(00:25):
swing and dang it. Yeah, you know, just I guess it's gonna
go out there and trying to swingit and dang it. All right,
Hello and welcome to Swing It andding It and iHeartMedia Podcasts presented by Draft
King Sportsbook, where we will seethe line later in the program for the
Court Championship and also from sponsored byour friends at mals Chevrolet. We will
(00:46):
have a personal Mauls Chevrolet story withinthe program as well. First of all,
Danielle Welk great hoodie by the way, that's a tremendous lookie up going
on the Gulf Hoodie. Our merchstore link will be posted again or getting
that going looking good? How mayze, how are we feeling on this tour
Championship week? Well, it's almostmy bedtime, Moose and Greeney and Danielle,
(01:08):
but actually we're feeling pretty good.We got, you know, the
final event of the playoffs coming upthis week. It's kind of been a
little bit lack luster outside for acertain Sunday by a certain Norwegian that I
know we're gonna we're gonna talk about. But you know, it's football season.
I watched football all last night andI gotta be honest, that game
(01:30):
kind of got me juiced. Yeah. Well, if you if you're looking
at the picture watching a video.Obviously, Greeney is joining us this week
his annual appearance on Swinging and DingIt because we are at our family vacation
in Lake George, just a sliceof pure Americana heaven up here. And
then what we do is we reallylay it on thick for the first couple
(01:53):
of days, Like Greeny and Icooked pizzas on the island. We just
made tacos, we made pasta thenight before. And now we start bringing
in the golf rounds, right,So tomorrow we play Sagamore first thing in
the morning, first group out, seven am. Camp. It's like our
favorite round of the years. Sweepers. Yeah, oh yeah, no doubt.
I mean at first teach shot whereyou could see the lake. It
(02:15):
is it's incredible. It's like thefog still rolling off the mountains. And
then Friday, we're gonna play aplace that we found last year called Ticonderoga,
which is we're a little bit furtherin Hague. It's ten minutes from
us and just in such a funtrack. It's like literally on the side
of a mountain. Not super long, right, but just like great,
two great courses to play, likein a week because they're so different.
(02:38):
But that's awesome. Looking forward tothat for sure. But yeah, Harry,
you you brought up Victor Hovland, who my man with a record sixty
one. He was one hundred andthirty third in final rounds scoring going into
this week. Yeah, ten birdies, seven under par seven, they're twenty
(03:00):
eight on the back, comes frombehind for a two shot victory over Scheffler
and Fitzpatrick. Scheffler's having some issuesputting, but just what a performance from
Victor Hovlan twenty five years old.Yeah, it was unbelievable, and you
know it is, you know, kind of it was kind of shocking,
to be honest. I mean,I know he was hied high up on
the leaderboard to begin with, butnobody saw sixty one coming from here.
(03:22):
He had twelve threes on the card. Think about that. Think about filling
out your golf card as you're playingyour round and looking at it as you
get done with the eighteenth hole andyou've got twelve threes. That is just
incredible. I might retire if Iever knew that. I think that would
be end of it. I'd laminatethe card. I'd double you know,
(03:44):
Matt the son of a Bitch andput it up on the wall in a
frame, because that's it. It'snot getting any better than that. And
uh, you know, he getshis second win of the year, he
won at the Memorial. Now he'swon two BMW events, one in Europe
and one in America, and thenhe won all those tropical events that we
always talked about, like Puerto Ricoand you know, Maya Copa and all
(04:05):
these places that and the Memorial. So it's like you either got to drive
a BMW, stay in the tropicsnear sand and in green blue water,
or be related to Jack Nicholas. That's it for Victor Hovlin. Okay,
the guy's a monster. Yeah, not bad things to have to have.
(04:26):
No, how we do have totalk about though, Fitzpatrick. I thought
this was hilarious. I don't knowif either of you saw this, but
in the press or after they askedhim about and he goes, I can't
do anything about it about a sixtyone, but he goes, he goes,
I called him a little he did. Yeah, it like a joking
manner. I guess, yeah,oh yeah, definitely. Yeah, they're
(04:48):
gonna be Ryder Cup teammates. Yeahwe're gonna talk about the Ryder Cup.
