Legion because the schedule is out, Trips are being planned,
and memory is gonna be made and hopefully a winning season. Mabe,
maybe another super Bowl season, we'll see.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
I want one. I think we can get one, but
the schedule is out, and I do want to go
over the.

Speaker 3 (01:09):
Schedule, and we'll do so as Quimby is going to
join us live in studio.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
Of course, running a little late.

Speaker 3 (01:17):
It's not a nice trip out here to the Philadelphia
area to the balakin Wood studios without being.

Speaker 2 (01:21):
A little late. But it's good.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
We're gonna have Quimby in studio, live in person. That'll
be a lot of fun. And I'm sure we're gonna
go over the schedule. He's going to go over the
trips that he has planned, that the Green Legion has planned.
But this schedule though, is rough, not from a trip
planning standpoint.

Speaker 2 (01:39):
There's a lot of fun games.

Speaker 3 (01:41):
But rough as in there's a lot of good teams
on the schedule. So Warren Sharp, he is a football
analytics expert. He puts out the twenty twenty five NFL
strength of schedule based on Vegas forecasted win totals, so
not by what the team was last year or the
teams that they have in their schedule, on what the

(02:02):
records were last year, but strength of schedule using Vegas
win totals. And the Eagles right now sit at fourth
hardest schedule. The Giants said, the first hardest schedule. I
don't know how they're going to get through that. Speaking
of I don't know how the Cleveland Browns are gonna
get through the second hardest schedule of the season. Third

(02:26):
is Detroit, fourth the Eagles, and fifth Minnesota. So the
top three teams potentially, I think Minnesota could be very good.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
I'm a big JJ McCarthy guy. Detroit.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
Obviously they lose their coordinators, still a lot of talent.
Dan Campbell's done a great job there. Expect maybe things
to be sort of still the same, Still very good
in Detroit. So the top three teams in the NFC projected,
with also the Eagles being there, have three of the
toughest schedules in all of football. So the NFC pretty

(03:02):
tough this year. Usually we look at the AFC and
the AFC being the hardest conference just because there seems
to be a lot of great quarterbacks there. There just
seems to be more better teams in the AFC the NFC,
but the NFC is tough. Just go by Division Eagles

(03:24):
commanders in the first in the NFC East. Those are
the top two projected. Those are two definitely playoff teams.
Washington just depending on who you're talking to and how
bullish they are on Dan Quinn's team and Jaden Daniels
and what they did in the all season, some people
would consider maybe Washington a contender for the NFC. Then

(03:47):
you get to the NFC North Detroit, Minnesota, green Bay,
the wildcard being Chicago. I think they have talent, and
I do still like Caleb Williams, and they get boy
wonder Ben Johnson to run their offense, so Chicago could
be good. The NFC South is the only division where
they stink a lot.

Speaker 2 (04:06):
Tampa Bay.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
Maybe I would still say Tampa Bay the favorite to
win that division still, and then Atlanta Carolina, New Orleans,
Sorry gone, you're terrible. And then the NFC West the
Rams still running it back with Matthew Stafford, still running
it back with Sean McVay, so the Rams could be good.
We know that the Rams were the only ones to
really give the Eagles a scare in the playoff run,

(04:30):
so that's a dangerous team as long as they have
that core together. Arizona in another year with Jonathan Gannon
and they seem to be getting better. And then San
Francisco They're coming off of a bad year, but still talented.
They paid Brock Purty that and still a great coach
in Kyle Shanahan. They were coming off of a bit

(04:50):
of injury problems last year, and as long as they
stay healthy, they should be a very good football team.
So the NFC is tough, and I think it is
reflected on the strength of schedule, because four of the
top five hardest schedules are from the NFC. Again, the
Giants at won, Detroit at three, Eagles at four, in

(05:12):
Minnesota at five, So it's tough, and the Eagles have
one of the toughest ones. The beginning of the schedule
is where I find actually the most interest for me,
because last year the Eagles didn't start well, like things
got better after the bye week. Things got better after
the first like four games where they struggled and they

(05:33):
didn't look like a Super Bowl contending team. There were
a lot of questions about whether or not they could be.
Nick Sirianni was on the chopping block. He had a
hot seat, and I think the seat was legitimately pretty hot.
And then the Eagles go on they won the Super Bowl,
so that is a that was their story last year.

(05:54):
A lot of times, it seems like with super Bowl
winning teams they start off the next season very well.
They carry that momentum into the next season and perform
well at the start. So the Eagles could get off
to a fast start, but the schedule is pretty hard.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
To start.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
You have a divisional game against one of your top
rivals in the Dallas Cowboys the season, not saying the
Cowboys are great. I don't know what they're going to
be this year. I kind of like a lot of
the moves that they made in the off season. I
thought they had an excellent draft, but draft doesn't translate
to immediate wins. And the free agency a lackluster thereof

(06:34):
of signings were definitely noticeable for Dallas. Still, though Dak
Prescott going to be healthy, you would think not sure,
too short the injury, when he's going to be healthier
or what his status is going to be. But Dak
Prescott and the Cowboys still somewhat dangerous. It's a division rival,
which that's a tough opener. Usually don't open with a

(06:56):
division rival. I don't know if I like that. I
actually kind of hate it. You shouldn't have division games
to start the season, but division game is a division game.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
They're always gonna be somewhat tough.

Speaker 3 (07:09):
Then you go on the road to take on the Chiefs,
take on the Rams, and on the road again to
take on Tampa Bay early in the season. Those are
three very good teams, and two of them are teams
that the Eagles could see in the playoffs. In the NFC,

(07:30):
so that you have a division game, a super Bowl rematch,
a playoff rematch, and a Buccaneers team that is, let's
be honest, that it's gotten the better of the Eagles
over the past few seasons. I find that to be
the most intriguing part. What does this team? How does
this team start? There's going to be changes a little

(07:50):
bit defensively because there's been a little bit more of
a revolving door with defensive end. A linebacker outside to
sack Bond gets a little interesting because of injuries. And
then Darius lay is not there, so who takes the
outside cornerback position? And how do they do they look

(08:12):
without uh CJ. Gunner Johnson And how do they look
without Darius Slay as well? So there's there's a little
bit of turnover. Not saying that they're going to be bad.
I find that they're going to be very good. And
Quinion Mitchell is still there, Kabua Gene is still there.
You still have Jalen Carter another year, Jordan Davis, who
I think is good. Red Blanket Ship might be one
of the better safeties in the league now, which is
kind of crazy to say for an undrafted player, but

(08:35):
read blanket Ship is one of the better safeties in
the NFL. So it's still good. I'm just fascinated how
good at the start? What are some of the things
that are going to show up, because it will happen
inevitably that something shows up early in the season.

Speaker 2 (08:53):
And this this was true last year.

Speaker 3 (08:56):
That they some some things came up and they needed
to fix a lot of it defensively, and a lot
of it was fixed when Cooper Degen ended up playing
and ended up coming back from his injury from training
camp playing and starting, so that was a big change.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
But there was something that came up.

Speaker 3 (09:11):
They were able to fix it two years ago, and
the disappointing season that almost got nixt to Ariani fired
and everything was we don't know how it's going. Two
seasons ago was they were playing in a lot of
close games. Yes they won a lot, but it set
the tone. How they played in the Patriots game, how
they played against Minnesota, how they played early on in

(09:34):
that season was dictated how they played the rest of
the year.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
That was the same team.

Speaker 3 (09:40):
They started to lose those games eventually, and that was
the problem. But that question arose quickly they're winning a
lot of close games. Can they keep this up? Can
they keep this up and get better? And the answer
was no. So the starts of these seasons are indicative
of what you could be and what you need to

(10:02):
fix and how fast you can fix those things, because
you don't want them to be long term problems. If
you start turning the ball over early, is that going
to be something that stays now? Jalen Hurts didn't. He
turned the ball over a little bit in the first
four weeks, but again everything changed after the bye week
and they were able to fix that. So that's a

(10:22):
really hard part of your schedule where you're facing again
division rival, three playoff potential teams, two that are in
the NFC and the Ranso Buccaneers and then the Chief
Super Bowl rematch. I find that start to be absolutely
fascinating and it is going to set the tone for
what this Eagles team could be. That's when your injuries

(10:44):
are going to happen. Most likely most of the time
you're devastating. Season ending injuries are going to happen beginning
of the year in training camp again of the year,
and we're going to see what how are they going
to potentially replace some injuries. How injury prone are they
going to be? Are they going to be healthy going
into the year. Are they going to be healthy after

(11:05):
the first two or three games, because those are going
to be rough, physical games. How healthy are they going
to be? And how well are they going to perform?
Is this going to be Take the momentum from last year.
Everything that happened last year goes seamlessly into this year.
Sae Quon Barkley is still rushing for one hundred, one
hundred and fifty two hundred yards a game in the
first four games. The running game is so electric and

(11:27):
it opens up things to the passing game is still a. J. Brown,
still electric, Devonte Smith very good, Dallas s Gooddard hopefully
healthy to start the season. He gets involved, offensive lines
really good. There there are some questions about right guard
and if they are able to replace Mkai Becton, but
that's all things that are dictated to me early on
in this season, and they have an interesting group of

(11:50):
teams to play other notable stretches.

