Speaker 1 (00:00):
Good morning, Michael and Dragon. Happy Taxpayer Relief Shots Friday.
First of all, and then to Dragon, I have to
ask our smoke alarm no longer beeps at the end
of the program. Is that just because the eight five
O K zero a studio is that much superior to
the other one.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
Have a great day?

Speaker 3 (00:23):
Huh?

Speaker 4 (00:25):
Now you mentioned I can't get rid of it. On
Fridays at the end of the show for the last hour.
For years now, I've been doing a segment called Taxpayer
Relief Shots tprs's Taxpayer Relief Shots. I bring you these
stories about private citizens and occasionally the popo, the police too,

(00:50):
they're using legal deadly force to protect their own lives
and the lives of others. And we do these not
because we celebrate the death of the criminal or the thug,
but because we celebrate on this program the God given
the natural law and the constitutional right of people to

(01:10):
protect themselves against death or serious bodily injury at the
hands of others. And I call them taxpayer relief shots
because when the legal use of deadly force, you could
be by a gun, you could be by a baseball bat,
you could be by a nine iron, whatever it is.
When the legal use of deadly force results in the
death of the criminal or the assailant, it saves the

(01:34):
taxpayers the cost of a jury trial, which usually includes
the cost of a court appointed public defender. Then you
have the cost of all the numerous appeals, the meal,
the medical, the clothing, and the possible probationary supervision costs
that are associated with the arrest and the imprisonment of
that criminal. These are taxpayer relief shots. And as Sheriff Grady,

(01:54):
one of the sheriffs down in Florida, says, dragon, can
I get a little audio?

Speaker 2 (02:04):
Somebody's breaking in your house here? More than welcome to
shoot him. In Centao's accounting, we prefer that you do.

Speaker 5 (02:08):
Actually hopefully you'll save the taxpayers money.

Speaker 4 (02:10):
And thus we call them taxpayer relieve shots. And in
fact Koa already does these.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
What do you looking to me? You should have it? Oh?
Where is it? I don't know where it is?

Speaker 6 (02:27):
Eleven eleven fourteen, uh local.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
Form this morning to look. I got you. I got
it right here. Here we go me for double place
breaking in your house? Here more there it is. There's
the first one. Double clake, double click.

Speaker 7 (02:42):
Denver police shot and killed a burglary suspect early this
morning at an apartment complex on South Parker Road near
I two twenty five. When they arrived, authorities confronted the
suspect coming.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
Out of a shed armed with a knife.

Speaker 7 (02:53):
After initially dropping the weapon, Police Chief Ron Thomas says
he picked it back up in advanced towards the officers.

Speaker 8 (03:00):
The two officers there fired at the individual.

Speaker 2 (03:04):
He went down.

Speaker 8 (03:04):
They immediately began to render medical aid until an ambulance
arrived and was able to transport that person to Swedish hospital,
where there ultimately were pronounced deceased.

Speaker 2 (03:17):
The officers were not hurt. See, this is nothing new.

Speaker 4 (03:21):
This is just a reaffirmation of our constitutional and God
given rights to engage in self defense. Now, compare and
contrast that with the attitude that they have in Canada,
because they don't believe in that.

Speaker 9 (03:37):
In the unlikely event that you find yourself the victim
of a home invasion, we are urging citizens not to
take matters into their own hands. We urge you to
call nine one one and do everything you can to
keep yourself and loved ones safe until police arrive, and
be the best witness.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
Possible unless you're dead. Of course, this could.

Speaker 9 (03:57):
Mean locking yourself in a room away from the perpetrators, hiding,
fleeing the home, but don't engage unless absolutely necessary.

Speaker 2 (04:04):
As it stands, we.

Speaker 9 (04:07):
Know the best defense for most people is to comply.
As you've just heard, a number of safety recommendations will
allow for those that are victimizing members in the community
to leave and not harm anyone. And my advice is

(04:29):
to rerly on our place service called nine one one
immediately and let us take it from there. And we
see more.

Speaker 6 (04:37):
Often than not when people comply.

Speaker 9 (04:40):
That you know, the injuries are not happening and people
are not victimized in terms of injury or in this case, unfortunately,
we've seen the loss of life in some of these incidents.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
See we believe just the opposite.

Speaker 4 (04:58):
Here's our first one homeowner shoots and kills an invader.

Speaker 10 (05:05):
The home invader is dead after the homeowner's shot and
killed him last week.

