Speaker 1 (00:01):
Because you're waking up with fifth in the morning.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
Hi kiss one, Hi, good morning. It feels very quiet
on this post Super Bowl Monday. I'm not sure since
he might be a little sleepy. Just so you're in
the loop on where we're going with the conversation. We're
going to touch base on the halftime show with Kendrick
Lamar and some of the current commercials from last night.
That way, you're in the loop on the most viral
things you need to know before you head into the
office or before you scroll past them on social media
(00:25):
this morning. Let's start off with the half got reaction.
If you were to one to tenant, it was okay.
I think that he's a lyricist, and I thought the
production value is very high, with the exception of the
audio quality. That's something I noticed. If I didn't have
the subtitles on, I don't think I would have understood
(00:45):
what he was saying.
Speaker 3 (00:46):
And I don't mean that as a knock to the
lyrics that he was saying.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
I genuinely think that they could have done a better
job with his microphone quality. Couldn't understand him. I'm going
to give it a five or to six. I was
bored by it, but I kind of had that expectation,
you know, as somebody that's a big connoisseur of the
halftime shows, I'll go back and rewatch them. For instance,
I loved the Rihanna one, and the Usher one, and
(01:10):
the Katy Perry won and the ones that we talk
about over and over again. But I don't think I'll
ever go back and watch the Kendrick Lamar halftime show
other than what I need to do today to get
the audio set up for you to be in the
loop on SISA was great. I wish there was a
little bit more, but a taste of what their tour
is going to look like together this summer. I thought
that there was probably a lot of subliminal messaging, especially
(01:34):
directed towards Drake and others, that will come to find
out once the internet sleuths do their job. And I
thought that the Serena Williams thing was a nice touch.
I didn't realize it until this morning. I forgot that
her and Drake are linked together. But you can't have
an entire halftime show based off of.
Speaker 3 (01:52):
One diss track.
Speaker 2 (01:55):
You know, Kendrick is a lyricist, He's not a performer,
So when and you can be both sure, but do
you when you watch the halftime show, are you.
Speaker 3 (02:05):
Expecting a performance?
Speaker 2 (02:07):
The glitz the glamb and his production did that, but
him himself, he's a lyricist. It's just there are just
different vibes and energy and I kind of knew that
going into it, so I wasn't surprised about to me
how boring it was. Uh, let's talk about the commercial,
so I'll get your take first before we dive into
some of mine.
Speaker 4 (02:25):
Also, what was everyone's favorite commercial? Mine was the Salty
Ritz Crackers one with Aubrey Plaza half of to Day.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
I do remember watching that one. Thank you for the
talkback of a tiff. When you hold down that microphone
on the iHeartRadio app, you'll see that right next to
the play button.
Speaker 3 (02:40):
You can contribute and let me know what your favorite
one was. I will say it.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
I think Duncans took it again for the second year
in a row. And there's one thing that you might
have missed about that commercial that I picked up on
right away.
Speaker 3 (02:55):
Give me three minutes because it's gonna go viral.
Speaker 2 (02:57):
It's gonna be the biggest thing, and I bet it's
all a part of some big roll out somewhere.
Speaker 3 (03:01):
We'll get to that.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
Next Good Morning You're waking up with Tiff in the
morning on Kissuano said one of the one viral moments
from the commercials last night that you are not gonna
want to miss. I think everyone's gonna talk about it.
There's two of them. Actually give me one second. I
just want to wrap up the conversation about Kendrick Lamar
by checking some of your talkbacks.
Speaker 4 (03:19):
I'm sorry, guys, I just think that halftime performance is
absolutely boring.
Speaker 3 (03:24):
It's mixed. It's mixed as far as.
Speaker 2 (03:30):
I think it was born too. I'm sorry. I thought
it was boring.
Speaker 3 (03:33):
Will I ever go back and watch it?
Speaker 4 (03:35):
No?
Speaker 3 (03:35):
Did I thought? Did I think the production value on
it was really cool? I? Did? I did?
Speaker 4 (03:39):
Okay, Can I just talk about Kendrick Lamar's jeans that
he was wearing a halftime show?
