mix
them in a shaker. You can even put your green
tea in with these. No reason why you can't. So
I mix the creatine every day with the collagen. The
collagen rebuilds me and helps prevent sore knees and orthritis,
pain and back pain. It's good for my bonones and
my skin, hair and nails, are my joints. And the
(01:06:29):
creatine is super good for my brain. So whereas one
time I told all the people you could take creatine
for better muscle function, now I say to older people,
you must have creatine. You have to put it back
in your brain for good brain function, for memory functions.
So I'm going to end it at that. I was
going to go further. You know enough already. I'm saying
(01:06:54):
enough already about creatine. It really does matter. It really
does have an impact on your brain health, and so
it's protective. The green tea is super protective of the brain.
The creatine restores metabolism in the brain. That's an important
thing they call. Some researchers, like at Columbia University in Manhattan,
(01:07:15):
call Alzheimer's diabetes of the brain or type three diabetes,
because diabetes is a lack of metabolism, and Alzheimer's is
a lack of metabolism in the brain. Creatine restores metabolism
in the brain, so it's a really, really really important
King Nutrie. I mean, there are just certain supplements that
(01:07:36):
when you turn fifty or sixty, they're just so important.
Green tea is one, Creatine monohydrate is another, collagen is another.
All three of them are on special. You buy one

Speaker 4 (01:09:13):
Okay, welcome back. It's the last segment of the program,
and I have two supplements I want to cover. One
of them is our probiotic formulas. I'll put all the
probiotic formulas on special today. We have a whole bunch
of them. We have like five probiotic formulas. I take
the regular one to probiotic HX, but we have a
probiotic for women, and that's really interesting and important. You
(01:09:35):
have to detoxify your breast tissue, ladies. Chemicals get into
your breasts that look like estrogen and they inflame the
breasts and they can change the cells and make them dangerous.
So what are these chemicals? Where do they come from?
All over the place. They come from plastics, they come from, pesticides, fungicides, herbs, sides,
(01:10:01):
a lot of things that are bad look like estrogen,
and they tend to localize in women's breasts, and this
is one of the causes of breast cancer. It's one
of the reasons why so many women get breast cancer.
Of course, breast cancer is a touchy, scary topic, and
it's a super complex topic. But these things add to
(01:10:24):
the risk of breast cancer. Do they directly close it?
There is data So when you get to correct probatic strains,
they travel from your digestive tract up to your breasts
and they break down these chemicals and remove them, and
your breasts are cleansed and that's safer. But they also
(01:10:46):
cleanse the urinary tract. You're less likely to get urinary
tract infections. They also cleanse the vaginal tissue, you're less
likely to get fungally yeast infections. So it's all around
good and you still get the benefits for your digestion.
Because everybody knows probiotics are great for your digestive tract now,
(01:11:06):
so I don't use the women's I use the probiotic
e checks. It took me months and months and months
to put that together. I had a stack of research
about a foot high, and I continue to look at
these studies and I picked out five great strains. They
help with iritable bowel syndrome. They help with constipation. There's
(01:11:28):
no two ways about it. You will have more bowel
movements if you're constipated and you take probiotic eate checks.
They help with diarrhear because they help normalize inflammation in
the colon, which helps with diarrhea. They help with gaciness,
like some people eat food and their bellies wells all
the way out. They help with the gaciness. They help
(01:11:49):
with burping, They help with heartburn. They help with flatulence,
you know when you release gas keep the car windows open.
They help with flatulence scarcy. But they're really important for
your immune system, and that's where I'm going with the
probatic h checks today. They're really important for your immune system.
(01:12:11):
We're coming into coffin colds season. I've already had a
number of people tell me they've had colds nobody with
the flu yet, but a lot of people with colds,
running noses, stuffy noses, head colds, stuffiness. Then they can't
sleep well at night, they don't feel good exercising, so
it affects everything. If you have a workaholic, sun like,
(01:12:34):
I do give them the probaticate checks because these people,
the people who work really hard, they have the trend
towards more infections because their immune system gets worn down
by oldest dress. So I give my son Matt probatic
h checks all the time. He willingly takes it. He
has less colds, fewer colds. He works really hard man.
(01:12:56):
He's got hundreds of PhDs working under him. My son
Matt has hundreds of PhDs in England, in Germany and
throughout the United States working for him. He has a
lot of stress. They're not easy people to work with,
so he does break down his immune system because of
(01:13:16):
the stress. I say, take the probatic KHX, everything will
be better, he says, Dad. It's true. I just feel
I'll get fewer coals. I am getting fewer calls, So
why would it Probably got to help you with colds
for the same reason it helps you with flu and
other viruses, including covid. It stimulates cells that kill viruses.
