When you need to know she's gotyou. It's three things with tif on
Well, bj said that if Ibuzzed it and bleash it, he would
do it too, So now everybody'sgot to hold him accountable because he's got
to do it in the next week. I got bored. There you have

(00:24):
it. If you didn't recognize thevoice, that was our quarterback Joe Burrow
reporting yesterday and Bengals everyone reported yesterday, And of course it didn't take long
into the press conference for people tobe like, hello, what was the
thought on the hair? And nowwe know? Now we know it.
Really it was spoken kind of likea true eighth grader. Sarah and I

(00:44):
were like, jail is it jailbird? Is the buzz cut more like
a jail bird vibe? Or isit more like eighth grade? And getting
bored that that's giving eighth grade tome? Still looks great, Still excited
to play. I'm starting to lookforward to preseason, which were only a
couple days away from which is nota sentiment I usually care. I'm usually
the one that's hanging onto summer fordear life. But you can just start

(01:07):
to feel the buzz around here, like literally everyone's getting asided. Marius Mims
looks like he's going to be playingthis year and that was not expected.
But here we go, here wego, getting ready for Bengals season.
All right. Second, in threeThings you Need to Know this morning,
let's talk about movies. So theDeadpool movie coming out is I think it's

(01:30):
going to be huge. It releasestonight, if not already out. And
the why am I having such ahard time like putting words to my mouth
right now? My god, bothRyan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman were on a
fallon here they are. We cannotwait for you to see the movie.

(01:53):
People are saying that this film couldsave the Marvel cinematic universe. What maybe
smite even democracy? Speaking of democracy, Joe Burrow, Joe Burrow, Oh
my god, guys, Joe Bidenspoke last night for the first time addressing
the nation with that. I'm hearingthat Wolverine has over one hundred and fifteen

(02:15):
f bombs in it, So you'llhave to see if you can do the
math while you're there. And then, finally, in three Things you Need
to Know this Morning, in thesame vein of movies, I found this
surprising, but inside out too isnow the highest grossing animated film of all
time, taking in over one pointfour billion. I'm hearing it's going to
be in theaters for one hundred daysbefore it hits streaming, and that comes

(02:37):
out in September. That is threethings you need to know for the twenty
fifth of July. Best way tokeep listening to Kiss one oh seven one
this morning is on the iHeartRadio Apple. We're commercial free at seven oh five.
You're waking up with fifth in themorning, Kiss one O seven to
one. Yes, good morning. We're gonna play a little bit of Olympic

(03:05):
trivia. So if you want towin a family four pack of tickets to
co sign, and you think youcan answer a few Olympic questions, feel
free to give me a call rightnow. I'll take callar ten five win,
three seven four nine one oh sevenone. Olympic Games kickoff at least
like the I think there's something startingtoday, but the official opening ceremonies are

(03:27):
tomorrow, and I'm gearing up.I'm reporting on the Olympics for all of
iHeartRadio across our country, so youknow I'm working on a few things,
working on a few kinks with you. If you allow me to do that.
If you didn't know this, theOlympic gold medal is made entirely from
real gold. True or false false. The last series of Olympic medals to

(03:49):
be made of solid gold were awardedat the nineteen twelve Summer Olympics. Olympic
gold medals are required to be madefrom at least ninety two point five percent
and silver, and then must containa minimum of six grams of gold.
If you play trivia, Tuesday nightsis a big night for trivia. If

(04:10):
have any Olympic questions come up foryou yet? If so, there you
go, I've got one for you. I want to excuse me. An
Olympic gold medal is not made entirelyof gold, and the last time they
did that was nineteen twelve. Trueor false. Ice hockey and figure skating
were both originally part of the SummerOlympics. True. When was the last
time that they did them together? It was during my lifetime. It was

(04:32):
during my childhood where they used todo Summer and Olympic in the same year,
and then they started splitting them up. I feel like it was sometime
in high school or college. ButI'm looking forward to it. So five
went, three, seven, four, nine windows SEB one. If you
haven't already started dialing, and youwant to play some Olympic trivia for the
family, four pack of tickets tokosaid, good luck, May the odds

(04:54):
be ever in your favor. You'rewaking up with Tiff in the morning.
One, good morning. You caughtus at a great time, perfect timing.
We're getting ready to play. Doyou think you got what it takes
to play a little tiff triv Wedon't know that. We're gonna try.