Speaker 1 (03:46):
I love them.
Speaker 3 (03:49):
Thank you for bringing that up.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
That was one thing I had in my notes that
I forgot to mention in the last hour or so.
Is that the fact that Kendrick Lamore when those those
bell bottom jeans. Real Williams has been wearing the same
jeans for a while and he's the men's creative director
at lous Vatant.
Speaker 3 (04:05):
So I have a feeling.
Speaker 2 (04:07):
I don't know what we start seeing Cincinnatians in bell
bottom jeans.
Speaker 3 (04:11):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (04:12):
Time will only tell. All right, let's talk about the commercials.
The one viral moment I promised you Jordan, Bill Belichick's girlfriend,
was front and center of the dun King's commercial for
the second year in a row, and I know I'm
gonna Originally I'm from New England, so I have a
special place in my.
Speaker 3 (04:30):
Heart for Dunkin Donuts.
Speaker 2 (04:32):
But I think for a second year in a row,
their commercial was the best. Did you notice that Jordan
was in the background, standing right next to Bill Belichick?
And I don't know if this is part of some
sort of marketing rollout. Someone at Duncan must be a genius,
because she and Bill went viral at the NFL Honors
just a day or two beforehand.
Speaker 3 (04:50):
Then she shows up in the commercial.
Speaker 1 (04:52):
Woo.
Speaker 3 (04:53):
It did really well last year.
Speaker 2 (04:54):
And you remember who was in it alongside Ben Affleck
and Matt Damon. It was Jennifer Lopez. And we know
what happened between Gen and Ben. Took us a while
to get there, but we've I mean a little messy
between the two of them. That was one big commercial
that I loved. The second one that like everyone's talking
about is the tongue one from.
Speaker 3 (05:16):
The coffee Mate.
Speaker 2 (05:17):
They talked about how they're The whole commercial was based
off of the fact that you can now buy cold foam.
Speaker 3 (05:22):
If you didn't know this, cold foam is delicious.
Speaker 2 (05:24):
I get it on my iced coffees all the time
when I want to treat, and now you can get
it at home with coffee mate.
Speaker 3 (05:29):
But that tongue, Oh my god.
Speaker 2 (05:32):
Okay, Hi, good morning. You're waking up with tip in
the morning. I kissed one oh seven one. Coming up
in about ten minutes, we're gonna cover the best national
anthems from the Super Bowl, so don't go far. But
right now we're in the midst of talking about the
commercials from last night.
Speaker 3 (05:47):
What are your favorites?
Speaker 2 (05:48):
What are some that you didn't get that you love
that you laughed at?
Speaker 3 (05:51):
What do we got?
Speaker 4 (05:53):
My favorite commercial was the Mountain Dew commercial was seal
as a seal.
Speaker 3 (05:57):
I had tears in my eyes, so funny. Whoever came
up with that commercial, kudos to you because that was hilarious.
Thank you for the talk back with Tip.
Speaker 2 (06:06):
It's an alternative way to contribute to my show.
Speaker 3 (06:08):
Every day.
Speaker 2 (06:09):
When you search Kiss on the iHeartRadio app, the microphone
is in the top right hand corner.
Speaker 3 (06:13):
And because I know you've come to expect it from.
Speaker 5 (06:15):
Me, O rum Strange umscot a mountain dude, it's the
front of fuel.
Speaker 6 (06:30):
You're right.
Speaker 3 (06:30):
I was kind of silly.
Speaker 2 (06:31):
I think in the moment I was like, what the
heck am I watching right now?
Speaker 3 (06:34):
I said it earlier.
Speaker 2 (06:36):
I think the number one commercial that's going to be
talked about the most is the dun Kings one for
a second year in the row whoever runs Dunkin Donuts
marketing and advertising MM ten out of ten. Jordan Bill
Belichick's girlfriend was front row and center after they were
just spotted together all over the red carpet for the
NFL Honors.
Speaker 3 (06:56):
I think the dunk Kings took it.
Speaker 2 (06:58):
I don't know if Ben Affleck produced it or directs
it or has something to do with it, but they
always do really well.
