Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning time kiss
on one.
Speaker 2 (00:06):
Hi, good morning.
Speaker 3 (00:07):
If you haven't heard this yet, let me be the
first to say Happy Friday. Second, I'm running on fumes
this morning, little to no sleep.
Speaker 2 (00:18):
But Blink was back baby.
Speaker 3 (00:22):
So if you're a visual person, you're gonna I mean,
I can't quite figure out whether or not Blink is
like the person that films the fireworks and you're like,
what are you gonna do with this video footage? I
was fan growing so hard in filming Blink last night.
Like I said, I can't quite tell if they are
in the same family.
Speaker 2 (00:41):
They might be adjacent to one another.
Speaker 3 (00:44):
But if you are a visual person and you want
to see some stuff, there's already a few things from
Washington Park at the TIF two F's Potter like the Wizard.
I know that the city is supposed to be super
overwhelmingly busy over the next couple of days. I didn't
have a chance to go down to the parade, which
kicked off at the Banks. I was more up towards
(01:05):
Washington Park and OTR, which was it felt very busy.
It's just gonna it's gonna be a very busy. I
think it's gonna feel busy. I think it's gonna feel
like there are a lot of people. But my recommendation
is that you have to go. You have to at
least check out one of the light shows. Something tonight
will be my first in northern Kentucky, so I have
(01:26):
to keep you posted on that. We'll stay connected on
social But I would say, so far, my favorite has
been Washington Park. It was beautiful, so cool. I try
to explain this stuff to my friends and they're like, what, like,
there's a light show in your city for four days.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
I don't know what to tell you.
Speaker 3 (01:44):
It's very cool. All right, How are you hopefully up
to a good start? We're not far off from the
three things you need to know to get your day started.
Here in Cincy at six fifty, we'll dive into that.
Of course, you might have already seen some of the
tributes to Liam Payne, but we'll read some of them
former bandmates one direction in some of their trips coming up.
Speaker 1 (02:01):
Next.
Speaker 3 (02:01):
Best way to keep listening to Tip in the morning
is on iHeart Radio.
Speaker 2 (02:03):
When you search.
Speaker 4 (02:04):
Kiss when you need to know She's got you.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
It's three Things with tif on Ki.
Speaker 3 (02:13):
Hi Good Morning, Where just before seven o'clock on this Friday.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
I hope you're well.
Speaker 3 (02:17):
It's chili outside once again. But hold on one second,
hold on, hold on, all.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
Right, I'm it's back with you. Chili outside.
Speaker 3 (02:27):
Temperatures are going to be in the forties at the moment,
but eventually we'll bump back up into the sixties.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
I'd say overall, last night blinks.
Speaker 3 (02:35):
Weather felt like solid, but I recommend a hat and
gloves if you're going to be out that long. That
was my only recommendation for my friend that looked freezing.
Outside of that, it was great, but like my fingers
got cold. Okay, let's start off with what we have
so far. Now that we're forty eight hours removed from
the tragic passing of Liam Payne at the age of
(02:56):
thirty one. The Associated Press was the first one to
would say that a local official cited that he jumped.
Speaker 2 (03:04):
It looks as if it's still more.
Speaker 3 (03:06):
Of a fall. I know that there was some controversy there.
Toxicology report is still pending, but autopsy results were released
saying that he died from multiple traumas, internal and external hemorrhaging,
which I think.
Speaker 2 (03:20):
Is to be expected. Police showed up just after five o'clock.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
I was unsure about the timeline on that as to
when it was reported versus when they showed.
Speaker 2 (03:28):
Up, et cetera.
Speaker 3 (03:30):
They've launched an investigation in the death, but that's kind
of all we still have at this point. Now that
the toxicology report, we knew that there were drugs and
alcohol in the room, but you know, we don't know.
We don't know the extent of it, and I'm not
going to sit here and speculate this morning. It didn't
come out the different statements. Isn't social media an interesting place?
Speaker 5 (03:48):
You know?
Speaker 3 (03:49):
I of course was very curious what they had to
say about their former bandmate, of course, like being super
heartbroken myself, and just in general, like just think the
human name is curious. But isn't it a weird thing
to have to post your thoughts on social media? You know?
Speaker 2 (04:07):
Is it for us? Is it for them? Is it
because you.
Speaker 3 (04:09):
Don't really know where to put your thoughts you just
need to tell them to someone, so we go to
social media with them and treat it like a journal.
It's a very interesting thing. I won't read through all
of them, but just certain lines out of some of them,
Zain had said, and I think he might have been first.
I can't help but think selfishly that there were so
(04:29):
many more conversations for us to have in our lives.
I never got to thank you for supporting me through
some of the most difficult times in my life. And
I hope that wherever you are right now, you are good,
You're at peace, and you know how loved you are.
