The JV Show on Wild ninety nine. The weekend. I'm sorry, Zill
weekend, it's my French accent.Zill Weekend and Ariana kran Day die for
you. Walthony for nine at theBays number one hit music station. Hi
Grammy, good morning, buddy,Good morning, It's the JV Show.
I'm Selena and I'm Graham. Youalready know your Graham? I said,
ye Hey, buddy, Hey,I'm Graham. I'm Selena. Okay,
(00:20):
good good Friday. I really wishit was the weekend. I the weekend,
weekend, day, weekend? Whyis it? Why do you throw
a French thing on there? Idon't know the weekend? And then when
you talk about the Bay Bridge andtraffic reports, you say the bay Bridge?
Why is the bay Bridge warrant ofFrench? I don't action as well,
No reason, just for frenzies,I guess. Okay, good morning,
(00:42):
I'm Graham and I'm Selena. Okay, what's up buddy? You said
you were getting dude? Wait,no, I got a huge notification this
morning, big day, big dayto day you guys? Is it it's
not your birthday? I had noidea it was today. But it's cause
for celebration. What is it?According to Twitter? Just logged in this
(01:03):
morning. Today is my thirteen yearanniversary of joining Twitter. Congratulations Graham.
I think that's a big milestone.Only one problem with that, that's thirteen.
I ain't been on Twitter for thirteenyears. What do you mean?
But if it's telling you thirteen years? Yeah, but are you joined in
twenty ten? No? I joinedwhen I rejoined the JV Show and that
(01:25):
was like, I don't know, eight or nine years ago, and I
created the handle Graham nine four nine. I don't think I would have had
that handle thirteen years ago. Sohello Twitter, dumpster fire, of which
that entire platform is. You gotthe date wrong? Did you start one
with your email? Maybe back intwenty ten? But did it? Maybe
you didn't use the account, youwere just interested. Twitter was really new?
(01:49):
Do I look like a guy thatwould have been tweeting thirteen years ago?
Eight? Social media? Exactly?I didn't. I didn't have no,
I had no Twitter. I don'tget this. I don't understand this.
I mean, and so why areyou and why do you still use
it? That's a good point.Well, no, the JAV Show fam
is on there. I like Ilike talking with the handful of jav Show
listeners, but I don't use Twitterfor anything outside of that. And is
(02:14):
signing onto Twitter part of your regularmorning routine because you're like just signed on
notifications rolling through? Like, isthat part of you think? You log
into your email, you obviously checkthe news and then Twitter, Yep,
open it, open it up,open it up, and then I got
this big alert Happy Twitter anniversary.Congrun. Yeah, spend a hell of
a thirteen years. Question for thej Show fam, why are you guys
(02:37):
still on Twitter? Well? Ilike to you know, I don't know.
Is there another place that they could? I don't know. I thought
people were kind of honestly send eachother the same memes over and over again.
Is there another platform that allows youto do that? Because if there
isn't Twitter, Twitter is really goodfor that. Yeah, they need they
need that. We also we shouldmention again I speaking of the Twitter fam,
(02:58):
they are having to meet up thisSaturday day. What's today? Thursday?
Yeah? Today, Thursday? Yeah, a couple of days out and
it's you know, I'd have tolook up where it's at. But they've
got to beat, you know,a big family barbecue thing that's in Dublin,
and then I'm just you know, you know what I'm gonna do.
I'm gonna find it. It's atAlamo Creek Park in Dublin. Family friendly
picnic. It says please bring yourown food, snacks, and drinks,
(03:20):
so they're not going to provide youwith anything. Don't even think about getting
a free potato chip at this gathering. But it is family friendly. Like
I said, positive vibes only,so don't complain that they're not sharing any
of their potato chips with you.But there is a gathering if you want
to join up with some like mindedJV show family. I think that's very
very cool. Um anything else?Graham? Yeah, we got to talk
(03:42):
back yesterday with pretty interesting question onit, and it came in towards the
end of the show, so wedidn't get a chance to play yesterday.
So I think we should play thistalk back now. Listen closely to this
question, formulate transfer and let meknow what you think. Okay, in
question to see if you guys areable to help me out with it.
Are oranges orange because oranges are orange? Or as an orange orange because orange
(04:06):
is onge? I might need tohear it one more time from will confused
in question to see if you guysare able to help me out with it.
Are oranges orange because oranges are orange? Or as an orange orange because
oranges onge? I feel like yousaid an extra orange in there at the
(04:26):
end. Okay, So are orangesorange because the color orange? No?
No, no, no no?Or is the color orange because of oranges?
I think I think that the colororange is orange? No, because
what came first? The orange ofthe color, you know, I think
the orange came first. But wasit called an orange? Well? Then
(04:50):
I think they like they discovered iton the tree, you know, almost
look at this delicious citrus fruit.I shall call an orange. I shall
call it an orange. And thenthe color because there aren't many other things
out there that are orange except fortigers, pumpkin, cheetahs, some others,
(05:12):
candy corn stuff. So when theydiscovered the San Francisco Giant, when
they discovered the very very first orange, they already had candy corn, right
There were other things. There wereother things orange out there, of course,
but there wasn't a name for thatcolor yet right until but then they
really didn't couldn't capture it because anactual orange on the tree is the most
(05:35):
pure orange of the colors? Right? Orange? Traffic cones, of course
obviously were there, but that wasn'tthe shade that they were looking for.
Did we answer the question? Idon't know. I think I think so.
I think so what camp are youin? The color came first,
or the fruit came first? Likethe color came first, So so orange
(05:56):
was already out there because they neededsomething to describe traffic cones, andy corns,
et cetera. And then they justsaid, well, we should name
this fruit and orange because orange matchesthis color. Yes, that I'm in
the opposite camp. No, butif if my theory were true, I
wouldn't they just called bananas yellow. That's a good point, you know.
(06:16):
Yeah, But then of course we'realready other yellow things out there, Lions.
This is stupid. This is stupid. I don't think we answered this
question. I don't think that nowis there? Don't know. I'm sure
the internet has a definitive answer, right, the internet knows all, that's
all. Yeah, we could wecould figure that stupid. Yes, m
(06:43):
Grandma know you wanted to talk aboutthis crazy video before we get to that,
or can we hold off on thatactually do. We have a lot
of stuff, push it to theside, stand by stuff here on the
busy celebraty like Twitter reversary thirteen yearsbeen a hell of a ride. Listen
to this gratulations by the way.Seventh you're welcome, say thank you,
thank you because you're welcome for me, you know, well, then thank
(07:10):
you. Um. Seven thirty fiveThe JV Show. Yep, nope game.
We have sold out Becky g tickets. That's surprise, that's Big seven
fifty. This morning we have postMalone his newly announced tour. He's stopping
by the shoreline August sixteenth, threetickets for that. And then tomorrow seven
oh five be here on the JVShow. We have a major announcement.
(07:30):
We are going to unveil the lineupfor Whasmataz twenty twenty three, The JV
Show on Wild nine. Can't evengo online without seeing something about Vandy rules.
Dude, I went online and I'veseen nothing about it. So was
there not a bunch of chatter goingon about what happened last night? I'm
confused? Where where are you looking? It's everywhere? I'm telling you,
(07:51):
I don't know my you know,my normal you know my normal like sights
and stuff. Yahoo. Yeah, really love a good Yahoo. Wait,
Selena, we have a couple oftalkbacks coming in and I think one of
them is about the question about whetheror not an orange is an orange?
Yes, yes, is because thecolor orange or right. So I'm gonna
(08:13):
you know what I'm gonna do.I'm attempt to play one from right here
Morning Graham and Selena Boy nobody special. The person asked our oranges orange because
orange are orange? Or oranges orangebecause the color orangell whatever? The question
was so Harper and I, mydaughter Harper and I listened to the podcast
called um the Ashley D's a professionAssy and they asked this question and actually
(08:39):
think I forgot which one came first. Okay, so the fruit came first,
and then the color came and itused to be called red yellow.
