Speaker 1 (00:01):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning.

Speaker 2 (00:02):
Hi kiss on seven one, Hi, good morning, how are you?

Speaker 3 (00:07):
How was this weekend for you?

Speaker 2 (00:08):
To me, it felt like it was one of those
a little bit of this, little bit of that weekend,
a little bit over here, a little bit over there,
and then you blink and all of a sudden, we're
back at Monday. Weather mostly cooperated for us, at least
on a sunshine perspective. If you were at FC Cincy's
game on Saturday night, I'm sure it was pretty chilly
inside TQ, well, you'll have to let me know. But
the one thing that I noticed about yesterday was that

(00:31):
there were at.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
Least eighteen people, eighteen.

Speaker 2 (00:34):
Different cars in line to get a car wash, so
much so where I pulled in and I waited a
few minutes and it didn't move, and I backed out
in abandoned the mission. So when I leave the office today,
that'll be the very first thing I do is get
a car WASH's supposed to be in the fifties, there
is something so nice and something so like a reset

(00:56):
about getting your car washed.

Speaker 3 (00:58):
And I always go to the same car wash.

Speaker 2 (01:00):
I will drive out of the way to go and
I think it's called like White Water or White River.

Speaker 3 (01:05):
I just know it.

Speaker 2 (01:05):
It's positioned on Red Bank, right outside of the Cincinnati
Sports Club. And if you know about it, then you
know they do free vacuums.

Speaker 3 (01:13):
They have free towels for you.

Speaker 2 (01:15):
It's just such a weekend experience for me, like getting
the nice coffee and going to get my car washed
car wash.

Speaker 3 (01:22):
Just just mm love it.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
And there are two types of people, like Type A
people on this front. At least of myself, there's nothing
in my car. It's clean, it's wiped down. I don't
treat it like a closet, although I do have spare
items in the back if I, you know, were to
need them. But I have a girlfriend of mine that's
got so much stuff all over all over in the car.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
I can't even ride in this thing. I can't.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
Why are there so many things? Like the cup holder
is where the cups go. You don't need six hundred
glasses for your like glasses cases for your sunglasses.

Speaker 3 (01:56):
Get rid of those things.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
When I was looking for my car, cup holders and
like spaces and pockets were really big.

Speaker 3 (02:04):
And it's just me.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
It's not like I drive people around every day, all right.
I hope you're off to a good star. I mean,
we've got things to get to. Three things you need
to know coming up at six fifty. Congratulations to Timothy Shalome.
He won real big last night. I'll have that more
coming up next.

Speaker 4 (02:21):
When you need to know she's got you, it's three
things with tif.

Speaker 2 (02:27):
Well, good morning, we're just before seven am on our Monday,
and I congrats to Timothy Shallome. I'll get to that
in a second, but let's do a little bit of
a sports roundup because some significant things happened with home openers,
et cetera this weekend. So first of all, the Cyclones
took the L on Friday, but they will play again
at home this coming Friday. The Reds took the L
as well in their spring training game yesterday. They'll play,

(02:49):
I believe the Dodgers this afternoon if you're looking to
pick up a little midday baseball as they're out at
spring training in Arizona. And then a congratulations to FC
since he pick it up the win at TQL Stadium
and basically their season slash home opener against the New
York Red Bulls. They'll resume Cup play at home on
Wednesday and then regular season play next week. They'll be away,

(03:13):
I believe, in Philadelphia before they come back home. If
you're looking to plan out traffic, et cetera, just know
that there will be some this coming Wednesday and next
Saturday around that area. All right, it, congrats to them,
they're back, all right. Second and three things you need
to know. A big congratulations as well to Timothy Shalomey
picking up Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a

(03:36):
Lead Role at the SAG Awards last night for his
portrayal of Bob Dylan in a Complete Unknown.

Speaker 5 (03:41):
As inspired by Daniel day Lewis, Marlon Brando, and Viola Davis.
As I am by Michael Jordan, Michael Phelps, and I
want to be up there. So I'm deeply grateful to
that this. This doesn't signify that, but it's a little
more fuel. It's a little more AMMO to keep going.
Thank you so much.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
Fun fact about tim he's the youngest best actor in history.

Speaker 3 (04:01):
He's never met Bob Dylan.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
I played that clip last week when Timothy did sixty
minutes and Kylie Jenner was not there. However, she has
been going to support him at pretty much every award
ceremony with the.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
Exception of last night.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
And I believe that's because her hairstylist kind of like tragically,
like unexpectedly passed away.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
His name was Heyesus, who's thirty four years old.

