(00:25):
and ding it. Yeah, youknow, just guess, just kinda go
out there and trying to swing itand Dan, all right, Hello and
welcome to swing it and ding it. You are looking live. You are
looking live. Harry May's at theFox Sports the gamblers swing it and ding
it open, benefiting the Magical mealA Foundation. We've been talking about it
for a while. You're probably tiredof hearing about it, but we're finally
(00:46):
here. The rain held off thecourse looks incredible. There's an activation or
two out here that I see.I'm not sure if we set all this
stuff up, but it looks likeit's gonna be fun. Harry, What
do you think? Yeah? Ithink we're I think we're here for the
whole day. I think when doyou think we get out of here tonight?
And how about our co host flyingin for this from a PGA Tour
(01:07):
event in Kentucky. Straight to here, straight to Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
We are at the Legacy Club inCherry Will, New Jersey. Are
fine hosts who've done an incredible job. We have a full day of fun
and activities. We're gonna talk toJessica Rumberg from the Magical Meal Foundation soon,
against my better judgment, Andrew Factorfrom the clear View Financials a couple
of minutes. He's he's in thehouse. Yes. Ben York, who
(01:30):
is our winner of the Cassada Campotrip a couple months ago, was gonna
hop on and talk a little bitabout that experience. But um, listen,
this is a lot goes into this. But it's for a reason,
right, It's for a for agreat cause, which is the main reason,
but also some of our incredible clients, sponsors, friends, family that
all get to come out and experiencethis with us. So I'm pumped,
super pumped. Yeah. And youknow, like you said, the weather
(01:53):
held up. I mean, thisweather has been really dicey here in this
area for the last couple of weeks, and you and I've been pulled off
the golf course several times or somehorns. Yeah, We've heard a lot
of horns, but today I don'tthink there's gonna be any horns. Dan
yell, it's gorgeous, it's hot. It isn't gorgeous. And Harry we
had a side text message that said, if the percentage of rain increases,
we're just going to tell Harry hecan't come. Right, Yeah, you
(02:14):
keep me at home. I'm therainmaker, you're the mush. So let's
let's get into a little bit aboutwhat people are going to experience here today.
Right, you have um, youknow obviously we're we're gonna be here
doing the podcast, but also theDaily Ticket without Cheon Brace will be broadcasting
live from here from two to six. John Jansen on the microphe. That's
correct, right, one of thebest in the business. How about how
(02:35):
about the travel Like Wes Patterson usedto be a golf followed, now he's
a travel follows. It's about airportsand airplanes. And did you see his
woes already? No, this morningI didn't check. He had two flights
book to Philly yesterday, both ofwhich were canceled. But being the savvy
traveler he is, he had asix am flight to Baltimore books so he
flew to Baltimore this morning and heis now driving here to get here for
(02:55):
eleven o'clock. He needs his ownplane, he really, I think he
spends enough time in the air andhas had so many issues. He needs
somebody needs to step up. Yeah, and get west his own PJ as
we like to call it, right, I won't say what the girls,
Yeah, that would be very nice. Yeah, you have his own locker
(03:15):
room with what green Eminem's. Yeah, he has a rider. His rider
was very extensive, but he's worthit. You know, the guys send
drives and if you look right behindus in fourteen, that's where he's gonna
be sending drives. So what we'regonna do is he's gonna you know,
your foursome's gonna hit te off andhit their drives and then he's gonna send
one and you can play his oryou could play yours. Right, So
it'll be fun that that's this arearight here, if you're listening, is
(03:37):
gonna be a lot of fun.So you're gonna have ten, which is
a long drive hole. Yeah,Tito set up, and then eleven is
the Angelo's Pizza Hit the Spot challenge. There is an inflatable slice of pizza
in the fairway and closest to winsthe dinner for ford Angelo's in a forceom
here. Then when you come backaround thirteen, that's the mall Chevy hole
in one. Then it'll lead intothe Tito's and expendity a live putting task.