Speaker 2 (11:53):
In the schedule. You then get to.

Speaker 3 (11:57):
The NFC North portion where you take on the Vike,
will take on the Vikings. Then at home against the Giants,
but on the road against Green Bay. After that, then
you take on the Lions at home, and then the
Cowboys on the road, and then the Bear So that's
a difficult one because you get the Packers and Lions
back to back and one of those being in lambeau
Field on the road. That is going to be maybe

(12:21):
season changing in the NFC. It's going to matter a
lot with seeding. And then of course the end of
the schedule gets interesting where you take on the last
three games are on the road in Washington, on the
road against the Bills, and that at home against Washington.
That could determine potentially the NFC East if Washington is
performing that well. So those are a couple of other stretches,

(12:41):
but again the one that fascinates me the most is
you have a lot of great teams that you're playing,
a lot of playoff teams you're playing early. How do
the Eagles look What are some some things that come up,
What are some of the inevitable Here are some issues
with the Eagles, and what do they look like? Are
they able to still win? Does it get worrisome? It's
gonna be interesting to see how they react to that.

(13:02):
All right, I'm gonna call from Quimby. Quinby is here
and we are going to bring him in the studio
Green Legion Radio.

Speaker 2 (13:09):
My name is John Janssen.

(15:19):

and then I'm gonna go get drunk somewhere with tree
wow the green leasion way. Yeah, kind of kind of
in our favorite sponsors, Cheerleaders Gentlemen. Yeah. Well sorry, rough
to you by Cheerleaders Gentlemen's Club. I'm a little off.

(15:39):
All right, Let's see here, Let's see if I remember
because I know Jansen, I I can't stand lyft drivers, dude,
or uber drivers. I really can't. You just have a
bad experience. Yeah right, yeah, no, I asked the dude
I handed due to twenty when he picks me up
at uh at my hotel and I'm like, hey, you know,
I'm I'm running a little behind. Can you please, you know,

(16:01):
just drive drive as fast as drive No, drive as
fast as you want and feel drive as fast as
you feel safe. That's what I say. And I think
it's a good line, you know, drive as fast as
you feel safe. And then guy was not moving at all,
and I called him out a language. And as we're
going over the language what I said, she just nonchalantly

(16:23):
dropped the bad one. Did I Yeah, oh my god,
you did. I didn't even know I did it. Hold on,
I'm gonna put my radio face on. Oh my gosh,
sorry about that.

Speaker 3 (16:38):
You should not ever be allowed in the same room together.
I yeah, I gotta go, especially microphones in front of us.

Speaker 2 (16:43):
So on uh. On the on the top of the
Platte Bridge, he goes, I don't want this ride anymore.
I'm dropping you off at wah wah what.

Speaker 4 (16:59):
You know what?

Speaker 2 (17:00):
Wait what? I tolerate the fact that a large percentage
of lifting Uber drivers learned to drive in another country.
They still but yo, yeah, you can go. Kissed my ass.
He's just like, yeah, I don't feel like doing this. Actually,
I got I want to go home. I just drive.

(17:21):
I have better things to do. No, because he wasn't moving,
there was plenty of room. You're not going to get
zapped on the plat bridge. Have you ever heard of
anybody that got a speeding ticket on the plat Bridge? Though?
Exactly so. Uh that's how that went down anyway. Sorry,
sorry for dropping bombs. I love that you did it.

Speaker 3 (17:43):
You didn't even truck, because usually there's an attempt or,
at least afterwards, an acknowledgment of oops, I shouldn't have
said that.

Speaker 2 (17:48):
You just kept going. I didn't say anything, you would
have not ever known. You're right, I'm I'm I'm incredible. Yeah,
I suck anyway. Glad that dump button works again. I
don't know. I haven't tried that in a while. We'll see.
You know what, I don't understand that I said specifically
when you guys asked me to start being part of

(18:10):
this program, make sure that the button works. And it wasn't.
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 3 (18:14):
And you know what, quib I'll give you some credit.
You're not even the worst we have read. We've had
someone your what who was it? Evans the governor. In
Jerry's defense, he was crocked. He wasn't he was he was,
he was half bombed.

Speaker 2 (18:33):
Well, you just make people feel so comfortable conversation here
to help. Has an Eagles player done it before? I
think they've been pretty good for the most part. Britain Covey,
Britain Covey. That's right, Britain. Britain Covey dropped an s bomb,
which is the one that I would think that would

(18:54):
least do that, at least leave it. Oh yeah, good stuff.
Uh so let's see rate review, Download and subscribe to

games to win five hundred dollars cash. Did you get home?
By the way, I forgot to ask this because last
time you were you were moving. I'm still there, Okay.
I have to figure out where to live in less
than thirty days. I haven't been able to get a
grip on anything. Dude, I'm so, I'm so no, it's

(21:18):

in both war He's and Autumn New Jersey. Uh. I
and J Bobbles Cigar Lounge, Prodigy Elite Group and I'm

(22:24):
missing one and I can't remember what it is. Well,
I'm impressed that you know, cheer, well done, thank you.

Speaker 3 (22:31):
I'm surprised that the amount you've probably drowned your brain
over the years with certain beverages that you can still
do that.

Speaker 2 (22:37):
That's amazing. You're incredible. Yeah, just certain beverages, Yeah, just
a few. Uh So let's see here, you're a medical marvel.
I'm a I'm a I am a walking guinea pig
for for for not modern medicine. All right, let's see. Uh,

(23:01):
you're talking about the schedule. I don't want to influence that,
but we did sell out our Green Bay flight in
less than twenty four hours, which is kind of freaking awesome.
I did you see the Green Bay one Green Bay. Oh,
Eagles fans just want to trash Green Bay? Is this?

Speaker 3 (23:21):
Because is this you think off the animosity of the
toast push thing. They're like, let's go to Green Bay.

Speaker 2 (23:26):
And I don't know what it is. You know, I
think it's I think it's it is a historical I
think it's a great time to go to Green Bay. Okay,
I think it's a great time to go to Green
Bay because you're gonna get a little bit of that
tundra feel. But you're not. But you're not gonna freeze
your freeze your eggs off. You know what I mean.
You're gonna sweat your eggs off with Tampa Bay. How

(23:46):
great is that? Say again, You're gonna you're gonna sweat
your eggs off with Tampa Bay. How how lovely? Lovely?
Hold on, yeah, I know you know what going on this.
You'll here, pull your schedule up on your laptop so
I don't have to look at it. I'll pull the
schedule up on your laptops, delete my browser history, pretty don't. Hey, dude,

(24:06):
whatever you're into, cool, let me know because if it's
something I haven't tried, you know, I'm kind of down.
You've probably seen it all here we go. I was
looking at it. We have four one o'clock games at home,
which is nice, it's awesome. All right. We prefer that
because those are the tailgates that'll sell. However, is that

(24:26):
your favorite tailgate? One o'clock all right? Hell yeah, yeah,
I like a good morning one get all all day, dude,
I get it. You know you got to get up early.
We're up at six o'clock, which is a pain in
the ass, but I see, I'm okay with that. I
like being up early for football. It gets me excited. Well,
there you go, because I used I was used to
we were we were a church family, so we I

(24:48):
would go to church in the morning and like get
ready for football. So I'm a morning person. Wha it
comes the NFL. Son, I'm happy to be passed out
in a stromboli by six pm on on on Sunday
and not you know, hey, somebody tell me what happened
on Sunday night? What kind of kind of stromboli were talking?
Oh ready, pizez original. That's the only place that makes

(25:11):
the ones that I used to love. Large steak strumboli.
No onions, no Peppers, extra sauce, extra sauce. Yeah, leave that,
leave that thing dripping sauce sauce. It o brother. All right,
So this is this is good, but we're gonna talk
more about Let's let's talk about trips on the top
of the hour because I want to stay where you

(25:32):
where you were here. So Dallas game. I hate that
it starts with a divisional game. Okay, hold on a second,
come the opposite. Well, we talked about this, I think
for anybody that hates that game. Oh we didn't talk
about this, No, we haven't. I talked about this on

(25:53):
the on the pod. For anybody that it hates that game,
just check yourself, baby, all right? Do you know why
it's fair? No? No, I know what you're saying. It's
l Do you know why I love this because every
member of the Dallas Cowboy organization has to watch us
unveil that banner. You think Jerry's gonna be brave enough

(26:16):
to show his face in like an owner's box. Of course,
he doesn't care, and he's gonna be Oh I do, though,
I want to see that. Just see him with this.

