Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're waking up with Fifth in the Morning, Kiss one, Good.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Morning, Happy Monday.

Speaker 3 (00:07):
And I say that with conviction this time around, because
we're leading into Thanksgiving, and regardless of how you're gonna
spend the holiday, I hope there's just a little.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Bit of joy for you. Maybe there's a lot of joy,
Maybe there's a little bit of joy this year.

Speaker 3 (00:22):
I don't want to be naive and think that everyone's
gonna have the best Thanksgiving of their life. But either way,
I'm excited to at least start the week off together.
We have so much to do and the short three
day period, So make sure you travel around with TIF
in the morning on iHeartRadio by searching Kiss one oh
seven one. So you know how I knew that this
week was gonna be a good week. I went to

(00:45):
Starbucks on Saturday, so we're now sitting at Monday morning.
Saturday morning, I went to Starbucks, the one in Brooklyood.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
Shout out to all the workers that's that the baristas.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
That Starbucks location is always popping, doesn't matter what time
of day it is. We all kind of have our
go to either Starbucks's or Duncan's kind of depending on
what is best for your commute in your neighborhood, et cetera.
On the weekends, that one's my go to. I ordered
a tall iced coffee, which is their smallest size, and

(01:19):
that's usually enough for me and I don't typically have
coffee every day.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
On this show, they call my name tiff iced Coffee.
I go over.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
The thing's a trenta And if you don't know what
that is, that is I think thirty two ounces of coffee.

Speaker 2 (01:37):
Big win.

Speaker 3 (01:37):
On the fact that I ordered a tall and got
a large, like that is the best feeling ever. It's
like getting an extra fry in the bag. It's like
finding twenty dollars in your pocket. Right, so they gave
me a small. I still to this day am drinking
out of this large coffee. I'm now on day three
of this nice coffee with peppermint in it. Whoo all right, uh,

(02:01):
we're gonna get into the three things you need to
know to get your day started in Sincy. I hope
you had a good weekend as far as my weekend goes.
If you're curious, I slept until noon yesterday because I
was out until six in the morning for no good reason. No,
I don't even have a good story for you. So
that was my day yesterday I went to a friends giving.
I do have a good story on that one. We'll
get to that later on in the show. But while

(02:21):
I have you, we do the three things you need
to know every day around six point fifty. What's the
latest with the bridge? I do now have some timelines
for you. What's this mean for our Thanksgiving holiday? All
of that is to come. Like I said, the best
way to keep listening to Tiff in the morning is
on Ihear Radio when you search kiss one oh seven
one good Morning.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
When you need to know she's got you, it's.

Speaker 3 (02:45):
Three things with tiff on kiss Hi, good morning, Good morning.
We're just before seven o'clock on this Monday of Thanksgiving.
Let's take a detour towards the weather really quickly, just
because I think it is always a big deal, especially
with traveling and such. So today fairly mild in the sixties.
We'll start to usher in some like clouds and rain
over the next couple of days, dropping in temperatures until

(03:06):
we get to around Wednesday, where there'll be highs in
the forties depending on where you're going. If you're going
north toward Chicago, it will mix in with some rain
and snow. Sincey we'll see more rain showers with temperatures
in the forties for Thursday morning and for those racing
Thanksgiving Day or you know, you've got football games and such.
Not warm, not freezing, but definitely a chance of some

(03:30):
precipitation regardless.

Speaker 2 (03:31):
Of where you're going.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
All right, let's talk about travel since it is one
of the busiest holidays of the year for traveling around.
It used to always be Wednesday that was super busy.
That is kind of now shifted to Tuesday. So what
does that mean for us as far as commutes go.
With the bridge Brent Spence typically sees higher volume because
of this holiday. Without four seventy one being closed, I

(03:54):
can't imagine what it's going to be like over the
next couple of days. Just bring some patience with you.
Pack that in the back seat maybe you know, but
pack that in the front seat. You're gonna need it.
So I have a timeline now for the first time
on four seventy one. The demolition will begin the day
after Thanksgiving on this Friday, and that will last until
the end of December before they can even begin to