Louis Tomlinson also shared I feel beyond lucky to have
had you in my life, but I'm really struggling with
the idea of saying goodbye and then Harry Styles. I'm
(04:52):
truly devastated by Liam's passing. His greatest joy was making
other people happy, and it was an honor to be
alongside him as he did. Again, they're lengthy, and that's,
you know, just bite sizes from each one, but I
wanted to share this with you this morning. Okay, let's
take a detour towards Blink Big Big weekend in Cincy.
(05:12):
I was always like, really, we're gonna bring in a
million You think this is gonna bring in a million people?
Oh yeah, first night alone, it looked like the parade
was popping. You'll have to let me know what that was, Like,
I spent the time mostly in Washington Park. If you're
a visual person at the TIF to F's potter.
Speaker 2 (05:29):
Like the Wizard.
Speaker 3 (05:30):
We're gonna spend more time on this in our seven
o'clock hour, but I just wanted to give you a
tidbit about driving.
Speaker 1 (05:36):
And we say this every blink, don't blink and drive.
Speaker 3 (05:40):
That is the head of Metro and guys rides are
free and well, like I said, we'll table this for
our next hour, but just know that that option is
available to you, all right. And then lastly, in three
things you need to know this morning, it is New
Music Friday, and I've got a brand new song. Actually
only gonna play you a little bit of a clip
(06:03):
and then play the full thing for you in the.
Speaker 2 (06:05):
Eight o'clock hour.
Speaker 3 (06:06):
This is called apt featuring Rose of Black Pink.
Speaker 2 (06:11):
Don't no men come, won't you Babe?
Speaker 6 (06:15):
Don't you?
Speaker 7 (06:15):
Milica Mejen Fritz.
Speaker 1 (06:19):
It's a night go crazy.
Speaker 6 (06:21):
You gotta do?
Speaker 7 (06:22):
Is just made me AT's it buss it?
Speaker 3 (06:37):
You know I'm right alongside you that That was my
very first time I got to listen to that clip.
I hadn't heard it before. It sounds like Hey, Mickey,
doesn't it. I'll have that for you in full in
our eight o'clock hour, we'll to dissect it a little
bit more than Okay, that is three things you need
to know. For the eighteenth of October. Coming up at
seven oh five, we're gonna talk about blink, but I
(06:57):
need your help. How would you just describe blink to
someone that has absolutely no idea what it is? Because
I'm gonna have to do that this weekend with some
of my girlfriends who aren't from here, and I literally
don't even know what to tell them. That's how crazy
this thing is to me. Search tiff on I search
Kiss on iHeart Radio. You'll see the microphone next to
(07:19):
the play button to talk back with Tiff. You got
thirty seconds there. Good morning, you're waking up with fifth
in the morning. Huh kiss one o seven one?
Speaker 2 (07:26):
Hi, good morning.
Speaker 3 (07:27):
How would you describe blink to someone that's never been
That's what we're doing this morning, So feel free to
join this conversation in whatever way suits you. You can
call me five win three seven four nine one oh
seven one, or talk back with Tiff on iHeart Radio
if you don't feel like having a one on one convo.
It's like leaving me a voice.
Speaker 7 (07:46):
Note.
Speaker 3 (07:48):
This sounds silly and simple, but last night when I
went to go post some of the videos from Washington Park,
which is a must. By the way, my girlfriend's from
Boston and school in Boston.
Speaker 2 (07:59):
They were like, what is this? Where are you?
Speaker 3 (08:04):
They almost couldn't believe that this was happening in Cincinnati.
I said, oh, yeah, oh yeah, this is awesome. So
this is my second time around at Blink, but because
it happens every few years, I kind of like forget
about it, you know, until you get in there and
it's just so immersive and so cool. So outside of
using the word cool, how would you describe Blink to
(08:26):
someone listening right now?
Speaker 2 (08:28):
Like Emily?
Speaker 3 (08:29):
Emily hit me up and she's like, yeah, I'm very
excited to figure this out because I've never been either.
How would you use How would you describe it to somebody? Ah,
so far, I would say immersive and adventurous.
Speaker 2 (08:40):
Those are the two words.
Speaker 3 (08:41):
I feel like if you want to do something solo,
you could absolutely do that. If you have a first
date planned, make sure you're getting that in this weekend,
because this is like first date material.
Speaker 2 (08:54):
Oh my God, you wander around and look at cool stuff.
Heck yeah.
Speaker 3 (09:01):
Very immersive, very exploratory. You have a chance to really
see the city.
Speaker 1 (09:05):
You know.
Speaker 2 (09:06):
I don't spend a lot of time in northern Kentucky.
Speaker 3 (09:09):
I don't, So when I go over to the for
dinner tonight with my girlfriend's for someone's birthday, and going
to Mama's for the first time, I'm going to be
able to explore Kentucky.
