Speaker 3 (00:35):
Hello, and welcome to Invite Health Radio. I am doctor
Amanda Williams, chief Science Officer at Invite Health, and happy
Saturday morning to everyone. What a morning it is. I
have so many things that I'm going to go over today.
I have many products that are on special Just so

(00:56):
you know, I am with you for the duration of
today's show. Jerry Hickey is away traveling, so he will
be back with us again next week. So he needs
to get away. You know, he likes to travel and
Ruth they go and they go see their grandkids and
he's always on the go, go go. But in any event,

(01:17):
just so you know, any of the products that I
talk about today are on a buy one get one free,
but if you use that promo code Amanda Woor, you're
gonna get an additional ten percent off, so really wonderful savings.
So maybe you have a piece of paper with your
pen and you want to write down the products that
are on special, So if you go to our website

(01:40):
you can take advantage of that, or if you give
us a call, or if you stop by one of
our stores, because remember our stores are open seven days
a week, and when you go into one of the stores,
you can have a free nutritional consultation with one of
our experts. So many times on this program you hear
me talk about SAD and Forest Hills and doctor Claire,

(02:02):
and I will reinforce that again today because doctor Claire
will be at Forest Hills today, So if you can't
make it over there, you can always give her a call.
She is absolutely lovely and she will give you so
much information about your overall health and wellness and get
you on the right path so that you can achieve

(02:23):
whatever your wellness goals are. That's something that we have
been doing since nineteen ninety eight here at Invite Health
is not only making these really powerful formulations for you
that are based and rooted in the clinical research and
the science, but we support that on a second level

(02:44):
with having our experts to give you that additional guidance.
And that's important because I always stress we're all unique,
we're all individual, and what one person needs may be
totally different than what someone else needs. So I'm going
to get into all of today's specials in just a moment.

(03:06):
I was away and I went to a big expo
in this industry. It's like the biggest expo that they
have each year, and it was so much fun. I
got to run into to so many folks that I
know within the industry, and see all of the new
things that are coming out in the world of nutrition,

(03:31):
and go to some really great educational conferences. Got to
connect with our Conica people. You hear Jerry and I
both talk about conica. That is the ubiquinal that we
use in our co enzyme Q ten. So I had
a lovely meet and greet with them and we were
talking about the power of conica and why we are

(03:52):
so proud to be utilizing that in our co enzyme
Q ten. So it was very productive and I'm very
enthusia siastic because that means that We've got new things
on the horizon, So when it comes to our product pipeline,
I'm really working on some some very unique things we
also have. As you you know, we've done some renaming

(04:16):
of different products, such as earlier this year we renamed
our cerebral care to super Focus IQ. It just makes
more sense because when you're taking that product, you really
do feel so much more focused, and it's wonderful at
modulating the stress response and really just getting your brain
firing on all cylinders. We have another product that has

(04:38):
been renamed once again because we recognize sometimes when people
look at some of our product names, they might scratch
their head and go, what what is that for? So
we had our Stalls plus formulation. I'll get into this more,
probably at the eight o'clock hour, but the Starells plus
is a powdered formulation wonderful for or cardiovascular health for

(05:01):
cholesterol management. So that has been renamed and it is
now called Cholesterol Defender Plus, and it suits that product
very well because all of the nutrients that are contained
in that product are really geared towards helping your body
have better control over the way that you process cholesterol.

(05:23):
So I'm excited about that. I'm excited about many things.
As you probably can tell when I'm on this program
or if you've had the opportunity where we've chatted before,
you know, I'm usually upbeat when it comes to talking
health and nutrition and I just absolutely love what I do.
So let's get into two things that are happening in

(05:46):
the news. And I'm not talking about elections. I am
talking about the science and new things that have been
brought to our attention just in the past few weeks,
things that I like to share with you because, as
you know, everything we do at Invite Health is rooted
in science, so I spend a good portion of my

(06:10):
week going through clinical research studies. Actually just had a
big meeting yesterday with an organization that sets up clinical trials.
So for me, it lets me tap into kind of
that medical background that I have. But I'm always looking

(06:30):
at the latest scientific research that comes out, so interesting
stuff that I want to share with you as of recently.
And this isn't new necessarily findings, but they're just new
studies that have come out and been published as of recently.
So vitamin D. You know, I love vitamin D technically
it's a hormone, not a vitamin because it has receptor

(06:53):
sites in the body. But they said vitamin D helps
to prevent atrial fibrillation. And I think that this is
something that once again, when we look at vitamin D,
we have to recognize it goes so far beyond that
of bone health. It's a shame that oftentimes people think, oh,

(07:13):
vitamin D is just good for my bones. Well it is,
but it's also wonderful for your immune system. And we
know that it plays a very important and integral role
into the way that the cardiovascular system is working. So
we know that aphib puts you at a much greater
risk of having a stroke because of the abnormal heart rhythm.

(07:38):
So that's technically what the atrial fibrillation is. It's a
type of abnormal heart rhythm. It becomes more common obviously
with age. Now do keep in mind a very common
driving force for atrial fibrillation is magnesium, and low magnesium

(07:58):
in your body can row the heart rhythm off. So
I always sit there and I'm like, why don't cardiologists
talk to their patients about this. There's so many people
out there that are taking very powerful antiquagulant or blood
thinner medications, and they're told, oh, you have to be
on this for the rest of your life because you know,
we can't have you having a stroke, which is good
in a preventive sense, but let's find that root cause.

(08:21):
Why did the heart go into it abnormal rhythm in
the first place. And so many times it is directly
related to low magnesium intake. And we know this, folks.
We know that close to seventy five percent of Americans
do not get adequate magnesium in their diet alone, So

(08:41):
just keep that in mind. So this was a meta
analysis on vitamin D. So they were looking at randomized
controlled trials that we're evaluating the effects of vitamin D
in men and women. And these are folks who underwent
a cardiovascular procedure known as a bypass, so they were
looking at post op post op a FIB is quite common.

(09:07):
So they said, well, let's see if we give them
vitamin D if this will either minimize or eliminate the
risk of post op a FIB. And sure enough, they
found this. They found a significant reduction in individuals who
were taking vitamin D compared to the group who was

(09:31):
not taking vitamin D and their serum blood levels of
vitamin D were incredibly low. So it's just kind of
one of those things that I always like to reinforce
is if you have not had your vitamin D level tested,
please do that. I am weeks away basically from being
able to have all of our Invite Health family, our

(09:56):
whole group of folks out there have access ability to
doing testing. Not that you're going to go to one
of the invite stores and have your blood drawn, that's
not it. But I am partnering up with a major
lab when we are. It's taking a little longer than
I thought, but as these things do. But I've picked
out different panels and different blood tests that people can do.