Speaker 3 (26:24):
He's gonna have sunglasses on. He doesn't want you to
see what is uh what his reaction is. But he's
gonna be watching them hang a ban. Do you know
what Jerry is doing. He's laughing at every owner in
the NFL all the way to the bank. Yeah, I
guess so I'm good with that now.

Speaker 2 (26:40):
I was. I'm jumping ship a little bit here because
the schedule's rough. Beginning of the schedule is a little rough.

Speaker 4 (26:46):
I like it.

Speaker 2 (26:47):
I like to test them early on. It's I don't like, Well,
here we go. What I don't like is, uh, you
can't count the season opener as a Thursday night game
and you're only supposed to have one, right, Well, we
have a Thursday night game against the Giants. Why bezos,
you prick? No, you're not dumping that. No, no, no, no,

(27:11):
that's all right. And in from junction with that, I
don't like the fact that we're playing the Giants twice
in three weeks. What is this hot? But no, but
then you got Washington twice in three weeks as well.
I doubt that. I don't like it at all, especially
because if Washington does end up playing as well as
they might or as some people are predicting, that's going

(27:34):
to decide. It's going to decide the NFC East in
three weeks, and I hate that. Well, stay with me
on this, all right, Thursday, that's one Thursday night game
or Thursday game. Then we play Black Friday right against Chicago,
all right, and then we have a Saturday game against
the Commanders. That's three games, three games with not a

(27:58):
full week, not a full week, So you know, NFL,
what what are you doing? And in addition to that,
In addition to that, the the game that I hate
the most is the September game against the Bucks. That's
three years in a row. That's three years that. Hey, NFL,
you haven't had any creative juices flowing whatsoever. Whoever you

(28:18):
know is throwing the dart board on that or just
packed it away. That's three years in a row. Three
years in a row. You've given a distinct advantage to
the Bucks in a game because they train in that heat. No,
we we never stayed the whole game. I just can't.

Speaker 3 (28:37):
I just don't like it's the same part of the schedule.
I mean, this is the second week in a row,
the second year in a row. It's been week four,
right or at least around three. Yeah, third, come on,
can we can we get a little bit different?

Speaker 2 (28:48):
Just something? Shake it up? You know what? NFL? Shake
it up a little bit? Third week in a row?
How about do it like week six? I know that's crazy. No,
I'm with you, thank you. It's such ridiculous. Something a
little different, It's absolutely ridiculous. Let's see here. Are you

(29:11):

up No, no, no working dump but sorry, I'm a
little I'm a little lost here. And where'd you go?

through your own head? Where am I? Where am I? Yes?
What am I doing? Let's see here? How did I
get here? Oh? All right? Cool? I got it? Okay?
Are you crunching numbers? I know I'm trying to find

(29:58):
a number? What is this number? Four?

Speaker 4 (30:01):
Like?

Speaker 2 (30:01):
Yeah, what is this number? I'm getting beat up? You
were getting this phone is just beating the hell out
of you right now. Huh. I'm getting yelled at by
lift Oh are you? Oh? What? Before because he told
the guy like, hey, just what do you? How would
you be getting out at my lyft. Wouldn't they be

(30:23):

favorite part.

Speaker 3 (33:34):
I do, and I'm a big Lebron James guy, but
why why kiss? It's fun to watch him play basketball.
He's a really good basketball player. But but I will
he's an annoying bitch.

Speaker 2 (33:46):

you guys at your reception and get really drunk. No,
I won't, Oh God, as far as you know. So,
so are we allowed to talk about what we just
uh spoke about before before?

Speaker 4 (35:33):
So?

Speaker 2 (35:33):
Uh, I've been I've been asking Jansen to come down
for a while a while for a show, uh, just
to do it together in Florida, you know, have some fun.
He goes, well, you know, maybe, uh maybe I'll bring
uh uh maybe I'll bring my lady friend with me.
I'm like, please, yeah, come on, everybody, the more the merry.
He goes, well, I'm not quite so sure. I wanted

(35:54):
to want to introduce I wanted to introduce her to you,
though I don't know if that's good. I immediately said, yeah, cool,
does she have friends in Florida? She wants me to
piss off.

Speaker 3 (36:05):
So here we are so genuine though, it's like, sure,
like make sure she doesn't because you don't want that
to happen.

Speaker 2 (36:13):
It was generally genuine that you you asked that. I'm
self aware, man, you are very very self aware. Milk
on his head? What is happening? He looks like he's
I can't Why is what I was at? Five hundred?
I guess yeah, oh like I get Yeah, they're celebrating

(36:37):
or does it look like it's old mile? Are you
about to throw up?

Speaker 4 (36:45):
No?

Speaker 2 (36:45):
I'm good. You sure that's chunky? Doesn't that look chunky?
Oh that's disgusting. It looks dumb. Yeah, it looks very dumb.
All right, yeah, you just can you imagine that's Isn't
that weird? Isn't that weird? Tradition? Like you win milk? No?

Speaker 3 (37:05):
Five hundred like very in that sport. It's like their
super Bowl. That's the one that's the Daytona five hundred.
You're a surprise or not your your your celebration. You're like,
this is everything I've wanted and I've dreamed about. And
it's like, yeah, here's your glass of milk. That's like
the big thing, all right, just a glass of milk.

(37:27):
That's what you want me to do, kiss some bricks
and drink milk. It's so weird.

Speaker 2 (37:31):
Hold on, I have a response from LYFT. I have
a response with the glasses being dramatically put on of course.
Man uh wow at seven messages from you guys to
let me know that I have one response. Gosh, there's
milk running down at his leg and everything. Geez uh.

(37:53):
Thank you Craig so much for taking the time to
address this allegation with me. This is proof that you
are in an honest person, So I appreciate you. Please
rest assured that your feedback is highly appreciated.

Speaker 3 (38:06):
Is that all they kept saying is we appreciate you.
We appreciate everything that you appreciate. We appreciate it.

Speaker 2 (38:12):
Then we didn't. There's We're always going to follow up
with you when we receive a report like this because
at the end of the day, we aren't physically in
these rides. I hope you understand that we do not
control the reports that are made. There's sometimes a possibility, unfortunately,
of misunderstandings or even false or conflicting reports and feedback.

(38:34):
We see your are we see you are a well
rated top lift rider, and we appreciate you. I don't know.
That's so surprising. I honestly that is the most shocking
allegation of this entire day. We see your well rated

(38:56):
top lift rider who we appreciate you and hope that
your future es go smoothly without any issues of communication.
Thank you so much for being part of liftan.

Speaker 4 (39:05):
And that that that that.

Speaker 2 (39:08):
I hate customer service speed I would do.

Speaker 3 (39:10):
I would issue a challenge like talking about appreciate All right,
here we go, all right, say what you will, I will.

Speaker 2 (39:17):
I'll continue to say it. I don't like I don't
like outsourcing for customer service. Oh yeah, okay, So last
year last month, uh, one of uh, the roommate of
our house that was paying the mortgage moved out. I
had I bought him out, and uh, can you buy

(39:39):
me out? And I can't even get you to come
down for a weekend. Won't cost you much, Richard? Uh?
So we Uh, I didn't realize that the mortgage he
was paying the bills, and I didn't realize the mortgage
payment wasn't made and okay, gotta gotta make this one.
It was late in the month month, so I call

(40:02):
our our mortgage company, shell Point shell Point uses outsourcing
for customer service. First, here we go, this is out
of control. Made the payment for April and said, you
know what, I'm going to make another payment for May

(40:25):
right now, because it was it was just days away.
Let's get it. Let's get it done, all right. Then
my other roommate gets called from shell Point, Hey, you
haven't made May's payment yet. They took that payment to principle.

(40:46):
I told him right on the phone, Hey, pay for it.
This is for May. Now goes to principle, all right.
And then I guess our mortgage is drawn up considerably
because insurance and fart is out of control. Right, that's
so annoying. So it went up again. I guess because
we needed to. We owed some money at escrow for May.

(41:09):
So asside me calling and screaming at shell Point to
take that money out of principle and put it towards payment.
There was there was still an additional like twenty four
dollars that was owed on May. This person in the

(41:29):
outsourcing center could not figure out how to subscribe, how
to subtract the number from what I paid, could not
figure out how to do that. Twenty five minutes on
the phone to the Philippines and I could not get
my mortgage payment made ridiculous. So thank you everybody for outsourcing.

