My stamp on the world. Uh.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
I like think to think it's it's it's it's doing
good for people, But in all essons, I don't I
don't necessarily know if it is it's. It's certainly offered
people a good time, and.

There's only forty calories and the whole jug Wow, yeah,
it's eight servings, five calories of serving, eight oun servings
and do that with some teto's. Throw a strawberry in
there just to make it.

Speaker 5 (02:56):
Ooh, kind little garnish, little garnish, and then a full
bottle of Jameis and orange went down a couple of
Corona premiums.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
So yeah, you know, I'm I'm rare to go. Uh
but lord, uh, having having been able to give that
many people so many memories is definitely rewarding. But it
it's it's not like what I'm I'm I'm jumping into

(03:28):
and I I don't want to give everything away, but
imagine that, uh, health coverage is a challenge for you,

(03:49):
and then I can come and offer you forty prescription
meds for free for seven dollars a month for up
to six people in your house. That's that's what we're
talking about here, and and that's that's me trying to
actually do something good from that standpoint. Uh before before
I depart this uh uh this this piece of rock.

Speaker 4 (04:11):
Oh geez, so I got morbid quick? Lord you know,
I I you're acting like that's gonna happen soon. Whoa, whoa,
I've been I've been on borrowed time for about the
twenty years. Yeah, the I guess the tailgates take effect
after a while. You're like an NFL player, you know,

(04:33):
like you've retired and then you feel the effects of
uh of tailgating every day.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
Every day, dude, I get out of bed and it's like,
oh not not not me doing that.

Speaker 4 (04:49):
Oh yeah no, that's that's bones creaking.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
Yeah, but uh all right, let me get through this.

Speaker 4 (05:29):
Shut out by the way, she is amazing.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
She's awesome, awesome, Stephanie Morgan now president and CEO of
the Green Legion.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
Uh she is uh, she is on top of everything. Man.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
It's been great, honestly, handing over the rains and so
everybody knows, you know, when when I announced my retirement
here on the show What over the summer last year? Yeah, Jansen,
And you know it's it's not something that I'm completely

(06:03):
walking away from. All Right, Steph is going to be
transitioning for a bunch of years, and I'm gonna be
there next to her the entire time. The only thing
that I wanted to do, really, you guys, is to
just take some load off of H.

Speaker 4 (06:21):
Enjoy yourself a little more. Good lord, No, no, no, no, no,
you know what, man. I know you did, but those
are stressful. I've seen you. It is stressful to put
on something like that, and I've seen you just running
around like a madman.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
It is it is, You're right, but it's it's not
that I don't mind that. I for some sick twisted reason,
I'm kind of used to it.

Speaker 3 (06:44):
But it's the travel.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
It is the on a plane twice a week for
eighteen plus weeks in a row. And it it's the alcohol.
It's the lack of sleep. It's the uh no, diet,
by the way, diet now one ninety you sons of bitches.

Speaker 3 (07:06):
Whoa you're in one nine ninety? Oh yeah? Man, hold on, wow,
look at you yo. Check it out. Baby nice. Yeah,
I got I got four of my six is back.

Speaker 2 (07:18):
But uh, it's just it's just getting away from, you know,
some of the trips.

Speaker 3 (07:24):
Like I don't even know it's.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
I say that I don't want to go on a
lot of these trips, but I'm I'm going to. You know,
I'm gonna wind up going on these trips, you know it,
But I might cut them back by like four or
five a year.

Speaker 3 (07:43):
And that's what I'm trying to do. Give myself a break.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
I just want to go over to the Parrot, do
the radio show, not give a damn sit there, go
to the Elbow after that, get plastered, and find some
uh uh some some hot crazy, which apparently that's all
I attract these days, is hot crazy and back to
the pool.

Speaker 3 (08:06):
That's it. That's all I want to do.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
But yeah, so I'm still gonna be involved, gonna be
at every home game, that's a fact. You know, we
have the show. I believe Trey Thomas will be joining
us again this year, which has been and to me.

Speaker 3 (08:23):
An absolute god send.

Speaker 2 (08:24):
Thanks to you guys man over at at the studio for.

Speaker 3 (08:28):
Getting him in touch with me. I think Sean did
that for me, like at the at the Midnight hour
last season. I want to say, guy Mike Powers helped
out with that as well. I think so.

Speaker 4 (08:43):
I think he had a seg worked with Tray, so
I will I will give Powers a shout out either
way because Powers.

Speaker 3 (08:47):
I'll give Powers a shout out, although I yelled at
him the last time. Four Powers.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
Anyway, Mike Powers, I love you. Yeah, So that's that's
that's the.

Speaker 3 (09:01):
Plan, you guys.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
And uh, I'm gonna send something out about that on
social media.

Speaker 3 (09:06):
Uh so people know.

Speaker 4 (09:08):
But yeah, uh, as long as we get some Quimby
I need.

Speaker 3 (09:13):

That's enough for me to be happy.

and Vhees, New Jersey, and of course E and J
Mobile Cigar Lounge.

Speaker 3 (10:07):
Let's see, I do have a topic. I thought about
this for for for a hot minute, because.

Speaker 4 (10:16):
The appropriate amount of time to think about a show
topic just a minute.

Speaker 3 (10:19):
Yeah, yes, real quick.

Speaker 2 (10:21):
I get on it at twelve fifty nine and I
go Jansen, I have nothing to talk about, and he goes,
I worry about it.

Speaker 3 (10:29):
We can't talk about anything.

Speaker 4 (10:30):
That's when we do inves work.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
I don't even I don't even know where to start
with anything, like, oh, I can tell you where I start.

Speaker 3 (10:39):
Though, Hold on, this is this is fun.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
So my friends down here, Katie and Tyler, they they
park their boat here on my dock and we went out.
I think it was diggity.

Speaker 3 (11:00):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (11:00):
I lost a day somewhere. I thought it was Thursday
yesterday and it was Friday. Avelink, What the hell just happened?

Speaker 3 (11:06):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (11:07):
But man, we're like the second to last canal in
Fort Lauderdale.

Speaker 3 (11:17):
If you know anything about.

Speaker 2 (11:21):
The city of Fort Lauderdale. I live in Lauderdale Isles, which,
by the way, sold the house yesterday, so that's gonna
be fun. But for us to get to the inner
coastal or you know, even the fun part of Lauderdale,

(11:46):
you know, it's good forty minutes, it's good forty minutes,
and it's all no wake, so you're just puttsing along
that you're going through Las Souls.

Speaker 3 (11:54):
Uh, you know, it's fun, it's it's fun. But man, chanting, dude, I.

Speaker 2 (12:01):
I've been around wealth. I don't have it. I make
a little bit of coin. I'm happy I got zero coin.

Speaker 3 (12:09):
No, I'm sorry. Do you need a sugar daddy?

Speaker 4 (12:13):
If you're offering basically already feels like you're one right now?

Speaker 3 (12:17):
Yeah, I know, right you think anyway? Sorry did I
say that? Loops?

Speaker 2 (12:26):
But uh, man, the amount of wealth you putts by
in a boat to get from where I live to
the inner coastal is staggering. Staggering. The boats, the yachts,
the houses. Oh dude, it I don't I don't feel jealous.

(12:53):
You know, you guys, you guys, well, you guys can
see you know, I've got a nice house, I've lived well.
This this career has afforded me opportunities that most people.

Speaker 3 (13:05):
Don't have, and where some people.

Speaker 2 (13:09):
Take offense to that, which I don't know why. I
certainly love it when my friends are successful, and for
some reason some people have never really wanted anybody in
Philadelphia to be successful, which I don't understand that.

Speaker 3 (13:26):
Some of you know what I'm talking about.

Speaker 2 (13:28):
But you know I love going by there, and even
though I don't have that kind of money, I just
kind of love knowing that it exists.

Speaker 4 (13:40):
Seriously, So that's where that is.

Speaker 3 (13:42):
No, that's where the money is. The boats that were
going past these oh gosh.

Speaker 2 (13:48):
You know they're fifteen twenty million dollars plus and there's
at least a thousand that we went past.

Speaker 4 (13:56):
That like something I should experience being on a yacht once.
Just want to tell you, Okay, with.

Speaker 3 (14:01):
A bunch of Columbian prostitutes and a big bag of
I don't need.

Speaker 4 (14:07):
I don't need all that.

Speaker 3 (14:09):
That's the only he said.

Speaker 4 (14:11):
He's never required. Every yacht just comes with that that's required.
Uh No, it's about as like essential as the anchor
to the boat. Like that's their their menu add ons.
Good lord, I don't need to get add ons from
your menu. Quib I don't need that. Oh damn it.
I never went live.

Speaker 3 (14:32):
Oops.

Speaker 4 (14:33):
You're live on the air though, so we are live there.

Speaker 3 (14:36):
That's great.

Speaker 4 (14:36):
That was just me being able to get to see
you your beautiful face.

Speaker 2 (14:39):
Yeah, so we'll figure this out by the time we
get through the first time. But uh, but yeah, man,
it's just awesome, awesome, awesome getting yelled at by big
boats going past us.

Speaker 4 (14:58):
Oh you gotta yelled at Oh.

Speaker 2 (14:59):
Yeah, that's the polite way of saying, get the hell
out of the way.

Speaker 3 (15:05):
And so yeah, but.

Speaker 2 (15:11):
Yeah, and thanks for shams.

Speaker 3 (15:15):
As opposed to the weather last year.

Speaker 2 (15:18):
This time last year, the weather was raining almost every
day during the spring, and we haven't had any rain
save one day out.

Speaker 3 (15:29):
Of the last month. It's not well, no, you know
it's coming. It's definitely coming. It's not gonna stops up.

Speaker 2 (15:38):
But you know, we have a good you know, May
through June before it really starts to hammer away. And
and then you, brave little bastard, no wonder these things
keep falling overt Iguana's jumping up on my temporary lights in.

