Exchelon Health, then Fitness and of course Eat and JA
Mobile's cigar Lounge. Everybody, We're gonna get to the Giants
game in just a minute. I'm gonna start with Trey.
I think everybody wants to hear this topic still and
(03:56):
to go down the row. Trey heading about bred and
Graham coming out of retirement.
Speaker 3 (04:04):
You know he's I guess as a player that's gone
through it and you retire, you know, it's like you
live in the dreams because everyone leaves the game and
you feel like, man, if I had one more shot
at it, you know, I would love to get back
out there and play again. I personally feel that I
wouldn't have I wouldn't want Beg to come back and play,
(04:25):
you know, just because he left with two toring on
triceps last year. Wanted to win the Super Bowl. You know,
what else do you have to give? You know, as
a player. But I think everybody feels like, you know,
when I got one more shot in me, So I'm
gonna give it, give it a shot. You know. I'm
just hoping the best one. I hope that he has
a healthy comeback. You know that it's not something where
(04:47):
he comes back and then he's injured again. I want
to see him come back and be effective and be
able to give something instead of just kind of fading.
Speaker 5 (04:55):
Hey, Trey, I have a question.
Speaker 6 (04:56):
Is it something like he can't just say, hey, I
want to come they someone has.
Speaker 5 (05:01):
To ask him, right, Yeah?
Speaker 3 (05:02):
Yeah, you know I think that's something that how he's
gonna have to work that out. You know, there's a
lot that has to go around bringing BG back and
just with all how he has to practice.
Speaker 2 (05:13):
Wasn't wasn't this part of talks tray.
Speaker 4 (05:16):
Rumor has it that Howie and BG have been talking
about this all season a little bit of the O officit.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
Do we know anything about that?
Speaker 3 (05:23):
I have no idea when it comes to that.
Speaker 7 (05:25):
Well, Beg said this week that he actually never wanted
to retire. He just he was impressed upon that the
Eagles didn't have a spot for him. And I'm curious,
you know, going through camp. My first question for you,
Trey about that is does speak with some nuts?
Speaker 2 (05:39):
Will you? Is that how all players feel when it's
their time to go?
Speaker 7 (05:42):
I mean, man, I can still go, I can still go,
but it is the perfect time to retire and all
that stuff. I mean, once you're out of it and
you go, you show up for training camp and your
code still works at the building and it's like, man,
but I can't go in the locker room because I'm
not in a player now? Is that just some you know,
I don't want to say regreta man. Is that how
most players feel their first year out? I mean we're
(06:05):
only two months, you know, end of the season.
Speaker 3 (06:07):
Absolutely. I'm pretty sure Kelsey when he retired, he felt like,
oh man, you know, once you get out of training camp,
once you get past training camp and the season gets going,
you start missing that camaraderie that you had within the
locker room. But I'm pretty sure just like everybody wants
to come back and get that one shot, one more again.
But you know, for me, I just felt like, you know, man,
you already retired. You've given and given this, You've given
(06:28):
the city a lot. You know, I'm just praying that
he has a healthy comeback.
Speaker 7 (06:34):
Yeah, I agree with you. To me, it takes away
from the storybook ending. Yeah, that was something that we
all loved. And you know, like my last interaction with
with UH with BG was well we had the he
was at our tailgate or our Pepper rally party on
the boat down there in New.
Speaker 4 (06:50):
Orleans that Friday night and him walking off the boat
and he looks at me. He dashed me up and
I'm like, I'm like one more, one more, and he
looks at me. He's like, yeah, man, I got you,
I got you. Like and to me like to see
him go out with the two.
Speaker 7 (07:04):
And him at the parade and watching him do his
speech with his kids and tearing up at his press
conference where he retired at like that was the story
book ending. And I legit hope that the phone call
came from Brandon and not from the front office, because
I would like to say that he's the guy that
reached out to us and not the other way around,
because we were in a desperate situation.
Speaker 2 (07:24):
I think it was the other way around.
Speaker 7 (07:26):
I mean they were in a desperate situation, especially with
Zadarius Smith retiring.
Speaker 4 (07:31):
Does anybody know anything further about the reason Sadarius Smith retired.
Speaker 2 (07:38):
Maybe he just felt it was it was time. He
didn't want to do the grind every day. Well, wasn't
wasn't the.
Speaker 4 (07:45):
Land Camp the last interview he gave said something to
the effect of I've been in the league for twelve
years and i haven't won a super Bowl, and this
is the team I think that's gonna give me that real,
real shot.
Speaker 3 (07:59):
And then three weeks later, hey see it. Yeah, he
was like, hey man, I'm out of here. You know,
it seems what he finished sweat. He got five games in,
so this made it an a credited season for him,
so timing.
Speaker 7 (08:15):
But the other thing is with Tray with that is
maybe he felt, just like you said, if I had
that one more shot, and he did get that one
more shot, and he's like, ah.
Speaker 2 (08:22):
Man, you know, this grind is not for me. I
love game days. I don't want to do practice.
Speaker 3 (08:26):
I don't even.
Speaker 2 (08:27):
Games more than Frank Frank Gordon gave, not even signed
the paper verbal commitment. You just brought up the chip, Kelly, Frank.
Speaker 7 (08:38):
Isn't Zadarius Smith or leading edge rusher in socks and pressures?
Speaker 8 (08:43):
He was?
Speaker 7 (08:44):
He was?
Speaker 3 (08:45):
Because right now when you bring bg Bank, what is
he adding to that pass rush? You know, because everybody
right now is bull rushing anyway. So that's what you're
getting from Beg. He's going to be a bull rusher.
So can he stop the run? Can stop the run?
Speaker 7 (09:01):
It's always been great to stop on it that we've
been we've been leaking holes over there on that defensive
line with if Carter's not.