(41:55):
Thank former Philly Zach Eflin just getting shelled at the moment.
Mm hmm e Flyn's still in the game.

Speaker 4 (42:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (42:03):
Yeah. Baltimore is terrible, are they? Oh? They have one
of the worst pitching rotations in all bases. Yeah, all
the managers are that. That's kind of like a pretty
substantial flip, weren't they.

Speaker 3 (42:19):
Yeah, they were good last year and they let some
guys move on and also didn't sign really anyone. They
didn't fix their starting rotation and bullpen and it's brutal.
It's not good, wasting a lot of good young talent there.

Speaker 2 (42:34):
That sucks. Yeah, alright, Baltimore. So what where are we here?
All right, we're talking. We're talking schedule? Thanks? All right?
Do we want to do we want to start the No,
we're not. You know what we're gonna do. We're gonna.

Speaker 4 (42:53):
What trip?

Speaker 2 (42:54):
Are you excited for? The most? Like? And then the
time of the season, it's pretty good October Is that good?
I mean, it's it's it's it's certainly not you know,
ball freezing weather talking about football but yeah, I mean

(43:15):
that's that's a good It's better than yeah, what was it, February?
And with this schedule, by the way, I think we
should uh go over what we who we think is
wins and losses. Yeah we can, we should, we should
do that, but I don't think because we're gonna go
over at the top of the hour. Uh, all of

(43:37):
our trips for the year. Is Minnesota a fun one?
You know, any any trip where you get to invade
city is and that'll be a smaller one. What a dump.
I love how you have New Jersey on the site.
Oh yeah, it's so great. Yeah, you know once again

(43:58):
the New Jersey Giants. Once again, the Jersey Giants, the
Maryland Commanders and the Arlington Cowboys.

Speaker 3 (44:05):
Maybe not the Maryland Commanders anymore, all right, that might
actually move into DC. Really Yeah, they're talking about Josh
Harris is making moves. Not with the Sixers obviously.

Speaker 2 (44:14):
But I was about to say, he's got a new
he's got a new toy.

Speaker 3 (44:20):
Do you think sometimes that he like wakes up or
like just hasn't it enters his mind just randomly? Oh yeah,
I owned the Sixers, Like just oh that's a thing. Oh, yeah, whatever. Uh,
that's cool and it just goes about his day.

Speaker 2 (44:36):
You know what, Let's do this real quick. We got
a few minutes left before the top of the hour break.
We got a we're good, we got a what do
you want to do? Well. I was gonna gonna say,
it's been fun watching the Pills last It's been fantastic
a couple of weeks. I didn't even realize it until
I think yesterday, and they made they they made a

(44:57):
six game uh uh uh, I don't know what you
call it, but they gained six games on the Mets.
Oh yeah, they were. There were three games behind and
now they're three games up.

Speaker 4 (45:12):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (45:12):
Team's batting well, teams pitching. Good to see Ranger Suarez back,
by the way.

Speaker 3 (45:17):
Yes, I don't think he looks one hundred percent yet,
but yeah, it's good that that game against Colorado wasn't
improvement from his first start.

Speaker 2 (45:24):
Yeah, he's getting there. And I still think, uh, Aaron
Nola is a waste of everything.

Speaker 3 (45:32):
Yeah, I'm a Nola guy, and I think there's still
I'm holding out hope and I think there is a
chance that he can get redeem himself somewhat this season
and he'll be usable in a way.

Speaker 2 (45:43):
It is it is every third, but it's every third
or fourth inning. He lays out a couple of meatballs
and that's it. Yeah. I it is starting to enter
my mind though, that the mileage does look like it's
catching up to him, and that arm's not live anymore.

Speaker 3 (45:57):
That arms, that arms toast. So I'm a little bit
concerned about that. That's where because he he never was
a power pitcher in the first place, Like velocity was
never his forte. But you lose that much, you lose
like three or four off of year fastball. He's not
Jamie Moyer. He's not He's not hitting the strikes owner
pitching so surgically that he can do that. He he

(46:21):
leaves stuff in the middle of the play too often,
especially up and in the zone.

Speaker 2 (46:25):
That's not good. He gets crushed.

Speaker 3 (46:26):
So that is that's something that's always played him and
it's that issue now getting much worse because he's losing velocity.

Speaker 2 (46:32):
Do we do we need him at this point? You know,
you've got you, You've gotta you got it. You have
a pretty damn good light, you know. With I loved
that Lozardo pickup. I thought that was amazing, and I
don't I don't obviously, I don't think he's gonna be
pitching this well all throughout the season. But this is
this is sustainable in a way, like he can pitch

(46:54):
this way. He's always had the stuff and he's picked
up on something. Whatever it was the Phillies picked up
with him, and that Hayes lose. Lozardo picked up on
when he was here.

Speaker 3 (47:03):
Uh, the short amount of time he's been here, he's
figured out something because this is by far like the
best start of his career. And look, this is a
picture that has shown promise like this at times and
now it's it's showing.

Speaker 2 (47:15):
Well, let's think about that, all right with Lozardo, Suarez,
Christopher San Saniez and Wheeler.

Speaker 1 (47:23):
Do you.

Speaker 2 (47:25):
Do you really need Aaron Nola now?

Speaker 3 (47:29):
And the fourth is always felt like a bonus with
every Phillies even last year with Suarez it felt like
a bonus.

Speaker 2 (47:36):
Okay, three or four?

Speaker 3 (47:38):
The first two are those have to be anchors and
the fact that they still might have that with Lozardo
and Wheeler is great. They definitely have it with Wheeler.
Wheeler is as a top ace as a number one
going into a series. Love that, but now that Lozardo
is maybe filling that role.

Speaker 2 (47:54):
Of a number two, yeah, I think Nola becomes a
bit of a bonus if he does get better. So
I again, I think there's A'm not putting Nola in
the number three. Good thing is you don't have to.
I'm putting Suarez because I know he's going to be there,
and I'm gonna put Sanchs to.

Speaker 5 (48:10):
Porn.

Speaker 2 (48:10):
Now, yeah, all right, Okay, let's see if I can
do this. We're gonna talk a little Phillies when we
come back. We're gonna get in the schedule. Exelon Health
and Fitness, located in both Voorhees and Audubon, New Jersey,

Jake Uh because herb and Uh and Judith are getting married,

(51:08):

you have any questions or concerns about the upcoming nuptials?
And Jacob's that don't worry about it. It's just a
few hairs. That's good, all right. So let's see what

(51:31):
a solid show for for years until until Charlie couldn't
put down the straw. Yeah, that couldn't put down a
lot of things. Yeah, well, I don't know. I kind
of still appreciate somebody that doesn't given us h number
one T give a little, give a little bit. Sounds
like a miniscule amount of crap. So we're talking phillies,

(51:54):
but we're going to change that here in a minute.
What else, what do you think Uh, we're talking Aaron
Nola and you're a Nola guy. I just think I
just think he's a he's a It's it's a conversation
of is he too much of a liability to have
in the the second or third game? Chris Sack, Chris Sack,

(52:14):
I'm curious because you've been a loyal supporter of just
about anything the Phillies do, and you like that Aaron
Nola signing. Do you agree? And if you're listening, call in,
Oh yeah, that'd be interesting. Actually, hello, Chris sa can
we can we call him? I can? I haven't. Can
we call him on the studio line? Let's do that

(52:35):
right now? Can you please warn him first? No, he's
just no, he'll answer the phone.

Speaker 4 (52:39):
The hell?

Speaker 2 (52:40):
Are you a blee Poles calling me?

Speaker 4 (52:43):
Ye?

Speaker 2 (52:43):
Well, let's do that right now. All right, hold on,
I have his number, I have his numbers. His number changed.
Everybody Philly's aficionado Christopher Sack to call him surprise phone
call right now.

Speaker 3 (52:57):
I'm gonna have the dial tone go out and everything. Please,
this show is so off the rails. I actually love this. Alright,
let's go Sacramento.

Speaker 2 (53:22):
Is Chris Sacked? Does he answered? The phone.

Speaker 4 (53:23):
Is he? Hey?

Speaker 2 (53:26):
Hello, is this Christopher Sack? You are on leads and radio?
How you doing? You're live on air?

Speaker 4 (53:35):
Bro Hey, what's going on?

Speaker 2 (53:38):
He has already done that once. They so no cursing? Yeah,
I already dropped then f bomb. Apparently you didn't even
know he did about Oh yeah, yeah, well thank god
you're not dis we'd have much more issues. Oh god, no,
he lives right by here. I should go by and
smack him. Does he I've been I've been working close
to where Diez lives this entire time. Oh no, wait

(54:00):
he is he still in Conchi Chris? No, yeah, no,
he's in autumn.