Speaker 3 (07:06):
The Tongue one is going viral. I got to talk
back on.
Speaker 1 (07:09):
It one with the tongue and it was just odd.
Speaker 6 (07:13):
And creepy, and one of my favorite was the Rams,
the Ram trucks with that Goldilock steam that was really.
Speaker 2 (07:22):
Cute, that had Glenn Powell in it. I had posted
this on Twitter X last night. I said, if you
are a celebrity at this point in your career, if
you're a celebrity and you're not being tapped to do
a Super Bowl commercial, you one need to rethink your
agent in two maybe your career. Everyone was in commercials
last night. I thought the Uber Eats one was done well.
We saw the Clydesdales again. There was this really cool
(07:45):
commercial for Nike. I'll play a clip. You can't be demanding,
you can't be relentless, you can't put yourself first, So
put yourself first.
Speaker 3 (07:57):
You can't be confident.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
The comedy that had Caitlin Clark, Jordan Chiles, Shakari Richardson
in it.
Speaker 3 (08:04):
I thought that was cool.
Speaker 2 (08:05):
Also, the commercial that hit immediately after the halftime show
is always one of the biggest and one that you
pay the most for.
Speaker 3 (08:12):
And the NFL took that one, and really, I.
Speaker 2 (08:15):
Mean it's a huge commercial trying to get women's flag
football across the United States.
Speaker 3 (08:20):
I was surprised by that one. I had no idea
it was coming.
Speaker 2 (08:23):
Pringles Uber Eats, bud Lay all the ones that you'll
hear this morning. If there's anything that I'm missing, talk
back with Tiff on IHEARNT. You'll see the microphone next
to the play button. You can also shoot me a
DM if you prefer. Coming up two songs for now.
The top national anthems of all time? I mean, obviously
Whitney Houston comes in at number one, but.
Speaker 3 (08:41):
Who comes in at number two?
Speaker 7 (08:43):
Three?
Speaker 6 (08:44):
Who?
Speaker 3 (08:45):
Who is it? And how does John Battis stack up
from last night?
Speaker 2 (08:49):
You're waking up in the morning by good morning at
Super Bowl Monday, We've already covered the Kendrick Lamar halftime show.
We've already covered some of your favorite commercials. Feel pretty
contribute as you go about the morning on some of
your favorites or things that you noticed, or maybe things
that you need help figuring out by talking back.
Speaker 3 (09:06):
With Tiff on the iHeart Radio about your leisure. My
favorite thing to.
Speaker 2 (09:09):
Do is look back at the national anthems. So let's
cover some of the top national anthems of all time
and see where they stack up against John Batista last night.
Speaker 3 (09:20):
Who I thought did a good job.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
Obviously coming in at number one, no one has ever
done it better at this point in time. Is Whitney
Houston nineteen ninety one extremely powerful? Right, So according to
(10:13):
this list, Whitney comes in at number one, Beyonce's Super
Bowl anthem in two thousand and four at number two,
Lady Gaga at Super Bowl fifteen twenty and sixteen comes
in at number three. Jennifer Hudson comes in at number
four for two thousand and nine. But on a personal level,
I honestly think that Chris Stapleton from last year might
(10:34):
be my number two.
Speaker 4 (11:10):
Right.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
There's some about that grittinessh that I just loved. All right,
So we heard those two, we heard the top couple.
Let's talk about Jon Batis last night. Definitely some New
Orleans flare on it. I actually think that that was
a theme throughout the entire night of all the performances.
Speaker 3 (11:27):
Here's a clip of him.
Speaker 1 (11:29):
Same done that stoppage b.
Speaker 8 (11:44):
All the land, love the Freak, all the lamb, love
the freak, all the lame, love the.
Speaker 3 (12:16):
That's all right.
Speaker 2 (12:17):
I feel like, you know, sometimes artists take artistic liberties
with the national anthem, and he did there a little bit,
but I like the piano, like the jazz and New
Orleans flare.
Speaker 3 (12:25):
That last note, though.