Speaker 2 (04:25):
He's done the likes of Kylie Jenner, Katie Perry, j
Lo and Moore, and I think she's kind of taken.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
It hard from what I've read.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
Kristen Bell was the host, and this is the first
time SAG has ever used a host. Here's a quick
clip of her doing some gossip girl.

Speaker 3 (04:45):
Is it weird being caught? No, I lie, that's not
it here it is okay.

Speaker 6 (04:48):
Hey everyone, gossip girl here.

Speaker 7 (04:50):
One of my sources, lay me eighty six, sends me this.
Spotted at table eight, Jeff Goldblum has a wicked at
the tight and a peek behind the curtain reveals he
likes his green eggs with ham and look who it
is not so lonely boy Timothy Challo May sitting next

(05:12):
to a hot steak medium rare, oh puave with a
side of broccoli.

Speaker 6 (05:18):
Wait, what are you lateon?

Speaker 3 (05:19):
None of this is gossip. It's just all about food.
I'm sorry, I'm just really hungry. So the two of them.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
You know, of course we're in Gossip Girl together. The
reason why this is all becoming like a full circle
is Lton. Miss Leyton Measter is married to Adam Brody.
Adam and Kristen Starren. Nobody wants this on Netflix, which
everyone loved so so, so so much, and Leyton is
making an appearance in the show. I believe it starts

(05:47):
filming season two this week. I want more about the SAG.
Congratulations to Demi Moore as well, she received the award
for Best Actress.

Speaker 8 (05:56):
You know, there's this idea that what we believe is
so much more powerful than what we think, and the
saying that you know, I'll believe it when I see it,
But the reality is when I believe it, I will
see it.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
And I am so grateful for this.

Speaker 6 (06:17):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
I love that for her. I believe it's her first time.
She's in a show called Substance, which I've never seen.
All right, lastly, in three things you need to Know
this morning, I saw the news come out over the
weekend that Ditty's attorney said no longer, I can no
longer support Ditty in this trial now, he said, quote,
although I have provided Sean Combs with the highest level

(06:37):
of legal representation expected by the court.

Speaker 3 (06:40):
Under no circumstance.

Speaker 2 (06:41):
Can I continue to effectively serve as counsel for him.
From what I'm reading is that it was a disagreement
amongst other defenders for this case on how they were
going to proceed. It just doesn't look good on the
optics front though. All right, that is three things you
need to know for the twenty fourth of February, coming
up at seven o five commercial free on Kiss one
oh seven one Happy Monday.

Speaker 3 (07:02):
I'd love to have you.

Speaker 1 (07:04):
If you're waking up with Ski in the morning.

Speaker 3 (07:06):
Kiss, good morning. I've got the wheel ready to go.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
We give ourselves a time limit because Sarah and I
could ramble on all day long.

Speaker 3 (07:16):
About the things that happened over the weekend. So are
we ready?

Speaker 6 (07:20):
Yeah, there was a lot. Let's go on.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
Let's spire up T minus five minutes go.

Speaker 3 (07:27):
You saw that what was the naked movie?

Speaker 9 (07:29):
Okay, it's called The Substance with Demi Moore, and I
would say seventy to.

Speaker 6 (07:34):
Eighty percent of this movie is just nudity.

Speaker 2 (07:38):
Like houseway Through or Unexpected or are you like this
is too much?

Speaker 9 (07:42):
It's shocking at first, and then there's so much of
it that you just become numb to it. Really, and
it's just the norm in this movie. So I'm trying
to watch as many movies as i can ahead of
the Oscars on Sunday, and the substance has been a
part of so much conversation about how more is in
this movie, and I'm like, I gotta give it a shot.

(08:04):
If my eyes cannot unsee what I saw in this movie,
Oh no.

Speaker 6 (08:08):
You have to watch this.

Speaker 3 (08:09):
Isn't it a good way?

Speaker 2 (08:10):
Is this a good fit for Tiffany or not a
good fit for Tiffany? We have very different tastes.

Speaker 6 (08:15):
We do have very different tastes.

Speaker 3 (08:16):
It's really a good story. You might get nauseous because
of the newvies. I felt queasy because of the nudity.

Speaker 6 (08:23):
There's so much to it.

Speaker 3 (08:24):
Oh my god, Sarah, it's.

Speaker 6 (08:26):
So dark and heavy and raw and it's.

Speaker 3 (08:29):
Probably not for me. Then it's on Amazon.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
There are a few other things on Amazon that I'm
hearing that I kind of want to get into. Oh,
the Award season always does. This always presents the movies
that you literally have never heard never and they always
win so.

Speaker 9 (08:44):
Big yeah, and she won last night the SAG happened, Uh,
the sag Wars. I don't know if you saw much
of that, but yeah, to me, outstanding performance by a
female actor in a lead role for this one. And
this movie's up for five different Oscars on Sunday.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
So I love that for her because I don't think
she's ever won a SAG if I'm might be.

