video shows always go speaking with ZeVA, take care of Thank you, mister
Mayor. You're listening to Talk Linewith Zev Brenner, America's premier Jewish broadcast
on the year since nineteen eighty one. Now welcome back to the program,

(05:08):
Momsev Brenner. It's always a treatto speak to Gabe Geller. He's the
education manager. He knows everything aboutwines for ket and wine. So good
to have you back again, Niceto speak with you. How is your
summer? How about yours? Tooshort? I'm ready to start all over
again. I don't know where itwent. You know, the summer is
one thing that I would take itback. It's you know now our temperatures,

(05:30):
I guess now are immediate. No, absolutely, it's been a heat
wave. We've been hot now andI can't believe the summer is over Russia,
Shanna, I'm kipper. The wholehigh holiday season is upon it that
see her is early. It's neveron time. It's either early or late.
I think next year is going tobe late, so they're gonna be
early. So people and now finallythat school has started, Yeshiva has begun

(05:55):
people back from vacation. They're focusingon jun Tiff, They're focusing on the
perch to get the food, thewines. So what's new for this Russiashana?
What me for? You know?Every time I ask that, and
you know, I could have apress leaves. I don't know if you
get it. We could have pressedleaves, you know, with new wines,
new wineries, and there's there's justso many that, you know,

(06:16):
you cannot compile it into a pressrelease like that. I think that we
have added some very interesting wines fromnew regions that were not explored before,
you know, as far as Scotiawine is concerned. For instance, we
have the Toddros wines from Greece, from the island of Sammo's very interesting wines.

(06:40):
It's three white wines. There isa dry white, there's a many
dry, and there's a sweet white. They are old maids on the Musket
grape and it's actually very educational. You know, you mentioned that I'm the
wine education manager. So you havethree wines from the same winery, from
the same region, from the samegrape, but you have three different levels

(07:01):
of sweetness. And it's very importantto notice and to highlight a point because
I've always asked, what about thatthreest thing and I don't want something sweet.
Well, there's that preconception. Manypeople think that a certain great variety
different types of wines are necessarily sweetor necessary dry, and our cabinets on

(07:25):
is going to be dry or restingis going to be sweet. And that's
uh, that's completely wrong because youcan really make a wine in any style
uh that you like, from anyfrom from any great variety. So that's
uh, that's the deal with thoseTodros wines really something that I highly encourage

(07:45):
everyone who listens to to try becausethey're they're really different. My favorite of
the three is the dry, whichis the Toodro's banana and it's uh it's
something special different. Uh it's aheaviery body. And what's interesting is the
background behind it. You have theJewish community which is a small community now

(08:09):
which has a great history and pretragic history because the Greek Jews or Satardi
from Teslniki, we're heavily hit duringthe Holocaust and many of them are deported
uh and died and we're murdered. And there's a small community remaining and they

(08:33):
really got together in partnership with RoyalWine to produce those those cultural wines.
And it's really amazing that we havethose wines today and really tried. And
for Shanna especially, there is asweet wine there's not dud. It's gold
whichween sweet wine French Greek, andit's it's a delicious desert wine that's will

(08:58):
go great if you're apple and honeyand all your dessert and sweet dishes and
russa sea. So, Gabe,I know you told us about some of
your favorite wines. What wines willbe gracing your Russia show on the table
both nights. There is a winethat I waited for so long to be
made in Kosure. It's called PiloboiSanset Red. So it's a kin no

(09:20):
noir from the sans Air appellation, which is part of the War Valley in
France. They are somewhat similar instyle to the kino noir from Burgundy,
but they're much more affordable, andthat's something really exciting and delicious wine.
Really, if you want to discoverwhat elegant French kin nooir is not about,

(09:45):
but you don't want to spend ahundred dollars or more, this is
the wine that's right. It's notcheap, but it's about forty dollars,
which is uh, you know something, you know you can splurge down,
perhaps for holiday Rshashana and really discoverthe joys of refined people. War sounds
like you. There's always a lotof good choices, and I when looking

(10:09):
forward to our next installment, wherethere'll be a lot more days of the
Soka salaries so people can try awhole diff of variety. We'll talk about
that right after Russia. Shanna, let me take this opportunity to wish you
and your family a good, healthy, sweet new Year. Shamatukat Well the

(13:50):
best year, the holiest, mostprecious year. You're listening to talk Line
with Zev Brenner, America's premier Jewishbroadcast on the year since nineteen eighty one.
And now here's your host, Amabrak. But he's program sponsored and brought
you by Rabbi Shiah. He's Iknow Rabi Shiek for so many years.