(04:00):
We'll take a quick put whoever makesit, we're gonna have a put
off afterwards. And then at fourteenyou go with Wes Patterson. Nice,
what are you looking forward to,Harry? What what the list is jumping
out at you? Well, thecigar rolling really got my attention. That's
right, I'm going to have.I brought my kit with me, so
I my own blowtorch and cutters, the whole deal. That's the aforementioned Andrew
factor from Clearview Financial or provided thosefor us, which is tremendous. Yeah,
(04:23):
that's that's gonna be a blast ourfriends from the stretch zone or out
there. So if any of youguys are a little loose when you're on
the range stretch zones out there, they'll stretch you out before the round.
So I think that's a good ideatthere. But I've hit many drives under
the influence of Tito's, so Iwould be very comfortable on the tenth t
and ry let's talk about that.We have the Tito's bar setup, we
have bloodies in the am, transfusionsduring the round and my favorite espresso Martini's
(04:46):
post route. That's right, that'sright, that's a beautiful thing. It's
going to be a long day andmost most outings have a long drive hole.
Right, how many do we have? Three long drive holes? And
it culminates into a playoff. Sowe have our friends from PC Richard and
Son My powers is here. You'rehelping us as always with some incredible prizes.
Brian Dal from the Dal team issponsoring one of the other holes.
Um and then reads water ice witha foursome to to Ron Jr. Warski
(05:10):
Golf. And then the three ormaybe it's two. Maybe it's one person
that wins them all, we don'tknow. Hopefully it's two, so we
have a playoff. I love themthough, like you have a playoff,
so three different holes and whoever hasbelong est from each hole then plays off
and went down here is soever?Yeah? Yeah, I love that.
The Ladies Championship will be held onten um and then so yeah, so
(05:30):
a lot of fun with that. And it's Doctor Glatt is the uh the
Long Drive playoff finale because everything growslonger with Doctor Glads everything. That's what
they say. Yeah, and ifyou win, you're going to get a
twenty twenty three swinging and thing itChamp head cover. It has not arrived.
It will be here um and afree custom suit from Roubini who will
be here fitting people and donating tenpercent back to the Magical Male Foundation too.
(05:55):
Really really cool. Yeah, yeah, the Magical Meal Foundation is set
up. They're accepting some donations andselling merch and and anyone that does you
just you're automatically registered for a fivehundred dollar range finder and they sign or
and we're we're gonna do two prizes. Chevy Chase signed Caddyshack poster and then
we're doing the flag later for agame. I'm looking at this flag here,
(06:15):
Moose Chevy signed that last the lastminute. You know a guy or
two? Oh yeah, you gota guy. Has he slept No?
Probably not. He got something fromDoctor Glad. Everything's everything's growing longer.
Yeah, very true. Right,Uh, DJ Reach Streets will be set
up on that right there, he'sa bit of a later arriver I've noticed
(06:36):
in my career of DJ reach jgive him a bit of an earlier time.
Nico, also from Quana two, will be DJing the patio for dinner.
The Kibbitts room has dropped off lunch, which is incredible. I see
Andrew Factory walks out here. We'regonna grab him soon since we've been talking
about him. And then the PizzaHut two man Chippin Putt, which is
the really cool thing. We'll talkto Ben York when he comes out too,
(06:57):
because the two guys that win thatare gonna each win a trip for
two decast of the camp on Wow, which is incredible, incredible, clear
path financial, closest to the closestto the pin out there on the course,
and then a final for ten thousanddollars sixty foot put afterwards. So
it's going to be a blast.Let's get where's mister Factor. He's a
stage right. Actually, let's grabJessica first and we'll do mister Factor after
(07:23):
the Great Jessica Rumberg from the Magicalmeal A Foundation. We want to get
a little update on what's been goingon since since we did this last.
She has an invent Or two comingup as well, so we'll talk about
that. Jessica, Hi, guys, welcome, How are you? Thank
you so much for doing this forus. You guys are the best.
I was getting very emotional on thedrive over and like, honestly, your
(07:45):
support means the world to us andwe appreciate it so so much. Well,
thank you. Thank you for comingout in the heat being a part
of it. Right. Not justthere's there's some places and people that will
just uh, you know, gladlyaccept and it's fantastic. But Jessica and
Dan our roll your sleeves up kindof people and they get out here and
to talk about you know, thelast time you're on the podcast, it's
(08:07):
probably two years ago. Talk aboutthe progress the foundation has made since since
we last talked. Sure, sowe are doing so much at Children's Hospital
of Philadelphia. We've raised five hundredthousand dollars to date since twenty nineteen when
we started. And basically our VPunder three project is a game changer.