Speaker 6 (09:01):
This is her moment. Yeah, this is her time.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
And she's going through it with Bruce Willis, which is
really sad. You know, they're not together anymore, have been
divorced for a long time.

Speaker 9 (09:10):
But they still have a good relationship, and I love
that for them. But at sixty two years old, I mean,
it's never too late to thrive, to keep thriving.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
On the complete opposite side of that was Timothy Shallomey,
who looks sixteen sixteen years old, literally sixteen years old,
but he's up for that Bob Dylan movie A Complete Unknown,
which I haven't seen yet either, and I it was
on my list.

Speaker 3 (09:31):
It just missed it over Christmas.

Speaker 6 (09:33):
Me if you have it on the list.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
But he's on his way potentially picking up this actor
for this weekend at the Oscars.

Speaker 9 (09:38):
That's one that I am going to make sure I
watched before Sunday because it looks good.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
Oscars and Grammy's. I don't know who's hosting the Oscars
this year. It's not Nicky, is it?

Speaker 10 (09:47):
No?

Speaker 6 (09:47):
Ooh, I don't know that either.

Speaker 11 (09:49):
Good.

Speaker 3 (09:50):
I'll look it up, all right. What's next on our list?

Speaker 9 (09:52):
Somebody making the headlines over the weekend, and not in
a good way. Our guy Dave Groll with the Foo
Fighters cigarette.

Speaker 3 (09:58):
He was just ripping a SI in public.

Speaker 6 (10:00):
He is stressed out.

Speaker 9 (10:02):
So we all know by now that he cheated on
his wife with somebody. We now know who that someone is.
She just birthed their child back on August first. So
her name is Jennifer Young. She's thirty eight years old.
I guess she's a producer. She writes novels, big fan
of rock and roll. The two met back in twenty
twenty two and they have a whole new life together.

Speaker 6 (10:23):
Now.

Speaker 9 (10:23):
They're gonna keep the baby's last name of Grohl, but
they're not going to say what her first name is
out of privacy reasons.

Speaker 6 (10:29):
But it's like the privacy is gone. We now know
who she is.

Speaker 9 (10:32):
I'm sure we'll see the baby's face and know the
identity very soon.

Speaker 6 (10:36):
But is the dad?

Speaker 3 (10:38):
Is Dave staying with his wife?

Speaker 9 (10:40):
Dave's wife has not left them them, She has not
left the situation. So Dave and his wife were lasting,
driving around together right before Valentine's Day. She is she's
in it when it I guess, which I think is
absolutely crazy.

Speaker 2 (10:56):
And they and the food Fighters were here maybe three
weeks or two weeks before this big news broke. He
didn't break in August. Yeah, and he was here.

Speaker 9 (11:04):
In July something like that. Yeah, we had just seen
the food fighters.

Speaker 6 (11:08):
So this is wild.

Speaker 9 (11:09):
He's already got three daughters with his wife, and now
it's a fourth.

Speaker 2 (11:12):
So when I see a celebrity ripping a sing in public,
it's like him and Ben at you know, they're speaking
of Ben Affleck and jal are officially divorced and single.

Speaker 9 (11:22):
They say this they back together. No, no, you're doing
a Duncan commercial together?

Speaker 3 (11:27):
No way?

Speaker 6 (11:28):
Oh yeah.

Speaker 2 (11:28):
I wonder if Ben and Jennifer Gardner will ever get
back together.

Speaker 3 (11:32):
I doubt it. I think she's too healed and too
grown for him. But maybe I like.

Speaker 6 (11:36):
Them as friends. We'll see what.

Speaker 3 (11:38):
Else do we have? I know, you're dying to talk
about the Reds.

Speaker 6 (11:40):
The Red started playing baseball over the weekend.

Speaker 2 (11:43):
It's so bad you really sit down at your house
in the middle of a Saturday and watch the Red
spring training.

Speaker 6 (11:48):
Absolutely idea. It was the first game of the season.
Are you kidding me?

Speaker 2 (11:52):
Good?

Speaker 3 (11:52):
Yes?

Speaker 12 (11:53):
No?

Speaker 1 (11:53):
Bad?

Speaker 6 (11:53):
Oh it was good.

Speaker 9 (11:54):
Ellie de la Cruz had an awesome spring debut, went
too for two homeward on both sides of the plate.

Speaker 3 (12:01):
What did Tito look like back there?

Speaker 9 (12:03):
Titoo our guy, Tito, you don't need Yeah, he said,
I'm an efin Red. So his quote is all over
t shirts now. And everybody's so hype for this season.
So they'll be out in Arizona for thirty one total
days and uh opening days thirty two days.