They used to go around calling itred yell. That is way too long,
I'm sorry, but okay, thegroup came first. That means if
that's correct, that would mean yourtheory is correct. Yes, Graham,
Right, according to an a scientistfrom NASA who has a podcast so about
(09:03):
orange and fruits. All right, let's kick off our meeting in the latest
room. Where's my jewelry back?Okay, so I discovered a hack,
right, I have not tried thisyet. I want to know if any
one listening has tried this and doesit work, because if so, this
(09:26):
could this could save lives, savelives. This sounds very important. Listen
up, everybody. Apparently, ifyou tape your third and fourth toes together,
okay, and then put on apair of heels, which side do
I start counting from on the toes? Um, big toes number one because
(09:48):
it's the biggest, Yeah, yes, okay, three? Four? Yeah?
So the two like the two middleones, right, tape those toes
together in the middle. Do youknow what I mean? Okay, the
middle. I'm just trying to figureout what I'm taping. Got it?
You tape your third and four fourthtoes together, and this will allow you
to wear heels all nights. Itsays you can walk in heels without the
(10:11):
pain and you can get back togrooven. I don't know who wrote this,
but that's what they're saying. Becauseapparently there's a lot of pressure in
like the nerves right there, andso when you tape them together, it
releases that pressure and you're in alot less pain. Now is it going
to be unsightly? I guess withmy question because a lot of heels.
(10:33):
You see those toes, right,so would you want to see a piece
of tape wrapped around them? Oryou could only do this in a closed
toes shoe. I mean, Iwould prefer closed toe, but I think
you can use like clear tape, but there's ways to make it not noticeable
tape. I mean, I've gotsome of that my junk. Maybe you've
been a little bit stronger. Youhave a whole junk dred just full of
junct. Where do you keep yourtape? You keep it in the junk
(10:54):
drawer in your kitchen. I dohave one of those. Yes, that's
where the tape goes. I do. So if anyone's tried this, let
me know, because, like Isaid, this could say lives. It
seems like that maybe it helps alittle bit, But isn't there pain and
the rest of your foot and thearch of your foot, and doesn't your
big toe hurt? It's getting samjammed in there as well. Like for
(11:15):
me, it's it's more like theball of my foot. It's like this,
it's all right here, and I'mone of those people where I'm good
at home, I put on myheels or ready to go, and then
as soon as we get out ofthe car, I'm like, ow ow
ow cannot walk. Yeah you're not. You can't group and it's not grouping.
So if there were away like this, like an easy fix, a
simple hack someone, Yeah, weneed somebody to test this out, or
(11:37):
the next time that you like hosta wedding or something where you're going to
be on your feet for a longtime wearing heels as I mean, they're
the best, but the shoe partthat's the worst. Right, you need
to try it at something like that, really put it through the test and
see if you can take it.Tell the difference. Do it on one
foot and not the other? Ohgood, I like it. Yeah.
How's your wife by the way,and heels because she handle it all night
the heels, Oh careful. Sheused to be bowl too because she wore
(12:01):
heels a lot, and she woreheels to work every day. But since
working from home, anytime since thatwe've gone to an event where she's wearing
heels, like we went to awedding recently where she was wearing heels for
an extended period of time, whichshe doesn't ever do anymore. As she
said, it was pretty painful andshe was sore the next or the next
day. Yeah, I can imagine. I don't know how ladies do that.
(12:22):
So you're walking around on your tippytoes all day long, like your
cats cramp up all time, wellnot cramp, but they hurt. Yeah,
it's a full on, wady workout. I don't envy that me either.
All right, one more thing inthe ladies room. All right,
So this woman posted about this situationshe has. She's an only fans model,
and she says from the very getgo, when she started her account,
(12:43):
she had this one. Do youcall him a customer, a fan,
I don't know what you call hima client? A subscribe subscriber who
was very very supportive of her account. Would would pay for you know,
any additional content and would tip wellon there, would request some specific videos
(13:05):
on there and pay well for those. Anything she posted about. This person
was supporting, particularly financially. Soshe got this is like my best subscriber.
Well, she said. Later, when she was setting up something else
on her phone, she got analert that like this. I think it
was like TikTok or something. Shewas added something to TikTok and it was
like, this person is in yourcontact list somehow. She she puts two
(13:28):
and together that this person on heraccount. Yeah, I guess they had
this maybe the same user name theyused on their TikTok. Either way,
she realizes this person is in yourcontact list already and she figures out does
it. It takes a little bitof work, but she figures out it's
her step down now. She says, her stepdad's been in her life for
(13:50):
quite some time, which makes itI don't know, so he's like a
dad. Yes, so I don'tknow if it that makes it worse or
what you know, but whatever,Yes, it's not a good situation.
And she said she immediately brought itup to her mom, and her mom
basically told this guy off and theyhave since gotten a divorce. Thing.
(14:11):
I wouldn't ask you, though,Selena. You catch your stepdad subscribing to
your only fans, are you goingto tell your moms? Yes? How
is that even a question? It'sa very awkward situation. Plus they're your
number one subscriber. You're I'm goingto miss the money you're making All your
money money off them. But doI want my stepdad tipping me for doing
(14:33):
those things? Oh? No,no, you don't, she said.
If you want to talk about familytrauma, my stepdad watched me engage with
my partner for the past two months, So you can imagine how awkward that
would. Oh my god, alsoSICKO, Come on stepdad? Wait,
do they actually show all of thaton Only Fans, Like I've obviously never
been Like, it's it's that,like, it's everything I think On Only
(14:56):
Fans, your content can be whateveryou want to be. Good Again,
I've never been on there, soI don't know. I've never been on
there, so I don't know.Yeah, that's why I'm asking. Would
you tell your mom or your dador whoever if the situation were reversed.
Yeah, I think you have to. You have to. That's an awkward
(15:16):
talk. Your parent deserves to knowthe truth. They do. You're about
to blow up their marriage, butit's warranted because that person is a sick
Oh would you say something though,if that parent didn't even know you were
on Only Fans and now you're exposingyourself as well? Yeah, yeah you
still have to. Yeah, youstill have to. The JV show on
(15:37):
Wilde. Before we get to today'show is Trending, which is always at
the fifty fives, we were justtalking about this stat of forty nine percent
of people admit to pretending to notsee a mess at home so they can
have somebody else clean it up insteadof them. And I was like,
this sounds like something a lot ofhusbands would do. Although we're masters,
but I feel like everyone does that. I do that too, Graham and
(16:00):
Selena. I just want to replyto the percentage of people ignore it a
mess. I am guilty. Iam one of those people. I ignore
it a couple of times just tosee if someone else will clean it up,
fingers crossed that they will, butthey don't. Three kids and one
husband, those four people will notclean up the mess. Love you guys,
(16:23):
have a good day. I likeit so to test the kids out
tot to test everyone in the household. Yeah you want to see that's good.
That's good. I like that.Yeah, but it doesn't She's saying
it doesn't ever work, So itdoesn't. That get frustrating that each time
you ignore this, hoping holding outto the shred of hope that somebody is
finally going to pitch in and dotheir part, and they don't ever do
(16:44):
it. That's got to be veryjust it doesn't work. But I think
knowing that you saw the mess firstand that they walked past it, I
think there's something there so that wayyou can still bring it up to them,
if that does that make sense, and guilt him about it, like
yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, you know what I mean, I
guess a little bit. I thinkit just shows that everybody's oblivious to the
massic side and then there's that exceptone person. It's all the stuff.
