Speaker 1 (00:01):
Cause you're waking up six in the morning. Hi, kiss
let us seven one?
Speaker 2 (00:05):
Hello, good morning?
Speaker 1 (00:08):
Is this thing on?
Speaker 3 (00:09):
Hi?
Speaker 4 (00:09):
First of all, I forgot what it was like to
get up super early and then not save enough time
on your like Cali your clock in the morning to
defrost your windshield. Did anyone else run into that problem
this morning too? I got out there and I was like, dang,
I gotta like that extra two or three minutes for
your windshield to defrost feels like an eternity. Oh, but
(00:34):
we're here, We're back. It is officially December. We have
one month left of twenty twenty four. That's wild, and
we have lots to get into today, lots of things
to catch up on. I'm so glad that the Bengals
played at one o'clock yesterday.
Speaker 2 (00:47):
That just gave us the.
Speaker 4 (00:48):
Time we needed to, like really come down to reality
and visit reality. Imagine having a four o'clock game or
an eight o'clock game last night.
Speaker 2 (00:56):
Oh my god, no, thank you, We'll save that. Or
three things you need to know. I've got some.
Speaker 4 (01:01):
Stuff about Joe Burrow in the Bengals around six fifty ish.
Although I'm sure you already know what the score is
and what that means for us. But outside of that,
how is your Thanksgiving? Mary tiff Miss? If I didn't
get a chance to connect with you on social I
did have lots of people hit me up and say, hey,
thanks so much for the tips, advice, et cetera. It
was my you know, first Thanksgiving or my first holiday
(01:21):
here in Cincy by myself. And I had said all that,
you know, because I've done it before.
Speaker 2 (01:26):
But overall, I.
Speaker 4 (01:28):
Don't think I had eaten as much food on Thanksgiving
as I did in a while. And let me tell you,
I was grateful for that. I mean, it was a
good holiday all around. And you know what, we'll spend
more time on that, I think coming up in our
seven o'clock hour, we'll chit chat about how the holiday was,
et cetera, some of the things that you know, we
both came across all of the above. Okay, I'm all right,
(01:50):
while I have you a reminder three things you need
to know to get your day started. And since he
coming up at six fifty, we've got new music to talk.
Speaker 1 (01:57):
About, and you need to know she's got you. It's
three things with tip on Well, good.
Speaker 4 (02:06):
Morning, excuse me, We're just before seven o'clock on the
first Monday of December twenty twenty four. Don't blink, because
if you do, you might miss it. It'll be twenty
five before.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
You know it.
Speaker 4 (02:17):
Speaking of twenty five, that's kind of like the temperatures
that we've got right now, and it'll be this way,
I think for the foreseeable future, once that cold air
moved in for the Bengals game yesterday.
Speaker 2 (02:27):
Who was a little spicy out there.
Speaker 4 (02:30):
Speaking of the Bengals, we'll get to them in a
hot second, but first, let's start off with the bridge.
So when I left you before the holiday, I'd said
we were supposed to get a timeline update, et cetera.
I don't know why I took that timeline update so hard.
When they announced that the bridge wouldn't be opening until
March of twenty twenty.
Speaker 2 (02:47):
Five, it was like, no. Granted, we've dealt with.
Speaker 4 (02:51):
Bridge closers before, with the Brent Spence I believe that
one was close for nearly eight months. I don't know
why this just feels different. Maybe because four seventy one
closer to my house. You might be listening to me
right now, like tif Brent Spence was equally as bad
if you lived over on that side of the city.
Speaker 2 (03:06):
But tough.
Speaker 4 (03:08):
The construction timeline is adhering the schedule that you started
the demolition like they had mentioned on Friday, and then
you know that'll take us to January, and then the
reconstruction of the bridge will take us until March. I
don't know if there'll be any updates from this day
moving forward.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
Of course, if there is anything new, you know, I'll
have that for you.
Speaker 4 (03:27):
But yikes, we're looking at a March reopening, and the
day it does, it'll be a dance, all right.
Speaker 2 (03:35):
Second, and three things you need to know this morning.
Speaker 4 (03:37):
I wish I had better news for you. You know,
Bengals fans, you're waking.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
Up sad today.
Speaker 4 (03:41):
I think that there was some hope that we were
going to be able to pull through and just win
every single game of the season and make it to
the playoffs.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
But we're saying goodbye to our playoff chances.
Speaker 4 (03:52):
And I did like this message from coach ct yesterday
after the loss against the Steelers.
Speaker 5 (03:57):
Stick together, take accountability. We got good people in the
locker room, and you know, it is an emotional game,
you know, especially in a the visual game like this,
especially with where we're at in the season. You know,
I think it's it's normal for emotions to run high.
But at the same time, just got to take accountability
for anything we can and stick together and find a
way to go find a win. You know, we just
(04:18):
got to get ourselves some momentum. That's three games in
a row now that have all been one possession games.
