If you're looking to have yourself a meaningful and inspiring
holomoid evening at home with your family, then you need
to rent the movie Bar Day Of on Amazon Prime,
Apple TV Plus, Google Play, Vimeo or YouTube. That's bardeyev
b r D e jo V. My name is Jacob Viscus,
director of Marketing and Distribution for Bartiov Films, and I
(06:10):
want to tell you a little bit more about Bartiev.
It's based on a true story and it reveals the
daring plan devised by Rafuel Loewie, a successful winemaker, and
he was the leader of the community of Bartiev. And
he devises a plan to save the young women of
Bartiev from being included in the first official Jewish transport
to Auschwitz. I'm not going to tell you how, but
(06:31):
it's incredibly ingenious but also dangerous. This is not just
another Holocaust movie. This is a story about the power
of tafila, of prayer, the strength of community to take
even the darkest and most powerful forces on and it's
a story about never backing down. Even more remarkable, the
film was produced by a Holocaust survivor from the town
(06:52):
of Bartiev. His name is Emil Fish, founder of Yeshiva
University's Emil and Jennyfish Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies.
And there may be no other film ever produced by
a survivor about his hometown's Holocaust story, which in and
of itself is incredibly inspiring. Again, the film is available
to rent on Amazon Prime, Apple TV Plus, Google Play, Vimeo,
(07:15):
or YouTube. You can watch it at home, and after
you do, you're gonna want to urge your community, your shool,
community center, house of worship and the like to go
and visit www dot shoahroo dot com to book a
live community screening. That's www dot shoahroo dot com, where
(07:35):
you can also learn more about the film. Wishing everyone
a jag Samer and Amysrelsi.
Speaker 2 (07:41):
You're listening to talk Line with Zev Brenner, America's premier
Jewish broadcast on the air since nineteen eighty one.
Speaker 7 (07:47):
And now here's your host.
Speaker 3 (07:51):
And we're back. You know, there are a fair amount
of Holocaust movies that are out there, but not all
of them are family friendly, not all of them really.
Also to the film the Orthodox Jewish Marketplace. There's a
fantastic film that came out recently called bardiov about a
Holocaust Jewish leader, a leader of a community who saved
lots of young women during the Holocausts. With us right
(08:12):
now is Jacob Fiscus. He himself is a documentary filmmaker.
His film On the Tree of Life was on HBO
and he's a director of marketing for the film Bardioff.
So welcome to the program. Thank you for joining us.
Speaker 7 (08:25):
Oh, it's an honor to be on talk Line with you.
You know, we all know you in the world. A.
Zev and it's Momo Shanata. Thank you for having me.
Speaker 3 (08:32):
So I did watch the film, Barjow. I love the film,
but I have to tell you there is a family connection.
I don't if you're aware that we have to the film.
The film is about a Holocaust. Well goes back to
the leader of a town. First, let's let's tell the
synopsis of the story. They I'll tell you our connection.
Speaker 7 (08:49):
Sure, so I can give you a synopsis. So it's
a very very unique story. It takes place in Bartiov
in Slovakia, and Bartiov is a very unique town in
Eastern Europe. It's Jewish history is very robust, very rich.
You know, we all know the Halberstam Hasidic dynasty. Halberstam
was the chief rabbi there for a period of time,
(09:09):
the town rabbi. And so the film takes place in
nineteen forty two, the start of the war. And so
the Helnka Guard, which is the group in Slovakia that
were Nazi collaborators. They were instructed by the Nazis to
round up all the Jewish girls in Slovakia. They come
(09:30):
to Bartia. But the community leader was a very strong man.
His name was Raffula Loewi a very very incredible man
of hero and he needed to figure out a way
to save these girls, and he came up with something
that was incredibly dangerous but also ingenious. And I'm not
going to give it away because I want people to
(09:51):
watch the film, but he finds a way to save
these girls. And a lot of people don't realize this
that this roundup of these Jewish girls in Slovaka, he
was going to be the very first and it was
the very first transport Jewish transport to Auschwitz, So a
little bit of history there. This was the very first
Jews transport to Auschwitz. But no girls from Bartie were included,
(10:13):
and that's because of Ruffula Lowe played by Robert Dave
who people might know him from Die Hard from License
to Kill, which is a James Bond film, so die
and Kill, but this film very goes into a very different.
Speaker 3 (10:28):
People lived, people live because of him.