(17:10):
Do you need to know what's hotin music, movies, shows, and
the most talked about stories happening todayin the Bay. Okay, so yesterday
last night was the finale Evander PumpRules. Now, this is a season
that got really good. It gotyou know, everyone into the show because
of the cheating scandal. Do youwant to break that down really, quid
quim? Yeah. I have alot of drama on the show this season
(17:33):
because one of the long running coupleson this show, Tom Standival and Arianna,
they've been together many years and TomScandival decided to cheat on her with
another member of the show. Whoalso had been previously engaged to somebody else
on this show is just very alot of can we find somebody else to
hook up with outside of the frontgroup. I think it is always weird
(17:56):
takeaway from this season. Let meask you something before I go any further,
Graham, do I need to sayspoiler alert? We already know you
just gave out the cheating. That'sall we're seeing now. We already know
what happened. We know the greaterstory of what happened, but we don't
know. What we're seeing now ishow it's unfolded and how people are finding
(18:17):
out people on the show are findingout about it, and how they're reacting
to it. So yes, spoileralert, Yes, spoiler alert. Um,
So we saw the moment Tom Scandivaltalks to Lisa vander Pump about the
affair, and he was really, really, really emotional about it. I
didn't want to hurt her. Meand Raquel had every intention of telling Ariana
(18:41):
before the reunion. I would loveto be able to have a conversation with
Throw when she's not so angry atme. I don't know if I'll ever
get that chance, which kills me. That's him crying. His face is
in his hands and he is bawling. He starts like hyper ventilating Felisa about
(19:03):
this so like what he had everyintention of telling her before they shoot the
reunion show that Hey, I wascheating on you, or we had the
intention of telling you that we're Thatdoesn't make it better. Why why did
you cheat in the first place? If you feel so bad about it the
very first time he cheat, Youshould break up with the person before you
cheat on them, obviously, butif it does happen, you should then
(19:26):
break up with them right after,Like, hey, I cheated on you.
Listen to this and we're talking aboutthe finale of vander Pump Rules last
night. Tom, you weren't thatsorry. You don't feel that bad if
there's a scene with you in thekitchen with Raquel just professing your love for
one another. I love you,I love you true? Yes either I
(19:48):
can't either, he said, Ican't kiss you. There's cameras around.
She's like, I can't do iteither. What it's so weird? Oh,
man, Selina, you're killing me. This is I look forward to
watch the show weeklong Friday night witha cocktail. You know you're still gonna
watch I am, but major spoileralert really quick. Arianna was on Watch
(20:11):
What Happens Live with Andy after thefinale of Vanderpum Rules, and he asked
if there was any like suspicions.Did you think something was going on prior
to this moment? Did you haveany inkling that anything was off? Well,
when he would not come home orhe would be out super late,
I would ask him things and Iwould say where were you what were you
doing? And he would say Iwas at Schwartz's. And I would say,
(20:34):
really, let me see your phoneand he would say, sure,
here you go. So I wouldlook at his text. I would look
at his phone, and he wasvery good about concealing the double life and
hiding all of the evidence. Andyalso, you know, brought the news
that we've missed the report yesterday Tomand Rickel have broken up. Raquel dumped
him. Wow, And so Ariannaalso reacted to that, and she says
(20:56):
that she doesn't buy it. Shethinks it's Jess for show, just for
headlines. Because next week the reunionis gonna start airing on Bravo. I
wonder I can see yeah, ButI mean, just because somebody cheated with
someone. They started. This relationshipdoesn't mean it's gonna last and go the
distance. And they were a veryif you watch the show, I don't
see them being a match at all. They are just is his hair fake?
(21:21):
I think he dies it, butit looks like he's got like a
wig on or something. It looksfake. I think it's too big.
I think his hair is real, but don't tell me there's no gray hair
in there by now one of theoldest guys on the show. Come on,
I'm not buying that part of it. Gramla squeezing your story, all
right. A couple of quick thingsto discuss regarding the Oakland City Council meeting
from this past Tuesday night. First, in a unanimous vote, the council
(21:42):
voted to pass an ordinance that wouldmake it a crime to organize and facilitate
a side show. And they havea couple other measures in there to just
try to curb side shows. Goodluck with that, But this new measure
is going to include very expensive finesand even jail time for this, So
they're hoping that's going to help putan end to side shows. It's not
(22:02):
law yet, but one more voteon it next month and it'll probably pass
and then it'll go into effect. And then the other thing the Oakland City
Council did also in a United's vote, was they voted to honor the late
Tupac Shakur and change a portion ofMacArthur Boulevard and name it after That portion
is between Grand and Van Buren Avenues. It's going to be known as Tupac
(22:25):
Shakur Way right there, and there'llbe a commemorative plaque as well. I
love it. Wow, thank you, Graham Um. Next on the JV
Show, let's talk about the firststate in the US to completely ban TikTok.
I have details. Next the JVShow on Wild Grammy, Yeah,
buddy, No, you're excited aboutthis. Selena Gomez. She's going to
(22:45):
be hosting two new shows on theFood Network. Can't wait to take a
good nap? Why do you everneeds something to fall asleep to? Just
she's like so boring. I loveSelena Gomez. So it's in a very
monotone way, with very little energy. That's why I'm sure she's a great
person, very sweet, but Ican only speak to the fact that just
(23:07):
it's very monotone and very slow herand not a lot of energy. So
if you need something to wind downto Golf Channel or any Selena Gomez show,
that's a stupid question. Where wouldone find the Food Network? You
know if you have to have likea cable? Uh huh, I still
do so You'm sure. Just letme go home and I'll find the channel
for you. It is wealthon beforenine at the Bays number one hit music
(23:30):
station. We are the JV Show. I'm Selena and I'm Graham. I
don't forget tomorrow around this time, well exactly at this time, we are
going to be unveiling your waz Matazlineup. You don't want to miss.
If this is the big summer concertsthat you need to be adz tomorrow morning
seven o five, be right here, all right. So Montana, they've
become the first day in the USto completely ban TikTok. This is effective,
(23:53):
I guess as of Wednesday. Thenew law prohibits downloads of TikTok,
and it would find any entity,um whether it be an app store or
TikTok, ten thousand dollars a dayfor each time someone has offered the ability
to access TikTok or to download theapp, and the penalties though, would
not apply to users. So everybodythat's already got it, you're good.
(24:17):
Yeah, just anyone who wants todownload it from here on out you can't.
I mean, they make it soundlike it's a big deal because it's
an entire state that's banning something. But again, we do have to go
back to the fact that Montana's gotroughly the same population as the city as
San Jose. So that's I thoughtit was pretty big Montana, Montana.
(24:40):
It sounds like I think it's Ithink Montana might point one million. Okay,
so there you go. San Jose'sgot I don't know, a little
over a million people. One pointone it's right around is right around the
same number, you're right. Andyou know Montana as a state, you
see it on the map. Ithink it's the fourth largest state in the
content of the United States or inall maybe the United States. It's a
big state, big place, right, Yeah, not a lot of people.
(25:03):
I also just feel like this isn'treally doing anything. Anyone who wants
to download TikTok still will because you'llfind a way. You can cross state
lines. Now you can do it. You're gonna drive up to so adventurous
one. If kids are gonna bedriving over to Canada, you know,
just cross the boarder TikTok north ofthe border. How many people are there
that don't already have TikTok? Isn'tanyone who would want to be on TikTok
(25:25):
already on it? Well, there'sa certain have you got some late bloomers?
Ye have? In the end, there's a certain demographic of people who
are currently nine, ten, elevenyears old maybe haven't been allowed to be
on TikTok yet, but as soonas they hit thirteen or well, it's
waiting till you're thirteen, okay,But don't you think there are kids that
are okay, that are four yearsold right now. As soon as they
turn five, they'll be allowed towell there, but they're not going to
(25:48):
be allowed to They're not gonna beallowed to download. So there's a certain
you know, as people age upand become of user age, then they're
going to be blocked from it.But again, there's very simple workarounds for
this. I'm assuming the good oldfolks in the Montana legislature haven't really thought
through how to actually put this firewallup. Around their state. They probably
(26:10):
think it's made out of actual fire. That's not what it is. Yeah,
this will be interesting to see howthis plays out. Yeah, I
have a feeling it's gonna just blowup in their face. But we'll see.