Speaker 3 (12:20):
Wow, we did it.

Speaker 13 (12:25):
Zero.

Speaker 3 (12:25):
Well, Happy Monday, y'all, we made it.

Speaker 11 (12:28):
We made it.

Speaker 3 (12:30):
Good morning.

Speaker 2 (12:31):
You're waking up with Tip in the morning on Kissuano
seven one. One thing that we just missed in Chit
Chat Roulette with Sarah at least is something happening in Erlanger.

Speaker 3 (12:39):
What's going on?

Speaker 6 (12:40):
This historic achievement, let's hear it for the girl leaves.

Speaker 9 (12:44):
Girly's in the back the formation of its first all
female crew right there in northern Kentucky.

Speaker 6 (12:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (12:52):
The Facebook post is super cute. You gotta check it out.
To lieutenants, two paramedics, and an EMT. Is there a
quote all ladies. I will have to grab that for you.
If I saw this as I was scrolling this morning
on Facebook, got out and I wanted to bring attention
to that too.

Speaker 6 (13:07):
So that's in my neck of the woods.

Speaker 2 (13:10):
Kiss is getting ready to celebrate Women's History Month in
just three or four days here, So I love that
as a good introductory Thank.

Speaker 3 (13:16):
You, Sarah.

Speaker 2 (13:16):
I appreciate you coming up two songs from now. I
was I the murderer? Am I a murderer? Am I
a murderer?

Speaker 3 (13:24):
Yes?

Speaker 11 (13:25):
Or no?

Speaker 3 (13:25):
There was a murderer on the loose.

Speaker 2 (13:28):
In Columbia Tusclum this weekend, and I'll let you know
if it was me or not.

Speaker 3 (13:31):
I'll get to that next.

Speaker 1 (13:33):
You're waking up with fifth in the morning, Kiss.

Speaker 2 (13:36):
There is a murder on the loose, I said Columbia
tuscl On, but I really should have said Mount Lookout.
That's where I was on Saturday night. Have you ever
done a murder mystery party?

Speaker 3 (13:47):
If you have.

Speaker 2 (13:48):
I know this is a very niche group, but you
should reach out to me. I'm wondering if how your
experience was in comparison to mine. Talk BACKO TIV, shoot
me a DM, call me if you want. I'd love
to get you on the air chit chat about it.

Speaker 1 (13:59):
So I did it?

Speaker 2 (14:00):
Nineteen twenty Speak easy murder mystery party. On Saturday, a
girlfriend of mine was hosting a birthday for her friend.
You need about ten or twelve people, and the one
thing you need to know about a murder mystery party
is there's a lot of literature. And if you're neurodivergent
like me, I mean, buckle up and get ready. You know,

(14:20):
you got your friends at the party, everyone's in costume,
you have a few adult beverages or adult.

Speaker 3 (14:25):
Candies in you.

Speaker 2 (14:26):
Next thing, you know, someone hands you your envelope and
they say to get to it, and you're like what.

Speaker 3 (14:31):
This is a novel.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
So there's a lot of literature that you need to
be prepared to like, digest and understand. Murder mystery parties
are broken into three rounds. So first round, everyone gets
their envelopes and then there's a section there that describes
what you're supposed to say to someone, and then on
the other side are a context clues about who you are. Now,

(14:55):
different people have different things on their cards. Luckily Wilene Black,
who is my care charter?

Speaker 3 (15:01):
Is it?

Speaker 5 (15:01):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (15:02):
By the way, it was a salacious journalist? I said, oh,
how fit in.

Speaker 2 (15:05):
Some people have more to do in the story and
others have less, and thankfully for me, I was on
the less side. So a piece of my card was
like just wander around and easdrop on people talking.

Speaker 3 (15:18):
I was like, okay, I can do that, like, no problem.

Speaker 2 (15:22):
But the second round comes and that's where the person
gets murdered and no one of course, like even the
host of the party doesn't know who it is. That
was one thing I said, Oh, does the host kind
of know who's who? They don't either, so they can
play and then that's when you start to get a
little bit more about the storyline. But things are moving fast,
like there's a lot of conversation happening, and I kept

(15:43):
being like, wait a minute, are.

Speaker 3 (15:44):
You like real life Lexi or are you like playing
your character?

Speaker 2 (15:46):
And she's like, Tiffany, We're all supposed to stay in
her character, and I was like, Okay, wait a minute,
I have like so many questions about this, so my
brain was I don't know if my brain was the
right fit for a murder mystery party because there's a
lot to digest and understand. And then the last round
is where you get a little bit more context clues
and you also make your guesses on who the murderer was,

(16:08):
and then everyone kind of reads this piece out loud,
Da da da, and then you're done. The whole game
can take anywhere from two to three hours, which is
making me giggle thinking about that Shit's Greek episode.