(05:17):
Here we go, coming in forCincinnati, Ohio. What's your name,
by the way, what neighborhoodre youin? All right? Aaron from Coleraine.
Here we go, family four packettickets to Kosai on the line?
True or false? There were twonew events added to the Paris Olympics this

(05:41):
year. True yep, correct, break dancing and kayak cross or two to
look out food. Who is themost decorated Olympian of all time? I
had pictures of this man cut outand put on my wall growing up.
Michael felt, congratulations, you gotit twenty eight medals in total, and

(06:08):
I've got I remember this is whenlike color printer ink was so expensive and
I was just ripping through it atmy house growing up, printing on pictures
of Michael Velts. The different colorsof the Olympic rings represent different countries?
How many colors are showcased on therings? Fine? You got it?
Blue, black, red, yellow, and green? And then lastly,

(06:33):
in what country did the Olympics originate? No? Close, We're going to
give it to his grease. Gay. Congratulations, you just scored the family
four back and tickets to Kosai andyou are a winner in TIFFs, TIFFs
Olympic trivia. Thank you for wakingup with it in the morning every day.

(07:00):
I appreciate you. We love kissin the morning. That's why my
daughter's going every day. I loveit. Okay, I'm gonna put you
on hold. I'll be back injust a couple of minutes. Can you
hang tight? Okay? Yeah, yeah, Lenn, you need to know

(07:21):
she's got you. It's three thingswith Ti. Hi, good morning.
We're just before eight o'clock at eightthirty eight, Another chance for you to
win a family four pack of ticketsto Kosai up in Columbus to see that
Titanic exhibit before it wraps up onLabor Day weekend. I'm gonna get to
the Joe Burrow audio in just asecond here, but I'm gonna hold myself
accountable to you because I promised Iwould place some audio from President Joe Biden

(07:46):
once he did make his announcement andaddress the public yesterday. Here's just a
quick clip for you, a reviewof this office. I love my country
more. It's been the honor ofmy life to serve as your president,
but in the defensive democracy, whichis a stake I think is more important
than any title. With that beingsaid, he's been in public service for

(08:09):
over fifty years. All right,Joe Burrow sat down all the Bengals.
They are. All the players showedup yesterday for training camp. We're reporting
we're just a couple of days,a couple of Sundays away from a preseason
officially starting here at least game wise. And it didn't take very long out
of this press conference for them toask him about the bleached buzzy. Well,
Bjay said that if I buzzed itand bleached it, he would do

(08:31):
it too. So now everybody's gotto hold Hi accountable because he's got to
do it in the next week.I got bored. It's about it.
I think we need the fans inthe media to hold him accountable if he
doesn't do it. So I'm countingon you guys. First couple of days
was definitely a little shocking. WhenI woke up, I would say,
but I've gotten used to it.I feel like that's the same case.

(08:54):
The shock is starting to wear off. I feel like the same way that
he does in that front. Allright. And then finally, in three
Things you Need to Know this morning, it's been a busy week for concerts
alone. Last night we had AlanisMorris at at riverbm Olivia Rodrigo at Rapperena,
and Tate McCrae at the Brady. We're gonna start off with Olivia Rodrigo
at Rapperina. Still hits. That'sone thing about Olivia Rodrigo is that her

(09:35):
voice strong when you hear it whileyou're listening to the radio or streaming,
but even in person at award shows, it's still very powerful. She had
a special moment with a fan inAtlanta. This a little cringey for me,
but two each his own. OliviaRodrigo helps someone with a gender reveal
in her last show before hours. You're hung all right. Now we're gonna

(10:01):
take a little detour back to Cincy. Last night Tate McCrae at Icon.
Oh how much this means the worldto me? And every single night that
I get to perform for you guys, So lust I'm really excited to me
So I love you so much.I'm for sials. What was? And

(10:22):
then you'll have to let me knowif you went to Atlantis Moore sent That
is three things you need to knowfor the twenty fifth of July coming up
at eight twenty. If you've watchedthe DCC doc on Netflix, there's a
certain part in there about wages inpay and when you're supposed to ask for
more money. Julie on the Jobis going to join us next in career
happiness, So don't go far. You're waking up with fifth in the morning

(10:43):
time kiss one one good morning.Career happiness is the keyword. You're gonna
need to lock in for the familyfour pack of tickets to co Sye up
in Columbus. And you know why, Julie on the Job, she's our
show's career mentor. I got topick your brain on this DC documentary.
The Dallas Cowboys have taken over thefeed over the last saturn a month or
so. But in episode one theytalk about how essentially the cheerleaders just for

(11:09):
a long time worked for the funof it and even still to this day
don't even make a lot of money. Are you at DCC, No,
you don't know what it is.No, it's in my watch list.
I definitely want to see it.I love those kind of things that have
to do really with work in people'scareer. Correct. So the DCC doc
highly recommend it on Netflix. Ifyou've seen it, you know exactly kind
of where I'm going to go withthis, and this is pay There is

