(00:00):
But all right here with you,Michael Cooper, producing five sixty six nine
zeros of text line. You guyswant to get involved in the conversation.
I dropped my mock draft earlier today. We'll probably be discussing that quite a
bit on the show. Going tothat here in just a few busy day
run the league. A lot ofextensions getting done prior to the draft.
We saw Penny Sewel obviously with theDetroit Lions, and I'm on Rossa Brown

(00:22):
as well as the Lions are firmlyin their window obviously making those extensions.
No Jared Goff extension on the horizon, but that's uh, that was some
interesting news to come out come outtoday that they paid both of those the
lot of a lot of his predraft buzz going on a lot of you

(00:48):
know, it's interesting to me howthese rumors, you know, come out
right before the draft, and almostnone of them are true. Right We
get a lot of you get floodedwith information in the three days before the
draft, and very often they're justnot true. I don't there's a lot

(01:11):
of stuff out there right now,and I you know, I've talked about,
for instance, the quarterbacks, howI think that Michael Pennocks and Bonix
or Day two guys, it doesn'tmean that a team can't fall in love
with them and you know, moveup in a Day one to get them
or whatever uh in in those scenarios. But the people I've talked to,
by and large don't don't really haveMichael Pennix going as early as perhaps a
lot of people here are trying tobelieve that. Again, they could be

(01:34):
wrong. I could be wrong. It is entirely possible, but as we
sits right now, a lot ofthis stuff that's going on seems a bit
ridiculous. One thing I will tellyou teams, a lot of teams are
moving up trying to get offensive lineman. There's a there's a distinct drop off,
you know after about seven or eightof them, nine of them,
give or take, and and afterthat you know there's there's kind of a

(01:57):
drop off with the with these offensivetackles. So there's a lot a lot
of people that are jocking for position, moving up to get ap lineman,
not just tackles either. Graham Bartonis somebody that could probably go earlier than
expected. You know JPJ the Centerout of Oregon, who you know,
we talked with Dan Lanning about himsomebody that initially was kind of sliding due
to the concussions. But you know, he might might be a guy that
winds up getting back into the firstround just just due to scarcity and you

(02:23):
know, talent tears at the position. I think we're all pretty set on
picks one, two, and threeat this point. I think it's going
to be quarterbacks. I I dobelieve that it's gonna go Kaylei Williams,
Jane Daniels, Drake May one, two, three, we'll see. Maybe
maybe JJ McCarthy does, but Ibelieve those are gonna be the first three.
We'll see. But as we aswe start to get into this thing,

(02:46):
uh and get closer, you seeall this stuff, all these things
come out. A lot of it, you know, a lot of it
is just people shotgunning information out therehoping something sticks so they could say,
hey see look I did this, and burying it in the deluge of him
information that you get at this pointbecause you're not going to remember it.
Most of the times, you're notgonna remember it nless it's right, you

(03:07):
know, oh hey, this person, you're not seeking out the wrong stuff,
so be careful with a lot ofthis information overload. As as the
draft gets real, real close. We saw, I don't remember how many
years ago, somebody started the airrogers rumor that a trade was coming on
draft day. That was never somethingthat was happening. We talked about it
here on KOA in terms of thisis something they're exploring, but there was

(03:30):
nothing that was imminent with that. But I just caution everybody, you know,
the best information, honestly, andthis is something for you all to
remember for the future, is thebest information actually comes out right after the
combine. Because what happens is everybodyputs that information out and then people pick

(03:50):
and choose and kind of cobble togetherand frankenstein these things, and then this
sort of echo chamber or group thinkstarts to happen. And what we get
is, you know, a circularlogic type scenario where bad information just circles
to drain. After a while, the good information sometimes gets filtered out.
Sometimes the good information sticks around, but sometimes it gets filtered out. So

(04:16):
you know, that's that's one ofthose things that I would I would be
careful of a lot of smoke about, you know. Jane Daniels and all
this kind of stuff. Daniels cameout talk to Sam Fortier of the Washington
Post, all these people saying hewouldn't play for the Commanders or whatever our
perceptions. He'd like to go somewhereelse. Obviously, he'd like to play
that Toiyo Peers, that's his formercoach at Arizona State, and I know