Yeah, yes they are. Ihave concerns and I need to talk about
him. But you know, youhave Hovelin, you have Scheffler to finished
second, Fitzpatrick Rory, who's likeyou know, had been hanging around n
Homa. But Harry, what's Schefflergoing to do? Man? Like?
(05:08):
Does he have to read it Kenny, Kenny fix it this week with this
putter or is it have to bean offseason thing? Well, I don't
know. I mean, he hada pretty good round, he had a
pretty good week. I mean hehad two sloppy bogies which ruined his tournament
on eleven and I got a creditIan Baker Finch, which I will never
do until he does something really smart. And he did this because he called
(05:30):
it beforehand. He questioned him usingdriver on eleven, and he was right
about that because he hit it throughthe fairway into the rough and he ended
up hitting it over the green andmade a sloppy bogie on eleven, and
then he made a sloppy bogie onseventeen, I believe, and that was
the end of the tournament because heneeded to make you know, hit it,
uh, you know, knock itin from the fairway. And by
(05:51):
the way, Fitzpatrick gave it apretty good run with that too. He
needed an eagle to force a playoffand it came pretty close. But I
think Scheffler's okay. I think hehad a pretty good week with the putter,
to be honest with you. Youjust had two sloppy bogies, uh,
you know on Sunday. But man, nobody hits it better than him,
(06:11):
I mean scoring this week. Yes, yeah, the two shot he's
got a two shot advantage. Yeah, yeah. I have some really good
stats from our friend Jeff Ulrich atthe Fantasy Grind when we get into seeing
the line with draft kings to takea look. But you know, it's
one of those things, it's likeI feel like a regular a regular weekly
tournament. There's more about it thatyou talk about with this. It's like,
(06:32):
all right, we're onto the thirty, right, Like it's like,
okay, great Hoblin one, Roryplayed. Well, we're onto the thirty
and we'll see who wins this thing. So but yeah, I mean there
were there were definitely some implications thisweek. Guys that moved up a little
bit. Guys have got in apretty decent position, so we will see
how it all plays out. Numbertwenty nine Yeah, and Straka, Yeah,
(06:56):
he's got in spe Straka and hattHatting are the are the was throwing
clubs? Did you see him throwthat club? I thought I thought he
was gonna break that iron that hethrew. I think it was he was
kind of near a bunker and allof a sudden, I see him chuck
this clue. If you're one ofthose guys, right, if you're starting
even and the leader is ten underright, for a for a what's your
(07:20):
mindset? Like you just playing yourgame or I'm drinking. Really I'm drinking.
I'm starting out with with a withsome sort of vodka drink on,
you know, at the first ninehole. So there's no question about it.
Because I'm already making guaranteed money.Okay, true, I'm already in
there's no cut, Okay, Iam cocktailing. You're rolling out that fifteen
(07:45):
million dollars perse going a little transfusion, and I'm not beating those guys.
He's serious already. Tito's action.I like it so hairy. I see
that hat you have on, yeah, which which is one of our favorite
things. And we're hoping that we'regonna be able to get up there with
Danielle talk about what's going on inthe Scraton area coming soon. Yes,
(08:07):
sir, we have the NIPA Invitational. It's actual actually the third annual,
which is bananas because I remember whenwe were up in Pennsylvania just three years
ago and bes like, hey,I mean he's talked about starting, you
know, a pro am to getback to the general area of northeastern Pennsylvania
forever. And finally he's like, this is the year. The first tournament
(08:28):
we put it together and probably likeeight weeks. So this year we finally
have a new tournament director, soit's not so much just him and I
having to do everything, which iswonderful. We have a whole team behind
us in the field. This year'slooking incredible. A lot of guys,
a lot of pros from the PGATour obviously. We have Corn Fairy guys
and some of the PGA Tour Americaguys coming up. We have a lot
(08:52):
of local pros and support staff thatcome out. It's open to the public,
so anyone can come out and watch. You can see a lot talent
up there playing. We also havedinner with the pros Friday nights. So
I think there's still a few ticketsavailable. So if you had to the
NIPA Invitational dot com you can seesome additional details there. Tremendous. Look.