(04:16):
rebuild and repair the bridge, which means we're gonna be
in this scenario for quite a bit of time. The
good news is, though, as we head into December, you've
got school vacations starting to kick in and people traveling
less and spending a little bit more time in their homes.
So with that, hopefully things start to slow down in life,

(04:38):
making the bridge less miserable. I don't know, I'm doing
my best here. When there's more on that one, i'll
have it for you. Second and three things you need
to know. Let's talk about Ariana Grande and Wicked. First
of all, the stats, one hundred and fourteen million is
debut weekend here in the US, breaking some records, including
the best the movie that was based off of non

(05:00):
in the theater. That's what took in the one hundred
and fourteen and broke the record one hundred and sixty
four point two million globally. Who second place movie fifty
five million doesn't come anywhere close, But that was Gladiator.
I haven't seen it, but the one piece of advice
I have heard from those that have seen it is
you have to go and see it in the theater
because of the fight scenes, et cetera. I also love

(05:22):
the theater, so I'm going to add that to my list.
It's gonna be a big weekend for movies this time
around as well, because Moana comes out on Thanksgiving. With
that being said, Ariana Grande celebrating big time because she's
the first artist to have a number one song, a
number one album, and a number one movie within one year.
And I'm talking about the album Eternal Sunshine, and this

(05:44):
is the song.

Speaker 2 (05:44):
It's called Yes and can Seasons page.

Speaker 4 (05:58):
Your life?

Speaker 2 (06:00):
Yes, such a good one.

Speaker 3 (06:01):
Ram I was gonna say one more thing. Yeah, you
remember she announced that album in March of this year
and we were like, whoa, Like maybe a tour?

Speaker 2 (06:10):
Absolutely not.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
The girl was getting ready to go on that wicked
press run, which was probably the biggest press run of
anything I've ever seen in my life. So it congrats
to her. And then, lastly, in three things you need
to Know this morning, we're gonna take a detour over
to Las Vegas. First of all, Adele played her final
Las Vegas residency and here's why it's a big deal.

Speaker 5 (06:28):
It's been amazing.

Speaker 2 (06:29):
I'm so patient, We've been so incredible to live patient
to my son.

Speaker 6 (06:38):
I chose to do a residency, maybe because I can
hate touring, but I chose to do a residency so
I could keep his.

Speaker 3 (06:46):
Life normal and she won't be touring for a while.
She said this weeks ago, maybe months. At this point,
I think she wants to start a family with Rich Paul.
And then, lastly, as far as Vegas goes, the F
one Grand Prix was this weekend.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
The celebri were everywhere.

Speaker 3 (07:01):
Just to name a few, Luda, Chris Gordon, Ramsey, Winnie Harlowe,
Paris Hill and Martin Garricks, who, by the way writes
and produces all of Ariana Grande's music. And then it
congratulations to Max Forstappen world champion, fourth year in a row.

Speaker 2 (07:16):
All right, that is three things you need to know.

Speaker 3 (07:18):
For the twenty fifth of November, we're gonna talk about Tiffmus.
You'll never believe what I did on Christmas Eve last year.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
We'll get to that next.

Speaker 5 (07:26):
You're waking up fifth in the morning.

Speaker 1 (07:27):
Hi, kiss one us seven one.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
Hi, good morning, good morning.

Speaker 3 (07:32):
First of all, have you ever spent a holiday by yourself?
Maybe that's like a normal thing for you. Maybe it
was because something happened in your life and you you know,
like you went through a breakup or something and you
spent it with not with the family that you typically
spend it with. Right, There's so many different ways in
which you could spend a holiday alone. One I hear
quite a bit too, is I moved back to Cincy

(07:55):
from somewhere else in the friends circle that I had
maybe back in high school or early college kind of
changed around a little bit.

Speaker 2 (08:02):
Things are just different.

Speaker 3 (08:02):
I've learned with life, you grow, you evolve, and you change,
and that was kind of.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
The case for me. Last year.

Speaker 3 (08:10):
I decided to spend the holidays in a place that
felt like the most home to me, and that was Cincinnati.

Speaker 2 (08:17):
If you're like, wait a minute, what are you talking
about again.