Speaker 3 (15:57):
Sorry I'm gonna go.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
Get the rifle and take care of him right now now.
But at the break, which is coming up real soon.

Speaker 4 (16:07):
What we're gonna turn into like a crocodile hunting show?

Speaker 2 (16:10):
I don't know, the South Park episode when they're pretending
to be Steve Irwin and they meet a frozen.

Speaker 3 (16:23):
Guy from the past. Oh god, he's from Iowa anyway?
Oh do we have here? All right?

Speaker 2 (16:33):
So we come back from break, we are gonna start
start talking about next season. I actually would like to
talk about each game of the regular season and uh
and and and see what see what we have this
is this will be Jansen's forte because uh, he is
much more knowledgeable about the entire NFL than I am.

Speaker 3 (16:55):
I'm a homer.

Speaker 2 (16:57):
I couldn't give a damn about anybody else, you know,
unless I'm gambling on you. But uh, there's some there's
some takes by the way, by the way right now
and for a long time still, your Philadelphia Eagles are
world champions, baby, that sounds nice. World champions and once

(17:19):
again belt two as just a complete and total beat down,

Speaker 4 (19:15):
Oh yeah, yeah, yes, they did wed for it looks
like four years, twenty six to twenty ten, and after
that she ended up marrying as well, Chad Kroger, which
lasted for all but two years.

Speaker 3 (19:29):
It's that hit two years now, that's that sounds like
a lot in the entertainment industry.

Speaker 4 (19:34):
Yeah, especially with a guy from Nickelback.

Speaker 2 (19:36):
You know, dude, I was good with Nickelback until rock
Star came out.

Speaker 4 (19:42):
I saw Rockstar. I loved it as a kid, but
it's brutal to listen to now. It's an awful song.

Speaker 3 (19:48):
Awful.

Speaker 2 (19:49):
You you like alternative music, right, You're kind of a
grunge guy.

Speaker 3 (19:53):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (19:53):
I like anything with a guitar, so yeah, anything from
folk music to grunge to hard rock to metal.

Speaker 3 (19:59):
I love all that stuff.

Speaker 2 (20:00):
I have really enjoyed some of Blink's new music. Really Blink, Okay,
well they they they they were never really a ballad band. No,
and they have two on their new album. They're coming
to the hard rock this summer. I I'm buying tickets.

Speaker 3 (20:20):
I think this.

Speaker 4 (20:20):
Week wait the hard hard rock stadium, hard Rock Hotel, Hotel.

Speaker 3 (20:26):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (20:26):
I was about to say, dang, are they doing stadium
doors now? Yeah, right now.

Speaker 2 (20:31):
It's not gonna fill a stadium door, but you know
they're still filling ten twelve yeah, oh yeah.

Speaker 4 (20:35):
I would they're what an arena band? I would say
they're an arena band?

Speaker 3 (20:38):
Yeah? Yeah, But you know what, don't don't make too
fine a point on that.

Speaker 2 (20:42):
My good friend Billy Siska, Billy Siska, love you baby
U last weekend forever in our hearts. He uh, he
worked for uh, Jesus Christ.

Speaker 4 (20:55):
He worked for Jesus Christ. They don't don't all. He
took the words right out of my mouth, damn Live Nation.
Uh and oh yeah, okay.

Speaker 2 (21:07):
He ran the Jackie Gleason Theater in South Beach in
Miami Beach. And you know that's a three thousand seat
arena and Pitbull couldn't even fill that dang.

Speaker 3 (21:23):
So you know that's well you talk about.

Speaker 2 (21:30):
You talk about I guess the level to which you
consider an elite entertainer are the ones.

Speaker 3 (21:42):
That can fill stadiums, football stadiums.

Speaker 2 (21:45):
Beyonce Taylor Swift, the Stones, Metallica, Metallica, you too, never
really fills anything more than arena guns and Roses for
a bit, I think, uh, I think they still do
stadium tours, but I know, guns and roses, that's a
hard place to get to, like to that echelon of.

Speaker 4 (22:07):
Oh yeah, like Kendrick Lamar is there now the weekend.
I think it's been stadium tours.

Speaker 2 (22:13):
Yeah, anyway, uh blink one two uh uh two of
their newest ballads.

Speaker 3 (22:23):
Uh are sorry I have them here. I'm just I'm
slow today. You guys just don't mind me.

Speaker 4 (22:32):
That brain is not firing on all cylinders right now.
I can only imagine the haziness, the fog happening in
that brain.

Speaker 3 (22:39):
Take me in and one more time.

Speaker 4 (22:41):
It is it is just drowning.

Speaker 3 (22:43):
Yeah, uh, take me in.

Speaker 2 (22:46):
Great song if you like. Okay, I'll have to let
this up if you like. You know, it's a ballad.
But man, when they when they rip into the chorus,
the drum nice just spectacular.

Speaker 4 (23:01):
And they do have a pretty famous good drummer.

Speaker 3 (23:04):
Yeah. Well, I mean it's just it's and it's and
it's different.

Speaker 2 (23:07):
It's three times three times in the chorus and you
can hear a different nuance in the drums each time. Uh,
you know, it's a morbid song. It's it's a it's
a slit your wrists song.

Speaker 4 (23:19):
You know, that's what pop punk's all about. Baby, Let's go.

Speaker 2 (23:22):
Take me in. Let's take me in, Take me now.
I hate this place right now.

Speaker 4 (23:27):
Is music for a reason, Quimby, No.

Speaker 3 (23:29):
I get it.

Speaker 2 (23:30):
But man, I've I've come to to just really appreciate
the music from what I consider my rock eerror, which
which is which is grunge, which is alternative, which you know,
and it but it's also you know, it's it's it's
a little still off, you know. I'm I'm a huge

(23:50):
fan of Shine Down. Yeah, okay, nice, I've seen Shine Down.

Speaker 3 (23:55):
And they're all risks slitters as well.

Speaker 2 (23:57):
You you guys keep messing with me with Whody and Blowfish.

Speaker 3 (24:00):
You know, I kinda kind of hate you guys for that.

Speaker 4 (24:03):
By the way, what are you a big hootie and
the Blowfish guy?

Speaker 1 (24:07):
No?

Speaker 4 (24:08):
Oh, yeah, okay, because I'm I don't know, I don't
I don't think Darius Rucker is all that good. I
think I mean he's kind of overrated. Nice, Nice, Darius
Ruckers just he's all right. His biggest hit he stole
off of old Crow Medicine show Wagon Wheel and it sucked.
There was a terrible version of.

Speaker 2 (24:26):
The amount of knowledge that you have about everything, completely
useless in this way, just staggering.

Speaker 3 (24:32):
Have you thought about getting on Jeopardy for Christ's sake?

Speaker 4 (24:34):
No, because it's not because I only have specific, useless information,
very specific stuff.

Speaker 2 (24:40):
But but wait, but wait, it could be like Rosie
Perez and white Men Can't Jump, and your final category
is foods that begin with.

Speaker 4 (24:47):
A letter cute something like that. Yeah, I would crush it.
I'd crush that. Hey, let's let's let's get back into
uh sports here, actual things, things that people want to
hear about, not my useless information. I got to be
terrible at party sometimes because I just throw that out
when I'm when I'm having a good time.

Speaker 2 (25:09):
When when somebody goes like this, ready look at me
and just turns their head a little bit, you've done
something wrong, done something right.

Speaker 3 (25:17):
Yeah, man.

Speaker 2 (25:19):
The best conversation's, best relationships, been, best friendships, best hookups
I've ever forged is when I've said something completely off
the wall that just makes somebody double take and.

Speaker 4 (25:31):
Go, why do you know that?

Speaker 3 (25:32):
What? What are you talking that? Guy? Just tell me
or talk to me about Jihad Campbell.

Speaker 4 (25:44):
Yeah, he's a He's a really interesting prospect and I
think interesting now that he's in Vic Fangio's system and
with the Eagles, because they it seems like they have
a vision for what he could be and I think
be able to utilize him in every single way possible because.

Speaker 3 (25:58):
He's what what is that? What is that vision?

Speaker 4 (26:01):
So he's a middle linebacker that or he's an outside linebacker,
he's a pass rusher that had to play middle linebacker
at Alabama because of injuries and like it was necessary
for him to be a middle linebacker. So he I
think he projects more as a pass rusher and that's
where the Eagles.

Speaker 3 (26:16):
Are going to use him.

Speaker 4 (26:17):
But he also has capability and he played a lot
and he did very well successful at Alabama being able
to play a middle linebacker. Who does that kind of
sound like though, outside linebacker that moved to the middle
that was like versatile and can do a lot of
things was Ac Bond, Like that's exactly what Zach Bond was. Now,
I'm not saying that's the kind of player. He is
because I think he's a better pass rusher than Bond.
But in vic Fangio's defense, we are learning that there

(26:40):
is a value and they are putting value into versatile linebackers.
They they would not have paid for Zach Bond if
it wasn't for Vic Fangio saying like, this is a valuable.

Speaker 3 (26:52):
In my defense. Second, nobody can hear you. Nobody can
hear me. Do I need toy?

Speaker 1 (26:57):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (26:58):
I can do that. Oh wait, hold on, I got
a new here. All right, lou Is that is that work? Now?
Let us know? Please go ahead, Chanson.

Speaker 4 (27:07):
Yeah, but I just think they value linebacker now, or
at least vic fangio scheme values linebacker, and so it is.
It's no mistake, no coincidence that they finally paid a
linebacker like Zach Bond and then in the first round
got one by the way.