(09:15):
Hopefully we can get up there andrecord the podcast again live on site.
Check out one of my favorite lockerrooms the country. Oh yeah,
so we can weak into that lockerroom. Brandon raves about their showers.
He says they have one of thebest showers in the world. Their water
pressure, I guess, is pinnedto the floor. I had to roll
around to get out from the pressureof that shower. I was like a
turtle on my back. I couldn'tget up. It was incredible. That's
(09:37):
hilarious. That's hilarious. But yeah, this year. It's benefiting the Janet
Wise Children's Hospital. In the firstyear we raised one hundred thousand. Second
here two hundred and fifty thousand, and we're trying to double that again this
year. So awesome, that's lookingforward to it. Yeah, I mean,
Haren, did you you didn't makeit up the first time we did?
We were there. I was therethe first time. Oh yeah,
okay, yep. I played itthe golf courses guys and Sean. Yeah,
(10:03):
that was so much fun. Yep. And then Sean was our MC
for the dinner. So we hada great first time with the swing ending
in I are you know our radiocrew the first year that we were there,
So hopefully it can happen again thisyear. So Greeney, who's with
me? Now, Harry has alittle issue with his wife's vehicle and he's
(10:24):
like, hey, I need aChevy Traverse. I said, don't even
don't know, no worries at all. Here's Dante's number over at mal Chevy
And what was that experience? Like? Yeah, so so this is my
my second unexpected car purchase of theyear. So just think, you know,
nobody likes going car shopping. It'sit's not it's not the most,
you know, top top of yourlist type of thing. So I told
(10:46):
me she she totals her car.So got got a call over Moose and
say hey, can you hook meup with Dante? And he was nothing
but but professional, courteous, beenover backwards for us. Made the experience
so pleasurable, easy, and andwe just absolutely love the vehicle. We
actually drove it up here to LakeGeorge. Drives beautifully and it was just
a pleasurable experience. Nothing but greatthings to say about the people at mal
(11:09):
Chevy. Holds the car and you'dcall Moose. I mean, just think
about just think about that situation rightthere. But yeah, Greeney with the
testimonial, it tells you why foreight years in a row now mals Chevrolet
has been South Jersey's number one Chevydealer. Now, it could be because
they treat their customers like Greeny justright. But that's why mal Chevy was
(11:31):
voted top one hundred dealer in thecountry for customer satisfaction. But we still
think it has a lot to dowith that motto we sell Chevies for less,
find your perfect drive at maul Chevrolet. Visit mals Chevrolet on Haddonfield Road
and Cherry Hill right across from theCherry Hill Mall or online at mal Chevy
(11:52):
dot com. That's a great story. I mean, I'm glad your wife
is okay, you got the newvehicle, you get up there to Lake
George. Everything's good, right, everything's great. I mean, the biggest
surprise for me will obviously everything's everything'sokay with her. But I was on
a golf trip with my boys. The first five minutes that I get there,
I get the call from my wifeto say, hey, I'm okay,
(12:13):
everything's okay. But I got intoa little Fender vendor and so yeah,
you know that that put the weekendinto perspective a little bit, a
little bit too quickly for me.Yeah, we go see Dante, go
see the guys over malls, Chevy, Joe, Perry, they will take
care of you. Tell them thatwe sent you and you heard about it
on Swing and Ding It and gocheck it out. So, guys,
(12:35):
we like a good segment on thisshow, do we not? Yeah,
we have see the line right,We've also rolled out the course of course
with Ry Mays right. Greeny lovesthe course of course, by the way,
And now We're rolling out a newfeature this week called spilling the t
with d Hey, Danielle, whatdo you got? Yeah, So this
new segment going to be bringing youa little golf news from around the world
(12:56):
of golf for you know, PGATour Help, PGA Tour, dev Tours
Live, whatever it is, formerplayers, current players, much much more.
