Speaker 1 (00:01):
When you need to know she's got you.
Speaker 2 (00:04):
It's Three Things with Tip on Good Morning. We're just
about twenty four hours from at this point of having
rather the Ditty indictment. It feels like every corner that
we turn, every page that we go through, we learn
new things. So I've spent the majority of our Three
Things talking about this. In the last hour, we talked
(00:25):
about the freak offs. In the hour before that, we
talked about where he's staying.
Speaker 1 (00:29):
And what he's charged with. Now in this hour, let's check.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
Chat about his lawyer and what these charges really mean
for Ditty. So this is the first time today we're
going to hear from him. The court sketches came out
and the reporter at CNN said it looked as if
Ditty was surprised on some of these charges.
Speaker 1 (00:48):
No, he definitely was not.
Speaker 3 (00:50):
I mean, I told him myself in early September, you
are going to be arrested soon and you're going to
be charged with racketeering and you get charged with sex draficking,
so come to New York. It wasn't a long conversation,
he agreed, So we knew this was coming, and in fact,
we offered that he would turn himself in.
Speaker 2 (01:07):
The thing about offering to turn yourself in is what
I think his initial plan was to do that yesterday morning,
but they seized him the night before. Is now that
they're because they were able to do that, they're able
to deem him a flight risk and that he was
constantly obstructing justice? What does that mean? That means that
he's denied bail. And I talked about this at six am,
(01:28):
that he tried to put up fifty million dollars for
bail and they said no, They're going to try to
appeal that today. But according to CNN, I don't think
that he's going to get the bail. Let's talk about
what he's actually charged with and what this means. Three
different counts. Count one is racketeering conspiracy the enterprise of
(01:48):
the business related to sex trafficking.
Speaker 1 (01:51):
Count number two, which is the biggest one.
Speaker 2 (01:54):
Talks about sex trafficking by forced fraud or coercion trans
apporting women across state lines by force, which means minimum
sentence of fifteen years. Mandatory max or I'm sorry max
sentence would be life in prison for that one charge alone.
Speaker 4 (02:13):
Count two is charges sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion,
meaning that Shawcahms participated in transporting women across state lines
for illegal sexual purposes by force or by threats or
by intimidation. That is an extraordinarily serious charge if prosecution
for the prosecution can prove that. The minimum sentence there
(02:36):
if they convict Shawclm's on that is fifteen years and
the maximum is life.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
And then lastly, that third charge is more just I
guess a general trafficking charge.
Speaker 1 (02:48):
So well, when there's more on that, I'll have it
for you.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
I had mentioned this also earlier in the show that
he was transported to m D Brooklyn. Conditions are some
of the worst. The meal plan Turkey rose tofu rice,
boiled potatoes, beats, wheatbread and a beverage. The man's coming
from a life of luxury to a piece of wheatbread
and I don't even know if he'll get that other people.
Isn't how the universe works with this. Other people that
(03:14):
have stayed at m D Brooklyn, including Michael Cohen, Fetti,
wop R Kelly, and Ghisli Maxwell. And by the way,
Gislaine just lost her appeal of sex trafficking conviction of
hers as well she's facing twenty years behind bars, and
she was convicted of that back in twenty twenty one
for helping to recruit in groom underage girls for Jeffrey Epstein,
(03:37):
who committed suicide in twenty nineteen.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
This is the beginning. This is the beginning. There'll be
more to come on this, all right.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
Speaking of convicts, Anna Delvi spent her first.
Speaker 1 (03:50):
Night on Dancing with the Stars.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
I tell you, The Bachelor and Dancing with the Stars
not television that I usually watch on a personal level, but.
Speaker 1 (03:58):
I guess you know she had her first night, did well.
I guess I did not have time for this. I
did not have time. But yeah, all right, and let's
just take a detour from prison, okay.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
Travis Kelsey purchased Patrick Mahomes a birthday gift, and here
it is. Travis got me.
Speaker 1 (04:19):
Louis Vauton golf bag.
Speaker 4 (04:21):
So that that was gonna be sweet.
Speaker 2 (04:23):
I don't know how much I can use that on
the golf course, but it will be nice to have.
You know, when you have a lot of money in
this world, what do you do? You buy a Louis
golf bag. Funny, we should do a whole thing on that.
Guys that buy guys other gifts for their birthday?
Speaker 1 (04:37):
What do you get each other?
Speaker 2 (04:39):
All Right, that's it for three things on the eighteenth

in the morning, lock in Babe, search KISSWANO seven one
on iHeartRadio.