Speaker 3 (09:06):
In all right, all right, hopefully that's what he brings
to the table. And he's healthy man, and you know,
Nolan cats back. So so we'll see how this plays out.
Speaker 7 (09:17):
How many snaps does he get today? He's not getting
any today, he's not playing, he's not.
Speaker 2 (09:24):
Report on ideas.
Speaker 7 (09:26):
Too much, states too much, stateside bourbon.
Speaker 4 (09:30):
All right, So I want to I've wanted to ask
this question since well, since it happened, Uh Chris sacked.
Speaker 2 (09:37):
This goes directly to you. Uh.
Speaker 4 (09:39):
Normally when we're we're on TV, we're facing the other way,
but today we're actually facing out into the tailgate and
I'm looking at Citizens Bank Park.
Speaker 2 (09:48):
Oh jeez, and I'm I'm wondering, Chris, what what?
Speaker 1 (09:53):
What?
Speaker 9 (09:53):
What?
Speaker 2 (09:53):
What happened? Or did I? Was I inaccurate when I said, Commander,
how are you sing?
Speaker 4 (10:01):
Was I accurate when I said they didn't have enough
guns in the in the bullpen, too many strikeouts in
the lineup?
Speaker 2 (10:07):
Aaron Nola sucks? Where do you want me to go
with this? What did what did Aaronola do? I mean
the starting pitching he was there, I started, started pitching,
was fine. They didn't hit. Hold on, stop making excuses.
They did not hit. Yeah, fine hit.
Speaker 7 (10:23):
There's there's three things that the Phillies did wrong in
that series, and a lot of them. I'm just gonna
pile on top of the manager who is coming back
next year.
Speaker 2 (10:30):
Uh.
Speaker 7 (10:30):
Let's let's start with bringing out David Robertson uh back
for the seventh inning when he got lucky with one
album mix Monzi and then bunning with Cassi amazon second.
Speaker 4 (10:39):
When you had them on the ropes with with you
know when you're down by one Bunning in that situation
when Scott's had plenty of situations.
Speaker 7 (10:45):
Where he's been able to have big hits for us
in the postseason.
Speaker 4 (10:48):
And then Kirkering, Kirkering, Kirkering, Kirkering. Dude, I'm just saying,
you don't bring Kirkering in with runners on base. It
was the dumbest decision they could possibly make. I had
Game two World Series tickets.
Speaker 7 (10:59):
Okay, so sitting on my patio last night, and how
beautiful the weather was last night.
Speaker 2 (11:04):
There was a lot of salt, a lot of salt.
Speaker 7 (11:06):
I was very disappointed the fact that I was not
down here last night witness in Game two of the
World Series.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
But we march on, We march on.
Speaker 4 (11:14):
Moving forward, Let's talk about last week's game in Minnesota.
Speaker 2 (11:17):
By the way, Minneapolis is a dump, so much fun.
Hold on.
Speaker 5 (11:25):
Minneapolis is a dump. It's a dump.
Speaker 2 (11:30):
That's my super Bowl fifty two. And nobody, every single.
Speaker 4 (11:38):
Employee, a service employee, needs to go back to remedial
math class.
Speaker 2 (11:46):
When I say seventy five.
Speaker 4 (11:47):
Dollars all in, that doesn't mean okay, seventy five And
now taxing gratuities, which by the way, down there is
thirty five percent, twenty percent gratuity, forteen zero point three
to four percent sales tax, which a lot of that
goes towards the news stadiums that nobody goes to. So Minneapolis,
(12:09):
hey can't wait to see you again in six years.
Speaker 2 (12:13):
Suck it.
Speaker 6 (12:13):
That whole section was empty, that was across from us.
I couldn't not believe that.
Speaker 4 (12:18):
Yeah, and you'll need to sorry anyway, Trey, Yes, what
did we do wrong last week? Let's start off with that.
Speaker 3 (12:28):
What did we do wrong?
Speaker 2 (12:29):
What did we do wrong?
Speaker 8 (12:31):
What?
Speaker 2 (12:31):
What do you feel something sticks.
Speaker 4 (12:35):
Out for you that they need to work on again
and again and again and get get their crap together.
Speaker 3 (12:40):
I mean, I think that we just got to keep
you know, I thought that that passing game was opened
up a little bit, you know, in the in the
in this past game against Minnesota. I think that the
run game you just got to keep plugging at it,
you know, you know, you had to. For me, I'm
the type of player that I feel like you have
to pass to be able to run.
Speaker 2 (12:59):
And you know, I think they showed that shocking offensive lineman.
Speaker 3 (13:02):
But I came in time. Yeah, I came in as
a pass protector. So that's what I always struggled and
run blocking me personally. So I love pass protection for me,
but I like just being able to pass to run
the ball. But I think that's just showing what Aj
and slim Way but to do last week. You know,
it's definitely gonna start and loosening up the box so
(13:23):
that you know you can get the run game going.
Speaker 2 (13:26):
Go ahead, now, d oh, just make it come on that.
Speaker 3 (13:29):
Uh.
Speaker 7 (13:29):
A lot of these pass plays that were successful, the
big plays last week, it seems that they were either
you know they they were they were on the fly
backyard football at halftime. I've always been the propoean org
this year, man, let's see some pass plays from under
center so we get the play action working. And that
Davante passed, you know, everyone's talking about that at halftime.
(13:51):
DeVante is like, Yo, that's open. Yeah, let's hit that.
Speaker 2 (13:54):
Let's hit that. So they did.
Speaker 7 (13:56):
The numbers do show that it was a great day
in the air. But if they're all out of structure
and you need your players to suggest this is what
we should look at here in the second half. Faith
in the offensive play, the play calling, the game structure.
It's not all the way back there. For me, they
had a great game. Happy to win on the road.
(14:18):
It's have to win their great defense. But what do
you think of that the players kind of making the
plays happen as opposed to it being part of the
game flow.