We have done enough to earn the win. It's as
simple as that.
Speaker 4 (04:26):
I just I mean, he goes on there a little
bit longer, but I'm with you as far as just
being confused, maybe a little disappointed. Of course, we took
the l forty four to thirty eight. Lastly, I do
have a little bit of history for you. Only six
quarterbacks have averaged two hundred and seventy five passing yards
and had thirty touchdowns and five or few interceptions through
(04:49):
the first twelve games of the season. Joe Burrow is
the only one of them to have a losing record
four out of those five. When the NFL MVP that season,
it is wild to think of how well we're doing
and so poorly. Right, We're doing so well and so
bad at the same time. It's very odd. Our next game,
(05:09):
by the way, is against the Cowboys Monday night, December ninth,
eight fifteen.
Speaker 2 (05:13):
Kick on that one, all right.
Speaker 4 (05:15):
And then lastly, in three things you need to know
this morning, let's talk new music.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
This is good news.
Speaker 6 (05:19):
This is good news.
Speaker 4 (05:20):
Right before the holiday break, Khalid and Normani announced that
they'll have a song coming out now.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
I've got a clip of it here.
Speaker 4 (05:27):
This comes out on Friday, and I'll play it and
then we'll talk about it.
Speaker 7 (05:38):
We can keep it between you and me, okay.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
Human, very smooth.
Speaker 1 (05:54):
You know.
Speaker 4 (05:54):
The reason why I think this is such a big
deal is because Khalid and Normani already have a massive
hit out.
Speaker 2 (06:01):
You remember Love Lies. Here's a quick clip.
Speaker 1 (06:06):
On the diner.
Speaker 4 (06:09):
So good. By the way, that song is off the
soundtrack to the movie What's It Called Love Simon, released
in twenty eighteen. By the way, you know who wrote
some of that soundtrack, Jack Antonoff the Man's Genius rites
for Taylor Swift.
Speaker 2 (06:28):
All the Time.
Speaker 4 (06:30):
Love Lies reached number nine on the Billboard Hot one hundred.
It also peaked in six different countries at number ten.
In twenty nineteen, Billboard named it the seventh biggest song
of the twenty tens and was revealed to be the
fifth most thumbs up song on Pandora of all time.
I thought that was an interesting stat for us this morning.
(06:52):
All right, that is three things you need to know
for the second of December coming up around seven oh five,
we're commercial free and we'll get into chit chat roulette.
Speaker 2 (07:01):
All the big.
Speaker 4 (07:02):
Things, all the things you saw on social media over
the last four or five days or so. There's gonna
be a lot to fit into this wheel, including a
massive engagement announcement. Oh my god, did you see these
videos and photos? If not, we'll get to that around
seven twenty. Best way to keep listening to TIF in
the morning is on iHeartRadio.
Speaker 1 (07:19):
Sure you're waking up in the morning. Hi, kiss one one.
Speaker 2 (07:23):
That is certainly a way to wake up.
Speaker 1 (07:24):
Hi.
Speaker 2 (07:24):
How are you?
Speaker 4 (07:25):
Hopefully you're a little bit better off here than the
situation we're about to talk about. There are three nightmares
I would say anyone in early media, early morning media
suffers from, and I don't want to compare Monday nightmares
with you, but it might end up going in that direction.
In fact, we're gonna have to pivot the show a
little bit. This morning from my original plan because of
(07:47):
this picture that Sarah at Least texted me maybe twenty
five to thirty minutes ago. Usually, Sarah at least you
recognize her voice because she's on the Kid Chris Morning Show,
and she's a part of my inner circle here on
the show. She joins us every Monday for chit Chat Roulette,
where we take the biggest things from social I mean,
there were a lot of things that happened over the
last three or four day period. We put him into
(08:09):
one five minute wheel and we try to get to
as many as we can. I said, Hey, gearing up
texting you, you know ready, here's what I'm thinking we're
going to talk about this morning. Usually we go back
and forth and she just sends back a picture.
Speaker 2 (08:22):
Of a flat tire on the side of seventy one.
Speaker 4 (08:24):
I was like, Oh my god, I can't tell what's
worse being late for your job in media because you
have a flat tire or this poor man that works
for Triple A.
Speaker 2 (08:34):
I'm assuming he's a man. Just by the build.
Speaker 4 (08:36):
He's got that orange bucket hat on and that yellow
or neon green jacket.
Speaker 2 (08:42):
Ooh, and it's bitter cold outside. I felt bad.
Speaker 4 (08:46):
She's like, yeah, dude, I'm just trapped on the side
of the highway here. That, like I said, is like
nightmare number one is having no control over what happened
to your car and you're on your way in second Oh,
here's us come on in.
Speaker 2 (09:00):
Then, Our poor girl, our poor girl.