(04:40):
the Raiders love it, but he'snot gonna get there. Daniels came out
today said I'm blessed to go whereverI'm called. Whoever calls my phone.
When Commissioner gets up and says myname, I'll be blessed and they're going
to get my ole. He wasfollowed up and specifically asked if he'd be
okay being drafted by Washington Jane Davisat one hundred percent. He wants to

(05:00):
go as high as possible, andso you know we'll go from there.
This that just goes to address someof this stuff that comes out. I
guess as we get closer to thesethings we talked about, I'm on ros
Saint Brown signed that extension with theDetroit Lions. Petty Sewell signed his extension

(05:23):
number roz is Worth more than likeone hundred and twenty million, seventy seven
of it guaranteed, making the highestpaid receiver in the NFL. But those
are the preliminary numbers. We'll seewhat that looks like, you know,
once the full details get put outthere. Right now, the draft starts
at three with the New England Patriots. I'm I'm pretty comfortable thinking they're going

(05:45):
to take Drake May. The questionfor me was whether or not they were
going to get an offer from theGiants, or more specifically, the Vikings
to get up there to three. And I just I mean, yesterday,
if you'd ask, yeah, Ihave told you I thought the Vikings were
gonna crack and go to three.Today, get a little less that vibe.
Maybe it's, like I said, maybe it's the pre draft information deluge,

(06:09):
you know, I'm not I'm notsure, but at this point I
think for me, I think thePatriots are gonna stick and pick. So
we'll kind of see. I've goneback and forth on this a few times,
and when I put my mock draftout, I had them sticking and
picking. So we'll we'll see howthat shakes out. Five six, six

(06:30):
nine zeros A text line I willget into my mock draft here, uh,
directly, so we'll get a chanceto kind of kind of go over
that. The Pittsburgh Steelers did somecontract stuff with with high Smith, freeing
up some money, and that thatinterests me. They were a team that
had called about Brandon Ayuka a coupleof weeks ago. They are a team

(06:54):
that could potentially be looking at atrade for Courtland's Sutton, So it would
it would interest me seeing how thatgoes. Setting the course holding out from
voluntary workouts right now seeking a newdeal is he only has two million dollars
guaranteed left on his deal. BillBelichick is gonna have a recurring role on

(07:17):
the Monday Night Football Manning Cast thatwas that was put out today, the
ESPN's alternate broadcast with Peyton and EliManning. He's not gonna be on every
week, but he will be arecurring guest. In the past, the
Manning Cast that only featured one offguests and no regular contributors. Belichick does

(07:40):
still want to be a head coach. He's gonna spend twenty twenty four working
in media and that is going tostart Thursday night when he's gonna work the
draft alongside Pat McAfee. Obviously we'regonna have draft coverage here right here on
KAWA, so uh taking you throughthe entire draft myself, Ryan Edwards,
Dave Logan, Big Alberta, Cristal, Nick Ferguson, and some special guests

(08:01):
as well. Looking forward to bringyou all the draft coverage immediately following the
KOI Sports Show Thursday, the draftcoverage will take the place in Broncos Country
tonight. It will continue Friday,We'll continue Saturday here on KOA and then
switch to k HOW and the Rockiescome on on Saturday. So just set
your calendars and be ready for thatfive six six nine zero. I will

(08:26):
I'll answer you questions if I seethem come in and I haven't already gotten
them the what are we talking highSmith with the Steelers. Yeah, they
reworked his stuff and freed up somemore some more space there. And that's
one that that interests me because whileit's not really you know, kind of
getting talked about, it creates morethan seven million dollars in cap room for

(08:50):
the team to use over the restof the off season, and that would
you know, that would help createthe space for them to be able to
perhaps trade for a Courtland Sutton andthen give him an extension. So high
Smith was set to make a basesalary of ten point seven this season.
He converted some of that to signingbonus and freed up about seven million.

(09:13):
He sent a four million excuse me, a four year extension. I p
hisburg last year. He's under contractthrough twenty twenty seven. Uh, do
you want to get into the mockdraft? And we'll do that a second.
The Bengals did exercise Jamar Chase's fifthyear option. We already talked about
the Broncos exercising Pats er Tans fifthyear option. Jim Irsay came out and

(09:35):
said they have interest in Marvin Harrisonjunior legacy thing there. Yeah, I
think we all have interest in MartinHarrison junior. I don't still think the
coolts can get there. If yougo to the KWA main page, you
can and see my mock draft outthere at KA Colorado dot iHeart dot com.