Speaker 2 (05:08):
Calls back.

Speaker 10 (05:09):
Police say forty six year old Michael Brooks Rall broke
into the home on West Riverside Drive last Thursday evening.
They say the homeowner spotted raw inside and the homeowners
shot role during a confrontation. Police did not say whether
the homeowner will be facing charges.

Speaker 4 (05:25):
And that's an example of a taxpayer relief shot. And
again nothing new. It's just a celebration of the god
given right of self defense.

Speaker 6 (05:36):
Michael, when in Canada, please still take matters into your
own hands, eh. Caution, you are about to experience the
tax payer relief shot segment on the situation with Michael Brown. Caution,
you are about to experience the tax pay relief shot
segment on the situation with Michael Brown. We do not
necessarily relish the death of any criminal, but we do

(06:00):
celebrate our god given and constitutional right to self defense
in the event that the criminal becomes d RT. The
taxpayers spared the cost of public defenders, court costs, incarceration,
and continued pearl supervision. As the Sheriff of Santa Rossa County,
Florida says insert audio here, or Sheriff Grady of Pope

(06:22):
County says, insert audio here.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
So funny, you have been warned. Listen at your own risks.

Speaker 4 (06:30):
We go, Here we go. The next one is our intern.
He's been demoaned. He's an interurn. Now that that compiles
these for us, divides them up into award winners and
ranks the number one and number two.

Speaker 2 (06:47):
This one is an award winner.

Speaker 4 (06:48):
And I will tell you in advance that while we
do not celebrate the death of a criminal, sometimes circumstances
cause us to go, okay, maybe we should celebrate. This
might be one of those where because of the circumstances,
but you'll have to listen, you might say, good for you.

Speaker 11 (07:11):
A seven year old boy is safe tonight after Hillsboro
County deputies rescued him from a hostage situation in a
home in Brandon. Deputy's killed the suspect in a shooting.
This afternoon, Boxs' Teams Danielle Zelkowski joins us in studio
to explain what happened here.

Speaker 2 (07:28):
Danielle well Lloyd.

Speaker 12 (07:30):
The Hillsboro County Sheriff's Office says a man took his
seven year old brother hostage in the child's own home today.

Speaker 13 (07:36):
Their sister called it in.

Speaker 12 (07:38):
The child is safe thanks to the heroic actions of
all involved. We just got the body camera in video
in just under an hour ago. Now we're going to
show you some of that. We want to warn you
this may be.

Speaker 2 (07:49):
Hard to watch.

Speaker 12 (07:51):
This is the moment deputies from the Hillsboro County Sheriff's
office broke down the door in a Brandon home where
twenty seven year old Mario kamank Show was holding his
seven year old brother at knife point.

Speaker 14 (08:03):
God.

Speaker 12 (08:06):
He was killed by a deputy Sunday afternoon when he
wouldn't release his brother.

Speaker 14 (08:11):
The only shot he could take was the shot he
had to take to stop that threat from harming that
boy and rescuing him and saving him.

Speaker 12 (08:20):
Camacho had a history of mental illness and domestic violence
charges in Polk County.

Speaker 14 (08:25):
Domestic violence as one and mental illness that keeps these
are the monsters in our community.

Speaker 12 (08:31):
Before baricating himself and the boy in the back room
of the home, Camacho also cut his eighteen year old
sister with the knife.

Speaker 14 (08:39):
There's no doubt in my mind that that boy would
have been harmed if it weren't for the actions of
our deputies. But right now, in the aftermath of that
heroic action, is a family that has to pick up
the pieces.

Speaker 12 (08:50):
Neighbors were very shocked to hear this happen in their area.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
We Thankino.

Speaker 5 (08:58):
It's a very quiet neighborhood. Things like today have never happened.
We're a little scared, actually, surprised and surprised. In fact,
my children usually go out with their puppies on that stream.
We have never heard of problems. I'm a very quiet
sector and we are surprised by this regrettable news.

Speaker 12 (09:17):
Camacho was wearing two ballistic vests and a motorcycle helmet
when deputies broke down the door and entered the room.
He was taken to the hospital where he died. The
deputy was placed on administrative leave with pay. While this
is investigated by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, this
is standard procedure back.

Speaker 4 (09:36):
To you, and that one is a great example also
of the incredible difficulty that cops face in that kind
of situation, and yet we want to defund the cops
bull this one.

Speaker 2 (09:50):
This is a follow up to a.