(14:11):
In fact, he used to liveon the West Side. He missed him
and his wife Rebutson Baylu when theylived on the West Side. He certainly
added to the community. But whereverhe is, he's a great addition.
And we had him last week andthis week he's back. He's a member
of a very distinguished family of fourthgeneration American Jews rabbi scholars. He's one
of the twelve children of the eminentRabbi Jacob Jhek and Rebertson Kabahecto Blessed Memory.

(14:33):
Formerly a d programmer, Rabbi Shiahas broadened his focus directing the multi
faceted Jewish educational organization, the NationalCommittee for the Furtherance of Jewish Education.
He's currently a life strategist, familycounselor, specializing in crisis counseling. He
still specializes in calls. His firstbook is called Confessions of a Jewish cult

(14:54):
Buster and his second book is calledWhatever it Takes Restore Hope. Great stories.
He's been out there in the fields. He can tell you great stories,
and we're going to share some ofthem on this very very special broadcast.
But first let me welcome again fora second week. And we got
a tremendous reaction from last week's show. I'm sure you also got a lot

(15:15):
of feedback as well. Correct suretovaguttabos to use zavan the wonderful audience.
Let me say to you something Idid not realize. People were calling me.
I have golf on Eric to Sorrow. I had two calls from two
people in Florida who have watched theshow. Actually won't told me you watched
it afterwards. I don't know exactlyyou heard it live of afterwards, but

(15:37):
talk like communication is definitely out there, and of course from my own local
people community today, I live inGrown Heights. Many many people came to
me. Most people gave me alot of hissock, said they agreed with
me, and a few told methey thought I didn't ring across my points
strong enough. Perhaps I was alittle too excited. I wasn't a lot

(16:00):
of pain last out of the nightwhen you listen to parents tell you their
stories, and the way I wastaught to be a good Rabbi and a
good therapist is you need to feelfor that person's pain. You need to
feel for that person's problem, andthen I gives you the brother of hatslava
of helping that person if you don'tfeel for that person. As a tremendous

(16:23):
story with the fourth Lebarbashi had twochildren. One was known as the Razza
and one was known as the Rashab, who lady became ready. Now the
result was a year and a halfolder than the Desha. And they're ones

(16:45):
playing a game. Children play games, so what do you play? So
they said, hey, let's playready and cast it. And the Raza,
being he was the older brother ofzalman Ayan the heat with a iron,
he said, listen, I'm gonnabe the rebb and you u the
Shabbambert Dolbert, You're going to bethe fussed Okay. So it came into

(17:08):
it the Rebb and he said, wilsten, I need to get some advice.
I need to get some hot rofa. You know, I need have
a problem and I have to cometo the Rebbe. So it made up
a little problem. Shab says Dan. You didn't thefts, you didn't sigh,
you didn't identify with my pain. And because of this, you know,

(17:29):
ever, my question is no question, your answer is no answer.
You're not at ever. So Iknow one of the most important things when
you counsel people, when you guidepeople either as a therapist or as a
rabbi, and I know in therapyand in psychology they teach very different.
The only way I know I'm goingto reach the person, help the person,
inspire the person is to have tofeel for their pain. And last

(17:52):
week I saw in front of memany many parents in tremendous, mendous pain
because they lost their children. Andthat's why perhaps I was a little bit
loud forthcoming. But hopefully we'll addresssome of those issues towards the end of
this program. And boy, Ihave some things that I'm not that I

(18:12):
MoMA my own. And yes, this program, thanks to ZEV, is
sponsored by the National Committee for theFurther in Students Education. My bosses thought
it was important that we have thisprogram to be able to bring There were
many, many things that were notbrought out clearly last week, and some
of the things were simply and Idid not have an opportunity to speak.