(09:58):
I believe it's on the right thereon the front of the main page.
You'd say, like Ben's mock draftor Ben all Wrights mock draft,
something like that. I might haveto scroll a little bit it's it's it's
in there though. I'll just saythat, and you get the opportunity to
look and see what I think couldoccur with this draft. I had a

(10:18):
lot of fun putting that together.I do one mock draft every year.
I get tired of people who dofifty thousand mock drafts because then what they
did up doing is say on socialmedia, thump on their chest because they
got one thing right in one ofthe fifty million attempts that they had.
And I don't know, I guess, I just I look at that and
I don't. I just I don't. I don't find anything worthwhile about that.

(10:43):
Like if you do a mock draftand you pour your time and effort
into it and you got one ofthem and you get things, you know,
I think you should be judging onthat, not on the fifty million
revisions that you had. So youknow what do I know? I'm just
some guy, but that's that's mytake on it. So uh five six
six nine zero. If you guyshave questions or comments, I am gonna

(11:07):
jump in on this thing. I'llgive you some advanced intel before I do.
I think there are a couple ofteams that are monitoring and will possibly
move from the second back into thefirst. I think the Texans and Commanders,
and two of those teams. Ibelieve the Commanders want an offensive tackle.

(11:30):
I talked on social media, butthe Bills making calls about moving up
for a wide receiver. I thinkthey're making those calls. I'm not sure
it's going to happen. There isa lot of chatter about Michael Pennix specifically
in the first round, specifically recently. Most people I've talked to their teams

(11:50):
aren't considering that, but could seemanother team doing it. Maybe I would
suggest that the three teams that wouldbe the biggest to jump back into the
first for Pennix are probably the Patriots, Giants, and possibly the Raiders who
are smitting with Jade Daniels but notgonna be able to get there. I

(12:11):
do believe there's some wide receivers thatcould be traded during this draft that'll shake
up the outcomes. Brandon I useCourtland Sutton, two of those names.
A lot of teams trying to moveup to get offensive tackle. We'll see
how that shakes out, and thenthe Broncos. Listeners of this show will

(12:35):
know how I feel about the Broncosin this situation. So what I'll say
is this, this close to thedraft, I don't think I'm tipping anything
at this point. I think thereis one very incredibly specific scenario in which
Denver would try to trade up.I'm not projecting that. I don't think
it's gonna happen, but I thinkif a certain quarterback were available at a

(12:56):
certain point, I think they wouldtry. I don't think it's likely.
I would put it in a verylow percentage, but I'm not ruling anything
out. So without further ado,for the first pick, I have the

(13:18):
Chicago Bears selecting Caleb Williams, andI think that's a no brainer. I
think everybody's known this since like theSenior Bowl back in January, when the
Bears were pretty openly shopping justin fields. Despite reports to the contrary, I
think Caleb Williams is the best quarterbackin this draft. I think the Bears.
I mean, I don't think there'sany scenario here where the Bears blow

(13:43):
this. So Caleb Williams I havegoing number one. At number two,
I have the Washington Commanders selecting JadenDaniels. Nearly universally everyone I talked to
had Daniels over Drake May. Iknow, media people and fans and bloggers

(14:03):
and all that all ahead Drake May. I mean, I think the gap
between Jade and Daniels and Drake Mayis bigger than the gap between Drake May
and JJ McCarthy. And I'll saythat because the people that I've talked to
seem to think that, and peoplethat talk to that work in the league
seem to think that. Now,whether that's true or not, I guess,

(14:24):
you know, obviously, time willtell. We'll see that play itself
out. I think the Patriots engagedin talks excuse me, the commanders engaged
in talks with the Raiders, butthey went nowhere. They basically just said,
look, we're not trading this pick, and that was that. Maybe

(14:48):
the Raiders put together something that blowsthem away last minute, But as of
right now, I just don't seea scenario where the Commanders are taking Jade
and Daniels at number two at numberthree. I have the New England Patriots
sticking and picking Drake May. AndI thought the Vikings might crack, they

(15:09):
might offer up that hole, dowhat it would take. But at the
end of the day. I justbased on conversations I've had, I'm not
getting the vibe that they make thatmove. They can go to five significantly
cheaper, still get a guy, maybe not Drake May, but still get