Speaker 4 (09:03):
I was just saying the top three nightmares in media
one getting a flat tire, y two sleeping through your alarm,
and three getting locked out of your apartment on your
way to work.
Speaker 6 (09:13):
You and I have conquered all these things.
Speaker 2 (09:16):
These things in twenty twenty four.
Speaker 8 (09:18):
Let me just shout out Alex with O dot. He
was my little guardian angel. I was just sitting there
on the side of the highway on seventy one north right,
like about a half mile up from the Ken what exit,
Oh my god, And he just shows up with his
little cones and gets the temporary tire on.
Speaker 2 (09:33):
Like a little passenger Princess.
Speaker 8 (09:35):
Lily No, and then get those I was like tuning
me to get out of the car, and he goes,
unless you weigh two tons, I think you're good.
Speaker 4 (09:47):
All right.
Speaker 2 (09:47):
I'm gonna let Sarah get collected. Give us one song.
Speaker 4 (09:49):
Because that there is really one big, big, big, big
big thing that happened on social media that I want
us to talk to. Give us like two minutes.
Speaker 2 (09:56):
We'll get to that.
Speaker 1 (09:56):
Next you're waking up with five in the morning, tis
let us good.
Speaker 2 (10:00):
Morning, good morning. That you know, it is a Monday.
Monday out here.
Speaker 4 (10:03):
Sarah Alease from webn she's a part of our inner circle.
Speaker 2 (10:06):
She does chitchat roulette with us. We get to the
biggest things on the internet this weekend. I feel bad
for you.
Speaker 8 (10:13):
It's the mondayest, It's the mondayest Monday ever after a
long holiday weekend. And I'm not just talking about the
Bengals losing, because we'll get into that.
Speaker 6 (10:23):
Yeah, but nothing.
Speaker 8 (10:25):
Better than a nice, cold, freezing morning and then you
get a flat tire right there on seventy one door.
Speaker 2 (10:33):
So embarrassing. It's so embarrassing, Like for what, Well, you
had asked a good question.
Speaker 6 (10:37):
She came in.
Speaker 2 (10:38):
She says, Tiff, would you have left the car?
Speaker 6 (10:40):
Yeah? Do you just leave it or do you stay
with your car?
Speaker 8 (10:44):
I felt like I needed to stay in my car
and get it resolved.
Speaker 4 (10:48):
I'm going to tell you right now there are times
where I drive down seventy one and I see cars
abandoned on the side of the road there, and I
judge them so hard for leaving their car.
Speaker 8 (10:57):
So yeah, just stay I would never have left me
car is safely here with a temporary tyron. Thank you
to my guy, alex at o dot my little guardian angel,
which is what I called.
Speaker 6 (11:09):
That to his face.
Speaker 2 (11:10):
I'm sure he loved that.
Speaker 6 (11:11):
He's like, yeah, let's just get you safe.
Speaker 2 (11:14):
All right.
Speaker 4 (11:14):
We are going to do our best to kind of
squeeze it all in here. We take the biggest things that.
Speaker 1 (11:19):
Happened TuS five minutes.
Speaker 4 (11:22):
Un, let's let it rip. First of all, Josh Allen
and Hailey Steinfeld.
Speaker 8 (11:27):
What a proposal, he went all out.
Speaker 4 (11:31):
I love Hailey Steinfeld so much. By the way, you
guys will recognize her she was. Wasn't she like Hawkeye
sister or something. She plays in a Marvel movie.
Speaker 8 (11:39):
She can act, she can acting, and now she's married
to like one of the best quarterbacks in the league.
Speaker 6 (11:46):
By the way, those got it done last night.
Speaker 4 (11:48):
By the way, how crazy is it that the Bills
mafia just does not care They get.
Speaker 8 (11:54):
Shirtless and shorty degree weather shirtless. They're diving into piles
of snow diving into burning tables. These fans are out
of their MINDO cuh.
Speaker 2 (12:05):
Speaking of cold you were in the game yesterday, tell
me about it.
Speaker 6 (12:08):
The Bengals cannot get it done.
Speaker 8 (12:10):
They have a three percent chance of going Sarah off, Sarah, it's.
Speaker 6 (12:15):
Not over till it's over.
Speaker 8 (12:17):
Being a Cincinnati fan my entire life, this is what
we say every year about the Bengals, the reds, et cetera.
That it's not over till it's over. But yeah, Steelers
get it done. First place in the division. No one
was expecting the Steelers to be this good. But this
is what I always say, never count that team out.
They're coached by Mike Tomlin, who in his entire career
has never had a losing season.
Speaker 2 (12:39):
What actor does Mike Tomlin look like? Doesn't he look
like someone?
Speaker 6 (12:43):
What do you think?
Speaker 2 (12:43):
I don't know, I gotta look it up.
Speaker 6 (12:45):
Who will?