Speaker 7 (10:30):
People lived because of him and uh And Robert dove
performance is fantastic embodies the character uh And and Neil
who's the producer who will get to in a minute,
was very much particular about him, you know, portraying Lowie
who wears you know, he wears a black hat in
the film as a very authentically you know, orthodox Jewish person.
(10:54):
So uh, it does a great job and represents our
people well on screen. And even though he's not Jewish,
he's a huge fan of the Medina off screen, of
the of the State of Israel. He'd been a staunch defender.
He's appeared on Fox, newt and elsewhere defending the Jewish people.
He goes huge lover of Omnu Treell like everybody should be.
Speaker 3 (11:13):
Absolutely, and the film was a feel good film because
there's a happy ending. If there could be a happy
ending in a holocaust film, is certainly that is. But
the connection is rafull. Lowie is the grandfather of of
somebody who's very close to our family. So wow.
Speaker 7 (11:32):
Wow.
Speaker 3 (11:33):
So Rudy, he's my my, my My daughter is married
to Sam, and Sam's mother is married to Rudy.
Speaker 7 (11:43):
Okay, they watch the film.
Speaker 3 (11:44):
Yes, In fact, I was at the time they watched
the film, and they can vouch for the authenticity. And
I was at the film premiere with Amil Fish which
they had in New York a number of months ago,
which was a great premiere. And listen, it's a film
that's that's really you know, you don't have a lot
of films that are family friend A lot of films
could be. They have to put in curse words and
they have to put in things that make it less
(12:06):
family friendly. And for sure, a film that's you know,
con catered to Jewish crowds, concatered to Christian krause that
are looking for filmed entertainment.
Speaker 7 (12:14):
It's to me, it's universal. You know, these days we divide,
we have all these different genres, faith states, not faith based,
but it's authentic. I mean, this was a town of Yiddin,
of Jews that they they had a plan. They were
trying to come up with a plan. But they didn't
just stop. They didn't just gather together to come up
with a plan. They went into the shool and they
(12:34):
dobvined and they faxed it and that was the that's
portrayed in the film. These are people that had a
muna and the immuna carried them through. And we certainly
don't see stories like that, at least scripted stories, right
like films, scripted films, we don't see that. Really, I
can't think of many and I certainly can't think of
many films produced by a survivor from the town that
(12:58):
the film is takes place in. It's incredibly unique, and
you know, Emil has dedicated his life. In the beginning
of the movie, you see like it's it's it's a
modern day scene where he makes a nether that he's
going he's gonna make sure people remember his town, and
he's doing that. Besides for the film, he has this
(13:18):
nonprofit organization called Bardi of Jewish Preservation Committee. He's rebuilt
the Institutish institutions there, the synagogue. There were two synagogues
that were essentially storage facilities, and he came in. He said,
what's going on over here? He cleaned them out, he's
rebuilding them. He's rebuilt the mikvah. He's doing incredible, incredible
work to And you know, as we were talking about,
(13:40):
there's a lot of people defending anti Semitism, and we're
so focused. Let's let's mention every single time someone says
something that nice, so we can be outraged about it
and defend ourselves. But we have to stop playing defense
as the people and be proud of who we are
and play offense. This is a pro seme pro semitism film.
And Emil is a pro Semitism type of person, and
that's the stuff that he doing. We should be proud
(14:01):
to be Jews. We should wear it on our sleeves.
That were people who believe in God and allow God
to guide us while also of course doing the work.
And really that's what makes this film to me special
and unique.
Speaker 3 (14:14):
Well, amble Fish also he's someone who's committed and he
did the movie which is fantastic. And he also has
right he's connected with Yucia University.
Speaker 7 (14:23):
They have oh absolutely absolutely the Emil and Jenny Fish
Center for Genocide and hal Koch Studies. You know, a meal,
He's distant. This is what he's about remembering and fighting
through showing how wonderful we are as a people.
Speaker 3 (14:41):
And the film is available, and we'll mentioned a couple
of times. It's not available in movie theaters, but you
can watch it online a variety of the popular places
where you can go. Tell everybody where they can watch
this film.
Speaker 7 (14:53):
Sure, Sure, you can rent the film for five ninety
nine on Amazon, Prime, Apple, TV plats, Google Play, Vimeo, YouTube,
you can rent it on YouTube, and I believe I
mentioned everything Android too. I believe so variety of plates
is a lot of weights to get it, and I
(15:14):
can't recommend it enough. If you're going to be uh,
you know, lounging around on Paulmoid evening one evening and
you want something to do with your family, this is
a really valuable way to spend your time in entertaining
one too exactly.