Speaker 2 (27:23):
Really truly, I mean this, this is the evolution of
a team. Oh God, I'm gonna bring this up and
it's gonna sound but man, like, if you could have
just realized this a long time ago and we were clamoring,

(27:46):
I was, you know me, I'm linebacker running back. I
was screaming for it, and did it really take two
years or a year of an offensive defensive coordinator that
should neither one should have been in that in that role,
and somebody finally coming in and saying, hey, you guys

(28:08):
aren't gonna run this show anymore. This is what I want,
what I need in in conjunction and relationship to what
you think is best in the draft.

Speaker 3 (28:16):
And then here you go. Now I get it. Oh,
you big son of a bitch, I am gonna light
you up at the bid. I hate that guy.

Speaker 2 (28:26):
He craps everywhere around. But did it take a Vic
Fangio to just come in and say, look, you guys
don't know what you're doing.

Speaker 3 (28:39):
Knock it off. This is what we need. So I
I I'm just curious. I'm curious. He definitely let me.
Let me.

Speaker 2 (28:49):
I'm curious, how in one fruck fucking year can I
get away with no I got? I don't know, maybe
what in one freaking year you manage to figure out
how to bring in linebackers and a running back And
what happened?

Speaker 3 (29:09):
You're won great results?

Speaker 2 (29:10):
Yeah, and and now I mean, look, I love it.

Speaker 3 (29:18):
I get it.

Speaker 2 (29:18):
I just wish that it was something that they would
have figured out a while ago, because I think we
missed out on numerous opportunities to win a world championship.
This team should have five since the Patriots game in
two thousand and five.

Speaker 3 (29:32):
I'm sorry. That's how I feel, all right.

Speaker 2 (29:35):
And you ignored running back, you ignored linebacker, and now
you're figuring it out and I get it, and I'm
happy and I love you for it, Howie, And I
love you for it, Jeffrey.

Speaker 3 (29:44):
I just wish you wouldn't have taken this long. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (29:46):
And not only that, you know you figured out how
to not take a Marcus Smith from Louisville. Okay, Yeah,
you draft players from pedigree programs unless you have an exception,
like a quick.

Speaker 3 (30:04):
Exception.

Speaker 1 (30:05):
Yo.

Speaker 2 (30:05):
Hold on once again, Man, thank the Lucky Stars for
Quinnyon and Cooper.

Speaker 3 (30:11):
Amazing damn man.

Speaker 4 (30:12):
Like that that is a That is how you change
an entire franchise.

Speaker 3 (30:16):
And that's that's Alito and Sheldon. That's incredible.

Speaker 2 (30:20):
That's a Troy and Bobby. You know that that that's
what this is gonna be. Yeah, and and and it's
funny because you know they're they're trying to do everything
they possibly can to keep Coop in that Nickel uh
uh position, you know, defending the slot receiver. I but

(30:43):
you know, push comes to shove, and at some point
in time, I think it's gonna wind up just being
Quinnon on one end and Cooper on the other.

Speaker 4 (30:52):
So they could I I don't know. I just want
Cooper to stay as close to the line of scrimmage
and close to the balls and can like he's just
so good at that.

Speaker 3 (31:01):
He is. He is such a sniffer dude.

Speaker 4 (31:04):
But I think, oh, he's right. The Derrick Henry play
just continues in my brain all the time. He was
able to recognize that play and make a hit on
that kind of player and be that physical coole as heck.

Speaker 2 (31:15):
But other than the other than the Michael Brown God
Baltimore defensive tackle interception.

Speaker 3 (31:25):
Oh yeah, is it Michael Brown?

Speaker 2 (31:27):
I think I forget other than that play where big
guy drops back and coverage, yeah right, and intercepts the
ball and drops to a knee and his entire team
mauled him on the sideline and play was awesome. And
then the postgame press conference he says, why did you

(31:49):
drop the one knee? He didn't try to go for
a home run? He goes, hell, no, I was not
going to be a fat boy meme. Yeah, He's like,
I didn't want to embarrass myself.

Speaker 3 (32:00):
There was no way I was gonna be a meme
for the rest of my life.

Speaker 2 (32:04):
So uh yeah, aside that play cool and and and
and and this, seriously, seriously, this is my favorite play
above Saquon's backwards jump.

Speaker 3 (32:17):
It is Coop up ending up ending.

Speaker 2 (32:22):
Him with and and giving up fifty pounds and you
know what, the you know what the best part about
this season.

Speaker 3 (32:30):
Was bro.

Speaker 2 (32:32):
It was commentators, analysts, uh reporters uh with play after
play after play after play.

Speaker 3 (32:43):
This this whole season was a damn highlight reel.

Speaker 2 (32:48):
Yeah oh yeah, and and and especially.

Speaker 4 (32:51):
On defense, the defensive highlight reel is crazy.

Speaker 3 (32:54):
I got you know, let's I I grew up.

Speaker 2 (33:00):
Uh you know, I probably didn't become a football fan
until maybe I was eight or nine. Uh My dad
was constantly working, so I was around my mom and
two sisters all the time.

Speaker 3 (33:13):
That that wasn't.

Speaker 2 (33:14):
A conducive equation to watch football as often as possible.
But uh, my, my, my glory days. When I just
realized that there was no turning back for me, it
was Gangreen and Gang Green was at a time, you

(33:34):
know where you had a coach and Buddy Ryan, you know,
God rest his soul, love him to death. But guy
didn't know a damn thing about offense. You had one
of the most versatile and and and it accomplished and
talented quarterbacks on a planet. And you had running backs,

(33:55):
and you had receivers, you had everything. You had a god,
you had a tight end in Oh God, what was
I don't know if I know him. No, they were
talented and you couldn't score.

Speaker 3 (34:13):
So you just just grew.

Speaker 2 (34:16):
Up on defense. And I have to be honest with you,
as much as you know the glory plays are on offense,
I would much rather watch a nasty Keith Jackson, Thank you, Lou.

Speaker 3 (34:31):
Couldn't get that out.

Speaker 2 (34:32):
You had Keith Byers, you had Keith Jackson, you had
Fred Barnett, you had Calvin Williams. I think you had
talent Arkansas. Fred was a talent. He could beat you
deep every time. But I just you just became a
fan of the defense, and I would much rather watch
disgustingly angry and talented defense over an offense any day.

(34:59):
I refer February ninth, My God, great watching the offense.

Speaker 3 (35:06):
Great watching the precision.

Speaker 2 (35:09):
The surgeon esque approach that Jalen Hurts takes with this offense.
But when you got four angry sons of bitches on
the front line and you are getting in the face
every play of who is considered to be one of

(35:29):
the most talented quarterbacks of all.

Speaker 3 (35:31):
Time, Yo, it's awesome. I'm in. It's such a sign
me up for that. Watch all day long.

Speaker 2 (35:39):
I'll take a nap during the offensive sequences, wake me
up every time the defense is on the field.

Speaker 3 (35:47):
Here's the deal.

Speaker 2 (35:48):

Speaker 3 (36:23):
Hey, summer is coming up. You guys are gonna have
to listen to us on the way down to the beach.
Just letting you know.

Speaker 2 (36:28):
We're on one O two point five FM, Philly Quimby
and Fort Lauderdale. Jansen back into Ballast Studios. Going to
be down here maybe next week with me for a show.

Speaker 4 (36:40):
I don't know about next week, but we'll love that.

Speaker 3 (36:42):
Look up, love that look up.

Speaker 4 (36:43):
We'll get there. I'm making a commitment now. I will
get there at some point this summer. It's not this summer, dude.
We sold the house. I only have until the end
of June and I'm out. What de You're just homeless now, yeah,
kind of.

Speaker 2 (36:59):
No, I'm not homeless because I can always go to
cheerleaders Gentlemen.

Speaker 3 (37:03):
Who is our sponsor? Everybody, Cheerleaders Gentlemen's Club. You guys,
we'll be back right after this. You get wager on it.
We're talking about it.

Speaker 6 (37:12):
It's the Gambler, strangers from strangers into brothers, from brothers
into strangers.

Speaker 3 (37:32):
Once again, we saw the whole world. You didn't know
I could belt it out, did you chance, but I
belt it out. I couldn't even.

Speaker 2 (37:45):
Everybody Green Legion Radio enjoying a little blink Onanity two ballad. Uh.
We're on Saturdays from one to three with Jansen and
studio back in Balla.

Speaker 3 (37:57):
I'm down in Fort Lauderdale. My name is Quimby.

Speaker 2 (37:59):
We're brought to you by Twers Gentlemen's Club. It's one
o two point five at them Philadelphia fourteen eighty AM
and on the iHeartRadio app. Anywhere around the world. We are, Man,
We're all over the dish with what we're talking about.
I think I wanted I totally interrupted Jansen after I
asked him a question, and that's usually what happens.

Speaker 3 (38:21):
YEP.

Speaker 2 (38:22):
I go to him for knowledge and fill in a
lot of space. And I realize every single week that
I'm a complete and total blowhard and an egotistical maniact
that can't shut the hell up. So we were talking
about the evolution of the team when it comes to
position value running back and linebacker.

Speaker 3 (38:45):
We're not a position of value for a while, you.

Speaker 2 (38:49):
Know, I say that, even though we've we seem to
always have some talent at running back. You had four
nice years with Miles Sanders all right, formally.

Speaker 3 (39:00):
But they were, you know, they were nicely well.

Speaker 4 (39:03):
His last year was good. His last year was really well.
Of course, it was a contract.

Speaker 3 (39:06):
Here, but let's let's let's let's talk about that for
a second. Ready. I have to say it.

Speaker 2 (39:12):
I have to every freaking time. I was wrong about
the Saquon Barkley deal. When that signing was made, Janson
and I.

Speaker 3 (39:22):
Were were we're we're on.

Speaker 2 (39:24):
I think the next day, and I said I didn't
like the deal. I said, I didn't like that deal
a running back with a history of injuries in his
seventh year or a sixth year, whatever it was.