Speaker 3 (08:19):
Remember I'm originally from the Boston area and I would
travel back and forth not only for my family, but
at the time my significant other, and you know, that
kind of ended and my life evolved. And so for
my very first holiday in Cincy last year, I started
something called tiff Miss.

Speaker 2 (08:36):
Which is a way.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
To showcase what Cincinnati has to offer people like me
and all the scenarios that I also just listed off.
And it was kind of this thing that started on
social where I said, I don't know what I'm doing
here for the holidays. Can you help me? And Cincinnati
really pulled through on that. You sent me dms in

(08:59):
screenshops and locations, and it ended up kind of evolving
into my season of Yes.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
And I went.

Speaker 3 (09:06):
All over the tri state to all these random events.
I had said, if your grandma makes a kick ass eggnog,
I want to be there. If you have some sort
of holiday chorus, I want to go. And because of you,
I was able to really start to build traditions and
memories in a place that I really now called home.
So we're entering the second year of Tiffmus and I

(09:30):
want to introduce you to Nicole Martis.

Speaker 2 (09:32):
Good morning, Good morning.

Speaker 3 (09:35):
Nicole invited me into her home on Christmas Eve of
last year.

Speaker 2 (09:40):
Never have like we've never even spoken.

Speaker 3 (09:42):
You sent me a message on Christmas Eve morning, probably
at like nine or ten, and you said, I heard
you have nowhere to go. You're welcome to come to
my house. And to this day I thank you and
your family for that. So first of all, let me
just like publicly say thank you.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
Oh, you're welcome. It was super have you. It was
a good time.

Speaker 3 (10:02):
You know, the Martis family is a family of firefighters.
So if you want to see what it's like you're
a visual person. My story's got the link to it
right now at the Tiff to F's Potter like the Wizard.
Your husband had heard that I had nowhere to go,
and he said what to you?

Speaker 6 (10:16):
He just messaged me. He was like, hey, Tiff from
one of seven point one doesn't have anywhere to go
for Christmas Eve? Do you care for we invite her?
And I was like, sure, let's do it. And he
gave me your contact and I messaged you and there
there it was.

Speaker 2 (10:31):
You know what was weird about that too?

Speaker 3 (10:33):
And it was such a universe thing, Nicole, because you
messaged me.

Speaker 2 (10:36):
I think on Facebook and I can't remember.

Speaker 3 (10:39):
I think I might have been Facebook, and I haven't
checked my Facebook in maybe ten years old. I just
happened to pop on there Christmas Eve. I wasn't quite
sure what I was going to do with my day.
I just knew that whatever I was going to get into,
I was going to make it feel like, you know,
a new tradition for me. But you guys really opened
up your door and that was such a good time.
So would you do it again.

Speaker 2 (11:01):
Oh absolutely, Okay, for sure. Do you think I could
come back? Come on back please.

Speaker 6 (11:06):
I don't think anyone should ever have to spend any
holiday alone. I've done it before and I knew how
it felt, so I was like, oh, yeah, nobody has
to spend the holidays alone.

Speaker 2 (11:15):
Our house is always open.

Speaker 3 (11:17):
We had done a white elephant, and I knew you
guys would be a dope family to spend holidays with
because my white elephant gift was a four logo, which
it's still in my bridge, Like I might be bringing
that back.

Speaker 7 (11:30):
You should.

Speaker 3 (11:31):
People will love that for anyone else that's solo for
the holiday, and is like, wow, this girl is crazy.
You never met her before she comes knocking on your door?
What was like kind of the first thing that you
thought of? When I showed up.

Speaker 6 (11:45):
I was just like I told everybody, so, we have
a huge family, and I was like, okay, we have
you know, a radio superstar coming here, so you guys
you better be nice, all right. We have a million
kids there. And my husband is a talker too, and
he had some bourbon, so I think he was more
excited than anybody.

Speaker 3 (12:05):
I think he was so kind and he's a retired firefighter,
So shout out to all the fire and this is
the firefighters in general, because you guys will most likely
be working on the holidays, but specifically the Covington Fire Department.
The whole family worked there. So should we do tiff
miss again this year. Absolutely, I think that this is

(12:26):
a good place to launch. I typically like to do
it right before we go into Thanksgiving. If you are
one single, if you're solo, if your life is changed,
you went through a life quake recently in the last
year or so, and you're like not really looking forward
to the holidays, let me tell you since he is
a great place to grow your community and to start
fresh and start new.