(18:36):
Now very interestingly that our subct title, you know, restoring hope, because
many of us who go through variousdifferent sorties, particularly with problems within our
family, we feel that, youknow, we don't have who to go
to or even if we get thehelp. Nothing's going to help. And

(18:56):
I write over a hundred stories withinthis book that ended in a positive way.
And I'm hoping that this will inspireother parents and Mahanachen to realize it
really pays to invest, It reallypays to try to help because you can
and will be successful. And inthe book you talk about not just cults,

(19:18):
talking about people with the gunas whichmeans they have trouble getting a koshed,
divorce from their husband, dealing withdrug addiction, and some afflictions of
society with racial tensions, etc.See cover a lot of different grounds of
fact. I neglected to mention thatyou are also a radio broadcast or you
are WWRREL. You did some programwith us over the years. So before

(19:41):
you get to some of the cultthings, how do you end up on
the black radio station in New York? In nineteen ninety one, after the
riots that took place in Crown Heights, I was position sort of and chosen
to be the spokesperson of one ofthe spokespeople for the Kron Heights community.
I therefore started working with many leaderswithin the black community, namely doctor Edison

(20:04):
ol Jackson, who was the presidentof met Gavers at that time, and
we developed a true real friendship andwe worked on many many initiatives what today
they're doing around the city and othercities with between Jews and Blacks or Blacks
and Jews, and were very, very successful at that time. Of course,

(20:25):
it was under the leadership of theborough president of that time, and
he really did men's man, HowardGolden. He really inspired us and we
inspired others. I remember walking thehalls of Congress together with President ol Jackson
to try to see to get moreyouth core jobs for the Belgian Granites.

(20:48):
But after developing that relationship, soI had a name out there within the
black community as well as a personlooking to forster relationships and being peace to
our city and harmony within the peoplewithin our city, similar to what the
Rev when it spoke to when Dinkinscame and said I'm going to try to
bring peace between the two communities, the Revery said, no, it's one

(21:11):
community. So adopting that philosophy fromthe Lapappat Rev. And of course working
for those four years, I hada name out there and it was a
few years later that they invited meto be a co host first with Philippe
Luciano and then with Karen Hunter. It was two great years. I had
four hours a day on the radio, five days a week, and spoke

(21:36):
to all New Yorkers, interviewed tensof people from all walks of life,
from all different countries, in factsand in fact we had a queen that
we once interviewed, princes and princesses. It was really very very really a

(21:57):
very very nice time. Two runthat ex went extremely well, and I
do write about that. How Igot the job and how I lost the
job. By the way, whenthey let me go as well, why
let you go? I'm not sureif they had it in their in their
intention to let me go, becauseit sort of worked out. But it

(22:18):
was more about at that time thecarbon testing. We're talking about how old
the world was. There was alsosome arguments, you know, people within
the black community sometimes create an allianceor a common denominator between the what's going
on in Israel and what's going onother places of the world, particularly with

(22:38):
the PLLO, and what they don'tunderstand is that it's a very very different
story when you talk about the detailsof you know, a two state solution.
You know, you can't rate Manhattaninto four different states. Okay,
from Wall Street to thirty second Street, we'll give it a to one group.
From thirty second to fifteen ninth willgive it to another thing, and

(23:02):
etc. But many of the storiesthat I write about, yes, and
I do write about our gunnis. One of the reason why I write about
it is because I want people, many many people who are either suffering or
talking about they are gonna problem.Say there are no rabbis that stepped forward.
That's not true. I myself,my father before me, he drained
me and taught me, and manymany that but him. I've been outspoken.

(23:23):
Many may have him have done evenbeyond the letter of the law.
We can It's questionable, I'll sayit this way, questionable if it was
legal what they did. In fact, I write about a story about how
he held a young lady get herget You can question if it was legal.
Can you share the story with uswhat happened? Well, there was

(23:44):
a Besden that had the bravery toPaskin clayfernisite and which means you forced the
person to give again. Certain, but they did him today are well today
right now with after two what tookplace about seventeen years ago with the FBI.