Speaker 1 (12:45):
You know?
Speaker 2 (12:45):
What they always say about isn't it the guy that
coaches the Bills? He looks like the guy from Elf?
Isn't that him?
Speaker 1 (12:50):
Oh?
Speaker 6 (12:51):
Yeah he does. Yeah, I know exactly who you're talking about.
Speaker 4 (12:54):
Mike Tomlin's doppelganger is, Oh, it's the guy from House.
Speaker 2 (12:59):
You ever watched that show House? You want of the
doctors from House? Yeah? Do you have a doppelganger?
Speaker 8 (13:05):
You know what I've been told people here and there,
Holly Saunders, she was a pro golfer up.
Speaker 1 (13:12):
What about you?
Speaker 2 (13:13):
I get Elizabeth Hurley. I girl a place in The
Handmaids too.
Speaker 6 (13:16):
I could kind of see that. Yeah, Yeah, is that
who it is?
Speaker 2 (13:19):
Elizabeth Hurley?
Speaker 1 (13:20):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (13:20):
Is that?
Speaker 2 (13:20):
I feel like everybody has adopted Who's in? No, who's in?
I'm gonna look this up. You go next? What else
you want to talk about?
Speaker 1 (13:27):
Sure?
Speaker 8 (13:27):
I mean I was just gonna continue on with the Bengals.
I mean there was sixty two thousand people there. The
Bengals are now one and four at home, and they
just can't finish it out.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
The first half was great loss. Elizabeth Moss Gotcha's.
Speaker 8 (13:39):
The Bengals were leading the entire time, and then the
Steelers came through the sea fence stopped playing all together.
Speaker 4 (13:45):
What was the vibe inside though, where people like excited,
having a good.
Speaker 2 (13:48):
Lot of terrible towels, lots of terrible towels.
Speaker 6 (13:51):
It was very, very cold.
Speaker 8 (13:52):
It was the coldest game of the season, with the
high of thirty degrees, a little bit of snow coming
down on the way in. But yeah, by the end
of it, I think I'll one of the only Bengals
fan left in the whole stadium.
Speaker 4 (14:03):
I want to take a break from football, though, But
I love your dedication, gal, you are a dedicated fan.
The rumors are swirling about Taylor and Travis that there's
going to be a proposal. Should we put bets on it?
If it will happen before twenty twenty five or not?
Speaker 6 (14:20):
Well, her birthday is coming up.
Speaker 8 (14:22):
He could do a whole birthday slash proposal double situation,
you know what I mean, Like, would.
Speaker 6 (14:28):
You want to get proposed to on your birthday?
Speaker 1 (14:30):
Though?
Speaker 8 (14:30):
No, I love my proposal and it wasn't it didn't
fall on a holiday or my birthday.
Speaker 6 (14:35):
Yeah, maybe that's what she wants.
Speaker 4 (14:38):
She's a numbers galley, right, she's big into numbers. I
think that there's a chance that it could happen around Christmas,
so I'm going to go with before twenty twenty five, okay. Also,
she wraps up the errorstour this weekend too. Do you
think she'll release reputation at the end of.
Speaker 6 (14:53):
This She should. This is something that we have been
waiting for for a long time.
Speaker 4 (14:58):
Yesterda on the clock, Taylor, you have to make a
bet in something, yes or no.
Speaker 8 (15:04):
Yes with reputation. As far as the proposal goes, I'm really.
Speaker 2 (15:07):
Not sure you want a tablet.
Speaker 6 (15:09):
They've been together for what a year and a half.
They're both you know, thirty five, thirty six years old.
I mean, it could happen.
Speaker 2 (15:14):
They could.
Speaker 8 (15:15):
They seem happy. They support each other constantly. She's always
with his parents, he's always with hers when he goes
to the airstar. I mean they're very close, so who knows.
Speaker 4 (15:25):
I don't want to go back to football, but we
do have to visit the OSU Michigan flag thing.
Speaker 2 (15:30):
I mean, the internet was.
Speaker 8 (15:32):
Trolling and for each team being fined one hundred thousand years.
Speaker 6 (15:37):
You brought that up.
Speaker 8 (15:38):
Now, who the hell is going to pay that? And
can they help me with my tire this morning? Can
I have some of that money?
Speaker 1 (15:49):
No?
Speaker 4 (15:49):
For real, Sarah the passenger Princess Kiss is still commercial
free for the rest of the hour.
Speaker 2 (15:56):
She we lost her. She had to run back into
her own studio.
Speaker 4 (15:58):
But man, all right, coming up two songs from now.
I saw a man in the iHeartMedia office doing this
one thing that I felt is like, you shouldn't be
doing this anymore. This one thing you stop doing. Probably
Saturday at like one or two o'clock. This thing went
(16:19):
into the trash. But this man sat down at his
desk cutting a piece of this one thing. You might
have an idea what I'm talking about. We're gonna get
to that next year.