Speaker 2 (09:18):
So it's very explored. It very immersive, very adventurous.
Speaker 3 (09:20):
Those are the three words that I would use to
describe what Blink is to someone if they had never gone.
Speaker 2 (09:26):
Washington Parks and must it was cool.
Speaker 3 (09:29):
The thing that I gotta say, though, the only downfall
about Blink is that you're mixing darkness, bright lights, people
who aren't paying attention in vehicles together, and that sometimes
can be.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
A little chaotic.
Speaker 3 (09:46):
It was busy when they I always was like, really,
we're going to bring in a million people for this. Ah,
it was busy last night. So take public transit. And
if you're rolling your eyes like Tiffy, I'm not going
to take the city bus.
Speaker 2 (10:01):
I get it.
Speaker 3 (10:02):
I've been a public transit girly for you know, in
my past life when I lived in school in Boston,
I was I took the tea and the train and
the boss all the time, after the bus to work
every single day.
Speaker 2 (10:13):
I get it. If you're like, I'm just like not
gonna do that.
Speaker 3 (10:16):
There were actually people taking the buses like in masses
last night's do It.
Speaker 1 (10:20):
Just do it.
Speaker 2 (10:21):
The app was super easy to download. Just do it.
Speaker 3 (10:24):
My recommendation is Washington Park. It's a must. Anything you
saw last night, you gotta.
Speaker 1 (10:28):
Let me know.
Speaker 2 (10:28):
You gotta let me know where to go.
Speaker 3 (10:29):
Don't gate keep. This is where you gotta share, all right.
I'm more of a wanderer as well. There are two
types of people with blink.
Speaker 2 (10:35):
Are you type a.
Speaker 3 (10:36):
Where you're gonna plan it out like a Disney theme
park or are you gonna wander like me?
Speaker 2 (10:41):
Hi, good morning. You're waking up with Tiff in the
morning on Kiss one O seven one. Hi, good morning.
Speaker 6 (10:47):
I just want to say good morning. You played the
most funny talkback just now about parents using their kids
to make them as an excuse.
Speaker 2 (10:55):
Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, okay.
Speaker 6 (10:57):
I am thirty one years old in my own house,
me and my family and my mom called off work yesterday.
Speaker 8 (11:05):
And told her boss.
Speaker 6 (11:06):
That my heat was out, And do you want to
know what happens this morning?
Speaker 2 (11:12):
What my heat was out? No, she jinks you, She
literally jinks me.
Speaker 3 (11:21):
So your first of all, there's two things here. One,
your mom called off of work because she lied, right.
Speaker 9 (11:28):
Yeah, and she used me as her lie.
Speaker 3 (11:30):
She's using you as an excuse, but like not as
like your a kid, like a seven or eight year
old or a toddler.
Speaker 2 (11:37):
You're in your thirties and she's still using you.
Speaker 6 (11:42):
And then it's just more funny because today my the
lie came to for tuition and my heat really was
out this morning.
Speaker 3 (11:50):
That girl, whether that's mother's intuition or she jinks to you,
she owes you something.
Speaker 6 (11:56):
Definitely remind us how to call and tell you.
Speaker 5 (11:59):
Well.
Speaker 2 (11:59):
Thank you for that. Remind me of your name of
what neighborhood to call me from.
Speaker 9 (12:03):
I'm Courtney from Betavia.
Speaker 2 (12:04):
Courtney.
Speaker 3 (12:05):
We should ask Cincinnati if anything like that has ever happened,
or maybe just excuses you've used to call out of work.
I always love that one, especially as we head into
the weekend.
Speaker 6 (12:17):
Oh yeah, good, excuses to golf work are perfect.
Speaker 2 (12:19):
Well, thank you for Sharon gal five one three.
Speaker 1 (12:22):
Let's do this.
Speaker 2 (12:23):
Excuses you've used or you might use.
Speaker 3 (12:25):
Maybe blink is one of them. I just saw a
picture from my friend's window. She's got so much traffic
outside of her window late last night. Five one three
seven nine one seven one.
Speaker 2 (12:35):
Excuses you've used because.
Speaker 1 (12:38):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning, huh kiss
one o seven to one. Hey, good morning.
Speaker 3 (12:41):
We're two songs out from the three things you need
to know to get.
Speaker 2 (12:43):
Your day started in sensing and you'll love this.
Speaker 3 (12:46):
Maybe you're pulling in on two wheels running late to school.
Speaker 2 (12:50):
That's what we're in the midst of talking about.
Speaker 3 (12:51):
Actually excuses you've used for running late, the reason being
if you're just walking into this conversation.
Speaker 2 (12:57):
Good morning.