What do I know. I'd becurious to see if any other states
follow suit as well. I thinkthey're going to try, like some of
them. I'm all for stricter regulationson some of these social media companies.
(26:32):
Given what we've learned that they knewabout what their platforms were doing to young
to teens and young people. Iwant to see some repercussions for that,
and I want to see changes madehow you do that. I don't know.
A flat out band seems like justsomething that's so silly and antiquated,
Like it's just it's not going towork, like we've discussed, there's gonna
(26:55):
be a workaround for people to getit. But should these companies have to
change their practices and procedures? Yes, all right, Graham, what do
you have? All right? Well, if you're thinking about taking a cruise
post pandemic, I actually do wantto never been on a cruise. Me
neither, And that's the problem.I some of these cruise I'm like,
hey, you know what, asmuch as I don't see myself as a
(27:15):
cruise person, it would probably bea good family trip and everything's self contained.
And what about one of those swingerscruises. Would you go on that?
Nope, I'm out on that, because again, do they have those.
I'm sure that. I'm sure that'sa thing. Probably not on the
huge, huge cruise ships, butI'm sure there's some smaller you know,
(27:36):
I mean, you only need onebig room, that's right, Just a
lot of shag carpet and some blacklights. Okay, Well, they're saying
move over COVID. You know, that was the big issue on cruise ships
during the pandemic. The real problemnow is the old stomach bug, norovirus
and some other ones. There's beenquite a few big outbreaks of these on
cruise ships. Recently. One shiphad one hundred and sixty passengers twenty six
(28:00):
crew all reportedly falling ill in justa you know, and just a matter
of days. They say cruise shipsare just ripe for these types of viruses
to spread because they spread well onsurfaces that people have touched. You got
a lot of people coming through touchingthe same stuff and in confined spaces,
So move over, COVID neuro virussays, I'm here, hold my beer.
(28:26):
Would you still now? Do youstill want to go on a cruise
just? I just I want togo. But I it's like, if
it's not one thing spreading on there, it's another thing. Has it always
been like this, though, oris this a new thing? I think
there has always been a higher incidenceof sicknesses going on. They are floating
Petrie dish. Yeah. I feellike now maybe it's just more the news
(28:48):
because, you know, because ofwhat COVID did. Yeah, but I
feel like this is nothing new.If somebody gets sick, it's gonna spread
on a cruise ship because everyone's insuch close proximity. Ye use it on
each other and coffin on one another. You would still find, though,
that the carryover from the pandemic wouldbe that stuff is getting sanitized better and
people are better about washing their hands. And but I guess I'm glad you
(29:11):
brought that up. Really, Iguess it's not why did we stop doing
that? Everyone was on top ofcleanliness and sanitizing everything when it was peak
COVID. Yeah, like Why didgrocery stores stop wiping down the carts?
Can we bring that back? Please? Because those things are so nasty.
You want the like a person standingthere being the cart wiper. That's what
(29:32):
you were doing in twenty one, right, But do you really want that
to be somebody's full time job,the cart wiper? Yes, because I
want my cart wipes. Okay, why does that sound so bru I mean,
I appreciate you should be wiping yourown cart if you asked me,
But it was nice yourself walking intoTarget and someone hands me a freshly wiped
(29:55):
down cart, Well it's nice. What if they just have the little thing
there with the white sticking out soyou can grab one on your way in?
That seems like and a lot ofplaces still have that, I think.
Do they always walk right by thatexactly because you're too lazy to wipe
your own Cart's facts the JV Showon Wilde before we get to Draymond saying
that if he hadn't a punch JordanPool, they would still be in the
(30:18):
playoffs. Um, Grammy said thatthere's a change coming to hot pockets.
I don't like this. Yeah,to take a moment and say you're goodbye
to the crisping sleeve. Wait, why are they getting rid of the crisping
sleeve? You guys don't know, but like hot pockets, those are my
thing. So I was gonna askyou, when's the last time you've had
a hot pockets? It's been awhile since I've had one. They're delicious,
but I just don't buy them anymore. Really, it's a regular thing
in my household. So when likeyou guys all sit down for dinner and
(30:42):
everyone microwaves up there, hot knife, you tuck in our napkin in our
call right here, And yes,I guess, like what I was wondering
what the occasion was, what whatmeal does the hot pocket? It's not
for a meal, just like it'slike a snack, okay, macketizer.
Yeah, I I lift on hotpockets in college. Anyways, the company,
(31:03):
I guess they. I don't knowif they've made an official announcement about
this, but somebody posted a videoshowing the side of the box and it
says, after over thirty five yearsof experience, we've developed the crispiest crust
in hot pockets history. So nowour hot pockets are just as good without
the sleeve. And we eliminate wastetoo. Will be the judge of crispiness,
okay, because I need that crispinsleeve in there. Do we know
(31:26):
if that thing actually does anything.I don't think it did. I think
it made mine soggy, to behonest, I feel like the results were
probably the same as if you wrappedit in paper towel. Who knows.
I mean, there must have beensome reason for it. But I applaud
what they're doing because reducing the waste, that's just one more thing you throw,
one more thing you throw away.So I think that is a good
thing. But people, you gottayou know, that used to protect your
(31:48):
hands from getting scalded. So that'syou might get burned next time you take
your hot pocket out of the microwave. But otherwise, take a moment and
say you're goodbyes to the crispin sleeve. All right, So Draymond earlier this
week he talked to Stephen A.Smith what went wrong with the Warriors after
they were knocked out of the playoffsby We're not even going to say the
team name, Okay, hate them, oh God, cannot say anyone but
the Lakers, anyone but the Lakers. But he said that if he hadn't
(32:14):
have, if he hadn't punched JordanPool before the season started, the team
would have been off to a muchmuch better start. Here's what he said.
We're not playing right now because whenyou speak about the following, when
you speak about all of the slippersthat we had as a team on the
road, not being able to cometogether, none of those things happened.
(32:35):
If that doesn't happen because the voicethat I am in the departments that I
lead this team in, there wasa ton of slippers due to me sitting
back, me not saying anything,me trying to allow that situation to play
itself out and given it time toheal. So he's essentially saying that while
he fell back and gave it timeto heal, he wasn't the leader that
he was supposed to be. Yeah, he couldn't be out there barking at
(32:59):
his ten. That's why they slipped. Um okay, spoiler alert, Draymond.
Yes, the reason that you guysaren't the Warriors still aren't playing is
because you punched Jordan Pool, andthat video got leaked to TMZ and everybody
got to the whole world got tosee it, and that completely fractured that
locker room in the relationship between himand Jordan Pool could not be repaired.
(33:23):
Right now, he's saying that inclassic Draymond then massive ego or whatever he's
got the first thing I was thinking, he's saying, well, yeah,
that, but really, because Iwanted to smooth things over after that that
I wasn't out there yelling at peopleand motivating people the way that I normally
(33:45):
could have. I couldn't bless themwith my leadership skills. That's why we
fell apart. Why And that partreally bugs me. I'm glad that coach
Kerr has come out and said thatbasically that the punch was the thing that
changed the season, and we allacknowledge that. Yes, multiple other parts
of the Warriors organization have acknowledged thatthat was a major, major part of
(34:08):
the failure of this season, andnot because Draymond then couldn't be the leader
in the areas that he's normally theleader. I just I don't know.
I have very mixed to feelings aboutDraymond. I respect his his hustle.
You need somebody like that on thecourt to do a bunch of the intangible
things. He's a good player andgood defender. You need people like that
(34:30):
on your team. Does it?Is it tiresome to see him yell at
the refs every single play, everysingle play. Just sometimes just shut up
and run back. I can't.Some of that stuff bugs me. And
you know, hey, where's mysecond favorite team? King's right now?
Now? Listen something because Draymond canopt out of his contract and become a
(34:51):
free agent and go somewhere else. And I've heard some discussions about what one
team he would could really use himand really need him to take him to
that next step, and that's theKings. So let's stop with the King.