Speaker 2 (12:28):
Moment just felt like Maybealistic needed is to take one
extra breath before he did it.
Speaker 3 (12:33):
Outside of that, I thought it was pretty solid.
Speaker 6 (12:36):
All right.
Speaker 2 (12:36):
We still have lots of Super Bowl things to cover,
including some of the speeches from last night.
Speaker 3 (12:41):
If you're interested in those, I have that.
Speaker 2 (12:43):
And the one major thing that everyone in Cincinnati is
talking about this morning coming up in the three Things
you need to Know three minutes from now.
Speaker 1 (12:51):
When you need to know She's got you. It's three
things with tip all.
Speaker 2 (12:57):
Right, the one major thing that everyone in Cincinnati saw
about this morning that has nothing to do with the
Super Bowl. I'm gonna get to that in one second.
But of course we do have to start off with
yesterday's game.
Speaker 3 (13:07):
I mean, I cannot be alone in thinking, what.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
Did not expect it to be that big of a
blow out? Twenty four to nothing before he even went
into the halftime, And of course I was like, this
is this is gonna be a Tom Brady and the
Patriots with the Falcons situation. As I was dozing off
in the third quarter, I said, I don't think so.
Jalen Hurts completed seventeen to twenty two passes for two
hundred and twenty one yards with two touchdowns, one interception,
(13:33):
eleven rushes for seventy two yards, ending the game at
forty and twenty two. Patrick Mahomes just looked off last night.
The Chiefs looked off. It was odd that Travis.
Speaker 3 (13:46):
Kelcey didn't receive a single catch in the beginning of
the game.
Speaker 2 (13:51):
Let's start off with Jalen Hurts, though, picking up the
MVP trophy.
Speaker 3 (13:55):
I believe this is him right here.
Speaker 7 (13:59):
Yes, couldn't be here without my teammates, you know, the
effort of the determination everybody displayed to get to this point.
Speaker 2 (14:07):
And then Patrick Mahomes after the game taking full responsibility
for the loss.
Speaker 8 (14:11):
And so that's why I take ownership.
Speaker 2 (14:13):
And there's loss more than probably any loss of my
entire careers, because they've put us in the bats.
Speaker 5 (14:17):
I'll put us in my bats.
Speaker 2 (14:19):
And then Travis Kelcey another one that people are like,
hello earth to Dravis.
Speaker 3 (14:24):
Are you around here?
Speaker 9 (14:25):
He is who couldn't get it going offensively? I mean,
they just got after us on all three phases. And
then on top of that, you know, turnovers, penalties, playing
behind the sticks on offenses, just drop passes.
Speaker 2 (14:36):
Game wise, very unexpected, at least in my book. I
thought it would be a much tighter game. And in fact,
I didn't think that the Eagles would just dominate. I
thought they'd no.
Speaker 3 (14:48):
Uh, let's talk celebrities and attendance.
Speaker 2 (14:50):
You had Bradley Cooper call out the Eagles, John Hamm
brought out the Chiefs. Taylor Swift was there with Ice
Spice for a second Super Bowl in a row. I've
always been so curious as to why. I mean, maybe
maybe they are good friends, Like I wonder are they
texting a lot? You would think if you get one
ticket to the Super Bowl, you're gonna bring someone that
you're like pretty tight with. I just didn't think her
(15:12):
nice spice for that tight. Donald Trump was there. He
was trolling all over Taylor on social media. I'm imagine
running the country and still having time to post about
Taylor Swift.
Speaker 3 (15:23):
Uh what else?
Speaker 1 (15:24):
What else?
Speaker 2 (15:25):
A lot of Paul Rudd, Adam Sandler. It's a good
celebrity turn out. Commercials. The top ones that people are
talking about this morning are the Dunk Kings commercial, the
Tongue one from Coffee Made. I also heard the Mountain
Dew one with Seal. Those are the bigger ones. There's
a few for women's sports that Nike had put out.
Also the one that the NFL did for women's flag
(15:46):
football across America. That was the first commercial after the
halftime show. All right, second and three things. Let's touch
base on the halftime show. Kendrick Lamar mixed reviews on
the Internet. Everyone can agree on one thing that they
noticed right away, the jeans that Kendrick was wearing.