Speaker 3 (12:58):
Courtney called me and said that her mom lied and
used her as an excuse for something. I said, well,
what was the excuse? She said, Well, my mom lied
and said that my heat broke. And guess what, I
woke up this morning with broken heat. So I don't
know is that called mother's intuition or I don't know.
Speaker 2 (13:14):
What that's called. What is that? Hi, good morning, you're
on the air.
Speaker 8 (13:17):
I once told my boss that I couldn't come into
work because my base had flooded and I didn't know
what to do, so I had to call plumbers when
truly I just wanted to take the day off as
I was hungover. My basement was not flooded. But yeah,
(13:42):
it worked out perfectly.
Speaker 3 (13:44):
I do you still.
Speaker 2 (13:46):
Work at this place?
Speaker 1 (13:48):
I do?
Speaker 2 (13:49):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (13:50):
God, Well, you can remain anonymous if you want. But
you definitely made me giggle this morning.
Speaker 8 (13:55):
Oh, no problem, anytime.
Speaker 1 (13:56):
You will take care too.
Speaker 2 (13:58):
Thank you for sharing.
Speaker 3 (13:59):
The thing about running late is I've always gotten an
excuse ready to go. I don't know what it is.
When it comes to telling the truth as to why
I'm late. I cannot. I simply cannot. I will lie.
I will lie so badly too. It's my it's not
a good quality. We're gonna move over to the talkbacks too.
(14:20):
That's an alternative way to get yours in as well.
If on you're on I Hear radio, you'll see the
microphone next to the play button.
Speaker 10 (14:26):
Basically, it was a job interview for my dream job.
I got there super late and I begged them to
have me let me see the hiring manager anyway, and
turned out I was there a day early. My interview
was in until the next day, but they really loved
my persistence and energy and I ended up getting the job.
Speaker 2 (14:45):
Anyway, that's a good one.
Speaker 3 (14:49):
Let me tell you there's one thing I've never been
and that's early.
Speaker 1 (14:54):
Lynn.
Speaker 4 (14:54):
You need to know she's got you. It's three things
TI seven, Good morning.
Speaker 2 (15:01):
We're just before eight o'clock.
Speaker 3 (15:02):
At eight thirty, I have one of your last chances
of the week to get Dane Cook tickets.
Speaker 2 (15:07):
Get in on this.
Speaker 3 (15:07):
He's coming to the Brady, I think on the twenty sixth.
All right, let's start off with Liam Payne. I think
you've probably seen the posts, but let's see if you've
got some updated facts here just in case. So at
this point, authorities have said that the substances were found
(15:30):
in his hotel room, suggesting you know that alcohol and
drugs were consumed before he died.
Speaker 2 (15:37):
We do have.
Speaker 3 (15:40):
The cause of death, however, we don't have a toxicology report.
Speaker 2 (15:43):
That's still pending, but the.
Speaker 3 (15:45):
Autopsy results officially reported that he died from multiple traumas,
internal and external hemorrhaging. I think that's to be expected.
Still very tragic, of course, And you know what's interesting,
I feel like social media has become the diary of
(16:05):
the world right, And I don't think that any of
the band members owe us anything on social or any
We're not in their inner circle. They owe us nothing,
But yet I couldn't help but be super curious about
what they were going to say about their longtime friend.
All of them have since posted on socials. Isn't a
weird place, I get it, though. It's almost like you
just need somewhere to put your thoughts. I'll start with
(16:29):
Harry Styles, and these can be lengthy, so I'll just
read small clips from a few of them.
Speaker 2 (16:34):
I'm truly devastated by Liam's passing.
Speaker 3 (16:35):
His greatest joy was making other people happy, and it
was an honor to be alongside him as he did it.
Zaan shared a statement saying, I can't help but think
selfishly that there was so much more for us to have,
so many more conversations in our lives, and I never
got to thank you for your support with me through
some of those most difficult times in my life. I
can imagine, only as an outsider looking in kind of
(16:57):
similar to you here, that their lives they grew up
together and because one direction was the biggest band on
the planet. They couldn't go outside, so what did they did?
They had each other just in hotel rooms. Right, we'll
leave it there for now. Second and three things you
need to know this morning. Let's talk about Blink. It
probably feels redundant because it feels as if.
Speaker 2 (17:19):
Every major news.
Speaker 3 (17:20):
Outlet and you know, influencer is talking about Blink. But
it's just so big. I feel like it's valuable to
at least mention this.
Speaker 1 (17:28):
And we say this every blank. Don't blank and drive.
Speaker 2 (17:33):
I'm a public transit girly.
Speaker 1 (17:34):
I get it.
Speaker 3 (17:34):
If you're rolling your eyes like Tiffany, I'm not taking
the city bus to Blink.
Speaker 2 (17:37):
That's not happening. Just know that the system is super easy,
it's safe.