I can't. I can't. Ican't bad melt them too much because
he might be on my squad.Let's get you in the make swift Magic,
Matt. It is Weldon Me fornine. Next the JV Show.
(35:12):
Yep, nope game, It's foryour chance to win. Tickets were sold
out, Beckyg. That's in afew minutes The JV Show on Wild Good

okay, Beckyg. She's coming tothe San Jose Center for Performing Arts
October eighth, and Her show soldout this week. So the only way
you're gonna get into that show isto win your tickets here by playing the
(35:32):
JV show. Yep, nope, game, no pressure, no pressure.
Okay, um, so let's getinto this. It is all brought to
us, by the way, byWSS Warehouse, Shoe Sale and San Jose.
They have a grand opening Saturday morning, ten am on the corner of
Monterey and Curtner Avenue. Who doyou have with you in the car?
Hear a little, a little voice, Um, I have in my three
(35:53):
friends with me? Are they allowedto play as a group? Graham?
Oh, It's depends how old theyare. They are five and under.
I have a two year old anda five year old. Perfect. If
any of them get a question correct, you automatically win. Okay, all
(36:13):
right. Here is a question atnumber one. By the way, you
only have to get three corrects, three out of four and you win.
Sold out Beckag. Question number one. HP is a hech company that makes
printers, computer and computers and accessories. What does HP stand for? Uh?
(36:34):
I don't know that. One?Hewlett Packard is the correct answer?
Oh, great, good old HP. Alright. Question number two the Watergate
scandal led what US president to resignfrom office? The wet scandal. I'm
sorry Watergate. Oh my gosh, how embarrassing. I don't know. It's
(37:04):
Richard Nixon. I wouldn't have knownthat either he was going to be impeached
and then he resigned. I don'tremember what. I don't feel I don't
feel so bad. No, no, yeah, you said you were surprised.
I don't remember Watergate? What is? What is Watergate that you've never
heard of? Water Games only thebiggest US presidential scandal in the history of
presidents up until probably recent memory. But tired to that? Deflate gate?
(37:27):
That was Tom Brady shows great fartgate. Yes, we've had a few
of the Watergate. Wow, okay, alright, alright. Question number three.
The Panthers, Predators, and Hurricaneswere all teams in what pro sports
league? Desiree The Panthers, thewhat are the other the Panthers, the
(37:50):
Predators, and the Hurricanes. Ohmy gosh, that's three out of four.
I don't know. It's okay.The NHL's are hockey teams. Those
are all hockey teams, all right? Question number Question number four, Let's
see if we're gonna make it aclean over four here. How many stripes
(38:14):
are there in the Adidas logo thatI know? Three? Yep, Yeah,
he's out one all right. Savedit at the end, saved,
saved a little bit of face thereat the end. It's all good,
Desiree. You did not win,it was I guess it's not all good.
You didn't win. Sold out,Becky g because you didn't get three
out of four. Correct. ButI'm gonna put you on hold. Don't
(38:35):
hang up. I do want totalk to you a little bit more.
Um. I also want to leteveryone know that was the JV show.
Yep, nope. Game. Wedo it every weekday morning at this time,
seven thirty five. You can alwaysgo back and download the game and
listen back and play along anywhere anytimeon the always free iHeart radio app CRAM.
You said if we get some talkback as you wanted to play.
Yeah, I got some talk backsyou want to play. The first one
is about cruise ships. We weretalking about how you and I both have
(39:00):
said in the past and even currentlyit seems like fun. I'd like to
take a cruise. A little worriedthough about you know, we've always been
a little worried COVID times whatever. And now there's been a bunch of incidents
of people falling ill to things likeneurovirus, like stomach flus and viruses have
I guess this year of cruise shipshave vastly exceeded all previous years. There's
(39:23):
been a bunch of outbreaks. Here'sa talk about about that, Good Morning
JV show. This is Johnny timingthere from Oak, California. We just
took a seven day cruise my wifeand kids, and they're actually pretty clean.
They have hand washing stations before youeat and they watch you wash your
(39:43):
hands. They have sanitizing stations everywhereeverywhere, and they're constantly constantly cleaning the
ship. So I wouldn't worry toomuch about planliness. They have a handwashing
monitor, somebody stands or watches youwash your hands. I mean, I'm
not mad that I like the precaution. I hope they do. But I
(40:06):
mean, if that's the case, and why is everyone still all sickly on
cruise ships? Again, These typeslike nora virus spread very very very easily,
highly contagious. So you wash yourhands, yes, but then somebody
sneezes on that buffet. No,everybody, everybody's got it. The other
thing we were talking about earlier wasthe state of Montana banning TikTok entirely.
(40:30):
Somebody wants to weigh in on that. These kids nowadays, instead of using
TikTok, they should learn how towrite in cursive again, because nobody teaches
cursive no more. Instead of teachingthem how to dance something, learn how
to do cursive kids. Would youlike to respond to that sooner? Instead
of teaching kids how to dance onTikTok, kids need to be learning cursive
(40:51):
any Why for what? When dowe ever sit and write in cursive?
When the last time you wrote anyincursive? Look, I agree that there's
a lot of pointless content on TikTok, right, But you want to know
what else we should teach kids howto write checks instead? You remember the
(41:12):
last time you wrote a check?Writing and in cursive is also pointless.
We've discovered that that has gone bythe wayside, not because because TikTok's come
to town. It's gone by thewayside, just because it's not needed.
Yeah, because it's stupid. Justa little bit coming up inside today's hot
is trending at the fifty five andI'm not trying to I'm not trying to
(41:34):
judge, okay or anything, butthe internet's okay. They're repulsed by Johnny
Depp's teeth, and I'll tell youwhy. Coming up. It's all the
stuff you need to know what's hotin music, movies, shows, and
the most talked about stories happening todayin the Bay. Okay, we got
(41:54):
to get to the bottom of thisnear catastrophic paparazzi car chase with Prince Harry
and Megan Markle because hearing that itobviously sounds really scary, very reminiscent of
how Harry's mom died Princess Diana. So here's what happened Tuesday night. Megan
and Harry and Meghan's mom, They'releaving an award ceremony. They get into
(42:15):
their suv and they have police behindthem, obviously for security reasons. But
then as they drive off, thechase ensues. At some point during this
paparazzi car chase, the suv thatPrince Harry and Megan are and pulls over.
They get into a cab and thenthey start driving away in the cab
and then the MPD officers that weretailing them for security. They try to
(42:38):
trick paparazzi to go another way.I don't think that worked. This car
chase lasted two hours, according tothem, and resulted in multiple near collisions
involving other drivers on the road, pedestrians, and two NYPD officers. Apparently
the paparazzi. They were in likehalf a dozen all blacked out cars,
(43:00):
and they're driving on the sidewalk, and they're running red lights, and they're
driving wrong way on one way streetsand just driving all crazy to get these
shots of Harry and Megan. Iguess, But but why why is it?
Why is it a chase? Idon't can't you just drive to wherever
you're going if you're then if you'reHarry and Meghan, and then park and
(43:23):
then get out of your car.And yes, they could take a picture
of you there, But aren't youused to that? Like I guess,
like, aren't you used to thathappening? At what point does this become
a chase? Because pop Rozzi followsyou guys around, probably fairly frequently,
right, So which point does itbecome a high speed chase? And and
why is there not the option tojust stop, you know what I mean,
(43:45):
like, hey, let's let's endthis chase. Here's what I'm gonna
do. I'm just gonna stop, and then it's not a dangerous high speed
chase where cars are flying over likeit's fast and the furious and they're jumping
from rooftop to rooftop in a youknow, in a Here is the thing,
Graham, we don't even know ifthey were actually driving all recklessly the
way Prince Harry Megan, Markles spokespersonis saying because the NYPD they also released
(44:09):
his statements and to a lot ofpeople, it sounds like they're trying to
downplay the incident. They acknowledge therewas an incidence. A lot of people
thought that Harry Megan were just gladout lying. They weren't lying, but
it does seem like it wasn't ascrazy. The NYPD set on Tuesday evening.