Speaker 3 (39:39):
I just it.

Speaker 2 (39:40):
It didn't It didn't compute with me, and I was wrong.
So we can sit here now and and be the
armchair quarterbacks that we are. Fact of the matter is,
let's be honest, not a single one of us knew
that bark was going to be this good.

Speaker 4 (40:04):
I kind of did, did you. I loved the signing.
I love the talent. So one thing I couldn't guess
is how how long he would be able to play, Like,
how if he would be able to last a full season,
if he would need a couple of games, So I
thought he was going to play the majority of the season.
I couldn't imagine that he would be as healthy as
he was and as fresh as he was all throughout

(40:24):
the regular season into the playoffs. I know, that's one
thing that was hard to guess to me.

Speaker 2 (40:30):
Start a different workout regime and yeah, and diet at something.
There was something he did differently this year, and he
had talked about it. I just don't remember what the
the crups of the the plan was, but there was

(40:51):
something that was supposed to keep.

Speaker 3 (40:56):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (40:58):
Yeah, I was doing something this year to keep him
him himself on the field the whole season.

Speaker 4 (41:02):
Whenever he did work phenomenally well. I mean again not
that not only that he was playing every game, but
that he was fresh, that he he could he could
still maintain that that level of production all throughout the postseason,
and like was really one of their best players, probably
the best player in the post he was.

Speaker 2 (41:20):
Sorry, will never ever forget how up and down on
the field he was at the Super Bowl and just
zero zero, baby, zero zero. Don't get complacent. Let's go,
let's go stay focused, stay focused. Everybody screaming, hollering, he
didn't even realize. And you know what, this is an
interesting element too, And we're gonna get to John Campbell

(41:42):
soon enough. Even though I asked that question fifteen minutes ago,
I've always found an NFL locker room to be such
an interesting dynamic. Meaning for a while there we all

(42:05):
were wondering who the hell was a leader in the
locker room During the Carson wentz eir we found out
that the guy was a mouse in the locker room.
He didn't want to say anything. You know, Okay, lead
by example, Well you're not good enough to lead by example.
You had one good year and your knees got toasted
and you were you were dog crap ever since.

Speaker 3 (42:28):
But god, damn man.

Speaker 2 (42:33):
One al Sean Jeffrey catch away from going to another
Super Bowl, No, another NBC Championship game. Yes, sorry, I
just and I felt like we would have won that
Who who would we have played?

Speaker 3 (42:50):
I can't remember.

Speaker 2 (42:51):
I can't either, but I know we would have beaten him.

Speaker 3 (42:56):
I know, I know, I know for a fact.

Speaker 4 (42:58):
Wait, because that's the year that New Orleans had that
somebody the past interference that wasn't called who is that against?

Speaker 3 (43:05):
I'm forgetting I'll the look this up.

Speaker 2 (43:09):
Anyway, a saquon who everybody knows his talent. You know,
me saying I didn't like the signing didn't mean I
was suggesting he isn't a talent.

Speaker 3 (43:25):
He certainly is. He is elite talent.

Speaker 2 (43:29):
I was just concerned about the amount of money and
his history of injury. But this guy comes in after
playing for your rival ty, and once again, you and
I can have this conversation all day long. I do
not mind the Cowboys as much as I hate the Giants.

(43:54):
Everybody in Dallas for twenty two years has been sweethearts
to us.

Speaker 3 (43:58):
I have found the city to become endearing.

Speaker 2 (44:01):
I found I have found a lot of their fan
base to be endearing, except for you know, eighty percent
of the upper level season ticket holders who can't have
a background check because they'd lose their tickets if that
was the case.

Speaker 3 (44:13):
But everybody from New York pisses me off. I wouldn't.
I wouldn't. I wouldn't.

Speaker 2 (44:20):
I wouldn't pee on them if they were on fire.
Oh god, I'm sorry, I'm just keeping it real, all right,
Just dog crap. I hate every single thing that comes
out of that cesspool.

Speaker 3 (44:32):
And by the way.

Speaker 5 (44:33):
It was by the way way.

Speaker 2 (44:37):
To have financial backing from two states and two team
owners together to build that absolute dog crap of a stadium.
Met life is complete and utter.

Speaker 3 (45:01):
Crap.

Speaker 2 (45:03):
It's it's it's embarrassing, it's in fact, you're you're outside
your your your your your flaps your your window flaps
on every Just oh, I'm not going to sleep tonight
if Saquon signs with Philadelphia, and he kind of slept
for a long time because you don't know what the

(45:25):
freak you're doing. But how does Saquon come in and
immediately become that vocal leader? I guess that's the question.
And after that, talk to me about Jahad Campbell. I'm
gonna shut up for a minute.

Speaker 3 (45:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (45:38):
So I think just because he was a leader, I mean,
he's been a leader, I would say back from Penn
State to New York because Daniel Jones certainly wasn't one,
but yeah, it was. It was a guy that was
very hungry to win because he hadn't. And I think
that certainly drove him to be more upfront vocal as
a leader, to be more motivational and stay locked in.

(45:58):
But I think with him and with joh hot Campbell,
you are alluding to this a lot during the conversation
about linebackers and running backs. And I do think Howard
Roseman does a great job at he does value valuable positions, right.

Speaker 3 (46:13):
He is going to.

Speaker 4 (46:13):
Put more money, more value into pass rusher and too,
things that impact the game, more quarterbacks, He's going to
do offensive lineman. He goes for a value. But sometimes
what I think that does is that leads him to
then look away from valuable players. Just because their position
is invaluable doesn't mean the player isn't. And finally, I

(46:34):
think Saquon was the oh yeah, we can get a valuable,
like game changing player here, and Taquon changed, by the way,
everything for that Eagles offense for as good as aj
Brown is and Devonte Smith and the offensive line and
Jalen Hurts, all that stuff's great. It unlocked a completely
different level for the Eagles to have a running back
league Sauon Barkley, and so putting putting importance and value
into the player I think is more important than that

(46:56):
because then because then you're not looking, you're not you're
not looking in the right direction. You can still go, Okay, yeah,
I'm gonna pass on some running backs and I don't
think are amazing, But once somebody likes a Saquon comes around, yeah,
then you you put you put importance into that, you
put money into that. So I commend, how are you
for doing that?

Speaker 2 (47:15):
And that's a great segue into all right, uh losing
focus of players that can impact a position. But then
then you have like three years in a row, now right.

(47:36):
I loved listening to Rich Eisen when we selected Jahad
Campbell and you just hear him in the background.

Speaker 3 (47:44):
He goes, are you kidding?

Speaker 4 (47:46):
There was a lot of even Mena Kimes that she's like,
of course, because he talked about him before, some team
is gonna get like a really versatile, interesting player, and
so like he is, there's John Campbell's a really interesting one.
And then he went to the Eagles, Sam she want?
Of course, of course that happened.

Speaker 2 (48:03):
Number number twelve on mel Kiper's board overall. Uh so,
tell me what you know about this guy?

Speaker 3 (48:09):
I mean you did, I mean.

Speaker 2 (48:11):
Going to he's gonna I think primarily is he gonna
step in year one?

Speaker 3 (48:16):
Yeah? Oh you think I think a lot of what.

Speaker 2 (48:20):
I think a lot of what Quinnyon Mitchell and Cooper
dejen have done is to suggest that you can throw
a rookie into an important position and they're gonna and
they're gonna thrive. God damn man.

Speaker 3 (48:37):
Still like.

Speaker 2 (48:39):
Looking back on this season and like, what didn't fall
into place? Ready, Bryce Hoff? And nobody gives a crap,
all right, because Nolan Smith from week seven on picked
it up every single week and everybody's given him crap,

(49:02):
including me.

Speaker 3 (49:03):
You know, is he a bus? Does he a bus?
Is he a bus? No, he's getting used to it,
getting used to the defense. It's a new defense. It's
gonna be.

Speaker 2 (49:10):
Eight weeks until they get to it. We're gonna get
back to Bryce up. But did man, everything that could
have gone right.

Speaker 3 (49:23):
Went right?

Speaker 2 (49:24):
And let's be completely honest. That never happens in Philadelphia sports.

Speaker 4 (49:32):
Not to that degree. No, not to that degree.

Speaker 3 (49:36):
Uh, Mike. Uh.

Speaker 2 (49:39):
One of my closest friends, Mark Saint George, Uh talk,
he was down last weekend. Love you, brother, We got
you back. I know you've had some losses here over
the last month, and uh, we all love you. Came down,
you know, trying to give him some distraction and and
and we watched the super Bowl on Sunday morning, and

(50:03):
by morning, I mean that was probably like eleven forty
eight when we both woke up. But we talked about
this upcoming season, and he goes, don't care.

Speaker 3 (50:18):
That just don't care, And I actually, I don't want
to say it, but I kind of do. I don't.

Speaker 2 (50:27):
I don't care either. I just I am so filled
with Philadelphia Eagles joy right now that you know, if
things go haywire this year, I'm okay. I'm okay for
a couple of years. You know, you you you put

(50:50):
your stamp on one of the best seasons in NFL history.

Speaker 3 (50:55):
NFL history. We talked about this.

Speaker 2 (50:57):
Only four teams have ever won eighteen games eighty four
nine Ers, eighty five Bears of seven Patriots, and then
you have the Dolphins who couldn't close the deal but
won twenty games in seventy one.

Speaker 3 (51:10):
It's I.

Speaker 4 (51:13):
So can I say I think it does. I like,
I care a lot about this upcoming season, and we
can talk about it on the other side. I'll tease it.
I'll tease it there. Yeah, I think it does.

Speaker 2 (51:22):
Hold on because I have valuable information here before we go.

They took to to orchestra. Oh oh it's cool. It's
on YouTube, man, look at it. Orchestra behind it, take
Me In? But yeah, yeah, And and that that first chorus,
uh with the drums, that was him being light like

(54:45):
each chorus progressive.