(01:13:41):
So let's discuss the immune system. When you're young, you
don't have the antibodies yet because you haven't been infected
with all these different bacteria and viruses, so you have
kind of a blunt force immune system that kills everything,
and the cells that do that are called neutral fills.
It's the most common immune cell. They're also called polymorph
(01:14:04):
nuclear leucosiites, so they have two common names, but neutrophils
is the more common name. When you get older, the
nutriphills don't work, so that's really bad when there's a
new infection like covid. One of the reasons why covid
was less dangerous than young people is because they had neutrophills,
so it kills every virus on every bacteria, so they
were able to withstand it. All the people the nutrophils
(01:14:26):
don't work, so when COVID came along, we didn't have
antibodies yet. The other part of the immune system, the nutrophils,
don't work. We were dying. People in our age group
were dying. That's real, that really happened. So the probiotics
within two weeks, the neutrophills work like somebody in their
twenties or thirties, So that means any fluid that comes along,
(01:14:49):
or any cold that comes along, or any virus that
comes along, or any covid coronavirus that comes along, because
there's always a coronavirus because they also caused the common cold,
your immune system will handle it better. Your natural killer cells,
your nutri fills will actually work, but also your natural
killer cells will work, and that's really important. Natural killer
(01:15:13):
cells have kind of a memory. But they also are
bridge cells. You know, if you want to sell your
house and you want to buy a new house, you
get a bridge loan. They give you a temporary loan,
and then when you sell your house, you pay off
the bridge loan. Well, natural killer cells are like bridge cells.
So the neutri filds are tired. Your first wave of
(01:15:34):
cells that kill the flu over cold are tired, but
the antibodies aren't available yet. You didn't make the antibodies yet.
You need a bridge between that and the bridge is
called natural killer cells. When you take our probiotics, within
a week or two, your natural killer cells are more
abundant and working better, and that's the key. They're working better,
(01:15:54):
so your immune system is better at defending you and
preventing an infection, but also making sure infections are less dangerous,
less severe. So between the green teet that's on special today,
which weakens viruses on contact, and the probiotics that makes
your immune system stronger and more adaptable and more rapid
(01:16:16):
and its response to infections, it really should help you
out during coffin cold season. So one of the things
I wanted to do today is not just to dress
your brain with the green tea and the creatine and
not just to dress your immune system with the green
tea and the probiotics. I want to do both. So
(01:16:41):
you do the green cheat in the probiotics. It's good
for your brain, it's good for your immune system, and
you'll get all the other benefits of the probiotics, like
better digestion. Oh, by the way, these probiotics they create
quill buterrate. One of the things they do is create butrate.
Buterate repairs to coldon So anybody with any kind of
colon inflammation, it's good for you, but also the lower
(01:17:03):
the risk of colon cancer because buterrate helps prevent cells
from becoming cancer cells. So when you have good probiotics.
It's one of the keys to preventing colon cancer, which
is a common cancer and a very dangerous cancer. So
the probatics create buterrate. Buterrate repairs your colon cells or
reduces inflammation, which lowers your likelihood of having colon cancer,
(01:17:26):
which is a good thing. That's that's real, that's bona fid.
There's a lot of data on that, a lot of consistent,
good data on that. The probiotic also create pyrovate, which
helps control your appetite, so you're not eating like crazy.
You eat what you need, but you're not eating all
those extra desserts, et cetera. So that's really important for
people who are overweight or people with diabetes or pre
(01:17:46):
diabetes to control the appetite. So probiotics give a wide
array of really important benefits. So that sounds special. I
have one last supplement on special. So here's what sounds
special so far. The green tea drops in the green
tea liquid. You have enough green tea, and it protects
(01:18:06):
your brain. When you're older, you're less likely to lose
memory function and brain function. You're less likely to have
a corrupted brain. But it's also good because on contact,
green tea kills cold and flu viruses. So green tea's
on special. Collagen's on special because it makes you. We
have collagen powdered collegen tablets, We have all these different collagens.
(01:18:30):
Speak to an nutritionists which one's best for you. But
collagen makes your skin, hair, and nails, so you're going
to look better. You're going to feel better because these
won't hurt, because it makes you joint tissue, and it
makes you bone stronger, so you're less likely to break
a bone. So collagen is really important. Creatine gives your
brain energy, so it makes the brain work like a
thirty year old brain instead of a seventy year old brain.