Speaker 2 (12:46):
This is something that we do on the air.

Speaker 3 (12:48):
This is something like I said, we'll do on social
So I like to start right here by saying one,
if you're getting ready to do Thanksgiving solo this year,
I'm going to put up on my page at some
point in the next day or so, just different tips
that I have at the tiff to F's potter like
the Wizard. If you're also a visual person and you
want to see what it was like to be at
the Martist family for Christmas Eve, last year. You'll see

(13:08):
that video up there, and I ask you right now
to open up your door to anyone that is experiencing
anything similar. You know, maybe it's just like lightning striking
in a bottle right now, but if you know somebody,
if somebody in your community needs the help, just know
that it really does make a difference. And like I said,
if you have anything that you recommend that I have

(13:29):
to do and that I can share with our solo
community as well, message me and we'll get that stuff going.

Speaker 2 (13:35):
Nicole, thank you.

Speaker 6 (13:37):
Thank you so much for just You're so cheerful and
I think you really made our Christmas efferent.

Speaker 2 (13:42):
Thank you now, Merry Tiffmas to you all.

Speaker 6 (13:45):
Mary Tiffness to you.

Speaker 5 (13:48):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning.

Speaker 3 (13:50):
Hey, what's the one thing you need to know about
friends giving? If you're gearing up for one, and maybe
it's actually your holiday this year, you're doing a friend's
giving outside of a or you're gonna have one this
coming weekend. It's a big season for friendsgiving. What's the
one thing you need to know? This is personal, but
I have a feeling I'm not gonna be the only

(14:13):
one that's made this realization. Do not ever show up
to your friends giving hungry.

Speaker 2 (14:19):
Don't do it. Don't.

Speaker 3 (14:22):
In fact, you should eat a full meal before you
go to your friends giving. Because I'll tell you this
right now. You're not eating. You're not eating, and if
you do eat, you're not eating for maybe three or
four hours after the time that you were told to
arrive there. And I'm a late person myself and definitely
have time blindness, which is the thing for people with ADHD.

(14:43):
But let me tell you I went to one last night.
The host said come by at six. I left at
maybe eight thirty and we hadn't even finished cooking yet.
I was like, okay, I should have learned my That's
why I'm sharing this lesson. This is probably lesson Number

(15:04):
two in Tiffmus this year is don't go to a
friends giving hungry. I don't know if we'll get any
messages on this. This is what I'm gonna float it
out here now. Has something ever happened at your friends giving?
Something silly, something funny, maybe something drama related. If I
get a talk back with Tiff, we might spend more
time on this. At eight twenty because I'm curious. I

(15:27):
don't think anyone. Maybe. I mean there have been people
that have sat down for dinner much later than they
had anticipated. But two hours maybe maybe have you seen
have you done more than two and a half hours?

Speaker 2 (15:37):
Like I said, talk back with tiff On.

Speaker 3 (15:39):
I heart you'll see the microphone next to the play
But and we might get to that in our eight
o'clock hour if we get some messages. All right, while
I have you two songs from now, I have updates
on the potential women's soccer team that could be coming
to the Try and stay. Oh my god, I talked
about the major investor last week.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
I mean, I'm sending all the good ju you out there.

Speaker 3 (16:00):
I'll have that and more. And three things you need
to know at seven fifty ish.

Speaker 1 (16:05):
WHNN, you need to know she's got you.

Speaker 5 (16:09):
It's three things with tip On.

Speaker 2 (16:15):
Hi, good morning. We're just before eight o'clock. Let's touch based.

Speaker 3 (16:18):
On the weather, since it's something we're going to be
paying attention to a little bit more with traveling. Temperatures
are gonna be fairly mild today fifty slash sixties, scattered
rain moving in over the next couple of days by
the time Wednesday hits, Depending on if you're going north
towards like Chicago, you could see some rain mixed with snow.

Speaker 5 (16:35):
Here.