Speaker 3 (14:27):
Well, you know what I'm okay with. Sometimes you know,
sometimes the player has a breakdown. You know, the defense
they're getting paid as well, and if they if they
have it shut off, then the players are staying active.
And that's one of the things that you want to see.
You don't want to see like the past. I can't
remember what game was when aj Brown stopped running and
you missed the big pass down the fever. So yeah,
so you know, as long as these guys are continue
(14:48):
to play, you see the breakdown and then they continue
to work to get open. That's what you want to
see when you're talking about these guys that's just trying
to give it everything they have. Sack.
Speaker 7 (14:58):
Now, for me, the past defense, I mean, I don't
know if it's if it's coupled in with the fact.
Speaker 2 (15:02):
That there's a lack of a pass rush, but the
coverage has not been good.
Speaker 7 (15:06):
I mean, you're looking at Ben but don't break is
what this is what this defense does, and they were
able to hold them the field goals last week outside
of the one touchdown they got lucky with the Hockinson call.
Speaker 3 (15:15):
Uh.
Speaker 7 (15:16):
But that that's what's bothering me, is the fact that
we're just letting, especially on the the opposite side of Quinnyon,
like like they are not doing anything that's preventing the
posing quarterback from moving to football down the field and
getting into points in the in the range to where
they're going to get points and added on to the board.
Speaker 2 (15:33):
That is a big problem and a big issue.
Speaker 7 (15:35):
I'm hopeful with Noel Smith coming back and Brandon Graham
joining the fray here that they're gonna be able to
get more of a pass rush, but that second cornerback
spot opposite Quinyon is.
Speaker 5 (15:44):
A big, big problem and I forgot to do this
at the beginning of the show.
Speaker 4 (15:48):
Everybody, this is Green Legion Radio to my left working
the board today, Super Sam Brady, how are you.
Speaker 2 (15:59):
On the other side?
Speaker 4 (16:00):
Bookending Chris Sackmaster sack attack Reggie.
Speaker 2 (16:06):
Next to him? Shut up, das Hey, let's go. Who
sounds like he's got something caught in his throat? Diggity,
what was that.
Speaker 7 (16:14):
What was it's still all in B's twenty minutes last night,
twenty point minutes.
Speaker 4 (16:19):
What the in the movie the other guys? What was
the name of the sex ritual they had in Will
Ferrell's car?
Speaker 7 (16:26):
Was that a movie before nineteen ninety Homeless the Homeless guys?
Speaker 4 (16:30):
Yeah, hold on, kitchen. I think it was the soup
kitchen or something. So anyway, that's what Diaz is suffering from.
All right now, and Eagles Hall of Fame offensive tackle
number seventy two in your program, number one in your hearts,
mister Trey time man, all right, big Tree, all.
Speaker 2 (16:56):
Right, right back to it, Trey, what did we do right?
Speaker 3 (17:00):
Passing game? You know, I thought you saw Jalen Hurts
come out there and he controlled the game. I thought
he did a really good job of finding the receivers.
You got a J. Brown, you got Slim out there,
Dallas got it. I mean, he had the perfect game,
you know. I think that that's when when you can
put this Jalen Hurts shows you that he can do
whatever it is that he wants you to do. If
(17:21):
you want him to be able to pass it, manage
the game, and hand the ball off, he can do
whatever you need him to do.
Speaker 2 (17:26):
DS.
Speaker 7 (17:27):
I like that short and sweet Vic Fangiers simulated pressures
last week. We're not getting pressure in the traditional way.
You know, with a quarterback like Wenz, he could certainly
make things confusing for him.
Speaker 2 (17:37):
I thought it was a nice will.
Speaker 7 (17:39):
The execution might not have been perfect, but I thought
that they they schemed up some defensive plays to get
those turnovers and that made the difference in the game.
Speaker 2 (17:48):
Zach, they won the game. At the end of the day,
and they won the game.
Speaker 7 (17:55):
They're they're five and two, but this has been some
of the most unsexy five and two football I think
I've been watching my whole entire life.
Speaker 2 (18:01):
They got a lot to do and.
Speaker 4 (18:02):
They better be motivated after that butt whooping they took
on Thursday night football.
Speaker 2 (18:06):
On a second, I just asked you what they did
right there?
Speaker 4 (18:09):
You go knock it off, all right? Love everybody back
in studio and battle Kinwood, John Jansen producing the show.
Speaker 2 (18:16):
Jansen, what did the Eagles do wrong? And what did
the Eagles do right?
Speaker 1 (18:21):
Yeah?
Speaker 9 (18:21):
I think a lot of the wrong just happens defensively,
especially with the pass rush. Like I know, secondary maybe
an issue, but it doesn't really matter if you're not
getting any pass rush, so I think that's a big issue.
What I liked was just the shots downfield. I think
there's still a lot more to work on with the
passing game. But the biggest thing that they have, and
what Jalen Hurts is really good at, is deep down
(18:43):
the field passing and they haven't been able to connect
on it, and they did a lot, so I do
like that. I like that they were able to figure
that part of their game out. Again, still some things
to figure out on offense, but that's the that's the
one thing that they have been good at before and
they really needed.
Speaker 2 (18:57):
They really need all right, ooh what happened to me there?
Speaker 3 (19:03):
Hello?
Speaker 5 (19:03):

We're brought to you by Prodigy Health our X end up. Jansen,
I want to come to you here real quick. Not
done talking about last week's game, but we're gonna put
(21:35):
a cap on it here real quick.
Speaker 2 (21:38):
What I want to talk.
Speaker 4 (21:38):
About is, first of all, I lost I lost my
mind at the last tail gate. I couldn't stop laughing
for a good three or four minutes because we brought
a kid on that was on our Minnesota trip, Mason Paul.
He's actually now co hosting The Unhappy Gilmore Show, who's great.
Speaker 2 (21:55):
Great, but apparently he's.