Speaker 3 (16:19):
I was not the murderer.

Speaker 2 (16:20):
I just was the salacious journalist and most of the
time I just hung around the chip bowl eating snacks.

Speaker 3 (16:26):
So there's that. All right, We're commercial for you for
a little bit longer. Happy Monday.

Speaker 2 (16:29):
If I'm the first voice that you're hearing today, I
hope you're off to a good start.

Speaker 3 (16:32):
Sun is out. It's going to be in the fifties.

Speaker 2 (16:34):
Coming up in two songs, I have the three things
you need to know to get your day started in Cincy,
including the latest from Rihanna. So wait, are we actually
getting a new Rihanna album?

Speaker 3 (16:46):
Oh my god? Stick around. That's next.

Speaker 4 (16:51):
When you need to know she's got you. It's three
things with tip.

Speaker 2 (16:57):
Who are we getting a new Rihanna album? Give me
a hot seck. I'll get to that in a minute
here or just before eight o'clock. At eight thirty, I
have your first chance of the day to win. Let's
sing Taylor Swift tickets. If that feels like a vibe
for you, It's happening at the Brady, So don't go far.
Let's do an in general sports roundup wrap up, because
I think some significant things happened in Sincy this weekend.

(17:18):
So first of all, the cyclones and order in which
they happened. The Cyclones took the l on that Friday
night game, but they're back at home this coming Friday. Second,
FC sinc pretty much their season and home opener was
a success on Saturday night, taking home the win against
the New York Red Bulls for like traffic and busyness purposes.

(17:39):
What you need to know is that they're back on
Wednesday at TQL Stadium playing in a different Cup game,
and then they'll be back at home Saturday the eighth
as well for regular MLS play. And then the Reds
took an l in their spring training game yesterday, but.

Speaker 3 (17:54):
Elie de la Cruz crushed it.

Speaker 2 (17:56):
We saw Tito for the first time and we're about
thirty two days out from opening down. All right, Second
and three things you need to know this morning, Justin
Bieber did a charity hockey game for the LA wildfire victims.
They did this at Crypto dot Com arena. Vince Vaughan
was one of the celebrity coaches. I saw Will Ferrell
there and here's Justin Bieber's intro.

Speaker 13 (18:19):
One of the.

Speaker 11 (18:20):
Best selling artists at all Tadge International Superstar and che
captain number six Dau.

Speaker 3 (18:33):
Listen to what they called him at the end.

Speaker 11 (18:35):
Give it up for Chris Nasty, ladies and gentle him
Chase Nasty, keep it.

Speaker 3 (18:39):
A real Who is biz now?

Speaker 2 (18:41):
I have never heard of Justin Bieber being referred to
as biz Nasty.

Speaker 3 (18:46):
He was caught on the sideline.

Speaker 6 (18:47):
Here is The.

Speaker 5 (18:48):
Message was, let's just keep playing hard out there and
work as a team.

Speaker 6 (18:51):
Well, fair enough, that sounds like a cliche answer, but
we love those in hockey.

Speaker 2 (18:55):
What does it mean to you to be here and
help people that have been affected by the LA fires?

Speaker 10 (18:59):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (18:59):
This is everything. I mean, we're just looking to have
a good time, and you know, just show that there's
when we all come together, good things can happen. Well, listen,
I know you're a new dad. How soon are you
looking to get your kid on skates? As soon as possible.
I'm sure anyone that plays hockey feels the same way.
Just like, want to.

Speaker 2 (19:17):
Touch base on this other justin Bieber story, just because
it's come up on my feet and I've actively ignored him.
There were rumors when Hayley Bieber was doing a road
pop up. Of course, she showed up looking like a
ten and he showed up looking like.

Speaker 3 (19:29):
A soft three.

Speaker 2 (19:31):
He looked as if he was quote messed up right,
and people have been worried that he's going through it,
that he's on drugs, etc. To me, his team came
out and said, you need to relax with that stuff.
To me, it just looked like he was probably a
little buzz for his wife's event. I don't know, though,
I'm not in a group text with them all right. Lastly,
and three things are getting a Rihanna album. I truly

(19:51):
let it go. I put it to bed. I said,
we're never getting Rihanna music ever.

Speaker 3 (19:57):
Again. The woman has moved on.

Speaker 2 (19:58):
However, she sat down with Harper's Bizarre and in this article,
she said, I've been in the studio a whole eight years.
I know it's not going to be anything that anybody expects,
and it's not going to be the commercial or radio
digestible Rihanna that you're used to.