(10:19):
So maybe you go to your doctor and you say, hey,
I want to have this test one and they look
at you and say, no, I'm not doing that, and
that's common many times doctors will do that. So I
want people to have that opportunity to test things because
your blood can explain how you're feeling, how things are working,
and so the accessibility to that is something to me

(10:43):
that's really very important. Even myself. You know, I'm not
going to my primary doctor to do the comprehensive blood testing.
I want to do. I want to know what's going on.
I want to know what is my coen's i'm Q
ten level. I want to know what my C reactive
protein level is. If I asked my prime i'm married
doctor to do that, they're gonna say no, we're not
running that. So this is something that I think is

(11:05):
important and it's just right around the corner. So if
you have never had your vitamin D level tested, this
is something that will be accessible to you via invite
Health shortly. But it's important to know because if you
have low levels of vitamin D, this can be indicative
of problems with your blood sugar control, your blood pressure control. Certainly,

(11:28):
it can be a clear indication that the immune system
can have a greater opening for assault from a virus,
for example. And we know that we're getting into too
cold and flu season clearly, so we won't always want
to stay on top of that. The best way to
do that is to know, Hey, what is my level?
I advise that a blood serum level should be at

(11:52):
minimum fifty ideally seventy five nanograms per milli leater. Not
that you necessarily need to know all of the actual
details on that, but you know, when you get your
blood tests back, you want to see that number hit
between fifty and seventy five. Now, most labs, if you
are you know, thirty and above, they consider that to

(12:14):
be normal. And I don't look at a thirty for
a serum vitamin D level as being normal. I look
at that as being incredibly low and that we need
to bolster that up. Now, true deficiency is when you
hit the teens, like when you're like fifteen, then that
would be considered a vitamin D deficiency, which we know
that that's quite common too. Now we also have seen

(12:38):
studies that have once again reinforced and this was published
in the Journal of Hypertension, which is a wing of
the American Heart Association, and they were doing once again
a meta analysis of multiple and this had thirty eight
actual clinical trials that they were comparing the data points
to and looking at magne and you know magnesium's impact

(13:04):
when it comes to regulation of blood pressure. And sure enough,
as we know and we've been talking about for so
long here at invite help it, this meta analysis just
reinforced or strengthen the evidence that magnesium supplementation can not

(13:24):
only help to reduce overall blood pressure levels, but the
comprehensive way in which magnesium is supportive to the circulatory
system was really profound, and we can recognize this even
through proper heart rhythm. I just talked about this in

(13:44):
the setting of atrial fibrillation. So your heart is running
on an electrical conduction system and having those proper firing
points is so incredibly important, and that is heavily reliant
on magnesium. So magnesium. If you're not taking maggnesium, if
you're not taking vitamin D, if you're not taking coke ten,
you need to get those into your daily routine. Oftentimes

(14:08):
people will ask me how much do I need to take?
How much Vitamin D should I take each day? How
much magnesium do I need each day? I wish I
had that crystal ball. I always say that I wish
I could just sit there and go, oh, yes, this
is how much you need. I don't know because we're
all unique. So this is why having that serum vitamin
D level tested is key, because that can give us

(14:29):
an indication. If we see that the level is low,
we may say, you know what, you would be wise
to take three thousand ius of vitamin D per day.
Let's do that for eight weeks. Let's retest the vitamin D.
Let's see how you know good your body is absorbing that,
and then make any modifications beyond that. Same thing with magnesium.
Magnesium I always say is kind of one of those

(14:51):
start low because you want your body to be able
to utilize that in a proper way. If you have
excessive magnesium, then you can run the risk of having
loose stools, and so for folks who are constipated, that's
a great thing. For those who are not, then that's
not a great thing. So you always want to start
off with a low amount. But we recognize that both

(15:13):
vitamin D and magnesium intake in this country in particular
are generally on the very low side, leading people to
problems with high blood pressure, elevated blood glucose levels. These
are all correlated to magnesium status and vitamin D status.
So I know I'm kind of going on and on

(15:33):
about that, but they're simple things. It's very easy to
go to Invite Health and say, you know what, I'm
going to add in magnesium glacinate one tablet per day,
or I'm going to take the magnesium citrate what's the difference.
They're both elemental magnesium. So magnesium is magnesium. It's just
what it's bound to. So if you're taking magnesium glycinate,

(15:54):
the absorption rate is a little bit slower and can
be very beneficial if we're dealing with skeleton, muscle aches
and pains. If we're looking for that, you know, support
for blood pressure, heart rhythm, the magnesium glacinate maybe your choice.
If we're dealing with you know, a lot of stress

(16:14):
and problems with sleep, taking magnesiums toitrate before bed would
be a good choice. Or if you you know, have
that tendency to be a little bit more constipated and
not having regular bowel movements, magnesiumsitrate would be your choice
because it absorbs a bit quicker. So at in any case,
you want to speak with one of our nutritional experts
so that they can give you the best advice on

(16:37):
your specific needs. Another interesting study that came out, and
this was in the the Journal of Prevention of Alzheimer's Disease,
looking at vitamin B twelve deficiencies and how that led
to a greater level of atrophy or brain shrinking. So
I mean, these are really basic things folks, you look

(16:59):
at how many people are dealing with hypertension, dealing with
blood glucose issues, maybe you're pre diabetic or diabetic. We
look at individuals who are dealing with, you know, mild
cognitive impairment or dementia, and we say, okay, we can
just look at the just the basic barebone basics B twelve, magnesium,

(17:21):
vitamin D, COQ ten or Omega three fatty acids. So
these should all be part of a daily routine. Now,
getting the right amount of B twelve this is something
that once again, this question comes up. How much should
I be taking it really varies. Vitamin B twelve is
considered non toxic. So you know, if you have if

(17:43):
you're taking our core multivitamin, our performance multi vitamin, and
you go in and you have your blood level tested
and it comes back and it looks like you're B
twelves a little high, well that's okay, that's because your
body's properly utilizing that. We want to see that. We
want to see that the body is in taking that
B twelve in this type of a setting. If we're
already dealing with concerns or issues with mild cognitive impairment,

(18:07):
any type of mood disorder, anxiety issues. Definitely, we want
to be adding in that methyl B and getting a
real power punch of that activated B twelve into our system.
So I do digress. I need to squeeze in a
quick break. When I get back, I'm going to start

I am doctor Amanda Williams. Happy Saturday morning. Let's get

(19:53):
into today's product specials. I have many, one of which
is Shila Gee. I love saying this word, but what
I love even more is the science behind it. So
we have our Shila G fifty max. And this is
such a unique formulation, the fifty max. Oftentimes people will

(20:17):
ask like what does that stand for, Like what is
the fifty Well, it has fifty percent fulvic acid. So
the fulvic acid is what really packs this incredibly powerful punch.
And when we're looking at the clinical studies, we can
see how that fulvic acid has been shown to work
as an anti inflammatory and anti viral and anti microbial.