Speaker 4 (21:58):
Got a lot of love for Carson Wentz. And when
we started drilling him, I looked at his face. I
took a couple of photos and you could tell he
was just visibly angry. And then Jansen goes and says
exactly what Janson.
Speaker 9 (22:17):
I said that Carson Wentz could probably have some of
the greatest highlight plays that you'll ever see, but also
has the football iq of a tomato.
Speaker 7 (22:27):
Tomatoes giving him a little too much c a little
too much.
Speaker 4 (22:33):
Carson Wentz last week twenty six for forty two three
hundred and thirteen yards, two interceptions, quarterback rating of forty
five point nine.
Speaker 2 (22:45):
Did you watch did you watch There's a Night Football?
Speaker 7 (22:47):
Did you see him towards the end with his head
tilted Bear's cry into the store.
Speaker 2 (22:51):
He knows it's over.
Speaker 4 (22:53):
It's over the fact that him and people like George
Flocco get second chances.
Speaker 2 (22:59):
I don't understand this at all? Or did you just said?
Speaker 7 (23:03):
What was that?
Speaker 3 (23:04):
What was that?
Speaker 4 (23:05):
Joe Flacco looked pretty good? A couple of this is
George Flocco. That's the only Flaco Floco that means anything.
Speaker 2 (23:13):
George Flacco. All right, So.
Speaker 4 (23:17):
Uh sack that actually uh segues us nice into our
next segment around the League. Talk to me about anything
you you thought was fun, Tell me games you enjoyed,
Tell me what what do you think moving forward?
Speaker 7 (23:34):
I mean like that, I'll tell you what I did enjoy.
And this piggyback since a nice seguait for what we
got going on today.
Speaker 2 (23:39):
I know where you're going. I'm going to Denver.
Speaker 3 (23:42):
Yeah, I have to go to.
Speaker 7 (23:44):
Denver, and I know we're gonna have a little bit
of this later on in in uh Kaja. But what
happened last week with the Giants is one of the
most hysterical things that could possibly ever happen. NFL teams
had won one than six hundred and two straight games.
We're leaving by eighteen plus points in the final six minutes.
That was until the Giants, leading twenty six to eight
(24:04):
with six minutes left, lost thirty two, thirty three to
thirty two, which is great because they put in the
Ring of Honor. They put the Marius Thomas into their
Ring of Honor that day. Marius Thomas passed away a
couple of years ago. He was thirty three years old.
They scored thirty three points in the fourth quarter. Pretty
cool stuff. Wow, it was a wonderful collapse, a wonderful club.
(24:27):
Because Quiby going into that fourth quarter, I mean, if
you're watching that game, I don't know, if you're watching it,
it's like, oh my god, I can't have I can't
have this.
Speaker 2 (24:35):
Crappy he was.
Speaker 4 (24:38):
Yeah, Unfortunately you get to see any of it, Well, yeah,
you're Quimby, Yeah yeah, you watch it watching them fall apart,
and you're like, there's no way this is possible, although
it what is that one thousand, six hundred.
Speaker 7 (24:51):
And sixty two one six hundred and two two and zero.
And I love how Brian Dable blames everybody. He blames
everybody else but himself, Like I like, dude, look in
the mirror, Like all you have to do is just
tell them, Hey, run the football, Hey don't throw the football,
Hey make the extra point. Like, there's just so many
things that go in line. It's your pure stupidity as
a head coach. You're the reason why it got blown.
(25:13):
Don't blame anybody else.
Speaker 2 (25:14):
Shut up. Great stuff, Tray you want to add anything
to that.
Speaker 3 (25:19):
Yeah, it was interesting to see that that that collapse,
you know, because I didn't see the game myself, but
once I was doing some research, I had to sit
down and watch this again. To say, like, man, they
scored thirty three points in the fourth quarter is absolutely ridiculous.
Speaker 2 (25:35):
I do even have enough time to do that.
Speaker 3 (25:37):
Yeah, it was just absolutely amazing for to see a
team collapse like that. You know they're gonna come in
fire it up against us. I also like the piggyback.
Let's just are we piggybacking on the Giants?
Speaker 2 (25:48):
Right? Now it's just I mean, you could like, I
liked that the NFL find the.
Speaker 7 (25:52):
Team gay ball, and uh it's scannaboo scataboo boo at
Neander for going into the tent trades.
Speaker 5 (26:00):
Tell us, tell us to get what he told Sack
when he just went that.
Speaker 2 (26:04):
That what you call.
Speaker 3 (26:07):
Schatuble man. I like schedule though. You know, you would
love him if he played here.
Speaker 2 (26:10):
He looks like he looks like a character out of
the Plintstones.
Speaker 3 (26:13):
You would love him if he played here. He looks
like I like Schatable. I like the way he plays
the game. Man, he's what you know, it's a throwback,
running back.
Speaker 2 (26:21):
I'm not afraid for him. I feel like he's.
Speaker 3 (26:23):
Gonna he's.
Speaker 2 (26:26):
There's no doubt about it. I'd be afraid for his neck.
If he had a name.
Speaker 3 (26:30):
I think he'd give him six years, you know that
six years, you.
Speaker 7 (26:34):
Know, maybe two or three years of being effective and
hanging on getting them pension benefits, getting those a crude years.
Speaker 2 (26:40):
Yeah, there's.
Speaker 4 (26:44):
There's this massive difference in NFL teams, and I kind
of this is not me talking about how bad of
an owner what Johnson is with the Jets.
Speaker 2 (26:54):
Oh my god, how.
Speaker 4 (26:55):
Bad an ownership group The Haslams are in Cleveland.
Speaker 2 (26:59):
How bad of an ownership Bob Ford is Detroit.
Speaker 4 (27:02):
Hey, Bob, you got lucky here a little bit, you know,
caps good for you not talking about Shah Khan And
how bad of an owner he is Jacksonville.