Speaker 2 (16:28):
Leaseig, good morning, you're awaking up.
Speaker 4 (16:31):
It's tip in the morning on Kissuano seven, one commercial
free for a little bit longer. We're actually not far
off from the three things you need to know to
get your day started here in Cincy. In fact, I
do that every day at six fifty, seven fifty and
eight fifty. We will take a detour from the Bengals.
We're gonna take a break from that. I have some
other big news items to get to with. Yeah, while
(16:51):
we're chilling right now, though, when is an appropriate time
to stop eating your leftovers from Thanksgiving? I would have
thought you and I agreed on maybe Friday or Saturday.
Maybe maybe there's a man that works at I Hurt Medium.
I walked by him and he was eating leftovers from Thanksgiving. Guys,
(17:14):
it is Monday.
Speaker 2 (17:15):
It is Monday, December. Second, we're not even in November anymore.
Speaker 4 (17:20):
I would have thought those things would have went into
the garbage. Now I could, I could see a conversation.
Speaker 2 (17:27):
I can see it now. You and I are gonna
chit chat about this.
Speaker 4 (17:29):
And by the way, there are multiple ways to get
in touch with me this morning. I just need simple,
easy answers, and I bet you need simple and easy
too this Monday morning. You can call five one three
seven four nine one o seven one or talk back
with tiff using that I Hurt radio app feature. You'll
see the microphone right next to the play button. When
do you stop eating Thanksgiving leftovers?
Speaker 9 (17:52):
When you need to know she's got you, It's three
things with tiff On.
Speaker 4 (17:58):
Hey, good morning, good morning. We're gonna ge it's a
football stuff here. But I don't want to lead off
with that. I want to lead off with Kai Sanat.
You might recognize his name, especially if you are a
part of the younger generation, because to them, Kay Sinat,
mister Beast, they are like everything.
Speaker 2 (18:15):
That's where they find their entertainment.
Speaker 4 (18:17):
Mafia to Stream was a thirty day streaming where it
was twenty four hours a day on Twitch. It finally
wrapped up after the thirty days.
Speaker 2 (18:26):
What was this?
Speaker 4 (18:26):
I mean we're at December second now, so this was
you know, a day or so ago, and the man
got emotional and I'll give you some stats about this
stream here in a second, but this is him after
wrapping it up.
Speaker 10 (18:37):
Family is important behind the scenes. I'll be stressed sometimes
I can't.
Speaker 1 (18:45):
I can't do.
Speaker 10 (18:47):
The things that I really want to do, Like I
can't go out for the clubs. I can't do that.
Speaker 6 (18:52):
But it's all part of this whole thing.
Speaker 10 (18:53):
And I understand that Foryd that a lot of this.
You have to make sacrifices. You gotta put yourself in
a position to literally achieve and be great. And what's
gonna make you great? You had to discipline, put time
into it and think different, be different, live different.
Speaker 2 (19:10):
I mean, he has a good point there.
Speaker 4 (19:12):
You know, if you want success, sacrifice is definitely a
part of that. He's definitely reclaimed the record for attracting
the most twitched subscribers in a single stream with seven
hundred and twenty seven thousand, six hundred and ninety four.
Some of the numbers are still coming in on it,
but if you didn't know. Kay Sanatt liveded a shelter
with his mom in Brooklyn, New York growing up, and
(19:34):
now he was able to afford to buy not only
himself a house, but his mother and the rest of
his family as well. So Mafia two officially over at
this point. Second, and three things you need to know
this morning. You know, it was a real tough loss
for the Bengals yesterday. I think everything that was going
to be said has been said from Joe Burrow and
Jamar Chase and just fans are disappointed that really closed
(19:58):
the door on our playoff run.
Speaker 2 (20:00):
But here's coach zt to the team.
Speaker 5 (20:02):
Stick together, take accountability. We got good people in the
locker room. And you know, it's an emotional game, you know,
especially in ad visual game like this, especially with where
we're at in the season. You know, I think it's
it's normal for emotions to run high.
Speaker 4 (20:15):
But we do play against the Cowboys on December ninth,
Monday Night game eight fifteen. And then lastly, in three
things you need to know very quickly at congratulations on
the other side of football to Josh Allen proposing to
Hailey Steinfeld, he had an incredible game last night. The
bills ended up getting it done in the snow against
San Francisco. All right, that is three things you need
(20:36):
to know for December. Second, Hey, coming up next travel Tuesday.
What is the best thing you can do for travel Tuesday.
Speaker 2 (20:44):
I've got an expert joining us at eight twenty. Hi,
good morning.
Speaker 4 (20:48):
You're waking up with Tiff in the morning on a
Kiss one oh seven one commercial free for.
Speaker 2 (20:52):
The rest of the hour.