Speaker 4 (09:52):
District attorney rules shooting of an armed thug by an
elderly homeowner to be justified.

Speaker 15 (09:59):
The Journey's office is weighing in on a recent case
in which police say a Baltimore store owner shot and
killed a man breaking into his store. Boxfordy vives. Keith
Daniels joins us Live with that update.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
Keith well Maxine.

Speaker 3 (10:12):
This decision comes after a review by the City State's
Attorney's Homicide Unit and tonight State's Attorney Ivan Bates with
this ruling. Christine Wilson remembers what happened when gunfire broke
out at the Corner Jewelry Store on Fleet Street in
Canton that early morning, just after two am on October sixteenth,

(10:37):
when the store's owner opened fire on a suspected burglar,
killing him. The incident unfolded near Wilson's home.

Speaker 16 (10:46):
I heard it right outside my window and so kind
of nervous about it.

Speaker 2 (10:51):
Called night everybody would be we'll fullish this one.

Speaker 17 (10:55):
On the other side, Michael and Dragon, you've made it
to day the end of your first week on the
blow torch eight fifty koa. Are we down to eleven listeners?
Maybe ten? Have you gained a few. You've done a
good job in the transition. Looking forward to getting to

(11:15):
hear parts of your show as I can well doing
that work.

Speaker 4 (11:20):
Gig, stop the work, gig, good grief, live off. The
taxpayers come on doing tax payer relief shots. This is
where we celebrate the god given natural right of self defense.
And as we said, KLA was already doing it. They
did a new story this morning about a tax payer

(11:40):
relief shot. We're going back to what we did earlier.
An award winner. It's about a district attorney that rules
the shooting of an armed thug by an elderly store
owner was actually justified.

Speaker 15 (11:52):
Attorney's office is weighing in on a recent case in
which police say a Baltimore store owner shot and killed
a man breaking into his store. Boxfordy vives. Keith Daniels
joins US Live with that update.

Speaker 2 (12:03):
Keith Well Maxine.

Speaker 3 (12:05):
This decision comes after a review by the City State's
Attorney's homicide unit, and tonight, State's Attorney Ivan Bates with
is ruling. Christine Wilson remembers what happened when gunfire broke
out at the Corner Jewelry store on Fleet Street in
Canton that early morning, just after two am on October sixteenth,

(12:30):
when the store's owner opened fire on a suspected burglar,
killing him. The incident unfolded near Wilson's home.

Speaker 16 (12:39):
I heard it right outside my window and so kind
of nervous about it.

Speaker 6 (12:44):
Called nine one.

Speaker 2 (12:44):
One on Monday.

Speaker 3 (12:45):
Baltimore City State's Attorney Ivan Dates with the decision. The
fatal shooting during what police called a possible burglary has
been ruled as self defense. The elderly store owner who
lives above the door won't face criminal charges.

Speaker 16 (13:02):
That is fantastic news. That is great news for all
of us in this neighborhood. Yeah, it's great. It's nice
to see that you don't go to jail for taking
care of your family.

Speaker 3 (13:11):
Bates identify the man killed as thirty nine year old
Richard Roff.

Speaker 2 (13:16):
In a statement Monday, Bates said, based on the.

Speaker 3 (13:19):
Facts of this case, we believe that this shooting meets
the requirements of self defense in the state of Maryland.
Under Maryland law, a crime can be ruled as self
defense or defense of habitation if it meets several factors,
including a suspect attempted to.

Speaker 2 (13:36):
Enter a home or property, the property.

Speaker 3 (13:39):
Owner believes the person intends to commit a crime that
would lead to death or serious injury, and the property
owner reasonably believed force was necessary.

Speaker 4 (13:51):
That's a pretty good summation of the general rule of
self defense. All of those elements, you're probably justified and
defending yourself by any means possible. It's reasonable.

Speaker 16 (14:03):
They don't have the right to protect themselves, and thank
god we do.

Speaker 3 (14:06):
According to the investigation, the homeowner believed Rolf was armed.
It was later discovered that he did not have a gun.
In Bates's statement, he said, based on the investigation in
this case, while it was later determined that mister Rolf
did not have a gun, it is reasonable that the
homeowner believed mister Rolf was armed. While I spoke with

(14:32):
the store's owner, he did not want to be interviewed
on camera, but he did tell me that he's relieved
and pleased with this decision or life tonight, Keith Daniels,
Fox forty five News.