(20:41):
So just across the board, the therapeutic potential for fulvic
acid has really been shown to be incredibly helpful, especially
in the setting of chronic inflammatory diseases as well as diabetes.
So what's a chronic inflammatory disease. Let's look at arthritis
as being one. At cardiovascular disease, we know that that's

(21:02):
chronic inflammation. So adding in shila G and the form
that we're using with this high amount of that fulvoc
acid really allows for a way that the body can
tamper down inflammation. So this is a very energy rich

(21:24):
anti oxidant, and it is extracted right from the Heimalayan mountains.
So kind of the backstory on this is also interesting
because you can kind of like just imagine someone going
and like extracting out this pure sila ge and then
how it makes its way all the way to us
and into our capsules and into our bottles and onto
our shelves, and then I can sit here and talk

(21:45):
about it. So they have trace minerals fifty percent ful
ofc acid. It also has some other nice constituents to it,
including humic acid, all of which have been shown to
support healthy aging, which is great. I always say, anytime
we can find a way to age gracefully, we should

(22:07):
be jumping on that bandwagon. We can't stop the aging process,
but we definitely can be taking different nutrients. I mean
Rasverea trolls the you know, kind of the king of
the castle when it comes to the anti aging supplement.
But remember not all rasverea trolls are created the same.
So if you are using razveratroll from just some standard place,

(22:27):
I don't know how much it's going to stop the
your telomeres from shrinking. But if you use the Invite
Health Rasveratrol Max, definitely, I know that that's going to work.
The power of our trans rasveratrol and that is second
to none. Now back to Shila G fifty Max. This
is such a great supplement and since we brought this

(22:50):
into our product line, it's interesting the different interests that
people have in this. Some people will come in and say,
you know, I just feel like I never have energy
and you know, maybe I have chronic fatigue or fibromyalgia.
We start them on the Shila G fifty Max and
they're like, wow, you know, I really feel the difference.

(23:11):
And this is not surprising to us because we've seen
those studies. We have individuals who started using this as
like a pre workout or a post workout, and they
really can see the energy that is generated just from
taking a single capsule of the Shila G fifty max.

(23:31):
We also know it's been studied in that setting of
immune health, So once again we're in cold and flu
season adding in a capsule of this. Not only are
we helping to try to blunt the aging process and
give us energy and support our overall mood because we
certainly can see that as well, but we're also lowering inflammation,

(23:53):
which is a win win across the board. Very interesting
studies on how shila G and the power of its
antioxidants can actually minimize or mitigate the loss of bone.
This is always such a fun topic. I mean, the
thought of osteopenia or osteoporosis not so much, but what

(24:17):
leads to that is really interesting because I think if
you were to ask nine out of ten traditional doctors
you know, why does someone get osteopenia or why does
someone get osteoporosis, They're going to say, oh, well, they're
losing minerals in their bones. So it's you know, it's
the loss of that which is what lowers the bone density.

(24:41):
But okay, that's one little part of it. Yeah, So
you know, inadequate absorption and reabsorption of calcium and magnesium
and vitamin DED that all plays a role into it.
But what plays an even bigger role into this is
oxidative stress and inflammation. So if we want to look
at individuals who have a higher rate of bone turnover

(25:05):
and bone loss, we look no further to those who
have chronic inflammatory conditions and whose bodies are producing a
high amount of free radicals creating ox stative stress within
that bone sell itself. So shila G has actually been
shown to reduce that oxidative stress, reduce the inflammation, and

(25:29):
so for you know, say postmenopausal women who have a
greater concern of rapid bone turnover because of the loss
of estrogen, which is protective to the bone, adding in
a capsule of that shila G would be incredibly advantageous
to your daily routine. So it's not just about your calcium,
your magnesium, and your vitamin D when it comes to

(25:51):
bone health. We have to think outside of that box
and see the impact that a powerful antioxidant such as
shila G fifty macs can make. We also know it's
great for skin health. It works in synergy with our collagen.
So as collagen is being synthesized in the body, which

(26:12):
we know slows down incredibly once we hit about twenty
five years old, so there's still a rate of collagen
synthesis that happens, but it doesn't match the rate of loss.
So we're losing more and more collagen with every single
decade and not able to keep up with that. So
we can see how Silaji actually encourages the gene activation

(26:35):
for collagen synthesis. So for youthful skin, for great hair,
all of that, Shilagi excellent, excellent choice for maintaining muscle mass.
We have concerns about age relaid muscle mass loss also
known as cyclopenia, we can look at shila GI as
a go to and clearly when it comes to to
sexual performance and hormone balance, Shila GI. This is kind

(26:58):
of where really kind of tapped into the world of
nutraceuticals was when this study came out looking at the
clinical evaluation of shila G on testosterone levels. So they
were giving men to the Shila G and then they
tested out their free and total testosterone and DHA levels

(27:19):
and they could see that the Shila G was helping
to encourage the production or the release of testosterone and
to maintain healthy testosterone. So is that important just for men, No,
it's important for women too, because, especially postmenopausal women, testosterone
levels can start to diminish, which can lead to problems
such as low libido and loss of muscle mass. So

(27:43):
you know, we know it's protective to the bones, but
it's also very protective when it comes to hormone balance.
So just across the board, it's just a great product.
All the trace minerals in that partnered up with that
fifty percent fulvic acid, one of my face antioxidants that
we have in our product line. I had mentioned that

(28:05):
when I was at the show, I had the opportunity
to talk to our folks over at Conica. We also
use our Conica ubiquenol in our Energy HX formulation. This
is a great product to have right now, especially with
the time change and people are feeling a little bit lethargic.
The Energy HX is a combination of gensng extract along

(28:26):
with that Conica ubiquenol. So I'm going to get into
more details on that and how one would go about
utilizing that. Why you could still partner that up. Even
if you're taking our coke U ten ubiquenol, you can
still take that energy HX, especially during this time for
folks who maybe are more prone to seasonal effective disorder,

(28:48):
and this particular product is something that I like to
incorporate in, especially in those settings for someone who is
dealing with seasonal effective disorder, for someone who's feeling incredibly
stressed out. To add in the power of additional conicus.
So you're already using our coq ten, but to add

(29:08):
in additional knica ubiquinal along with that Gensen can really
help to heighten up the amount of atp or adennison
triphosphate that your cells are producing each and every single day.
So a lot more to cover in our next hour,
so stick around and have many products to go through.

Speaker 3 (29:50):
Hello, and welcome back. If you were with me for
the first half hour. If you weren't, welcome to today's show.
I'm doctor Amanda Williams, Chief Science Office, Sir at invite hell.
And I was not aware of the fact that the
Rangers beat my Red Wings, So there's that, But that's okay.