Speaker 4 (54:07):
Now are you in studio?

Speaker 2 (54:09):
Yeah, he's live in the flesh. Yeah, I'm I'm right
next to Quimby right now.

Speaker 4 (54:14):
I was expecting him to be pullside on Memorial Day weekend,
but I guess not.

Speaker 2 (54:17):
I was expecting myself to be pull side. And then
my cousin's kids decided that my cousin's kids decided to
get married. So you know, he sounds so happy. Yeah, no,
they're good kids.

Speaker 4 (54:29):
Man.

Speaker 2 (54:29):
I'm I'm I'm happy to be here, Sach. Question for you.

Speaker 4 (54:31):
Congratulations?

Speaker 2 (54:33):
What you got all right? So recent events would suggest
as uh, Chance and I have been discussing that we
love Wheeler as a number one, we love Lizardo as
a number two. We're thinking Sanchez three, Suarez number four.
And I would still like to ask why you liked

(54:53):
that signing of Aaron Nola.

Speaker 4 (54:57):
Well, at the time, I like the signing of Aaron Nolan.
Now right now, it doesn't look good.

Speaker 2 (55:01):
Hold on a second, Wait, wait, wait, what's different from
then and now? Because he was doing the same crap? Okay,
here we go, all right, all right, so I'm gonna
leave it open.

Speaker 4 (55:15):
Sanchez.

Speaker 5 (55:16):
Sanchez was not an established starter, was not an established
All Star at the moment when they when they chose
to resign Nola.

Speaker 4 (55:22):
So yeah, it was definitely out of nowhere.

Speaker 2 (55:25):
Hold on a second, Let me, let me, let me
rephrase the question. Sure, let's not talk about the signing.
Let's talk about why why anybody thought that he would
be any different from the time of the signing, from
the last couple of years to now. It's he's not changed,

(55:48):
he's not gotten any better. He's not he's actually getting worse.

Speaker 5 (55:54):
The problem with Nolay is not necessarily the signing. I
mean that's what the going rate is.

Speaker 2 (55:58):
Fore, I get it, but I wouldn't have resigned.

Speaker 5 (56:01):
It been one of the best in baseball lists, decade, best.

Speaker 2 (56:05):
In baseball, and what losing during pressure situations. See, this
is why I can't agree with you, quiment. This is
why I'm with.

Speaker 3 (56:13):
Good pro season performances in sax. Right, He's been one
of the best pictures, one of the most consistent pictures
in the NL for the past ten years.

Speaker 4 (56:20):
Yeah, baseball period.

Speaker 5 (56:22):
I mean, he's a workhorse every year. The fact that
this is the first time that he's on the injured
list for the first time since what twenty seventeen, which.

Speaker 4 (56:29):
Was his third his third base his third actually a.

Speaker 5 (56:32):
Second full season in Major League baseball. He was a
runner up for Cy Young in twenty eighteen, or he
was third in Cy Young that year. He was top
five in Cy Young just a couple of years ago.

Speaker 2 (56:43):
I mean, blah blah blah blah. I love how he
called you up, Sack. So what are you think about
the Nolans signing now?

Speaker 5 (56:54):
So I was kind of figuring when I saw iHeartMedia calling,
I kind of figured it was gonna be about the Phillies.
I didn't know it was going to be about the
guy that has not It's right.

Speaker 3 (57:03):
Right now, the number one team of Major League Baseball, quid.
He's just like, so, how about this Aaronola crap.

Speaker 2 (57:11):
You're welcome. I'm consistent.

Speaker 4 (57:13):
Their last loss they suffered was at the hands of
Aaron Nola, blowing a five to one lead.

Speaker 5 (57:19):
Since that point, they want eight in a row. And
here we are talking about Aaron Nola, asks so.

Speaker 2 (57:28):
We Quinny and I have been talking about it.

Speaker 3 (57:30):
So all this has to do with health to But
is is where what would Aaron Nola spot be on
a playoff rotation?

Speaker 4 (57:39):
Well, the thing is he would be in the playoff rotation.
It depends on what It depends.

Speaker 2 (57:44):
What do you actually think right now he would be
in a playoff rotation with four pitchers. I don't think so.

Speaker 4 (57:52):
Absolutely would be.

Speaker 5 (57:54):
Absolutely would be because here, and here's the reason why
out of everybody that would be there, because you need
to start four guys, so you're gonna you're not gonna
go Wheeler and then unless like Ranger, has an unbelievable
season going into a contract.

Speaker 4 (58:09):
Here.

Speaker 5 (58:09):
The thing is, though, is where would Rainger be more
valuable when you get to the postseason, especially with the
fact that you don't have Jose Alvarado anymore because he
can't pitch in the postseason.

Speaker 2 (58:18):
I don't think he'll be back this year at all,
probably because they would only be able to use ant time.
I'm fine with that. Alvarado has been part of the
problem too.

Speaker 5 (58:29):
Here's the thing, though, here's the thing though, you don't
necessarily like remember all those years with the Phillies couldn't
even put a left.

Speaker 4 (58:37):
Handed starter on the mound.

Speaker 2 (58:38):
It was always right five righties.

Speaker 5 (58:40):
Every single year, They've got three lefties in the rotation.
The thing is, I think Ranger at the end of
the year, again, unless he's unbelievable, he's better than Sanchez
and Lozardo. He is more primed to go to the
bullpen and help out the bullpen. Nola will start, because
that's what Nola does. That's what Nola has known his
whole entire career. But in the hot season, it's short

(59:01):
leash and you have two starters in your bullpen. Actually
you'll probably have three because Andrew Paynter will be available
in that bullpen, and that would be a hell of
a weapon.

Speaker 4 (59:08):
Like David Price in two thousand and eight for the race.

Speaker 2 (59:12):
I think that's the way to go about it.

Speaker 4 (59:13):
I like that that's how you play it.

Speaker 5 (59:15):
It would it would be Wheeler, Dan Chez, Nola, Rainger
Lozardo if Lozardo keeps up this unbelievable streak that he's
on the start the season, and then you would have
you would have Ranger in the bullpen with Tylan Walker
and Andrew Paynter. And there's there's your bullpen with Matt
Strom and Romano. Up until last night, who's been pitching

(59:37):
very well over the last month since he sparked my
ire O'Ryan charak Ring has been pitching very lately, even
though he's only throwing five pitches over the last two days.
I mean, the thing, the thing is is you got
to look at the long game here. The postseason doesn't matter.

Speaker 4 (59:50):
You're not expecting to get okay.

Speaker 2 (59:52):
I was just wondering if Aaron was going to be
in the playoffs.

Speaker 4 (59:55):
So he'll be in the playoff partition.

Speaker 3 (59:57):
Yeah, I I agree, that's probably the best way to go.
Eron Nola, can lease give you the first two or
three innings, solid baseball, first two or three in the posts.

Speaker 2 (01:00:04):
He's gonna get you. Then he's gonna give you a
couple and they're going to be down to one. But
it's the postseason.

Speaker 3 (01:00:08):
It sacks, right, it's a short least take him out,
and then you got Suarez and Walker to handle the
middle innings when you need that, or Andrew Payter or
and oh, don't don't talk dirty to me, don't talk
to tell you man.

Speaker 4 (01:00:20):
That's that's the deployment.

Speaker 2 (01:00:21):
What are they gonna happen? What about mick Abel? Were
you interested enough? Here?

Speaker 4 (01:00:25):
Here's what I think the Phillies did with Nick Abel.

Speaker 5 (01:00:28):
This is my That's that's the key. Why else would
you bring him up for one start to start on
a Sunday afternoon against the worst offensive team in Major
League Baseball. You make it look really good, you make
it look really desirable, and then you swing him at
the trade deadline for a bullpen arm. That's that, to me,

(01:00:48):
was what mick Abel was all about. They do not
want to get rid of Painter, obviously, Miller Crawford. Abel
is the one that you can sit there and dangle
like a carrot.

Speaker 2 (01:01:00):
All right, Well, I want you to leave your carrot
out of the next conversation we have, and uh, make
make make sure, make sure it's not bent, all right,
never bent Quimby. I'm talking about mister Peroni over here,
by the way. It was great and togsy, Chris. I
miss you. That was great.

Speaker 4 (01:01:20):
I've missed you guys too.

Speaker 2 (01:01:22):
I mean, geez, I love talking baseball with you.

Speaker 5 (01:01:26):
Well, you know you always have my number.

Speaker 4 (01:01:28):
I don't know why you don't just give me a
call and say, hey, Chris, you want to join us.

Speaker 2 (01:01:31):
He's too busy. He's too busy. He has and he
has great hair these days. I don't know, man, it's little.