Speaker 3 (17:42):
I've taken public transit a lot, you know, in different cities.
Speaker 2 (17:46):
It's definitely a good resource for you.
Speaker 3 (17:48):
Okay, I'm thirty city blocks, six different zones. I'm more
of a let's just go out and see where it
takes us type of person.
Speaker 2 (17:56):
I'm not like a a mapper, like a planner.
Speaker 3 (18:00):
So that they say that the app is really good,
I just personally have not used that. I will say
Washington Park ten out of ten last.
Speaker 2 (18:06):
Night, all right.
Speaker 3 (18:07):
And then lastly in three Things you need to Know
this morning, Snoop Dogg, who's been all over TV, was
with Al Roker reporting the weather and certain cities that
have marijuana like names, and he made his way to Kentucky.
Speaker 1 (18:22):
And over here.
Speaker 11 (18:22):
You know, I love you know, we stayed lucky at Kentucky.
Speaker 6 (18:26):
It's gonna be sixty as we blaze and blaze Kentucky.
Speaker 2 (18:30):
It's about two and a half hours south of here.
Speaker 1 (18:32):
All right.
Speaker 3 (18:32):
That is three things you need to know for the
eighteenth of October coming up. We've got the Cincinnati smells
really bad right now. And then there's a whole Reddit
thread on this what is that Cincinnati smell? If you've
smelled it, please get in on this conversation that's coming
up at eight twenty and New Music Fridays.
Speaker 1 (18:48):
On the way You're waking up fifth in the morning,
Kiss on seven.
Speaker 2 (18:52):
One, Good morning, Good morning, last.
Speaker 1 (18:59):
The smell?
Speaker 2 (19:01):
What's going on? Why is Cincinnati so smelly right now?
How are you? Here's one thing you need to know
about this show.
Speaker 3 (19:08):
If you ever feel like, oh, there's probably no one
out there thinking what I'm thinking, feeling what I'm feeling,
seeing what I'm seeing, laughing at what I'm laughing. You're wrong,
someone somewhere is also doing the same thing. That's why
we do this on my show. Bring all these random things.
Things are happening in the celebrity world, or things are
happening at your own kitchen table, bring them to our
(19:28):
radio morning show kitchen table.
Speaker 2 (19:30):
Every day.
Speaker 3 (19:31):
My neighbor and I live obviously we're neighbors. We live
in Mount Adams, and I have smelled this smell before,
and I thought we were the only one until I
was sent a text message to a link on Reddit.
Speaker 2 (19:49):
If you're like, Tiff, what's going on?
Speaker 3 (19:52):
Sensy smells really bad at certain random, weird times. And
the only way that I can describe this is it's
like a little puky. Sorry, if this is early for
you and you're like on the way to get your
breakfast this morning, it just it smells bad.
Speaker 2 (20:08):
It's like it's puky. It's the only way I can
describe it.
Speaker 12 (20:12):
Smelly cat, smelly cat, smelly cat cat.
Speaker 2 (20:24):
Let's revisit this Reddit thread. Let me pull it up now.
At the same time that we're talking my phone lockdown.
Speaker 3 (20:30):
Okay, it said, so I'm in Mount Adams, so I'm
getting upwind from Sincy. This message is from Clifton. I
live in Clifton Heights right above OTR Brewery district. There
is this rank scent mixed in with the brewery smell,
and it's actually making me irate. It not only blankets
the area, but it lingers. I would say I smell
(20:52):
it most often on Mondays, except for tonight when I
was on my way home. The smell permeated the bus, Like,
how is it this bad? It's definitely coming from the
OTR area. Who knows what the smell is. My dad,
(21:18):
listening on iHeartRadio from Massachusetts, loves Leonard Skinner and he's
gonna love that five with three seven four nine one
O seven one.
Speaker 2 (21:25):
Someone who's an expert, ooh.
Speaker 3 (21:27):
I love that song. Happy Friday. Sierra and Missy Elliott
are out on tour. I was so bummed that Missy's
tour never came to Sinsey. You're waking up with Tim
in the morning on Kiss one oh seven one commercial free.
You know that the key word is smelly cat, smelly cat,
smelly cat for the Dane Cook tickets here in a
(21:48):
few minutes. The reason being let me usher you in
at this conversation if you're just joining us. My neighbor
and I have been smelling this awful smell in Sincy.
We live up in Mount Adams, so it feels like
we're getting up wind or something from downtown. And I
thought maybe we were the only ones until I came
across a Reddit thread talking about the Cincinnati smell. And
we're taking some of your calls trying to figure out
(22:09):
what this is. HI will start with you. Good morning,
you're on the air, Okay.
Speaker 9 (22:13):
I just wanted to tell you Wednesday we went and
had one suddenly market okay, and it's awful.
Speaker 8 (22:22):
It's terrible, okay.