(15:31):
a guy. And so I'm gonnahave the Patriots go ahead and take Drake
May. The other part of thisis Patriots ownership with their thumb on the
scale. I think if it wassolely up to Elliott Wolf, they would
trade back. I think the dealwould be done. But I think Patriots'
ownership has their thumb on the scalehere. They want the quarterback. Elliot

(15:52):
Wolf wants the full time job,and you know at Robert Craft has let
Jonathan Kraft run some of this.So I have three quarterbacks going in the
first three picks, and we'll getto the second. We'll get to the
rest of the mock draft in thenext segment. But we got to hit
a break here, so let's dothat. We'll hit a break and we
come back. We'll get it picksfour through thirty two on my What and

(16:15):
Only Mock Draft. You are listeningto Broncos Country tonight right here on KOA
say fifty am ninety four one FMNews Talk Sports five six six nine zeros

(16:38):
text line. If you guys gotquestions, I'll try to get to those
and answer those as well. HappyDraft fromus. Eve is the eve of
the NFL Draft, and of courseyou can get all your NFL Draft coverage
right here at KOA, myself,Ryan Edwards, Stave Logan, big Al
Berndanck, Cristal, Nick Ferguson, and a bunch of special guests. Starting

(17:00):
tomorrow, you have the KAW SportsShow and it's it's regular time. And
then immediately following that, instead ofBroncos Country to night, we'll launch right
into our NFL Draft coverage. We'regonna have coverage down at Duve Valley Live
as is the Broncos are looking tomake their pick. We're also going to
have coverage out at the Broncos Draftparty out at the stadium, so we'll

(17:22):
have h We'll have additional coverage outthere for that. It's gonna be gonna
be a big event, So youwant to set you a dial and tune
in here. We'll have all theinformation for you guys first. And you
know, we always love doing thedraft stuff here. It's it's like it's
like our Christmas it's like Christmas forme. So five six, six nine
zero is the text line. Andwe were talking about the mock draft,

(17:47):
and I dropped you, guys,I want to read my mock draft.
You can go to Kwait Colorado dotiHeart dot com. It's there on the
main page and from there you canfigure out it's It's there on the main
page, so you can figure itout. We had picks one through three
already done. To recap that forthose of you who are just tuning in.
I had the Bears taking Caleb Williamsat pick one, the Commander's taking

(18:08):
Jayden Daniels quarterback Lsu had pick two, the New England Patriots taking quarterback Drake
May at pick three. I dobelieve the Vikings will will try to do
that, but I'm not one hundredpercent sure they're going to be able to
make that maneuver. All right,So one, two, three, we've
got Caleb Williams, got Jayden andDaniels, Drake May. Again, I

(18:34):
do think, I do think theVikings play around with that three, and
maybe sometime between now and the draftthey get something done there. But right
now I'm eighty percent the Patriots stickand pick so I'm giving them Drake May.
All right, let's get into thisthing. Pick four. I have
the Arizona Cardinals staying put at selectingwide receiver Marvin Harrison. I do think

(19:02):
the trade backs possible. I justdon't think that interested parties are going to
be willing to give them enough tomove off of four uh and give up
a wide receiver prospect like that.Conversations I've had suggest that if the Broncos
were trying to move up to getMcCarthy, this is the first spot that
they look at. But I'm justnot convinced that the Broncos have the ammunition
to do this without completely bankrupting theirtheir draft capital and not being able to

(19:27):
build her on a quarterback. Sowe'll see. But I have I have
the Cardinals here at four, stickingand picking and taking Marvin Harrison Junior.
At five, I have the Vikings, the Minnesota Vikings trading up. They
missed out on Drake May, butyou know they get the opportunity to trade

(19:53):
up and get their guy. Thecompensation I have as the Chargers give the
fifth pick to the Vikings and theyget the eleven pick, pick one twenty
nine. In this year's draft, next year's first rounder, and a twenty
twenty six second rounder to move upthe six spots that they get that they
would move up there to do that. And you know, I've talked about

(20:14):
this before because everybody tries to comeup with your sideways about this. Well,
the Broncos don't have the event.Well, the Broncos aren't trading to
five. Okay, they can't.Well I said they can't. They can.
It's just not likely. And thereason that I say that is Jim
Horbaugh is not going to trade awayhis boy, his prize quarterback from the
University of Michigan in division to theDenver Broncos. So for the Broncos,

