and the reporter at CNN said it looked as if
Ditty was surprised on some of these charges.

I mean, I told him myself in early September, you
are going to be arrested soon and you're going to
be charged with racketeering and you get charged with sex draficking,
so come to New York. It wasn't a long conversation,
he agreed, So we knew this was coming, and in fact,
we offered that he would turn himself in.

The thing about offering to turn yourself in is what
I think his initial plan was to do that yesterday morning,
but they seized him the night before. Is now that
they're because they were able to do that, they're able
to deem him a flight risk and that he was
constantly obstructing justice? What does that mean? That means that
he's denied bail. And I talked about this at six am,

that he tried to put up fifty million dollars for
bail and they said no, They're going to try to
appeal that today. But according to CNN, I don't think
that he's going to get the bail. Let's talk about
what he's actually charged with and what this means. Three
different counts. Count one is racketeering conspiracy the enterprise of

the business related to sex trafficking.

Count number two, which is the biggest one.
Speaker 2 (01:54):
Talks about sex trafficking by forced fraud or coercion trans
apporting women across state lines by force, which means minimum
sentence of fifteen years. Mandatory max or I'm sorry max
sentence would be life in prison for that one charge alone.

Count two is charges sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion,
meaning that Shawcahms participated in transporting women across state lines
for illegal sexual purposes by force or by threats or
by intimidation. That is an extraordinarily serious charge if prosecution
for the prosecution can prove that. The minimum sentence there

if they convict Shawclm's on that is fifteen years and
the maximum is life.

And then lastly, that third charge is more just I
guess a general trafficking charge.

he was transported to m D Brooklyn. Conditions are some
of the worst. The meal plan Turkey rose tofu rice,

and I don't even know if he'll get that other people.
Isn't how the universe works with this. Other people that

wop R Kelly, and Ghisli Maxwell. And by the way,
Gislaine just lost her appeal of sex trafficking conviction of
hers as well she's facing twenty years behind bars, and
she was convicted of that back in twenty twenty one
for helping to recruit in groom underage girls for Jeffrey Epstein,

who committed suicide in twenty nineteen.