(11:31):
a certain part in the documentary oneof the first episodes the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders
are essentially their own entity within theNFL. Then you have the Dallas Cowboys
themselves. It's said and believed thatthe DCC girls bring in so much money
to that organization, and it's beenaddressed that they don't really get paid their

(11:52):
value in their worth, and inthe documentary, the woman that's in charge
of essentially the branding for the DCCgirls said, well, they're really just
kind of happy to be here. Now I'm paraphrasing some of the lengthy statement
that she made, and whether youbuy it or you don't, that was
a line that was used in there, that they're just happy to be there.
At what point in your career worldis it, Hey, I love

(12:16):
this work so much that I'm goingto keep doing it for free, kind
of like what I love about radioand voiceover work versus all right, now
I really need to start bucking upand ask him for money, Like what
is that balance? You know foreach of us it's different. But here's
what I tell you about the Dallascowboyd chear leaders, and everything goes back
to econ one oh one. Thereis apparently they are not having a problem

(12:37):
finding young women to work for minimumwage, so there is no incentive for
them to either give them a raiseor share in the profits or revenue that
they bring in. And so whenthere is that situation, you know,
you don't often see change. Now, if all of a sudden they had
nobody applying or you know, thethat they want applying, then they'd have

(13:01):
to make a change. This istrue whether it's you know, Dallas Cowboys
cheerleaders or any other organization that hirespeople hiring is supply and demand. And
one of the other examples I thinkof, and it's kind of related,
is I've talked to people who Ireally want to be work for a major
league team or you know, etcetera. For the sports administration. Typically,

(13:22):
especially those entry level or lower leveljobs for those organizations are such that
they don't pay well, but there'sso many people who want them that they
don't have to pay well. Andso that is the calculation that goes on
with employers. What's that right numberthat I know I'm still going to get

(13:45):
the caliber people I want? Ohyeah, and these girls are lined up
by the hundred sure to try outfor this position that pays not really a
lot. So yeah, what amI supposed to do if I want to
be a part of it? Ijust that's it the other side of it.
So for the applicant side, there'sa calculus that goes on for all
of us when we hire, whenwe apply for a job, it is

(14:07):
what are what are the benefits? What am I getting out of this?
Not just health benefits, but Imeaning a benefits to my career? What
are the good things about this job? What's it going to prepare me for
In other words, what how amI going to be able to use this
platform to jump off to something elseat some point? Is it worth?

(14:30):
What is sort of the the sexinessof the job, the fame, the
fortune, the exposure, you knowall that, Right for some people,
that's very compelling, but not foreverybody. So everybody who applies they go
in knowing, yeah, the payis you know, kind of crap.
However, if I do this, here are all the benefits to my career

(14:50):
and my life that I'm going toget. So that's what you have to
think about it going into it.Then any any job, and I find
that those potential that go into ajob and they are not happy with the
pay that they're making. It's theones that are you finding where they say,
well I can get this and thisand this, and they work towards

(15:11):
that that they get something out ofit, yeah, versus those that just
go in and complain about the paynot being great. They get nothing out
of it, right, right,So if you take this job, you
know what the pay is. Like, It's true with any job, you
know what the pay is. Andso if you're if you're taking a job
grudgingly because but you're kind of madthat they're paying you so little. You
aren't going to show up well. You aren't going to get any salary increase

(15:33):
at any point, and you're justgoing to walk around, you know,
stealing coffee pods because you're upset thatyou know that you're not getting paid well.
And that's just a terrible way tolive. And so I think always
starting with what do you want what'smost important to you out of your next
job. I know people that sayhealth benefits is my number one priority for

(15:58):
now because of my life, andother people who say it's pay or it's
the opportunity to align with an organizationthat makes a difference. So you have
to you have to rank those thingswhat is most important to you, and
that's how you go forward and thensay no to any opportunity that doesn't give
you that. Julie on the Jobis our career mentor if you've got a

(16:22):
question for her, Julie Bouki orthe Buki group rather dot com, be
a uk E or Julie on thejob on all social platforms. Thanks Julie.
Are you going to be a DCCcheerleader? Now? Never? Ever,
on my best day would that havebeen in my wheelhouse. But the
good news is I know it becauseyou're waking up with Stiff in the morning
on Kiss one O seven to one, good morning. I'm hoping you have

(16:45):
a keyword for me. Hey,it's a keyword. Job, happy,
after career, You got it,girl, you got you. Combine them
both under one and I love it. Congratulations, Thank you, You're so
welcome. You're going to COSI amazing. I'm so excited my nieces and that
they are moving back here from Florida, so I can't wait to take them.