Speaker 3 (16:03):
But Samuel Jackson brought him out in the beginning.
Speaker 10 (16:06):
Sah type it's awful, saying this it's the right American game,
and then the crowd went nuts for this part.
Speaker 3 (16:20):
We I had a feeling that he was going to
sing the song.
Speaker 2 (16:23):
I just didn't know which part, if he was, if
he wasn't getting a reference Drake, But here he is, Michael,
ain't you tie your kind?
Speaker 1 (16:41):
They not like No, they not like her, They not
like us.
Speaker 2 (16:45):
I'll never go back and watch that Kendrick Lamar halftime
show again. I thought it was boring, but I thought
the production value was very high.
Speaker 3 (16:52):
Sizza did a great job. Short time Together All the Stars.
Speaker 2 (16:57):
Is one of my favorite Kendrick It's probably actually my
favorite Kendrick Lamar song. Little Taste of what It's going
to be like for when they go on tour this summer.
Serena Williams was in it. Mustard did come out, but
it wasn't enough for me As far as luster, I
thought it was lackluster.
Speaker 3 (17:13):
But everyone tweaches on on their opinions. All right, I
think that covers mostly game related things.
Speaker 2 (17:20):
Lastly, in three things you need to know this morning,
Cincinnatians are rejoicing. Four seventy one South is officially reopened
after several months and weeks of closures back in November
early December, opening a couple of weeks early due to
Mother Nature giving us a gift of a few warmer
days at the end.
Speaker 3 (17:40):
Of last month. And so you are free and clean
and clear.
Speaker 6 (17:43):
Let's go.
Speaker 3 (17:44):
We can officially start our new year in Cincy now
that the four seventy one bridge is open.
Speaker 2 (17:49):
All right, that is three things you need to know
for the tenth of February coming up around eight twenty
this morning. Do you it is one of the most
depressing days of the year. Now that football is completely
wrapped up. But even if you don't care about the game,
you everget that feeling of like, oh man, like it's
over right. I can imagine a bride getting this feeling
(18:11):
once their wedding is over. Laurie Sharpage is our expert.
She's gonna join us for the one tip you need
to know when the things are starting to come down
for mental health Mondays coming up next. The best way
to keep listening to Tiff in the Morning is by
searching Kiss on the iHeart Radio app.
Speaker 3 (18:25):
Hi, good morning.
Speaker 2 (18:26):
You were waking up with Tip in the morning on
Kiss one oh seven one commercial free. On this Super
Bowl Monday, We're millions are expected to call out of work.
I think us Cincinnatians and try staters are back at it,
back to the regular grind.
Speaker 3 (18:38):
So I'm here for you.
Speaker 2 (18:39):
If you want to type Kiss one oh seven one
into the search bar of the iHeart Radio app, you
can be a part of our content and conversation, et cetera.
Not very often does a conversation bleed from our seven
o'clock hour into our eight. However, with the game last
night and the commercials and the halftime show, etc. I
wanted to give you a chance to still contribute if
(19:00):
you're just now starting off your day.
Speaker 4 (19:03):
I thought the halftime show was great. I think Kendrick
Lamar is just too creative for the average persons. Amism beautiful.
Speaker 3 (19:13):
Thank you for the talk back with Tiff.
Speaker 2 (19:14):
When you search kiss on the iheard app, it's an
alternative way to contribute to my show.
Speaker 3 (19:17):
The microphone is in the top right hand corner.
Speaker 2 (19:19):
I'm seeing a lot of split on the halftime show
from last night. I am on the one side that
thought it was very boring, although I thought the production
value was high, and I thought that there might be
a lot of subliminal messaging and creativity, and they're outside
of him directing things at Drake, so mixed yes and no.
Speaker 3 (19:41):
I think to each his own. I just thought there'd
be a little bit more fan fair.
Speaker 2 (19:47):
However, I know that Kendrick is a lyricist and that's
what he's good at, and I think he did exactly
what he is good at.