Speaker 3 (16:36):
For Thanksgiving Day, temperatures are in the forties with another
chance of rain. If you're running the Thanksgiving Day race
or you've got football, et cetera. I'm hoping that it
at least feels warm if it's going to rain like that. Okay,
let's start off with the NWSL.

Speaker 2 (16:52):
I'm talking about the.

Speaker 3 (16:53):
Women's soccer team that since he's put in the bid form,
we are one of three finalists.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
It's between US Denver and Cleveland.

Speaker 3 (17:02):
And I'll tell you right now, if we lose this
to Cleveland, I'm gonna be so mad. Last week, I
had mentioned that Caitlin Clark was a part of the
investor group for young kids who aspire to be just
like her, and the future is bright for how we
could potentially work with her or others who are influencers
and interested in engaging and growing our league. That was

(17:23):
the NWSL commissioner Jessica Berman. I'm like, I can feel
it in my bones. I really think that we're gonna
get this.

Speaker 4 (17:32):
We're really enthusiastic about the final three prospects that we
have in the process. Those three markets are Cincinnati, Cleveland,
and Denver.

Speaker 2 (17:43):
Who's going to a soccer game in Cleveland? Who's doing that?

Speaker 3 (17:47):
I'm not doing that. I'm not going to Cleveland. No
one's doing that. I wanted to be here. I'm really, really,
really pulling for it. When there's more in that one,
we're supposed to find out by the end of the year.
You will hear it from my mouth and it will
be a celebration and hopefully all right. Second in three
things you need to know this morning, let's talk about
Kendrick Lamar. The internet I think was surprised by the

(18:08):
fact that Kendrick Lamar released an album in the middle
of a day on Friday, with no warning. I wasn't
surprised that he released one. I mean, of course, right,
you're gearing up as our super Bowl halftime performer, and
I'm gonna read some stuff about this album because you're
gonna hear a lot of it once you watch the
super Bowl in February.

Speaker 2 (18:26):
So let's cover some things.

Speaker 3 (18:27):
Yes, g NX nineteen eighty seven came out Friday, like,
in the middle of the day with no warning. That
is a car I believe, right, how's my knowledge on
that one, and it's one of his favorite cars. This
is his sixth album, the first since twenty twenty two,
produced by Jack Antonoff, who is a big time producer

(18:48):
for Taylor Swift. Sizza is on the album twice. Quick
fact about Siza. She popped into Kai Sinnot's twenty four
hour thirty day live stream and she had mentioned that
her album is coming out before the end of the
year as well. I'm looking highly anticipated, says album, praying
that she goes out on tour and makes her way

(19:08):
towards Cincy because she didn't with this last one. She
was in Columbus and I missed it. Super bummed about
that one, so let's talk about music on it. There
is a song about Little Wayne on there. I'll play
a clip for you here.

Speaker 7 (19:20):
It is have to Bump the Carter three, I help
my roly chain proud irony. I think Mahart wrote that
Little Wayne down.

Speaker 5 (19:27):
While going fo the bowl and nine the only one.

Speaker 7 (19:29):
Congratulate me, all agitating, I'm glad it's only famous.

Speaker 5 (19:33):
Quite frankly pliny.

Speaker 7 (19:35):
Yards, but they outdated old ass flows trying to convince me.

Speaker 2 (19:38):
That the favorite.

Speaker 3 (19:39):
If you're wondering, why does that matter again well, because
Lil Wayne was emotional with the fact that he did
not get the Super Bowl halftime show.

Speaker 2 (19:46):
In New Orleans. Wayne did respond.

Speaker 3 (19:49):
Saying, man, what the F did I do? I just
be chilling and they're still coming for me. Let's not
take kindness for weakness. Let this giant. I beg you all.
No one really wants destruction, not even me, but I
shall destroy if disturbed on me love. We'll see what

(20:09):
comes of that one. So that new Kendrick album is out.
I did report last week that there was rumors that
when he released an album that Taylor Swift would be
on there.

Speaker 2 (20:18):
She wasn't, but by the way she did get emotional.

Speaker 3 (20:20):
This will be our last thing in three things you
need to know, almost saying goodbye to the eras tour.