(20:36):
if you're trying to get there, you have to go four to six.
You can't really go five a divisionrival. It's just it's just not gonna
happen. And the cost to getto five is less than what it would
take to get to four. Andthat's how we end up having that workout.
The Giants it picked six. Ihave selecting wide receiver Elite Neighbors out
of LSU. Several teams do havehim as the top wide receiver in this

(20:56):
draft. I know there's some somethought that maybe they go with Doomsay.
I went with Neighbors. I thinkhe's a better fit, but that's just
me. The Titans at pick seven, I have offensive tackled Joe Alt.
I don't I'm not ruling out awide receiver there, but I think Alt
is the favorite. Obviously, you'vegot Bill Callahan as the offensive line coach

(21:23):
there, son of Brian Callahan, the head coach the Tennessee and it just
it feels like offensive tackles probably theyou know, the move to make here.
At eight, I went back andforth. I ended up going with
Dallas Turner over lat Too and Murphy. Dallas Murphy's excuse me. Dallas Turner

(21:44):
is the best coverage edge rusher ina scheme that demands the edges dropped back
at times. So I feel likethat that's just the best fit for the
Falcons. So Alabama edge Dallas Turnerat eight. At nine, I had
another trade. I had the NewOrleans Saints moving up with the Bears.
Saints are desperate for an offensive tackle. I had them trade up and selecting

(22:07):
Ulufashunu at of Penn State. Andin this particular trade, New Orleans was
moving up five spots. They giveup pick fourteen a twenty twenty five second
and pick one fifty in order tomove up to nine. At ten,
this one was where it started toget a little, you know, a
little silly. There's a lot ofpeople that think that they should go roam
with dunes there. There's a lotof people that think that they should go

(22:30):
Fuaga there, And I'm not opposedto either one. I went ahead and
went with brock Bowers just because there'sa versatility, more of a mismatch tight
end off the line. Why therefor Aaron Rodgers, Jets are all in
this year. Ride receivers tend totake two years to kind of hit their
stride. You could go Fuaga andthe you know, the protection angle here.
I wouldn't be a I wouldn't besurprised if they did that, but

(22:52):
I would have had and went withbrock Bowers for the Jets. Ten at
eleven, the Chargers, who hadtraded back with Minnesota previously dup taking JC
Latham. I think that's kind ofthe apple of their eye. I know
a lot of people are on theChargers to take a wide receiver. Wouldn't
be surprised if they did that.I believe they can get quality wide receivers
later, though, I just do. I believe they can get quality wide
receivers later, and I don't thinkthat it's really that it's really an issue

(23:18):
for them, because they can. They can stockpile later and still get Latham
at twelve, which I think everybodyhere locally is listening for. I had
the Denver Broncos trading back with thePhiladelphia Eagles. In this particular scenario,
Denver gives up pick twelve and theyget picks twenty two, fifty and one

(23:41):
seventy two back from the Eagles.Fifty is a second rounder, by the
way, that would allow them somefreedom a little bit later. In this
scenario, I have the Eagles attwelve, selecting corner Quinyan Mitchell out of
Toledo. I pick thirteen. Ihave the Raiders staying put and selecting corner

(24:03):
Terry and Arnold out of Alabama.I firmly believe they could go offensive line
there. Not buying the Pennix atthirteen hype, I know you've got a
ton of this, and I'm notsaying Panis can't go in the first I
don't think he will necessarily, butit only takes one team that said,
I mean, looking at this,I went ahead with with corner here,
and there's gonna be some offensive linestuff that they can get a little bit

(24:26):
later as well. It picked fourteen. This is the pick the Bears got
back from New Orleans. Straightened upto nine. I had the Bears taking
defensive tackle Byron Murphy. He's thepremier interior defensive line talent the draft,
and you know, you pair himup with Montes Sweat, and all of
a sudden, you've got a prettydynamic pass rush there up front to go
with your new and improved offense onthe other side. At fifteen, I

(24:49):
have the Colts stopping the slide.I have the Colts selecting wide receiver Roam
with Dunes out of Washington. It'sa weapon for Anthony Richardson. I could
see a trade down here if theColts and Bills could come to some kind
of agreement, I could absolutely seethat. But I went ahead and went
with Roman Dunze there at fifteen. At sixteen Seattle Seahawks, I have them
staying put and taking Troy Fautanu outof Washington. Bryan Grubb. Obviously,