Speaker 9 (22:23):
And someone said that it was either a dog food
company nearby stop lessing dog food and cooking it, okay,
or it was like sam Adams grinding grain to make
their beer.
Speaker 2 (22:42):
On a scale from one to ten.
Speaker 3 (22:44):
How smelly with Cincy though, because I wonder if our
numbers match up.
Speaker 9 (22:48):
On this that this particular day, it was a nine
little kids were walking by, pinching their nose.
Speaker 2 (22:54):
A smelly cat.
Speaker 6 (23:00):
Feeding you.
Speaker 2 (23:00):
What are they feeding Cincy? It smells so bad?
Speaker 1 (23:04):
Uh?
Speaker 5 (23:06):
All right?
Speaker 2 (23:07):
Well, the first of all, what's your name? And what
neighborhood you waking up with me in this morning?
Speaker 3 (23:12):
Thank you for calling CAROLINEA. Yeah, we haven't gotten an expert.
It does give off beer vibes, though, it's like puky
and yeasty. Already, let's put a pit in this for now.
You know what's coming next to the Dane Cook tickets.
I'm not repeating the keyword. You know it, then you're
gonna win them in a few minutes.
Speaker 1 (23:29):
You're waking up with Tiff in the morning.
Speaker 3 (23:31):
One seven one, Hi, good morning, how are you doing.
Speaker 2 (23:35):
I'm well, happy Friday. I'm hoping you have a keyword
for me.
Speaker 1 (23:39):

Speaker 2 (23:41):
You want to sing it for me?
Speaker 10 (23:42):
Go ahead, Mellie Cat, mem Cat you.
Speaker 2 (23:48):

you're welcome. What's your name? What neighborhood are waking up
with me this morning?
Speaker 9 (24:01):
My name is Katie and I'm from the gear Park area.
Speaker 3 (24:04):
Okay, Katie, there's a good chance that you don't know
the smell that I'm talking about in Cincy?
Speaker 2 (24:09):
But do you I should ask no?
Speaker 8 (24:11):
And I work in the like Sharonville Evendale area, and.
Speaker 10 (24:16):
I did not smell anything up this way.
Speaker 8 (24:18):
I'm sorry for you.
Speaker 2 (24:19):
Oh man.
Speaker 3 (24:20):
It is thick, it is and it's random. It comes
at random times. But there's a Reddit thread on it,
so I know I'm not alone. That's always good to know. Absolutely,
any plans for the weekend.
Speaker 2 (24:29):
Are you going to Blink? What's going on?
Speaker 9 (24:32):
I actually might. I just heard about it last night.
Speaker 6 (24:36):
This week is like a year since I've been in Cincy,
so I just heard about it and I think I'm gonna, yeah,
check it out.
Speaker 2 (24:42):
Oh my god, gal, you found the right show. Well,
first of all, welcome, where'd you come from?
Speaker 1 (24:47):
On Columbus?
Speaker 2 (24:48):
Okay, well you made the right choice, thank.
Speaker 8 (24:51):
You, thank you.
Speaker 6 (24:52):
Yeah, it went by quick, but yeah, it's growing on
us every day.
Speaker 2 (24:57):
Oh good.
Speaker 3 (24:57):
Well, if you're looking for girlfriends, I always recommend Cincy
Girls who that's who I follow on I make friends
through that, et cetera. But definitely, oh okay, come down
to Blink and enjoy. It is such an immersive experience,
very cool, unlike anything else anywhere else.
Speaker 8 (25:12):
Awesome.
Speaker 2 (25:15):
Good morning. You're waking up with TIF in the morning
on kiss one oh seven one? How are we doing?
Speaker 3 (25:18):
We're not far off from the three things you need
to know to get your day started in Sincy, including
Taylor stuff.
Speaker 9 (25:24):
Kaytif, it's brittany different Britt.
Speaker 11 (25:29):
Now, I don't know if I'm supposed to send the
keyword smelly Cat. I know it's not for the thousand dollars,
but it's for the ticket if I'm supposed to send
it here or where, So I'm just sending it here.
Speaker 10 (25:47):
Love your show listen every morning on my.
Speaker 2 (25:51):
Way to work and drop off with well you got
cut off there. Thank you for the talk back with Tiff,
Tiff and Britt.
Speaker 3 (25:57):
I love that you know the keyword for for the
Dane Cook tickets with smelly Kat, and that was a
call thing. However, here's what we're gonna do, Brit. If
you're like, damn, I really wanted to go to Dane Cook.
John John has some later on this afternoon, Okay, around
probably four thirty. He'll be broadcasting live from Blink headquarters.
Speaker 2 (26:15):
So he's got your chance to win. Dane.
