Now more of the Saturday Morning Showon seven to ten wore Here again is
Joe Bartlett. Good morning everyone, and welcome to the Joe Bartlett Saturday Show.
And even though sixty eight percent ofthe people survey don't want President Biden
to run for reelection, He's goingto do it. What's going to be
interesting to see, though, ishow this mainstream media covers this aging,

(00:24):
bumbling candidate. And who better tohelp us with that subject than Joe Conscha,
contributed to Fox News and columnist forThe Hill. Good morning, Joe.
Good morning, mister Bartlett, howare you good? Thank you?
Well, look at the evidence isright in front of us. This guy
is not equipped to do this job. I mean, if he was your
dad, you'd take the keys awayfrom him, you wouldn't let him drive

(00:44):
a car. And this guy theoreticallyis running the United States of America right
now. And ABC News, WashingtonPost, Paul Out this weekend just devastating
and underscores exactly what you just said, Joe, and that is sixty three
percent of voters believe that Joe Bidendoesn't have the physical or mental capability to
do this job. And this isthe eighty year old version of Joe Biden.

(01:08):
What would the eighty six year oldversion look like, because that's how
old will be if he wins reelectionat the end of his next term.
We see it with his schedule everyday, and anybody could go out there
and just google it. Just puthim president schedule and you'll see what pops
up. Almost nothing. He hasone event today and that's at four o'clock
and it's at the White House.Over the last six days, he's had
three public events. One of themwas hosting a movie screening that was last

(01:32):
night, and then I'm sorry thatwas earlier this week, and then another
was hosting a college football team. This is the type of stuff that look
if he's like the golf starter atyour local golf club. All right,
the guy who you know says, okay, you could go out to the
team in the first team. Fine, he could do that job. And
then no one's gonna say, Ithink about it. If this is the

(01:52):
commander in chief of the United States, and every metric Joe that you look
at his performance son wage is notkeeping up with inflation, a crime crisis
like we haven't seen since the nineties, a border that is Wilpen. Now
if it wasn't before the humanitarian nationalsecurity crisis there, China is embolded made
very well go into Taiwan soon neverending more. In Ukraine, the Taliban

(02:15):
controls Afghanistan and test scores are ata thirty year LOLd. In this country.
There isn't one thing that is goingright for Joe Biden, and it's
only going to get worse as hegets older. And we saw it just
recently. Joe he was asked bya kid, Hey, what was the
last foreign country that you visited? And he couldn't remember, despite getting back
to Ireland like three days before that. I'm pretty sure if I go to

(02:36):
Ireland for a week, I'm gonnaremember the last country that I was in.
But sure enough, No, Andthat's just not just one example.
I goes on and on and on. So that's why now Donald Trump up
by seven over Joe Biden in thatWashington Post pole, I guess that it's
a long way away, but Ihaven't seen Trump up by that much in
a very long time. And itmaybe shows you that people are like,
all right, enough of Joe Biden. All right, Well, it's clear

(02:59):
that he's being protected by the mainstreammedia, these major networks, they can't
anore this issue when it comes timeto campaign. I mean, the guy's
got to get out. He's gotto be visible. He's got to engage
in dialogue, or they're going toallow him to hide. I wonder Joe
if he does have to go outin campaign. In other words, in
twenty twenty, that basement strategy workedpretty well for him, but now COVID,

(03:20):
there's no more excuse, right, you can't hide behind that anymore.
And even during his campaign announcement, which is almost always done at in some
swing states somewhere in front of acrowd, you do a speech, afterwards,
you take some questions, you're outamongst the people. They do a
campaign video, slickly produced like youthink that, like Scorsese got his hands
on this, and it makes Bidenlook vigorous, and it makes a look

(03:43):
like everybody's happy, and Kamala Harrisis just looking at him with like these
these eyes, like, oh mygod, I can't believe I get to
work for this guy. This isso awesome. And the reason why he
puts out a campaign video is becausehe doesn't have to take questions afterwards.
He doesn't have to leave the WhiteHouse or Wilmington, Delaware, and he
could be produced, he could beedited homogic eyes to look like a guy
who's actually capable. And if younotice, by the way, the rare

(04:03):
time he does a TV interview,Joe and I can't remember the last time
this happened, but all of themare pre taped. That seems to be
a condition that the White House putsout there saying okay, MSNBC, okay,
sixty minutes, Okay, name yournews organization. The few that have
actually sat down with him, theysay, we want pre tape. And
then, of course, these newsorganizations, to your point, protective by

(04:23):
saying, yeah, sure, thisway. If he does have a gas,
if he can't remember something, Icould simply edit it out to make
him look better. But you knowwhat, the American people are fooled anymore.
And even if the press is fullybehind him, or at least is
trying to protect him, they seewhat they see. They're not stupid,
and they're gonna say, look,I don't like the direction of this country.
I think it's something like eighty percentof Americans think we're going in the
wrong direction, and they're gonna wantto change. But let it's Trumps,

(04:46):
the Santists or somebody we're not eventalking about. What is the motivation for
these mainstream media people to just givehim a pass on this? You know,
I've talked to a number of thesebig hot shout White House Correspondence and
they say, well, you know, he seems like he's doing the job.
I'm not a doctor. I can'tdiagnose him. He seems okay to
me. You don't have to bea doctor. Just watch him monitoring the

(05:06):
case, says, listen to theanswers. He does some remarks earlier this
week, and they turns around,he walks away, and at the White
House Correspondence dinner, you'd literally mockedthe press, saying, boy, this
writes a lot like my presidency.I'm gonna speak for a bit and then
I'm gonna turn around happily and walkaway without taking any questions. And the
idiots that were in that ball roomall laughed. Lord, that's funny.