(25:14):
this was his collegiate coach is nowthe offensive cordator of the Seahawks. That
feels like one of the easier connectionsto draw up or make a seventeen would
have been the Jacksonville Jaguars. AndI tried to have some fun with this
mock draft a little bit. SoI projected a trade, and I projected
the forty nine Ers trading Jacksonville BrandonAyuk. And in this particular scenario,
Jacksonville gives up pick seventeen and pickone sixteen and they get Brandon Ayuk and

(25:38):
pick thirty one back. And that'sthe equivalent of trading Ayuk for a second
rounder when you when you use thedraft value chart, when all said and
done, it's the equivalent of gettingBrandon Ayuk for you know, a second
rounder and a little change. SoI have the Niners trading in here and
selecting wide receiver Brian Thomas out ofLSU team made them elite neighbors. At

(26:00):
eighteen. I put the Bengals onoffensive linemen Talisi Fuaga. I think that's
a little lower than a lot ofpeople think he would go, but that's
that's where I ended up putting him. At nineteen. I had the Rams
selecting edge rusher lad To Latsu, one of my personal favorites in this draft.
I think offensive tackle would be astrong consideration for the Rams, but

(26:22):
I wound up with I wound upputting Latu in there. At twenty I
put the Pittsburgh Steelers on offensive linemanGraham Barton. Barton's out at Duke.
He could play just about everything. The Steelers definitely need a center. He's
projected that Russ we all know needsclean a gaps to operate. So I
think, you know, I thinkthat getting Graham Barton there would be a

(26:48):
big, big move for the Steelers. And the Dolphins of course, would
be crestfallen by that because they wouldbe looking at him as well, picking
right after the Steelers. So Ihad the Dolphins at twenty one selecting Jackson
Powers Johnson out of Oregon the center. I think his personality sort of fits
Mike McDaniel. And now you're talkingabout a guy who's had some concussions and

(27:08):
that you know that might be anissue for some teams, But you know,
I think he's a guy who addsa little little toughness to their line,
a little smart He's a smart guy, and I think his personality meshes
really well with Mike McDaniel, soI put that in there. At twenty
two, the Denver Broncos would bepicking after the swap of the Philadelphia Eagles.

(27:30):
I think it's entirely possible they couldmove back yet again, but in
this particular scenario, I went aheadand gave a pick to him, and
I gave them edge rusher Jared Verseout of Florida State, putting him opposite
Nick Bonito and allowing Baron Browning andJonathan Cooper to work in rotation. I
think makes his defense a lot better. They could always use pick fifty and
pair that up with some other stuffto move up in the second round and

(27:52):
get bow Nicks, who I believewill be there. So we'll see,
but that's what I had The Broncoswind up doing is trading back getting Jared
Verse, and then wind up gettingbo Nix in the second round at twenty
three. The Vikings. Now alot of people question me on this because
they thought I included this pick inthe trade up. I did not include
this. I include a future first. So the Vikings kept this pick and

(28:15):
they take offensive lineman Tyler Geiten Geitonis a tackle and guard prospect, and
I think you would play guard initially, filling in the spot that Dalton Reisner
left for the Vikings and give theminsurance on Darisaw who's up for contract I
believe next year. And you know, I think that's that's an interesting pick.

(28:38):
At twenty four of the Cowboys,I put them on offensive lineman a
Marius Mims out of Georgia. Mimsis a massive mountain of a man to
play the tackle position. I don'tthink the Cowboys can afford a trade up.
They just don't have the picks andthey need to have plenty of holes
that they've got to fill. Millsis a is sort of a excuse me,
a sort of a question mark becauseyou know, he doesn't have a

(29:02):
lot of reps. And I hadto a scout tell me, you know,
this is Juwan James two point zero, which which you know, I
think everybody in Denver gets a littleworried they hear stuff like that. But
I I went ahead put the Cowboyson a Marius Mims at twenty four.
At twenty five, I put theGreen Bay Packers on defensive back out of
Iowa, Cooper, Dejene Dejon, excuse me. He's a versatile dB.

