Speaker 1 (00:01):
Glynn. You need to know she's got you. It's three
things with tiff on.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
Eight fifty and at nine oh five, I have your
chance to win the trip to Vegas for our iHeartRadio
Music Festival, third weekend in September on expenses page sequence Stefani,
Paramore and others.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
So don't go far on that one.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Let's start off with one of my favorite actors of
all time. Vince Vaughan, was inducted into the Hollywood Walk
of Fame yesterday, got a star and I compiled some
of the best Vince Vaughn clips of all time. Dorothy
matt Truth.

Speaker 3 (00:40):
Did you hear what I just said to you? Stage five,
Virgin Clinger, Let's go.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
I'm gonna start the car. I'm serious, let's go. I
knew that it was going to be this much trouble.

Speaker 3 (00:48):
I would have brought home twenty four limits, even one
hundred limbs.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
I know what I wish.

Speaker 3 (00:51):
I wish everyone that was at that goddamn table had
their own little private bag of limen.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
I will give you a million points to put in
your TIF in the Morning Points Bank if you can
tell me what three movies those were from.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
I just love Vince Vaughn. Here's a little clip of
his speech.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
I remember being a kid in both my parents. I'm
lucky to have them both here, and the gift of
storytelling and watching movies and laughing and talking about them afterwards,
both my dad and my mom. And being the youngest
my sisters are here in both my sisters, and being
the youngest and being not even double digits, but them
wanting to see Saturday Night Fever or Animal House, and

(01:25):
so my age was not a barrier to your want
to see that movie. And the laughs that I experienced
in the theater, I felt like I really wanted to
be a part of that, that I could do that
and maybe make people laugh and give families a good
night to discuss stuff and have joy. So for me, really,
that was what this journey had always been about.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
You know, would have been a faster, more concise way
for him to say that was he loved the debrief.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
You guys know how I feel about the debrief.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
One final memory I have about Vince Vaughn is when
back in twenty twelve, when I was an intern at
kiss Wanawait in Boston, which is.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
The radio station I started at.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
Another iHeart radio station, they were doing this program.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
Well that's not a program.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
The movie The intern came out The Internship, right, It
had Owen Wilson and it Vince Vaughn, another great one.
And because of that the press tour that they were doing,
Vince Vaughn was calling all these different radio stations and
the interns were the ones that were interviewing him.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
And I happened to be the intern for the Afternoon Drive.

Speaker 2 (02:24):
Guy at Kiss went away at the time, so I
got to interview with Vince Vaughn. Can't find the clip anywhere.
That was before we recorded everything, So what a memory
on that one?

Speaker 1 (02:31):
All right? Finally, I don't know. I think this is
number two, second and three things we need to know.
So jay Z listen to this.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
Jay Z will get the rights to his nineteen ninety
six Reasonable Doubt album even if someone drops over a
million dollars to buy it. So let's rewind a little bit.
When this album came out, it changed jay Z's career,
It changed rap, it changed a lot of things. He
was set to get the rights of his original album

(02:58):
thirty five years after it, which is just a few
years from now. In the interim, though, Dame Dash his
partner is up against some legal trouble, so he has
to sell off his rights to some of that album
and that's going up in auction this week in New
York or next week at some point this month, so
someone could potentially buy them, but they'll only have the
recording rights for like six more years. Also, to add

(03:21):
to that, they must be able to bid no less
than one point two million to provide a deposit, which
is a twenty percent minimum bid. Very cool, I mean
just I love I love music history, all right. And
then finally in three things you need to know this
more ning. We are just a few days away from

(03:41):
post Malone's latest album, f one trillion, and he's been
releasing new songs weekly.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
This is called what Don't Belong to Me?

Speaker 2 (03:49):
Not that Whiskey's hiven, I get the rest of that
pash take on me, but there is one thing to say,
spend not.

Speaker 1 (03:58):
Can't give you?

Speaker 2 (03:59):
What don't.

Speaker 1 (04:01):
Sounds fun rn.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
I'll have more on that Friday when it does come out.
He's going on tour, but nowhere near here. That is
three things you need to know for the thirteenth of August.
You're a chance to win the trip coming next