Speaker 3 (15:24):
And the message is really an uplifting message because you
have the leadership of one individual or full Lowly, who
was able to come up with and out of the
box plant I'm not going to give away, but you.
Speaker 7 (15:37):
Know, Lowly of course is the singular your hero, but
the community as a whole, right, it's to me, it's
a it's an illustration of Jews where we're we're we're
we have communities all over the place, and this is
a tech book, textbook example of the strength of community,
the power of community to fight off even the most
powerful darket force imaginable, which you wouldn't think, no way,
(16:00):
this little community is gonna ward off the Nazi threat,
and they do it. They do it. So it's about community,
it's about a muna and absolutely it's it's a beautiful
film with great teams.
Speaker 3 (16:12):
And what's a fine interesting in today's DNA's used to
be you have to go to a movie theater. That
was a big thing. Now movies even bypassed the movie theaters, right,
you go straight to the public, and you're doing it
through Google and through Prime and through other medium as well.
Speaker 7 (16:26):
Constantly evolving landscape. Yeah, very different. And personally, as a
film buff, I don't like watching movies on small screens.
I like it on big screens. But this is the
way people like to consume media and films these days.
So it is what it is, and it's still great
whether you watch it on a small screen or big screen.
Speaker 3 (16:44):
Well. You also, one of the things that I like
about the fact is that you know you're able to
take this movie film and take it to community. So
if you are a school or a synagogue organization and
you don't want to watch it on your computer or
your phone, you can actually have a screening in a
synagogue or an organization or whatever it might be.
Speaker 7 (17:03):
Absolutely, you can visit shoahroo dot com and you can
go ahead and book a community screening if you you know,
you're community member, president of a shule, kargregan of a
shool and you like the film or a community center
or even if you're not Jewish and you have you're
part of some kind of a house of worship or
community center and you want to screen this very faith based,
(17:26):
faith oriented film. You can go on the show A
Hero s h O a h hero dot com and
you can scroll down and you'll see an option to
go ahead and book of screening, and you fill out
the form and book of screening and would be absolutely
honored and thrilled to be able to do that.
Speaker 3 (17:42):
Jacob Fisk is with us, director of market for Bardio Films,
and it's a family friendly film that's really doing very
very well because it has a uplifting message of Rafaull
Lowie who saved a whole bunch of young women from
going to Austras by coming up with a concept out
of the box that worked. It's a true story. I
know it because, as I said earlier, related to Rudy Lowe,
(18:05):
whose grandfather was the hero of the film itself. So you,
I know you love films, and I know that's why
you're passionate about and this is this is just the beginning,
right even though emil Fish is his first film, but
I think he got the taste for doing more films
that they're family friendly, that Jews and also Christians could
watch a lot of Christians who want family friendly films
(18:27):
that were able to watch the film too.
Speaker 7 (18:29):
Absolutely, I can't say what the films are going to
be about or anything like that, but I can say
that a meal fish got the film bug and he
wants to make more of them, and he is making
more of them. They're they're currently in production. There's a
couple in production. I can't give release states or anything
about that. But what I can't say is it's a
(18:49):
blessing to the world to have somebody who just dedicated
Hami thrill to the Jewish people and too really good
faith and God and the meal is to be making films.
And so the film projects that they are, they are
you know in the in the pipeline, are going to
be very much similar in theme to Barty of not
all holocausts, of course, there's gonna be a variety of
period pieces and you know, modern day pieces, so lots
(19:13):
to look forward to, and and uh, you should be
able to lookout.
Speaker 3 (19:16):
Now you're a film buff, there are quite a bit
of Holocaust films that have been made than are even
being made right now as we speak. So this is
a little bit different, I should say, even though it's
not the time here should a monus time. And what
makes this film different other Holocaust films that are out there?
Speaker 7 (19:31):
Yeah, absolutely, the Hollywood has become absolutely infatuated with the Holocaust.
There are I think there's two or three Warsaw Ghetto
movies coming out literally next year. And that's just Warsaw Ghetto.
There's I think a dozen projects coming out big ones
within the next year and several years. They just compantly
turn them out, and I think people are getting a
(19:53):
little bit of fatigued by them. What makes Party of
Difference is, to me, without a doubt, is the the muna,
the faith element to it. We don't see, uh, you know.
So you know, Hollywood doesn't make a lot of movies
about you know, faith and and people who are devoutly
religious and proud of it and used religion, uh and
(20:14):
their faith in God to to to get through tremendous challenges.