(24:04):
It changes some of the landscaping, but before that it was there were
referring to the arrest of Robby mentalLepsine, who helped coorse people to give
a get using you know, sometimesbeatings and other methods. So he got
himself incarcerated over that, unfortunately, but there was a kite for nice say,
and there was a shop in place. They grabbed the young men brought

(24:30):
him to a safe house, andit was very interesting by the way he
immediately says I want to give aget. He immediately says, you know,
I want to make sure that theyget this kosher. And so it's
interesting that even though some of thesemen play hardball and say I'm not going
to give a get, in truththey know they're not married. They really
want to give to get them moveon with their life. I also speak

(24:55):
about predators within our community. Yousee, sometimes times rabbis have to do
the thing that not necessarily the mostpopular thing. And when I fight against
Jewish cults, it was likewise thesame thing. The pressure that I received
from my friends, never mind myenemies that say, hey, Shia,

(25:17):
you're you're on the wrong side overhere there was a cult known as the
Call of the Chauffeur that was amongstthe from a community you were going on.
You went on it two day seminar. Why they did it set up
on Chavis, I don't know, but it was Chaps and Sunday and the
two day seminar. And they didmany other things I called stool isolation of

(25:42):
you don't know. They take awayyour watch so you don't know what time
it is, the controlling of time, et cetera. And many of the
people they also when they went out, they were sworn to secrecy. You
were not allowed to say what happenedduring those for just the cult that preyed
on Crown Heights individuals, Yes itdid. And unfortunately was it a Jewish

(26:03):
run cult? It was, Yes, it was. It was a religious
or religious Jews that basically ran thecult. They got endorsements of rabbis,
isn't isn't that quite quite interesting?Rabbis gave the endorsements to it. Rabbis
attended it, said they felt itwas very good and very helpful. What

(26:26):
did they do? What was theraised on the entrance of this group?
What was their selling point? Idon't want to I don't want to spend
a lot of time talking about it. The bottom line is the hundreds of
yunga light, which is a terminologyfor young men black hatters, went for
seminars. This was going on forcult to a year's time and until I

(26:49):
was actually I was somewhat forced.I can't even say take the credit for
it, but I was forced totake a position. And they said,
hey, you're the cultbuster, theman with the experience. You better speak
up and you better really tell thetruth what you really believe. And I
called it a cult, and that'sexactly what it was. We ended up
having a don. Interesting how historyrepeats itself. There was a tribunal of

(27:14):
rabbis to listen to both sides, and this time, not like recently,
This time both sides did show up. So uh, Simcla I don't want
to say his last name. Ofthe cult had a group of people.
He had psychiatrist in the college,He had rabbis with him in the role.

(27:36):
I showed up to the to thedon the first time I came all
along. I didn't know they wantto stack the place. I thought it
was me against him. Rabbi DavidCohen was the rov who sat together with
Rabbi rum Twerski all of our showomthe psychia psychiatrist, and and at the
end they actually and clothed himself. But at a certain point they asked their

(28:00):
questions that Robbie dvid Cohen said, and Robert Goodvin Cohen basically said, I'm
not putting in a writing. Idon't put anything in writing in the last
fifteen years. But I'm saying peopleare not allowed to follow you in this
therapy or self help group. Again, very similar to what's what is happening

(28:22):
now. There are rabbis who gaveendorsements. Do they know anything about cults?
No? What they even told theword about cults? No, but
they have given endorsements, and thereforeit must be good. Maybe not.
You know, as we moved it, I want to talk about my book
again for another few minutes, andthen we'll get out to talk about some
of the bombshells that I have toshare with We're spending everybody. She half

here's your host. Welcome back tothe program, Moms Brenner. Our guest
is robed by shea Half. Thesecommunity leader activists, a member of distinguished
Families, written two books. Oneis called Confessions of a Jewish Cultbuster.
The other one is called Whatever itTakes Restoring Hope. Okay, let's turn

(34:25):
back to rob By shea Half.Okay, I just want to back and
if we can blug the book ifyou can't get it in your local Jewish
bookstore. By the way, thatsome adult material in the second book,
I want to tell you right now, so you may not want your children
to read it, but it's somethingthat families I think need to know some
of the things that are going onand some of the people that are helping

(34:49):
and fight some of these situations. But you can contact our office. I
worked for an NCFJD National Committee.Further in Jewish education. Address is that
eight two four Reason Parkway. Theirtelephone number for the general number is seven
one eight seven three five zero twozero zero at zero two zero zero.

