(00:03):
This is how we do it.You're waking up in the morning. I
will give you a billion Tiff inthe morning points if you can tell me
what movie that was from makes megiggle Every time I hear that song,
I think of that quote. Youshoot me a DM or leave me a
talkback with Tiff on the I Heardapp. You'll see the microphone next to

(00:25):
the play band. It was quick, so your brain has to be working
fast this morning to catch him.Now we're gonna talk about weddings, right,
it feels like wedding season, especiallywith yesterday's weather. And am I
here to knock any bridezillas or anythinglike that, Although I do love a
good bachelor and a bachelorette tea fromtime to time. But no, I'm
curious if anyone else has experienced this. You spend a good amount of money

(00:48):
celebrating someone's wedding and then two yearslater you get this phone call from them.
Let me set the scene for you. So, my best friend,
Hannah lives in la We went toschool together in Boston. When we were
together two weekends ago, she's like, hey, do you remember my friend?
We were like, yeah, shehad gone to They live in La,

(01:11):
They did a bachelorette party in Miami, they did a wedding on the
East Coast, where she's originally from, and then they did a wedding in
the South of France. Okay,so three major celebrations for this wedding in
the time. Yeah, of courseit's a trip to the South of France,

(01:34):
etc. Two years later, shegets a phone call from her that
says, yeah, the relationship isn'tworking out. We're in the process of
getting a divorce twenty four months withinthe twenty four after the wedding in the
South of France. And listen, should this be your first reaction? No,

(02:00):
shouldn't. But I'm gonna just callit out like I know it is.
Your first inclination is to be like, oh my god, I spent
so much money on that wedding. Then followed by, of course heartbreak for
your best friend. Right, whois you know suffering obviously some really intense
emotions and divorces and separations and relationship. I know, not the divorce part.

(02:23):
I know that relationships are very delicateand breakups are really really hard.
Trust me, I'm familiar with thatscene. But that is so much money
to spend on a wedding immediately followedwithin two years by a divorce, and
so of course our same question. We have the same question what happened,

(02:46):
Like, how would you go throughwith not one, but two, but
three big, big, big celebrationsif you were unsure about the wedding And
when Hannah had asked her, shehad said, I don't know. I
kind of felt it in the momentthat it wasn't right, but I was
just trying to force it to makeit feel right, which is sad in
general, because you got someone inyour inner circle, it might even be

(03:06):
you that has felt that before, and you just so desperately want it to
work out and it doesn't. Buton the other side of the table,
Hannison, they're like, mmm,I'm here for you, girl. But
at a wedding in the south ofFrance, a bachelorette party in Miami,
and then an additional wedding on theEast Coast when you live in LA that's

(03:27):
at least at least eight thousand dollarsat least. So I'm just curious if
anyone has experienced something like this before. Granted, the bride is, you
know, now moving on and willeventually feel you know happiness and joy,
right, of course, I knowthat relationships are delicate. So that's why
I said, I'm not out here, you know, talking about bridezillers or
anything. I'm just curious if thathas happened to anyone else but my friend

(03:53):
Hannah. So if you are inthe same boat five win three seven four
nine one oh seven one, I'mcurious to hear from you. Commercial free
in the meantime, if you wantto just hang out, ba baby,
good morning. You're waking up withTiff in the morning on Kiss one oh
seva one commercial free. That clipwas from Step Brothers. This is Kaz
from Independence. This is how wedo it, shot out to both Caaz

(04:19):
and Becky mccargu She DM me andyou guys got it right. Yes,
that clip was from Step Brothers. If you're just walking into this, I
played it in our last hour andasked if anyone else understood my sense of
humor. All right, you've gota billion points to using your Tiff in
the Morning bank for whenever you needthem. I'll just keep those safe for
you. We're in the midst oftalking about weddings, and like I said,

(04:40):
I'm not out hunting for bridezilla's althoughI do love some tea from time
to time, don't get me wrongon that one. My best friend Hannah
and I were chit chatting when wewere both in Boston. We went to
college together a couple of weekends ago. When we were you know, back
there. She had told me,Hey, you remember that friend. I
went to the wedding in the EastCoast, the bachelorette party in Miami,
and then the wedding in the southof France. She got a phone call

(05:02):
from the bride that two years later. Relationships not working out now. Granted,
you know, divorces are very delicate. Of course, of course you
feel for your friend. But Isaid, Hannah, like, you must
have spent ten thousand dollars on thatwedding celebration. What happened. Yeah,
we're not going to go into itbecause I already talked about it at length.

(05:23):
But I'm out here searching for otherstories because I'm just curious if anyone
else has done this, And youknow, shout out to Emily, who
is pretty vulnerable with me on Instagram. She DM me and said this was
me. Actually, uh at myex and I had a gorgeous destination wedding
and a beautiful tropical honeymoon. Almosttwo years later, he walked out never
came back with no explanation. Oh, I felt so bad for what the

(05:46):
people went through and I felt soled on, But I have moved on
and my boyfriend is absolutely wonderful.Good Emily. I think most people know
these days that relationships don't always worktrue. I always have appreciated the support
I had when I got mad,and I hope for that again someday.
Of course, like I said,it's delicate right when your friend says,
hey, my relationship's not working out. But on the flip side, I

(06:11):
just felt for Hannah, I mean, ten thousand in the hole after it
didn't work out, and the bridekind of knew going into it that she
didn't feel at one hundred percent shecan't be alone. So if you've got
more, you're more than welcome tojoin the show. Commercial free, let's
get into some Mariah Care. Andby the way, we're not far off
from the three things you need toknow coming up at eight fifty