So let's just go into a fewthings that are going on in the
world of golf today. Let's startwith Team Europe is locked in for the
twenty twenty three Solheim Cup. SoCaptain Suzanne Peterson named her four captain spicks,
(13:18):
which rounded out So it's Selene Boudier, Charlie holl And. I might
have to have Harry correct me onsome of the pronunciations. My LPGA girls
here, uh, Leona McGuire,Georgia Hall, Lynn Grant, Carlota Siganda
and a Nordquest, Maha Stark,Madeline Sagstroum, Gemma dry Berg, Carolyn
(13:39):
Headwell and Emily Peterson round out TeamEurope. Harry stopped listening. Oh no,
I'm done. I'm done. Movingon from the woodmen, as we're
going to get into the first halfof the US Ryder Cup team is officially
set the auto qualifiers Max Homa,Patrick Camp, Wyndham Clark, Scottie Scheffler,
(14:01):
Xander and Brian Harmon. And thenspilling it to you a little more
speaking of Ryder Cup names and namethat we haven't heard of guys in quite
a few years. Daniel Berger's rumoredto be returning either at the Fortnite or
Sanderson Farms. He hasn't played sincethe twenty twenty two US Open About him,
Yeah, yeah, saw that onTwitter today. I was like,
(14:26):
hold on, let's check this.I checked the sources. Seems pretty reliable.
So we should see him at thestart of the new swing coming up.
And not so great golf news.PGA Tour player Eric Compton was arrested
in charge of domestic battery and strongarm robbery. He's facing felony and Mistermeater
domestic violence charges. Details of thatsays he threw his wife into a wall
(14:46):
on her cell phone into their backyardpool. So we're going to move on
to more positive things this evening, the pain Stewart Award was presented to Gary
Koke. He was a twenty twentythree Paint Stewart Award recipient In Atlanta this
evening. Our friend Brad Faxson isa former Pained Stewart Award recipient, so
I've been getting a lot of greatcontent coming in. So stay tuned to
(15:09):
his Instagram as well as the PGATours and check out that what's going on
there tonight. And to wrap itup, we'll talk about today's press conference
at East Lake Or. Jay Monahancommented on the PGA PIFF Framework agreement and
he said, we have to putan end to the divisive and distracting litigation.
We have safeguards in place to controlthe future. I'm confident we will
(15:31):
reach an agreement that will have apositive impact for the PGA Tour and our
fans. And I don't know aboutyou guys, but it sounds like the
same stuff we've just been hearing forthe past five months. And it's a
further that he just said he actuallypassed when someone asked him whether lived players
were going to be able to comeback to the PGA Tour. So that
(15:52):
is the end of our first spillingthe tea with d segments. There's a
lot of info there. I watchedGary Cooke's speech and it was pretty impressive.
I mean, I had no ideawhat this guy has. I mean,
I knew his stature in the gameof golf, University of Florida,
on the tour, and then hisgreat broadcasting career, but I had no
(16:15):
idea of all the things that hehas been doing for years for charity in
the Tampa area. And he wasit was. It was pretty impressive.
It really, it really is.And the pain Stored Award is is based
on three qualities, which is charity, character and sportsmanship. And if you
take a look back through that entirelist of recipients, I mean, he
(16:37):
joins the ranks of Zach Johnson andBernhard Langer, Hale, Irwin Steward.
Last year it was great last year, Yeah, Tom Watson, Ernie Els,
Arnold Palmer. Like I said, our guy Brad facts. And so
if you do take a moment yourealize what these guys do. It's more
so than just play golf. They'rethey're really great off the course as well,
tremendous spilling to tea with day.I love it. The main stay.
(17:00):
Now you touched on the Ryder Cupand I want to stick there for
a second because I put a postout I said, all right, you
have Homa, can't lay Clark,Scheffler, Harmon, Zander Nights enough guys.
But I need an alpha on thisteam. And I feel like when
you look at all of those guys, Yes, incredibly talented. I would
kill to play like any of them, right, but like and you look
at the DJs and the Brooks andeven Bryson, who could be like a
(17:23):
nerd but whatever, he's still canintimidate you with his t shots like they
Zach Johnson has some I think hehas the hardest job right now because is
he getting pressure to not add theseguys? Is he getting pressure to add
some of these guys. We don'tknow what's going on behind the scenes,
but it's going to be incredibly interestinghow this all plays out. No,
you're right, I mean I thinkthat alpha has to be. It's Kepta.