Speaker 4 (20:54):
You're walking into a conversation that's actually about leftovers, and
it's leftover our last hour. I had asked, what's the
appropriate time to deliver those things to the compost.
Speaker 2 (21:06):
I am so tired of leftovers. I've been eating them
to the last three days.
Speaker 6 (21:12):
Girl.
Speaker 4 (21:13):
Well, first of all, I have to say thank you
for the talk back with Tiff. When you search Kiss
on iHeartRadio, it is good to hear your voice since
it's been a couple of days for us. You'll see
the microphone next to the play button. You can hold
that down and let me know your thoughts. I would
have thought that, like Saturday at maximum would have been
the time.
Speaker 2 (21:29):
That's when you deliver those things to the garbage.
Speaker 4 (21:33):
I saw a man here at iHeart Media Cincinnati eating
leftovers this morning.
Speaker 2 (21:38):
We're not even in November anymore. It's December. Throw them away.
It's time to move on, all right.
Speaker 4 (21:46):
Coming up two songs from now, do you see the
headline that ten billion dollars was spent ten billion? I
don't know where they got this number and who got it,
but ten billion dollars was spent on Black Friday. You
still have Cyber Monday today and then Travel Tuesday is tomorrow.
Speaker 2 (22:01):
In fact, I've got my travel expert. You're gonna jump
on the show.
Speaker 4 (22:05):
In two songs, we'll talk about what is the number
one thing you need to look out for if you wanted.
Speaker 2 (22:11):
Book some travel? Should you book it? Is it even
really the best time to do it. We'll get to
that next because you're waking up five in the morning.
Kiss one seven one, Hi, good morning, Good morning.
Speaker 4 (22:21):
All right, I have the top three tips for travel
Tuesday with our show's resident travel expert. Good morning, Michelle,
good morning, thanks for having me. Of course, today is
Cyber Monday. Tomorrow is Travel Tuesday. What is your number
one tip for those that want to book travel or
that are hearing.
Speaker 2 (22:39):
Like these are the best deals of the year, Like,
is this really a thing.
Speaker 9 (22:43):
Yeah, it's a fantastic time to book some travel. I
think the number one thing you can do to help
yourself is be a little bit flexible about your dates. Okay,
you could easily save a few hundred dollars just by
changing your dates by one or two days, so saying,
instead of leaving on a weekend, maybe leave midweek like
Tuesday Wednesday, in a similar vein, be flexible with your destination,
(23:03):
depending on where you want to go. A lot of
these places, a lot of these deals, they're only going
to be valid for travels days cruises between January and April.
So depending if you want to go to, say Europe,
depending on the country, there may not be a lot
going on come March or even April, those quintessential reasons
why you go are probably not going to happen.
Speaker 2 (23:22):
Okay, So flexible dates, flexible destination. Absolutely.
Speaker 4 (23:27):
How does one search for deals in such like?
Speaker 2 (23:32):
How would you do it as a travel expert?
Speaker 9 (23:34):
As a travel expert, I would of course start with
a travel advisor, Okay, reach out. We get so many
emails about all the deals, and that's year round as well.
But if you don't yet have one, I would start
with flights, try Google Flights use their grid feature to
see what those prices look like one or two days
prior to when you want to leave one.
Speaker 2 (23:55):
To two days after.
Speaker 9 (23:56):
You could also set price alerts, and I would set
those today so that way, as soon as you wake
up tomorrow, you already have a list of things flight
related that are going to be some of the best deals.
Speaker 2 (24:08):
If you have, let's say, a hotel.
Speaker 9 (24:10):
Chain that you prefer, sign up for their newsletter, They're
going to send those things out to their rewards members and.
Speaker 2 (24:15):
Tomorrow morning or tonight at midnight.
Speaker 9 (24:16):
Really yeah, exactly, they're going to drop while you sleep,
so as you're getting ready in the morning. If you're
taking public transit on your commune, you can flip through
those things.
Speaker 2 (24:24):
Your in since is taking public transit, girl, not.
Speaker 9 (24:27):
Me, but you know what I'm open. If that's how
you roll, then that's how you roll.
Speaker 2 (24:31):
Oh man, all right?
Speaker 4 (24:32):
So those are like one, two, three tips. Is there
anything else that I'm missing too that you think is valuable?
Speaker 9 (24:37):
I would say, just don't get discouraged. It does come
with a lot of hype. Right You're coming off of
Black Friday, Small Business Saturday. Take a Cyber Monday. This
is not the only time to save. If you're not
ready to travel yet. If you can't travel in the
early spring, reach out to a travel advisor. We have
the deals running year long, so there's always a time
where you can get a good deal and get the
most bang for your buck.
Speaker 4 (24:58):
You reach out to me, I'll find something for you,
okay quickly though, points and stuff? Do they do travel
Tuesday discounts? For like, Hey, if you have points, you
should go in and the points game is always so
confusing to me. But if you have Delta points or
something like, are they putting a sale on flights through
points as well?