(30:11):
That's not going to put a damper on my Saturday
morning because I'm super happy that the Red Wings are
actually starting off this season. I don't know if it's
like one of those teaser things, but that they're coming
out looking pretty good. So well, we shall see, we
shall see. I think we're in second place in our division,
so still getting over the World Series, I'm sure all

(30:34):
of you, or maybe you've moved on to the fact
that the Yankees loss and then down with my Tigers,
and then last week, I don't know what was going
on with football, and the Lions lost to the Vikings,
which I was happy for JJ McCarthy because as you
all know, I am a Michigan fan. Michigan has a
bye week this week, so I don't have that to
watch today, but I will be partaking in other college

(30:58):
football games today. So and I always feel like this
season goes by so fast too. It's like I wait
all year for college football and then it like it
just seems like it just goes by just way too quick.
But that's okay. It's kind of you know, like I
suppose life in general, sometimes it seems like it's going

(31:19):
by slow and other times it feels like it's going
by pretty quick. But what we want to do is
we want to be able to protect ourselves. So in
the first half hour I was talking about Energy HX.
I love this product. Is that I was out at
this convention. I was talking to our Kanka folks. They
are you know, they're so great. They were there, you know,

(31:40):
presenting some their their latest research on the Kanka ubiquin
all that we're using not only in the Invite Health
Coen's i'm q ten ubiquin all with NADH and our
standard ubique All, but also in the Energy HX formulation.
So this is partnered with gin sync so well when

(32:00):
you have these two working together, so you get all
this energy. But remember this is caffeine free, so you're
not getting any of those jitters and it really allows
for our cells to be able to fuel up and
that is so incredibly important. So how do you use

(32:22):
this product? Generally speaking, one capsule a day. As I
was talking about seasonal effective disorder, I must tell everyone
I did pretty good this week, you know, with the
time change last week. It usually always takes a couple
of days. But I now recognize how much I did

(32:43):
truly struggle with that when I lived in Michigan for
the majority of my life, how much that just had
a negative impact. So I likely did fall into that
category of like seasonal effective disorder, if not just kind
of like that wintertime blues, because I would be kind
of just down and out and I'm usually a very
upbeat person and having that loss of daylight really had

(33:08):
an impact on me. So even though you're still losing
daylight down here, I think it's because of the temperature,
and you know, just having more exposure to the sun,
it just it makes a difference. So I did quite well.
But in any event, Energy HX is a great product
to take if we're feeling stressed, if we feel run down,

(33:33):
Taking two capsules of this per day totally fine. You
can do one cap with breakfast, take another cap even
with dinner. This isn't something like I said, it's caffeine free,
so it's not going to keep you up, but it
can really help to to combat the effects of everyday stressors.

(33:54):
And like I said, if you're going and you're working out,
this is a great kind of pre workout or post workout,
kind of like the Shila gie. So we have so
many different products and you may think, well, which one
should I be using that Amanda, talk to one of
our nutritional advisors and they will get you on that
right path. Now let's talk about detoxification. It's also tis

(34:18):
the season so greens age ex I have that on
special and to me, every day supporting our body's ability
to properly detoxify is so incredibly important. Once again, being
out at this conference and I went to one of

(34:39):
the the I guess sessions is what you would call it,
but they were talking about microplastics and you know how
it's just inundated every aspect of our lives. This isn't
something new. I mean I was talking about microplastics seven
years ago on the radio. And you know, we really
need to, you know, focus on daily detoxification. You have

(35:02):
to be very careful with what you're doing, what you're consuming,
what you're applying to your skin, you know, because sometimes
people don't realize that rate of exposure. And like I said,
when you can find microplastics in Antarctica, Like, how does
that get there? When you find microplastics in the snowy

(35:22):
mountains up in California, Like, that's a problem. So microplastics
are everywhere and we have to do what we can
each and every single day to try to combat that.
And this is where the green Saychex to me, is
such a great option because not only if you're taking

(35:46):
the greens Achex, you're getting coverage for where your diet
may be lacking and fruits and vegetables because the greens
Achex contains fruits and vegetable extracts so powerful antioxidants. You're
also getting that wonderful pro biotic blend. And this is
kind of important because in the session that I was attending,
this is one of the areas that they were really
zeroing in on. Is why the microbiome is so critical

(36:11):
to kind of the removal and the protection of our
entire system when it comes to microplastics. So having the
non dairy probiotic that's contained in the greens Chax, of
which it has strains that have been shown to help
with the kind of targeting and removal of microplastics, including

(36:34):
the Biffobathrum longum, the lactopisillius rhagnosis. This particular product is
great for this time of year because it's giving you energy,
it's giving you probiotic to support the immune system, but
it's really helping to rid the body of all the
clutter that we pick up along the way, including microplastics.

(36:56):
So having the inclusion of all of the different herbal
extracts in this, having the power of the chlrella and
the spiralina in this really allows our body to do
a much more efficient job at keeping our little tiny

(37:18):
liver cells quite happy in content each day. And we
know that the rise of non alcoholic fatty liver disease
continues to march onward to the degree that they call
it metabolic liver disease. Now it's the same thing, So

(37:39):
non alcoholic fatty liver disease or metabolic livercies. We have
to look at the foods. Clearly, ultra process foods are
playing an enormous role into this, but we also have
to look at the level of pollution that we are
exposed to on a daily basis, So whether that becomes

(38:00):
from chemical exposures coming from the microplastic exposures. In any event,
we definitely need to be turning to something that we
can take every single day that allows us to run
out all those bad things and keep ourselves energetic and clean.

(38:24):
And that's really what the greens HX is achieving for you.
And I know that there's a lot of fruit and
vegetable type products that are out there on the market.
Not everything is created the same, folks, So you know,
I always keep that in mind. When Jerry put together
the greens HX so many years ago, you know, he
really painstakingly went through each individual nutrient. Why it made

(38:49):
sense to include milk thistle into this formulation, Why did
it make sense to put in tumoric extract, in oregano extract,
in elf alpha. Why he put all of these things
in there, and to have this wonderful blend of the
fruits as well, having blueberry extract in this and a

(39:12):
wonderful citrus bioflavonoid complex. So our product has been around
for so long and is such a fan favorite. You know,
you can see all of the reviews on this product.
People love it. They start taking it, and you do,
you just have this sense of well being. It's a

(39:33):
great way to start your day off, is to take
one scoop of the greens HX and off to the
races you go, and you know you can rest assured.
You can say to yourself, hey, I know that by
taking this product, it's helping my body with the clearing
effect of you know, any of the pollutants that I'm
exposed to each and every single day. And you just

(39:56):
want to be cognizant about those things. I mean, we
you do live in a world where unfortunately, that level
of exposure I don't think is going to somehow correct
itself and we somew live in a cleaner environment in
ten years from now. I don't see that being the case.