Speaker 2 (14:44):
I bet he is.

Speaker 4 (14:46):
And as another example coming up next another award winner,
It's not always that a tax prayer relief shot is
effluctuated by a victim.

Speaker 2 (14:57):
Sometimes the criminal is just stupid. Good morning.

Speaker 18 (15:04):
That chaotic scene unfolding here just outside the home depot
on Mountain Avenue, Witnesses say that man, a day laborer,
was seen running from the home depot across Evergreen Avenue
there and on to the freeway where he was struck.
Witnesses say that man was yelling for help at passing
vehicles before he was hit, and we have video that
captured the shocking scene moments after it happened. Monrovia City

(15:25):
officials confirming that man was hit on the two ten
Freeway as he was fleeing from an ICE operation here
at the Home Depot just before ten am Thursday. The
California Highway Patrol says he was rushed to a hospital
but didn't survive. Meanwhile, Homeland Security officials and since the
man wasn't being chased and say they didn't know about
his death until hours later after the operation wrapped up.

Speaker 2 (15:44):
But that tragedy here.

Speaker 18 (15:45):
Sparking outrage and a demonstration at the Home Depot, with
protesters calling that official account into question and also calling
for an end to immigration raids, with some claiming another
man was hit by an ICE vehicle during the operation.

Speaker 2 (15:59):
They say that wild scene.

Speaker 19 (16:02):
It enrages me, and people should be ashamed of themselves
that they're treating humans like they are rats on a street.

Speaker 2 (16:08):
They should be wait a minute, like rats on a street.

Speaker 4 (16:11):
So this individual, if they are in the country unlawfully,
they've and depending on how many times they've come into
the country unlawfully, they've either committed a misdemeanor and or
a felony. And if the account of DHS is correct,
and they didn't know he was running away. Wait a minute,
so you're outraged that we're trying to enforce the law.

(16:32):
What if that guy had just robbed the home depot
and it was the popo, the cops had shown up,
and he ran out onto the two ten freeway.

Speaker 2 (16:40):
What would you say this, sweetheart? What would you say then?
Shamed of themselves? It's just a tragic, senseless death.

Speaker 14 (16:48):
One is it going to stop?

Speaker 13 (16:50):
And we just can't have this anymore?

Speaker 4 (16:53):
Well, if people quit breaking the law, I guess we could,
you know, defund the cops.

Speaker 18 (17:00):
Fact those protesters say federal agents should be held accountable
for the man's death. ICE local enforcement began to six
last month. We know a federal judge issued a temporary
restraining order preventing the government from detaining people based on
racial profiling or without access to legal counsel. Well, the
federal government is now appealed the issue to the US
Supreme Court, while ICE raids have owned.

Speaker 2 (17:20):
I gotta pause this one again too.

Speaker 4 (17:23):
So why does the reporter bring in that there's a
judge that said you can't detain people based upon racial profiling.
There's no evidence indication whatsoever.

Speaker 2 (17:34):
In the story that that's what was taking place.

Speaker 4 (17:36):
And in fact, if you just take the story at
face value, the ICE is doing a lawful raid. Someone
gets spooked, runs and gets hit on the freeway, And
of course one of the protesters says, well, these ICE
ations ought to be held lawful for that, liable for that.
On what basis would that be? You ran away from

(17:59):
the copps, you ran onto the street. You made that choice.
Cobstin't chaser on the street. They didn't even know you
were running onto the street.

Speaker 18 (18:09):
Increase Now, if we come back out of your live
to this home depot, witness to say at least ten
men were seeing taken into custody during that operation yesterday.
A vigil now planned today at five point thirty for
the man who was killed. The name hasn't been released.
Where we're going to get more information on that for now.
That's the latest in Monrovia this morning on Mario Ramires.

Speaker 4 (18:26):
We'll send it back to you in Monrovia. Now let's
go to another one. A suspect in a stolen vehicle
running away from the cops is struck and killed.

Speaker 2 (18:37):
We'll just pay loser exactly.

Speaker 13 (18:43):
Welcome back right now.

Speaker 20 (18:44):
The Georgia SA Patrol is investigating the.

Speaker 13 (18:46):
Death of a suspect.

Speaker 20 (18:48):
Investigators say the man was killed while trying to flee
from Clayton County Sheriff's deputies.

Speaker 3 (18:53):
That's right.