Speaker 5 (01:01:38):
This is new.

Speaker 2 (01:01:39):
Yeah, I this was a I went to a barber shop.
I didn't go to Great Clips for the first time.

Speaker 4 (01:01:44):
Really.

Speaker 2 (01:01:45):
I get my hair credit, I get my hair cutit barbershop.

Speaker 1 (01:01:49):
Though.

Speaker 2 (01:01:49):
That's what happens when you have a woman in your life.
It's like you're not going a great wa woa yeah
breaking yeah, this is breaking news. Wait, could you could
where's that sound.

Speaker 1 (01:01:58):
Like of it?

Speaker 5 (01:02:02):
I think I can find dude Jansen's dating somebody.

Speaker 2 (01:02:05):
Yep, I should have said that, ye like, yeah, she's
you can't go to Great Cliffs anymore, so she made
me go to the can I ask you what his
name was. But but am uh oh, hold on that.
There's nothing wrong with that. I mean, you're lucky you
found Razil before you flipped over the fence. So what's

(01:02:26):
going on?

Speaker 4 (01:02:27):
I was just about to say, Janson's month is coming up.
It is chum up.

Speaker 3 (01:02:32):
I don't want to talk to you anymore, not just
I wanted to end on a great note, like, hey,
great talking base on.

Speaker 2 (01:02:38):
Chris, and then you do this this unbelievable awesome, Hey, Zack,
appreciate your brother. We'll talk to you soon anytime. A
great all right, man, you too, Happy Memorial of the day, weekend,
tell uh tell hello to the fam.

Speaker 4 (01:02:51):
Well brother, allright, go one, enjoy the wedding.

Speaker 2 (01:02:54):
Thanks, appreciate a nice Chris Sack appearance. That is a
good Sack appearance. You know what. Let's take a break
now and then we're coming back where we're sweat sweating
in here. It's a little warm, it's hot. Is it
just because you wasn't hot in here earlier? I am
a furnace, is your Yeah, you're just body heat radiating
off of these gray walls. It happens. Can we turn

(01:03:14):
the AC down? I don't think so. Really? All right, well,
let's take a break. I don't have a read on
this one, so uh. Green Legson Radio, Fox Sports. The
Gambler one two point five FM, Philadelphia, fourteen eighty AM
around the rest of the Delaware Valley, brought to you
by Cheerleaders Gentlemen's Club, Jansen Quimby in studio and we

(01:03:37):
will be back talking Green Legion road Trips right after.

Speaker 1 (01:03:41):
This spreads totals and all the prop BET's in between.

Speaker 2 (01:03:46):
It's the Gambler and Bucket. I love this song. You're

(01:04:19):
gonna hear this at the wedding. This is gonna be over.
Is there a band in the weddings? To?

Speaker 1 (01:04:22):
What?

Speaker 2 (01:04:23):
Is no idea? Oh? You're going in? Okay, I'm not sure.
There was always gotta be a band, right. If it's
no band, it's a terrible wedding. I don't know. I
always like DJ Tree, Okay, I like Tree. I like
hanging out with True She's a good time. But I'm
a band guy. I want I want to I want
to band it make big, loud sounds. It's awesome. It

(01:04:46):
is fun. A band is more fun. They're interactive. Yeah, anyway,
fallout boy, everybody Green Leegsy Radio, Fox Sports. The Gambler
one O two point five fam Philadelphia. Time to go
to Eerleaders, Gentlemen's Club, everybody Cheerleaders, Gentlemen's Club and Chansen
and treating myself. Maybe I don't know why I threw

(01:05:07):
you in there. You don't go to great clubs anymore.
I thought you might join us a cheerleaders. It might
be a lot of different haircut. Yeah, I'm just just saying,
just throwing it out there. Yeah, I've never been, so
maybe maybe this is there's a first for everything. Uh So,
time to talk Green Legion travel packages baby, because it's

(01:05:30):
a good time, man, It's a good time going straight
through from start to finish. H Kansas City. I mean,
come on, why you wouldn't want to go on a
Kansas City road trip, especially after especially after the Belt
to ass whooping. That's got to be up on the

(01:05:50):
list for a lot of people I would have. It's
not no, it's just it's not. It's just Fantasity's great. Well,
Kansas City is an act. It's a lot of it's
a lot of fun. I mean, but there's only really
one entertainment area, and it's called the Power and Light District.
We have that thing owned, but I guess it just

(01:06:13):
I don't know. You take over the hard Rock Cafe
at Kansas City. No, we take over nop no other
pub that's part of the live entertainment district. I don't
ever think I talked with you about that, because that guy,
the Washington guy in the playoffs, took over the hard
Rock Cafe in Center City, Philly. And it was like

(01:06:35):
the Washington guy, yeah, you know, the Washington Commanders. He
like did a whole trip and they took over. You
haven't seen this, no, because I was about to ask you,
like would you be impressed? And the hard Rock Cafe
is great, but it's just like, yeah, they took over
the hard Rock Cafe. You never see. You didn't hear
about this story? I don't care. Oh you really don't, Okay,

(01:06:55):
don't wow, I don't. But Kansas City, everybody, make sure
you get signed up every green Legion dot com. Go there,
check it out. Heard this Tampa once again? All right,
Tampa is awesome. And guess what, we're back at the
Brown Boxer as headquarters. But also, did you just book
this trip every year at the same time put just

(01:07:18):
week four in the NFL season?

Speaker 4 (01:07:19):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:07:19):
Just book it. I don't know why, and we'll be
at Tampa, but no. What's different this time than over
the last three years is that our major room block
is at Shepherds, and anybody that knows anything about Clear
Order Beach knows that Shepherds is the place to stay.

(01:07:41):
We have a very very nice room block there. It'll
go eventually, but we have eighty rooms eighty rooms at
at Shepherds right now, and we have overflow at the Dolphin,
which is only five hundred feet away. This gives people
that want to I don't know, if you're on a budget,

(01:08:01):
that's a better hotel for you. But we are back
at Shepherds for the Tampa trips, so make sure you
check out that package. And once again, our tailgate location
is just a fly bridge away from Raymond James Stadium,
as we will be at Steinbrenner Field once again. Steinbernerfield

(01:08:25):
is awesome for our tailgates.

Speaker 4 (01:08:26):
Man.

Speaker 2 (01:08:27):
This will be the third year in a row you
will have DJ Quimby performing after the Fox Sports pregame
show and also our friends from left Y Lucy will
be performing once again. So if you guys have heard

(01:08:50):
any of the feedback from our last few years in Tampa.
You know a band. Yeah, they're friends, longtime friends. Lefty
Lucy used to perform at what's the bar at Harris
in Vegas where everybody's flipping bottles has been there? Carousel Bar?

(01:09:16):
I think is that what that sounds about, right? Carousel bar?

Speaker 4 (01:09:21):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (01:09:22):
I'm gonna be pissed off if I don't figure this
out right now. Harr Is, Yeah, I think that's it.
Plaza Is that Carousel Bar?

Speaker 4 (01:09:35):
Yep?

Speaker 2 (01:09:35):
Hey me, they used to perform there. They were actually
a an opening band for Oh God, yep. Not even
gonna get there. I won't figure that one out, but
still an excellent package. Gonna be warm. But that's what
they make the ocean in the pool for, so you know,

(01:09:57):
cool off all day long. The next trip, we're gonna
determine this one, and I think I think we're gonna
make this happen Thursday, October ninth, Giants, all right, I

(01:10:18):
think this one is. I think this one's gonna be
a cheerleaders bus.

Speaker 4 (01:10:22):
I do.

Speaker 2 (01:10:23):
We're we're not sure yet. We won't have pricing from
the Giants until the end of next month, but I
think this one's gonna be a cheerleaders Buss, I really
do so once again, green Legion dot com, Green Legion
dot com, check out all the packages, the write ups. Minnesota, Minnesota.

Speaker 4 (01:10:47):
You know, I.