At top We've been told that weare changing the culture at Children's Hospital of
(08:31):
Philadelphia and it comes to taking bloodpressure and children under the age of three,
correct accurate blood pressure readings are uptwo hundred percent because of what we're
doing. We've also set up emergencyalerts within CHOP system. They're called epic
alerts, so when a high riskchild comes in that needs a correct blood
pressure taken, a alert goes offin this system so that the registered nurse
(08:56):
or whoever is obtaining the blood pressureknows that this child cannot leave until an
accurate reading is taken, and sometimesit can take a while. UM,
So we have done that. We'veheld seminars, education seminars for the staff
at CHOPS, so nurses, doctors, medical assistants, everyone um within the
staff and it's a huge, hugestaff. UM. We've rolled out into
(09:20):
primary care, so more than thirtyplus locations CHOP locations where they are now
obtaining blood accurate bloo pressure readings onkids under the age of three. And
as far as events, we've doneso much more since uh you know,
let two years ago. We've wehad we had a holiday sipping shop.
We are planning a big ball comingup this fall called the Butterfly Ball Galam.
(09:43):
We have our annual Maynards event whichis coming up next week. So
we are expanding and hopefully at somepoint we'll be expanding into other hospitals too.
That's awesome and that is tremendous.Which, yeah, talk a little
bit about your why and how thiscame up, came about the foundation,
and you know, anybody out therethat's listening, how they could possibly be
affective if they don't already know aboutthis. Sure. So, our daughter
(10:07):
Mila was seventeen and a half monthsold when she passed away. She was
diagnosed at just a few months oldwith no fibromatosis type one, which is
a rare genetic disorder that can causea lot of different issues, tumors that
can grow all over your body, skeletal abnormalities, learning disabilities. But in
(10:28):
Miila's very rare case, high bloodpressure. She had vascular issues that led
to high blood pressure. So theAmerican Academy of Pediatrics they don't recommend.
They basically their guidelines are, youdon't need your blood pressure taken until you're
three years old unless your high risk. Now we agree with that totally.
The problem is those kids under threethat need their blood pressure taken or again
(10:52):
it's not being done. And wewere you know, Mila was the classic
example of that, we didn't knowthat she had high blood pressure until she
was fourteen months old. And thisisn't just in kids with NF one.
This isn't kids who have had organtransplants, cancer, born prematurely. This
affects so many different conditions. Soif your child falls under this umbrella,
(11:16):
they need to be getting an accurateblood pressure. You need to advocate for
your child. And we're you know, proof of you know, doctors will
say, you know, okay,we'll get it next time. Can't let
that happen. You gotta can't leavethe hospital without getting a blood pressure reading.
And so we have funded equipment that'sit's new equipment where it takes the
(11:37):
blood pressure on the way up insteadof the way down, so it's not
painful for kids. They don't screamand cry, and they are for no
false readings. So wonderful. Yeah, incredible, Yeah, And as just
said, right, this is somethingthat could affect anyone, right and even
if it doesn't today, you canaffect anyone for someone you know today tomorrow,
year from now. So incredible work. Talk about how people can find
(11:58):
out more about you guys, andoffered to help or assistant anyway yeah,
um, I guess the best wayis through social media. Um. We're
on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, also our website Magical Mela Foundation dot org
um, and that's the best wayto get to us. Awesome. Well,
thank you so much. You haveour unwavering support forever. So yeah,
we're here, Thank you, Thankyou. Jess. We're gonna have
(12:20):
Andrew Factor come on and join usnow, thank you so much. As
we're people are filing in here,Harry, people are registering. We have
a gift from our friends at levLane of a speaker and some T shirts
and that's right. Swinge on there. Factor's got the classic foot joy look
working. He's a classic man, classic gentleman for those headphones on there.
(12:43):
Welcome to swing it and ding it. Andrew Factor clearable with financial How are
you doing good? How are yougood? The tents falling on it?