Speaker 2 (27:12):
Not talking about Steven Ross, who.
Speaker 4 (27:14):
Might be the biggest scumbag owner.
Speaker 2 (27:16):
On the planet. Related to Sam no Way.
Speaker 4 (27:18):
Well, when you're telling Brian Floores to hey, lose some games.
Here's an extra hundred thousand dollars, a black head coach
where there isn't enough, and they're trying to make a
name and trying to get a reputation, and you have
this Richard bag you're telling him, hey, lose games.
Speaker 2 (27:35):
Are you out of your mind?
Speaker 7 (27:36):
I mean the fact that they had McDaniels there in
his capris and he's still he's.
Speaker 2 (27:40):
Still employed, still employed, still employed.
Speaker 7 (27:43):
It's incredible. Hey, I'm waiting for the Spanners. You haven't
even mentioned the Spanos family.
Speaker 2 (27:49):
Yeah, well, the Chargers.
Speaker 4 (27:51):
The Chargers seem to stay a little bit more relevant.
You don't see the Chargers with a pensions in New
Orleans who are now on in six on the season.
Steven Ross in the the in Miami who are on
in six on the season. Uh, going through this, the
(28:13):
Raiders Chucky get a new haircut, jackass all right, two
and five on the season.
Speaker 7 (28:21):
Uh, it's.
Speaker 2 (28:23):
The Jets wood he Johnson.
Speaker 5 (28:26):
How how does the league continue to allow this?
Speaker 7 (28:31):
Well, because what happened first off, the league is the owners.
I mean Goodell is just a figurehead for all the
owners collectively and just just it's not just with the NFL,
it's all these sports. If you they get you really
got to do something real bad to fortunately remove from
an owner because the rest of them don't want to
be in the same boat. You don't want to be
(28:52):
forcibly removed from your business that you own. So I mean,
as long as he's there, like let's go like fly is,
there should be there. There should be a review that's
done on these owners. I mean more so like baseball,
like Pittsburgh, like baseball is worse than the NFL.
Speaker 2 (29:09):
I mean, I've said it for years about baseball.
Speaker 7 (29:10):
I mean, you got all these teams spending money that's
getting filtered down to these lower market teams, you know,
investing in their own teams.
Speaker 4 (29:16):
It just seems that it's the same team. It is
every and you know they'll have the occasional decent season
and they'll make a run. Right but Washington, Yeah, well
Washington's gonna be a better football team without without the Yeah,
Daniel Sneider. But look, the Bensons don't know what they're doing,
(29:40):
all right. The Benson's daughter is an idiot. I don't
I don't mind talking about this at all. I've met,
I've worked with all these teams. I know how stupid
most of them are. But it's the same teams that
will have one decent season and then maybe a half
a decent season, and then will immediately collapse again. And
(30:04):
it's the Jets, and it's the Browns, and it's the Panthers,
it's the Dolphins, it's the Jacklarate, it's the Raiders.
Speaker 2 (30:15):
It is the same.
Speaker 4 (30:16):
Crappy ass owners that are just getting away with filling
their own ATM machines.
Speaker 2 (30:24):
You're right, I agree with you.
Speaker 5 (30:25):
There has to be some sort of review, has to
be some sort.
Speaker 4 (30:29):
Of The Jets put up six points against the Panthers them,
I don't.
Speaker 2 (30:37):
Know how you can be Jets. The best part was coming.
Speaker 7 (30:40):
I was an Upstate New York last week visiting the
in laws, and we're coming back through the New York
Thruway about to get into Jersey, and there's a whole
bunch of Jets fans that are at this rest stop,
and like they're seeing me and my Eagles gear and
I'm walking through and you can just tell how.
Speaker 2 (30:54):
Miserable of human beings that people are.
Speaker 4 (30:57):
And then then you see that kid. Oh my god, dude,
that kid after the game, he's like, I hate this life,
Like he was about to cry. He's like, but I
guess I was bored into this, like that bunch of
poor SAPs. Bunch of poor SAPs. Uh, Let's let's have
a little bit of fun talking about three specific quarterbacks. First,
(31:23):
Trey went the way in on what the hell is
going on with Daniel Jones?
Speaker 3 (31:29):
Man, Daniel Jones is out there on fire out that
Indy Huh.
Speaker 2 (31:33):
You know it's ridiculous.
Speaker 3 (31:35):
Yeah, I mean that just shows you, you know, sometimes
change of scenery is everything for a player, you know,
and he's doing really well out there. I mean, look
at what we did with Saquan. I think that, you know,
you go back here, the GM is probably kicking himself
with letting guys like that go or just having to
do some self evaluation and just saying what is going
(31:55):
on with our organization that these guys aren't doing this
having the same within our walls, but get outside and
they're all world.
Speaker 7 (32:04):
Shane Syken, Coach of the Year candidate, Shane Ssyching. You know,
there's two things about Daniel Jones. First, exactly what Trey said.
You know, they are they kicking themselves. I don't know,
he wasn't working out there.
Speaker 3 (32:17):
You move on.
Speaker 7 (32:18):
It looks like the Colts have a better infrastructure than
the Merror family does.
Speaker 2 (32:23):
But the other, I mean, it's it's it's not that hard,
it's not that hard to say.
Speaker 3 (32:31):
But uh.
Speaker 7 (32:33):
But I mean Daniel Jones is playing well. It's not
even like, oh, you know he's there, this stack team
around him.
Speaker 2 (32:40):
Christ's sake, the culture six and one, they're they're good
to I'm starting. I'm in first places by fantas League
starting Daniel Jones. Are you serious? I'm one. That means
you admitted to drafting. No, I did not draft him
while I was the last guy to get quarter. Yeah,
I streamed. But that's why I'm in first place.
Speaker 7 (32:59):
You know, I mean, he's you know, we we write
him off because we saw saw him do some dopey things.