The NYPD assisted the private security teamprotecting the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
(44:30):
There were numerous photographers that made theirtransport challenging, but the Duke and
Duchess arrived at at their destination andthere were no reported to collisions. Summons's
injuries or arrests in regard. Ohso just maybe they exaggerated just a little,
making it sound like just a teencbetter drama. But again, if
you want to end a high speedchase, is say this was a reckless
(44:51):
chase going on, you could juststop because they're not going to the pop
Rozzi is not going to abduct youor rob you, or you know what
I mean. Like I get ifyou're running away from some bad guys,
they just want to take your picture. So just you could roll down the
window and wave and then the highspeed chase is over right then and there
very safely, I might add too, And why is he in white PD
Why is this their job to drivewith them as private security? Got it?
(45:15):
I don't like that. Before weget a winner for post Malone,
will you go to the jbshow dotcom? Yes, everyone, and go
look at Johnny Depp's teeth. Itold you yesterday how he was at the
Canned Film Festival and he got aseven minute standing ovation. People loved him.
Well, there's a lot of picturesof him on the red carpet.
This is where these pictures are from. And I don't know who decided to
(45:36):
zoom in on his teeth. Butthe internet is quote repulsed by them because
they are brown and rotting. Accordingto reports, Seanny, what are you?
What in the I don't know howI got this bad. You've got
tons of money, tons of money. Dental problems is one problem that you
(45:57):
can just throw money at and itsolved, you know. Instance, there
are some problems in life you can'tthrow money at to fix them, but
this is one of This is oneof them. And woo it's bad.
There's a lot going on in there. I mean a lot. Go see
those photos the jbshow dot com waldoneyfor nine. Hi. Who's this?
Hi? This is Lisa? Isit Lisa? Yeah? You know our
(46:22):
winner yesterday. Her name was Lisaor so I thought it was like Richa
or something. Calling are the wrongnames light time? But you are Lisa?
Lisa your collar you guys. Ticketfrom Post Malone. He's coming to
Shoreline August sixteenth. This is courtesyof Live Nation. So you and a
friend gonna be in there. Okay, Oh, thank you so much.
(46:42):
Yeah, you are very very welcome. Do me a favorite. Just hang
on, we'll get some more infofrom you. Everyone. Tickets go on
sale four Post Malone tomorrow morning, ten am Live Nation dot Com. But
we'll also have another free pair tomorrow, same time around seven fifty here on
the JV Show. Grandma, knowyou had a couple of trending stories.
Can we get to those next?Hope you don't mind what why, we'll
do. We'll do, We'll getto them. Yeah, we get to
(47:05):
them. The JV Show on Wildninety nine. I'm so excited for tomorrow's
announcement. I just I don't evenknow if I could hold it in anymore.
I'm getting a lot of d ms. People are wanting to know the
specifics of it, and theory isabout it, and so there's there's a
lot of buzz. What if wejust gave a hint Nope, Nope,
nope, tiny nope. We askedthe bass yesterday and he said no,
(47:28):
but the first letter Nope nope. Can't do that, Nope. One of
the hit songs that'll be performed,No, definitely, not that that's too
much. Sorry, guys, Icannot say anything but be here tomorrow morning,
seven oh five. We are goingto unavail the last Metazza line up
for you. It is well tome for nine to base number one hit
music station, the JV Show.I'm Selena and I'm growing a couple of
(47:49):
baseball things. Yeah, the situation'sgotten well, it's already bad at the
Oakland Call see him this season? We know that. And then things got
really weird. Yesterday, the Diamondbacksare in Take on the A's and pictures
Zach Gallen for the diamond Backs. He's warming up in the outfields, throwing
just some warm up pitches out there, and he says he throws a curveball,
(48:09):
and there's a video up at thejabshow dot com. It's shot from
a little far away, so it'sthey kind of zoom in to show you
exactly what happens. But the ballhits a bird midflight and take a moment,
say you're goodbyes to the bird.He went up in a ball of
feathers and longer. What are thechances? No longer with us? And
(48:32):
that's what a lot of people aresaying, like, what are the odds?
Well, one, what are thediamond Backs doing murdering birds here at
the Oakland Call a sum I mean, we know nobody's there around to watch
games anymore, particularly not warm up, so there's not a lot of witnesses
to this murder, but come on, have some respect for the band bags
not d back exactly. And secondly, the other thing people are saying,
(48:53):
yeah, what are the odds thata baseball strikes a bird? And people's
immediate memories go to back in.I think it was a spring training game
two thousand and one, Randy Johnson. He threw a pitch in again during
a game this was and he threwlike a one hundred mile an hour fastball.
And I don't know if you've everseen that video, Selenette, like
(49:15):
one of the craziest baseball viral videosof all time. That the bird disintegrated.
It like it exploded. There wasn'teven a trace of the bird left
other than some feathers floating in theair. This one hit by a curveball,
So maybe the bird What was goingthrough the bird's mind here, like
I here comes the pitch. Yeah, that's that's probably true. The curveball
(49:37):
a little tougher to judge. Youknow, it's coming in at one height.
Suddenly the ball breaks downward and thenthat's where it strikes. The bird
is like, I'm going to clearthe ball's way over there, and then
yeah, it's up high. Idon't need to swing. I can fly
right under this one. And thenthe curveball, the ball dives and hits
it, and you can see thecatcher whoever he's warming up with. He
kind of jumps back and discussed asI think, as I think the dead
(49:58):
bird unfortunately came to rest right thereat his feet. Do you think they
buried him on the field to givehim a proper funeral? Yeah, like
a little a little plaque out thereon the field would be nice remembrance of
him. All right. Another baseballthing, this video has been going viral
as well. There was a dustdevil that popped up during a youth baseball
(50:20):
game. Sline, you already familiarwith the dust devil. Um, isn't
that a vacuum cleaner? You knowwhat I think it is. I know
you've probably heard of dust bunnies. You know those are cute little dust bunnies,
you know. Yeah, Okay, there's like little just like things of
a little ball dust in your house. Here's usually some dog hair in there,
yeah, and some other stuff. The dust bunnies are cute, But
(50:43):
this, no, I'm talking abouta dust devil and not the vacuum cleaner.
This is a dust Devil's like. It's like a little mini tornado,
like a little twister that pops up, shows up a bunch of dust really
fast. You have to watch thisvideo if you haven't already seen it at
the javyshow dot com. This happensduring a baseball game. A seven year
old catcher. He unfortunately is theone where this little mini tornado pops up
(51:07):
right around him. And he's evencome from exactly start. I think ghosts
have to have started this one.Definitely dust devil. The devil probably start
anyways. This kid's getting swirled upin it, and the umpire sort of
being hailed as a hero. Idon't know he the umpire there, he's
a seventeen year old kid. Aidenhe jumps in there and pulls the kid
out of the dust devil because thatkid's just getting swirled around in there.
(51:29):
And then as fast as that thingarrived, it just disappears and the game
they go right back to playing thegame. The video is bizarre, I
meanest thing. It starts out ofnowhere, so all of that the baseball
hitting the birdsvil. It's at thejab show dot com. Um this is
a really big story. San Franciscohas announced extended hours for their parking meters.
(51:50):
Um, let's talk more about thisnext because a lot of people not
liking this for very obvious reasons. So let's discuss it. Will take your
opinions next. On the JV ShowThe JV Show on Wild nine nine,
Graham says, we have a talkback that I must play Barne Selena and
Graham. I was just calling inwondering if maybe I missed something about Cheenie
(52:14):
not being on the air this week. Anyway, have a great day,
guys. Bye. Um, cheenyis not here that she's not She's not
kidding. I mean, she's beenworking from home posting because of the jav
show dot com for us. Butshe has a lot going on. She
got finals graduation in the midst offinals graduation is descending upon roerty stuff.