Speaker 3 (20:15):
I think music is my freedom.

Speaker 2 (20:17):
I just came to the realization I just cracked the
code on what I really want to do for my
next body of work. And I'm actually feeling really good
about this. Here's what I think happened. I feel like
she's had a project to go, ready to go. She's
getting ready to do the super Bowl two years ago,
and this was going to be the big comeback of Rihanna.

Speaker 3 (20:37):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (20:37):
Then she ends up getting pregnant with Riot, and I
think that she put that entire thing to bed for
a little while. And I bet she went in and
redid the album and now we're going to get what
she likes. I don't care what it is, girl, Let's
just get it done. I'm ready to go. She also
said that Auntie was probably her favorite album of all

(20:58):
time and it's the one that she can listen to
without cringing. All right, that is three things you need
to know for the twenty fourth of February. Coming up
at eight twenty, Mental Health mondays, we need a little
pick me up.

Speaker 3 (21:11):
Don't go far. I'll take care of you.

Speaker 1 (21:12):
Next you're waking up fifth in the morning.

Speaker 3 (21:15):
Kiss well, good morning.

Speaker 2 (21:17):
It's Mental Health mondays on the show. How do you
feel better? Immediately?

Speaker 3 (21:21):
With what's going on around us and Cincy as far
as the weather goes.

Speaker 2 (21:26):
I had this conversation multiple times last week, multiple about
how tired and sick of the cold and the dark
and the laundry list goes on, about how far we
are from opening day, et cetera, et cetera, and the.

Speaker 3 (21:39):
Reality has sunk in.

Speaker 2 (21:40):
So Lori Starpage is our licensed clinical counselor. We brought
her over from Tuesdays, which is where we used to
do make a date or break and now we just
kind of touch base to give you a little little
something something to feel better on a Monday morning on
your way into work. So good morning, Lorii, Good morning.
That was every person I talked to with in the
last five days, how deeply over it they were about

(22:02):
the cold and the temperature and it being February. And
although February shows up every single year on the calendar,
it doesn't take away from how like, nah, it can
feel inside your own life.

Speaker 12 (22:14):
Absolutely, And I was one of those people last week too.
We had like that false spring and then the snow
came back, and it can feel really demoralizing when we're like, oh, okay,
we're out of this and then we're reminded, no way,
not quite. And this year's weather in Cincinnati has been
I mean it's been a lot. It's been our usual
challenge of like the gray, lack of sunshine, and then

(22:35):
we've had a lot of snow that's kept us inside.
And the main thing I want people to realize is
that the weather and the lack of sunlight impacts your
mental health. It impacts everybody's mental health. So it is
normal and I would say expected that people are feeling
over it. But one of the key things that they
can do to help themselves feel better is to make

(22:56):
sure they're getting sunlight, like actual sunlight on. So if
you can take a second to be outside.

Speaker 3 (23:03):
Even if it's cold, even if it's dreary.

Speaker 12 (23:06):
And the sun is out, go and get those rays. Obviously,
put on sunscreen.

Speaker 6 (23:11):
You can still get a stumber.

Speaker 12 (23:12):
You got to take care of that skin, but that
sun is.

Speaker 6 (23:15):
Going to help you feel better.

Speaker 12 (23:16):
And if for some reason you can't get access to
the sun, another thing you can do is.

Speaker 3 (23:21):
We call them happy lights.

Speaker 12 (23:22):
They're basically full spectrum UV lights and a lot of
people will actually turn these lights on and utilize them
during winters that we have in Cincinnati in the Midwest
where we can't get a lot of sunlight, and.

Speaker 1 (23:34):
This can mimic the sunlight, so it.

Speaker 12 (23:37):
Can help your body to create those feel good chemicals
that you get when you have natural sun exposure. So
that's another option if you can't find the sun.

Speaker 2 (23:46):
Notice how I do you didn't even bring up go
on Google flights dot com and look up a warm
weather ticket out of Cincinnati, because I get it, like
that would have been my first inclination to recommend. But
with the cost of everything at the moment, Eggs included,
booking a flight might not be an option, and I
understand that. So these are good options to have right now. Immediately,

(24:10):
have you had someone that's come into your office and
you've set across from them and you're like, I think
you're Okay, I just think you might need like some
actual sunlight, Like that's a thing.

Speaker 12 (24:19):
Right, Oh yeah, it's absolutely Thine and Ohio is usually
ranked as one of the places where people have the
lowest vitamin D, which means that they're not getting enough sunlight.

Speaker 1 (24:30):
The other state interesting that's.