But if you stay within, you got some good structure.
You stay within yourself. Jonathan Taylor is awesome. That line
is Blake great, and they got a good defense too.
I mean the culture for real, well, they do say
that you do grow out of your allergies, and I'm
just glad he now he knows not to trip over
the seventeen yard.
Speaker 5 (33:17):
Line, but Daniel Jones big be tripping.
Speaker 7 (33:21):
But I will say this, I'm largely disappointed that the
culture doing so well because I was hopeful that Shane
Stychen would have been fired and we could have brought
him back here to be our offensive court.
Speaker 4 (33:30):
Hold on sack Dad might be one of the most
awesome selfish statements of all time.
Speaker 2 (33:36):
Hi, now, the deal is, you gotta say.
Speaker 7 (33:39):
What we're waiting is for Mike McDaniel to get fired,
because McDaniel, I don't want that dufist not to run
your teener just to scheme up your offense.
Speaker 2 (33:46):
You would you do? You understanders? Not a man? I can't.
Speaker 4 (33:51):
Hey anyway, club getting distracted going to say there's not
a lot of gay coaches.
Speaker 2 (34:00):
In the league. They have to keep him. Oh well,
let's left the end of the show.
Speaker 3 (34:05):
You guys pushed me.
Speaker 2 (34:11):
You guys pushed me. While we're here. Who's the second quarterback,
Sam Darnald. He's playing well too. This is a true
you're getting to I talked about this last week with
some buddies, and we'll talk about it to the microphone. Okay,
So this is the deal. A lot of these top
draft to pick they obviously.
Speaker 7 (34:29):
Had traits, characters with physical attributes that make them at
the top of the draft the good quarterbacks. But there's
definitely a trend here in the NFL the last couple
of years with Baker Mayfield, Sam Darnold, up, Daniel Jones
right now.
Speaker 2 (34:44):
These guys Gino Smith, by the way, thank you, thank
you Detroit.
Speaker 5 (34:48):
We needed that w that that helps us immensely.
Speaker 7 (34:52):
But there's these guys that are drafted as the quarterback
savior of their team in the top five or whatever,
and after three or four years doesn't really like this guy,
doesn't it he like? They get let go and they
get picked up by the other teams, and by the
time they're twenty seven, twenty twenty nine, they're starting to produce.
How they were originally imagined to be. So, you know,
drafting a it's obviously the name of the game. But
(35:13):
these dudes, they get five six years of experience under
their belt and then they end up blossoming a little
bit later than what you expected. I just think it's
the fact. Look look at where they came from. Daniel
Jones with the Giants, good boys, Sam Darnold with the Jets,
high pressure situations, being Baker Mayfield, Cleveland.
Speaker 2 (35:30):
Yeah, being drafted high, being put into a situation that.
Speaker 4 (35:33):
Apply where you have to save the franchise, correct, and
like we saw it, like, it's not like here, Okay,
you're right, I don't mean to interrupt it, so you're
not like here, all right, you don't have to come
in here and.
Speaker 2 (35:44):
Save the franchise.
Speaker 4 (35:46):
And this is another reason why this should be a
goddamn review, because you have teams like the Eagles and
a bunch of other teams in the league who may
have a crappy season, and a crappy season for us
is five hundred maybe a little below, all right, Yet
you have these other teams that are just so lost.
Speaker 2 (36:06):
But no, no, no, so lost but sorry.
Speaker 4 (36:09):
No, these these players are drafted in they're thrown in
these situations by coaches that are trying to save their jobs.
Speaker 7 (36:16):
Like, look, that's what Dabel did with Dart. Now it's
worked out for the last month. He looks really good.
But how long is this going to last if you
continue to let him run around like Scataboo and like
like Gang bits Trey. He's got a massive something to
say though, like these guys, these guys are drolling the
concept instead of trying to avoid it.
Speaker 4 (36:36):
And to me, like the hits are gonna add up,
and we saw it add up. Dart got thrown in
the blue tent already and and they're trying to get
him out because Dabel saw.
Speaker 2 (36:44):
Russell Wilson throw a single pass. There's two things Quinn me.
Speaker 7 (36:48):
First off, we don't want to review because it's a
competitive advantage that the Eagles have. We're always gonna have
a good infrastructure there. I don't care if the Jets
and Giants are poorly run. I went the poorly run
forever the other So that that's that. That's number one,
like that's the key. The second thing is we saw
another quarterback. To talk about another quarterback, Yeah, we got
(37:10):
a third quarterback.
Speaker 2 (37:11):
We got to talk about third quarterback. He said, there's
three quarterbacks we got to talk about. We're almost on break.
Who's the other guy?
Speaker 7 (37:17):
Baker Mayfield A Baker Baker Mayfield was was MVP guy.
I mean they're they're really banged up there, but man,
Baker's Baker's great.
Speaker 2 (37:25):
He's a good quarterback. Baker's a stud.
Speaker 4 (37:28):
Yeah, and he was considering his path to Tampa. I
mean he was hit that shuffled man.
Speaker 7 (37:35):
He had that start with the Rams a couple of
years ago. On Thursday night they signed him, like Monday.
He comes out and I forget who they were playing.
It's probably the Cardinals, Uh but uh yeah, and then
they won. Yeah, and then they caught him. But he's
just a tough He's a tough s ob man like that.
That guy will take hit after hit after hit. And
you know what makes you tough when you're in shape.

Going to discipline school with Caesar Milan, a few obnoxious
chihuahuas and Matt Dodge.
Speaker 2 (41:23):
Jackass.
Speaker 7 (41:25):
Yeah, Matt Dodge, kick ass. I love Matt Dodge. I
think every Giants fan. We should award every Giants fan
with Matt Dodge jerseys. O greatest God, greatest Dad. Hold
on a second, wait, that would be hysterical.