And I think that that's what makes this particular film unique.
It's not shy at all about that. It's it's all
about that. And what another thing that I think makes
it really unique is again a survivor from Bardiyev made
a film called Bardiov. I don't, I don't. I can't
(20:36):
think of any uh, And I'm pretty plugged into this world,
and I can't think of any Holocaust film that had
been produced by a that was an on set giving
directions to people and had been working with the director. Uh.
That that was the survivor. You know, he survived, Emil
survived bergen Belsen, he was supported from Bardiev to the
(20:57):
berg and Balston survived. And so I think it's incredibly
unique and a very special film in that.
Speaker 3 (21:05):
Right now, you mentioned the power of prayer that comes
to forth the film. You have some scenes about the
fast of est Tin and Esther, and you have seen
some machol, but you make it all so different because
you know your dealings is showing the beauty of Jewish life.
Let's talk about it the essential part of the film too.
Speaker 7 (21:22):
Yeah. Absolutely, you know there is a fasting sequence and
like a perm sequence. And it's not just the fast thing,
it's not just feelon crying. They're celebrating and these are
people who are under first of all, Mam, starving, very
hungry because access to food and work and all these
and money and all these things are dissipated, and here
(21:45):
they are saying, in the face of that, we're gonna
jump up and down and dancing. We all know how
Perham is having an absolutely fantastic time and and then
and they do that. It's incredibly inspiring. Uh. It's maybe
my favorite part of the film actually is to see that,
because you're just like, wow, that's how incredible is it
that they're able to do that amidst the threat that's
(22:06):
looming over them. They don't know what's going to happen.
They know that this is just the beginning, right of
the holocout of the hars to come, but they are
absolutely staunch about dominating and of course about celebrating, celebrating
life and celebrating being a Jew.
Speaker 3 (22:24):
And it's very accessible because, as you mentioned, you can
get it on Amazon, Apple, TV, YouTube, Google Play, Verizon.
I'm sure more places will come into play too. And
so because there's a film now in Netflix which should
have been a it's not a family friendly film and
the ending is a horrible ending, which is making people
a lot of people are talking about it, So it's
(22:45):
nice to see something that people can get also that
it's family friendly. That's true. It's a true story and
true of heroism during the Holocaust and not your typical
Holocaust movie too, and that's what makes it distinctive.
Speaker 7 (22:58):
So absolutely really need a message now of of hope
and of positivity and of like the like in the film,
like the people in the film in the community, not
being shy, not being scared, to be who you are.
As a matter of fact, being who you are is
the antidote. It's the Toblin, right, It's that's what That's
what the world is waiting for, for us to be
(23:20):
who we are and that and that's what we need.
So this film, where's where's Amistra, Where's Yiddish? Kai Judaism
and faith and muna on its sleeve?
Speaker 3 (23:29):
And of course it's great to family. Your family can
watch it together. It's a film that you can so
whether it's from Kalamosukus or Pasa or any time, it's good.
Then tell people if you're an organization or your yeshiva,
or you're a community center that wants to rent a
film with does Aimle speaker, just to just show the.
Speaker 7 (23:47):
Film Emil, will you know, eighty nine years old kicking,
he's still kicking. He can take both of us on.
I'm telling you right now. But with that being said,
can he come to every place to to every screening? No,
but if there's a big enough crowd, I mean you
will make the treck to to to be there at tiler,
(24:07):
introduce the film, do an after screening discussion Q and A.
He's got completely open to that.
Speaker 3 (24:13):
So tell everybody how they can find a more information
about the film.
Speaker 7 (24:17):
Sure, you can find out more information on the film
by visiting showahroo dot com. That's s h o a
h hero dot com and you can learn more information
about the film, how you can arrange at screening in
your community center or house of worship and uh. It
will also link you to the Bardy of Jewish Preservation
(24:37):
Committee if you want to learn more about the history
party of because it is fascinating a lot of good
stuff on that site.
Speaker 3 (24:42):
So Jacob Fiscus, he's director of marketing for Boudio Films.
It's not just one film. You can't tell us what
the next one is going to be about.
Speaker 7 (24:50):
Can you tell us tell you anything? Death you're gonna have?
You know, there's not enough you can pay me to
get me to do that I'm sorry.
Speaker 3 (24:56):
But can you tell you? Can you tell you?
Speaker 7 (24:58):
When I can't even tell you, it'll be out, Zev.
Everyone's just going to have to wait in anticipation from
a shiach, but also for these amazing films that are
there in the.