(40:17):
But what we do know is that there are things
we can be doing as far as lifestyle modifications, dietary changes,
and the inclusion of powerful formulations such as the greens HX.
So remember GREENSHAX. You want to order that up today.
It's a buy one, get one free. You use that
promo code, Amanda Woor you get that additional ten percent off.

(40:40):
Same thing with the Energy HX, same thing with the
Shila GI. So all of those are on that buy one,
get one free plus ten percent off. But you have
to tell them when you call in or if you
go to the store, or if you're on our website,
you have to use that code Amanda wr in order
to get that additional ten percent off. Now that additional

(41:03):
ten percent off that applies to other products as well.
So if there's something that you need to pick up,
maybe vitam and see something like that that's not on
a radio special, you can still get ten percent off
of those as well. So just putting that out into
the universe. So now I want to shift focus a
little bit and look at the two driving problems when

(41:28):
it comes to chronic diseases in this country. So we
know that heart disease and diabetes the too often go
hand in hand. But these our big issues, and everyone
knows someone or everyone has those concerns of their own.
Maybe you've gone in and you've been told, yeah, you're

(41:48):
kind of wavering on that pre diabetes line, or you've
been told, yeah, you need to figure out a way
to get better control of your blood pressure, or hey,
you know your triglycerides were a little high over here
this time. Maybe your doctor tells you that you need
to work on some you know, dietary changes to improve

(42:09):
your cholesterol. Otherwise we're gonna have to put you on
a medication. I mean many, I don't know how many
folks I've talked to who have told me that, Hey, Amanda,
I just got back from my doctor. They did my
blood work. They want me to start taking medication. I'm
not comfortable with that. And I asked them if I
can have a little time to work on this myself.
And I always say, well, you drive your own ship, right,
So this is something that you know, always keep that

(42:31):
in mind. You have the power to decide, you know,
how you take action when it comes to your health.
And if you want to commit to making dietary changes,
if you want to commit to going on to a routine,
a supplement routine that is going to be geared towards

(42:53):
those specified concerns. So I had mentioned in the first
half hour if you were not with me, we have
renamed our sterols plus formulation to cholesterol defender plus. Why
did we rename this because it makes sense because this

(43:13):
is what that product is actually doing. It's helping the
body defend against excessive production and transport of cholesterol. So
when people would hear sterols, they're like, what does that mean?
So plant sterols and this is one of the components
of this product. Plant sterols have been shown to be

(43:34):
highly effective at allowing the body to have better control,
a regulation over how that cholesterol is being transported out
of the liver and circulating through our system. So this
is why the Cholesterol Defender Plus product contains the sterols.
And we also in this product have oat beta gluecan

(43:59):
in it. There's cranberry extract. You may say, what does
cranberry have anything to do with cholesterol. Well, powerful antioxidant
targets your LDL, which is your low density lipoprotein and
keeps those low density lipoproteins protected from oxidation. Oxidation within

(44:23):
your cholesterol is incredibly dangerous. We don't want that to happen.
So this is why the cranberry is contained in this
and the oat beta glucan. That's just it's so interesting
the way that oat beta glucans work not only for

(44:44):
the support of our immune system, but the oat beta
glucans actually can help to produce short chain fatty acids.
Kind of technical, not that you necessarily need to know that,
but it makes something known as butyrate. Butyrate in the
body works as like a natural a anti inflammatory, so
we can lessen inflammation within our circulatory system. That's a

(45:08):
good thing. So we're defending off the effects of excessive
cholesterol with this formulation, and this is why it is
now called Cholesterol Defender Plus. So I'm looking at the clock,
I realize I do need to squeeze in a quick break.
Remember Cholesterol Defender Greens HX Energy HX, Shila G fifty

Amanda Williams here Happy Saturday, talking about the the Cholesterol

(47:01):
Defender plus the combination of the oak beta glucan, the
cranberry extract. There's Reggye's rice, there is the power of
plant sterils. It's a powdered formulation so effective. This is
a go to for folks who have concerns with your cholesterol.

(47:24):
How do you take it? Take a scoop ideally in
the evening. Why do I say this cholesterol transports at night.
So even for those of you who might be on
a cholesterol lowering medication, you can still take this product
alongside of that. But if you're on a cholesterol lowering
medication a statin, it should say on your pill bottle

(47:44):
to take it. At night. There is a reason why
you take that at night, and that is because if
we want to have the biggest impact on how cholesterol
is going to be regulated or controlled, evening is the choice.
So this is the way I advise taking this. Take
it in the evening after dinner would be a wonderful time.

(48:08):
Do you need more than one scoop? It depends. Once again,
we want to talk to one of our nutritional experts
to really hone in on your particular needs. But generally speaking,
this is a powerful formulation. One scoop a day should
be sufficient. But I am very, very excited about the

(48:28):
change of this particular product when it comes to its name,
so Cholesterol Defender plus. The Journal of the American College
of Nutrition all the way back in nineteen ninety seven
looked at the effects of the beta glucans when it
comes to blood lipid levels. So this isn't something new.
There's a reason why this product is formulated. They found

(48:50):
that when they gave those beta glucans to individuals who
were struggling with elevations and total cholesterol and trigly rides,
that once they started to use this they could start
to see the lowering effects so there's a true beneficial
reduction of cholesterol with just taking just a small amount
of these oat beta glucans each day. And we recognize that,

(49:14):
you know, cholesterol isn't in and of itself our true enemy.
We have to have cholesterol. You don't want cholesterol levels
to be too low. That becomes a problem. But we
certainly can realize that if we do have excessive cholesterol,
how the damaging effects of that can happen within the
lining of the blood vessels and creating this higher amount

(49:36):
of inflammation and over time can put us into a
category of having a greater risk of a cardiovascular event.
So we definitely want to be able to avoid that. Now,
a nice partnering with the Cholesterol Defender Plus formulation is
a product like Beats HAX. You can certainly put the

(49:59):
two of those together, a scoop of the Beats scoop
of the Cholesterol Defender plus. That is completely fine. Sometimes
people ask that, can I, you know, blend these two
different products together. Yes, of course. If you're not sure,
ask one of our nutritionists and they will be able
to give you that guidance. So the Beats h X,

(50:22):
this is a combination of beetroot extract along with the
tart cherry extracts. The tart cherry extract that we use
in this is called Cherry Pure. This is a registered
trademark form of tart cherry extract. Certainly has been studied
in the setting of sports nutrition and shown to be

(50:42):
highly effective to work as an analgesic or a pain reliever.
So for individuals who are out there really pushing it
and they end up with some aches and pain, you know,
muscle aches and pains afterwards, that that tart cherry extract
can really lessen the amount of pain and discomfort. Now,
utilizing that in partnership with the beetroot extract does two

(51:04):
different things for us. We know that the beetroot extract
for sure is helping the body with the natural production
of nitric oxide. So the more nitric oxide that we
can produce, the better off we do in terms of
blood pressure regulation. Why because nitric oxide is required to

(51:25):
allow for vasodilation. So if we can get our blood
vessels to be in a more relaxed state, we get
better blood flow through those This is why people do
so well on this product when they have concerns with
you know, elevations in their systolic or their diastolic or both.