(52:36):
Yes, yeah, so there's alot going on with her. So she's
been out for this week. Hopefullyshe comes back soon. Miss her on
the JV Show. Um, thisis a major story. A lot of
people are really not happy. AccordingI'm just reading this right here off a
kron San Francisco extending their parking meterhours in a phased plan that's going to
start this summer. It's according tothe San Francisco Metro Transit Association. So
(52:59):
parking meter hours they're gonna last untilten pm Monday through Saturday and then Sunday.
Remember how there were no parking meterhours you get just park for free.
Yeah, they're adding some No,they're adding parking meter hours, so
you're gonna have to pay now evenon Sundays between the hours of twelve and
six pm. It's total BS,total BS. Can I ask why?
(53:22):
You know? Revenue? Obviously, but did we not have enough before?
Look when I lived here in thecity, Parking meters obviously a frustrating part
of life anybody that works in thecity or has to come into the city
of Parking meters are always frustrating. But a certain number of years ago,
at least, the prices were. They were expensive, but semi reasonable.
(53:43):
You threw a quarter in there,it gave you, It gave you a
decent chunk of time. Right.Yeah, then I don't know, maybe
ten years ago or whatever, theymade the switch where a quarter gets you
like a minute in thirty seconds orsomething like. The race just totally changed,
so it was like ringing, andof course all the meters except you
know, online payment or whatever,or credit card or whatever. And but
(54:07):
because if you tried to ever bringchange out of your cup holder, you're
like, oh, I'll just feedthe meter with some change. A good
luck. You needed to just stackthat thing with quarters. You needed like
eight dollars and quarters to get onehour or something. It got ridiculous and
that rate change really bugged me.And then they started extend and then they
started extending the hours after that,so it's like the rates went up.
(54:27):
Then they started Okay, well, now the meters are going to run till
seven o'clock at night or whatever, and now they're doing Sundays too. Yeah,
it's bs. We have enough wehave to worry about and pay for.
Now we have to pay for parking. I wish we already had.
We got to pay more. Doyou want people to come back to San
Francisco and enjoy this city? Doyou want tourism to rebound? You want
(54:49):
people to come back and frequent thebars, restaurants, shops and things in
the areas that they have not beenreturning to yet in the city. You
should be offering free parking. Youshould be paying. Literally, you need
to be incentivizing people to drive backin the seat. Nobody wants to drive
here to begin with. And thenyou got to deal with looking for parking,
and then when you finally find thatspot, it's going to cost you
(55:10):
more money. Yep, it doesn'tmake any sense. And they're hitting the
tourists first. Like I said,it's going to be rolled out in phases,
so starting July first, that's whenphase one is going to roll out.
Of course, they're going to startat Fisherman's Wharf. That's right,
And I used to live right downby there, and trust me, parking
there's the worst. It's all right, it was already bad. And then
phase two that's going to begin inSeptember. I just it would be one
(55:34):
thing if San Francisco said, look, we're we're gonna start, you know,
raising the prices on parking meters,We're extending the hours because you know
what, we're gonna do more patrolsso that your car doesn't get broken into
while you're parked there. Give mesomething. What am I getting back as
the as the consumer here, asthe parker? What am I getting?
If you're providing an extra service? And you have more security or some thing.
(56:00):
What am I getting back now? It's one of the reasons why I
don't really care to come to thecity. Obviously I come for work,
but on the weekends, I don'twant to deal with all this, you
know, on a Sunday, giveus one day, Um, really quick,
Graham, Yeah, I have anevent on Saturday. I just have
a question. I don't even knowif you can answer this for I can
(56:20):
answer me everything. Are you sure? Yes, I'm looking at like the
invites huh it says the the attireis here we go spring festive. What
does that mean? Okay? Yeah, I can't it's a spring festival.
Does that mean you know? Colorscolorful? Okay? Yes, I'm bright.
All I have is black, maybea large hat, big hat,
(56:43):
spring good spring hat. I callit a Napa hat because you see,
all everybody that comes to town towine taste, all the ladies are wearing
their Napa hat. Maybe a nicemaybe a nice Napa hat and a nice
floral print dress of Kentucky Derby.Yeah, I was gonna say that,
think Kentucky, how you dress forthe Kentucky Derby. I don't have any
of that stuff. You don't know. I can't see you wear an a
(57:04):
hat like that. You should, though you should. This is your one
time that you can break it out, A big ribbon on it, colorful
ribbon, don't know, I don'tknow that's to be doesn't doesn't seem like
you. So you're going to wearall black? I take it that's all
I have, or a dark graythe JV show on Wilde Okay, I
was just telling Graham and you howI have an event on Saturday. I
(57:28):
was looking at the invitation information andthe attire says spring Festive. I'm like,
what the heck is spring festive?Graham, you said colorful, probably
your big hat stuff like that.I don't have any of that. We
have a talkback. Good morning. It's Naomi and South City Selena. Check
out the Facebook group Fancy Free sF. You can put an io in
(57:52):
search of forum a dress to wearto that event for spring, like a
pretty spring dress, and you wouldbe surprised. People will come through with
some amazing stuff that you can haveor borrow or have for free. It's
amazing. Check it out on Facebookfancy Free. I'm not sure free I
(58:14):
feel about borrowing a stranger's dress.Yeah, but don't. They're sites like
rent the runway and stuff like that. My wife has talked about that.
Maybe even use them before you getyou get the thing cleaned. It's a
it's a it's a dress. It'sget something for free. I would trust
that because it's a company. Iwould trust them that it's clean. But
you could get it clean. Idon't want to worry about it. It's
(58:36):
save It saves you the cost ofhappening, or you can go buy something
brand new that a lot of money. That's true. That's true. Time
for that. Run this thing throughthe wash. Like it? But will
I do it? Probably not?But I don't like it, but I
like it. Yeah. It's allthe stuff you need to know what's hot
in music, movies, shows, and the most talked about stories happening today.
(59:00):
All right, So Chloe Kardashian isdenying taking Tristan Thompson back for christ
of time. Now. I knoweveryone is saying that they're back together.
They're always together, They're always doingthings. He's always at her house and
you know vice versa. So rememberat the last game with the Warriors lost
(59:21):
to I'm gonna say the name,Yeah, and then Kim Kay and North
were sitting courtside and they're supporting Tristan, and everyone's like, oh my god,
he's clearly back in the family.I mean, that's what it looked
like. So Chloe finally fired back. She said, stop pushing this narrative.
It's tiring. But I suppose youguys will continue the narrative you want
regardless of what I say. Sowhat's the point. Most people are stuck
(59:45):
at believing the lies because it's thenarrative they want to fuel. Have fun.
Some things are just as simple asthey seem. A family member supporting
another family member, especially during adifficult time in life. That's it.
Who Tristan Thompson's in a difficult timeof life. They're supporting someone especially in
a difficult time. Yeah, hismother passed recently. So and that's when
(01:00:07):
Chloe really reached out to him.Together ever since. But clearly they're not
together. So she's off dating whocurrently, m oh nobody Tristan. Yeah,
because she's her Tristan her back together. Yeah, we're never not together.
Um, let's talk about AI reallyquick. Tom Hanks is opening up
(01:00:29):
about AI in movies. Um,we talk about it. A lot here
on the JV Show, and alleyes are on AI technology in film right
now, especially with Indiana Jones andThe Dial of Destiny debuting at the Canned
Film Festival. This film used AIto d h Harrison Ford, so he
looks like he did in the eighties. Wow, which is crazy. Um.