Speaker 4 (41:38):
Hey, Steph, the next Giants trip comes with a T
shirt in Eagles green, uh and Matt Dodge's number on
the back.
Speaker 2 (41:49):
No, it should be blue. It should be blue. So
they think you're a Giants fan and he's no.
Speaker 5 (41:54):
No, we're thanking Matt Dodge for helping us win.
Speaker 2 (41:57):
Matt Dodge is a dumb ass. Yep, there it is.
You know what that's up under the show. He has
told me throwing the break that he forgot his second point.
Speaker 7 (42:07):
Hey, stop selling me out, brother, go the hou the boat,
all right, the boat photo, the boat photo.
Speaker 5 (42:17):
I don't know that kick ass.
Speaker 2 (42:19):
A week before the playoffs twenty sixteen, said.
Speaker 3 (42:22):
It's just going down to Miami, gonna get on the boat.
Speaker 2 (42:25):
That was the end of the Giants stray.
Speaker 4 (42:28):
Maybe you can answer this for me when it comes
to young black men, when you're in a very hot
environment eighty plus degrees, you're out in the water, why
they're wearing timberlands.
Speaker 3 (42:39):
Hey man, this is this environment thing. You know. You
just put on some tubes. I mean that was a
huge staying here in Philly, hold on tree.
Speaker 2 (42:46):
Woods to say something.
Speaker 7 (42:48):
Go ahead, because it's a wonderful shoe to wear anytime
in the season.
Speaker 2 (42:56):
Let's go on a boat in Florida, on a boat,
and I am you're wearing tim.
Speaker 3 (43:01):
I remember when I first moved up there, I'm like, man,
what's what the tims? Man? Like? Everybody tis like cats
sat down the basketball court hooping in tims. So I'm like, man,
what the hell is it?
Speaker 7 (43:10):
There's nothing wrong with taking a picture with your boys.
The fact of the matter that they're on a boat
and it's nothing but guys, it's a sausage. Best in
the photo, dumb ass.
Speaker 2 (43:20):
Chanson.
Speaker 8 (43:22):
I'll go kick ass, good photo and everything that happened,
great stuff.
Speaker 4 (43:27):
After the Giants have had the worst record in football
since the boat photo, hands down and by far the
worst record, and that includes the Jets, the Jets and.
Speaker 3 (43:40):
The Browns and.
Speaker 4 (43:44):
Going to the hair salon with Ben McAdoo. I don't
know the I don't have hair, So that's that's jackass.
Speaker 7 (43:56):
To think that the Eagles were considering him for the
job and he took the Giant Shop because the Giant
Shop was better than winning a super Bowl in twenty seventeen.
Speaker 2 (44:05):
Whatever. I wouldn't have won it with him anyway. We
all make.
Speaker 4 (44:08):
Choices, right, betching the two and nine teams starter Eli Manning.
Speaker 2 (44:15):
In favor of Genome Smith.
Speaker 7 (44:19):
Jackass, Yeah, kickass, I love all this stuff. Quit me
great lists so far. It's all new material to kickass.
It's dumb ass. You don't do that to a team legend?
Speaker 2 (44:30):
Is that a legend?
Speaker 3 (44:32):
He was on this?
Speaker 2 (44:33):
He stuck. You want to go with two super bowls?
Speaker 3 (44:35):
Want to go to this?
Speaker 2 (44:36):
He's stunk. He's stuck. Camfy's average, it's two super Bowls
to t super He was on the team.
Speaker 3 (44:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 9 (44:41):
I don't know if I can blame Ben mcau from
benching a bad quarterback, bad quarterback, the bad quarterback, Thank
you jameson right.
Speaker 2 (44:48):
Uh, just so you know, with that with that move, snapping.
Speaker 4 (44:54):
A two hundred and twenty games starting streak, second only
to Brett Farr. By the way, Gino Smith lost that
game and never played another snap for the Giants. He
shouldn't have played any other snaps for anybody else either.
He stinks on the Raiders.
Speaker 2 (45:09):
He's terrible. He played well in Seattle.
Speaker 5 (45:12):
Go on a motivational speaking class with Joe Judge.
Speaker 2 (45:16):
Oh my god, kick ass, it sounds like fun. Kick ass.
He's all bet out of shape. We ended up with
Devonte s made that game in twenty twenty. Joe Judge,
what a joke.
Speaker 7 (45:26):
Every coach that comes down the Belichick line has been
proven to be frauds.
Speaker 5 (45:31):
All of them true because they can't cheat anymore.
Speaker 2 (45:35):
That's true too.
Speaker 4 (45:36):
Go to drafting school with Dave Gettleman. I love that
trying to make fun of the nerds, and the nerds
are right the whole time. Go to balancing school with
Daniel Jones.
Speaker 7 (45:53):
Well, to be fair, that seventeen yard line goes across
the field, and he was a balance hold on along
the line, that would be okay, hold on.
Speaker 4 (46:02):
You know what The best part about that is they
turn the ball over in that next in that same
series and never scored. They never scored. I forget who fumbled,
but somebody fumbled. The best part was he stumbled like
ten yards. Oh yeah, he kept he wasn't going down,
kept going. He was just dude, there's nobody around you
(46:24):
at all.
Speaker 2 (46:24):
He was untouched. Well, we've all tripped over our own feet.
Speaker 4 (46:28):
But hey, everybody, you are a Giant season ticket holder
and we are going to appreciate you today. This has
been appreciation day at the Meadowlands. You get a free
medium pets.
Speaker 3 (46:45):
Ass.
Speaker 2 (46:46):
That's something the Sixers would do. Hilarious.
Speaker 4 (46:49):
They would put extra ice cubes in there too, so
they don't give you as much PEPSI Uh, it's a retread,
but it's always worth it going to the gun range
with plastic.
Speaker 7 (47:00):
Yes, is this the Encore already enough to show good
kick ass? It's been five years as we've done it.