(17:45):
He's got to be on the team. It has to be. I
mean, he's got a six fiveand one record, which is not great,
but it's good, and he's justhe's a guy who won a major
this year, and he's got he'sgot a chip on his shoulder, the
eyes of a I mean a boulder, okay, because he wants to go
out there and grind people to dust, you know, especially because of the
(18:07):
live thing. I think Speth hasto be on the team. He's eight
seven and three career, and KeeganBradley I think deserves to be on the
team. I would put Glover onthe team as a rookie. Morikawa and
burns Or would be my team.Okay, I would leave off Fouler and
i'd leave off Justin Thomas. Eventhough Justin Thomas is sixteen five and three
(18:29):
in the Ryder Cup and President's Cupcombined. I don't think he's deserved to
be on the team, all right. I need to ask you though,
because you're going through these stats andI don't have it. I saw somewhere
on Twitter that Can't Lay is undefeatedin match play. Well, Can't Lays
three zero and one in the RyderCup. Apparently maybe he lost the singles
of match I don't know, buthe and Schaffle were a great pairing because
(18:52):
Chafle is three one and Ozer. It's crazy when you look at Xander right
like, the guy doesn't win aton now right now automatically in the Ryder
Cup, he's always this week. He's been top five all the past three
years. Yeah, in the majors. He's always there. The guy is
just like a he's a lurker.Yeah, but I would put Lucas Glover
(19:17):
on the on the team. Well, I really would on the team.
You gotta play the hot hand.I think. I think if Zach Johnson
puts JT on this team, there'sgoing to be from the golf community.
There's going to be an uproar, like it's a good old boys club.
You're not merit based anymore. Like, listen, he's playing well right now,
it's not you have to ride.He even like posted the other day
(19:38):
like, look, it wasn't theseason that I wish I had it,
kind of did some personal posts andwas like I'm ready to get back at
it. Like I think even heknows he doesn't deserve to be on the
team. Yeah, be good togive some of these other guys a shot
now. I was on Inside Golflast week and I said, I think
he will probably get on the team. I wouldn't put him on the team,
but I think he might get onthe team simply because of history,
(20:00):
his record in these types of events, and because of Jordan's speef. Because
Speeth is definitely on the team. And he and Jordan are such a great
tandem that there might be some lobbyingthere, So I wouldn't be surprised if
he gets on it. But ifI was Zack Johnson, I would put
Lucas Glover on the team. That'sjust that's it. Wow, boys,
the reason here on the swinging andding it pod right, that's right,
(20:23):
all right, Let's take a quickbreak and we'll be right back to preview
the Tour Championship. All right, and welcome back to swing It and Ding
It as we head into the TourChampionship at east Lake for the final thirty
golfers who are going to be competingin a steamy, hot it seems Atlanta
this week for fifteen million dollars andwe will see the line. Now,
(20:45):
do you want to tell you guys, Greeney who's gonna help us see the
line. He's kind of got aninside guy just so you know, we
call him the doctor, okay, and this guy has been got a prescription.
He has been hot, and Greeney'sbeen kind of riding him a little
bit, a little bit like Secretariat. He's been riding him because I'm going
to talk about some of his plays. So we'll get into that a little
bit, but Harry, you know, let me know when you want to
(21:07):
get into the course of course. But first let's just talk about the tournament
itself. Yeah, I mean, you know, it's it's the final thirty
guys. I've kind of been,I don't know, not all that enamored
with the playoffs thus far. Igotta be honest, and I blame John.
I blame John rom for this. He's played like crap for two weeks
(21:30):
in a row. And he isa guy who's fiery and is fun to
watch when he's playing well, andI love I love to see him battling.