Speaker 2 (20:25):
This is in Toronto. I want to carry end of
this tour.

Speaker 6 (20:30):
So if you learn that you have no idea how
much leaps to be into.

Speaker 2 (20:41):
It is truly going to be the end of an era.

Speaker 3 (20:43):
When Taylor Swift wraps this thing on December sixth, seventh,
and eighth in Vancouver after two years, it will be
over for Taylor.

Speaker 2 (20:52):
Swift for a while. I would think all right.

Speaker 3 (20:54):
That is three things you need to know for the
twenty fifth of November coming up in our eight o'clock hour,
we're commercial for you on our mind. You can always
listen to Tiff in the Morning and Kiss one oh
seven one regardless of your holiday schedule, right from your phone. Wow,
that is quite the way to start off a Monday
of our holiday week.

Speaker 2 (21:11):
How are you hopefully off to a good start?

Speaker 3 (21:13):
You're listening to Tiff in the Morning on Kiss one
oh seven one. A reminder that I'm commercial free, not
just today, but tomorrow and the next day and the
next day at this time. So if you're going to
be moving about, traveling around, or maybe you just need
a little break from your family, you can always search
Kiss one oh seven one on iHeartRadio to listen live. Okay,

(21:34):
I'll take care of you with that. Okay, we're in
the midst of talking about friends, givings, dues and don't
and I'm filtering through your talkbacks.

Speaker 2 (21:44):
This weekend, I went to a friends giving and I bought.

Speaker 4 (21:46):
A bottle of Red and White to bring over, and
they wanted to use it for saying gria.

Speaker 2 (21:53):
And I was like, no, sorry, this is expensive wine.
Like we're not we won't be using.

Speaker 6 (21:57):
It firstingria, and then at the end of the night,
one of the girls had my bottle of red wine
and her purse and was leaving with it.

Speaker 2 (22:05):
I was like, yikes, girl, really thank you for the
talk back with Tiff.

Speaker 3 (22:14):
I appreciate that there is a different type of holiday
drama when it comes to friendsgiving versus the family one.
I would love to hear from you if you've got
something else. What got me on that is the fact
that you brought a twenty dollars bottle of wine, which
stands out.

Speaker 2 (22:30):
For a friends giving, and then they tried to use
it in the same agria. That's a no. That's a no. Okay,
two songs from now.

Speaker 3 (22:39):
What are the top three things that people always say
at the friendsgiving slash Thanksgiving dinner.

Speaker 2 (22:47):
Table that they're grateful for?

Speaker 3 (22:49):
Do you have an idea, maybe you can put an
order in your head as to what you think the
three things that people are always grateful for?

Speaker 5 (22:57):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning time.

Speaker 3 (23:01):
What are the top three things that people say they're
grateful for when they sit down at the dinner table
this week?

Speaker 2 (23:08):
What are you gonna say? Maybe This is like giving
you what's the phrase I'm looking for? Like an idea?

Speaker 3 (23:15):
Right, It's like when somebody can't figure out what to
write with their vows.

Speaker 2 (23:19):
This is kind of the same thing, but different.

Speaker 3 (23:21):
The number one thing that people say they're always grateful
for more than half are family and friends. So if
you don't know what to say on Thursday, you can
always say I'm grateful for my family and or my friends,
depending on which one really you feel authentic towards. The
other one they say is big. Their health is the

(23:42):
what they're most grateful for, and then lastly faith. Faith
comes in at number three. Good takes third place to friends, family,
and health. Would it be super radio cheesy of me
right now to ask you what you're grateful for this
holiday season?

Speaker 2 (24:00):
I know? Can you just indulge me a little bit? Though?
Come on, come on, why not?

Speaker 3 (24:05):
If you can't let it out here, where the hell
are you gonna let it out this week? Let's do
this five one three seven, four nine one oh seven
one if you're willing to talk to me.

Speaker 2 (24:13):
If not, I get it.