Speaker 3 (54:47):
The drums just get more intense. And I I saw
your look.

Speaker 2 (54:53):
I saw your look when he first did that, uh
that segue down his entire set, and you're like.

Speaker 4 (54:59):
A, yeah, there it is. Oh yeah, he's great.

Speaker 3 (55:02):
He's so good.

Speaker 2 (55:04):
Greenley too Radio, Fox Sports, The Gambler. That was Take
Me In by Blink one two, a ballad that I'm
quite happy that Blink has decided to change their at
least dabble a little in some other types of music.

Speaker 3 (55:18):
So we're fans here.

Speaker 2 (55:19):
Brought to you our cheerleaders, Gentlemen's Club. I'm quimbian Fort
Laureo Jansen back in studio in ballad Kinwood. Next Saturday,
what is next Saturday? We're doing a show. It's gonna
be a fun show. It's gonna be a release show.
And I'm going to release some information right now. And

(55:40):
this is kind of cool and kind of important. And
by the way, we're doing a hell of a job
getting to the U. The upcoming schedule, Chansen, I don't
know what we'll talk about, all right, I got a
topic and an hour and a half later. So on

(56:02):
our road schedule this year, we have obviously Dallas, New York, Washington,
Buffalo should be a fun trip. We had about four
or five hundred people on that trip. God twenty nineteen.
This is one of those give us Miami for Christ's sake?
Why did you give us Buffalo? Richard's one of those

(56:30):
add on games because of the seventeen game season. Green Bay,
Green Bay is always green Bay, and I think it's
going to be a pretty popular game. We have that
town wired, we have the Hyatt Regency downtown green Bay
and also the Radisson Casino as our hotel vendors. We

(56:56):
have our tailgate at the Resh Center.

Speaker 3 (56:59):
Look it up. The best tailgate you'll find.

Speaker 2 (57:02):
Uh, it's yeah, it's We have Green Bay on lockdown
tickets through our good friends at at Oh my god,
not Packer Tours, our friend Bill Wenzel.

Speaker 3 (57:18):
That's all you need to know.

Speaker 2 (57:21):
Kansas City. Yeah, that'll be a fun trip. We'll see
how many people go. Vikings, you know, I get it.
But if it's any time past November, it's freezing. Tampa
always a good trip. But we've been in Tampa what

(57:42):
four times now in the last three years.

Speaker 4 (57:44):
Yeah, it's been a lot of Tampa recently.

Speaker 3 (57:46):
It's okay.

Speaker 2 (57:47):
We're still gonna have our tailgate at the at Steinberner Field.
The one game that I haven't talked about or mentioned yet,
and this is Los Angeles Chargers. All right, time for
the cat to come out of the bag. We've been

(58:09):
planning this for four months. We have been in LA
the last two years.

Speaker 3 (58:23):
LA is not it's not always a great trip.

Speaker 2 (58:28):
We had an amazing trip, like the first time we
were there, you know, with the Carson Wentz injury and
the Nick Foles coming in and saving the day. We
had seventeen hundred people on that trip. No, fifteen sixty five, sorry,
I remember that now. That was our final number at
the tailgate. But since then, you know, it's people chalking

(58:54):
it off. There to do, list, there, to visit, stadium
list and I don't know, chancing. Have you ever been
to l A.

Speaker 3 (59:07):
I have not.

Speaker 4 (59:08):
No, I don't think I've been. The farthest west I've
been is just Vegas.

Speaker 3 (59:11):
I think Vegas, LA. You know, there's there's cool parts
of La.

Speaker 2 (59:18):
Santa Monica used to be one of them. It's still
kind of is. But they parked every homeless person in
southern California in Santa Monica.

Speaker 3 (59:29):
So you know, I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (59:32):
I'm not not wrecking people for their their lot in
life or or luck that they have or hadn't have,
but it's just just.

Speaker 3 (59:39):
Kind of dirty these days.

Speaker 2 (59:41):
And the pier, you know, once you go on the
roller coaster, once it's like all right, thanks, and you
know then you have great places to go, like Bubba
Gump Shrimp Factory. Like who who the hell wants to
go to bubble Gump? You know that's the only that
sounds fun. Well, no, it's the only it's the only

(01:00:03):
organizations like that are the only ones that can afford
the rent on the pier. So you know, it's just
it's just commercialized. It's it's terrible. And then then you
have Marina del Rey and Venice, and I like Marina
Delray and I like Venice Beach. Our our friends at
the wharf in Venice have been supporters of ours forever.

(01:00:27):
Hanano's Cabo Cantina, Baja Cantina Killer Shrimp. These these guys
make our trip very easy for our clients to enjoy.
But we've been there so many times now and too
many times in a row, so formally announcing right now

(01:00:51):
the Green Legion trip for the Los Angeles Chargers game,
provided it's a Sunday, you know, if it's a Monday game,
we'll figure it out as well. But that game will
see us flying to San Diego for three nights first

(01:01:14):
and pissing off all the Chargers fans that still exist there.
It's been two thousand and nine since we've been to
the Charge to San Diego, after we played them in
two thousand and nine. By the time we played them again,
they were up at stub Hub Stadium in La San
Diego is the place to be. San Diego was and

(01:01:35):
still is the best trip we have ever run, not
just because it was the largest two two d.

Speaker 3 (01:01:42):
And eight people, but because it's San Diego.

Speaker 2 (01:01:47):
And for anybody that was on that two thousand and
nine trip, we are going right back to the scene
of the crime, all right, right back to the scene
of the crime. The Bahea and the Catamaran and the
Hyatt are our hotels in Mission Beach and Pacific Beach.

(01:02:07):
The Bahea is walking distance to the roller coaster on
Mission Beach, just to give you some geographic standpoint. All right,
it we're gonna go to San Diego. We're gonna enjoy
Miller's peebe.

Speaker 3 (01:02:25):
Bar and grill.

Speaker 2 (01:02:26):
I don't know what plumb crazy is now called, but
we're gonna go to the Eagles Bar that We're gonna
spend a night in the gas Lamp district. This is
this is the this is what we've wanted to do
since two thousand and nine. And I'm not going back
to La again to have one hundred people travel with
us when we can go to San Diego and have

(01:02:48):
a thousand, and that's that's what we're planning. And then
morning of the game. Waking up early, I know, get
on buses coming up. Our tailgate will once again be
at the Cork and Batter, which you all know and
of love for the last two years. If you didn't

(01:03:09):
realize it, there's a hotel right next to the Cork
and Batter, and you will get off the bus pre keyed,
go to your room, dump your crap, come back down,
go to the tailgate, go to the game, stay at
that hotel that night, and then leave the next morning
out of Lax.

Speaker 3 (01:03:30):
Back to Philadelphia. It is.

Speaker 2 (01:03:34):
One of the most creative and best trips that Stephanie
and I have developed.

Speaker 3 (01:03:41):
Period.

Speaker 2 (01:03:45):
For those that know the difference between La and San Diego,
it's just it's monumental.

Speaker 4 (01:03:53):
It's yeah, I've heard San Diego is great. I heard
like Chargers fans San Diego Chargers fans back in the day.
It used to be awesome. It's like great fans. I
just love ball.

Speaker 2 (01:04:02):
And they're still there, right, you know they they You
know who else are you gonna root for?

Speaker 3 (01:04:07):
The Tijuana Tigers. I don't know. It should still be
in San Diego. It should be, but I'm tired. I'm
tired of is a moron we all know that part
of the part of.

Speaker 2 (01:04:17):
The consortium that includes Bob Ford, Woody Johnson, Stephen Ross,
and that idiot in Atlanta.

Speaker 3 (01:04:26):
Arthur Blank, Arthur Planks once again.

Speaker 2 (01:04:30):
Once again, isn't it great just to have enough money
to not give a single crap about anybody or anything?
But uh, we we are excited about that plan. Uh,
San Diego for three nights. Get on a bus two

(01:04:51):
and a half. It shouldn't even be two and a
half at six in the morning, it should be two hours.
You sleep on the bus, get off of the hotel,
dump your crap.

Speaker 3 (01:05:03):
You know, you can do what you want. You can
take a nap if you want, if you're still tired.

Speaker 2 (01:05:06):
But you're you're literally the hotel connects to the cork
and batter so ready to go as soon as you are,
and that that's that's the cat out of the bag.

Speaker 3 (01:05:20):
And kind of excited about it. So yeah, that sounds exciting.

Speaker 4 (01:05:24):
Yeah, man, come on, a good way to do that.

Speaker 3 (01:05:26):
Let's go to San Diego. Let's go f with those guys.
You know we we haven't had a chance to do that.

Speaker 2 (01:05:32):
Plus plus we have Wow, what an amazing following of
people from San Diego, our good friends, Ron Turner, Chocolate.

Speaker 3 (01:05:46):
It's okay.

Speaker 2 (01:05:47):
He's a black guy. He likes the nickname Chocolate. Don't
worry about it, everybody. Joe, Omar, Nicki, Emily two of
my favorite people in the world. This is uh, there's
there's such a large presence of Eagles fans in San Diego,

(01:06:08):
and we, uh, we're gonna, we're gonna enjoy teaming.

Speaker 3 (01:06:13):
Up with them.

Speaker 2 (01:06:13):
But anyway, now that I've ruined the first segment on
top of the.

Speaker 3 (01:06:20):
Hour, let's uh, you've runed them, by the way. Thank you,
You're welcome.

Speaker 2 (01:06:25):

Port Lauderdale Chance and back in the studio.

Speaker 7 (01:08:22):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (01:08:22):
It is excellent technology these days. How we can uh,
you know, have our Saturdays one to three and we're
a thousand miles away and.