Speaker 2 (01:10:49):
Don't have a whole lot to say about Minnesota other
than you know, stadium is amazing, amazing and it's a
bucket list trip. So you know, hop on board. It's
not gonna be It should be a fun game. It
should be a fun game. I mean, you know they're
gonna win obviously. I just I love I just love

(01:11:12):
seeing our cornerback shut down, justin Jefferson, that awesome quinyon
just shutting down, the best receiving the league yet. Done,
can't wait done? And then of course green Bay. All right,
so here we are on Green Bay. We have twenty
six flights into Appleton left right now. They're connecting flights,

(01:11:33):
but they're good itineraries that get you within five hours.
It's what you're going to see. At this point, we
are not we are not going to charter another flight.
It is uh, it would be very difficult for us
to fill another one hundred and eighty three seats. But
in addition to that, it would be difficult for us

(01:11:54):
to find another eighty or ninety rooms in Green Bay
necessary to fill that the amount of people that would
come in on another plane. Now, hey, look, get creative,
find your way. You know, if you want hop on
those twenty six to Appleton, that Appleton's only twenty minutes

(01:12:18):
outside of where we're staying. And we're gonna get to
that in a second. But find your way, all right.
It's it's it's not it's not terrible. And if you're
you know, going, oh my god, it's too expensive. I mean,
this is what you're paying these days. You're you're paying
five hundred and fifty bucks with us for a charter.
So if you're if you're seeing six hundred on the

(01:12:41):
on the board to get into green Bad, guess what.
That's what it is. That's what it is these days.
Now it sucks. It sucks, but that's what it is,
all right. And it's also for a flight to Nashville,
and that was it's also it's also lambeau Field, all right.
Keep that in mind. Every package, every hotel package through
US includes a tour of lambeau Field on Sunday morning,

(01:13:06):
so the official tour. So that's a that's a bonus. Uh,
we have all of our tailgate. Uh, and pep Rawley
and headquarters situations figured out. There's gonna be announcements about that.
We are changing from the rest center. We are changing
from the rest center. We're going to be doing everything
with my friend Jess Miller at the bar. Just look

(01:13:30):
up the bar Green Bay. That's incredible. There's what's that
the bar?

Speaker 4 (01:13:35):
The bar.

Speaker 2 (01:13:36):
Yeah, uh, you can even if you want to have
some fun, just google the bar, pavilion, the bar, Green
Bay Pavilion.

Speaker 4 (01:13:45):
Uh.

Speaker 2 (01:13:47):
Yeah, it's it's it's it's good stuff. I'm intrigued. And
in addition to this right now, and I'm gonna tell
you this, and and I don't know what else we'll
be able to pick up. But as of right now
now we have eight rooms left. We have two hotels
in Green Bay we're using we're using the Oneida Casino,
which used to be the Radison, and we're using the

(01:14:09):
Tundra Lodge. You know what, Jansen, look up Tundra Lodge
before you look anything else. Up Tundra Lodge. Oh, there's
like a pole like poll thing in there. Indoor water Park.
Who with a bar at the indoor water Park? Get
out of here? Yeah, get out of here's gonna be

(01:14:29):
in my bathing suit in November in Green Bay's posting
silliest silliest photos of all time. The Tundra is also
walking distance to everything we're doing, walking distance to the bar,
walking distance to Lambeaux. Don't have to worry about getting
on a bus. You come over when you're ready to

(01:14:49):
get a pub. That's fantastic, right, that's awesome. Wait, what
was the and a cock dinner? Cocktail at Yukon Jack's
p for you Kon Jacks. Yeah, how sounds awesome. I
don't know. We thank you, thank you, thank you Dennis

(01:15:10):
Garrity from Events USA in Green Bay for helping us,
uh secure that hotel. Fantastic. Oh it's awesome, dude, awesome,
you played cool trips. Come on, man, always trying to you.
You're pretty good at this. I'm good at this, man,
I'd better be nothing means. And by the way, you know,
when we're talking about this, Stephanie Morgan, president and CEO

(01:15:33):
of the Green Legion, has been working her ass off
everybody Tuesday. Tuesday, she's taken a day off, so just
let her go. She's got a little procedure, you know,
she had surgery last year. Everybody, she needs a follow
up procedure and uh let her, let her, don't bother her.
Nobody bothered her on Tuesday. Just thank you, appreciate that.

(01:15:56):
So anyway, taking advantage voice on to take advantage of
the Appleton flights. Take advantage of the Appleton flights because
they are going to be the last flights that you're
going to get in. Now you can go with our competition. Sure,
I think the quality in is one of their hotels
and uh something else that's just boring. Sorry, it's there's

(01:16:24):
you know, not giving these guys grief right now. But
this is why you why you travel with us our hotels.
You're either at a water park or a casino. And
Theonetta Casino a lot of fun, a lot of fun.
The casino bar there is a blast, is an absolute blast.
So Green Bay, get signed up, do it, don't be

(01:16:49):
don't be a I don't know, I don't know, I
don't know. Dallas, Well, hold on a second, all right,
we got Dallas once again. Dallas is always on. I
can even I can be a test to that one.
I can give you the test. I absolutely love that trip.
How about that tailgate? That tailgate is awesome, out of control, right.

(01:17:13):
I had such a good.

Speaker 3 (01:17:14):
Time, and then even the it was luckily that was
a Monday night game, so the day before was fun.

Speaker 2 (01:17:19):
We just got to watch football and hang out all day. Great.
Where was that place that you had it? The restaurant
where the tailgate is behind it? Well it was I
forget what it was. They were so good, but it's
it's called boiling tails. Okay, nice? What's called that? When
I when I was okay, yeah, all right, very good
place it is now it is no longer the Bill

(01:17:40):
Bates tailgate, which is is you know, six and one
half dozen, but it is now Silver Star VIP tailgate.
And I always whenever this comes up, I actually feel
like I have to defend because there's a bunch of
idiots out there that don't have a what goes into

(01:18:01):
planning any of these trips. I'll say it again, if
Jerry Jones did a background check on his upper level
season ticket holders, he would lose eighty percent of them.
There there are that would be a courts dream. With
the amount of warrants that are sitting in those upper

(01:18:22):
level seats, the amount of warrants sitting in they're just
it's a bad it's a it's a bad element, you know,
is what it is. They don't bother us because they're
afraid of us. But having a tailgate outside around the
stadium is such a cool view of the stadium too
and everything.

Speaker 4 (01:18:40):
No, no, no, no no.

Speaker 2 (01:18:41):
What I'm saying is having a tailgate around the stadium,
not at where we are, not at where we are,
I find to be a little risky. I don't like
the element. I don't like it at all. So we
have our tailgate, thankfully from someone who allows as many

(01:19:06):
Eagles fans as we bring every year into his tailgate.
It is an existing Cowboys tailgate, it is, but you
know what it also is. It's also catered by Eddie Dean,
which is the best tailgate menu we have ever had.
Since two thousand and four, we have followed Eddie everywhere

(01:19:27):
he goes. In addition to that, twelve of Texas State's
finest are on hand to make sure that that element
doesn't exist. So I know my clients go in there
and come out of there safe. And to be honest
with you, it's a blast thereast It's awesome, man, It's

(01:19:50):
so much fun. You know, there's contests. They have big ledtvs.
If you can't get a drink or a massive plate
of food, you're doing something completely wrong, completely wrong. So yeah,
and we're in and we're in Addison. Our headquarters is
the London Earth. It's it's awesome, It's it's the Londoner

(01:20:14):
Londoner Rocks. And actually I forget the name of the steakhouse,
but the legs to which we will go to you
or go for you when we're putting together these trips.
There's a one of the best steakhouses in Dallas is
right around the corner from mar held our hotel, the
Marriott qualcomm and called them up a couple of years

(01:20:39):
ago and said, hey, any discount for members of this
group coming down. No, we won't give you a discount,
but anybody comes in gets free dessert. Yeah, so like
a cheesecake or something. Well, no, you you're talking about
desserts on a high end steakhouse menu. They are, you know,
fifteen twenty bucks. Okay, I'll take that. Yeah, So just

(01:21:03):
just just another little, uh, another little caveat to to
get you excited. But on that note, we're gonna take
our final break before the show's ever when we come back,
we are going to talk about the Chargers game and

(01:21:24):
what we have planned for you there. So Greenley Germainico,
Fox Sports. The Gambler, one of two point five FM
Filled with Delphia, brought to you by Cheerleaders, Gentlemen's Club,
Chance and Quinby in studio, and we'll be back for
our final segment right after this.

Speaker 1 (01:21:39):
If you get wager on it, we're talking about it.

Speaker 2 (01:21:42):
It's the Gambler, all right, everybody, Green Legion Radio, Fox Sports. Gambler,

(01:22:10):
brought to you by our friends at Cheerleaders Gentlemen's Club,
Jansen and Studio Quimby in studio here in Balakan. Once again,
a final congratulations to Cole and Ava Bechtel who signed
the signs on the dotted line today. They're yeah, now
you guys are in trouble and now you got to
put up with each other for the rest of your lives.

(01:22:31):
So good luck with that. Have fun, no congratulations seriously,
uh and uh, and enjoy yourselves on your honeymoon. You
guys are gonna uh, you guys are gonna love that place.

Speaker 4 (01:22:44):
So uh.