(35:12):
If you want to contact me directly, you can call me at seven one
eight seven three five zero two twothree. You can leave a message,
or you can speak to my assistantand uh and if I will get back
to you from there, of courseI'll have the pleasure of talking to you,
or else I'll get back to youwithin with the proper of you know,

(35:34):
in a reasonable time. And mydad, we don't have anybody from
the ashiva tonight. We had lastweek. So you're telling people about your
findings. Obviously there are people whosupport with the ashiva. They're people who
feel like you, that the Ashivais a cult. But I'd like you
to address some people said they haveto last week. Sabaha is that sometimes
you have a charismatic ashiva, noton only this one you're referring to in

(35:57):
Great Neck, but you have Rebeim. That's say, listen to kids that
are coming in come from not sucha religious background, they become more religious
new ashiva. They tell the kids, you know, to dissociate themselves from
the parents. So what differentiates this, particularly from other groups that may do
similar things. What makes one agroup and one makes a man a cult?
A lot of people ask me questions. I addressed it to you.

(36:19):
No. A young lady last weekwhen I said I don't want to use
the word cult, she said, listen, come, come on, Rabat,
give us a break. We're smartenough to understand the word cult.
I mean, some of us areso invehisticated and very well read. And
in fact she's right. But withinmy community, I'm not sure I can
say that for all the people. Some of our people, English is not
the first language. They don't understandthe word cult. That Abano one expert

(36:42):
spoke too. They said, whatis the word called? But let me
just say the following. One ofthe big, big differences. And those
associated with this Yeshiva will appreciate whatI'm saying more than others, and that
is, if you're ready, istelling you to lie to your parents or
to lie to the world out there, then there's a problem. There's a

(37:07):
problem. Listen as signing letter allall all in letter a sign that's nothing
new. Kasida used to do that. Exaviscstros tell everybody, yes, that's
what we do. Oh you don'tlike it, don't send your son here.
You don't like it, you canleave the eshiva. That these are
things you don't What do you haveto lie about it? You can say,

(37:29):
hey, yes we have the brownhouses, we drink a lot of
mashka, We drink a lot ofwhiskey. You know what, that's not
the first Listen any Russian Asiden,We'll tell you they drink a lot of
whiskey. So, but when youstart telling your followers that they should lie
to their families or they should lieto the public, I have a problem.

(37:50):
So answer with as followers, Yes, what you said. A chrismatic
leader, that's a good thing.I sham bless you with charisma, sham
bless you with the ability to teainspired to uplift. And by the way,
most cult leaders are great guys, brilliant minds. And listen, how
did they get to where they getthrough? They wouldn't be able to get

(38:10):
there if they didn't have all thosequalities. How you separating the Some might
listen when you hear people come backfrom Israel the term or religious parents say,
oh, they belong to a conceitedgroup, they belonged to a cult,
they became a balchu where they wereculled. People toss around that word
as you probably never ibature. Youhave right. That's why I want to
stay away from that word. Butand listen, I've been I've been accused

(38:32):
of being in a cult, beinga cult leader, etcetera. And that's
why I say away from the word. But the points like this when the
yeshiva, when you have a yeshivaof thirty bach and fifteen sets of parents
are complaining, that's a little bitof a problem I run about chulvia yeshiva.
I know all like what the percentageis of how many people would complain

(38:53):
to say it about that? Sowhen you have half of your student body
or they're told clearly to isolate themselvesfrom the family of origin, which is
a red flag if you've seen one, because that's one of the first thing

(39:14):
what couldst do. They will separateyou, They will divide you from your
family of origin. And of coursethe next thing is this new group becomes
your family. And that's why thereis a certain faber shop that there's certain
actus, there's a certain spirit ofunity within the ashiva, which is great,