Speaker 3 (25:06):
Pipeline party of the movie, I must say I've seen it.
It's a true story, uplifting story, even though it's dealing
with a dark time in the Jewish people. But the
family will enjoy it then his family friendly. So thank
you for being a part of our show.
Speaker 7 (25:20):
Absolute pleasure. Thank you so much, Jev.
Speaker 5 (25:23):

(31:56):

And he's ranked in the year twenty twenty three as
at thirty seventh on the Jerusalem Post list of fifty
most of lunch of Jews in the world. He's also
mentioned as a possible future Prime Minister of Israel haak
Semeyer and a General Amir Viv thank you for joining us,
(32:17):
my pleasure, thank you, thank you. So tell us dude
about the cap the elimination of the number one terrorists
of Ramas. We're talking about what happened a couple of
days ago, was Cinema? Was it completely by chance? Was
Israel monitoring and tracking him? Tell us a little bit
more details about what transpired.
Speaker 9 (32:36):
Well, Israel has been monitoring sin Wa throughout the war.
Speaker 10 (32:41):
He was moving most of the time between Rafa and
the Hanunez. The tire thing of Hinwa did happen by chance,
but also not by chance, meaning it wasn't because of
aacuate intelligence and the fact.
Speaker 9 (32:54):
That that I knew where he was.
Speaker 10 (32:58):
But when you are consistent, when you are fighting every
day on the ground, woods on the ground and closing
on the terrorists, eventually you also get to the leadership.
And Sinlouar was moving in an area very close to
the Egyptian border where the Gaza Division is deployed along
(33:21):
the Philadelphia corridor, And as they were expanding this corridor
and searching houses, they had an engagement with the terror cells.
They didn't know it was Sinouar. There were four or
five terrorists which they fought, and afterwards when they searched areas,
(33:42):
they saw that the Sinoir.
Speaker 3 (33:46):
Now the conventionalism was that Sinoir had surrounded himself by
Israeli hostages, so be hard to get them because he
would be using them as a human shield. The fact
that there were noways really harshes around him is that
is that a bad sign for the release or the
capture of Israeli hostages that might be held.
Speaker 10 (34:06):
We know that at a certain point it was with
the six saustages that were murdered, but most of the
hostages are held near the sea in their El Balach area,
in an area that at the moment idea is not
operating because there are hostages there. So I think that
(34:30):
the killing of Sinoir gives us more chance to release hostages.
I think that Paresian society is getting fed up of
the situation. Most of them are stuck intents along the sea.
They don't see the war ending. They see you know,
all of Gaza and rebels, and they don't see any
point to continue the war. So they're getting fed up
(34:53):
with Hamas that is also abusing them, shooting them, using
them as human shields not really represent I think the society.
So when they see the leader killed and the idea
of continuing to operate constantly, and I think will reach
a point at a certain state where you know, since
we start breaking up.
Speaker 9 (35:14):
The society, and the society will be fed up of
what is happening.
Speaker 10 (35:18):
Maybe some of the terrorists will understand that this is fruitless.
Speaker 9 (35:21):
It's not going anywhere.
Speaker 10 (35:23):
We have to be consistent and continue to do what
we're doing systematically, dismantling the hamasa's military and governmental entity.
Speaker 3 (35:32):
So who is running the show for hamasos and eliminate
a lot of top commanders also eliminated, So who is
running the show and who can Israel talk to about
possibly negotiating releases of the hostages.
Speaker 9 (35:45):
So that avn't shows a replacement yet.
Speaker 10 (35:48):
On the military side, it seems that it's his brother
Muhammad running the show together with another guy that was
the gain the brigate commander of the Gaza area. And
outside of Gaza you have a guy named Khalil haya
(36:08):
Is in Egypt towards the deputy of a Finmar is
also the one that they talked on the media after
Sinewa was skilled, saying that they will continue to fight
and so on. We still have leaders of Hamas that
we need to target. We haven't finished the job yet,
but this is done systematically. They're also very bottled and
(36:30):
very very extreme, just like sin one, not really people
you can talk to.
Speaker 9 (36:34):
So we need to continue and fight until.
Speaker 10 (36:37):
We really reach the terms needed to release the hostages
and to destroy Hamas.
Speaker 3 (36:43):
Now there is talk. The President of the United States,
Joe Biden, said, now is the time to maybe make
a deal because sin War is the will there be
pressure on Israel to make a deal because sine War
has been eliminated.