(01:18:51):
Probiotics for the immune system and digestion. These are all.
These are all supplements I take, by the way, I
take every one of these. The last thing on special
is bone food. Now bone food you mix with collagen,
and it's basically everything you need for your bone. The
bone food powder, you mix it with collagen. It's basically
every You get plenty of calcium, you get plenty of magnesium,
(01:19:15):
you get plenty of vitamin K, you get plenty of
vitamin D. So what's that all about. You get one
thousand units of vitamin D. That's a lot. That's a
good amount, and it's D three. It's the better form
of vitamin D. It's the one that works better in
us humans. Well. Vitamin D allows you to absorb minerals
like calcium and keep the minerals around. But you have
(01:19:39):
to put the minerals in your bone. That's where the
vitamin K comes in. The vitamin K is a chaperone,
so the vitamin D carries the calcium into your blood.
Now you need to bring the calcium over to the bone.
That's where the vitamin K comes in. Handy. The calcium
goes into the bone, but what holds it in the
bone the mineral magnesium. The mineral magnesium is what anchors
(01:20:06):
calcium into your bone. So when you take bone food,
you're getting everything you need to make bone. Most Americans
do not get enough magnesium. Magnesium is needed to help
prevent a stroke. It works with potassium to normalize your
blood pressure. It works with potassium to prevent a stroke.
You need magnesium to control your blood pressure. You need
(01:20:27):
calcium magnesium to release energy from food. Yeah, yeah, do
you know that magnesium about your nine percent of your
energy is tied to magnesium. It stabilizes the energy so
you don't spark it away and ignite it all at once.
That you delivered the energy methodically, so you have ongoing energy.
(01:20:51):
But what allows you to release energy calcium. You cannot
release energy from food without calcium. So when you take
bone powder, it helps you control your blood pressure and
your blood flow. It helps you control your energy. It
lowers your risk of diabetes because magnesium is very powerful
in preventing diabetes. Lowering the risk of diabetes, it lowers
your risk of several cancers, including colon cancer. Magnesium helps
(01:21:15):
to prevent colon cancer. Sodas calcium, So there's a lot
of side benefits to bone powder, but it's really clean.
A lot of forms of calcium are tainted with lead.
Like when you get dolomite from the mountains in northern Italy,
there's a lot of lead in there. You know what
the lead? Lead is poisonous. It causes strokes and heart attacks.
(01:21:37):
It damages your heart, it damages your memory, it damages
your intelligence, It lowers your IQ, it raises your blood pressure.
You don't want lead, so when you get the bone food,
the bone powder. It's really clean. It doesn't have the
lead issue that a lot of other calciums have. You
don't have to worry about lead. I take a half
(01:21:59):
a scoop a day. I'm a guy because guys, if
you break your hip, right, if you break your hip,
you're never going to get back what you were before.
You're never going to get back your mobility, your strength.
You might wind up in a nursing home. About forty
percent of people who break their hip die within the
(01:22:19):
next twelve months, the next two, three, four or five
months related to the broken hip, because all kinds of
things happen, and you get infections, you have a stroke,
So hip fractures are really dangerous. So if you take
the bone powder, the bone powder feeds your hip, the
collagen feeds your hip. They're both on Special today. Mix
(01:22:40):
it together. Mix I'm a guy. I mix a scoop
of the collagen with a half a scoop of bone powder.
But if you're a woman, to a scoop it of
collagen and a scoop of the bone powder. So we
have a lot of great stuff on special today, a
lot of great stuff for the immune system, for your brain,
for your bones, for your joints, for your skin, hair, nails.
(01:23:01):

and help protect your brain from memory loss collagen. It
rebuilds you. It rebuilds your bones, your joints. It helps
you with joint pain. It rebuilds your spine. It's great
(01:23:45):
for your skin, here and nails. Bone food powder, bone powder.
It's for your bones. But it has a lot of
side benefits because most people are not getting these things.
They're not getting the vitamin kate, they're not getting a magnesium.
A lot of you don't even get enough calcium. Probatics.
All our probe forms, including the probatic for women. The
probatic A checks bring your immune system up to paul
(01:24:05):
within two weeks. You much better at fighting off infections.
If you go into probatic K checks within two weeks,
your immune system will be better, and your digestion will