Speaker 3 (24:13):
You can always talk back with Tiff as well on
iHeartRadio when you search kiss the microphones next to the play.
But what is the number one thing that you're grateful
for this holiday season? I feel like my mouth is
saying grateful, and I really keep mating to say great
full getting out the practice right now, kiss one oh

(24:35):
seven one, Good morning. You're waking up with Tiff in
the morning. Here we're in the midst of talking about
what you're grateful. I keep saying grateful, like, am I
okay grateful for here's your talk back?

Speaker 8 (24:48):
So I am most grateful for this year other than
my kids, is Sabrina Carpenter. I have been going through
a terrible breakup the past couple of months, and she
has got me through.

Speaker 2 (25:01):
Thanks girl, girl.

Speaker 3 (25:03):
I have been there, and I know it's going to
be tough for this holiday season. So I want you
to know you've always got a friend in me and
make sure we're connected at the Tiff to F's Potter
like the Wizard, because that's why I'm launching Tiff Miss
for a second year in a row. It's how to
do Thanksgiving and Holidays by yourself, solo, maybe single, Maybe
you've gone through a breakup, maybe your friends or your

(25:25):
family circle is just different this year.

Speaker 2 (25:28):
So more to come on that one.

Speaker 3 (25:29):
All right, thanks for Sharon and the meantime commercial free.

Speaker 5 (25:33):
You're waking up fifth in the morning.

Speaker 2 (25:35):
Kiss Hi, good morning. Sorry about that. I was getting
my ec together on something.

Speaker 3 (25:52):
Millennials are expected to do this one thing the most
out of any generation this season, and many guesses, and
that's spend more. Millennials are spending more on Christmas shopping
than anyone else. I feel so disconnected from this headline,
but I'm sharing it just in case you are one

(26:14):
of those millennials.

Speaker 2 (26:15):
I don't do any holiday shopping. I don't do it.

Speaker 3 (26:19):
My family and I kind of just looked at each
other and said, yeah, we're done with this. But I
still have adult friends in their thirties. Ashley's a good
example of this, who will send links to her parents
of what she wants for her holiday. Now that works
for them, and I think that works for a lot
of people. But I just feel so disconnected from that.

(26:43):
Millennials are expected to spend the most on holiday shopping.

Speaker 2 (26:47):
So I'm going to do my best to.

Speaker 3 (26:50):
Share the places to get the best deals over the
next six weeks or so. I typically like to shout
out small businesses during this time. If we're not connected
yet on ig or if you want to talk back
with tiff TikTok, whatever the case may be, search us,
search me, leave me a talk back. That's an example
of what business you have, because there is some like

(27:12):
crazy percentage of Cincinnatians that want to buy local. Wherever
they're going to spend the money, they'd rather spend it
local than on the TikTok shop.

Speaker 2 (27:20):
Although someone can tell me this morning and she was like,
you know.

Speaker 3 (27:23):
I bought this entire outfit on TikTok shop and that's
where I'm getting a lot of my holiday gifts. So
I get it, like whatever works for you if you
want a TikTok shop it, or if you own a
small business here and you want me to give it
a shout out on the air, people are looking.

Speaker 5 (27:36):
You know.

Speaker 3 (27:37):
I want to help connect try staters to the local buzzes. So,
like I said, shoot me a message or tbt okay,
come on up. Two songs from now, we're gonna dive
into the three things you need to know to get
your day started, and Sincy, what's the latest with the
bridge with the traffic guys, I do have some updates
for you now.

Speaker 1 (27:55):
A timeline Lynn you need to know she's got you.

Speaker 5 (28:01):
It's three things with tip.

Speaker 2 (28:05):
Good morning. We're just before nine o'clock.

Speaker 3 (28:07):
A reminder at nine oh five, I have your chance
to win that free trip to Miami for our iHeartRadio
jingle ballots right before Christmas, so you get a little
vacation before you spend the holidays year, maybe a little
bit of both.

Speaker 2 (28:18):
Don't go far all right, let's start off with the bridge.

Speaker 3 (28:23):
So weather wise, mild temperatures right now, they'll start to
decline Wednesday. If you're traveling north, you might see rain
snow mix. If you're around Cincy for the holidays, you'll
see temperatures in the forties with more rain. As far
as what time that rain comes, we'll know more as
we get later into the weekend. That'll vvv. It'll be

(28:45):
very chilly over the weekend. So what does that have
to do with the bridge? The Brent Spence typically sees
a higher volume of traffic during the holidays, like most
major bridges, but even more so this year.