Oh my god. We have afull staff here to help with that somehow.
That's my fault, I know itis. How did you know that?
Was it going to happen with withmister Factor? So Factor we talked
about we have uh, we haveour friends from the mobile Cigar Loungs coming
up. Curtsying you. Thank youvery much. Who welco holding cigars for
(13:05):
us? Thank you for so much. What else are you looking forward to
with this? This? Who area tournament? So look, I'm I'm
looking to go low. Yeah,I got a good group today. Yeah,
mix of handicaps which I know isn'tcoming to play, but you know,
you let those guys put it rightdown the middle. Then you get
a little swing and ding it,rip it, you know. But here's
here's the key. First of all, let me ask you this question.
Can you curse on this podcast?Um, we'd rather not because we're gonna
(13:26):
reared on the radio. We do. Oh okay, then I can't say
some other things either, Um okay. So here's the thing today. Today's
about being in the slot. Andyeah, if you're in the slot and
it, you know, takes acouple of those spiked Arnold palmers, maybe
some beer from the boys or workhorsets titos, you mix all those together.
That's the slot you're right in.And thank you for mentioning our perfect
(13:48):
mix. Of course doesn't get anybetter in drive response. Now, will
there be any action within your grouplike that's between guys? That's a good
question. We got, We gotMurph from Jersey who's been known to,
uh, you know, pick acouple of college football games. Pretty well,
my guess is he's gonna be settingsome lines closest to the pin over
under, distance doesn't matter. Ifthere's a challenge on the whole, we'll
(14:09):
we'll be bet. Okay, itis Fox More Scandal and you're it's gonna
be do what he did there?Yeah, over over under fairways hit for
our group, I'm gonna set thelines at twelve, all right, Sean
Brace, I'll get that out.Over socials, we'll see if we can
get some both that. So inin a few hours where you're not playing
golf, talk about clear befinancial andwhat you do for oh BO for people
(14:30):
in the world to help them.Oh boy, I was not ready for
this softball question. Um yeah,Look, we do financial planning, investment
advice. Um. Really, anytimeI'm on the radio, I'm supposed to
get it pre approved by my complianceteam. So I'm trying not to have
the sec audit me by talking aboutanything. You know, I haven't really
gone through the compliance channels appropriately, but we do a lot of really nice
(14:50):
things. No one listens to thisanyway, yeah, yeah, so we're
we're good at what we do.Give me a call your boy at Andrew
Factor on Twitter. I'm not outon threads yet. I'm holding out.
It just seems like they're talking alot about who's on it, and then
nobody will ever give me the activedaily users. Then we'll talk since your
groups here, do you have anythingpositive or negative to say about the group
(15:11):
that you'll be playing with today Alayership or form, I would say mostly
negative. Yes, Um, it'seasy. A lot of high handicappers.
I'm looking at over here. Youknow, look, it's it's a solid
mix. Good news is I gota doctor. He's a pain management doctor.
In my group, I might accidentallytrip and fall and you know,
get a prescription or two. Whilewe're out there. We'll see what happened
in attorney in your group too.A couple attorneys. I'll sue this place,
(15:35):
I hope. Is anybody here fromthe Legacy club? You guys up
to date on your insurance policy. You'll own this place before the end of
it. We're ready to go.Yeah, this guy's worried about sue and
he's doing SEC violation. Here's myother attorney too, How are things Green
Valley counselor I'll tell you what youguys have hat coup on the podcast a
few times, Um, which Ithink all the boys at the club love
listening to. We love Coop Um. Of course is playing phenomenal. Are
(15:58):
Superintendent has done a killer job.We got a new bunker project that was
installed last year. Had a littlebit of issues this year with the balls
plugging, but the team was onit. They sent a really nice email
recap and everybody this week. Soyeah, of course he's playing great.
Hosting a couple uh couple PGA sortof like I think they're either kids tournaments
or dull tournus this year. Soyeah, we're stepping our game up.
Nice it well, listen, thankyou for your supports for sponsoring this.
(16:22):
Great to see you. We're gonnahave a day and a night excited.