Speaker 2 (01:22:45):
Talking schedule road trip, I'm looking at your description for
the San Diego trip, are you reading it? Wake up hungover?
As balls return to Philly on and non stuff like, well,
there's a there's a small there's a professional organization. I'm

(01:23:09):
good with all of this. So our best trip that
we ever ran was two thousand and nine in San Diego,
and then we never had another opportunity to do it again.
They were by the time we played them again twenty seventeen,
they were at stub Hub Center, stub Ub Stadium at

(01:23:29):
in La and you know, just okay, LA's garbage, all right,
there's nothing about La. I like h garbage. I'm sorry.
Santa Monica's turned into a pit, you know, Venice. And

(01:23:51):
you should see how some of these they're flinging some
of these some of them are baseball swings. Some were
doing baseball sings. Yeah, yeah, that that was just a
base by the way, the camera the camera, uh, camera work,
the camera work on on fling golf.

Speaker 3 (01:24:07):
Yeah, so everybody, we were watching fling golf on ESPN
News And like the great thing about the su Quimby
is that the ball is nearly the same color as
the turf, right, I can't.

Speaker 2 (01:24:17):
See it, right, it's pathetic. Oh it almost State didn't
so anyway back to uh me hating Lah. So here
we are. We're we're in a We're in a situation
where we've already played in La two years in a row.
And what we're gonna do go back to Venice and
Marina del Rey and do the same thing three years
in a row. It's not that it's not that popular

(01:24:40):
of a trip to begin with. So Steph and I
were running through and and thought, you know what, why
why why can't we not go back to San Diego?
Because the only Chargers fans that are in existence are
in San Diego. They're not in La. If the Chargers

(01:25:01):
moved to LA at the same time as the Rams
moved to LA, who are you gonna be a fan of?
It's not gonna be the Chargers, It's gonna be the Rams.
So let's go piss off Chargers fans in San Diego. Plus,
we can go take over Mission Beach and Pacific Beach
once again. And we are literally going back to the

(01:25:22):
scene of the crime, the Bahia and the Catamaran. Those
are our hotels. We're gonna take over Mission Beach. We're
gonna take over Pacific Beach like we did sixteen years ago.
And then it's a Monday night game. You're gonna get
up and check out of your hotel by nine to thirty.
We're gonna be on the buses by nine forty five.

(01:25:45):
It's a two hour ride up to Englewood. There is
a hotel connected to our tailgate location. It's called the Lump.
It's a very nice hotel. I get it and somebody,
you know you hear Anglewood and you go, oh, well

(01:26:05):
that can't be too nice. Well, no, this one is.
And wow, that was a good shot. That was a
great shot. Did she just curtsy?

Speaker 4 (01:26:15):
She did?

Speaker 2 (01:26:15):
She almost hit herself in the head. Did you see that?
That would have been great? Greater? She knocked herself out.
So we have the Lumb contracted for a one night's day.
Busses pull right up, you go in. You'll be pre

(01:26:36):
keyed and drop your crap off in your room and
start tailgating. Now, the reason I said hung over his
balls is because Monday night, December eighth, when the game
is over, we'll be returning to the cork and batter

(01:26:58):
because it's my fifty fifth birth Oh wow, okay, we're
gonna we're gonna go. We're gonna go We're gonna get
the nuts. We're gonna get nuts, dance, We're gonna go crazy.
This shrip doesn't sound fun anymore. Trip sounds like a night.

Speaker 4 (01:27:15):
Here we go.

Speaker 2 (01:27:18):
Backwards, he fling backwards? These people are Could you imagine
you're on ESPN news. Hold on a second, just don't
don't don't judge too quick. This is gonna be an
Olympic sport next time.

Speaker 3 (01:27:31):
You're you're on a channel where there's some of the
best athletes in the world, and you do that.

Speaker 2 (01:27:37):
That's incredible. Mo. So he just missed it. I don't
face again. I don't. Here we go. Let's see what
this knucklehead does. Oh he flowng that well it is
fling golf. Oh oh no, no, no, com the competition

(01:28:00):
lives here. I just want to know when they're gonna
go down the water slide and fling a golf golf?
Is this?

Speaker 1 (01:28:10):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:28:10):
I don't when was this? When was fling golf made
a thing? I don't know what is happening anyway. So
that's the complete trip and best part because our flight
in UH is to San Diego. So you have a
NonStop flight into San Diego and a NonStop flight out
of La real quick. The fling golf dot Com calls

(01:28:33):
fling Golf the future of the fairway, founded in twenty thirteen.
I don't I know what. I'll tell you what. I
don't think they can back that claim, right, No, look
look at these hold on, don't say that. Look at
these finely tuned athletes here. God, this guy looks like
me by the end of a weekend. Yeah your gut.

(01:28:56):
So let's go through that again real quick, because this
one is my is my favorite. All right, NonStop flight
into San Diego charter bus to either the Bahia or
the Catamaran. We're going to be adding the Hyatt Mission Bay,
Hiatt Regency Mission Bay as well. That should be done
sometime this upcoming week. Three nights in San Diego Mission Beach.

(01:29:19):
Look at this, Look at us? Look look he did
it between his legs? What his legs? How can you
get that much distance on it? I could say something,
but I won't. Yeah, you're welcome that memo. Uh So,

(01:29:43):
three nights of either the Bahia Catamaran or Mission Bay
Height Regency Mission Bay and awesome parties uh peebe bar
and grill. Uh uh oh god? Uh yeah sixteen years

(01:30:04):
coasters uh Miller's Field. Yeah, anyway, excellent parties, great time.
Then your charter bus two hours up to LA on Monday,
getting you there by noon when our tailgate starts. One

(01:30:26):
night at the Lum Hotel, pre keyed, get your stuff,
get your keys, grab your bag, grab your bags, get
your keys, dump your bags, and go right to the
corking batter which is connected to the Lum for your tailgate.
Go into the game, win, come back to the corking
batter my fifty fifth next morning, hungover as balls once again,

(01:30:48):
and you're NonStop flight. And all these flights are not
read They're not red Eyes, everybody. These are all flights
that leave in the morning on Tuesday. So you get
home on Tuesday to Philly. So please please, what a trip, right,

(01:31:08):
It's just an awesome, amazing trip. Really is so good
for you. That's awesome. That's what I got. And I
think I think we can call it a day after that. Right,
Oh yeah, you got anything you want? Three o'clock. I'm sorry, Washington,
the the twentieth we are running. That trip. Sure should

(01:31:34):
be a good trip. I mean it's the first meeting
of those teams and games yeah, it's uh, we will.
We will leave from cheerleaders gentlemen's club. Buses will be there,
that's where they pick you up. We'll have catered breakfast
and lunch on the way down, with plenty of alcohol.

(01:31:57):
That's what our tail gate is, the tailgate, don't I
don't like setting up a lot tailgate anymore. I think
it's kind of silly. But we'll have plenty of beer
and seltzer when we arrive, So if you want to
not go into the game, you know right away. We'll
leave at nine o'clock. We usually get there by eleven,
so there's a good hour of tailgate time. And yeah,

(01:32:20):
we actually went with sideline seats, upper level sideline seats
this year, so yeah, excellent view of the game. And
it's obviously going to be a packed house now that
this rivalry is getting a little bit with nude. So yeah,
there we are once again green Legion dot com, Green
Legion dot com, and by the end of the week

(01:32:42):
we will have all of our home tailgates released at
Xfinity Live and I am happy to say that there
will be no price increase from last year. No price increase.
Seventy nine bucks for four hours of open bar and
uh you can't. I love eighty nine dollars if you

(01:33:04):
want state side surf side of yards obviously, and uh
yeah there we are so good stuff, man, good good,
this is great. Now I do have to make it
your way at some point, I'm telling you, man, don't
mess around. I'm only there until the end of the month.
And that's even going to be there when I get there.

(01:33:24):
Oh no, everything's going to be to be there. I'm
walking to an empty house that just had booze in it. Yeah. No,
well that pretty much. Yeah, I describe it. That might
That might be pretty accurate. But all right, let's call
it a day, everybody. Green Legion Radio. Saturday is one
to three here on Fox Sports The Gambler one O

(01:33:44):
two point five f M, Philadelphia, once again brought to
you by our friends at cheer Leaders Gentlemen's Club. Everybody,
have a great Memorial Day weekend. Be safe. Are we
showing next week?

Speaker 4 (01:33:58):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (01:33:58):
I don't see why not. Oh no, I'll be in Nashville.
I will not. Yeah, okay, all right, then we'll pick
back up until you want to crash my cousin's bachelor party.
I have friends coming down. Actually, so yeah, or I
would I should not have. Give me, give me an
excuse to get on a plane. Please, all right, everybody,

(01:34:20):
we love you. Go birds go birds go, phills go fills,