(17:08):
O great, what's your name? What neighborhood are you calling me from?
Or what neighborhood are they moving back? To Tim from Lovelin? Okay?
Cool? Thank you for listening toTip in the morning every day.
I appreciate you. Thank you.Have you seen the Dallas Cowboys documentary?
No I haven't, but I waslistening to everything you guys were talking about
earlier. That makes total sense. And actually I had a coworker recently get

(17:33):
promoted and it was a job shewas super excited about. But because they
promoted her versus her applying, shedid not get a chance to like okine
is what she wanted for her byand so she found out that she was
actually given less and she wouldn't havebeen she had been given the opportunity to
apply for the job. So that'skind of a frustrating situation too. Well,

(17:56):
thank you for sharing. I betJulie would have some good site on
that one. I appreciate you sharingwith my commercial free. We're about less
than ten minutes away from the threeThings you need to know to get your
day started in Sancy by now youmust have seen Joe Burrow comment on the
buzz cut and the bleach. Ifnot, oh, I got it for

(18:18):
you. Coming up next, it'sgiving army pants and flip flops, and
I'll explain why when you need toknow she's got you. It's three things
with tip and good morning. We'rejust before at nine o'clock and you got
to get in on some of thiscash baby paying your bills on kiss at
nine oh five, so don't gofar. And it's one of the last

(18:41):
chances to get this money before wewrap it up tomorrow. What type of
show would I be operating here ifI didn't lead off with the biggest story
of yesterday afternoon, which was JoeBurrow. Speaking at that press conference,
it took them all of like threeseconds to ask about the bleach blonde buzzy
Well. Bj said that if Ibuzzed it and bleased it, he would

(19:03):
do it too. So now everybody'sgot to hold him accountable because he's got
to do it. In the nextweek, I saw Katie Herron wearing armie
pants and flip bops, so Ibought armie pants and flip flops. Oh
it's giving, Regina George, Sowhy did he do it? I got
bored thanks about it. I thinkwe need the fans in the media to
hold him accountable if he doesn't doit. So I'm counting on you guys.

(19:26):
First couple of days was definitely alittle shocking. When I woke up,
I would say, but I've gottenused to it. That's just a
great way to put it. Itwas shocking, but now I'm getting used
to it. It's just busy.I mean, Bengals are back every night
of the week. There's something goingon in proximity to the banks and such.
So yesterday I talked about Ajar beinga heritage. Last night, Elenis
Morsett at Riverbend, Olivia Rodrigo's atRapperina. Tate McCrae was at The Brady.

(19:52):
We'll lead off with Olivia at Rapperina. It still hits pasture Streets.

(20:12):
Some videos on our Instagram if youhaven't checked it out. Also, Tate
McCrae was at the Brady last night. Oh how much this means the world
to me? And every single nightRoy got to perform for you guys,
so blasting and very exciting to me. So I love you so much.
I appreciate you all. Was Itried to edit out that scream and I

(20:34):
couldn't, So sorry if that wasa little jarring there. And then the
busyness continues. We've got the foodFighters down at Great American Ballpark tonight,
doors open. Ooh, don't quoteme on this one. I think in
the three o'clock hour, and Ibelieve the show kicks off in the five
My apologies if I'm misquoting that.I don't have it in front of me.
And then Friday and Saturday also actuallytonight as well, Cincinnati Music Festival

(20:56):
kicks off and that will take usthrough the weekend. All right. Finally,
in three things you need to knowthis morning, we have some updates
on the Olympics. So I hadreported yesterday that Selene Dion was going to
make a couple million and she's goingto do the opening ceremonies. Well,
now we know that her and LadyGaga are actually going to team up to
sing Oh my God, am Isaying this wrong? How do I pronounce

(21:18):
it? LEVI? And the rosewhich Lady Gaga saying in a star is
born coo long. I bet it'llbe beautiful. So also coming out too
that Selene Dion is going to havesome Vegas residencies. I'm just shocked that
she's doing this big undertaking with thestiff person syndrome because I've heard from that

(21:42):
documentary that it is grueling for her. So I'm just thrilled if she feels
ready and up to it, goodfor her. Lastly, we're ready to
go, baby. The opening ceremonieskick off tomorrow and iHeartRadio is the exclusive
audio partner of NBC, and I'mgoing to be doing Olympic cover ridge across
our country for iHeartRadio. So I'mthrilled to kick that off tomorrow, and

(22:04):
to honor that, I will playone of my favorite quotes ever from Snoop
Dog. By the way, lookat that horse, did you. Oh
the horse crip walking. Can yousee that? S that's gangsters.