It's still a classic Chris Shack.
Speaker 2 (47:10):
Thank you for this one. Tom Coughlin's face during a windstorm.
Speaker 8 (47:16):
That kicks.
Speaker 2 (47:17):
Oh my god, that thing turned back.
Speaker 7 (47:19):
Talk about tomatoes, back grass and tomatoes, kick ass, kick ass.
Speaker 4 (47:23):
I said top Coughlin Sunblock, but Windstorm is so much better. Yeah,
nice work trusting teaky barber to hold your baby. Oh
my gosh, you're a jackass. Then that dude, that's another mine.
Speaker 2 (47:37):
Yeah, another Chris Sack love it. Good job Sack.
Speaker 4 (47:41):
I think we figured this one out, uh together, collecting
unemployment with Matt Dodge.
Speaker 2 (47:47):
Oh that's that Dodge.
Speaker 7 (47:49):
We should get your you. You know I met my
last thing shouldn't be let's everyone get Matt Dodge Eagles jerseys.
Speaker 9 (47:54):
That's that's I feel bad that that guy is a
fellow East Carolina pyrate.
Speaker 8 (47:58):
You know, I can't. I can't stand for this hand
I can't.
Speaker 2 (48:04):
No, it's not hate, it's sure adult rating.
Speaker 9 (48:08):
So I actually my freshman year of college, I started
talking about that play and said Matt Dodge is an idiot.
Speaker 8 (48:12):
And it was one of Matt Dodger's friends. So that
wasn't great friends.
Speaker 7 (48:15):
That's something that Diz would say. Not the last time
you put your foot in your mouth?
Speaker 2 (48:22):
Thank you, thank you?
Speaker 4 (48:26):
Uh blowing a twenty six to eight lead last weeks.
Speaker 5 (48:33):
And finally thank you once again. Chris Sack enjoying a
coloring book with Cam Scatterbut.
Speaker 2 (48:43):
Wow, jackets I had some good ones this week. You
are on top of your game.
Speaker 6 (48:50):
I seriously feel bad for that guy.
Speaker 2 (48:52):
I seriously don't. All right, you imagine studying that guy's brain,
rensul It's gonna be so bad. Just mashed potatoes. Mashed potatoes,
that's great, Pike.
Speaker 4 (49:07):
My dad always used to say what he thought someone
needed to go on a dieaat mashed potatoes with a
side of milkshake. Eh, all right, you guys, I'm gonna
start with Jansen back in studio.
Speaker 2 (49:19):
Producer for us.
Speaker 4 (49:20):
Once again, to go to Sack d Diaz, that Trey,
that'd super Sam, And then I'm gonna tell everybody. I'm
not gonna give a prediction, but let's hear. Wow, let's hear.
Speaker 2 (49:31):
What you have to say about today's game.
Speaker 9 (49:34):
Chances go uh twenty seven thirteen Eagles, and I hope
Cam Skataboo gets his butt kicked today.
Speaker 2 (49:41):
What a weirdo. I don't like that guy.
Speaker 6 (49:44):
I don't like that guy.
Speaker 7 (49:46):
I mean, if they're not motivated after what happened a
couple of weeks ago, I don't know what this mat
has and knowing that they had to buye week, leave
it all on the table, this week. I'm a little
bothered by the matchup in the middle of Brett Toath
going up against Dexter Lawrence. That to me is the
key of the game today and just destroy Hi. Man,
I think Eagles by double digits. I'm not gonna give
a score, but they're they're gonna win by double digits.
(50:07):
To that, I'm a little concerned with the injuries on
the offensive side of the ball.
Speaker 2 (50:12):
No aj No Cam Jurgens.
Speaker 7 (50:14):
You know, Brett Toth and there not that great Eagles
win twenty four to seventeen, do not cover?
Speaker 3 (50:22):
Yeah, I'm with you on that one. I don't think
they're gonna cover. I think that the injuries, you know,
and no A J. Brown No, you know, I don't
think Jalen Carter's playing it either, So no Jalen. Yeah.
So you know, I think that this is gonna be
a tough one. I think we go in there, we're
gonna pull out to win twenty three twenty one.
Speaker 5 (50:38):
I want to I want to see Saquon get some ah,
there we go.
Speaker 6 (50:43):
I want to see Saquon show everybody that he can
still do this. And I want to say Eagles by
double digits.
Speaker 4 (50:50):
Uh, without giving a prediction. I actually want to ask
somebody to take this this question. Anybody concerned about the
Eagles inability to cover a mobile quarterback like they could
not do a couple of weeks ago.
Speaker 3 (51:08):
They've been struggling with that over the past couple of weeks,
you know, I mean, just.
Speaker 2 (51:13):
That's where they lose. That's where they lost the last game.
Speaker 3 (51:16):
Yeah, I mean when you had Baker Mayfield, you had
both Nicks, and then you had you know, uh, Jackson Dart. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (51:22):
Dark.
Speaker 3 (51:23):
You know, those guys can move around. You know, that's
hard to deal with when you're when you're trying to
rush and be disciplined with your lanes. So it'll be
interesting to see what they're going to do to handle
Dark because he's a very effective quarterback.
Speaker 7 (51:35):
With with being a little a little light on the
edge side. Maybe you line up Campbell on the side there,
you get.
Speaker 4 (51:43):
We were saying, I think somebody said this the other day.
You put Zack and na Kobe back in. You know,
you line up je Hot.
Speaker 2 (51:50):
On the edge. I'll be curious to see if they
line up they get that. They did that something during
during Minnesota.
Speaker 5 (51:56):
Anybody have anything else they want to say besides.
Speaker 4 (51:58):
The quick I'm thirsty and he's done. Anybody else, No,
I'm good. Go Berts, No birds chanceing anything you got
to say?
Speaker 8 (52:09):
Uh go Berts, Uh go Berts.
Speaker 4 (52:12):