Speaker 3 (19:56):
Whether we liked it or not.
Speaker 4 (19:57):
The two BE skin Hunt commercial breaks me out.
Speaker 7 (20:03):
It was very odd.
Speaker 4 (20:04):
I didn't understand it.
Speaker 2 (20:07):
I would have to go back and look at what
that two B commercial was. Two B is what I
watched the super Bowl on last night. I had to
look up where to watch the super Bowl for free,
and that was who Fox partnered with. So it was
the first game I watched it home by myself in
a little while. All right, Kendrick Lamar speaking of here
he is with the halftime show over last night. We
(20:27):
were just chatting about it. If you want to contribute,
how did you.
Speaker 3 (20:30):
Feel about it?
Speaker 2 (20:31):
Talk back with Tiff on the iHeartRadio app or call
five one three seventy four nine one oh seven one.
In the meantime, we're still commercial free. Good morning, Kiss
one O seven one's commercial free every day at this time.
You're listening to Tiff in the morning. We're gonna get
to Christina Aguilera here in one second, but still want
to give you some time in space, et cetera, to
comment on anything you watched last night that you loved,
(20:52):
that you hated, what you thought about the halftime show,
maybe the commercials, all.
Speaker 3 (20:57):
Of the above.
Speaker 4 (20:59):
I just want to say the Kendrick Lamar show was brilliant.
The Uncle Sam part was to showcase that if we're
not dancing around, then they're not entertained. And the fact
that he came lyrically and didn't dance around and put
his message out there was amazing.
Speaker 2 (21:16):
I appreciate your take and the talk back with Tiff.
It's an alternative way to contribute to my show. Every
day when you search Kiss on the iHeartRadio app, that
microphone is in the top right hand corner. I agree
with you that Kendrick did what Kendrick is best at,
which is being a lyricist.
Speaker 3 (21:33):
Thought the production value of the show is very high.
Speaker 2 (21:36):
I am probably the person that he was talking to
with that Uncle Sam stuff because I was just not entertained.
Speaker 3 (21:42):
All right, we're commercial free. Give me two songs.
Speaker 2 (21:46):
You know that feeling that you get when something big
ends and then you're kind of depressed like it for
you know, for you if you're a football lover and
your Sundays are wide open now that Super Bowl has
coming gone?
Speaker 3 (21:56):
How do you work through that?
Speaker 2 (21:58):
Lori Sharpage is going to join us for Mental Health
Mondays and two songs on Kiss Good Morning.
Speaker 1 (22:04):
You're waking up with Kiss in the morning time Kiss on.
Speaker 3 (22:06):
Seven one Good Morning Mental Health Mondays.
Speaker 4 (22:10):
What do you do.
Speaker 3 (22:13):
When you've got the post super Bowl depression?
Speaker 2 (22:15):
The natural come down after the end of something big,
So whether you're a Chiefs or an Eagles fan or not,
or a football fan in general, it really is the
end of one season in chapter in the beginning of
something else, and it kind of gives us this like weird,
what am I gonna do with my Sundays?
Speaker 3 (22:34):
What am I gonna do with my time?
Speaker 2 (22:35):
Laurie Sharpage is our licensed clinical counselor. You'll recognize her
voice because she usually comes on the show on Tuesday,
but now she's joining us for mental health Mondays. This
happens outside of football, I'm assuming, right, Laurie, Oh.
Speaker 6 (22:47):
Absolutely, so this can happen with things like planning a
wedding or a big vacation or graduating, you know, things
that we've worked really really hard that show us significant
chapters in our life. When it's over, it can leave
us feeling almost a little bit loss. So this isn't
like a true depression. It's not a diagnosis. It's just
(23:09):
the natural come down when we've been really excited or
really engaged with something in our life and it's over.
And this happens to many people at the end of
their season with their team. So for us Bengals fans
has happened a few weeks back, but for everybody else,
or for the fans of the teams at the super
Bowl this weekend, this might be something that's happening today
(23:30):
for them.
Speaker 2 (23:30):
Yeah, we mourned that loss a good solid month ago.