This will not be a short round. Love you all very much. We'd
love to be a recurring guest.Thank you. We'll see how it comes.
Andrew factor everybody up. You knowwhat, I hate this money while
he's here, he's gonna hear this, but he's a natural. Oh yeah,
I was good. Nice take myjob, you boy. He's been
telling me that for three years. But yeah, I guess, I guess
(16:44):
he is. I guess. So, guys, the way this works is,
and this is basically because I didn'thave enough prizing, right, So
the top ten foursomes plus ties,we'll be able to sign up in groups
of two to compete in the pizzahut chip and put. So one guy
chips from over the water on eight, the other guy puts it in and
both of those guys are going towin trips to Casta to Campo. And
(17:04):
if you guys remember a couple monthsago we had a trip giveaway and Ben
York is here who actually won thetrip to Casta the Campo. Ben,
how was that trip? I'll tellyou, um what a place I My
wife and I travel quite a bit, whether it's golf destination or just somewhere
tropical. Um. The thing Ican say about costs at the Campo is
(17:25):
that it has something for everyone. It really does. Whether you want to
bring the kids, you don't wantto bring the kids. Uh, it
really has something for everyone. Howthe golf, Yeah, I was going
to say the unfortunately teeth the dogwas closed, but I played. Just
what you have to go back um. And you know it's a good place
(17:45):
when you're still there and you're alreadytalking about coming back, right, so
more to do and more to enjoy? Well, what's that other do that?
It's incredible? Yeah. Did youtake advantage of any of the skeet
shooting or horseback riding? Yeah?No I didn't. Um. I was
on the course three of the fivedays that I was there, so any
(18:06):
any time outside of that, wewere at the beach. How cool is
it? Ben? Like it isa city, right, Like you get
there, you are in cast ofthe Campo is its own city. There
at hospital. You get a golfcart, not the one that you use
for golf, but that takes you. You drive it all around because it
might be like a ten minute rideto the beach. But it's incredible and
like the beach is the food.I mean, I can't say enough about
it. You get a different cart, yea. Yeah, you don't want
to dirty up your your dinner cart, right, Yeah, it's very true.
(18:30):
As soon as you get there, you get your cart and that's all
you need the entire time that you'rethere. Seven thousand acres. Wow,
incredible, it's a compound, itis. Yeah, it Is. They
have their own gas station. SoBen is a member here at Legis Club
and it is really cool. Someof the guys, you know, think
about it. These guys pay dues, they pay you know to play here,
but they still signed up to playin our outing, which is incredible.
We appreciate the support. Ben.Give you a chance to talk about
(18:51):
your group. What do you thinkgoing in today with some of the guys
you have here, I've got I'vegot four members. Um, we're all
we all joined right around the sametime. Um, it's of course knowledge,
there's a lot of course knowledge.Um. I'd say we're all right
around the same handicap in that likesix to ten range. Okay, Um,
So we'll see. I mean,I think it's going to take a
pretty low score today, probably rightaround fifteen or sixteen okay. Um.
(19:14):
But you know, I got agood group there were we play off each
other well. Some of us canhit it far. We got a good
putter, you know, some someshort game skills. So we'll see.
I'm with John Clark, so we'rescrewed. I'll tell you what though.
Man, he's hitting some balls longwhen he gets them, Yeah he does.
He might take a shot of thelong drive again, that was my
whole like theory. I'm like,I have two girls, we're hitting up
(19:34):
front. We need two drives.I'm like one of us just has to
get in the faro too, right, Yeah, that's right. Thank you
again. Congratulations again for winn atrip. Maybe you win another one go
back today. I don't win anything, so I don't plan on winning anything
today, just having a great dayon the course. He called. He
called me when he's like, hey, can you call me? I never
win anything? Is this a scam? I'm like, it's really not.
It's very true. Account. Thankyou many, good luck out there.
(20:00):
Wow about that? You know?Yeah? Oh yeah, yeah we got
He had an incredible time and wasn'teven able to play the team. The
rest is though. Yeah, I'mgonna pictures His way for posting looked incredible.