Speaker 3 (26:17):
What I have for you is your shot to win
a thousand bucks. Now as we move forward into our
nine o'clock hour, so if you can give me a
few minutes of your time, we'll dive into three Things,
then we'll get into the money.
Speaker 2 (26:28):
There's still an hour plus to go on this show.
Speaker 4 (26:30):
Happy Friday, Glenn, you need to know she's got you.
Speaker 1 (26:36):
It's Three Things with TIF.
Speaker 3 (26:39):
Hey, good morning, we're just before nine o'clock. At nine
oh five, I have your first chance of the day
to win a thousand bucks. How nice would it be
to go into the weekend with an extra grand? And
then it comes with a free trip to our iHeartRadio
jingle Ball in New York starring Katy Perry. So don't
go farm. Let's start off with Taylor Swift back in
the United States, not far from here soon enough, kicking
(27:03):
off a series of tour dates over here after coming
off of Europe all summer long. She'll be in Miami
this weekend. Shout out to my friend Shannon, and she's
flying down to Miami for it. And then she takes
a little trip. I forgot she was doing New Orleans.
I thought she was coming ray here. She's doing New Orleans.
Then she's coming over to us. If you've got tickets
(27:23):
to Indy, I think a lot of Cincinnati ands are
gonna go out to Indy. She'll be there over you know,
first weekend in November and then Canada and.
Speaker 2 (27:30):
Guys, that's it.
Speaker 3 (27:33):
That's all we have from her. You know, she always
got something upper sleeve. But there's been no additional dates added,
no album announcements other than the book Experience, which we
talked about earlier this week. You'll have to let me
know if you're going to Miami this week and shoot
me a message or something, because I might have you
in the show next week. Give us the updates on stuff.
Excuse me. The other thing is cities. We know this,
(27:55):
of course, but cities see an influx of millions of
dollars in revenue from the amount of people that go
and spend money.
Speaker 2 (28:02):
There isn't that crazy, Cui? Same? All right?
Speaker 3 (28:05):
Second, and three things you need to know this morning
Saturday Night Live This weekend starring Michael Keaton with Billie
Eilish as the musical guest.
Speaker 2 (28:14):
Here's the teaser.
Speaker 8 (28:15):
Hi, I'm Michael Keaton and I'm hosting SNL this week
with Billy Eilish.
Speaker 3 (28:19):
Michael, I love Beetlejuice and I think the stuff in
the movie really works.
Speaker 1 (28:22):
What are you talking about?
Speaker 2 (28:23):
Watch Billy Eilish. Billy Eilish, Billie Eilish cool. Hey guys, hey,
it's pretty cool.
Speaker 3 (28:30):
Billy is coming. She's in the midst of her tour.
She just did Madison Square Garden last night. You might
see those on Instagram, et cetera. She makes her way
here in three weeks you know me with dates, but
November eighth, not far from now.
Speaker 2 (28:43):
Looking forward to him, all right.
Speaker 3 (28:44):
And then lastly, in three Things you need to Know,
it is new Music Friday. Antif in the morning. I'd
played one earlier from Bruno Mars and Rose. This is
a new one from Morgan wall And it's called love Somebody.
Speaker 8 (29:07):
Far By the down Fall.
Speaker 2 (29:13):
Ibby upy five five but.
Speaker 1 (29:17):
Something just a crazy.
Speaker 2 (29:24):
Body that was easy on the ears. I liked that.
Speaker 3 (29:27):
If you need a reminder, that was Morgan Wallen brand
new new music Friday.
Speaker 2 (29:30):
All right.
Speaker 3 (29:30):
That is three things you need to know to get
your day started here in Cincy for the eighteenth of October,
getting ready for Blink.
Speaker 2 (29:37):
I'm sure we talked about that in our last hour
or so. So lots to do this.
Speaker 3 (29:41):
Weekend, maybe you'll need some extra Monday, your chance to
win that thousand bucks you're gonna pay your bills here
on TIF in the morning around nine oh five, So
don't go far. Okay, lock in on iHeartRadio while you're there,
leave me a talkback on what you're watching on TV,
because we're gonna get into that around nine to twenty.
Speaker 1 (30:00):
In the morning.
Speaker 2 (30:02):
I've been waiting all week for this.
Speaker 3 (30:04):
Usually we talk about what we're watching on TV on
Fridays and Mondays.
Speaker 2 (30:09):
I like doing it.
Speaker 3 (30:10):
Going into the weekend kind of gives everyone like a
to do list so you don't get lost in the trailers.
I cannot be the only girlie that that could sit
on the couch for an hour just trying to choose
something to watch while looking at trailers. I can't be
alone here, right. And then when we come back on Monday,
it's like, Okay, what did you get into? What was
(30:30):
big in the theater? Would you do theater?
Speaker 2 (30:32):
Wise, Smile Too is supposed to take the box office.