(51:46):
So systolic that's your top number, diastolic that's your bottom number.
So taking a scoop of this each day, whether we're
you know, gearing up for pre workout, post workout, if
you're thinking more in the athletic performance setting, definitely this
is a good choice. But we can also look and
see how beneficial this is because it has that tart

(52:08):
cherry extract. And you've probably heard me and I'll say
it again, but I love the fact that it's from
my home state. So the tart cherry extract that we
use it is from Traverse City, Michigan. And this is
always my public service announcement for if you've never been
to northern Michigan. And I'm not talking up in the

(52:30):
up which is the Upper peninsul but if you've never
been up to to northern Michigan, Traverse City, Patasky Harbor Springs,
please do that sometime. It's not that far for you
guys you're in New York, make a road trip out
of it, but go in either the summer or the fall.
Absolutely stunny, the colors up there. People are oftentimes taken

(52:52):
aback because and I lived in in the Caribbean. So
and I lived in a couple of different places in
the Caribbean. I'm telling you Lake Michigan, and summertime with
the sun, you really feel like you were like in
the Caribbean, and the color of the water absolutely just stunning.
So and this is where the tart cherry comes from.

(53:13):
So it's coming from Traverse City. Multiple clinical studies done
on that product. It's a really great partner in the
beat say checks with that cholesterol defender. Plus, now let's
think if we have other problems going on with our cholesterol,
and we have other problems going on with our blood pressure,

(53:36):
what else can we be doing well. Obviously, dietary changes,
lifestyle modifications, adherence to a Mediterranean diet is essential, truly,
truly essential. We also know that mindfulness techniques are very important.
So exercise is key, but you have to find an

(53:57):
exercise that you're going to stick with. This will help
with your stress reduction. And sometimes people think about exercising
and it just stresses them out. So you have to
find something that you know you're gonna enjoy doing and
something that'll be come part of your daily routine or
at least a few days on the week. So that
is also key to both cholesterol management and blood pressure regulation.

(54:23):
Now we have products like the cardio HX for example,
this is our number one product in the product line
that is geared towards the support of healthy blood pressure control.
So this is a partnering of magnesium touring and hawthorns.

(54:43):
So the hawthorn is really interesting because the hawthorn extract
works in a way to be what is known as
like a cardiotonic, and so that cardiotonic allows for the
proper pumping mechanism within the heart itself. So if the
chambers of the heart muscles are struggling with the pump,

(55:06):
so because remember this is a muscle that we're dealing with,
so if it's struggling with that, then this can lead
to a problem with blood pressure control. So this is
where that hawthorn extract has been shown to pack a
really powerful punch. We know that in many European countries

(55:27):
it is still utilized by cardiologists to this day. Is
actually like a prescription medication for the treatment of chronic
heart failure, congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, things like atrial fibrillation,
coronary artery disease, peripheral artery disease, as well as hypertension.
So here in the United States we have the great

(55:51):
fortune of being able to take a product like cardioahex
that contains hawthorn extract and bring that to you in
all of those well studied and effective ways in which
the hawthorn extract is working. Another one of the interesting
studies that was done, and this was, oh goodness, this

(56:14):
has to be well over a decade ago on hawthorn
extract was in that setting of targeting oxidized LDLs. And
because think about this, hawthorn is a powerful antioxidant. So
you're utilizing the hawthorn for the muscle support of the

(56:37):
heart and to get proper you know, pumping. But they
started to look at it and he said, well, because
it's this really strong antioxidant, we're actually seeing an improvement
in cholesterol. And one of the main things that they
could see was that the level of oxidized ld ls

(57:01):
was coming down. Remember, oxidized LDLs are a problem. Now
you might be sitting there going, oh, I wonder if
I have oxidized LDLs. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't know
because I'm pretty sure your doctor has not tested that.
Doctors don't look at oxidized LDL. They just do a

(57:23):
standard cholesterol panel, which doesn't really tell you much. It
gives you a total, but it's you're kind of running
scared at that point. You're like, I'm not sure is
this is this a problem? Is this not a problem.
Having oxidized LDL levels tested is so key. And in

(57:43):
this study with Hawthorn extract, they could see that hawthorn
actually had these active ways to actually lessen inflammation, so
they said, okay, we can kind of put it into
a category as an anti inflammator. But also the way
in which it was really targeting the oxidized LDL levels,

(58:08):
which to me, I think is a very important takeaway
and why this particular product is so effective. So when
people are using the cardioa checks which contains the amino
acid touring, which is known to help with longevity, so
you know, maybe you don't even have an issue when

(58:29):
it comes to to blood pressure, but you're just looking
for something that's going to give you some exposure to
magnesium touring, the kind of touted as being the anti
aging amino acid along with a hawthorn extract. It's a
really great combination formulation. Touring we know works within the

(58:51):
excitable tissues in the body, so in the central nervous
system in the brain, and of course in the heart
where there is a high energy output or a high
demand of that energy. So this is what the CARDIOHX is.
This this very powerful mixture of magnesium touring and hawthorn extract.

(59:11):
So really great product to have on board just for
the overall health of not just the circulatory system and
the heart, but even for brain health. We know touring's
really important when it comes to those connectivity or those
connection points within the brain. And then really looking at

(59:32):
oh for folks, this is just a little side benefit
of this product, folks who have tonitis. This is a
product that I turn to quite often. So if someone says, hey, Amanda,
I'm dealing with like ringing in the ears, and there's
different types of tonitis that exists, clearly, but this is
a product that I will turn to and I'll say,

(59:53):
you know what, start taking some of the CARDIOHX because
that combo of the magnesium touring plus that hawthorn can
be really helpful in those settings. So how many should
you take? I would do it in a split dose.
So if we're not dealing with a blood pressure issue,
we're just dealing with the tonightis. I would do that
in a split dose of one tab twice a day. However,

(01:00:16):
if you find that that ring in the ears or
that wushing sound is significantly worse at night, than I
would take two in the evening, and also taking Cohen's
im Q ten. There is another little trick there for
for those who are dealing with tonightis. So anyways, I

(01:00:37):
need to squeeze in a quick break. I realized I'm

(01:02:27):
to Invite Health Radio. I am doctor Amanda Williamson. It
is Saturday morning. We are talking fun nutrition. We have
to make nutrition and wellness a positive thing, folks. So
we've already clipped through. We went through Shila G fifty max.
All of the many ways we can use that power