How do you not have a greattime there? Yeah, let's welcome
in Sean brace Let's get Sean Braceon for a second. I know he's
excited about this. Um, hisshow will be done today in his side
(20:23):
because he's gonna be able to playgolf to ye all right, First of
all, ladies and gentlemen, boysand grows. Thank you very much,
Jeff, your team. Oh mygoodness, this place is unbelievable. Hey,
I'm surprised they let me in.We got deer running across. Might
be a note in my locker later. Problem you got here before the security
(20:45):
and shout out. Did you seebaby Talarita in the house? Oh yeah,
hit and walk no longer a baby. Well, I saw his stats
from hitting yesterday. Um, itmight be tough to beat him in the
long draft today. That's all I'mgonna let's he dropped and he was in
the mid three. Brandon Matthews area, get working. What's with Danielle?
(21:06):
What's his farthest drive? I meanit run out probably like close to four
hundreds, could you imagine? Andstill I think the longest this year was
like three eight and that was two. Yeah, Jeff, you got some
heavy hitters here man. Of course, met Gino and his great family already
here looking like that's a that's agreat team nomination. Ready to go,
(21:29):
Yeah, definitely. Of course, saw all the good friends that you've had
over the years showing up at thepast and great sponsors of Tito's on the
first hole. Come on, man, let's go. Who else I don't
know, and then no, no, I have no idea. And and
you know, the funny thing wasis like I have you in a group
and surprise, you're not. I'mon seventeen team. Want to listen.
(21:51):
I'm I'm glad because for a second, I'm like, I just didn't want
you to waste Steady heavy Hitters oranybody, because like, no, I
think you're playing with the Crucker andJohn Kruk. I'm playing with all right,
so you got me with Kruk man. He's gonna hit my powers,
all right, Powers Kruk and whoare you powers? Guy us four?
(22:14):
Yeah? Wow, good grief. All right, hopefully the short game is
a possible you can make trades andand make Yeah, we like the movement.
Well it depends. We got somegreat sponsors here. Maybe they'll want
to play with John Kruk. Butanyways, um, yeah, I did
hurt my neck a little a coupleof weeks ago. If you haven't heard,
I'm surprised you didn't hear. Butthat's why stretches. Yeah, I
(22:36):
knew we had it. I knewhe was gonna bring that up. There's
no way he doesn't start out. It's excuse I can swing. Oh this
is great man swinging and ding it, doing it big every single year,
and this is definitely by far thebiggest man. We're excited, really excited.
Awesome. Well, we're gonna haveKeith on from the Legacy Club manager
here. Hey, let's have somefun swinging and ding it. Right,
(22:56):
Daniel moves right, nice work, shall embrace everyone. He's always ready hacked,
Yes, always abe he's not.Oh yeah, I think the other
way. Keith, Thank you generalmanager here at the Legacy Club. You
know, this is something that we'vebeen planning for a little while. But
to see this to come to fruition, but also everything else that you guys
(23:18):
have been putting together here, thechanges that you made through the course,
it looks incredible. People have beenblown away coming up talking to me.
Talk about the process. I knowit's been a while, right, Well,
it's actually not a very long processfor all this amount to be done.
But I mean, you guys didn'tjust take on a project or two.
You changed everything. Well, first, thank you for doing the event
here, Jeff and everybody who cameout and supported and sponsored today. We
(23:40):
really appreciate that. We're very proudof the club, but we're really proud
to have you here. Um.So it's pretty simple. We have an
ownership group, the Lawn Family,Lan Hospitality and Entertainment, Trish and Randy
and Alex and Amanda and the wholefamily. They are just visionaries. They
see what some others don't and theybuild what others either don't or can't.
(24:03):
And that's what we're trying to headtowards and hopefully we can do with justice,
our service, the quality of theproduct that you see here. Hopefully
today you have a great time. But the process, it's been fun.
It's been a lot of construction. We have a project manager named Bob.
He handles a lot of that, and you know, it's a whole process,
a lot of contractors, a lotof different pieces to it, a
(24:25):
lot of time. But we're movingalong. We're moving in the right direction
and we're very proud of what we'rebuilding, and we hope a lot of
folks keep coming out and supporting us, the members and guests. So we're
really excited what's being build. Offto our left here, it looks like
