Speaker 1 (00:01):
When you need to know she's got you. It's three
things with tip on kiss. When I was seven one, Hi.
Speaker 2 (00:12):
Good morning. We're just before nine o'clock.
Speaker 3 (00:15):
It's gorgeous outside, a beautiful blue sky, sunshine. Leaves are
trying to change, not a lot of rain for them
to do so at the moment, but that'll change in
the beginning part of next week.
Speaker 2 (00:24):
We'll see some scattered showers.
Speaker 3 (00:26):
Fortunately, it is going to stay dry through Octoberfest, which
is great. With those giant tents on the grass, that
would have been a nightmare. So all looks well for
the weekend. Right outside of that major event, the second
major event happening in Cincy this weekend is this Independent
Film Festival, which is Cincinnati's home.
Speaker 2 (00:44):
For independent filmmakers.
Speaker 3 (00:46):
Hundreds and thousands of people will roll through this over
the next couple of days. It started last night, that
goes through tonight and tomorrow. In fact, the iHeartMedia red
carpet reception kicks off tonight at seven o'clock, and it's
just looks like a really cool experience. It's set up
like any major festival where if you go online you'll
see the different things that they are hosting, the different
(01:08):
you know, workshops, et cetera. And this is really cool
on you know, we're on the heels of making that
announcement on TIF in the morning. What was at the
beginning of this week or late last week that Cincinnati
is in the running for the Sundance Film Festival a
few years from now. So this will be one of
those events that if you catch it now, it'll grow
and grow and grow over time. So I highly recommend
(01:30):
looking into that. Also, Forbes thirty under thirty kicks off
in Cincinnati on Sunday Monday, and it goes through a
couple of days there. I don't have the exact timeline,
but I learned that this week as well. All right, second,
in three things you need to know this morning, there's
probably no bigger artist on the planet right now than
Sabrina Carpenter, and she's going to be teaming up with
Netflix on December sixth for her own music slash variety show.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
Sabrina Carpenter is the it girl right now.
Speaker 3 (01:58):
In all facets, music, fashion, and makeup, etc. But there's
something about her personality that I think just speaks to
the women of today. She's got this like dry sense
of humor and just this like Jenna se Quas. You know,
she's cute, she's sexy, go a little bit of everything
for Sabrina Carpenter. So I can imagine that this show,
(02:20):
which will also have special guests that haven't been announced,
will be great. Like I said on December sixth, In fact,
her Short and Sweet Tour kicks off in Columbus on
Monday night. It is the first date of her show
a couple of days from now, right here in Ohio.
I'll have all the details for you when we come
back from that one. It also falls on the night
(02:40):
that the Bengals play Monday night football at home. Who
will you choose, Sabrina or the Bengals. I'll be at
the show, so I'll at least cover you on that one.
Speaking of shows, if you went to Pitbull last night,
you'll have to shoot me a DM and let me know.
Was it just as a magical time as it was
the last time he was here. He's such a great performer,
and it's like NonStop party, all right. And then lastly,
(03:03):
and three things, It is new music Friday. We're gonna
hear from Katy Perry as her one four three album
released officially she's been releasing songs pretty much weekly or
every other week since we got the announcement of the album.
I'm gonna play one for you now that's called Wonder.
Speaker 2 (03:22):
Will we still up in Wonder?
Speaker 3 (03:35):
This is Katy Perry's seventh studio album, one four three
I Believe means I Love You. And we heard Orlando
Bloom introduce her at the VMAs the other night, and
I always just feel I just send such, you know,
good energy to artists that put albums out because it's
such a big, big project in undertaking. So congratulations to
(03:56):
Katy Perry on that one. You'll have to digest it
throughout the weekend and let me know. That is three
things you need to know for the twentieth of September.
We've got another hour to go on this show. So
the best way to keep listening to TIF in the
morning is on iHeartRadio when you search kiss one oh
seven one.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
I'm with you wherever you go.