I'm not going to see that. I can't do it.
I can't, I can I'm just not.
Speaker 3 (30:39):
I hear it's gory, and I hear it's scary, and
that are those are the two things that I just
do not mess around with. It's probably why I was
complaining about my neighbors Halloween decorations.
Speaker 2 (30:49):
The other day. It's kidding.
Speaker 3 (30:51):
I love the spirit. Yeah, so what are you watching
on TV? Let's do it, let's get into it. Talk
back with Tiff.
Speaker 2 (30:58):
I really have to thank you, guys because of your
last two recommendations.
Speaker 3 (31:01):
I found my most binge worthy shows Inventing Anna and
Your Honor love them both.
Speaker 2 (31:07):
Binge them in a whole weekend.
Speaker 3 (31:08):
Oh heck, yeah, girl, you were locked in. Then right
now I'm watching Hacks. So I got HBO Max. You
know me with passwords. I don't know why I am
so cheap about streaming, but I don't like to stream,
like pay for streaming services.
Speaker 2 (31:25):
So for a while, the only thing I was rocking
was Hulu and Apple TV Plus. Then Hulu said, hey girl,
hate ger all. Hey girl, we're.
Speaker 3 (31:36):
Doing this special where you get HBO Max, Disney Plus
and Hulu for like two dollars more a month with ads.
Speaker 2 (31:43):
I said, okay, I'm gonna do it with ads. I
will lock in for ads.
Speaker 3 (31:47):
So now I feel like a Kidney candy store, the
brand new streaming service to like dive into. So if
there's anything on HBO Max outside of Game of Thrones,
never seen that one don't know if I have the
time to commit to Game of Thrones, you gotta let
me know what's out there. Share it, don't gate keep
Hacks is hilarious. It's got Geene smart in it. And
she was the first person for this season on SNL
(32:09):
by the way, but yeah, very good.
Speaker 2 (32:11):
Love that.
Speaker 3 (32:12):
And I also watch Veep when I'm eating lunch because
Selena Man, Selena Meyer, whoever.
Speaker 2 (32:19):
Just that Veep is funny.
Speaker 3 (32:21):
If you're looking for something to watch, like, you know,
while you got something on in the background, it's great.
Speaker 2 (32:25):
Love it, love it. Those are my recommendations. Okay, coming
up at.
Speaker 3 (32:32):
Nine, we will get into the daily Debrief, where I
choose one big thing that we talked about on our
show and we try to get to the bottom of it.
Today we're trying to get to the bottom of why
Cincinnati smells so bad. Right now, you're.
Speaker 4 (32:44):
Waiting up with Tim in the morning, Gone kiss one morning.
Speaker 2 (32:48):
Happy Friday.
Speaker 3 (32:49):
Who we got places to be, people to see, things
to do. That's that's Friday energy for you. But that's
why we're gonna do the daily Debrief. I choose one
big thing that we talked about within the four hours,
and we revisit it give you a chance to get
in on it, especially if you've been off out and
about this morning. Also gives us a chance to get
to some of the talkbacks that we might not have
(33:09):
gotten to in that moment. And what is going on
in Cincinnati with this smell. I thought maybe my neighbor
and I were alone in smelling this like it's almost puky,
like it feels like it's upwind from downtown in our
neighborhood of Mount Adams. Come to find out there's a
Reddit thread on it. We talked to you this morning.
(33:30):
We don't have any answers as to what it is,
but we've definitely gotten some more feedback.
Speaker 5 (33:34):
Us somebody who lives on the West Side, I can
tell you that it has smelled bad over here on
the West Side for probably about a month now. Over here,
it's more like a sewage kind of smell. So I'm
no expert. I thought that it was just something with
the sewage going on with all the rain that we had,
(33:56):
maybe it was kicking something extra up in the river.
Speaker 1 (33:58):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (33:59):
I'm not an expert.
Speaker 1 (34:00):
Girl.
Speaker 2 (34:00):
Same we need it, We need to know what's going.
Speaker 1 (34:04):
On last.
Speaker 2 (34:11):
What's happening.
Speaker 3 (34:13):
I thought it had something to do with the breweries. Maybe,
but it's so random how it hits at random times.
If you know anything, you can talk back with Tiff
on Iheartradium. You can also get caught up on the podcast,
which gets posted as soon as we wrap up the
show here in a few minutes.
Speaker 2 (34:27):
I'd love to have you.
Speaker 3 (34:27):
It's just a, you know, an alternative way to stay
in the loop because we might have to revisit this
subject again next week.
Speaker 2 (34:33):
Search TIF T I F F in the morning.
Speaker 3 (34:35):
Okay, you know who's an expert in this.
Speaker 2 (34:41):
You know who we should have really leaned on.
Speaker 12 (34:43):
Smelly Smelly Cat