Speaker 4 (01:08:34):
It connects us together. Quimby, it's a beautiful thing.

Speaker 3 (01:08:37):
Again, here's your looking. Here's you looking for a sugar daddy.
So trying hard. I know it's okay. You're adorable.

Speaker 2 (01:08:46):
Uh so, uh we're coming back there. I interrupted everything.
I'm gonna shut up right now. You are gonna talk
about out something coming in at the top of the hour.

Speaker 3 (01:09:04):
You teased it. Oh that's right. What was that again?

Speaker 4 (01:09:08):
Why why, Like I get I guess that you you
seem like you're at a point of complacency that like,
the Eagles won the Super Bowl.

Speaker 2 (01:09:16):
Why why you find it to be so much this
season to be critically important?

Speaker 4 (01:09:21):
Yes, so the Eagles have won a super Bowl before,
Like this isn't a new experience. This is something that
has happened. Like, I think the Eagles are now past
the point of wow, it's just exciting to win a
Super Bowl. I think now we're starting to talk about
with the Eagles have having two super Bowls, like they
have a chance with this group and this team together

(01:09:42):
to maybe win a couple more, or like one or
two more. Then now the Eagles start to get into
the conversations of the San Francisco forty nine Ers, the
Dallas Cowboys, all of those franchises, the Eagles have like
this opportunity to now put them in the upper echelon
of franchise and that's a crazy thing to think about.

Speaker 3 (01:10:00):
And to shut all of them the f yes.

Speaker 4 (01:10:03):
Yes, yes, yes, they're finally Like Pitchburg fans, shut up,
We're on on your level now, Dallas fans, I know
they haven't won in forever, but they have the however,
many super Bowls. What if the Eagles got close to
that number? Hey, we got four? Now shut up, we're
we are now. Like for the Eagles to be included
in the conversations of most winning and most successful franchises,

(01:10:25):
to me is very important. Now they got one out
of the way, they got two out of the ways.
I care now about making this franchise just as good
and in that echelon of like greatest franchises in the NFL.

Speaker 2 (01:10:36):
I need that, You know what, man, I My comment
earlier was fairly short sighted.

Speaker 3 (01:10:45):
You are one, And.

Speaker 4 (01:10:46):
I understand if that was the first rule, Like I
get it, like we just what we got the one,
and that's exciting.

Speaker 2 (01:10:51):
But now after the second one, let's consider this by
the way, all right, I think we're I think we're
already in that conversation because fact of the matter is,
we've been to the Super Bowl well three times in
seven years, and the one we lost it still has
still has an asterisk.

Speaker 3 (01:11:11):
Next to it.

Speaker 4 (01:11:12):
So I mean, yeah, I mean so close to a
to a third one, right there, Absolutely.

Speaker 2 (01:11:17):
Exactly, dude, You're right, Oh god, I don't want to
be that invested in it again.

Speaker 4 (01:11:22):
I'm so invested. I think they have like an incredible
opportunity to now put themselves in any and every conversation
about greatest franchises they could be.

Speaker 2 (01:11:31):
Look to pat you know what it is. What's that
it's one more win? Yeah, it's not necessarily two, you know,
to get to that. But the Giants have.

Speaker 3 (01:11:40):
Four, I think so yeah. I think Cowboys have five.
We know that.

Speaker 4 (01:11:44):
Pittsburgh has five. Uh oh, and the Patriots have what six?
Patriots have six? Pittsburgh has six, Dallas, San Francisco have five,
Green Bay, New York, Kansas City have four.

Speaker 3 (01:11:54):
Dang.

Speaker 4 (01:11:54):
Patrick Mahomes has done a lot of work for getting
Oh yeah, right, good lord. We think of the Broncos
is like a winning franchise. They they have three three
the Eagles like could get into that conversation, right you
know that's man, that is so that is I think
very important now at least the opportunity to have with
this time.

Speaker 2 (01:12:15):
How do you feel, what what's your prediction for Saquon
season this year?

Speaker 3 (01:12:21):
Man, that's a it's just like that's a tough one.
Ready ready, and this is this is the only thing
that sucks.

Speaker 2 (01:12:29):
You had the best year or season or running back
ever had. You know, you can you can argue everybody
that was ahead of him above two thousand and six
yards for the regular season, but he had twenty five
hundred plus yards for the entire season, which was far

(01:12:52):
beyond anything Dickerson did.

Speaker 3 (01:12:55):
Because the rest of the la or rams you.

Speaker 2 (01:12:58):
Know, blue chunks, but h and that that doesn't that
doesn't get recorded unfortunately. But what gets recorded now is
Saquon's cleats in the Hall of Fame because he just
he just did that.

Speaker 4 (01:13:17):
Yeah, he just did that, and like one or two
more seasons of that, because he's already been successful before
he was successful.

Speaker 3 (01:13:23):
He he is like he's he is first ballot Hall
of Fame after.

Speaker 2 (01:13:27):
This season right now? Oh wow, I believe that dude,
do not think.

Speaker 4 (01:13:33):
I would need at least one more like incredible season?

Speaker 2 (01:13:36):
Okay, well here we go, and I think it can
happen now he had that season.

Speaker 3 (01:13:41):
Dude, I love. Look at me. I have goosebumps. I'm
so I love. I love when I'm hungover.

Speaker 2 (01:13:49):
Just the phone in front of me while I'm lying
on the couch and I will watch the YouTube highlight
of all eighteen of sake rushing touchdowns from the shortest
distance to the longest.

Speaker 3 (01:14:06):
It's fourteen minutes of pure heavens.

Speaker 4 (01:14:10):
Yes, and a lot of those aren't like a lot
of those aren't cheap ones. A lot of those are
big time home run hitting ones. So that is a
highlight reel. That is I think I'll be watching for
a while. I mean those were earned runs. I mean
those are seventy something yard explosive, big time play, game
changing runs that he gave them.

Speaker 3 (01:14:33):
The one that I remember the most. I don't know
if you'll remember this, but it was against the Rams
in LA and it it was.

Speaker 2 (01:14:52):
I think a lot of people's favorite run for a touchdown.
And what you don't see or if you're not looking
for it, if you're if you're you know, if you're
just novice, you don't see Britain Covey laying out a
linebacker to spring him. You know, that might be the

(01:15:13):
reason he broke his neck. But you know, he just
literally laid out. Maybe he wasn't a linebacker, but it
was definitely a safety. It was a bigger Uh.

Speaker 4 (01:15:23):
Well, a lot of a lot of players are bigger
than Britain Coveytfield Britain.

Speaker 3 (01:15:28):
Uh, he's he shout with us? No, I think he's
I think he's with the Rams. Now wait where. I
think he's in Los Angeles. I think he's with the Rams.

Speaker 6 (01:15:35):
No.

Speaker 3 (01:15:35):
I liked him, man, let me see, let me say
I know he went, Yeah, he's with the Rams. That sucks.

Speaker 2 (01:15:42):
He was Actually this is great. I don't know if
you remember this, you won't, but he was our I
think he was our first.

Speaker 3 (01:15:51):
He was. He was our.

Speaker 2 (01:15:53):
First guest at Live Casino a couple of years ago
for the Green Legion Players Show of the Season.

Speaker 3 (01:16:00):
Uh, he's Mormon. He came in with his wife. Uh.

Speaker 2 (01:16:04):
And you know we we we treated every player like
a god.

Speaker 3 (01:16:09):
Who was the McPherson? Uh? Was it zech Zach McPherson.

Speaker 2 (01:16:16):
I'll get to that, but uh, Zech, actually no, I'll
say that first, and I'll get the Britain covey because
that's the highlight of this story.

Speaker 3 (01:16:24):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (01:16:25):
Zach McPherson came on with I think his girlfriend at
the time, and you know, we did the same thing.

Speaker 3 (01:16:30):
You know, hey, man, what can we do?

Speaker 2 (01:16:32):
Actually kind of tailored to his asked him first, but
then tailored to his girlfriend.

Speaker 7 (01:16:38):
Right.

Speaker 3 (01:16:38):
You know, if she's.

Speaker 4 (01:16:40):
Happy, absolutely, if she's comfortable and happy, he's gonna be
comfortable and happy.

Speaker 2 (01:16:44):
Yeah, and and and Zech went back and told the
entire team, Yo, man, go go on the show.

Speaker 3 (01:16:50):
Nice.

Speaker 2 (01:16:51):
Yeah, dude, I Zech McPherson still appreciates you for that.

Speaker 3 (01:16:55):
Man we had then we had Milton Williams. Uh Yeah.
It was read blank and Ship. I swear to god, man, if.

Speaker 2 (01:17:05):
You want excellent, excellent listening that Read Blank and Ship interview.

Speaker 3 (01:17:12):
God.

Speaker 2 (01:17:13):
He so down to earth, so southern hospitality, so dry,
so witty, so funny because his road to the NFL, you.

Speaker 3 (01:17:26):
Know, it was a was a that was a that
was tough.

Speaker 2 (01:17:30):
Uh covid uh liund up five years you know, projected.

Speaker 3 (01:17:37):
The year before to go in the third round.

Speaker 2 (01:17:40):
Uh and thinks that he's gonna, uh further facilitate his
career by coming back and playing a fifth year and
then gets undrafted. This is gonna be an interesting story
when we get to it, by the way, because.

Speaker 3 (01:17:55):
He's gonna get paid. He he he.

Speaker 4 (01:17:58):
He's been excellent. He's been really really good.

Speaker 2 (01:18:02):
You know, you can't you can't ask for more from
a player in that position, especially considering the fact that
his he's making the NFL minimum right now.

Speaker 3 (01:18:18):
But you know that's going to expire.

Speaker 2 (01:18:19):
But anyway, Britain Covey, all right, Mormon, you know, you know,
just he drops an sh number one.