Speaker 21 (18:53):
We do know that the incident happened early this morning.
It shut down the Downtown Connector and Eleve of Less.
Missus Starback is joining us from Georgia State Patrol headquarters.

Speaker 2 (19:02):
Marissa.

Speaker 21 (19:03):
We know that you've been digging on this all day.
Do we have any more details about how exactly the
suspect died.

Speaker 19 (19:10):
We do faith that Jennifer GSP told us that the
man was actually struck and killed by a passing car
on I seventy five when he got out of his
car and tried to cross the lanes on foot. The
footage you're looking at is from earlier this morning. Here
on your screen. This is about four o'clock this morning.
This was on the northbound lanes of I seventy five.
You can see it from our traffic tracker. GSP tells

(19:32):
us a Clayton County Sheriff's deputy had been pursuing a
Chevy Silverado traveling north on I seventy five near Forest
Parkway when they performed a pit maneuver to stop the truck.
The driver, Moshi Ben Israel. Williams, tried to flee on foot,
running across.

Speaker 13 (19:47):
The interstate, where he fell in one of the lanes.

Speaker 19 (19:49):
One car did attempt to stop, but a second car
hit that car from behind, and then the first car
hit and killed Williams. The Clayton County Sheriff's Office tells
us the truck was reported stolen on September seven, and
they also tell us that Williams had his license suspended
twelve times. GSP continues to investigate, reporting live outside their
headquarters tonight, Alissa sawback for eleven Alive News.

Speaker 22 (20:10):
Risa, thank you so much for bringing us the latest.

Speaker 20 (20:12):
Now we do know that law enforcement.

Speaker 2 (20:13):
It also tells us.

Speaker 21 (20:14):
That marijuana was found inside of that truck, and GSP
is still investigating at this hour.

Speaker 4 (20:19):
All right, that was a good one. Now the next
one is an example of cause and effect. See if
you can forget what the cause and what the effect is.

Speaker 21 (20:31):
Following breaking news out of Suffolk, a man is dead
after he was shot by police on Ashley Avenue.

Speaker 5 (20:36):
Police say it happened just after eight o'clock last night.

Speaker 2 (20:40):
Town on your sides.

Speaker 13 (20:40):
Michael Rinker is live.

Speaker 20 (20:41):
In Suffolk, So Michael, what exactly do police say happened there?

Speaker 23 (20:46):
Yeah, Katie and Kiana Police say that this all started
from a be on the lookout that was sent out
on a report of a stolen vehicle and officers came
into contact with that vehicle last night around eight o'clock
in a neighborhood in so Now. According to police, when
their officers found the vehicle on Ashley Avenue, two officers
that approached the car and there was one person inside

(21:07):
the vehicle that allegedly shot.

Speaker 2 (21:08):
One shot.

Speaker 23 (21:09):
Officers then return fire, hitting the unidentified person inside. Officers
then provided medical treatment to that person, but the man
was pronounced dead on the scene. Sevic police said that
they also recovered a gun on the scene as well,
and now a criminal and internal investigation is underway. Cevic
Police have placed both of those officers on paid administrative leave.

(21:30):
But ten on your Side was on the scene last
night and we spoke with a woman whose daughter told
her about what happened, and she.

Speaker 24 (21:36):
Was just like, mom, where are you at?

Speaker 2 (21:38):
Where are you at?

Speaker 24 (21:39):
She was like, she hurt one gun shot and she
heard the cops say, you know, put your hands up,
put your hands up, and then she hurt like numerous
amounts of shots. The transpire after that, you know, ultimately
loses their life.

Speaker 13 (21:52):
Is very sad, it's very heartbreaking.

Speaker 3 (21:57):
Now.

Speaker 23 (21:57):
Cevic police say that they are still trying to contact
the the man's family, that they have not released any
information about his identity at this time, and they also
say that none of their officers were injured during the incident.
Live and Suffick, Michael Rinker, sit on your side.

Speaker 2 (22:12):
It is sad.

Speaker 4 (22:13):
It is disheartening that somebody dies in an incident like that.
But I think the cause is when you shoot at
a cop, you might expect that the effect will be
they're going to shoot back at you and you'll end.

Speaker 2 (22:25):
Up DRT which means dead right there.

Speaker 4 (22:31):
This one is a great example of how this isn't
happen to anybody, although it happens to be an off
duty cop.

Speaker 25 (22:40):
Tonight, the mother of a twenty seven year old man
shot to death by an off duty Harris County Sheriff's
deputy says he was suffering from mental problems and believes
that the system failed him. Fox May six is Randy
Wallace reports from a task ASDA at.