Wellso we've been mourning a lot in Cincinnati. I mean,
the bridge finally reopened, but that was a nightmare show.
Do you have a tip on kind of getting through this.
Speaker 3 (23:44):
This morning?
Speaker 6 (23:46):
The biggest tip I have is just knowing that it's
a thing. You know, a lot of times people think
that there's something wrong with them or that they've done
something wrong. To have these feelings of kind of like, oh,
it's over, there's nothing. There's nothing abnormal about this. This
is typical, and the best way you can deal with
it is just to acknowledge it and then go have
some fun in another domain of your life. Go do
something else, maybe you've been neglecting on Sundays for the
(24:07):
last few weeks or months, and really just allow it
to be and then redirect yourself into something else.
Speaker 3 (24:14):
And if all else fails.
Speaker 2 (24:16):
Starbucks members, if you have the app, or you're getting
a free coffee today, a free tall coffee, so.
Speaker 3 (24:21):
There's always that. Well, Laurie, thank you so much for
the call. I appreciate you.
Speaker 2 (24:25):
My gall mental health mondays here on Tiff in the Morning,
hopefully providing you a.
Speaker 3 (24:29):
Little levity, a little bit of joy, a little bit
of a break.
Speaker 2 (24:32):
Oh that song reminds me of summer. You're waking up
with Tiff in the morning on Kiss one oh seven
one commercial free speaking of summer and warmer weather, et cetera.
Speaker 3 (24:41):
Coming up in the Three Things You Need to Know.
Speaker 2 (24:43):
Around eight fifty ish, the Reds posted a video as
soon as the super Bowl wrapped up last night, and
I think you're gonna love it. I'll have that for
you in a few minutes while I have you right now.
I don't know why this news is like, oh, okay,
did you hear that President Trump posted yesterday that they're
stopping the production of pennies and in modern America, I don't.
(25:07):
I haven't even I haven't put my fingers on a
penny and so long, so to me it makes sense.
Speaker 3 (25:13):
But I'm like, I feel like this is a big deal.
Speaker 2 (25:15):
They're just stopping the production of newly minted pennies, so
you'll still see them circulating, but Apparently it cost us
more than two cents to make a single penny. The
US Mint reported a loss of over eighty five million
dollars during the twenty twenty four fiscal year over the
three billion pennies that it produced.
Speaker 1 (25:35):
You know, Glenn, you need to know she's got you.
It's three things with tip.
Speaker 3 (25:44):
All right, good morning.
Speaker 2 (25:45):
We've talked so much about the Super Bowl, so I'm
gonna take a break from that. But there is one
big thing, two big things actually trending in Sincy or
just before at nine o'clock, nine oh five, I have
your first chance of the day to win that thousand bucks.
I'm sure it'll come in handy if you bet that
the Chiefs are going to win last night. All right,
let's start off with the Cincinnati Reds posting on social
media at ten nineteen pm.
Speaker 3 (26:07):
As soon as the Super Bowl wrapped up.
Speaker 2 (26:09):
Yesterday or last night, I should say, with a teaser
video for this upcoming season.
Speaker 11 (26:15):
Once the game starts, nothing else matters. All the noise fade.
The only thing we care about is our team. But
before opening day, got to earn the right to wear
our uniform. You will put in the work, you will
make sacrifices. You will find weaknesses and turn them in
the strength. You will play the game correctly and with respect.
Time comes, we will all be ready. This group has
(26:37):
a chance to be something special, not only good, but
one of the best teams in baseball, all the makings
of a championship team. Now we have to go earn it.
Speaker 3 (26:50):
That was voiced by Tito and the new manager.
Speaker 2 (26:52):
And I believe pitchers and catchers report today, although the
official reporting day is February fifteenth out in Arizona, and
we are ready for Red's opening day, ready to turn
that corner. Speaking of turning a corner. Second, and three
things you need to know. Four seventy one is officially reopened,
and I feel like we can now start our twenty
(27:12):
twenty five in Cincinnati, scheduled.
Speaker 3 (27:15):
Ahead of time.