(39:35):
but again you have to measure itto the backdrop. You have to
measure it to the people. Youhave to measure to the philosophy. You
can't just say, well, there'sa lot of actus in a shiva,
because even something that actus can bea negative. So yes, you have
positive things. We know the fascinatingthing we see that Tata itself. Tata
is a sam and it could bea sam hafeime, or it can be

(40:00):
something else. It's a potency,it's a strength, it's an energy,
it's a vitality. It's really something. But that doesn't still make it good.
It doesn't make it holy automatically. You still have to make sure that
it's holy. And remember something. To make something pure, you need it
fully pure. But they contaminate, contaminate something. All I need is one

(40:22):
little drop of ink and all thewater turns purple. I just need a
little one drop of poison and thewhole thing is dangerous. We're just looking
over that little bit. Stop tellingme about the ninety five percent. Stop
telling me about the ninety percent,Stop telling about the ninety nine percent.
Let's talk about the one percent. And if you don't know anything about the

(40:43):
one percent, and you don't haveto talk about it, but I think
I do know about the one percent, based on our truth to be told,
I'm saying everything based on what peopletold me. But why would they
come and tell me, and whywould I be telling it to you.
I've met these people, and ifyou count the people that only I have
met, we're talking about over twentypeople. And now we just read about

(41:07):
the droshashivas, the tudashivas that spokeand there's a business person that spoke to
many major people and a young ladythat's helping us now as well. So
you're talking about five investigators. Theyall come back with the same information.
We have been spoken to many manypeople who are again in the yeshiva at
Dashiva was part Ofhi, was notPartadyeshiva, left happy, left unhappy parents,

(41:30):
children, et cetera. You knowwhat, I think we should be
concerned now. By the way, those who told me shiva, you you're
breaking a yeshiva, which is agood yeshiva. I'm not breaking anything.
Ushiva was over before I even gotinvolved. It's over. If rabunim and
queens are telling girls do not datethe guy because it's a cult. If

(41:52):
five rabbanim local rabunnim have nothing goodto say about the rabbi and the yeshiva,
if the rabbi they went to tothe besin that they went to tells
me, Sheia, do your job. If people are basically talking about this
behind the back, the yeshiva isfalling apart on their own. They want
to blame. She blames. Yeah, if you want to make me famous,

(42:14):
make me famous. I'm very veryhappy. It's very very good.
In fact, this whole tunnel wentpublic not because of me, and not
because of the Tudasshibus, and notbecause of a businessman that's involved, or
not because of a young lady that'sworking with us as as as a as
a investigator. This came thing becausesomebody thought there would be a great idea

(42:35):
to put it in. Yeshiba world, go ahead, Let the whole Yeshiva
world know. Now you want toknow why people are talking against you.
Oh, maybe you've overstepped your bound. Maybe it's did something that you shouldn't
have done. Oh and by theway, calling my superior is within Lebabbage.
Give me a break, Give mea break. I'm the expert.
That's what they say. Never mindwhat I say, that's what they say.

(42:58):
And to prove they've called me,I say, listen, do you
have an expertise? No? No, she you don't understand we're behind.
We know that you know what you'redoing, but do it a little bit
different. I do a little bitof You have a better plan for me?
What better planets me? You meanI should allow someone to basically a
tarnish my reputation, attack me infront of my people, attack me in

(43:19):
front of my family, and Ishould sit quietly. No, No,
my father didn't didn't have a limiticalfor a son. I'm really sorry.
You know both both my parents taughtme you have to be outspoken. And
those who know Rabbi jj Hef Yakuthe heck, all of us Shalam and
his Na know that one of thethings my father thrived them, thrived them

(43:43):
and below Boyd. As one ofmy family members said to me the other
day, your father would be soproud of you. The whole world is
against you, but you know you'refighting for the rights, and you know
where you're fighting it for justice, and you're fighting for Tayto, and you're
fighting for Halofa, and you're fightingfor Bastarder, which brings into another thing,
Rabbi balancing rab Ushier balance and wrotea letter clearly to to to tell

(44:07):
me them and said get away fromthe eshiva the right donassant, watch rabbit.
This rabbi's rabbi, and he writesat first after the letter he addresses
the rabbi. He says, youhave to have a cars a type.
I built you, I made you, I helped you, I taught you.
I'm telling you get out of theshinnel. It's not for you.