Speaker 9 (36:56):
Well, you need two sides to make a deal.
Speaker 10 (36:59):
I mean in as long as say we can get
a deal that is according to the parameter set by Israel,
meaning we're not going to stop the war, We're not
going to retreit a from the Egyptian border. We're willing
to have a ceasefire for a few weeks to do
the change and get our hostages.
Speaker 9 (37:20):
If we can reach these terms, there might be a deal.
Speaker 10 (37:24):
But if not, Israel is not going to stop the war,
not going to requit until all goals of all are reached,
meaning eradicating Hamas as the military governmental entity, bringing back
all the hostages, and also creating the terms that in
Gaza never again there will be a terror army. This
war is not going to end with Hamas ruling Gaza.
(37:46):
Hamas is not going to rule Gas anymore when this
war will end.
Speaker 3 (37:49):
So who is going to rule Gaza when the war ends?
Speaker 10 (37:52):
So I believe that in the long term it could
be probably local leadership of clans in the cities. It's
not going to be the Palestinian and authority. Not Haramas
and not the Palestina and is Stamic. They're all very
extreme radical organizations. So you really can base it only
on the local leadership. And also we really need to
(38:14):
look into the process of the radicalization of this society,
which will take many, many years. So anybody who is
looking for shortcuts and how to finish this fast, that
that goodly understand the reality on the ground. You cannot
change things just by cutting some deal. You need to
deradicalize the whole society.
Speaker 3 (38:34):
Does that mean Israel will be in Ghaza for years
to come?
Speaker 10 (38:38):
Yeah, definitely as well, it's going to be many many
years in Gaza. Also, this mantaining all this ter infrastructure
will take years. It's not something that they will happen fast.
It's a process. It's a long term process.
Speaker 3 (38:50):
Does Israel face the prospect of a gorilla warfare because
now that you have Ramas leadership in this array, will
you have Tramas terrorists just engage in guerrilla warfare.
Speaker 10 (39:01):
Yeah, we are in a gorilla warfare, but we set
the terms for the destruction of Hamas. They cannot renew themselves,
they cannot smuggle, they cannot produce anything, so eventually they
will run out of munitions. And I think that if
we continue to do what we're doing, we constantly degraded capabilities.
Speaker 9 (39:24):
We have to remember, we killed Sineoir, the leader, the hero.
Speaker 10 (39:28):
Following that, they didn't manage to shoot one rocket or
you can't even one attack, So this is where they are.
We have degraded dramatically, dramatically the capabilities. And I want
to remagine that on the seventh of October, in one day,
they shot four thousand rockets.
Speaker 9 (39:45):
Now they cannot shoot one.
Speaker 10 (39:46):
So we're moving towards the sisive victory.
Speaker 9 (39:50):
But this kind of for for a text time.
Speaker 3 (39:53):
Now Sineware's body does Israel half his body? Yeah, and
that could be part of the negotiations when you release
the Hushers, as far as releasing his body too.
Speaker 9 (40:01):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (40:02):
Now, one thing puzzles me is that you know we've
had lopsided deals. In fact, Sine was given out as
one thousand plus terrorists that were traded for Gila Shalit,
and even though they were warned the doctor dentists who
helped cure him said he's a dangerous man, it was ignored.
Would it not be better in Israel's interest to impose
(40:22):
the death penalty and terrorists who killed Jews should be
executed for their crimes.
Speaker 10 (40:27):
Well, there is a discussion in Israel about this issue,
serious discussion certainly talking about the look materalist that massacred
the people on the seventh of October, Well, say where.
Speaker 9 (40:40):
This is going.
Speaker 10 (40:41):
It's not very easy, looking at his culture, to really
impose this kind of penalty.
Speaker 3 (40:50):
But I think if any time would be ripe will
be now with people who've lost so many loved ones
after October seventh, I think the sentiment might be that
these terrorist should not be put in prison and be
traded to do it again, because the fact is these
terrorists will let go like Sinoir and Uh and we
saved one is really, but we lost many Israeli lies
(41:10):
by freeing him.
Speaker 10 (41:11):
I think that it has to do also, you know,
our fighting and one of the really challenges in a
war like that is keep international legitimacy in the fight.
Looking at the current administration, looking at the part of Europe,
this is the one thing that you know, can affect
the legitimacy. So we'll have to wait and see what
(41:34):
will happen in the elections in the US and what
kind of sentiment we'll see in the next administration to know.
Speaker 9 (41:41):
How relevant this is to push this kind of low our.