Speaker 12 (24:32):
Low is Florida because they're inside because of the heat
all the time, so they have the opposite problem we do.
And I think it's really really important tip to your point.
We can't always just run away from a situation. Sometimes
we got to figure out ways to cope with it
on the ground, and that's where getting some extra sunshine
right now, I think can really help everybody.

Speaker 3 (24:49):
This is a normal thing.

Speaker 12 (24:50):
It's nothing to be scared of, but we do have
to take care of ourselves a little bit differently.

Speaker 2 (24:54):
Lori sharp Page is our licensed clinical counselor and practicing therapist.

Speaker 3 (24:58):
She comes on for mental health mone.

Speaker 2 (25:00):
You can follow her at the Coping Queen right now.
She's in North Dakota. What's the sunlight there, Well, we're.

Speaker 6 (25:09):
Waiting for it to peek through.

Speaker 12 (25:10):
It hasn't quite shown up yet, but hopefully, if I'm lucky,
I'll get some today.

Speaker 3 (25:15):
All right, we'll see you in studio next Monday. I
appreciate you.

Speaker 1 (25:18):
Gal, thank you.

Speaker 3 (25:20):
If you are looking to get some.

Speaker 2 (25:22):
Sunlight today, we'll have a high of fifty degrees and
there were at least eighteen people in line to get
car washes yesterday, so I'm assuming that's going to be
a case for today as well. In the meantime, we're
still commercial free Mental Health mondays here on SIFT in
the morning.

Speaker 1 (25:39):
You're waking up with Siff in the morning on Kiss
one oh seven to one.

Speaker 3 (25:42):
Hi, good morning, you're on the air.

Speaker 1 (25:44):
Good morning, how are you?

Speaker 3 (25:46):
I am well, Gal? Happy Monday?

Speaker 8 (25:49):
Oh is it?

Speaker 10 (25:50):
I know?

Speaker 3 (25:51):
I know, I know it's supposed to be fifty degrees today.

Speaker 1 (25:53):
I know I know it'll be the happiest I've been
in month.

Speaker 3 (25:55):
Well, congratulations to you, my gal. I hope to add
to your happiness. You are caller to and you got
to let's sing Taylor tickets.

Speaker 1 (26:02):
Oh that's so exciting.

Speaker 3 (26:03):
Thank you, You're so welcome. What's your name? What neighborhood
are waking up with? Men?

Speaker 1 (26:07):
Andy from Middletown, Angie.

Speaker 3 (26:09):
What's one thing you recommend I do in Middletown?

Speaker 1 (26:12):
Oh gosh, I.

Speaker 12 (26:13):
Wish I could give you good advice that there's not
much to do there unfortunately.

Speaker 3 (26:16):
Okay, well maybe you and I will meet for a
coffee one day then.

Speaker 2 (26:19):
Okay, if you took an l on these tickets, just
set a reminder you Siri for something. She's that old
bat usually just is a failure for me every day.
Could because I have an iPhone twelve mini still, but
use her set a reminder every day this week at
eight thirty, I'll have your let sing Taylor tickets.

Speaker 3 (26:38):
Okay, something to look forward to. We need it.

Speaker 2 (26:41):
In the meantime, we're still commercial free. We're not far
off from the three things you need to know to
get your day started in sincey Rihanna's got new music, supposedly,
I'll get to that.

Speaker 4 (26:48):
One, Glynn, you need to know she's got you.

Speaker 1 (26:54):
It's three things with tip.

Speaker 2 (26:57):
I'll get to the Rihanna new music once. Just before
nine o'clock here on this Monday, let's start off with
the SAG Awards from last night.

Speaker 3 (27:05):
Okay, if you're like, what's going on here? What are
the SAC Awards?

Speaker 2 (27:08):
The SAG Awards are sometimes an indicator to who is
gonna win big at the Oscars.

Speaker 3 (27:13):
Coming up this weekend.

Speaker 2 (27:15):
They also celebrate less people than the Oscars do, so
SAG you get mostly like Best Actor, Best Actress, where
Oscars recognize screenwriters, directors, musicians kind of like score all
of the above, right, So it's kind of a smaller version,
but still very valuable and important in someone's life. A
big congratulations to Timothy Shallomet who took home Best Actor

(27:41):
for his role in the Bob Dylan movie.

Speaker 3 (27:44):
And he said he wants to be one of the greats.

Speaker 5 (27:47):
I'mazz inspired by Daniel day Lewis, Marlon Brando and Viola Davis,
as I am by Michael Jordan, Michael Phelps, and I
want to be up there.

Speaker 3 (27:54):
So I'm deeply grateful to that.

Speaker 5 (27:56):
This doesn't signify that, but it's a little more fuel,
it's a little more ammo to keep going. Thank you
so much.