Speaker 2 (28:57):
Oh boy, it's gonna be a little bit of a nightmare.

Speaker 3 (28:59):
Wednesday, it was formerly the biggest travel day of the year.
It started to shift to Tuesday now, so you'll start
to see traffic. You might even start to see it tonight.
You'll have to pay attention to that one and report
back to me. But the bridge demolition starts the day
after Thanksgiving, so this Friday, and that will take them

(29:19):
until the end of December. Then from there the restoration
and the repairs will start. So we'll be in this
situation for a while. And I think that was to
be expected as soon as we saw those photos.

Speaker 2 (29:35):
Woo, good news is them.

Speaker 3 (29:37):
We're starting to see that time where things slow down,
vacations starting to kick in a little bit more. So
hopefully it will alleviate some stuff until we can really
move forward with this. And also praying for good weather
when this is happening. I feel all right. All of
our crews that have to work out there in like
the middle of December and January, trying to get this
bridge fixed not a fun job, so everyone's going through it.

Speaker 2 (29:59):
Pack your patients.

Speaker 3 (30:00):
Second, in three things you need to know this morning,
I could not be more invested in the fact that
we could potentially be getting a women's soccer team here.

Speaker 4 (30:10):
We're really enthusiastic about the final three prospects that we
have in the process. Those three markets are Cincinnati, Cleveland,
and Denver.

Speaker 3 (30:21):
I was NWSL Commissioner Jessica Berman, who's going to Cleveland?
Who in Cleveland wants to go to a soccer game?
I mean, come on, Denver. I don't know, can't speak
to them, but if we lose to Cleveland, I'm going
to be so mad. I did report last week that
Caitlin Clark is a major investor.

Speaker 4 (30:38):
Her accomplishments and contributions to women's sports is incredible, historic.
It's changed the game for everyone, and she's amazing. Having
her interest in the NWSL is an honor. We couldn't
be more excited about her having shared her own personal
story about having been a young soccer player and loving

(31:01):
the game, and her messaging around being a multi sport
athlete is so important.

Speaker 3 (31:07):
I am so excited. I really hope we get it.
We'll know by the end of this year if we
will have one fingers crossed, all right? And then lastly,
and three things you need to know this morning, A
big congratulations to Ariana Grande. Now I'll get to some
wicked stats for you here in a hot second. But
Ariana Grande, excuse me, as the first artist to have

(31:30):
a number one album, a number one song, and a
number one movie within a calendar year. Eternal Sunshine was
the album that came out in March. And here's the
single that went when that went number one, Carter No,
I Lie. That was from Our Last Three Things, and
that was Kendrick Lamar's album Here It Is, Okay, Here
We Go. I loved that song we Can't Be Friends

(32:08):
and don't you remember? And of course the number one
movie is Wicked. You remember she put that album out
in March and we were like, oh, new album, maybe
a new ariana grande tour. She's shut that down real high.
And I now understand why with the amount of press
that went into Wicked. Who speaking of you want to
talk numbers one hundred and fourteen million one weekend, one

(32:29):
hundred and fourteen million dollars in the United States of America,
one hundred and sixty four point two million globally crazy
big movie weekend. Second place was Gladiator at fifty five million.
You notice they did into a single ounce of advertising
for Gladiator. I was curious about that. I haven't seen it.
I was recommended, though, to see it in theater. If

(32:51):
you are speaking of the Theater. Outside of Wicked and Gladiator,
you've got Moana coming out on Thanksgiving as well. It's
gonna be a busy weekend, all right. That is three
things you need to know over the twenty five of November.
Coming up next, we're going to talk TV, one of
my favorite things to do on a Monday.

Speaker 2 (33:04):
What did you watch?

Speaker 3 (33:05):
What are you recommending? What do you want to see?
What's your comfort show right now in the holiday season?
Talk Back with tiff on iHeartRadio. When you search Kiss,
you'll see the microphone right next to the play button.

Speaker 2 (33:15):
You can contribute to the show.