Speaker 3 (41:45):
Israeli is hoping that Donald Trump returned to the White House.
Speaker 10 (41:48):
Well, you know, overall, I think that there is what
was so not intervene in, you know, in American politics,
But I can say that it's crucial that the next
Admins administration would show leadership in the Middle East and
be willing to deal militarily with Iran. The only way
to really shorten this war is not ceasefires and not
(42:10):
Sitney anything. It's really destroying the nuclear plans of Iran
and hitting them hard. And this is what is going
to really do a change in the Middle List. We
have to break this shier access. Israel is doing it
by itself and we're handing on a silver plate the
Middle East to you know, to the US, and it's
time the USA takes leadership and joins the fight and
(42:35):
deals with Iran and the hooties and the militias in
Iraq and what Israel did in a week or two
in Libanon, a coalition can do in three days in Iran.
Speaker 9 (42:45):
It's not boots on the ground, it's not a long war.
Speaker 10 (42:48):
It's really a major air strike on all these relevant sites.
And this will change completely for the best with the
list and will create the terms needed for promoting peace
and stability and building a big alliance, you know, with
Saudi Arabia that could extend all the way to Indonesia
(43:10):
and Malaysia and Pakistan, Oman, the Emirrates and so on.
Speaker 3 (43:14):
Will Prime Minister attack the nuclear facilities in the World Wals,
according to what President Joe Biden say, doesn't want the
nuclear facilities or the world wells attacked, and the Primer
seems to indicate that he won't do it.
Speaker 10 (43:27):
It's not about what is where he is going to
attack now, because it's just the beginning of a long
term campaign against Iran.
Speaker 9 (43:35):
That's like the war in Gaza.
Speaker 10 (43:37):
It's not a day or one attack and the war
in Liberal And also it's not about one airstrike. When
you talk about the country that is more than a
thousand miles from Israel.
Speaker 9 (43:51):
And it's also not about one airstrike.
Speaker 10 (43:54):
It's a long term campaign that will continue throughout the
elections and after there will be a new president in
the White House. And this is why this is so crucial,
that will have a president that is willing to fight,
because there can be two scenarios. Either as well to
(44:17):
find itself as we are fighting Iran, continuing to have
to rely on ourselves only, or we'll see America really
stepping and fighting together.
Speaker 9 (44:30):
It's a completely different scenario.
Speaker 3 (44:32):
Do you have any idea when the Israel We're going
to attack? I ran further for what it did a
couple of weeks ago. It seems like it's dragging on.
Is either waiting the elections, is going to happen imminent?
What's your opinion.
Speaker 10 (44:44):
I think it might happen before the elections, but again
I think it's a very tactical issue.
Speaker 9 (44:49):
It's not really the big story.
Speaker 10 (44:51):
The big story is that Israel is not going to
stop this war until this Iranian on its sneeze and
doesn't pose any sweat to Israel anymo or not now
and not in the future.
Speaker 9 (45:07):
And this is the first Iranian Israel you wre and
the last one.
Speaker 10 (45:10):
We're going to really make sure that the Iranians are
not going to pose a sweat. Now the question is
how we're going to do this alone or is the
US going to lead a coalition, because these are two
very different scenarios.
Speaker 3 (45:25):
Talk to me Levin and taught me as Bola, how
have been They've been degraded, Their leadership has been decimated.
How many of the missiles have been destroyed?
Speaker 10 (45:34):
So Asrael, it's systematically degrading his Balla capabilities. I think
more than seventy percent of the be side the rockets
have been destroyed. But really the big issue is not
that it's really hitting the leadership. Almost all the leadership
of his Bala has been targeted, both the strategic leadership
and the tactical leadership, and this is continuing.
Speaker 9 (45:58):
Just in the last two weeks.
Speaker 10 (46:00):
Is Well killed the fifteen hundred terrorists of his Bala
in the.
Speaker 9 (46:05):
Grounding cursion and continue the strikes.
Speaker 10 (46:07):
They say, we see many many of his Ballad terrorists
fleeing the area and not really fighting.
Speaker 9 (46:14):
And the Idea is doing a very very good job.
Speaker 10 (46:17):
The idea is controlling all the Thebanese towns along the
Israeli borders work his Balad building huge infrastructure to enable
them to storm Israeli towns, and this infrastructure is being
systematically destroyed. And as this is happening, the air force
is continuing to strike all the time and degrade more
(46:40):
and more his Balach capabilities.