(05:28):
No, he's laughing at you.Don't you get it? What is their
motivation? As the question you askedmoney for starters, and what do you
say, won't even mean money?By making Donald Trump the focus as if
he's the president, and this wholeelection is a referendum on him that gets
him the clicks and the ratings thatthey craved so desperately that they enjoyed for
so long during the Trump presidency. So they focus on Trump, and obviously

(05:48):
the focus on Trump is going tobe anything positive, right, like his
border policy or his economic policies. It's going to be completely negative in almost
all that. It will be onhis legal troubles. That takes Joe Biden
off the rate are and makes ita referendum on Trump, which is not
the way it works. Elections arereferendums unfitting president. So I think it's
it's twofold. I think they thinkif they prop up Trump in terms of

(06:09):
putting them out their front and centernegatively, that ultimately he will lose again.
So from an ideological perspective, becausemost of them all liberal, they'd
love to see that. And thenfrom a business perspective, Donald Trump on
television is infinitely more entertaining for lackof a better word, than Joe Biden
is, and therefore that's what's motivatinghim here. Well, I guess you
know the question is for Trump then, is all right he didn't get enough

(06:31):
votes to beat Biden the last time. Will the people that voted for Biden
now decide they want Trump? That'sthat's a that's a stretch for a vast
majority of them. I think Ithink it turns it will end up being
a turnout thing. And I thinksome people that may have voted for Biden
last time, I think some ofthem will stay home at least enough.
And remember, elections, aren't youknow, we see these national polls all

(06:53):
the time. Elections come down tofive states. Let's faith the other forty
five sorry, even Florida and Ohioor they are read at this point like
they used to be, like youknow, critical swing states. The Florida
ain't going back to blue, andcertainly Ohio is not as well. Mike
DeWine the governor. They're just wonby twenty five points. The Santists won
by nearly twenty So I think thefive states. This comes down to Georgia,
Arizona, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania. And when you look at the

(07:16):
last election, ten thousand votes that'sit that decided Georgia. Twelve thousand votes
decided Arizona within a fraction of apoint where it was Wisconsin. Those three
states go the other way. DonaldTrump is your president, so he just
has to win. Trump does enoughof those votes back or enough people have
to stay home, particularly those inthe black community who are not happy with
Joe Biden. He's also a twentysix percent Joe in terms of the young

(07:41):
vote, in other words, millennials, and only one quarter think he's doing
a good job, So they're notgoing to come out in Moss. I
don't think so. If it endsup being a depressed electorate on the left,
then Donald Trump has enough votes toget by. If it's De Santists,
then he doesn't have the baggage thatTrump does, and he could win
by an even bigger margin. FuckingRon de Santists overcome Donald Trump right now,
that doesn't look like it could bethe case. But then again,

(08:01):
he hasn't been declared yet. Soas I said, we got a long
way to go. Yeah, Andthe thing is, you know, Trump
kind of self destructs. He callshis self harm. Do you see any
change in that as we moved towardtwenty twenty four. I can't, unfortunately
tell if your Trump supporter, becauseonce you get to a certain age,

(08:22):
you're kind of stuck in your ways, right, and Donald Trump, regardless
of age, has always been stuckin his ways. His instinct is to
trust himself and the advice that hegives himself and doesn't really listen to anybody
else. And it worked in twentysixteen, didn't work out so well in
twenty twenty. It's just that hefocuses so much on twenty twenty and that
election. He needs to say,Look, I'm done talking about it.

(08:43):
I said what I had to sayabout that election. I think I know
what happened. Other people have otherideas. Fine, I'm leaving that behind,
and I'm going to talk about whatI'm going to do to bring this
country back, to make America greatagain. He could talk about cutting regulations
and taxes. He could talk aboutgetting rid of or at least encouraging ages
to resign in cities like New Yorkand Chicago and San Francisco who aren't enforcing

(09:07):
the law. He can talk aboutbuilding the wall again and reinstating remain in
Mexico policies to get that situation undercontrol. You can talk about how strong
he's going to be with China, and he's going to talk about how He
has a focus on education in termsof getting gender identification, sexual orientation classes
out of kindergarteners and elementary school kidscurriculums, and bringing it back to blocking

(09:28):
and tackling to make our kids successfulas adults. If he sticks to that
and his disciplined, he wins easily. The problem is he can't and he
gets into the food fights, andthat ends up being a bad thing.
Stop talking about the past, misterTrump. Talk about the future and you
win. I can guarantee it.Yeah, that's good political advice. I
agree with you. Joe, alwaysa pleasure. Joe Kanscha contributed to Fox
News and columnists for The Hill. We'll talk against him. Goodbye, mister

(09:52):
Bartlett, hit him shape. Thankyou.