Speaker 26 (22:54):
Two forty five this afternoon, an off duty Harris County
Sheriff shipety walked out of his home here in the
fidget a hundred block of Treewood with his small child
when he was apparently confronted.

Speaker 2 (23:04):
By a man.

Speaker 26 (23:05):
That man, according to the deputy, was trying to get
into the car.

Speaker 2 (23:10):
The deputy, and fear of.

Speaker 26 (23:11):
His life and his child's life, fired several shots at
the man, who later died at the hospital.

Speaker 2 (23:18):
The man has been identified.

Speaker 26 (23:19):
Us twenty seven year old Darius Williams.

Speaker 3 (23:23):
Now.

Speaker 2 (23:23):
We spoke to Williams' mother and.

Speaker 26 (23:25):
Some family friends and they were telling us that he
has mental problems and he was having some sort of
a psychotic breakdown when this happened.

Speaker 2 (23:35):
He just got out of jail last night.

Speaker 22 (23:37):
Last night they picked him up for, you know, walking
into our oncoming traffic and brand his name. So he
had a warrant for a failure to appear from the
last episode. And the officer called me when he was
there with him on the scene and asked me a
lot of questions, and I said, ma'am, why don't you

(23:57):
just take him to the psychiatric ward getting into traffic.
She said, oh, no, we're gonna deal with this warrant.
He's going to jail. I said, ma'am, you can click. Yes,
I clearly see something's wrong with it.

Speaker 2 (24:12):
And now Jerius is dead.

Speaker 3 (24:13):
Being a trained officer calling in dispatch, howling out commands
and then shooting multiple times.

Speaker 2 (24:23):
When you have a lot of questions of this. Yes,
we have a lot of questions.

Speaker 3 (24:27):
And so they say they have the tape, they would
not let us look at the tape.

Speaker 2 (24:33):
And that's all they've been. That's all we've been told.

Speaker 26 (24:35):
Darius mother says, this shows how difficult it can be
to get mental health services for someone who's living on
the streeter, is in and out of jail.

Speaker 3 (24:45):
Now.

Speaker 2 (24:46):
Of course, this investigation is just beginning.

Speaker 26 (24:49):
There'll be an internal affairs investigation as well as a
grand jury review. Reporting from ATASKA SITA. Randy Wallace, Fox
twenty six News.

Speaker 4 (25:00):
So, Harris County, Texas, Houston, Texas, it's not unusually get
a lot of them from Harris County, Texas. But to
their point, apparently you've had several psychiatric episodes and you're
still not institutionalized. And in terms of the off duty cop,
get your kids in the car. Crazy guy jumps in

(25:21):
the car, he can easily car jacket. Who knows what
would happen to the kids. But everybody's like, oh no,
you guy's crazy. So we got to do something. Yeah,
the cop did what I think parents would rationally do,
and that's protect their children.

Speaker 2 (25:34):
Listen, here's another one. Uh cop shoots.

Speaker 4 (25:36):
And kills a thirteen year old boy who well, take
a listen.

Speaker 27 (25:42):
Back in the breaking news center, we're getting an update
on that tragic story we're getting out of Holk County.
The suspect, the young suspect accused of killing his sixty
eight year old grandmother at her home on Pierce Place
in Rayfort, has been located. I's already say they found
the suspect in the Cameron area of Lee County, inside
of a stolen vehicle that belonged to the deceased grandmother.

Speaker 4 (26:04):
Oh so you've killed your grandmother and you've stolen the car,
and now you're fleeing from the cops.

Speaker 27 (26:09):
The suspect started running into the woods. This is according
to the Sheriff's office. They say the young man tried
to charge a deputy with a two by four piece
of wood. The deputy discharged his weapon, hitting the suspect
right now, the SBI is investigating the incident.

Speaker 2 (26:23):
We'll keep watching him. I can hear it now, Well,
why do you have to shooting? All right, we'll put
you in a room.

Speaker 4 (26:29):
Well, someone who's just killed their grandmother now just a
stranger of their grandmother, stolen the car, fleeing the cops
and now starts to chasing you with the two before.
We'll put you about ten feet apart, and see how
long it is before you react.

Speaker 2 (26:45):
Another one.

Speaker 4 (26:46):
Let's see the publish you can kill a man with
a gun who was well, hey, can you listen and
decide Tonight?