And to his credit, he hasbattled even though he hasn't had his
c game, you know, inthese first two events. But Scheffler got
off to a bad start the firstweek. Now last week he played really
well and I had a chance towin. But you know, when the
(21:52):
top three guys are not all upthere, you know, at the top
playing, you know, that's whatwe all want to see. We all
want to see, you know,Rory, Speeth and Scheffler all going at
it, you know, with someother guys mixing in, and we haven't
really had that so hopefully we'll getthat this week. There's one last chance.
And this is a great golf course. It's so fun like that.
(22:14):
You know, I'll get into ita little bit later, but like it's
it's just this is the time whenwhen you look at the other sports,
when you look at you know,it was football, when Mahomes plays his
best, you know, Jalen Hurts, you're expecting him to play his best.
You know, all these quarterbacks inthe NFL, you're expecting them to
(22:34):
play at the top of their game, and when they don't, the games
suffer. And that's what's happening rightnow a little bit with this golf because
Rory's sort of hanging around and Cheffleris sort of dabbling, but ram is
really disappointed, and it's kind oflet me down a little bit. All
right, let me let me hityou with some stats real quick, if
you don't mind, all right. So twenty nineteen, Rory wins eighteen under.
(22:57):
He started fifth, he started fiveunder right back twenty twenty DJ twenty
one under, started first ten undertwenty one, can't lay twenty one under,
started first ten under twenty two.Rory twenty one under started started six
at four under, and we talkedabout Zander was top five all three years,
(23:22):
and then I talked about Jeff Ulrichfrom at the Fantasy Grind. Make
sure you follow him. Nobody's startingminus one or even has ever been in
the top five in this format, just so you know. So if you're
looking at YEP, every year someonefrom the two under starting position has ended
up in the top Five's great totake a look at some of those two.
You have Sun Jay, you haveTom Kim, you have Corey Connors,
(23:44):
you have se wo right, someof those guys that can make a
move. The worst the leader hasfinished in four years was T. Three
and that was twenty nineteen. Andthe last three years the leader has finished
on top or within a shot ofthe winner. So it is a top
heavy, top heavy tournament. Butthe zanderstat really like still out. It's
(24:08):
crazy. It's like, yeah,he's always there, that is why he's
there. But Harry May's it comesdown to the golf course. They're saying
it's gonna be hot, they're sayingit's gonna be fast hot LANDA Yeah,
I mean you know east Lake ClassicDesign, you know par seventy seventy three
(24:29):
hundred plus yards at Donald Ross jemTom actually Tom Bendelow was the original architect,
and then Donald Ross came in andgot all the credit for doing you
know, all the all the bunkring and so forth. Bermuda greens,
Bermuda rough Zoisa fairways, which I'dlove to play on someday because your ball
apparently sets up there like a mat. You know, you're just like shopping
(24:51):
it right off of a mat. That must be nice. Front nine is
on any courses up in our areathat have that, I'm not sure to
investigate. I think that's more ofa Southern thing because it deals with the
heat really well. Front nine ison the east side of Atlanta, the
back Nines. Towards the west. There's two par five's, number six and
number eighteen four par threes, numbertwo, number nine, which goes over
(25:15):
the lake at two hundred and fortyyards. They gotta, you know,
clear the lake, which isn't aproblem for those guys. The eleventh two
hundred and fifteen yards with a pondshort of the green. It would terrify
us. It doesn't. They don'teven see it. Number fifteen though I
can guarantee you they see two hundredand twenty plus yards all carry over water.
(25:37):
They are even petrified. I guaranteeit because it's late in the round.
The closing holes several tough par fours. The thirteenth the four hundred forty
six yard or downhill tight against theedge of the property. Then you turn
left and you go down the hillon fourteen five hundred and thirty four yards
tight downhill going down towards the lake. Then you got that fifteenth hole.