Speaker 9 (46:44):
At the beginning, the notion one one that we want.
Speaker 10 (46:48):
To reach a resolution one seven on one that says
that there can be no forces in South Libanon. But
now as weel it's not talking about one seven on
one anymore. It's talking about one five five nine resolution
was that was passed in two thousand and four that
says that the Lebanese the sovereignty must be respected and
(47:13):
all militias must be dismantled, and also the Syrians must
get out of Libanon. So basically, now, as well as
looking at completely dismantling his Bala and imposing this resolution
for that, we need also the international community and we
need the Libanie to step up and say, okay, this
is our opportunity to get rid of this terrible level
(47:36):
organization and off I Ran. And this is an historical
moment for Lebanon where they can really change the fate,
get rid of the Iranians and his Bala.
Speaker 9 (47:46):
And bid for themselves a new future.
Speaker 10 (47:49):
And when this connects also to the idea of building
an alliance and American Israeli Sunni alliance, this will be
also the Lebanese the opportunity to join this alliance. And
oh no, maybe your tool will see a peace agreement
Inezuela and Lebanon.
Speaker 3 (48:08):
Everything United Nations forces are so lev and they're not
doing anything. They're really turned the blind eye. When his
ball was building all these underground bunkers and tunnels and infrastructure,
in fact, a lot of houses, have you know, weapons
from his bowler all as rule the man, the United
Nations leave south and level because they're really hindrance.
Speaker 9 (48:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 10 (48:27):
No, it's it's obvious that even if it is not
doing anything, all the positions, the huge, huge infrastructure his
Balla bid was hundreds of meters from.
Speaker 9 (48:36):
You know you, positions that are completely useless.
Speaker 10 (48:40):
And this is why it's so important that the Lebanese
themselves the responsibility for the future and mobilize the Lebanese army.
This is not going to happen until they feel that
is Bala falling apart. This is why we need to
sustain the will continue attacking fiercely Chrisabala and they until
(49:05):
the moment where the bands feel strong enough to deal
with them.
Speaker 3 (49:09):
Now they have tunnels. They say that his bowl is
more sophisticate in Hamas, and the tunnels a bit more sophistical.
Which is all surprised at the tunnels because I read
years ago that they were digging the tunn is going
into Israel. So what about the tunnels. How deep and
how sophisticated are they.
Speaker 10 (49:29):
They're not deep and they're not sophisticated for a very
simple reason.
Speaker 9 (49:35):
It's very very hard to dig in this area.
Speaker 10 (49:39):
It's all rocks. It's not like Gaza Gaza. It's very
easy to dig. And this is why you can dig
very deep and very sophisticated in Libanon. This tunnels the
two three meters underground. It's solid rock. And because it's
hard to dig, you don't try to be sophisticated. You
just dig what you need.
Speaker 9 (50:01):
So there are tunnels, some of them long.
Speaker 10 (50:04):
They build the whole headquarters underground, and this is what
is destroying this systematically. Most of the tunnels are in
the vicinity of the Israeli border. And this is what
we're dealing with. But this is does this doesn't look
anything like what we saw in Gaza.
Speaker 3 (50:22):
Because the reports were that that his Ball was planning
in October seven type of attack on Israel using tunnels,
trying to get into Israel, kill, kidnapped, et cetera. Tell
us about some of those plans that seem coming to
for coming to public eye right now.
Speaker 9 (50:40):
Yeah, so exactly what they planned.
Speaker 10 (50:43):
They built a hug infrastructure near the border in all
the towns in the vicinity of Israel to launch an
attack of tens of thousands of LAD one forces and
massacre all the Israeli towns, just as Hamastid.
Speaker 3 (51:00):
Now some proports out that Israel is running out of
munitions because of the constant usage in whether it's in
the Gaza or in the Lebanon. What is the story
about israel munitions? Are they going to be able to continue?
Speaker 10 (51:15):
Israeli industries are producing more and more munitions every day
that passes. New factories are being built, new lines of
productions that are being built, and Israel is not lacking
munitions at all at the moment.
Speaker 9 (51:32):
We have much more munitions now than we are then.
Speaker 10 (51:34):
The seventh of October and in a year or two,
Israel will be one of the biggest producers of munitions
in the in the world. Things are moving very very
fast and Israel as being able to sustain the war.
And it's what we see is every day that passes,
Israel is getting stronger and stronger, and every day that
(51:57):
passes our enemies are getting weaker, and we could we
just need to really continue this pass until their destruction.
Speaker 3 (52:06):