(01:00:49):
So Tom Hanks is on a podcast, a podcast, and he said
that using AI in film is anartistic challenge obviously, but also a legal
one. I think we've already wealready kind of knew that. He reveals
that all of the guilds, theagencies and legal firms are currently discussing right
now the legal ramifications of this andlike how they can protect actors who want
their likeness protected. So that's somethingthat Tom Hanks is looking into. He
(01:01:15):
also brought up a good question though, Graham, and I want your answer
on this. He said, youknow, with you know, people dying
and they can still appear in movies. He's like I can get hit by
a bus tomorrow but still come outin movies and look like I did when
I was thirty or whatever. Yeah, he said, without a doubt people
will be able to tell that it'sAI. But the question is will they
care? Would you care? Wouldyou still go watch a movie? I
(01:01:39):
don't know. That's a tough questionto answer, because if it's it would
seem weird, right, But asit becomes more the norm, are we
going to care? And as itlooks more and more and more seamlessly real,
is it gonna bug you? Idon't think it would really bug anyone.
I mean, we watch movies allthe time that aren't necessarily real actors,
(01:02:00):
real people. Yeah, you know, I mean it you had to
get over the fact that maybe thisperson passed away or something. But I
can get over that. I thinkI'm still gonna watch. It's gonna stink
for people who are alive actors whoare like, I'd be perfect for this
role, and they're like, no, we're going to cast the free guy
because he's you just have to paysome royalties on him, and the computer
will take care of everything and wecan coach him how to act in these
(01:02:22):
scenes. So easy to work with, so easy, doesn't even need a
trailer, never takes a bathroom breakever, always on time, always.
And't it weird that AI and alot of these programs are gonna take over
all that A lot of that editingand stuff. You're not gonna need a
human person sitting there editing each frameand some of the CGI stuff. Pretty
(01:02:43):
soon the computer will be like, dude, I got this, watch this
and make the computer will make thewhole movie. Wow. More jobs eliminated
is here. The future is here, Graham. What do you have?
All right? The accused killer ofCash app founder Bob lees Do back in
court today. Niema mo Many isbeing charged with fatally stabbing Lee. We
know in the early hours of Aprilfourth. We've since learned that the two
(01:03:04):
knew each other really well, andthat Lee was also possibly involved with Momeni's
sister Momenti was arrested eight days laterat his apartment in Emeryville, and his
defense attorneys say that he's innocent ofthis crime, and they point to the
fact that he never fled like look, he never tried to run away,
so he's got to be innocent.Today's court appearance, he we'll see about
that. Today's court appearance is hisofficial arraignment on the charges. This is
(01:03:28):
something that they've tried to do twicealready, but both legal teams weren't ready
at the previous hearings. So todayit will finally happen. I think the
first they first tried to arrange him, like several weeks ago, and maybe
three four weeks ago. It mighthave been a month ago and they couldn't.
I don't know. So today itwill finally, Today will finally happen.
All right, thank you Graham theJV Show on Wild nine nine.
(01:03:52):
Happy Thursday. Yay. I'm Selenaand I'm Graham. So excited. Tomorrow
is Friday. Don't forget we gotthat announcement seven oh five. Yes,
you don't want to miss that.WAZ all over the place. You don't
do that mean out of excitement.Sometimes you get too exciting everywhere. I'm
so gross. It's not I'm talkingabout who what you're talking about about it.
(01:04:17):
It's a big announcement. It's hugepeople. I think people are gonna
be driving around in their cars andthey're gonna WAZ right there in the car
out of excitement. Can I askyou something grand? Would you ever want
to take like a bromance, aone on one course? The hell is
that there's a teacher arguing and notarguing, but expressing that he feels schools
(01:04:41):
and other teachers should I guess starta bromance one on one type of course
for teen boys. And it's thetackle toxic masculinity, right. And the
thinking behind this is that, youknow, teen boys, they should be
exposed to good models for bromance withother cloth strong male friendships. They should
embrace this instead of the more toxicones where you've got to be like strong
(01:05:06):
man. We all know what toxicmasculinity is. Yeah, but the thinking
is here that we should have aclass of the boys to and and we
should you know, shy away fromthe bad banter, the name calling,
the mockery, the verbal abuse andfriends, then that's what we do to
each other, that that locker roomtalk not allowed you shy away from that
(01:05:29):
not healthy jokes? What about allthe jokes they don't get to tell them
anymore, dad jokes only. Oh, this class stinks. Um. And
these advising teachers to also be inthe lookout for body image insecurities. This
is coming from a place of ignorance. Do boys also struggle with that?
Because I don't girls do. Really, every person, I don't care who
(01:05:50):
you are, male, female, whatever, everybody has an insecurity. Everybody.
Everybody struggles with with something the bodyrelated into you were younger. I'm
sure, I'm sure I did.I mean I went into high school.
I went into high school. Ithink my freshman year I was probably five
(01:06:11):
five and one hundred and five pounds. I was tiny, you know me
like I was tiny and skinny.I could put it, couldn't put anyway
to everybody has something, everybody itall stages of life. Don't you think
that kind of ties back into whatdo I need a class for that?
Well? Maybe if if it's gonnahelp you feel like you don't need to
be taller, bigger, stronger, like you're fine the way you are.
(01:06:31):
We other than I grew so,so then you were really fine. Problem
top down at sixteen, you needto take bromance. When Bromance, I'm
gonna take this class, and thenthey're gonna be like, Okay, Graham
and uh Timmy come up here. We're gonna have you guys give each other
a bro hug? Like is thatwhat we're gonna all right, everybody,
let's let's critique how they give eachother a bro hug. Let's let's learn.
(01:06:54):
Let's let's learn how to give eachother normalize bro hugs. Let's normalize
hugs already, and my buddies ahug? Do you every time I've planned
to kiss on their cheeks? SometimesI like that, you know, we're
we're we're all bros. Is thisnext is the younger generation. They're not
familiar with the bro hug and theand a bromance and having close I don't
(01:07:15):
close other male friends. I think. I think for a lot of guys,
you don't get comfortable with the hug, you know, physical touched romance
until you're older. Okay, maybeat least I think. I don't know.
I've never been a teenage boy.I will, yeah, never been
a teenage boy. I don't knowthose are They're awkward years, but they're
(01:07:36):
for everyone. They're awkward for foreverybody. I don't know that we need
a class for it. But okay, Idea, Graham, you have something
I do. I just read aboutthis story. Listen to this. This
is crazy. So a plane wentdown May first, remote part of Columbia
in the Amazon, you know, the very forested, you know, heavy
(01:07:56):
rainforest area. Plane crash. They'vebeen looking for this plane crash since the
first of this month. There wereI think seven people on board. They
just found just this morning, foundfour kids that were on this flight and
they are all alive. Sadly, the adult passengers on this plane, three
adults and the mother of these children, unfortunately did not survive in this crash.
(01:08:20):
They found the crash and found theadults. They found the crash site,
but didn't find the kids anywhere,so then they spread out and kept
searching. They found I think theplane earlier this week, and then they
went looking for the kids. Listenedto these kids ages eleven months, four
nine and thirteen. They ventured awayfrom the crash site and survived, making
(01:08:43):
they say, little like you know, a little like a little fort house
thing and stuff and lived on fruitsand stuff in the jungle this entire time.
And there's an eleven month old withthem. This is incredible, I
mean, very tragic situation, butalso I mean just incredible, Like I
was blown away when I read thisstory this morning. Props to them because
(01:09:04):
me, as a twenty six yearold adults, I don't even know if
I'd be able to do any ofthe things that these kids could. I
live off the lands, probably notsurvive for a couple of weeks in the
jungle. I mean, that's ascary, the Amazon scary. It could
be scary place for these kids todo that and then to take care of
one another. That's amazing and didyou do it? And it also speaks
(01:09:26):
to how remote where they were becauseit took them this long for searches.
You know, they had hundreds ofpeople in the military and everybody out searching
form it took them this long tofind them out there. I feel like
I could survive, like you could. I feel like you'd be like you
were made for this. But atage four, at age nine, I
don't know, you know, thesekids were young. It's incredible. Blown
(01:09:46):
away by this story. That's sosad though the adults that did not make
it right, but props to them. Wow, that's crazy. And they
did it without Wi Fi, seventeendays, no roadblocks out there in the
jungle, surviving on their own.The JV Show on Wild ninety four nine