(26:00):
Then you come back up the hillfrom sixteen four and fifty nine yards slight
dog leg left, not an easyhole. The seventeenth hole fourner and forty
five yard dog leg left, bigbunker in front of the green. This
is massive bunker that you've got itclear to get to the green. And
then the eighteenth where you're coming backdown the hill, you're you're hitting a
(26:21):
t shot. You can't see thelanding area. You're trying to go down
near the water. And then yougot a shot over the water with a
well guarded green with kind of oneof those shorter bunkers that makes it looks
like like it's up near the green, but it's not. And then two
big bunkers right but there's a wayto get the ball in there from the
left hand side, but that holewill provide a lot of drama, and
(26:42):
I hope we have you know, something within a shot of the lead coming
down on Sunday, because it willbe awesome, great, great place,
no doubt about it. Our FantasyDraftKings contest is up and run, and
make sure you hop in, Danielle, you you fired in this. I
need to. I need to.I think I like the last two.
(27:03):
I'm gonna actually think go on rightnow and it's like submid something because I
need to get in, all right. So let's see the line with our
friends from Draft Kings, and let'spause real quickly hear fro about our friends

All right, and welcome back.As we continue to see the line,
(28:10):
and as we do when we havea guest, we go to the
guest first, and we talked aboutGreeney has a has a bit of a
guy that's been hot, right, and he's been getting some info from him.
So let's see the line for thetour Championship. Greeney what do you
like. Yeah, so, somy boy is is Scottie some some might
know him as Sendos. He's onthe Draft Kings. Yeah, see that
name on there. He's always upat the top. He's an m D,
(28:30):
not a do so he can betrusted. He's been he's been hot.
He's been hot. He he's uh, you know, he's got got
a couple couple of good guys.He likes this week. You know,
it's a little bit of a weirdweek with the you know, the staggered
start, and I, you know, I like to follow what he says,
but you know, I also havemy own opinions. You know,
(28:51):
at the top. It's kind ofhard to you know, pick a winner,
you know, when you have guyswho are starting so far ahead and
these guys who are even you know, better than than their average when they
when they come across on the youknow, on the four four rounds.
So you know, for me,I like, I like Rory. I
just feel like he you know,he's bringing it. He loves the course.
(29:11):
There. That's a crazy short numberthree thirty. The difference between Rory
and three or four guys down that'scrazy. I mean, you know,
because of the format, but it'swild three third, it is, it's
it's a good number. And thenyou know, for a couple of top
fives, I really do like BrianHarmon, whose game has just been you
know, on point these last coupleof weeks plus five hundred. And then
also Russell Henley is another guy who's, you know, not the most flashy
(29:34):
guy out there, but he's beenyou know, slow and steady, just
just makes it happen each week. He's a plus six hundred for a top
five. That's that's also Scottie approvedon those two picks. Okay, nice,
tremendous, I love it. Soas we know, Greeny's a member
over at the Great Green Valley, some of the good friends over there,
Coop Coop. They had a bunchof the guys that came over to support
(29:56):
us for the swing and ding itopen. You're tremendous. We had Factor
who was on pod right who whomade his debut. So you know,
green and I are playing solo forthe next couple days, but we played,
you know, we get to getsome rounds in with some of these
guys and Harry, I know youhave some questions about Factor. You kind
of went well, yeah, Imean I've been hearing some things, some
(30:17):
whispers you know, around the industrythat there is a Factor pod in the
works because he deems himself a hostand a guest all in one. So
is there any truth to this?I think it would have to come from
the person you're speaking to right now. I think that's where we would have
to be pushed out from it,if I'm not mistaken. There are some
(30:40):
rumblings, Yeah, they're rumblings.I mean, he made a good pitch
at the swing and dig it out. You know, he had his radio
voice on, he was ready togo. He did, I'll tell you
what though. Heck of a golfer. Yeah, he went up to bet
Page Black. He was in thatgroup that played that. He's he's just
as like he's good. He's juststeady. He's steady. He's got a
great swing. You know, sometimeshe gets in that slot as he told
(31:03):
you about, and you know whenhe's in that slot, you know,
that's that's when the true Andrew factorcomes out. Yeah, yeah, Yeah,
he gave me incredible I was havinga little trouble like right off the
green high rough, chipping the ballout. He gave me, Hey,
step a little closer, get thatclub more, a little more vert,
Yeah, hit off the hit itoff the toe, Yeah, popping right
(31:26):
out. Get that heel off theground so you don't catch it in the
rough. You've got that podcast hostand golf instructor all in the life.