Speaker 4 (01:18:30):
Yeah, that's rights, Like, what the hell he's got. He's
got such an outgoing personality. He is fantastic. So one
of my the funniest stories was him not being able
to get into the parking lot. Oh right, yeah, that's
still the funniest thing. He's everybody looks at me, You're
just a regular dude. What do you mean, You're not

(01:18:50):
an Eagles player. You're five eight one seventy three. No way,
And of course he's.

Speaker 2 (01:18:56):
Like there's a backstory with him too. I don't remember
what it is. I have it on a hard drive
from that interview like, uh, he was a ute and
his dad was, uh, what's the.

Speaker 4 (01:19:11):
Yes something It was either his dad or his grandfather
wrote like a book that is very well known, some
kind of like motivational book.

Speaker 3 (01:19:18):
And once everybody rose like oh wow, yes, yeah, that's
the same man.

Speaker 2 (01:19:22):
I I. I mean, there's an interesting question. So you
got Coop returning punts?

Speaker 3 (01:19:31):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (01:19:32):
Do you really want Coop returning punts considering yeah, I
have written considering Britain. Cubby's first year all right nine
average nine yards per return, second year average sixteen yards
per return. I you know, and I get that you

(01:19:55):
got a lot of receivers on this on this depth chart,
but he can all also catch you know. Yeah, you're right,
he's not going to be out on the field very often.
But also I'm sorry.

Speaker 3 (01:20:08):
He's he's.

Speaker 2 (01:20:11):
He's a casualty we could afford, you know, coupe winds up,
you know, getting popped.

Speaker 4 (01:20:19):
So yeah, look, I just think he's he's very good
at it. Obviously, Is there is the risk worth any
kind of game there?

Speaker 7 (01:20:27):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (01:20:27):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:20:28):
I've always had a tough time figuring.

Speaker 3 (01:20:30):
Out these questions. No, no, no, no, no, no, I'm gonna ask
this question. Yeah, all right, what happens if Coop goes out?

Speaker 4 (01:20:37):
Yeah right, you lose, You lose such a pivotal like
game changing part.

Speaker 3 (01:20:43):
You can't cover that. Yeah, you can't replace that.

Speaker 4 (01:20:47):
I just all right, sorry, But it's always it's always
good having a dynamic player be able to have a
chance to do dynamic things. And that's that's what kick
returning gives him an opportunity to do, or punt returning does.
But again, is the risk obviously going to be worth
the reward there and that I don't know. I mean,
they do have other guys who are capable. I know
they have Will Shipley kick return. Will Shipley's a phenomenal athlete,

(01:21:08):
and I think giving him an opportunity, especially with fresh legs,
to be able to have a chance to go in
the field because he's a fast player, he's a really
good athlete, I would love that opportunity. But Coop is
great at it. He was awesome at Iowa, Like he
Iowa needed offense and points in any way. Cooper Dejene
was that for him. He was an excellent kick returner,
a punt returner. I think mostly for him, he was
an excellent punt returner and they needed that. But I

(01:21:31):
don't know if the Eagles need that. No, I don't
need I don't know if they need to put Cooper
Degene back there there'll be a dynamic punt returner because
they do probably have some other guys that could do
it and that aren't as valuable as well.

Speaker 3 (01:21:44):
He also had Isaiah Rodgers, but he could do it.

Speaker 4 (01:21:47):
Yeah, I only put will ship because he he does kick.
I think he even kick return last year, so he
would be.

Speaker 3 (01:22:00):
What was I looking for? All right?

Speaker 2 (01:22:01):
You were you were talking about? Uh?

Speaker 3 (01:22:06):
I talk about a lot of running backs.

Speaker 2 (01:22:10):
Wow, there it is. He finally jumped them. I wanted
to see if that was going to happen.

Speaker 3 (01:22:16):
Uh A. J.

Speaker 2 (01:22:17):
Dillon just jumped Will Shipley as the number two running back. Uh.
I hate I'm kind of interested in seeing what happened.
He's there terrible, really, he's so bad.

Speaker 3 (01:22:31):
He's but he's not bad. He's just he's injury prone.

Speaker 4 (01:22:36):
He's bad, injury prone and bad.

Speaker 3 (01:22:39):
Really.

Speaker 4 (01:22:40):
Yeah, the yards per carrying numbers have been just regressing everything.

Speaker 2 (01:22:44):
Because he's not been able to stay healthy. And with
that next thing last year, he was out the entire season.
I still like that but one point six million on
a on Amerson.

Speaker 3 (01:22:53):
Which is fine.

Speaker 4 (01:22:54):
Yeah right, it was the shot penning deal. It doesn't
hurt if it doesn't work out, it's whatever. And you're
bringing in another question, all right, aren't we.

Speaker 2 (01:23:02):
That I didn't get And it might have been because
you know, we didn't have anybody in a position that
knew how to call offense. But you know, you you
bring in Rashad Penny and everybody is excited about that.
Here's this, you know, uh, union worker type esque running

(01:23:22):
back that's going to get you the the short yards.
That's just a bitch to bring down what six three
two forty five solid, you.

Speaker 4 (01:23:33):
Know, master, he's six ft two forty seven massive, six
ft two forty seven, sixty seven solid.

Speaker 2 (01:23:40):
Solid, solid, solid growth hormone. Just and how many carries
did he get?

Speaker 3 (01:23:47):
Got?

Speaker 2 (01:23:48):
Like nine the entire season? And aren't running backs supposed
to like to have to get into a rhythms. Some
running backs have to have a few carries before they
get get absolutely, get get there, get their rhythm.

Speaker 4 (01:24:06):
Derek Henry is one of those. Even Saquon a little
bit sometimes Sequon more, I think he's always just looking
for the home run on which he did less of
that this year, which was phenomenal and it worked out
very well. But yeah, there were some running backs that
do need some time to like get the ball rolling
a little bit, to just to get physically, I guess
ready for a big play.

Speaker 2 (01:24:26):
So Penny shot Penny loved to Reshot Penny, Well, I like,
is AJ Dillon gonna even get.

Speaker 4 (01:24:34):
That's what I mean a J Dillon probably, Like I
think it'll be a Rashot Penny type role. Who knows
if he if he's on the field, get nine carries.

Speaker 3 (01:24:41):
He could never gonna know whether or not it worked.

Speaker 4 (01:24:43):
Yeah, exactly like it. I think it could be that
kind of situation for him because, yeah, it's a guy
that is on a mercenary deal that is trying to
I think, fight his way to stay on an NFL roster.
You know, I don't think it's a guarantee. Even though
with the Eagles roster the way it is, he should
be able to get a spot on this roster, but
it's not. He's a type of player that isn't guarantee.

Speaker 2 (01:25:02):
We got and and I'm gonna say this and then
we're gonna go to break, but uh, aj Dillon nickname
is Quadzilla, all right, Saquon Barkley, Yeah, yeah, I don't Yeah,
I'm good, I'm saying it. Yeah, best quads in the business, right,

(01:25:24):
is right now a possibility that A. J. Dillon is
accepting the same program that Saquon was on this year
to stay healthy, to stay energetic, to stay powerful, to
stay you know, to be what you need.

Speaker 3 (01:25:47):
I don't know. Uh.

Speaker 4 (01:25:49):
I mean that's where his that's where his value is though,
and that he is a different kind of running back.
He's a different body type from like a Willship. Here ready,
here's the fun part.

Speaker 3 (01:25:59):
All right.

Speaker 2 (01:26:00):
We have always said we needed that player to get
us the short yardage.

Speaker 3 (01:26:05):
We don't need that anymore. Right, we have the touch push.

Speaker 2 (01:26:10):
So now again, guys are all pathetic, by the way,
just because Chris Jones got a neck stinger. Ooh, we
have to make sure that this is a safe play.
It's absolutely safe. Nobody's rushing full speed into each other.
It's like a rugby scrum. You freaking idiots are pain

(01:26:31):
in the balls. Seriously, just let it go. Anyway. On
our final segment and we come back, I uh am
going to.

Speaker 3 (01:26:41):
Ask the question about our offensive line.

Speaker 2 (01:26:44):

Okay, we'll figure it out. Yeah, Wieners and wing As everybody.

Speaker 2 (01:29:58):
Final segment, all right, I would like to know your
response to saying and This is a powerful statement considering
Jason Kelsey was not at center arguably or not the

(01:30:26):
best offensive line in NFL.

Speaker 3 (01:30:28):
History last year. Wow, that's a great question. The tackles
you do, Let's let's let's do this. Okay.

Speaker 2 (01:30:38):
You got Lane Johnson, who is first ballot Hall of
Fame as well. Right, Yeah, he's first bat been the
best of his been the best at his position for over.

Speaker 4 (01:30:48):
A decade period at a very important position in tackle.

Speaker 2 (01:30:52):
Yep, you got Land and Dickerson making it to another
Pro Bowl, right and to I love listening to him
on the field before they go out.

Speaker 3 (01:31:04):
He is just angry.

Speaker 2 (01:31:07):
He is angry, and his wife is very cool. By
the way, met her in Chicago a couple of years ago. Uh,
Jordan my Alotta, you just you.

Speaker 3 (01:31:18):
Just you just can't do you can't, you can't. You
can't f with him.

Speaker 2 (01:31:22):
You got nothing right And by the ways, it has
been fun to see that Jordan my a lotta is
not only Jalen hurts his blind side, but he also
has his back every single play. He's the first one
to run to him if he gets hit, first, one

(01:31:47):
to pick him up first, one.

Speaker 3 (01:31:48):
To ask him if he's okay. That's that's his boy,
all right.

Speaker 2 (01:31:53):
Then you have Cam Jurgens, which I said, no, people
didn't want to hear. It was time for Jason to
leave because we needed to see in year three whether
or not Cam Jurgens was everything that we thought.