(29:22):
Can play safety, can play corner, you know that heavy heavy nickel,
the slot package, whatever. Iwouldn't be surprised to see the Packers try
to move up. Maybe if Terryand Arnold you know, slips a little
bit. But I went ahead puthim on the Jeene here because it gives
them opportunity to do some some somethings and move chess piece around. He's
a guy that if he falls, wouldn't mind seeing him on the Ravens.

(29:45):
Feels like he's somebody that fits wellwith what they do as well. But
I went ahead put him in there. Twenty six pack, twenty six overall.
For the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Iput them on edge, rusher,
Chop Robinson. A couple options here. I could have gone corner, could
have gone edge. Ultimately, weedge because I think Todd Bowles values that
and the rotation there getting pressure that'llsave the corners on the back end.

(30:10):
At twenty seven projected my final trade. I had a team trading up at
the Washington Commanders, trading back intothe round to get a tackle to protect
Jayden Daniels. I went ahead andhad them move picks thirty six and seventy
eight to get up to twenty sevenwith Arizona and selects Patrick Pohl, the

(30:32):
offensive tackle. Paul's brother Chris Paulplays for the Commanders already, so there's
a little bit of a connection there. At twenty eight, I had the
Buffalo Bills, who I know aretrying to move up and get a wide
receiver. I just don't know they'regoing to be successful. So I put
them on Xavier Worthy. Now we'rethese bit smallish, but he's got a

(30:56):
lot of speed, and you know, you kind of feel like somebody that
the Bills could use as a verticalweapon with Josh Allen's cannon of an arm.
He just put the ball out there, let him go get it,
and that that feels like somebody thatthat fits what it is that they that
they want to do there. Andobviously they need receivers. I thought,

(31:18):
you know, maybe they trade backand get a ke Coleman and add some
other receivers. I suspect the Billsare going to draft more than one receiver
in this draft, so we'll seehow that works out. At twenty nine,
I had the Detroit Lions taking cornerkool Aid mckinistry out of Alabama.
You can say it, oh yeah, I feel like I feel like he's
a guy. And if he's notthere, I would not be surprised to

(31:41):
see the Lions trade out out oftwenty nine into the second round. And
if somebody wanted to come up andget a quarterback at that point, I
think that's you know, that's kindof a prime spot right there at twenty
nine. At thirty I went allover the map on this one. The
Baltimore Ravens. I kind of likedCooper does you need to them? But
it was impossible get him to themin this scenario. I wound up going

(32:05):
ahead and getting them offensive lineman JordanMorgan. But I went back and forth
on that one quite a bit.At picked thirty one, now this is
the pick that came back to theJaguars. In that pick swap that landed
the Jags. Ayuk. They lineup, they wind up with corner Nate
Wiggins. Wiggins is somebody I thinkcould slip. But you know, you
wind up with a with a draftwhere you end up not having to give

(32:27):
up a whole lot. You know, you give up some position, but
you still come away with with Wigginsand IU giving up pick seventeen and one
to sixteen. You know, Ifeel like it's a win for both teams.
But the Jags, I think yougotta feel good about that. And
then the Chiefs at picked thirty two, I went with the offensive lineman at
BYU at Kingsley Sua Matayaya, andI screw that up every time. My

(32:49):
tongue doesn't want to do but Idon't want to pronounce it the way it's
supposed to. H on him wentwith that BYU connection Andy Reid, so
I went ahead, and you know, it kind of went with that.
There's a corner from Michigan I thoughtcould have I could have slipped in there,
but you know, it's just oneof those things where at the end
of the day I wound up goingthe direction that you know that I went.
And we'll see. So you guyscan tell me what you think of

(33:10):
that. Tell me what you thinkof the mock draft five six sixty nine
zeros A text line. I alwayslove doing that every year. It's a
labor love. I put a lotof time and effort into it. You
guys, I don't think know howmuch Ryan Edwards can probably talk about that'll
buch ever I put into that, but just the calls and you know,
and everything else and trying to movestuff around and kind of go a little
bit crazy, I think towards theen when I'm getting ready to publish it,

(33:31):
you know, going to full Divamode or whatever. But I enjoy
doing that. It's a lot offun, and I hope you guys get
something out of it, and youknow, like I said, hopefully we'll
have some fun. Uh. Obviously, we've got the Draft coming up tomorrow.