Speaker 2 (28:01):
Tim's the moment right now. He's the youngest actor to
ever win a SAG. And he took his mom and
here she is on the red carpet talking about you know,
when did she know that TIMI Tao.

Speaker 3 (28:12):
Was gonna hit it big?

Speaker 10 (28:14):
Well, they had these talent shows at LaGuardia, which is
a high school for the Arts, and he had this
personage that was little Timmy Tim, Little Timmy Tim, and
he had backup dancers around him, and I had to
go to Target with him.

Speaker 6 (28:29):
We drove up to Target at.

Speaker 10 (28:30):
One hundred and sixteenth straight and we got sweatpants for everybody,
and then I had to die them purple in my bathtub.

Speaker 2 (28:39):
Shout out to all the moms that have had to
do the ridiculous things for the kids, you know, I
love that. And I also love how Timothy has a
really good sense of humor. You know, that's one of
my favorite qualities about a human being. So congrats to him.
Kylie Jenner usually has been by his side during this
award season. She was not there last night, and I
think it's because her long time hairstylist passed away tragically

(29:02):
at the age of thirty four. Other notable moments from
the night. Demi Moore picked up Best Actress for her
role in.

Speaker 3 (29:11):
Oh My God, I'm blinking on it. I'll pull it,
but here she is.

Speaker 8 (29:15):
You know, there's this idea that what we believe is
so much more powerful than what we think, and the
saying that, you know, I'll believe it.

Speaker 6 (29:27):
When I see it.

Speaker 8 (29:28):
But the reality is when I believe it, I will
see it. And I am so grateful for this.

Speaker 11 (29:35):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (29:37):
It's called Substance, which is on Amazon Prime all right.
Other notable moments from SAG the first time that they've
used a host, and this year it was Kristin Bell.
She did a good job, lots of humor. Here's kind
of how this all ties together. Come on a journey
with me. So Kristen Bell and Adam Brodie Starr and
Nobody Wants This Season two on Netflix has no release date,

(29:59):
but they're set to start filming in now.

Speaker 3 (30:01):
Kristen Bell and Leeton.

Speaker 2 (30:02):
Mister were together for What's that show Gossip Girl that
everyone loved? Right, So her and Layton we're you know,
they were spotted there. Layton is supposed to be on
the next season of Nobody Wants This and everyone just
loves how her and Adam Brody, who stars in the show,
have this beautiful love story and Adam Brody was asked
about it on the Red Carpet.

Speaker 12 (30:23):
Is it weird being constantly dubbed relationship goals or are
you both just like, yeah, we are goals? No?

Speaker 13 (30:27):
What an honor? What an honor? I mean, you know
you only know what you see. But it's lovely to
be married to her. So I am incredibly lucky and
everyone should be so lucky.

Speaker 6 (30:38):
I love it.

Speaker 2 (30:39):
If you still haven't seen nobody wants this, you have
to get in on it all right. I think we're
on number two, second, and three things you need to
know Rihanna.

Speaker 3 (30:48):
She's teasing us again about new music.

Speaker 2 (30:51):
She sat down with Harper's Bizarre and I kind of
let go of the fact that Rihanna would ever put
new music out, but she said, quote.

Speaker 3 (30:57):
I've been in the studio for a whole eight year.

Speaker 2 (31:00):
I know it's not gonna be anything that anybody expects,
and it's not gonna be the commercial or radio digestible
Rihanna that you're used to. I think music is my freedom.
I just came to that realization. I just cracked the
code on what I really want to do for my
next body of work.

Speaker 3 (31:14):
And I'm actually really feeling good about this.

Speaker 2 (31:17):
My thoughts are that Rihanna most likely had has had
many versions of this album done, never felt right to
release it.

Speaker 3 (31:24):
But when she was gearing up for the Super Bowl half,
I really believe.

Speaker 2 (31:28):
That she was gonna get ready to release the album
and go on tour, you know, and then she got
pregnant with you know, with Riot, and it just kind
of all fell out. And I bet she went back
into the studio and started reworking some of the music.

Speaker 3 (31:39):
And that's what we're gonna get.

Speaker 2 (31:40):
I have absolutely no release date for you, so I'm
gonna just keep holding my breath yet again.

Speaker 3 (31:45):
All right.

Speaker 2 (31:46):
Lastly, and three things you need to know on the
movie and TV front. We're gonna spend more time on
this coming up around nine to twenty. What's the big
TV show that you should watch? And movie you should
watch right now? But Tom Holland's Spider Man got its
release date. It's coming out on July thirty first. But
who won the box office for this weekend? I'll have
that for you coming up next. The best way to

(32:06):
keep listening to Tiff in the morning is by searching
kiss one O seven one on the iHeartRadio app.