Speaker 20 (26:54):
New bonniecam footage shows the moments police attempted to reason
with a twenty eight year old man before he was
shot and killed in East Flatbush. News Fellows Morgan Scott
is breaking down the seconds it all unfolded.

Speaker 28 (27:08):
It was only a few weeks ago when the family
of twenty eight year old roysed in Bacchus Junior were
joined by community leaders calling for the bodyham footage of
his shooting to be released.

Speaker 2 (27:20):
Why you're talking to media dead, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (27:22):
Every moment has to be made to bring clarity to
what took place, But now.

Speaker 13 (27:28):
New video is providing some answers.

Speaker 28 (27:31):
Back on October fifth, police say they were called to
a home on East eighty sixth Street by a woman
who claimed she was being harassed by a man she
knew and planned to.

Speaker 13 (27:41):
Follow restraining order.

Speaker 28 (27:43):
That man was roysed in Bacchus Junior, who police caught
up with a few blocks away. As they chase him down,
you can hear officers shouting at him Ropnert, Hopnert. But
when the twin eight year old did not drop the
gun you see here in his hand, one shot was fired.

Speaker 13 (28:06):
We've paused the video before impact.

Speaker 28 (28:09):
Witnesses at the time told us he was handcuffed for
several minutes before being taken to the hospital, where he
was pronounced dead in East Flatbush.

Speaker 13 (28:18):
Morgan Scott's News twelve.

Speaker 4 (28:20):
Booklet another one fairly easy cause and effect. Run away
from the cops. You're carrying a gun, You turn around,
you point the gun at the cop.

Speaker 2 (28:28):
Boom. That's it.

Speaker 4 (28:30):
See these stories don't get enough national attention. The whole
concept of self defense gets lost in the idea that
all we want to defund the cops or whatever. Let's see,
here's a wanted murder suspect.

Speaker 15 (28:49):
Now, just developing news bodycam video of a suit out
between police and a murder suspect by Rodgers.

Speaker 2 (28:55):
You obtained this dramatic video. Take us through it to
want some.

Speaker 29 (28:58):
Really wild video that you're seeing here out of the
Orange County. Now, this is all chasing a murder suspect
in carjacking suspect out of northern San Diego County. He
ended up there in Orange County when the Newport Beach
Police Department in the Irvine Police Department tried to stop him.

Speaker 2 (29:09):
He led to a chase.

Speaker 29 (29:10):
We'll show you some moments from the car dash camp
of this Newport Beach police Yeah.

Speaker 4 (29:14):
Three jurisdiction, three jurisdictions chasing one guy, a murder suspect car.

Speaker 29 (29:20):
You see him chasing him down the street here at
high speed. Now, at some point during the chase, he
gets to in and out restaurant there and so for
whatever reason, decides to stop. You see him beara his
car all the way to the right before turning it
sharply to the left and pulling up right against the
median there. From here he gets out and begins firing
at officers. Take a look at this view. This is
from an airship, a police helicopter that was overhead that
is tracking the moments of the movements of the vehicle

(29:41):
as well.

Speaker 2 (29:42):
Now soon as he.

Speaker 29 (29:43):
Gets out, he himself begins shooting at the officers, who
then returned fire.

Speaker 13 (29:56):
No get out, get up.

Speaker 29 (30:01):
Some really crazy videos he hit him jump out of
the car like that and meg and shooting at the officers. Obviously,
all of those officers began firing back at him. You
heard the large volley of gunfire back and forth. Ultimately
the suspect would die as a results of his injuries
from those gunshots. When this has happened back in September,
we told you about it, the night had happened, and
now there's a big investigation into making sure all those
officers actions were correct and detailing the extensive scene. You

(30:23):
can imagine how much evidence was recovered from that scene
after that shootout, guys.

Speaker 4 (30:27):
So intense, Mike, thank you very much, and again great
cause and effect. So there's your first segment of tax
payer relief shots. It's just our way of celebrating the
god given a natural law right of self defense. Sometimes
it involves cops, sometimes it involves individuals, and these stories
just everybody wants to ignore the horrible situation that these

(30:50):
thugs and criminals and crazy people put cops in. And
then you wonder why people end up dead. It's very
simple cause and effect. What do you want, I'd.

Speaker 2 (30:59):
Like to do a show.

Speaker 16 (31:00):
You've spoken right through our time, so now it's my time,
coming up here quickly, all right, I'm out here by

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