It's incredible. I mean, theguy does it all factor. I'm telling
you fact money baby, love tosee money. All right, Harry,
how you seeing the line here? You've got some action in this one or
what? Yeah? I'm in I'min our fantasy contest. Guys, I'm
(31:48):
trying to do it right now.But you see at the bottom over salary
cap da, I have to redraft. I always do that. I pick
like just off the cuff, andthen I go back and like make some
tweaks that I think. I'm justjust admit so I have something in there.
(32:10):
Well I'm gonna take I went BrianHarmon one and done. Just say
you did yeah, well yeah,I had rom last week and he sucked,
so that that figures. I mean, luckily there was no cut or
he probably would have been cut.I'm taking Shaffle this week because he just
owns this golf course. Now hewill probably shoot you know, you know,
(32:31):
two under and finishing the you know, twenty to thirty. But I
took winner without strokes shawfle at plusnine hundred, and I took winner including
strokes Ram plus eight hundred, justto get some value out of those guys.
And I'm thinking, like Ram Rama'sdue for a week. I mean,
(32:52):
he's he is so pissed off rightnow. And I don't blame him
because he's played. He's you can'tfind fairways and and he's misreading Potts left
and right. Tom Kim in amatchup over see Woo Kim. I'm going
Kim on Kim crime Tom Kim minusone thirty over See Woo. All right,
(33:15):
a little Korea action, and thenI'm taking Harmon minus one ten over
Windham Clark in a matchup. Allright, I like it. I like
it. I think Rory's gonna win. I just I don't think I could
take him at that number. Ido think he's gonna win this week,
though, But you think about thedifference between Rory, who started at seven,
and Fitzpatrick, who's starting at fourunder. Yeah, or minus four
(33:38):
is four thousand, So I kindof like Fitzpatrick here, Xander. Why
would I not take him in thetop five. I know it's minus it's
minus one ten, but like, all right, you got it, you
got it. You know he's gonnabe there and can't lay You know who's
starting at at minus four at plussixteen hundred, you know it's a pretty
decent number. I'm gonna I'm gonnaride this stat that we talked about with
(33:59):
Jeff All. We saying every yearsomeone from starting minus two position ends up
in the top five, and I'mgonna go top Tom Kim at plus two
fifty to see if we can keepthat stack going this year. Here you
go, Danielle, what are youthinking? How's that lineup shaking out anyone
jumping out to you? Do youthink Scheffler gets it done? I think
he holds the lead or what youknow? I think I'm not on the
(34:21):
chef train this week. I'm reallytrain dating Scheffler. What is it?
Smush smushing bush, mush mush.I'll get it one of these weeks.
I'm still trying to figure out myline up here. I'm gonna have to
just pass right now. You're lookingto do on this bed behind me and
Lake George from a done the podcast, we're in jahos. Oh my,
(34:51):
that's a family vacation. Keep itin the Famah, exactly right. Oh
my cheeks hurt, No, mygoodness. Oh yeah, no, I'll
let you know. I don't know. I'm trying to figure it all right,
all right, now, your teatime is when seven am? We
are seven am tomorrow, Morrow morning. And you got all these naos in
(35:12):
you, Like when are you guysgetting up in the morning, Like what
we gotta be you gotta be outof Yeah, right, twenty six probably
up at six. You can finda seven am tea time. I'd be
up at four ten am. We'renot going to go to the rain,
like my stretches. I'd have tolike i'd have to Oh my god,
(35:34):
See you're not fifty eight years oldyet. Just wait till you get to
my age. Couple of spressos. This is vacation golf. You just get
you you're rolling out, you're rollingout of the car, you're throwing your
spikes on, you're on the firsttea and balls in the air. Yeah,
vac and were just the whole time. We're just dreaming at that breakfast
s andwich one. We're done.Yeah, that's awesome. We have a
(35:57):
great time. Thank you all right, great stuff. We will be back
next week to see what happened, see how it all played out. And
then there's gonna be a lot ofryder Cup talk in the next couple of
weeks, to see how this allshakes out. Captain Johnson has some has