(01:02:49):
antioxidant number great for hair, skin and nails, great for
hormone balance, great for energy, immune system, has anti inflammator,
anti viral, anti microbial properties to it. Talk about the
energy HX and how that ENERGYHAX, the partnering, the marrying
together of the konica ubiquinal along with the gen sing,

(01:03:13):
how that really packs the punch, Especially right now if
you are listening and you say, yes, Amanda, I have
been struggling this week with low energy because of the
time change. Go get yourself some energy HX. Start taking this,
telling you you will feel that difference, and there's no

(01:03:34):
caffeine in this, so you're not gonna have that jittery effect.
And gen sing, by the way, is not just for energy.
I think this is kind of one of those common
misnomers when you think of different herbal extracts. Gensing is
a very powerful immuno modulatory extract. So when you're thinking

(01:03:59):
along the line of the immune system, So it's not
just to you know, fight off the effects of low energy,
but for folks who are dealing with you know, thyroid dysfunction,
things like that hypoactive thyroid, this product is excellent having
the the ubiquenol in this along with that gen sying.

(01:04:22):
But we clearly can see how how gensyng really allows
the body to you know, fight off those levels of
stress that can in turn lower our immune defenses. We
don't want that to happen, so many studies even with
gensyng when it comes to cardiovascular health and promoting healthy

(01:04:46):
blood pressure. So that's why the all the different products
that I put on special today all kind of have
a similar utilization when it comes to the support for
blood sugar regulation, when it comes to the support of
blood pressure and overall circulatory support targeting issues with cholesterol

(01:05:08):
for example. So so the energy HX is one of
those products in our product line that I think is
a great add on. As I mentioned, if you're already
taking our ubiquen al coke ten, you may think, well,
why do I need this? Trust me, getting additional ubiquen
all for yourself throughout the day is not a bad idea,

(01:05:29):
you know, Getting upwards to you know, two hundred milligrams
per day is certainly something that would be uh incredibly
advantagious for you. So let me pivot now and let
us talk about NATO. So nato kinase. This is such

(01:05:52):
a interesting product. It's nato extract combined with sarah pep today's.
So sarah pep today's works as a proteolytic enzyme. So
what does that mean. It goes through and it finds

(01:06:12):
inflammation and low levels of inflammation and it helps to
kind of gobble that up. And that's key because we
don't want to have chronic, low grade inflammation not ideal.
So using the natokinase plus formulation that we offer leads

(01:06:34):
to a couple of different really powerful cardiovascular benefits and
brain health benefits for us. In particular in the way
in which nato has been studied across the board, whether
that be in the setting of chronic venus and sufficiency,
looking at peripheral artery disease, high blood pressure, we can

(01:06:58):
certainly see the the powerful impact that natokinase has. But
then you look at the sarah pep today's and how
this has equally been shown to be heavy heavy handed
when it comes to fighting off the effects of aging
and minimizing the negative effect of inflammation that happens within

(01:07:22):
our circulatory system as well as neuroinflammation that occurs in
the brain. So if we're thinking of brain health. You
may not have thought, oh, the natokinase plus formulation from
invite health, maybe I should look at that one. But
I'm just letting you know that both of those nutrients
have been studied in the setting of cognitive function and
brain connectivity. So NATO itself is derived from the fermentation

(01:07:51):
of NATO. And when you look at Asian culture and
the diets in many Asian countries, you will see that
they have a high consumption of NATO. Now some of
this shifted a little bit, yes, because of the influence
of like the standard American diet even making its way

(01:08:13):
to different Asian countries. Yes, but traditionally speaking, the high
consumption of NATO in their diets naturally led to a
higher level of cardiovascular protection, which is really quite important

(01:08:35):
when you look at the big picture. So how is
the NATO working to protect the cardiovascular system. Well, it's
targeting fibrin So if we have access fibrin or say,
if you go in and you have your fibrinagen level tested,
and once again this is one of those things that
know your doctor's not testing fibrinagen, you would have to

(01:08:58):
ask for them to test that. So if you have
high levels of fibrinagen. What that basically, in a very
simple way of thinking about it, it means that your
blood is kind of sticky. We don't want to have
sticky blood. Sticky blood is not blood that flows through

(01:09:20):
our vessels easily. And if you have sticky blood and
you have high blood pressure, this is like a ding
ding ding alarms going off. So we want to be
able to regulate that, and we want to make sure
that we have the proper viscosity that were our blood

(01:09:41):
isn't too sticky. And this is what that NATO can
actually provide for us. So it's really very fascinating the
way in which the NATO is working. It's also been
studied in the setting of blood pressure regulation, so multiple
cl trials in that setting of cardiovascular health. When it

(01:10:04):
comes to NATO, and I really enjoy talking about this
product because I recognize that when someone starts to use this,
it really is going to help to support proper blood
flow and good circulation in the entire body. It's not
just somehow limited to the cardiovascular system or to the

(01:10:27):
brain for example, So it's protecting the endothelial cells of
all of your blood vessels. We know that NATO itself,
you know, is what is considered in the natural world
to be a very powerful fiber analytic. So it helps
to break down that fibrine so that we get a

(01:10:47):
higher amount of support when it comes to proper thickness.
Let's just call it of the blood. Now, this also
has a bioflavonoid in It has rootin in it, so
you have the sarah peptidase's going through and gobbling up inflammation.
You have the routine in this and this is helping
once again to protect yourselves from oxidative stress and damage.

(01:11:12):
We can see how this triple nutrient combination that's contained
in the natokines, how that's actually working to really facilitate
a powerful effect on every single system. I remember reading
a study over a decade ago on how natokinase was

(01:11:33):
being looked at as being a potential intervention in that
setting of age related memory decline and even in the
setting of Alzheimer's disease. And this was quite fascinating because
what really caught my eye in this was it wasn't
that it was just the NATO that they were researching.