Speaker 3 (01:32:08):
He was or could be, and we did find out.
This guy makes it to the Pro Bowl his first season.
And then.

Speaker 2 (01:32:17):
Where you have Isaac Saymalu at right tackle the year
before all right, gets replaced by a guy that unfortunately
was drafted by a team where players and talent go
to die in Mackai Beckden and we pick him up.

(01:32:41):
By the way, just looking at Mackai Beckden next to
Cam Jurgens is kind of hysterical, like McKay's gotta go
three sixty. I don't know what they have him at,
and Cam is Cam might be two ninety right Becton,

(01:33:03):
you know, for the snap count has his hand slaps
him right. It's like it's like a paddle port on
a two year old. It's so awfully, awfully odd that Mackay,
Mackay Beckton is Corey Simon in year five. Corey Simon,

(01:33:26):
by year five in the NFL had his own zip code.

Speaker 3 (01:33:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:33:29):
Oh, yeah, right, Corey Simon was just a sight to behold.

Speaker 3 (01:33:33):
He really was.

Speaker 2 (01:33:35):
It was like this, he was one massive human being
god Zilla getting out of the lake Man. It was hysterical. Yeah,
but my god, I forgot it. I actually am going
to shut up now. Arguably best offensive line in history.
Tell me another one besides Dallas in the Midnight.

Speaker 4 (01:33:58):
Well, Dallas and Dak's your first second year was also
awesome with like Zach Martin and I forget the other
guy Campbell or something like that, the left tackle who
was just a machine. So there have been some good ones.
I don't because the Eagles have had some great offensive
lines too back in the day. I would say it's
it's got to be without looking at it, it's got

(01:34:18):
to be one of just because you have a first
round talent Makai Beckton who's playing guard like switched positions
and looked like a first round talent. That's amazing to see.
You have again going to be potentially first bout hall
of famer and Lane Johnson at right tackle. The other
guy who's building a Hall of Fame resume at left
tackle in Jordan Mylatta. To have the best right and
potentially the best left tackle in football is hard to do.

(01:34:41):
And if you have that, you have pretty much anchored
your offensive line. Back back in the day. The Eagles
had that too with Trey Thomas and John Runyan, like
anchored offensive lines for a long time. And these guys
are probably better than that this. Sorry Trey, I love Trey,
but these guys are probably better than that. You know,
it's crazy how good they are. And to add the
fact that really young blossoming Cam Jurgen's who is looking
like he's going to replace a Hall of Famer very easily.

Speaker 2 (01:35:03):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (01:35:04):
And then a left guard in Landa Dickerson who has
been just so solid, like one of the best guards
in football, is so solid, and so yeah, it's hard.

Speaker 3 (01:35:10):
It's hard to compete with that after lots of question
marks about his health.

Speaker 2 (01:35:15):
Yeah, right right, and he's been why that's why, and
that's why he dumped to the second round.

Speaker 3 (01:35:20):
Yep, sorry, continue, just what a draft pick.

Speaker 4 (01:35:24):
But yeah, just everything collectively, you know, we'll see a
lot of the times. We'll just see at the end
of the career is what these guys eventually turned into.
But I think we are seeing one of the better
offensive lines in all of football. Ever, this is this
is a great offensive.

Speaker 2 (01:35:38):
Can we can we just say right now, top three
because when you're when you're talking about this, all right,
when this question comes to pass, the only the only
offensive line that comes to mind that we think might
be uh equivalent or is the Cowboys from the mid nineties.

Speaker 3 (01:36:04):
I don't, I can't think of another line.

Speaker 4 (01:36:07):
I mean, the Cowboys were one. You mentioned the Cowboys?

Speaker 3 (01:36:10):
That was that was one?

Speaker 2 (01:36:12):
It is? I don't, I don't, but I don't know
what you well, hold on, ready, I guess it all
depends on the next few years.

Speaker 4 (01:36:19):
Right, yeah, it does. I mean, what kind of player
does Cam Jurgens turn to turn out to be?

Speaker 2 (01:36:28):
No, no, no, no, no, no no. These are already
talented players. It's how many championships they win moving forward? Yeah,
I think that's what. Oh yeah, this ultimately comes down.

Speaker 4 (01:36:40):
Especially with Hall of Fame for lineman. Hall of Fame
stuff does unfortunately rely a lot on It does like
championship does it does?

Speaker 3 (01:36:47):
But well and also if Saquon does have another year
or two.

Speaker 2 (01:36:54):
Like he had, or you know, it's gonna be Look, everybody, Philadelphia,
don't get excited, all right, don't expect Saquon to have
another year like he did this year. Let's just hope
he continues to be that game changing player. I don't

(01:37:14):
need him to have two thousand yards. I just need
him to inflict his will to win on everybody and
here we go, which is part of the segue. It's
also going to depend on the health of our offensive line. Yes,
and you're right, You're right. There's probably two years, two

(01:37:36):
years right now, two more seasons where there's a real opportunity.
This offense is going to be studley for two.

Speaker 4 (01:37:44):
Defense is going to be too, well, you know, there's
still because the rookies defense could be studley for a
long time.

Speaker 3 (01:37:50):
I get it.

Speaker 2 (01:37:51):
We still have some question marks. We have a question
mark about Jordan Davis, all right. We have a question
mark about Bryce Huff all right. I think I don't
think we have any question marks about the secondary. I
am concerned about whether or not Oh God, Illinois, Uh

(01:38:12):
safety Sydney Brown. Sydney said, nay, uh if he is,
why did you say it like that?

Speaker 3 (01:38:19):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (01:38:20):
That's from white men can't jump the original one when
they're first messing around with Woody Harrelson on the beach.

Speaker 3 (01:38:30):
My name is Sidney said, nay. So anyway, uh.

Speaker 2 (01:38:38):
Bryce uugh, Jordan Davis safety linebacker is pretty solid at
this point. How do you feel about Patrick Johnson?

Speaker 4 (01:38:51):
I've always been a good like depth guy. When they've
had to go to him, he's he's played fine, like nothing,
nothing bad. So yeah, I mean I I like him.

Speaker 3 (01:39:02):
That okay, so kind of ambivalent.

Speaker 4 (01:39:05):
Yeah, right, like Patrick Johnson, I'm not I'm not gonna
expect to like make any kind of leaps or anything.
It's just great player to have back in the depth chart.
And we've seen him come in at times like he's
had to take some snaps and he's played well in
those snaps. That's all you can ask for with a
guy in that position.

Speaker 2 (01:39:20):
So is Bryce Huff gonna have to be the one
that steps up? Let's let's ask that question. Because you
lose Brandon Graham, you lose Joshua all right, So the
ones that you've retained, all right, Nolan Smith, all right,
Jylex Hunt.

Speaker 3 (01:39:40):
Which I like Jylex of course, I like j Yeah.
Oh my god, I'm brain farting right now. Who else?

Speaker 2 (01:39:45):
Uh? So they have they got a couple of free agents, yeah,
as Joshua all right. I don't know much about Joshua.

Speaker 4 (01:39:56):
Solid like probably five six sack of year guys could
be more, I think.

Speaker 3 (01:40:02):
Right o Jelari, once again, that was just how they
how they got him.

Speaker 4 (01:40:07):
For four million for a year is is Yeah, those
are guys that are rotational guys that can play significant snaps,
Like you could put him out there and play meaningful
snaps and that's that's great to have a couple. That's
great to have a few of those guys, not just
you know, one or two. I think I think this
Eagles defense on the edge rush is okay. Right, they

(01:40:27):
don't have the elite guy which they were hoping Huff
would be. They were hoping he would be like the
the Hassan Reddick replacement, and Reddick was great to have
as an elite pass rusher. But I think, also we
saw the Eagles last year, depth was also a good
thing too. It's good to be able to rotate.

Speaker 3 (01:40:40):
Up I think position.

Speaker 4 (01:40:43):
So you at least have five guys who I would
say Ken and now Bryce offf is the only one
that I guess I would have the concerns about, even
though I still think the talent is there as a
pass rusher, he just needs to figure it out and
Fangio's offense or defense. But yeah, I would say Bryce off,
Ojilari Uce, Jlex Hunt, and Nolan Smith.

Speaker 3 (01:41:04):
Uh so you got five guys who could How do
you feel about Jalox I love Jalx Hunt.

Speaker 4 (01:41:09):
I think he I think he already showed leaps forward
in his development that I didn't know he was going
to reach or didn't think he could reach until like
another year or two. So the fact that he's already
shown flashes of it. The guy's got the skills, and
the guy's now utilizing those skills very well, like like
a just a built like a great pass version.

Speaker 3 (01:41:28):
Yeah he is.

Speaker 2 (01:41:29):
He is.

Speaker 4 (01:41:30):
His size and speed combination, he has built like a
like a very good pass rusher. It's just that they
needed to see it at a higher level. They needed
to see him develop, and he has developed wonderfully well,
I mean to the point where it's even this year
he could be a significant impact just in year two.

Speaker 3 (01:41:47):
How about Jordan Davis? And then we're gonna call it
a day.

Speaker 4 (01:41:50):
I I understand that maybe Jordan Davis because the Eagles
went and and made it an effort to draft him
and get him and he was very much an athletic
specimen that we expected a lot from him. But it's
not like Jordan Davis has ever been a bad player.
He is a good player that I think eventually you
want to see more out of and and like you

(01:42:11):
know that there is a little bit more to get
out of him, and if they could ever get it,
I think they have a phenomenal player there. Like I
think they have a really I have to say, like
significant impactful player. But it's a guy who can make
significant plays, which is great to have.

Speaker 3 (01:42:25):
I agree. All right, brother, let's call it a day.
Shall we another great show? Look at us? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:42:31):
Hey, he made it another two hours without Hill mid
season fom already and it's not It's it's only May.