Speaker 2 (27:15):
With the reopening, it was supposed to be in March,
although maybe they saved themselves just in case of the weather.
But mother nature gifted us with a few really nice
days there they were able to lay the concrete. So
we kind of knew that this was coming in coming.
I just didn't know it was coming on Sunday night
during the Super Bowl last night, so oh fresh air,
breathing freedom driving over four to seventy one south on
(27:38):
your way home, and just giving some business back to
northern Kentucky and just taking some of the pressure off
the traffic and the tailor.
Speaker 3 (27:46):
Southgate has just been in nightmare since November. So there
you go, all right. Lastly, and three things you need
to know a quick rundown.
Speaker 2 (27:53):
Maybe because you didn't stay up late last night to
hear some of the speeches from the post game show,
et cetera.
Speaker 3 (28:01):
So I think.
Speaker 2 (28:04):
We were not expecting the Eagles to take home that
big of a win. Jalen Hurts completed seventeen to twenty
two passes for two hundred and twenty one yards with
two touchdowns and one interception, adding eleven rushes for seventy
two yards, ending the game at forty to twenty two.
Like I said, I felt as if that part was unexpected.
(28:26):
Here's Jalen, MVP of the night.
Speaker 7 (28:29):
Couldn't be here without my teammates. You know, the effort
of the determination everybody displayed.
Speaker 4 (28:34):
To get to this point.
Speaker 2 (28:35):
You could tell the Eagles really showed up and ready
to play, happy to be there, excited to be there.
Speaker 3 (28:41):
Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs just looked like the energy
was off. Here's pat at the end of the game.
Speaker 5 (28:47):
And so that's why I take ownership.
Speaker 2 (28:49):
And there's lost more than by any loss of my
tires careers because there I've put us on the bats.
Speaker 5 (28:54):
I'll put us in the bats.
Speaker 3 (28:55):
Hmmm.
Speaker 2 (28:57):
The other person that I think people are like, helloh,
Travis Kelsey, where were you for the first chunk of
the game.
Speaker 9 (29:03):
Here he is couldn't get it going offensively. I mean
they just got after us on all three phases. And
then on top of that, you know, turnovers, penalties, playing
behind the sticks on offense is just job passes.
Speaker 3 (29:14):
So that's the game.
Speaker 2 (29:15):
Front commercials were also real big. We talked a lot
about those throughout the show today. I would say the
dun Kings commercial, in my opinion, was the one that
would won did the best, but also trending, the Coffee
MAT's commercial, the one with the tongue Mountain dew with
seal those are probably there was some for women's sports
as well.
Speaker 3 (29:33):
Nike.
Speaker 2 (29:33):
He put out one with Shikari Richardson and Jordan Chiles
and Caitlyn Clark. And then also the big commercial after
the halftime show was the one that the NFL put
out for women's flag football across America.
Speaker 3 (29:45):
I thought that was interesting and.
Speaker 2 (29:47):
Speaking of the halftime show, a lot of subliminal messaging
for Kendrick Lamar. I thought the production value was very high,
although I felt like his mic quality could have been
just a little bit better, bringing out Sizza, who he knew,
saying all the stars and Luther together. Also, Serena Williams
came out, and I think that that was a surprise.
Mustard was also there, and Samuel Jackson kind of narrating
(30:10):
the entire thing.
Speaker 3 (30:11):
But of course the entire crowd was waiting for this
one big moment. I'm stuff, ain't you tie?
Speaker 1 (30:19):
Your kind of stuck?
Speaker 10 (30:21):
And it's probably.
Speaker 5 (30:28):
They like us? No, they not, They not like us.
Speaker 2 (30:33):
I don't know why the internet really thought that Taylor
Swift was going to join him for that show. I
mean I had, I mean, like zero percent, zero percent
did I think that Taylor was going to go up there.
I thought maybe it would have added that little razzle
dazzle that people across the United States were looking for,
But no, she did not arrive. I think that pretty
much covers everything. That is three things you need to
know for the tenth of February, if you can give
(30:55):
you a few minutes of your time, I have your
chance to win one thousand bucks at nine oh five