(01:11:56):
They looked at the partnering. Okay, listen, to this for
a second. They listened to they looked at the partnering
of nato kines along with sarah peptidase ding ding ding.
What is in the invite health Nato kines plus formulation
NATO and sarah peptides. So this study was set up

(01:12:17):
to look at the way in which these two nutrients
would have a positive impact on brain tissue, on the
brain cells and that connectivity, those different points where neuroinflammation
has led to damage and loss of connection. So this

(01:12:39):
is something that for me, being that I love neurology,
I think anything in the brain is really quite fascinating.
So you see study after study that have been conducted
on both NATO and sarah peptidas and how these can
be incredibly supportive. So not just for you know, the

(01:13:00):
lessening of cardiovascular risk because of the fibrinogen issue that
we know exists, but really seeing how this systemic benefits
of natokines are working. So for folks who you know,
have someone that they know who had a DDT deep
main thrombosis and are put on you know, blood fetters

(01:13:22):
for the rest of their life. So in other countries
they may not utilize or have accessibility. Let's just say
to using those powerful anti quaglant anti platelet medications. So
in turn, they use natokinase. And this is something that

(01:13:45):
has certainly been studied in detail, and there was a
research group over in Italy that actually did a I
think I believe this was they did this study over
the course of a few weeks, but basically what they

(01:14:07):
wanted to see was people who are prone to developing
DDTS while flying. So if you're on a long flight
and you're just kind of sitting there stagnant and you're
not getting up and you're not moving around, so DDT's
post long flights and we're talking you know, any type
of a flight seven eight hours put you at a
much higher risk of developing a deep vein thrombosis. So

(01:14:31):
the aim of this study that they set up in
Italy was to evaluate, you know, can this NATO if
we give these individuals NATO kines prior to their flight,
prior to this eight hour flight, and then we look
at their fibernagen levels pre and posts, is this going
to make a difference? And sure enough, I mean, they
could see the true impact that NATO kines had on

(01:14:54):
regulating healthy fiber inactivity. So I mean the proof is
in the science, and the science definitely shows us that
the NATO Kainse plus formulation that we offer packs a
very powerful punch for brain health, for heart health, and
just for overall systemic support. So remember, if you are

(01:17:09):
back and by Health Radio. I am doctor Amanda Williams.
We're in our last segment. Guys, it just went by
very fast, so let me kind of recap once again.
What's on special? Shila G fifty max. We have the
energy HAX. That's the marrying of your ubiquin all along
with the gensaying have the greens ahax. Think microplastics, folks,

(01:17:34):
how do we avoid them? Very difficult too. Yes, we
can make smarter choices as far as food packaging and
you know, the different things that you're putting on your hair, skin,
you know, the clothes. I mean, there's a lot of
microplastics and clothes just you know, sorry to have to
inform you of that, but they're everywhere. So we know this.
But we also know we can turn to a product

(01:17:55):
like greens Hax, which can allow our liver the ability
to kind of combat that has the wonderful blend of
those probiotics, so great for the immune system, but also
really great for helping to kind of go in and
find those microplastics and say, you know what, you don't
need to be hanging out in my blood vessels. It's

(01:18:19):
it's kind of interesting how just in this past year,
how many studies have made it to like national headline
news about oh gosh, you know, they've tested all of
these Americans and they have plastics in their brain, they
have plastics in their arteries. Yes, there's plastics everywhere, you know.

(01:18:40):
I think they equivolated like that each year, like you
eat like a credit card or something. I would have
to look that up, but it's in any case, I mean,
who wants to even have like a tiny corner of
a credit card and have to eat that. I mean,
it's just but we know our environment is definitely flooded

(01:19:02):
with microplastics, so we can do better. And we know
that the nantokinase plus that's another great way, you know,
to make sure that our vessels are moving things through.
We have that sticky blood that's not good, especially in
the setting of microplastic exposure. So now I have two
more products that I want to discuss today. One is

(01:19:24):
the performance multivitamin because kind of on the back of
energy achacks and with the time change and people feeling
a little bit off and maybe a little lethargic, we
can adder an energy achacks, but we can also switch
If you're not using a multivitamin, you need to be,

(01:19:46):
but we can also switch up our routine for this
time of year and switch over to the performance multivitamin.
Perhaps you're using our Core Multi or the men's or
the women's. You can look at that performance multivitamin and
the powerful blend of those B active vitamins. So you're

(01:20:07):
getting the methyl folight, you're getting methacobolamin in this you
get that full spectrum natural vitamin E which is yielding
you a high amount of antioxidants. You get that wonderful
iehealth blend in this with leutine and zeaxanthin, so wonderful
on just the multi vitamin multimineral component to this, and

(01:20:27):
of course we use the keylated minerals to enhance the absorption.
But what makes this product unique is it has the
rodeola extract along with SOD, so SOD is superoxide dismutase.
So this is a naturally occurring antioxidant in the body,

(01:20:48):
and it does a great job with regulating the body's
response to free radicals, so free radicals that works to
from our external environment, but also free radicals that build
up internally. We know that sometimes free radicals can do

(01:21:11):
damage within our blood vessels, and this is where we
see the true effectiveness of SOD as a naturally occurring
antioxidant is the way in which it protects our vascular system.
And I've talked about the studies before in the past
where they've taken diabetics and they tested their serum SOD

(01:21:31):
levels and they could see that the lower that their
SOD levels were, the greater likelihood that they had carotid
artery stenosis, So that means that they're crotid artery the
main vessel that's traveling up to your brain, that that
had thickness that was occurring, which means less blood flow,
less oxygen making its way to your noggin. Not a

(01:21:52):
good thing. So this is why the performance multi vitamin.
I always categorize this as being not only are athletic multi,
So for those who are working out want the benefit
of the Rodiola extract along with that sod for muscle
recovery and energy production. I look at this product as

(01:22:16):
being the go to for anyone out there who has
concerns when it comes to heart health or when it
comes to blood sugar control. This product is a supercharger,
so the Rodiola is going to help drive that energy.
So for folks who are dealing with cardiovascular disease and

(01:22:38):
folks who are dealing with problems with low energy states.
Anyone who is a diabetic likely is not running around
saying I have all of this energy, I feel really good.
That's usually not the case. People who have thyroid dysfunction
usually are not running around going I have all of
this energy, I feel really good. Good. We have to

(01:23:02):
find ways to encourage healthy sell energy production. We know
that Rodola can do that for us. We know that
this adrenal adaptogenic herb is working in a way to
really drive sell energy production, which is a wonderful thing,

(01:23:26):
a really wonderful thing. And we know it helps to
modulate the body's response to stress, so it works within
the hypothalmus pituitary adrenal access where all of that stress
is being driven up. So we can take a multi
vitamin that is supportive to our circulatory system, that is

(01:23:50):
supportive to our brain, that is helping with muscle recovery,
helping with energy production, and at the same time keeping
our blood vessels nice and happy. So definitely, the Performance
multivitamin across the board is my number one go to

(01:24:14):
multi in our product line because it's so befitting of
so many individuals. Why it would make sense for you
to take the Performance Multi. Now, finally, I have one
more product that is on special today and that is
the GLUCOHX. Now hy GLUCOHX. How many people out there

(01:24:40):
are struggling once again with blood sugar control issues many
and because of that you have to look and say,
what can I be doing? What should I take every day.
GLUCOHX is that comprehensive blend of nutrients that allows the
body to respond better to spikes in blood sugar. So

(01:25:05):
that's on special today, along with the Performance Malta, the
Nato Kaines plus the CARDIOAHX Cholesterol Defender plus any of
those products. Use that promo code Amanda WOR and if

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
