we know that presidential election cycles impact everything, including real estate,
and some folks might be taking a look at the
market right now and going, what's going on? What happened?
Tell us about it?

Well, it is a very good question, and yes, the
election has definitely impacted real estate everywhere, including South Florida.
And here's the big news. We knew that. We knew
it was going to happen, because it's happened ever since.
They've been tracking data all the way back to nineteen
sixty three. So this is not new. This is not

this year. It's every four years. We see a slow down,
typically from September to November. This year it started actually
in July, so from July to November, and because of
the lack of activity from buyer's prices go down. They
actually decline on average about five point two percent. Here's

the good news. Out of all the year since nineteen
sixty three, the market recovers in almost all of those
years eighty two percent. They rebound after the election's over,
no matter what the election results are, because people get
back to life, they get back to their plans. No
matter what, we still have to live. Your candidate one

or your candidate didn't. So that's why it's happening. But
it is a short term thing versus a long term
impact on real estate and.