Speaker 9 (25:17):
Or is it just dollars that I actually don't oh,
I would say if you have a travel credit card, though,
definitely utilize it now and rack up those points. There
are so many out there to take advantage of. I
won't go and recommend it any specifically. We take here
for all day, here all day, but yeah, definitely take
advantage and do a little bit of research. If you
(25:38):
have one in mind, let me know. I'll do some
additional research for you. And if we can take advantage
of those, yeah, we're gonna take advantage.
Speaker 2 (25:44):
Of those all right.
Speaker 4 (25:45):
Michelle Is She's the Jane of All Travel is her
social handle. She's also traveled Europe solo before. So if
you're like, ooh, I don't have a friend that I
want to book travel Tuesday with, but I want to
go by myself, you can also reach out to her
for that. She's a good friend of the show. Thank you, Michelle,
thanks for having me.
Speaker 1 (26:05):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning.
Speaker 2 (26:07):
Kiss good morning.
Speaker 4 (26:10):
So on a scale from one to overwhelmed, where are
you with the shopping?
Speaker 3 (26:18):
You know?
Speaker 4 (26:18):
We had Black Friday and then Small Business Center and
then cyber Mondays today and then travel Tuesdays tomorrow. Giving
Tuesday is also tomorrow. I want to make note of
that one. I feel like such an alien in this
world sometimes because I don't shop.
Speaker 3 (26:33):
I don't like to shop. I don't like online shopping.
I don't like shopping. I just don't like to shop.
I'm an experience based person. I'm an experienced girl. I
like an experience.
Speaker 4 (26:46):
I don't know what this says about me, but I
would rather spend one hundred dollars on fancy festive cocktails
with a friend than buy them one hundred dollars to Amazon.
Speaker 2 (26:57):
I don't know why. I'm an experience. If you're a
can you hear me on this?
Speaker 4 (27:01):
If you're experienced base too, then make sure we're connected
because tiff Miss is all about the experiences here and
Cincy it's geared towards those that maybe.
Speaker 2 (27:12):
You want to do things solo. It's kind of how
it all started.
Speaker 4 (27:15):
It's expanding, though, but I take all of your recommendations
and I either go out and experience them and then
share the experience, or I just like screenshot them and
post them on our stories or my stories. So if
you're looking for things to do at the tiff to
F's potter like the Wizard. I went to the Lttle
Park for my Thanksgiving. I had mentioned that I was
(27:35):
going to do that with my best friend Ali. We
were there for probably four or five hours. They've got
beautiful scenery right now, all decorated for the holidays, and
they've got great cocktails.
Speaker 2 (27:46):
So that's one.
Speaker 4 (27:48):
The second one that I've experienced recently too that I
like is Cobblestone.
Speaker 2 (27:52):
They do a really good job of decorating for the holidays.
Speaker 4 (27:55):
And I'll add into that. I talked about this one
last week, but I'll mention it again. The Overlook is
the Miracle pop up. They've turned Overlook into Miracle and
Jacob Travina does such a great job. So those are
my top three holiday experiences at this point. But your
recommendations help. So if you've got something that you love,
don't gate keep it, send it my way quickly. I
want to add ten billion dollars so spent for Black Friday.
Speaker 2 (28:17):
Ten billion. I don't know where they got that number.
Speaker 1 (28:19):
Woo.
Speaker 4 (28:19):
I don't know who got the number, where they got it,
but wow. The emails are crazy. Feel like if I
were to open up Gmail right now, I cleaned it
out last night, I'd probably have fifty emails in there
for Cyber Monday.
Speaker 2 (28:35):
It's like they're emailing, emailing, emailing, emailing about the emails.
I can't keep up, so I don't do it.
Speaker 4 (28:40):
I bought one thing on Black Friday, one thing, and
it was a long leather trench coat, and I got
no emails on it, so I don't even know if
that thing is on the way or not.
Speaker 2 (28:51):
No shipping.
Speaker 4 (28:52):
Ty good morning that you could add in extra eleven
years to your life by doing this one thing. You're
waking up a TIF in the morning on Kiss one
oh seven one.
Speaker 2 (29:04):
Quickly.
Speaker 4 (29:04):
We're not far off, actually less than ten minutes from
now from the three things you need to know to
get your day started here in Sincy, including the major
concert announcement.
Speaker 2 (29:13):
Hang on for that.
Speaker 4 (29:13):
Okay, So we're coming off of Thanksgiving. I figured this
would be perfect timing. It's the second of December. You
could probably use a little bit of a break. The
headline on this got me. You can add eleven years
to your life by walking every day.
Speaker 2 (29:29):
Damn, I knew it was going to be walking.