(44:27):
You're a great businessman. Stay inbusiness. Well, at least when you
look on some of the lawsuits thatare going on, there's a lot of
money that the man is dealing with. Hey, you know what, you
want to stay in business, Stayin business. There's no reason for you
to be in the shinnel. Youwant to give a sheer be you want
to give a sheer once a week, and you shoot excellent. But for

(44:50):
you to take students and take themaway from their families and create your own
family and then tell these people todo things that they have event eventually many
of these people ran away from you. You know who they are very very
well. You know their names, you know their addressents, you know what
the people are, My dear friends. It really boils down to this,

(45:13):
she asked, is not the issue. This is I'm not defending myself.
It's not about this. This isabout victims that are on part of the
yeshiva, parents that are who arevictims that are part of this yeshiva.
And I will tell you as Itold to my colleague, my elder colleague
and somebody who I respect very verymuch within the system. I said,

(45:35):
these people, this father is goingto come back to you, got a
date and say I will let meget a holder of a heath. I
want to thank him for getting mykid, that kids out of at yeshiva.
I want to thank him for greatlyspeaking up. No one had the
guts to do it, because thisrabbi, who's a rabbi in Great Neck,
said he has no time until untilafter Simplesteira. He has no time

(46:00):
to save Jewish Jewish children. Isa possibly he doesn't believe there's a polably
doesn't believe that these children are atrisk. You are taking on the cause.
But there are supporters of the ashivassay the sheiva was doing a good
job. Maybe he's one of thosethat likes what the shiva is doing.
There are some that do like whatthe shiva is doing. Right, so
he should have said listen, guys, you guys are wrong. Stop it.

(46:23):
I had nothing to talk about. The men is righteous, the men
is good. Please leave the ashivaalone. You guys don't know what you're
doing. You could have said thathe didn't say that, you know one
of the five that I've gone him, that I spoke to the local and
abund him. He says, Ican't answer your question. I said,
what you just said yes or noon a particular question that I asked.

(46:45):
He says, I can't answer yourquestion. I said, Robbie, I'm
gonna infer from this that you meanthat it's that it's whatever the answer whatever.
He says, I can't help.I can't. But lets not that
the person went and said, listen, let me seeing the guy's praises.
And again, these are people whowere in the isshiva, visited the ishiva,

(47:08):
know who the rabbis are, metthe children, the students from there,
know what the story is. Andnow you're telling me that I don't
have a right to make a statementbased on five the testimony of five.
Abu him to make the testimony ofthree women who told me some of the
things that go on there, whichis a little bit strange, or and
more than twice as many young menwho were there. You know, one

(47:32):
of my my own children asked me, Datali, why did you go speak
to the women? He spoke tothe men. Why do you need to
speak to the women? I said, because Bina, you say there knit
nabsha and you many many times.Half because I noticed from before the outrage
is learning in the kylel. Theman is part of it. He's just
tas a thalma. But his wifesays, listen, there's something wrong with

(47:52):
your Rabbi. We have to getout of here. And the most important,
amazing thing from everything else, thelevel of fear that some of these
people I spoke to. They're simply, what are you afraid of? What
are you afraid of? My dearfriend, speak truth, step up,
food And there are people who wantto help you. You don't, you
can come to me. I willdo whatever I can't to help you.

(48:14):
But it's not only me. Youknow the other people, you know,
the two rushes Shivas that are involved. They will help you, they will
protect you, they'll put you inthe in the what it's called the witness
broke it's called witness protection program. Is that what you're talking about, witness
protecting brother. We'll take care ofyou, you know, don't worry about
it. And there's a business personinvolved, and there's a who's who this

(48:35):
this business person by the way,who who lives in Great Neck and has
put in a tremendous amount of hoursof research into this post situation. In
any event, I spoke more thanI want to. Zev. You're a
great guy. You have a greatfollowing. I really want to tell you

(48:57):