Speaker 4 (29:32):
The amount though, you have to add in almost one
hundred and sixty minutes daily.
Speaker 2 (29:37):
That's like two and a half hours of walking every day.
Speaker 4 (29:40):
Are you willing to make that sacrifice to add a level?
Someone said you could live eleven years longer than what
you're predicted to right now if you were to add
in two hours of walking in every day.
Speaker 2 (29:51):
Would you do it?
Speaker 4 (29:52):
It sounds so simple yet somewhat of a challenge, And
it doesn't necessarily have to be like you know, you see,
I me and who has time for that?
Speaker 2 (30:01):
Right? But you can add it in throughout the day.
Speaker 4 (30:03):
You're gonna have to park in the back of ken
Wood's lot anyways to get into the mall, Like, there
you go, that's adding steps walking on your lunch break.
I bet if you go on TikTok Shop right now,
a place I refuse to be on Cyber Monday, you
could probably find one of those walking paths my friend
Alli has when she loves him. There you go one
hundred and sixty minutes, an extra eleven years.
Speaker 2 (30:23):
Of your life. Maybe you want that, maybe you don't.
Speaker 4 (30:25):
Maybe you want to go to a concert next summer
though major artist announcement.
Speaker 2 (30:29):
I'll have that, like I said, next.
Speaker 1 (30:31):
When you need to know She's got you. It's three
things with Tip.
Speaker 2 (30:37):
Hi, good morning.
Speaker 4 (30:38):
We are just before nine o'clock, around nine oh five.
I have that free trip to Miami. iHeartRadio. Jingle Ball
is right before Christmas. Let's start before we even get
to the major concert announcement. You're gonna be so excited
if you haven't heard this. I kind of want to
save the best for last. Let's start off with frishes.
As news over the weekend broke about other major locations,
including the og shutting.
Speaker 11 (31:01):
Down, described as an iconic staple in the community, five
more fishes are facing possible evictions, and it includes the
Mainliner store on Woofster Pike. The hearings for the Mainliner
as well as the Sharonville, Queensgate, North College Hill and
West Price Hill locations our scheduled for next Friday.
Speaker 4 (31:18):
Well.
Speaker 11 (31:18):
All five initially filed in court November twenty first. The
main Liner opened in nineteen thirty nine as not only
Frish's first restaurant, but also Cincinnati's first year round drive in.
Speaker 2 (31:29):
I didn't know that.
Speaker 4 (31:30):
My guy Lee Mouin from seven hundred WLW with the
facts on that I'm sending them.
Speaker 2 (31:35):
You know, well wishes my.
Speaker 4 (31:38):
I did see a picture recently of all of the
big boys kind of like shoved into a fenced in area.
Have you seen that photo yet? It was like, oh no,
that was so sad. When there's more on that one,
you know, I'll have it all right. Second, and three
things you need to know. Let's touch base on the bridge.
You know, I had talked right before the holiday break
that we were supposed to get a timeline.
Speaker 2 (31:58):
I don't know why.
Speaker 4 (31:59):
When this time timeline came out, I was so devastated,
But we are not going to have that four to
seventy one bridge reopened until March at the earliest. The
demolition did start on time, that was Friday, and they'll
go through. I mean, these guys and people are working
through the cold to get this thing up and running.
I don't quite remember the Brent Spence causing so much chaos, however,
(32:22):
it was closed for.
Speaker 2 (32:23):
A solid eight months. On one of the rounds.
Speaker 4 (32:25):
It was closed a few times, but I felt like
we were kind of in the midst of coming in
and out of that pandemic, so I felt like traffic
it was different. I don't know, it just feels different,
maybe because I'm closer to four seventy one, but you
might be thinking to if the brent Spence was just
as bad. So we're looking at a March reopen on
that one. When there's more, I'll have it for you.
(32:46):
The demolition will take through January, all right. And then lastly,
major concert announcement. Just got the email that Avril Levine
is coming to River Bend.
Speaker 1 (33:03):
Thanks so.
Speaker 7 (33:10):
Pristrain so good saying what's a guest.
Speaker 9 (33:26):
So good.
Speaker 4 (33:26):
She'll be at River Bend on June eighth. Tickets go
on sale tomorrow with the artist pre sale and the
general on sale is on Friday, and you know, just
you know, I'm gonna take care of you right here.
Speaker 2 (33:41):
It's just so good, you know.
Speaker 4 (33:48):
Isn't there controversy with Ebolovine that it's not really her?
Speaker 2 (33:51):
Was it real? The original name? Was it Melissa?
Speaker 6 (33:54):
You remember that?
Speaker 2 (33:54):
Have you seen that TikTok?
Speaker 4 (33:56):
I'll have tickets for you tomorrow on the show at
eight thirty before you can buy them, okay, I said
a reminder that is three things you need to know
for the second of December. That trip to Miami coming
up next
